Q: What's the Japanese word for videoblog?
A:ビデオブログ (Videoblog)

Momentshowing ask: " I expected to find all these Japanese sites with videoblogs. Why?"

Sheesh. They're Japanese: 100 years in the hardware future and 100 years behind in software.

My standard Japanese company joke:
Q: "What do you call a salaryman with an opinion?"
A: "Unemployed."
Blogging is not as big in Japan because having an opinion is gauche.

1. I found your video-blog via the wonder of RSS feeds. You are sometimes listed in both http://www.technorati.com/ and http://www.feedster.com

2. Automatically search the globe for RSS feeds with the keywords "tokyo" "japanese" or "japan". Your typepad account for Momentshowing popped up on those keywords.

4. Sheeeeeee-it, I've been in Tokyo 20+ years.

5. My RCA Lyra PVR is busted but when it's working I may post stuff. Mostly I'm the "subject" not the videoographer. I have "real" venues for video over with my friends in who are in the biz at:
