Physical Description: Demosthenes Rubert Vol’ivian (Rubert) has the generic Vulcan Characteristic of pointed ears and slanted eyebrows. He is physically and medically identical to both Romulan and Vulcan physiology due to his hybrid nature. Rubert has the hazel eyes and sandy blond hair of his father, and the gently sweeping forehead and nose of his mother. He stands at 6’0” and weighs 190 pounds. He is athletically toned, and has the extra physical strength of his father, yet it is diluted by the Vulcan strength of his mother.

History: Demosthenes Rubert Vol’ivian (Rubert) was born on the planet Vulcan in the year 2345. He biological parents are Remon Horishtk Vol'ivian(Romulan) and Antonellina Laouenan Vol’ivian (Vulcan). At age 18, Rubert enrolled in Cochrane University, where he completed a four year degree in space science, then enrolled in Starfleet Academy. At Starfleet, he met his future wife, Jonahing Doplerhist. At their graduation Rubert and Jonahing were married, the year 2353. Desiring to be together, Rubert and Doplerhist stayed at Starfleet Academy and did their cadet year as Instructors. Rubert took several other classes while he was teaching at Starfleet Academy, and was not posted on a Starship until 2370, when the Federation was anticipating a Borg threat. While at the Academy, Rubert had been promoted twice, first to Lieutenant j.g, then to a full Lieutenant. He was promoted to Lt. in the year 2360. His wife, Jonahing, was also transferred to the USS Pathfinder during the same period. After the Dominion Wars ended, Rubert was again transferred.
