Chapter 1: The First Night

(Scene 1: Lucky runs up the Kelly's stairs. He knocks on Elizabeth's door. He
takes out his key to open it. His hands are shaking so much that he's unable
to get in the door, so he kicks it in.)

Lucky: Elizabeth. (He shuts her door.)

Liz: Lucky hey. (She starts opening her eyes and looks over at her door.) My
door?

Lucky: I'll fix it later. (He sits on her bed.) Elizabeth lets get married,
tonight.

Liz: Tonight? (She looks over at the clock.)

Lucky: Yes, lets leave Port Charles and never look back.

Liz: Lucky, I don't know if I can do that. My life is here and so is yours.

Lucky: My life is where ever my love is. Please Elizabeth, I need you to do
this for me. I need you.

Liz: (She looks in his eyes and then down at her ring. She strokes his face.)
OK, let me just pack a few things. (She gets out of bed. Lucky is shaking, he
looks out the door then comes back in.)

Lucky: There's not enough time.

Liz: Not enough time. Lucky we have all the time in the world.

Lucky: I wish that were true.

Liz: Lucky, what's going on? Are you in some kind trouble? We can fix
whatever is wrong, we don't have to run away.

Lucky: NOTHING IS WRONG! NOTHING (He throws one of her pictures against the
wall, and starts ripping her clothes out of her closet and throwing them all
over. Liz's hands cover up her mouth to hide the shock. She slowly gathers
the courage to speak.)

Liz: Lucky, listen to me OK. (She goes over and touches his shoulder to calm
him down. He turns around.) I love you and you know I will go with you
anywhere. I just really need to know what's going on? You come here at mid
night wanting to leave without saying good-bye to any your family for no
particular reason. It's strange, it's not like you.

Lucky: I'm sorry Elizabeth, I ruined your picture and I made a mess. I scared
you didn't I. I don't know what I was thinking. (He goes over to the picture
and begins picking up the pieces of shattered glass.)

Liz: Lucky, Lucky, you don't have to do that. You might cut yourself. Lucky,
let me see your hand. You're bleeding, we have to wrap your hands up. (She
goes over to him and takes his hand.)

Lucky: There's not enough time. Elizabeth, I'm sorry, I didn't want to do
this.(He almost starts crying.)

Liz: You didn't do anything, it's OK. (She is interrupted by Lucky's hand. He
puts a cloth over her mouth and she immediately falls out. He lays her on the
ground and caresses her face. He lets his finger trace around her lips.)

Lucky: Your beauty shall never fade. I'm sorry Elizabeth, I'm sorry. (He
lifts up a piece of glass, he stares at it for a while.)

(Scene 2: A night and the next mourning. Nikolas and Gia come into Kelly's
and sit down.)

Gia: Nikolas have you seen Lucky?

Nik: No, not in a few days.

Gia: That's weird.

Nik: What's weird?

Gia: I was just at deception. Laura needed him. No one could find him for the
photo shoot or the one before that or the one before that. Do you think he's
disappeared again? I mean Helena has been a little preoccupied.

Nik: I don't know. Listen, he wouldn't just leave at least not without
telling Elizabeth. Maybe if we find Elizabeth, we find Lucky.

Gia: You're right I'm going to go check her room, why don't you call her
studio, see if she's there.

Nik: OK. (Gia gets up and goes up the stairs. Nik calls from his cell phone.
He lets it ring for a while). No ones there. (He hangs up and starts going up
the stairs.)(Gia knocks on her door.)

Gia: Elizabeth, It's Gia, you there. (Gia looks at the indents on her door.)
Wow, someone tried to slice and dice her door. (She touches it and it cracks
open a little bit. ) OK, so it's open. (She opens the door up completely.)
Oh, my God. Oh, no, no. (She backs up and then almost faints in Nikolas'
arms.)

Nik: Gia, Gia what's wrong?

Gia: Look (She pauses.) inside. (She stumbles into the hall way and uses the
wall to keep her up. Nik looks inside.)

Nik: No, no. Oh, God who did this to you Elizabeth. (A tears starts to sprout
down his face.)

(Scene 3: Laura comes off the elevator into Deception.)

Laura: Elton, have I gotten any calls from Lucky?

Elton: No, but you have messages up the wazoo from different distributor, who
are wondering where the new ads are.

Laura: That's right I did cancel that last photo shoot didn't I. Well you're
going to have to tell them the new ad well be out soon, just not now.
Reschedule.

Elton: I have rescheduled, over and over and over again. Mrs. Spencer, excuse
me if I'm out of line, but I have taken the liberty of finding many great
photographers to replace Lucky who are ready, willing and prepared to jump on
the deception bandwagon. One little phone call from you and the new ads could
be out in 72 hour, what do you say? (He lifts up the phone.)

Laura: (She takes the phone and hangs it up.) You want me to replace Lucky?

Elton: Did I say replace, no, no Mrs. Spencer. I'm talking about a temporary
photographer. A substitute, until Lucky is up to it.

Laura: My son is fine. We'll have the ad out, OK. In fact get a hold of Gia
and set up the next available photo shoot.

Elton: Are you sure Mrs. Spencer? I would hate to book a photo shoot, just to
cancel it the next day.

Laura: Well you're lucky you won't have to because I will find Lucky and he
will take the pictures. (Laura goes into her office.)

Elton: Oh, Laura. (he sits back down at his desk). Denial is not a river in
Egypt.

(Scene 4: In the basement of General hospital. Helena goes into Starvos new
room.)

Helena: Starvos, my beautiful first born. Are you well this mourning?

Starvos: I grow weary mother. I want my family back, like you promised
me.Helena: And you shall have everything you want my dear. As we speak, I am
making sure of that. It just takes time.

Starvos: I have already lost so much already. Nikolas, I want to see Nikolas,
my son, my strong handsome son and Laura. Laura, my sweet, beautiful wife. Is
her hair still as luminous as the sun rise and her eyes are they still as big
and as blue as the oceans?

Helena: Soon Starvos. Soon you will see your family. I won't fail you, my
son. (She rubs his face. Her cell phone rings.) Give me a moment, my dear.
(She leaves the room.) Who is speaking?

Lucky: (Lucky doesn't say anything. Helena hears him breathing.)

Helena: Lucky, I have been anticipating your call. Is step one complete?

Lucky: Yes, I did exactly what you wanted me to do.

Helena: Wonderful. I want to you to study your surroundings and when you find
the perfect time and place, move, but don't forget to protect your queen.

Lucky: I won't. (Helena hangs up the cell phone.)

Helena: Luke, I hope you can keep up, for you are quickly running out of time.
