This trip to the northern highland of Mai Chau and mystical Ha Long Bay offers a balance of cultural and physical activities set amongst northern Vietnam's most stunning natural landscape. We trek for 2 days through villages in Mai Chau and overnight in a H'mong and a White Thai villages where we have opportunities to observe the local lifestyle of the people. From the mountainous region of Mai Chau, we travel east towards the port city of Hai Phong, our starting point to Cat Ba Island and Ha Long Bay. The next 2 days activities include trekking through Cat Ba national park, and enjoying a boat cruise and swimming in Ha Long Bay.
