Day One: Memories
Sheridan stood outside her cottage and looked up at the sky. Here it was,
February, and there was still now snow in Harmony. She loved the snow, it
had always struck her as romantic. Sheridan sighed and walked inside.
(At the youth center)
Luis was just finishing up some work when he looked through the window of
his office. "Here it is, February, and there's still no snow in Harmony."
Luis said to himself. He sighed and turned on the radio only to hear tango
music. Immediately, he thought of Sheridan. He just couldn't her off his
mind. Then he remembered the deversion they had pulled at the Crane mansion
to keep Julian from knowing what they were really doing. He couldn't believe
the electricity that happened between them during their kiss. 'I only wish
we had done that sooner, and for real...' he thought to himself with a grin
on his face.(Back at Sheridan's cottage)
Sheridan was laying on her bed staring out the window and thinking of Uis.
She just couldn't get him off her mind. Suddenly, she remembered how he
saved her over the man he thought was his father on New Years', and how they
ended up in eachothers arms at the stroke of midnight. She then was caught
up in a memory of Luis' and her deversion the other night at the Crane
mansion to make Julian think they weren't snooping around. 'I can't believe
the way he responded.' she thought to herself with a big smile on her face.
All of a sudden, her phone range snapping her back into the present.
"Hello?" she asked kind of paranoid since this person had interrupted her
thoughs of Luis. "Hi, Sheridan...it's me, Luis." Sheridan was speechless.
She couldn't believe it! Luis was calling her! "What can I do for you,
Luis?" she responded nervously. "I was wondering if you could come over to
the youth center for awhile." "Of course, I'll be there right away..."
"Great, ok, bye." "Bye." Sheridan grabbed her jacket and was out the door in
a heartbeat.
Luis and Sheridan both have feelings for eachother, but will they admit it?

Day Two: You Are My Passion For Life
(Back at the youth center)
Sheridan opened up the door and walked across the gym towards Luis' office.
She walked inside and said a nervous hello. "I'm glad you came." Luis
replied flashing his killer smile. Sheridan almost fainted. "So, Luis, what
did you want to see me about?" she asked taking off her jacket since she was
overcome with heat (from Luis of course) and taking a seat. 'God, he's fine,
why didn't I notice this before?' Sheridan thought to herself. 'God, she's
beautiful, why didn't I notice this before?' Luis said to himself. "I needed
your help with something..." he responded snapping back into reality while
walking out of his office and into a small room with cabinets. Sheridan's
heart sank as she followed him. She thought he was going to ask her out for
real. "Hey, do you want some coffee?" he asked taking out two cups. "Yeh,
sure.." she replied. "Ok, can you get the can down from the top cabinet up
there while I get the water?" "Ok." Even though Sheridan was turned around,
she could feel his liquid brown eyes staring intensly at her. "Luis, I don't
see any can up here.." she said leaning up and turning around to see Luis's
arms around her which pinned her down from being able to get away. They were
so close that she could feel Luis' breath go down her shirt which gave her a
warm feeling all over her body. "Sheridan, listen..." Luis started moving
even closer to her until not one speck of light could possibly be seen
between them. "Luis, I--" her voice trailed off when her breath got caught
up in her throat. He made her knees and whole body weak. She didn't want him
to move away. "I know that you probably wouldn't even consider it, but,
would you like to go out on Valentines day with me?" he asked softly, his
lips merely touching hers. She couldn't fight the chemistry anymore. She had
to kiss him, and then. But she was too late, he was already kissing her with
all of his passion buried deep inside of him. And she was responding the
same way. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer than
they were already, which at the time didn't seem humanly possible. He was
bending her over the counter of the room they were in. She was pulling him
closer and cloesr to her with no chance of letting him go. And all either of
them could think about was the love they were now sharing, and neither of
them ever wanted it to stop.

