"I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long." Gia said with a devious grin.

"Oh don't worry, I've only been here for about half an hour." Nik replied, gathering Gia up in his arms as he set Juan's tour book on the floor and layed back in the bed. "You managed to get away from Zander?"

"Mmm." Gia hummed, snuggling against his chest. "And Liz?"

"Yeah." he bend over the bed and came back up with Juan's tour book in hand, he held it over his head before dropping it back on the floor. "I told her I had some work to do for Juan."

"Oh." Gia replied, "Nikolas, I...what are we..." Gia let out a breath as she looked at Nik. She was longing to know what he was feeling, if it was half as overwhelming as what she was.

"What Gia?" Nik asked.

"Never mind Nik, never mind." Gia groaned as she layed back in Nik's arms, wondering how it had gotten to this point. She had been with Zander for 2 months and Nik had been with Liz for the same, but ever since Gia and Nik's secret rendezvous, she had been wanting more than a private love affair. Somewhere along the line of sneaking around, and the passionate love that came at the end of the adventure, Gia had fallen in love with Nik. That was the one thing she didn't want to happen. That was the one thing they had agreed wouldn't happen. This was an affair, they each had their significant others. This was just a little fun on the side. But somehow, Gia had lost control of her emotions, and it had become more than that. And she knew if she didn't end it soon, her heart would be ripped out when the time came that their affair had to end.

"Nikolas," Gia began, sorting her troubled emotions in her mind as she spoke, "I...I think we should stop this." Gia jumped out of his arms, trying with all of her might to keep his touch from impacting her decision. She had to keep her distance, because she knew that his eyes, his mouth, his body, could take her under in a second.

"Why, Gia, what's wrong?" Nik asked, shooting up in bed, his eyes widening with confusion. "Did something happen with Zander?"

"No, Zander has no clue. That's the problem." Gia sighed as she took a seat at the opposite side of the room, careful not to let his scent intoxicate her and change her mind. "Zander has been so good to me, I just feel so awful about doing this to him."

Nik sighed as he gently nodded his head, "So you feel guilty?"

Gia cocked her head sideways, trying to rationalize all of her feelings in one word. "Guilty...yeah, guilty." Guilty for cheating, guilty for lying, guilty for falling.... "I just...Zander's been sooo good to me, and I haven't been truthful to him. He would never cheat on me, he's always been completely faithful, and I just I feel so guilty."

~*~The Cottage~*~

Liz looked at herself in the mirror as she pushed her dark hair behind her ears. She spun around in the mirror, admiring the black silk lingerie Em had let her borrow. She tightened the straps, increasing her bust a fair amount, and reapplied her lip-gloss. She had an arrangement of fresh fruit and whipped cream sitting on the bed, along with candles and flowers on the night-tables. Liz heard a light rapping on the door and quickly padded down the stairs and paused in front of the door. She cleared her throat and asked in a light and airy voice, "Who is it?"

"It's me." he answered, "Sorry I'm early, I expected to be a lot longer. I was going to use my key, but I didn't know if you were ready yet, you said not to come in, that it was a surprise."

"Yes, but I'm ready now. Come in." Liz stood back as she watched the door open, sitting on the arm of the couch with one leg crossed over the other, her head tilted back and her hand resting seductively on her left knee.

She heard the door click as he walked in and she pursed her lips ready for her man. He walked through the door and dropped his jacket on the floor, not bothering to hang it in it's normal spot in the closet. He walked over to her, lifted her from the couch and pressed his lips against hers. He walked towards the stairs to the bedroom, with Liz still in his arms.

"Carrying me to the bed?" Liz raised her eyebrow in question, "Zander, that's definitely a first for you."
