Gia slowly sauntered down the steps of Alexis' penthouse. Gia and Zander had been dating for 2 months and Gia had stayed overnight at the penthouse every once in a while. Last night being one of those nights. Gia quickly poked her head in the kitchen and found Alexis and Zander, munching peacefully on popcorn while discussing Zander's trial. Zander noticed Gia standing in the doorway first.

"Good morning, sweetheart." he said, rushing over and giving her a quick kiss. "I didn't want to wake you. You looked so peaceful."

"How do you do it?" Alexis asked, a face of confusion pasted onto her.

"Do what?" Gia asked, with a smile.

"How do you look that great after waking up?" Alexis asked, "I have never seen a woman who can look beautiful right after waking up. I myself take at least 2 hours, and even then nothing is guaranteed." Alexis stated, "And good morning by the way."

"You too Alexis." Gia replied, amazed at how different Alexis was at home, compared to in the courtroom. "Zander, A.J. called and I have to go do some work for him."

Zander groaned with obvious disappointment, but he knew she had to go. "Alright. Why don't you meet me at Kelly's afterwards?"

"Sounds great, I'll be there." Gia agreed, giving Zander a kiss before rushing out the door.

"That woman is a piece of work." Alexis approved, "Don't you let her go."

"I don't intend on it." Zander replied, still staring at the door Gia had just walked out of.

~*~The Cottage~*~

Liz awoke to Nik rummaging around on the floor, looking for his pants.

"Nikolas?' Liz screeched, looking at the alarm sitting on her nightstand. "Honey, it's 6:30am, why are you up?"

Nik leaned over the bed and kissed Liz gently. "Ned just called, I have to go to L&B." Nik replied, all the while trying to put his socks on while standing up. Suddenly he fell to the ground, in a ball of socks, pants and Nikolas.

"Oh." Liz said, trying hard not to laugh. "Do you need some help?"

"No." Nik replied, "I'm perfectly capable of putting on my own clothes. I learned that in kindergarten." Nik laughed, tickling Liz teasingly.

"Oh do you have to go?" Liz asked, a pout that fit so well on her face.

"I'm sorry baby, but yes." Nik replied, he swung open the door, gave Liz another quick kiss and disappeared.

Liz sighed and flopped back down on the bed, then she let out the laughter she had been holding throughout the entire time Nik was getting dressed. "Oh dear. My boyfriend can't even put on his socks. But god is he ever cute!" Liz squealed.

~*~Jake's~*~

Nik slowly walked into Jake's, taking the key out of his pocket. He had rented a room for his secret meetings, and only one other person had the key. He went up to the room, unlocked the door, and looked both ways in the hallway, before slipping inside. He went into the bathroom, got changed and returned to the front, where he took a seat on the bed and took out Juan's tour book. He hadn't lied to Liz, he did have work to do, he just intended on mixing a little business with pleasure. In the midst of his planning, he heard a knock on the door. He heard a key click, and saw the doorknob turn. She poked her head through and when she saw Nik sitting on the bed, she swung the door open, shut it behind her and ran to the bed where she said hello with a deep kiss.

"Gia," Nik said, "I've been waiting for you."