Day Three: Breathe, just Breathe
Even though neither of them wanted to stop, they had to breathe. But they
didn't even attempt to move apart. "Luis..." Sheridan whispered against his
lips. "Yes?" he replied softly. "I lo--" her voice was cut off by the sound
of foot steps and Hank's voice. "Luis? Sheridan?" Hank called from down the
hallway. "Should we tell him?" Sheridan asked as Luis reluctantly moved away
from her. "No way, it'll kill him." Sheridan nodded and saw the pain in
Luis' eyes. He didn't want to hurt his best friend, but he didn't want to
break away from Sheridan either. They broke off their gaze into eachothers
eyes when Hank walked in. "Hey guys, what's up?" "Nothing." they responded
in unison. At first, Hank gave them a weird look, but then he shook it off
as he walked over to Sheridan and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Hey babe,
how's it going?" He asked with a cheesy smile. Sheridan hated it when he
kissed her. It felt so nasty...so wrong, even if it was just on the cheek.
"Please, don't do that, Hank." Sheridan said as politely as possible even
though she was terribly disgusted. "And give me one reason why I can't kiss
my beautiful girl?" he asked like a jerk. "Hey, she said stop, Hank." Luis
said loudly almost forgetting that Hank didn't know about him and Sheridan.
Sheridan saw the rage in Luis' eyes die out once he realized what he had
said. She was so touched that he wanted to protect her, as he did that night
on the Seascape restraunt roof top. She wanted him to hold her in his arms
again, but she knew they would have to wait for Hank to leave. "Hey, what's
gotten into you? Since when did you care about my relationship with Sheridan
Crane?" he asked as if Sheridan wasn't even there. "Hank, we are NOT
boyfriend and girlfriend!" Sheridan butted in. She saw how angry Hank's eyes
got, but she didn't care. She loved Luis, and only Luis. "Ok, you know what?
FINE! You are both in too weird of a mood for ME!" Hank yelled stomring out
of the youth center. As soon as he was gone, Luis shut the door and Sheridan
was in his arms once again. "I'm so sorry, Luis.." "Hey, don't be.." he
replied cupping her face in his hands and bringing it up to face his. "I'm
just angry with the way he treated you...I know he's my best friend, but I
couldn't stand to see you go through that kind of treatment." he finished. A
tear trickled down Sheridan's face as she gently brushed her lips against
his. He then kissed her passionately once again as he pulled her closer and
closer until it seemed he was one with her. Hank watched through the window
of the door and was astonished at what he saw. "Revenge is the sweetest part
of life." Hank said quietly to himself. Hank got out his cell phone and
dialed. "Hello, Alistair? We need to discuss something....immediately." Hank
said into the phone as he walked out the door of the youth center.
What will Hank do? Will Luis and Sheridan be able to over come all... even
Alistair and Hank? Or will there be more people involved? Find out in

Day Four: Heart to Heart
"Yes, that's right...you're daughter and the cop." Hank said angrily into
the phone. "I'll be there righ away." he finished as he took one last look
at Luis and Sheridan kissing passionately, made a jealous face, and walked
out the youth center. "Luis..." "Yes?" "We really shouldn't do this...what
about Beth?" "What about her?" "I thought you two were a couple now or
something." "We haven't been a couple since highschool. And none of that
matters to me now. Not as long as I have you." "I love you." "I love you too."
Beth scowled at what she saw peering through the window of the room. 'How
dare he?" she yelled at herself. 'You will pay for what you've done to
me...both of you.' she said to herself as she stormed off.
"What do you mean they were kissing, father?" Julian yelled spitting out his
brandy while talking to Alistair on the phone. "That's right, Julian...you
screwed up again." "But I could have sworn--" "Well you thought wrong."
"Wait a minute, how did you find out about this father?" "Not that it's any
of your business, but I have my sources. Now, back to business....I want you
to put an end to this, and NOW! And if you screw up again, I shall return to
Harmony and deal with it myself." Alistair said coldly into the phone before
hanging up. 'Oh don't worry...I'll take care of it.' Julian sternly said to
himself.
Sheridan now sat in between Luis' legs on the couch of the break room as he
held her tightly against him. "Luis...we need to talk." "About what?" he
asked quietly kissing her hair. "About us. I want to know more about you..."
"Ok, but you first." Sheridan's breath got caught up in her throat. She
couldn't tell him about her nightmares...or even worse, what really happened.
Will Hank, Beth, Julian, and/or Alistair try to ruin Luis and Sheridan? Can

