O.K., Love Boat toys, well, whatever floats your boat...HA!?
...yeah, anyway. With the popularity of the 3 3/4" Star Wars line released by
Kenner, many companies including Mego struggled to compete by releasing figures in the 3 3/4" size.
I guess passing on the license for Star Wars really had Mego jumping on
anything...as proven here in the most ridiculous line ever released by the
former toy giant. The line consisted of 6 figures and a boat playset
(which we do not plan to acquire just to put a picture on this site...right
Chris?). Although there aren't a lot of these toys around, you can find
them easily for really cheap because not many people really want them. I
could go into great detail about the differences in the material for the skirts
(cloth for Vicki and plastic for Julie)...well, actually that was about all the
detail I could really go into...but anyway, there's not much to say. I
guess these guys could be extras when you were playing with your CHiPs
figures. Isaac could have been a valet for Boss Hogg when going visiting
his favorite Sea Food restaurant...in fact, the rest of the guys could have been
waiters there. So there you go, these guys weren't worthless after all :-)
