Chapter 3:Proof

(Scene 1: Gia is still in Elizabeth's room.  She starts to creep out of the
room. She looks out the door and then closes the door, when she turns back
around she is surprised by a cop.)

Gia: OH! (She puts the picture in her back pocket.) You scared me, um well, I
have to go. (She walks past him.)

cop: Don't you take another step.  I'm taking you in. (Gia lets out her
frustration quietly and then turns back towards the cop.)

Gia: This is a big misunderstanding, that I'm sure my brother, Lieutenant
Taggert, can clear up for you.

Cop: Really well I'm sure he won't have to, because I know lurking and
tampering with an unsolved crime scene is illegal. You're coming with me,
now.

Gia: But, wait OK I can explain.

Cop: Unless you can make me believe that I didn't see you walking out of that
room, there is no need for you to waste your breathe.  Now, what were you
going to say?

Gia: (Gia balls up her fist and puts them in front her.) Be gentle.

(Scene 2: Laura and Nikolas are still at Laura's house.)

Laura: Why hasn't Luke called?

Nik: He left ten minutes ago.  He might not be to the yacht yet.

Laura: This whole situation is completely out of control.  Lucky was doing so
well with Kevin, and now Luke thinks Lucky was the one who did this to
Elizabeth.

Nik: Hey, no one said that. Luke and I just think that Helena could be using
him again to lure you and Luke back into this crazy, on going mind game she's
playing.

Laura: I know something is wrong.  No one can find Lucky and he hasn't call.
 I just wish he would knock on that door or call.  Lucky, where are you. (Nik
puts his hands on Laura's. She holds it and smiles at him.  Almost to thank
him for comforting her.  The door bell rings. Laura looks up.)

Nik: You might of gotten your wish, Mom. (Laura smiles and looks towards the
door.)

(Scene 3: Luke walks into the yacht, startling Helena.)

Helena: Luke!

Luke: Hello darling.  Happy to see me?

Helena: Am I ever?  What are you doing here?

Luke: You know why I'm here.  Where's Lucky and Elizabeth?

Helena: Luke, I am not your son's keeper.

Luke: Really, what ever you have hooked up in his brain would prove other
wise.

Helena:  Have you ever considered the possibility of taking the blame for
Lucky's belligerent and unpredictable behavior.  Surely I am not the source
of every single bad thing that has occurred to your family.

Luke: Cut the small talk Helena.  Get to the point. Where is Lucky?

Helena: Luke, Luke, Luke.  I use to believe you were a worthy adversary.  You
always had a scheme, a plan, but now, you are so direct.  The fear is
imbedded in soul and it shows in your eyes, to my pleasure.  You, a worthy
adversary, I thought to highly of you once again.  My mistake it shall never
happen again.

Luke: I will find Lucky, and when I do, you'll be the first one to know.

Helena: Why is that?

Luke: Because you will be lying in a grave.  (Luke leaves.  Helena picks up
her wine glass.)

Helena: Oh, Luke, I believe your threat is twisted.  For when you find Lucky
I shall know, for you and only you shall be lying in a grave.

(Scene 4: In the Police Department.  Gia is being led in by the officer.
 Taggert see Gia and immediately goes towards her.)

Taggert: Sanchez what's going on?

Gia: See, I told you he was my brother.  Come on Marcus make him take off
these hand cuffs.  

Taggert: What happened?

Cop: I found this young lady lurking around a possible homicide crime scene.
She was tampering with evidence.  She says she's your sister.   Is that true?

Taggert: Right now, unfortunately it is.  

Gia: (She rolls her eyes and pouts.) Hey, don't get a phone call or something?

Taggert: Sanchez escort my sister into the interrogation room and let her
make one phone call.  I'll talk to you later Gia.  We're going to have a LONG
talk.

cop: (He leads Gia into the room.)

(Scene 5: Laura and Nikolas are about to answer the door.)

Nik: Would you like me to get it?

Laura: No, I'll get it. (She walks over to the door and opens it.)

Scottie: Hello, Laura.

Laura: Scottie, it's you. (She smiles and then turns back towards Nikolas.
 Scottie walks in and closes the door.)

Scottie:  I'm sorry to disappoint you, were you expecting someone else?

Laura: Yes, and no you didn't disappoint me. (Nikolas' cell phone rings.)

Nik: Excuse me. (He gets up and walks into the kitchen.)

Scottie: I heard about what happened at Kelly's and I wanted to make sure you
were OK.

Laura: I'm not OK, none of us are?  Elizabeth could be anywhere right now.
 As far as we know she's out there hurt and she needs us to find her, but no
one has a clue where she is.

(Inside the kitchen Nik is talking to Gia.)

Nik: Hey, what going on?

Gia: I need you to come down to the police station.

Nik: Why? What happened?

Gia: (Gia looks over at Sanchez, she puts the phone on the table.) Hey, do
you mind giving me a private moment here?

cop: Fine, I'll be back in a minute.

Gia: I'm sure you will be. (She watches Sanchez walk out and picks back up
the phone.) OK, Nikolas are you still there?

Nik: Of course I am, now what's going on?

Gia: I was in Elizabeth's room looking for clues.

Nik: What? Why Gia?  Why would you do something like that?

Gia: Nikolas.

Nik: No, Gia if I would have known you were going to do that I would have
bought you with me.

Gia: Nikolas are you going to lecture me or let me tell you the good news.

Nik: What good news, you're in jail?

Gia: Actually I'm in the interrogation room, but that's not the point.
 Nikolas I think I know where Elizabeth could be and if my intuition is right
I'm guessing Lucky isn't far behind.