Day Five: Lovely Night
Sheridan sat there quiet trying to think of what to say. "Sheridan, what's
wrong?" Luis asked after she was silent. "Oh, it's nothing..." she replied
trying to push it off. "No, something's wrong. Now come on, you can talk to
me...what's wrong?" "It's about my past." "What about it?" "Luis, I.."
Sheridan's voice trailed off. How could she possibly tell Luis that she may
have killed his father? Luis turned her around to face him. Sheridan had
tears streaming down her eyes. "Sheridan, are you ok?" Luis asked
concerened. "I, I--" "Shh...we don't have to talk about this right now."
Luis whispered as he layed her head down on his chest.
(Meanwhile, in the library at the Crane mansion)
"Julian, I have some good news for you." Alistair said through the speaker
phone. "What is it, father?" "My 'personal helpers' have agreed to help you
break Luis and Sheridan apart, forever." "'Personal helpers'? Who are your
'personal helpers', father?" "Why, they are two residents in Harmony..."
Alistair laughed into the phone.(Back in the break room of the Youth Center)
"Oh, Luis..look at the time. Ethan is probably worried sick about me." "Same
with my family...I'll take you home." "Thanks." Sheridan smiled wiping away
the tears from her eyes. "Are you sure you're ok?" Luis asked once again.
"Yes, I'm fine...." Sheridan replied grabbing her jacket as Luis helped her
put it on.(At Sheridan's cottage)
Sheridan led Luis inside her cottage and he asked to use her phone.
"No one's home..." Luis said turning off the phone. "How would you like to
stay here for awhile?" Sheridan asked smiling. "I'd love that." he responded
flashing his killer smile. Sheridan wanted to faint on the spot. He took her
extended arm and pulled her close once again. They kissed romantically for a
few minutes before laying on the couch to continue. 'It looks like it's
going to be a lovely night after all...' Sheridan thought to herself as she
kissed him.

Day Six: Whisper in my Ear
As Luis and Sheridan lay on the couch kissing passionately, two evil shadows
peered through the window. "They will pay for what they have done." one of
the voices of the 'personal helpers' said coldly. "All in good time..." the
other voice sneered as the disappeared into the night.
Luis and Sheridan were now dancing to the music in the background.
It's undeniable,that we should be together.And unbelievable,
how I used to say that I would never.The places to go,
if you don't know just how I feel.And let me show you now that I'm for real.

"It is all taken care of now, Julian." "I thought I was going to handle this
one, father?" "Not after you screwed up last time." "Thank you for the
encouragement, father." Julian replied sarcastically. Julian took another
swig at his brandy as he sat down in his chair. "So father, how did you
handle the Luis and Sheridan problem?" "You'll find out...all in time my son."
Luis and Sheridan now lay on her bed with her back to him and his arms
around her waist and her hands holding his. "I love you.." she whispered in
the dark. "Luis?" Sheridan asked turning around to look into his eyes.
"Yes?" he replied pulling her even closer to him with his arms now around
her back and her arms against his chest. "About earlier at the youth
center--" "Let's not talk about that right now..." Luis cut her off. "Are
you sure?" she asked with a faint smile on her face. "Yes, I'm sure...all I
want to do is hold you here in my arms, forever." Sheridan smiled as she
rest her head on his chest. "I love you, Sheridan Crane..." Luis whispered
softly in her ear before she slipped off to sleep.

