Autobiography of Josephus

1. the family of which I am derived is not an ignoble one, but rather it descends from the beginning of priests' lineage; and as the nobility among several people is of a different origin, this way with us to be of the priestly dignity, it is an indication of the splendor of a family. Now, I don't only descend of a general priestly family, but of the first of the twenty-four (1) the courses; and like among us there is it doesn't only unite considerable difference among a family of each course and other, I am also of the main family of that first course; not only for my mother I am of the real blood; of the descendant Asmoneum of who that family was derived, had the occupation of the high priesthood, and the dignity of a king so much, during a lot of time.

 

And as such, he had access to the sacred Jewish books written in authentic old Hebrew, as he testifies Against Apion:

1. I Suppose that, for my books of the Antiquity of the Jews, more excellent of Epaphroditus, has made it evident to those that read them that our Jewish nation is of very great antiquity, and it has had a subsistence different from if same originally; as well as, I have declared in them how we came to inhabit this country in what that we live now. Those Antiques contain the five thousand year-old history, taken of our sacred books that are translated by me to the Greek language.

 

As a faithful priest, he just wrote down into Greek as it was in the Old Hebraic Bible:

Antiquities of the Jews, Book I, Chapter VI

5. I will now treat of the Hebrews. The son of Phaleg, whose father Was Heber, was Ragau; whose son was Serug, to whom was born Nahor; his son was Terah, who was the father of Abraham, who accordingly was the tenth from Noah, and was born in the two hundred and ninety-second year after the deluge; for Terah begat Abram in his seventieth year. Nahor begat Haran [Terah] when he was one hundred and twenty years old; Nahor was born to Serug in his hundred and thirty-second year; Ragau had Serug at one hundred and thirty; at the same age also Phaleg had Ragau; Heber begat Phaleg in his hundred and thirty-fourth year; he himself being begotten by Sala when he was a hundred and thirty years old, whom Arphaxad had for his son at the hundred and thirty-fifth year of his age. Arphaxad was the son of Shem, and born twelve years after the deluge.

 

It is easy to see how the Hebraic Bible had already altered Abraham's birth date: In the source appeared that Abraham was born 292 years after the flood, but at the same time appeared the birth dates of Abraham's ancestors:

Josephus testifies to us that the Hebraic Bible of his days had the old common factor of 100 years, except for Terah that had been reduced to 70 years. In the days of Josephus, the Hebraic Bible also had the common 100 years for the generation of Adam:

4. For indeed Seth was born when Adam was in his two hundred and thirtieth year, who lived :nine hundred and thirty years. Seth begat Enos in his two hundred and fifth year; who, when he had lived nine hundred and twelve years, delivered the government to Cainan his son, whom he had in his hundred and ninetieth year. He lived nine hundred and five years. Cainan, when he had lived nine hundred and ten years, had his son Malaleel, who was born in his hundred and seventieth year. This Malaleel, having lived eight hundred and ninety-five years, died, leaving his son Jared, whom he begat when he was in his hundred and sixty-fifth year. He lived nine hundred and sixty-two years; and then his son Enoch succeeded him, who was born when his father was one hundred and sixty-two years old. Now he, when he had lived three hundred and sixty-five years, departed and went to God; whence it is that they have not written down his death. Now Mathusela, the son of Enoch, who was born to him when he was one hundred and sixty-five years old, had Lamech for his son when he was one hundred and eighty-seven years of age; to whom he delivered the government, when he had retained it nine hundred and sixty-nine years. Now Lamech, when he had governed seven hundred and seventy-seven years, appointed Noah, his son, to be ruler of the people, who was born to Lamech when he was one hundred and eighty-two years old, and retained the government nine hundred and fifty years. These years collected together make up the sum before set down. But let no one inquire into the deaths of these men; for they extended their lives along together with their children and grandchildren; but let him have regard to their births only

These dates almost agree with those of Josephus!

 

The ? is because we don't have record of how many days of years passed the creation of Man Male and Man Female out of the image of God, in the sixth day, until the formation of Man Male out of the dust of the earth. Josephus says that the flood came in the year 2.656, which means that could pass about 400 years (2.656-2.256, Lamech died at 1.287+969):

God Gathered the waters in one place, discovered the land, created the plants with the theirs and seeds and fruits

Every "object" created is mentioned its "raw material"; so, fishes and birds came out the raw material water; cattle and serpents came out of the raw material land. The unique raw material mentioned for man to be created is the image or essence of God:

Let us make man from our images

And God made man, from the image of God he made him, male and female he made them

It is clear: water-animals and earth-animals were created first that the man; then Man Male and Man Female were created in the same sixth day. The principal verb used was to create, two workers are revealed: GOD, and the Spirit of God.

The creation was a stage different than the stage of materialization of the things created, since it is said:

1 And the heavens and the earth were finished, and the world of them. 2 And God finished on the sixth day his works which he made, and he ceased on the seventh day from all his works which he made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it he ceased from all his work which God began to do.

The workers God and the Spirit of God finished their works, to give chance to a new worker the Lord God for materializing the creation, following the reverse order of the creation:

4 This is the book of generation of heaven and earth when they were made in the day in which the Lord God made the heaven and the earth

 5 and every herb of the field before it was on the earth and all the grass of the field before it sprang up for had not rained on the earth

The principal verb is to make

The eighth day mentioned. First it is MADE the earth AND then the heavens

 Then the seed of the herb is made, and the seed of grass

The seeds needed water of rain in order to germinate the seed and grow the herb

Simple: the seeds were subjected to the water cycle and to the seasons

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, to divide between day and night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and for years.

