Although the 8" Star Trek series was much more popular and the
12" series was better designed, Mego also released a 3 3/4" series to
match the scale of the very popular Star Wars figures made by Kenner. The
six crew members (Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Decker and Ilia) are
very easy to find both on and off the card. The six aliens (Klingon, Arcturian,
Rigellian, Megarite, Zaranite and Betelgeusian) are much more difficult to come
by carded or loose and sell for considerably more than the crew. In
additon to the 12 figures, an Enterprise Bridge playset and the Surak Shuttle
were also produced.