Day Seven: Unbearable Pain
Sheridan woke up with Luis' arms still tightly around her. She smiled as she
softly kissed his lips. Luis slowly woke up to find Sheridan close to him
and watching him sleep. "Luis?" she asked quietly once he was fully awake.
"Yes?" he replied. "I love you too." Luis smiled as she said this and pulled
her even closer to him then they already were. They then kissed passionately
for a few minutes. "Sheridan.." "Yes?" she said between breaths. "I know
that your father, brother, Hank and Beth will never agree with us..."
"Luis--" she started to say but was cut off by him. "If anything or anyone
were to ever take you away from me, I don't know what I would do...that be a
pain that would be unbearable." Sheridan smiled after he finished and kissed
him romantically. "Oh, Luis...I feel the same way. But as long as we're in
love, it doesn't matter what my father, brother, Hank or Beth think! If we
really love eachother...then our love will overcome all of that." she said.
Luis smiled and held her in his arms for a few minutes before they got out
of bed.(Peering through the window of Sheridan's cottage into the bedroom)
"So they slept together..." one of the 'personal helpers' voices said
furiously. He/She then cursed under his/her breath. "Calm down, it doesn't
look that way to me.." the other voice said. "What? What do you mean?" "They
still have their clothes on...maybe they fell asleep." "Oh, so now you're
taking their side?" "NO!! I am just trying to be reasonable...one of us has
to be!" "FINE!" the other yelled back accidently hitting his/her hand on the
window. "You idiot!" the other yelled at him/her as he/she made them duck.
"Did you hear something?" Luis asked as he looked around the room. "No.."
Sheridan responded walking out of the living room and into her bedroom. "I
could have sworn I heard a thump." Luis said as he walked over to the
window. "Let's get out of here!" One of the voices yelled under his/her
breath at the other. As they started to run off quietly, the second one
tripped and yelled "Oof..." as he/she hit the ground. The other then ran
back to get the first, but heard Luis coming out the door and ran for
him/her self. "Come back here you fool!" The first one yelled as he/she lay
helplessly on the ground. "Don't make another move." Luis said as he put his
gun on the persons back. And just as he flipped him over, he was shocked at
who he saw...

Day Eight: Stay With Me Tonight
Luis, pinning down the person, flipped them over to face him and was shocked
at who he saw. "Hank? What in the hel--" Luis started to say as Sheridan
came up to him. "Sheridan, I told you to stay inside..." Luis said taking
her hand as he held Hank down. "I got worried..so I came outside to see what
was happening..." Sheridan replied sweetly as she knelt down beside him. She
was wearing a blue morning glory dress and she took Luis' breath away. She
was wearing no coat, and even though it hadn't snowed in the whole month of
February yet, it was still cold. He took off his jacket and placed it on her
shoulders. "Thank you.." she whispered as she squeezed his hand. He almost
forgot Hank was there until he fidgeted. "So, what's going on he--oh my God!
Hank? What are you doing here?" Sheridan gasped as she saw him trying to
wiggle free with no hope. "You know the noise I told you I heard?" Luis
asked waving his hand at Hank.
(At the police station)
It was almost 7 hours later until Sam told Luis that he could take Sheridan
home. "I just can't believe my own brother won't even admit what he was
doing at Sheridan's cottage watching you two. All he does is mumble
something about 'They will pay for what they have done.'" Sam sighed before
letting Luis and Sheridan go.
(Back at Sheridan's cottage)
Sheridan's eyes were wide open with fear. 'What was Hank doing outside of
her window? How much did he see? Was he the only one there?' All these
thoughts raced through her mind as she sat on her bed and placed her face in
her hands. "Sheridan...are you ok?" Luis asked concerned as he knelt in
front of her and took her hand in his. "Oh, Luis..." she cried. "What if
Hank--" "Sheridan, it will be ok...I promise." Luis assured her. Sheridan
let a faint smile escape as they stood up and hugged. "Is there anything I
can do for you?" Luis asked her. "Yes...there is one thing." Sheridan
replied staring intensly into his liquid brown eyes. "Anything." Luis
smiled. "Stay with me tonight... please don't leave me..." Sheridan
whispered in his ear while tears flew down her eyes. "You didn't have to ask
me that..." Luis muttered in her soft hair. Luis called his mother and told
her what was going on so she wouldn't worry about where he was, and then he
returned to Sheridan in her bedroom, whom was fast asleep. Luis smiled as he
climbed in bed next to her, and held her in his arms, where she belonged...
Who was the other 'personal helper' with Hank? Will they continue to go
after Luis and Sheridan by themselve, or will they be to afraid to get
caught like Hank? Will Alistair and Julian find a new way to tear apart Luis
and Sheridan? Will Luis and Sheridan's love continue to grow? Can Luis
protect her from all harm? Will their love survive all the obstacles they

