Faith is the tough, good-turned evil, cool, awesome, great, wonderful,(ok, ok, I think we all get the point) Slayer sent to replace Kendra. After witnessing a very old vampire named, Kakistos kill her Watcher, Faith came to Sunnydale in search of the Buffy(I guess to reflect and grow or whatever the plan was). When she migrated to Sunnydale, the vampire followed after her to kill her(duh, what did ya think he was gonna throw her a house-warming party?). After he found out where she lived he went there tried to kill her but obviously didn’t succeed (after she teamed up with Buffy) Kakistos was killed when Faith plunged a large wooden beam into him
Living in a run-down, dingy apartment(it can actually be really cute at times, like the time she put the Christmas lights up.....), Faith struggles on her own while refusing to allow anyone to get close. Basically she kinda feels alone I guess or she could be shy....... Anyway bottom line she's kinda like separated from the scooby gang. Faith for the main part had small parts in most episodes y'know nothin big. But after a few Faith-less episodes, she appeared in, "Amends" where she spent the Christmas holiday with Buffy and her mom.
Faith has since made a drastic change in her lifestyle. She and Buffy started becoming like the best of friends and Buffy stated to be like kinda a bad girl(hence the episode name "Bad Girls")But one night while patrolling (and stealing!)Faith was a little to careless and kinda well killed the Mayor's assistant(hey nobody liked him anyway j/k)which by the way he was human.She tried to blame it on Buffy, then tried to skip town. But in the end Buffy found her at the docks and after a feisty, chick-fighty, verbal confrontation Mr.Trick came out of nowhere and he was just about to kill Buffy and Faith saved the day by staking him. Afterwards she just strolls up to the Mayor and they make this little pact like she'll be 2 faced to Buffy and Friends and like fill him in on whats goin on.
In the episode, "Enemies," she had the tables turned on her. After turning Angel back into Angelus, she teamed up with the evil vampire to kill Buffy. It went on for quite a while, until Faith finally discovered that Angel never really became evil, he was just pretending. Hence Buffy found out her scheme(darn)and like broke up with angel.The they got Back 2 gether. Then a few ep's later in the episode Choices, the Scooby gang tried to take down the mayor by stealing the box of gavrock(this thingy that had spiders the mayor has 2 eat for the ascension)Big Mistake! They got the box, I'll Give em that, but Faith captured Willow (YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).And henceforth Buffy and the Mayor made a trade to switch Willow for the Box. But when Willow was being held captive, she found the books of Ascension but like Faith walked in it was cool, here is just a brief summary of what was said;

Faith :Check out the Bookworm, you know anyone with brains, anyone who knew what was going to happen to them would try and claw their way out of here but you, you just cant stop Nancy Drewing can you?
Willow: Faith Hi I wanna...Talk to you
Faith:Yeah give me the speech again, Faith were still your friends we can help you...its not to late
Willow:Its way to late you know it didn’t have to be this way but you made your choice, I know you had a tough life I know some people think you had a lot of bad breaks, well Bo-who, poor you. You had a lot more in your life then some people, you had friends like Buffy, now you have no one. You were a slayer and now your nothing you’re just a big selfish, worthless waste
Faith:(puches willow(yessss!))You hurt me, I hurt you I'm just a little more efficient
Willow: Oh and here I just thought you didn’t have a comeback
Faith: Your Begging for some deep Pain
Willow:I'm Not afraid of you(i am sure)
Faith: yeah(pulls out her knife)Lets see what we can do about that.
Anyway back to reality, Graduation Day Prt 1. Faith and the Mayor are preparing, mean while my girl Faith, shoots buffy's all fabulous boy toy in the side with an arrow tipped with poison that kills vamps. So ultimately, Buffy decides, lets find a cure, which turn out to be a slayers blood. So Buffy goes to Faiths place and guts her on the balcony, but being the smart girl she is she throws herself over the balcony onto a car so buffy cant use her blood to kill angel. So angel sucks buffys blood she’s in the hospital and dreaming and faith and her make peace in Buffys dreamThen Buffy goes to faiths hospital bed and kisses her on the forehead. And that’s the last we hear of Faith for the 3rd season.
Hence comes, the 4th season. Faith only has 2 Episodes(cry) But the 2 best ones of the season In my opinion. Ok so, the first Faithy episode titled "This Years Girl" starts out with Faith having these dreams basically about Buffy killing her(how pleasnt)Anywho, after they go on for awile she wakes up beats up a girl steals her closes and casually walks out of the hospial, therfore unseen. She stops by Buffy's and peeks in the window seeing her all happy and joyful w/ the scooby gang and is odviosly hurt. The phone rings and Buffy picks it up, it is the hospital, informing her about Faith, My girl Faith realizes this and leaves, only to meet up with Buffy at the Campus the very next day! YESSSSSS! Basic confrontation yadayadayada, and then they punch 4 a little police come, Faith runs away, she comes later attacks Joyce, Buffy Whooses in and saves the day but not before Faith can switch bodies w/ her through some wierd device the Mayor left for her. Basically the next ep. Buffy gets out of the Grasp of the Watchers council, and gets her body back. Darnit!
Anywayz, Faith then decides she needs to pay Angel a visit, which winds up as Faith working 4 Wolfram&Hart, trying to kill Angel, she beats up cordy, nearly lights Wesly on fire, and in the end she turns to the good side(I think I am forming a tear in my eye). Thus proving that she can change. Buffy waltzes in tryin to be all bad and there is a whole big thing, finally to save me the hour of explaining, Faith turns herself into jail....into "Santuary"
