At the Richards mansion in Sunset Beach:
Olivia: Oh Gregory... Iīm so glad youīre home.
Olivia gave her ex-husband a big hug.
Gregory: Believe me Liv, so am I.
They sat down on the couch in the livingroom
Olivia: I still canīt believe A.J shot Francesca... And framed you!
Gregory: He was smart. He knew I was gonna confess to the murder if I believed Caitlin did it. I canīt believe I fell for it! I know Caitlin would never kill anyone, yet he made me think so... Well itīs over now. Letīs just look forward.
Olivia: Yes... So when is your divorce from Annie final?
Gregory: Soon I hope. But first we must find her so she can sign the papers.
Olivia: What do you mean? Is she gone or what?
Gregory: It seems like that. No one has seen or heard from her in months.
Olivia: WHAT? Did she leave town?
Gregory: Yes she did. I spoke with Jude yesterday and he said she left in February.
Olivia: Well, isnīt this odd...Normally I would be thrilled if she disappeared but not now. She must sign those papers!
Gregory: Donīt worry Liv, weīll find her soon. Meanwhile, letīs just concentrate on each other...
Olivia smiled and leaned forward to kiss Gregory. They shared a passionate kiss. Then Olivia layed down her head on his chest, still with her eyes closed after the kiss.
Olivia: Iīm so glad weīre back together, Gregory. Iīve missed you so much. Iīve missed being close to you.
Gregory: So have I, Liv, so have I.
He smelled her hair and smiled.
At Jude Cavanaughs apartment in Sunset Beach.
Ben Evans is just dropping by.
Jude: Ben, what are you doing here? Havenīt you caused enough pain already?
Ben: Excuse me?
Jude: Look I know all about Meg and Iīm sorry she died but that doesnīt give you the right to hurt and take advantage of Annie the way you did.
Ben: I know it was stupod to sleep with Annie for comfort but she wanted it and also knew it was a one-night-stand. Now have you seen her? I really must talk to her.
Jude: You donīt know?
Ben: Know what?
Jude: Annie left town - in February!
Ben: What??
Jude: Yeah, you were so bust morning Meg you didnīr even notise that Annie was gone.
Ben: Hey, I was going through hell. My wife had just passed away.
Jude: And you think you were the only one hurting? For Godīs sake Annie had a miscarriage and...
Ben: A MISCARRIAGE? Annie?
Jude: You didnīt know that eighter?
Ben: No, I didnīt. Jude, Iīm sorry.
Jude: Ben, it was your baby.
Ben: My baby? Annie lost MY baby?! Jude: Yes. And she was devistated.
Ben: Oh my God, Annie... Where is she?
Jude: I donīt know where she is... thanks to you. She just left. But she left a letter. Iīll get it for you.
Jude got the letter and handed it to Ben.
Dear Jude
Iīm sorry for everything Iīve done to you lately. I didnīt mean to hurt you. I hope that one day you will be able to forgive me.
Iīm leaving town today. I canīt stay. All I can think about is my baby. I need to get away. So I decided to go back to my past and clear things up before I can continue my life. I donīt think I will come back to Sunset Beach for a long time.
Before I leave Iīm gonna say good-bye to Ben. If he even cares. This thing with Meg has really been rough on him but he deserves to know the truth.
Take care Jude
Annie
Ben: She didnīt say good-bye. I never even saw her. Go back to the past? What did she mean by that?
Jude: I donīt know. Maybe you should ask Maria since she and Annie go way back.
Ben: Yeah, I will. And Jude, thanks.
At Marias house
Maria: Ben? What brings you by?
Ben: I need to talk to you. Itīs about Annie
Maria: What is it?
Ben: She left town months ago and I need you to help me find her.
Maria: Me? What makes you think I can help you with that?
Ben: You and Annie go way back and in a letter to Jude she said she had to go back to her past and clear things up. Do you know what she meant by that?
Maria: I might. But Iīm not sure I can tell you. Annie told me not to tell anyone.
Ben: Maria, please! Itīs very important for me to find her.
Maria: Well... O.K. I think she is in L.A.
Ben: Los Angeles... O.K. Thank you Maria.
Maria: Ben wait!
Ben: What is it?
Maria: I think there is something you must know before you go there...
In Ludlow, Kansas
Sheila: Mike, honey can you pass me the eggs?
Mike: Here (passing the eggplate). Look! Itīs our old "friends"in the paper.
Mike held up the paper for her to see it. On it was a picture of the Forrester family.
Sheila: Give it to me.
She took it from his hands and looked at it.
Sheila: Look at them, all so happy. This is wrong. I should have killed Stephanie when I had the chanse.