Day Nine: Forever In Your Eyes
Sheridan awoke and felt Luis' breath on her neck and going down her back. It
gave her a wonderful feeling to have him so close. She turned around to face
him and she brushed her cheek against his face. "I love you..." she
whispered silently in the dark of the room. Sheridan tried to crawl out of
bed, hesitant as she was, but Luis pulled her closer to his chest. Sheridan
giggled as Luis opened his eyes and flashed his killer smile. Her heart
melted as he pulled her into a deep kiss. She then tried to get out of bed
again, but Luis playfully held her close to him not wanting to let her go
just yet. "Luis..." she moaned. "And where do you think you're going?" Luis
smiled. "Nowhere now that you're awake." she smiled back. "I love you very
much, Sheridan." Luis replied as he ran his hand slowly over her back.
(Meanwhile, in the Crane mansion)
"JULIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!" Alistair's voice yelled furiously over the phone
surprising Julian so much that it made him spit out his brandy. "Yes, what
is it, father?!?" Julian asked running over to the phone. "One of my
'personal helpers' was arrested yesterday!" Alistairs voice said booming
through the speaker phone. Julian ran his hand down his face. "Well, what
can I do about it, father?" "You can start by helping my other 'personal
helper' get the job done that the first one can not do now." Alistair said
coldly.
(Back at Sheridan's cottage)
Sheridan had now showered and changed into some fresh clothes (Luis finally
let her up...unwillingly of course..lol!). She once again took Luis' breath
away. He couldn't believe how beautiful she was. Sheridan was wearing a
black dress that went down to her knees (kinda like the one she wore for
their second tango). "God, you're beautiful..." Luis grinned as he placed
his hands around her hips and pulled her close to him. Sheridan smiled as
she took the curve of his neck and kissed him passionately. After Luis took
a shower and they ate breakfast, he decided to call Sam and his family to
check up on them. Hanging up the phone, Luis smiled and said that Sam said
he didn't have to come to work today because of all the stuff they went
through yesterday. He said that no one had answered at his house, because
Theresa and Miguel were probably at school and Pilar was probably out
shopping, so he left a message on the machine. So now they had the whole day
to spend together. Sheridan smiled at the news, and closed the gap between
them. He pulled her closer and closer to him, and she pulled him even closer
to her. They shared a most romantic kiss, and they stood for what seemed
forever, staring into eachothers eyes...

