A traditional Taiwanese style cemetary on the hill. They can't build stuff on hills, so they bury the dead there to save space on flat land. That's my understanding of it at least...

Some squalor in the middle of an otherwise decent area, you'll find that sort of thing all over here in Taiwan.

A taxi, and to the left of its front end, a beetle nut hut. These little huts often have attractive, scantly clad girls in them selling beetle nuts, cigarettes and other such products to all the guys passing by. Beetle nut shops aren't nearly as prolific in Taipei as they are in Kaohsiung...