Mike: Sheila, let it go. Itīs history now.
Sheila: History? No way. She ruined my life!
Mike: Thatīs not true. You have me and little Mary.
Sheila: Yes, something she couldnīt take away from me no matter how much she tried. But still, she forced me to escape and she stole James from me
Mike: Youīre better of without that stiff psychologist.
Sheila: Letīs not get into that now, Mary can come in any moment.
Sheila went to a window and stared at the picture a few minutes.
Mike: Sheila, what are you thinking now?
Sheila: I want my revenge Mike. Stephanie is not gonna get away with what she did to me.
Mike: No honey, itīs to dangerous. What if the police saw you? You donīt want Mary to loose her mother?
Sheila: Donīt worry Mike. That will not happen. Book two flight tickets. We are going back to Los Angeles
Mike: No, Shiela. Not a good idea. Anyway, you couldnīt bring Mary.
Sheila: Of course not. She can be with Mrs. Miller meanwhile weīre gone.
Mike: What have you in mind?
Sheila: I told you not to worry. I have this all figured out. Stephanie is gonna get a taste of her own medicine. Weīll make sure of it. Now, go call the airport.
Mike: O.K Sheila... But I donīt like this.
Brooke Logans house.
Thorne and Brooke discuss Macy.
Brooke: Do you really think Macy is gonna change her mind about your divorce?
Thorne: Yes, Macy know she canīt fight our love, sweetie. She will give me this divorce, she wonīt like it but I have to believe she will do this for me.
Brooke: I hope you are right, but she was so determined to "win you back".
Thorne: Donīt worry, she will sign those papers. I have to go. I call you later.
Brooke: Good luck!
Thorne: Hope I donīt need it...
Thorne gave Brooke a kiss and left to see Macy
Macyīs beach house
Macy: Thorne...
Thorne: Macy, I need to talk to you. Can I come in?
Macy: Thorne, I know youīre here to try talking me into signing those papers but stop waisting your time cause I wonīt sign them. Not now, not ever!
Thorne: Macy, please...
Macy: NO! And you will thank me when you discover what kind of a woman Brooke really is. Itīs so sick to see how that homewrecker has you...
Thorne: Enough Macy! I donīt want to hurt you. Itīs the last thing I want, but you have to understand how I feel about Brooke.
Macy: You think you love her but you donīt! Itīs lust, not love.
Thorne: No Macy! Iīve never felt like this for any other woman than Brooke. Iīm sorry.
Macy: Not as sorry as you are gonna be when Brooke starts chasing another occupied man. Or is it gonna be Ridge again?
Thorne: This is getting no where. Good bye.
Macy: No Thorne wait!
Thorne didnīt listen. He drove away annoyed with Macy who wouldnīt see how much he and Brooke loved each other. How was he supposed to convince Macy to change her mind? And if she ever did, how is Stephanie and the rest of his family going to react to it? Would he even be apart of the Forrester family when he married Brooke?
Amber and Beckyīs apartment.
Amber: God, C.J... I miss Becky so much!
C.J: I know Amber, I know. I do to.
C.J and Amber sat on the couch in each others arms crying over Beckyīs death. Two weeks had passed now and C.J had moved into the apartment with Amber and little Eric. They had decided to raise Beckyīs son together. That was Beckyīs wish. She wanted the two of them to always be there for him togerher with her parents and the Forresters and their friends. She could die with a smile on her face as she knew her son would have a wonderful life.
Amber: Do you think Becky is watching us now?
C.J: Absolutely! She will always watch over little Eric.
Amber: Itīs so hard to realize that sheīs gone. She was so alive. I remember when we were younger and used to play those silly little games and we always had so much fun. And she used to comfort me when me and my mum used to fight. She helped me through so much. I owed her a lot. And I canīt ever pay her back for all sheīs done for me.
C.J: What are you talking about? You did everything you could to make her last days happy and now you are gonna take care of her son for her.
Amber: I canīt see that as a favor. It goes without saying.
C.J: As it was for her when you were going through rough times.
Amber: I guess youīre right. But still, I wish I could have done more for her.
C.J: I know what you mean, Amber. But there wasnīt anything we could have done. Itīs late. Arenīt you gonna try to get some sleep?
Amber: Soon. Canīt we just here for a little while more?
C.J: Sure.
C.J kissed her forehead and she laid down on his knees and closed her eyes. After a couple of minutes she was asleep. C.J put his arm around her and looked into the lighted candle on the table infront of him as a tear rolled down his cheek.
C.J: Goodbye Becky Garrison, I love you.
go to...