Day Ten: Rush of Mixed Emotions
Sheridan had to go out to run some errands. Luis could not come with her
because it would look suspicious. So, Luis decided to wait for her in her
cottage. She lightly brushed her lips against his, whispered goodbye, and
left.
(At Beth's house)
Beth was furious that Luis and Sheridan were together. She paced back in
forth in circles trying to think of what to do when suddenly, the phone
rang. "WHAT?!?" she yelled quite annoyed. "Beth..it's me, Hank..." "Hank?
Wh-what are you doing calling me? Where have you been these last few days?"
"I got caught by robo-cop and his 'girlfriend'. You should have seen them
Beth..it was disgusting." "Oh, Hank...you poor thing...how's the food in
jail?" Beth asked seriously being the dumb brunnette she is. "Forget that
right now Beth...I was visited by Julian Crane today. He's going to help you
finish what we started." "But Hank, I don't want to go on now. I'm scared
I'll get caught too!" Beth whined like the diaper baby she is (lol...sorry,
I LOVE making fun of Beth!). "Listen to me, Beth...you have to....you still
want Luis, don't you?" "Of course I do, but--" "Then let Julian help you!"
and with that, Hank hung up the phone leaving an aggitated Beth.
(Back at Sheridan's cottage)
Sheridan walked into the house and threw her purse on the couch. She hated
being away from Luis. All the lights were off, but there were two candles
lit. She walked to the first candle, and read a card that said "Go to the
second candle." 'What second candle?' she thought to herself when she saw it
glowing in her room. She walked to her bedroom to find a card that said
"Turn around." As soon as she did, Luis pulled her to him and kissed her
passionately. When they pulled away to breathe, they stared intensly into
eachothers eyes. 'I've never felt this way about anyone before...' Sheridan
thought to herself. "Luis....this was so sweet of you." she smiled.
"Anything for you.." Luis replied flashing his killer smile that made her
whole body get weak. "Thank you." she whispered in his ear before kissing
him romantically. They then made love for the first time and now Sheridan
layed with Luis' arms securily around her as she slept. 'I've never felt
this way about anyone before...' he thought to himself as he kissed her
hair. The next day, Luis was called into work for the youth center, and he
kissed her goodbye.
(At the youth center)
Beth was ready to put her plan in action. As soon as Luis walked in the door
(which was quite early, no one else was there yet), she walked up to him.
"Hi Beth, how are yo--" Luis started to say but was cut off by Beth kissing
him deeply.
Sheridan had noticed Luis forgot his watch, so she walked into the youth
center doors and was crushed by what she saw. Just last night, her and Luis
had made love, and here he was kissing Beth. Luis pushed Beth off of him,
but Sheridan was already gone. She was bawling and almost had a wreck on her
way home. "What in Gods name is wrong with you, Beth?!?!?" Luis yelled. "Oh
come on...you know you want me, Luis." Beth replied seductivly. "Whatever we
had is over, Beth! Move on with your life....get over it!" Luis yelled
furiously at her before leaving the youth center. Beth was in a fit of rage
when he left...he did not fall for her plan. But she did manage to see
Sheridan watching them out of the corner of her eye. "Maybe our plan will
work after all, Julian.." Beth smiled evily.
(Back at Sheridans cottage)
All Luis could think about was seeing Sheridan..he had to see her. "You're
never going to believe what just happened to me, Sheridan... Sheridan?" Luis
said coming in the door and noticing Sheridan on the couch with her face
buried and her hands and bawling. "Sheridan, what's wrong?" Luis asked
concerned as he walked over to her. "DON'T TOUCH ME YOU JERK!" Sheridan
screamed at the top of her lungs throwing his hand off of her shoulder.
"Huh? What are you talking abo--" Luis puzzingly started to say but was cut
off by having to duck from the vase Sheridan threw at his head. "Hey! Watch
it!" Luis said as he raised back up. "How could you? How could you do this
to me, Luis?" Sheridan cried. She was shaking so bad that she collapsed.
Luis knelt down beside her and tried to calm her. "Sheridan...what's wrong?
Please tell me..." Luis asked with his own eyes welling up in his eyes. They
were both having a rush of mixed emotions right now that they didn't know
what to do but hold eachother.
Will Sheridan learn the truth about what happened with Luis and Beth? Will
Beth and Julian get away with it? Will Sheridan be able to trust Luis again?