The process started working as it had to function, every thing linked in chain in the circuit. The plants, herbs and grass must be first in order to feed the big army of animals. But for its growing water must be supplied accordingly to their season; but before, the seeds must be planted into the ground. The plants needed time to grow naturally, and to have its "sons and daughters", they must receive the seasons and respond to them. Before the rains were sent, The Lord God made first the stage of a pre-rain

6 But there rose a fountain out of the earth, and water the whole face of the earth

But then, in the right time, The Lord God sent the rain, since it is said that the seeds needed the rain in order to be [grow] on the earth. When the herbs and grass had grown, and not before, the Lord God formed the man to cultivate the earth. This took its "natural" time

and there was not a man to cultivate it. 6 But there rose a fountain out of the earth, and water the whole face of the earth. 7 And The Lord God formed the man of dust of the earth, and breathed upon his face the breath of life, and the man became a living soul

So, it is clear, the man was not formed in the morning of the sixth day, in that day it was created the man male and the man female. It is clear: the man [of the six day] became living soul

So, man goes from the state of soul to the state of living soul

Before Man was living soul he could not live on the earth

 

The Garden in Eden didn't follow the natural law, because the Lord God planted it divinely: 

8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and placed there the man whom He formed. 9 And the Lord God made to spring up also out of the earth every tree beautiful to the eyes and good for food, and the tree of life in the midst of the garden, and the tree of learning the knowledge of good and evil.

 

After the man was formed, the Lord God formed the animals in front of man in order to teach him how to name them, according to their origins: 

19 And the Lord God formed yet farther out of the earth all the wild beasts of the field, and all the birds of the sky, and he brought them and whatever Adam called any living creature, that was the name of it

The Lord God doesn't find any living creature to be a perfect companion of the man

18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone, let us make for him a help suitable to him. 19 And the Lord God formed yet farther out of the earth all the wild beasts of the field, and all the birds of the sky, and he brought them and whatever Adam called any living creature, that was the name of it. 20 And Adam gave names to all the cattle and to all the birds of the sky, and to all the wild beast of the field, but for Adam there was not found a help like to himself.

After that, and not before, the Lord God formed from the flesh and bones of the man the most beautiful and delightful thing:

21 And the Lord God brought a trance upon Adam and he slept, and he took one of his ribs, and filled up the flesh instead thereof. 22 And the Lord God formed the rib which he took from Adam into a woman, and brought her to Adam. 23 And Adam said, This now is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ISHA, because she was taken out of ISH.

It is clear that Living Soul was not formed the same day when Man Soul was created.

 

So, the dates of the New Hebraic Bible are altered:

We must remember that God announced the corruption of the Scribes around the year 650 B.C; so, we must expect corruption in 250 B.C, when the 72 elders made the translation into Greek, for instance, the following in the translations clearly one see the corruption:

Hebraic: And whoever blaspheme the name of the Lord, must die (Lev 24:16)

Septuagint: And whoever NAME the name of the Lord, must die

Which means that for the year 250 B.C. the name of God had already been altered

 

THE EVIL SCRIBES CHANGED THE NUMBERS OF YEARS OF JACOB WITH LABAN

 

According to the account of the Hebraic Bible, Genesis 29 and 30, Jacob didn't have twins. The followings were single births, one after other. Dan and Nepthali are not included since it is not clear if they were born to Bilhah at the same time when Leah had his first sons, even though it seems that they were born after Judah:

29:32: And Leah conceived, and bare a son, and she called his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the LORD hath looked upon my affliction; now therefore my husband will love me.
33: And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Because the LORD hath heard that I was hated, he hath therefore given me this son also: and she called his name Simeon.
34: And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi.
35: And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.
17: And God hearkened unto Leah, and she conceived, and bare Jacob the fifth son.
30:19 And Leah conceived again, and bare Jacob the sixth son
22: And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.
23: And Raquel conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach:
24: And she called his name Joseph; and said, The LORD shall add to me another son.

If Dan and Nephtali are also included, it yields 9 years. If one give some 15 days before the women conceive again, then it yields 9.75 years. According to the passages of the mandrakes Reuben was older that 45 months (from Simeon to Asher), since consciously he brought the mandrakes to his mother:

14: And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them unto his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy son's mandrakes.

 

This account doesn't match with the account that says that Jacob served seven years before Leah and Raquel were given to him as wives, Rachel being given to him eighth days later. Jacob didn't have sexual relationship with them before the seven years. Therefore, the children were born after the first seven years. It said that Joseph was born at the end of the second seven years, and then Jacob served 6 years to Laban:

30:25 And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country.
31:41 Thus have I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast changed my wages ten times.

Which means that Reuben was older than Joseph around 6 years, and some children were born at the same year; but neither agrees with the following passage:

3: Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.

 

This means that Reuben and the other nine were the sons of his not old age, as the same Reuben admits, when Joseph was seventeen years old:

 

37:2 These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.
37:30 And he returned unto his brethren, and said, The child is not; and I, whither shall I go?
42:22 And Reuben answered them, saying, Spake I not unto you, saying, Do not sin against the child; and ye would not hear? therefore, behold, also his blood is required.

Josephus, in the chapter three of his second book Antiquities of the Jews, say that Reuben and his brothers admits that Joseph was very young with respect to them:

He told them further, that their consciences would be their enemies, if they attempted to go through so wicked an enterprise, which they can never avoid, whether it be a good conscience; or whether it be such a one as they will have within them when once they have killed their brother. He also added this besides to what he had before said, that it was not a righteous thing to kill a brother, though he had injured them; that it is a good thing to forget the actions of such near friends, even in things wherein they might seem to have offended; but that they were going to kill Joseph, who had been guilty of nothing that was ill towards them, in whose case the infirmity of his small age should rather procure him mercy, and move them to unite together in the care of his preservation.

 

Really Jacob was about 50 years old when he fled to Laban:

26:34 And Esau was forty years old when he took to wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite:
49:3 Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:
