Chapter 6: Truth

(Scene 1: Laura and Nikolas go inside of their last hotel.)

Nik: This is our last hotel Mom.

Laura: Maybe Luke found a clue.

Nik: Hopefully.  Or maybe the clues are here. (They go up to the check in.)

Laura: Hello, my name is Laura Spencer.  Have you seen either one of these
people. (Laura shows him the picture of Elizabeth and Lucky.)

clerk: Actually, I have.

Nik: Really, which room did they stay in?

Clerk: They stayed in room 345 if I'm not mistaken.  They left yesterday.

Laura: Are you sure you saw these two?

Clerk:  Yes I am.

Nik: Wonderful, do you think you could take us to this room?

Clerk: No, sir no one stays in a room without paying.

Laura: Were not staying in the room, we just want to look inside of it.

Clerk: No one looks inside of it, without paying. (Nikolas and Laura are
about to leave.) Hey, Don't you try to jimmy the lock.  I'll have you two
thrown in the slammer in ten and two. (They turn back towards the clerk.
 They look at each other.)

Laura: Do you except cash and charge?

(Scene 2: Inside Deception.  Stefan comes in.)

Stefan: Hello.

Elton: Why Mr. Cassidine, dark and devilish as always.  It looks very nice on
you.

Stefan: Is Laura in?

Elton: Actually Laura is not here.  I'm guessing it had something to do with
that sweet little Elizabeth Webber.   Some say she was slaughtered by Laura's
son, but you didn't hear that from me.  I mean it's a horrible thought any
way. That poor, poor girl.  Any who, I haven't seen Laura in quite a few
days.  In fact I've had to run Deception single handily it would seem for a
few weeks now.   Laura's been quite preoccupied.

(Taggert comes out of the elevator.)

Taggert: Well, well well, what are you doing here Mr. Cassidine?

Stefan: I'm here for the same reason you are here for.  To talk to Laura.

Elton: I tried to tell him Laura is gone.  I think she's looking for her son
and his fiancee.

Taggert: Wait they think Lucky has Elizabeth Webber?

Elton: Well, that's what I heard.

Stefan: Did she happen to tell you where she was going?

Taggert: Hey, I ask the questions here. (Elton leaves and goes into Laura's
office.  He shuts the door.)

Stefan: Of course you do.  If you rather them not answered.

Taggert: You have nothing to do with this.

Stefan: I have everything to do with this and so do you!

Taggert: What does that mean?

Stefan: My mother has Gia!

Taggert: What? Gia.

Stefan: You must stay in Port Charles.  You can't search for her.

Taggert: I'm going to find my sister.

Stefan: And get both yourself and her murdered in the process.  This is war
between those deeply involved.

Taggert: My sister is not involved in this war.

Stefan: Well she is now, and lets hope she is not a causality.

(Scene 3: On the Cassidine jet.  Gia is hand cuffed to a bed.  She begins to
wake up.)

Gia: Nikolas. (Her eyes open.) Nikolas!  Help me, somebody HELP ME! HELP,
HELP!!!!! (Starvos comes in.)

Starvos: There is no need to yell.

Gia: No, need.  Nikolas' dead father has kidnapped me and cuffed me to the
bed.  When am I supposed to scream?

Starvos: I mean no one can hear you.  We are tens of thousands of feet in the
air.  No one can hear you, and if your screams become an annoyance I will
desecrate them.

Gia: Where are we?  

Starvos: The Cassidine jet.  Ah how I've missed the comfort that came with my
name.

Gia: Why did you kidnap me?

Starvos: Your bate of course.

Gia: You don't need me.  They're already on to you and your psycho mother.

Starvos: Really, well that's even better.  Many will find their destination
but few shall leave alive.  Now (He takes his finger and traces around her
lips. Gia moves her face) unless you want to be one of those who shall spend
an eternity at our destination, I suggest you shut those beautiful lips of
yours. (He removes his hand and Gia stops moving.) That's much better.  (He
kisses her on her forehead and gets up.) You must sleep for the hours ahead
can't accommodate it. (He cuts off the lights and shuts the door.)

Gia: (Gia talks to herself.) I absolutely hate hand cuffs. (She starts trying
to get loose.)

(Scene 4:  Nikolas and Laura are with the clerk. He opens the door and cuts
on the light and they all come in.)

Laura: Thank you, I think.

Clerk: You guys can take as much time as you need. (The clerk leaves.)

Nik: Can you believe that guy.

Laura: Take as much time as we need.  Well, I think so, we paid for it.

Nik: OK, you check the closets, I'll check the drawers. (Laura starts looking
through the closet and Nikolas looks through the drawers.)

Laura: Whoa.

Nik: What did you find a clue?

Laura: No, but these people really don't clean well. (Nik looks at the bottom
drawer.)

Nik: Well hopefully that well work in our favor. Hey, I think I found
something.

Laura: What? (She comes over to Nikolas and looks.) Eyes.  OK why would
Elizabeth leave eyes?

Nik: Those are not just any eyes Mom.  These are Gia's eyes from the
deception ad.  In  fact. (Nikolas grabs a magazine sitting on the dresser.
 He flips through it.) Here we go. (He places the eyes back in the position
and flips the page.) I think we found our clue.

Laura: What?

Nik: The ad on the back.  It's a Cosmo ad.  Talking about winning a trip to
Honolulu, Hawaii, and getting a free shopping spree.

Laura: You don't think?

Nik: Next stop Honolulu.

(Scene 5: Liz and Lucky have left again.  They are in their next hotel and
Liz is questioning Lucky.)

Liz: Come on Lucky.  Tell me what's going on? Why did we leave Hawaii? Why
did you kidnap me from Port Charles?

Lucky: Elizabeth I didn't kidnap you.

Liz: Then why did you try to knock me out with that drug on the cloth.

Lucky: We needed to leave and fast.  Listen the drug wasn't that strong.  You
were supposed to be awake as soon as we got on the plane.

Liz: I was.

Lucky: Why didn't you tell me?

Liz: Because I thought I was supposed to be asleep.  I thought the
programming was back.

Lucky: Listen to me.  Helena thinks I'm some where else, but I'm not.  I had
to make her think it was so she would stay off our trail.

Liz: So your saying no one is supposed to know we're here.

Lucky: No one, especially my father.  I know Helena is tracking him.

Liz: Oh, know.

Lucky: What?

Liz: Well, I thought, that.

Lucky: What?

Liz: I've been leaving clues.  Clues to help find us.  Most of them to help
led Luke and Laura to the Cassidine Island.

Lucky: Why?

Liz: That's where I thought we were going?

Lucky: Oh, know.  Now not only are we in danger, but so is everyone else.
 Now we really have to go to the island.

Liz: Why?

Lucky: To save my family.