Day Eleven: Just Hold Me
Sheridan shook from crying so much as she now sat on the ground with Luis,
in his arms. Luis was now letting the tears that were welled up in his eyes
flow. The way she was acting was really starting to scare him...he cared so
much for her. "Please talk to me....I am begging you Sheridan..." Luis cried
squeezing her hand gently. Sheridan continued crying and shaking in his
arms. She couldn't talk...she was too choked up. Sheridan did not push Luis
away from her though. Perhaps it was because she was to weak to. Or maybe it
was because she did not believe what she had seen.
(Julians office)
"Great news, father...the plan with Beth worked." Julian celebrated by
chugging another bottle of brandy. "Excellent Julian. For once in your
pointless life, you have not failed me." Alistair replied. Beth sat in
Julians office chair listening to the conversation. She was so happy that
this would tear Luis and Sheridan apart for good.
(Back at Sheridan's cottage)
Sheridan finally stopped shaking and was able to speak, and she told Luis
what she saw. Luis told her what had really happened, but she was still
mad...no matter what, she just couldn't shake the feeling that Luis was
keeping something from her. Sheridan tried to get up from him, but she fell
down into Luis' lap. He caught her with her arms falling around his neck,
his arms grabbing her waist, and their faces centimeters apart as they
stared deeply into eachothers eyes. Luis didn't attempt to kiss her
though...he knew that she was still in doubt. But Sheridan didn't feel the
same way, so she kissed him passionately. She knew once she looked into his
liquid brown eyes that what she had seen could not have been for real.
Sheridan figured that Beth probably saw her and made it look like they were
sharing a passionate moment. After Luis and Sheridan pulled away, they
stared intensly into eachothers eyes. "Sheridan, I thought--" Luis started
to say puzzingly even though he did enjoy kissing her and only her once
again. "I knew the instant I looked into your eyes that it couldn't be
true..." she interrupted with tears stinging her eyes. Luis hugged her while
whispering "I love you...and don't you ever forget that." in her ear. She
smiled and they spent the next few hours sitting on the ground, Sheridan
with Luis' arms wrapped around her just talking. Sheridan then looked up at
the time and realized how late it was. "Luis...it's 12:30 am..you should be
getting home." Sheridan sighed hesitantly, she did not want Luis to go. "I
need to make a phone call.." Luis said getting up and leaving a confused
Sheridan on the ground. She listened to what he was saying. "Hello? Mama...I
need you to do me a favor. I want you to call the youth center, and the
police station and tell them I'm going away on a trip and not to call me
under any circumstances. Yes, that's right, a trip. I'll call and tell you
when I get back...but please, don't try to call me. Ok, love you too,
mama...bye." Luis hung up he phone and saw a smiling Sheridan standing next
to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer to her. He
ran his hands over her back and pulled her even tighter to him. "Thank
you.." she whispered against his lips before kissing him deeply. They spent
the night together (I won't get all graphic here...lol), and planned to go
ice skating the next day.
Will Julian and Beth find out that their plan did not work and continue to
scheme? Will Luis and Sheridan be able to grow closer, or will Julian, Hank,
Beth, and Alistair suceed? Will Luis and Sheridan's time alone together help

Day Twelve: Lay The Winter, On The Ground
It was the evening, and Sheridan decided to go see Ethan at the mansion.
(At the mansion)
Sheridan walked into the main room only to see Julian drinking yet another
glass of brandy. "Good evening, Julian." Sheridan smiled. "What are you so
smiley about?" Julian asked, obviously drunk. "I know what you had Beth do
to tear me and Luis apart...well, it didn't work." Sheridan replied. "IT
WHAT?!?!?" Julian yelled slamming his now empty glass of brandy on his desk.
"That's right...it only brought us closer together.." Sheridan smiled
starting to walk off. "YOU LISTEN TO ME.." Julian screamed in her face
turning her around. "If you continue this little fiasco with Luis
Lopez-Fitzgerald, I swear upon mothers grave that I will kill him. And you
had better not mention this to him or anyone...or else." Julian said coldly
and evily into her face. This frightened Sheridan, and she ran out of the
mansion crying.
(Back at Sheridan's cottage)
Sheridan walked into her cottage with tears stinging her eyes. Luis saw this
and walked over to her. "Sheridan? What's wrong? What is it?" he asked
concerned. "Luis...it's us..." Sheridan now cried and started shaking in his
arms once again. "What about us?" he muttered in her hair trying to calm
her. "Luis...I don't think we should see eachother anymore.." Sheridan cried
as she saw the pain in his eyes. "I'm so sorry.." she bawled running into
her room. Luis ran after her, but Sheridan locked the door. Luis now had
tears of his own welled up in his eyes, but he knew the best thing to do was
to give her some time alone. He grabbed his jacket and left.
Sheridan needed to get out of the house. So, she decided to go ice skating
by herself.
(Luis' car)
Luis needed to do something to take his mind off Sheridan. So, he decided to
go ice skating by himself. He arrived at the pond (it was cold enough for it
to freeze over, but there was still no snow) and saw a figure skating. "Oh
great...that's all I need right now..." he frowned. But as he got closer, he
saw it was Sheridan. He put on his skates, and went up to her. He grabbed
her around the waist from behind and she turned around startled. "Luis! What
are you doing here.." Sheridan asked. "I was about to ask you the same
thing.." he replied. "Well I was just about to leave..." Sheridan said
skating away from him. "No..Sheridan, wait.." Luis called grabbing her hand.
"Luis...please don't do this to me right now.." Sheridan said with tears
welling up in her eyes once again. "Do this to you? What about what you did
to me? What is going on, Sheridan?" Luis responded. "I just don't want to
hurt you..." Sheridan cried as tears flowed down her cheeks. Luis rubbed her
face gently wiping away the tears with his hand. "I have to go.." she wept
turning her back to him and starting to skate away. "I love you, Sheridan
Crane.." he called out to her. Sheridan turned around with tears flowing
uncontrollably. "Then let me go, Luis.." she bawled helplessly. "I can't do
that." Luis replied with tears streaming down his face. "WHY! Why can't you
do that?" Sheridan asked while weeping and flinging her arms around her.
"Because you love me too...forever and always..." "Don't you get it, Luis? I
am letting you go because I love you!" Sheridan loudly responded while
flinging her arms around. "True love always comes back.." Luis said skating
towards her. "Not this time...I'm sorry Luis...so very sorry..." Sheridan
cried as she skated away from him. But suddenly, it started snowing. She
stopped skating and turned around to see Luis staring intensly at her.
"Please don't leave, Sheridan...don't you see? It's winter...our time to be
together." Luis said skating up to her and taking her hands in his as the
snow fell on and all around them. "But winters fade." Sheridan replied
trying to fight back tears. "Then leave the winter on the ground.." Luis
begged her squeezing her hands gently.

