There are a number of studio items currently going, and some that aren’t. Here’s the ones I remember, and if I recall any more or get told of them, I’ll add them to the list.
Red Top Round Up
In Series 2, Iain Lee did this as his first studio item after Daisy’s and his entrance. Consisted of short puns on what was in the tabloids that day.
Tommy Vance’s News Slam
Part of the actual show in Series 2, this has continued through Series 3 and 4 where it is part of the opening title sequence as a voice over footage only. Tommy ‘reads’ the major news items of the day over a relevant clip, and adds a satirical comment afterwards.
What The Papers Ought To Say
A segment in Series 2 with very occasional appearances since. Iain introduced a story, then Daisy read out quotes from papers and their alternative meaning.
Good News Bad News
Introduced in Series 3 and is now a fixture near the end of every Thursday Show. Iain and Daisy take turns to read out a short news item, saying if it’s good or bad, then putting an alternative and opposite slant on it.
Headlines
Has always been in the show, but only in Series 3 did it become an actual section. Pretty self explanatory section with added puns/jokes/gags.
Seems like Iain's got his knob out
News Just In
Just like Headlines, except at the end of the show. This segment disappeared shortly into Series 4, and was replaced on occasion by Today's Top Stories Again.
Dos and Don’ts
A Series 3 segment, Daisy and Iain went through a list of things to do and not to do on a given topic. The first was serious, whilst the opposite was amusing. Dropped for a short while in Series 4, it has recently re-emerged and is a frequent segment again.
And Daisy has seen him cum!
Ricky Gervais
From Series 3, Ricky has had a short studio slot usually once a week where he talks about something and ends up slagging someone or some group off like he does in his outside reports. On occasion, he does a little sketch instead. Iain and Daisy on screen hate his segment, but in real life they actually love it. Daisy was dying to laugh at The Ricky Gervais Penis Puppet Theatre at the Christmas Special, and did once it had finished. However, towards the end of Series 4, Daisy and Iain opened up on screen to Ricky.

Others
They occasionally have comedians on to talk about news. There is one segment where Iain and Daisy read a sincere apology to someone whilst a load of puns scroll across the bottom of the screen and a nasty picture at the end. There are larger segments on a topic relevant to the day (example being the Robbie Williams v. Liam Gallagher saga) and other short miscellaneous pieces which only normally get in because they are relevant.