Day Thirteen: Forever And Always
Sheridan couldn't take it. She couldn't stand to hurt Luis. He wrapped his
arms around her waist and pulled her close as she cried. "I'm so sorry,
Luis..." she whispered in his ear as she wept. "I know you probably don't
want to talk right now, but we need to. I know you Sheridan...I know you
wouldn't do that to me unless someone forced you to. Who was it, Sheridan?
Please tell me." Luis said staring intensly into her tearful eyes. Sheridan
remembered what Julian had said about if she told anyone. She didn't want
anything to happen to him...to them. "Can we please talk tomorrow?" Sheridan
replied wiping tears from her eyes. "Anything you want.." Luis responded.
Sheridan let out a faint smile as they skated off the ice together, hand in
hand.
(Julian's office)
"I threatened her, father...there's no way she will see him again." Julian
said into the speaker phone as he indulged in his brandy. "Don't be so
idiotic, Julian...you have no idea what true love can do." Alistair yelled
through the speaker phone. "You think what Luis and Sheridan have is true
love? Don't be sil-" "Don't question me, Julian. True love is not a good
thing...of course, you wouldn't know a thing about real love." Alistair
coldly interrupted.
(Back to Luis and Sheridan)
They decided to drive around for awhile to talk. Suddenly, Luis car stopped
and wouldn't start up again. "Great..we're in the middle of nowhere and my
car decides to stop." "Listen..the radio still works." Sheridan said turning
it up to full blast and taking Luis out of the car to dance with her.

As the song ended the car radio went out too. But that didn't stop Luis and
Sheridan from holding on to eachother. They stood, with snow falling all
around them, in eachothers arms. Sheridan stared deeply into Luis' eyes and
he did the same to her. "I love you, Sheridan Crane.." "I love you
too..forever and always..." And for a few moments, they kissed passionately
never wanting to stop. They decided to walk to Sheridan's cottage and use
her phone to call someone to tow away Luis' car. After Luis called, he lit a
fire, and Sheridan and he lay curled up on the couch together. They had no
blanket to keep them warm, only eachother. And that's all they needed.

Day Fourteen: Forever Mine
"You have failed me again, Julian. And I'm sick of it." "What do you mean,
father?" "Let Sheridan ruin her life...if she wants to be the housewife of a
police man, let her." "You mean we're just going to give up?" Julian asked
in shock after spitting out his brandy all over his desk once again.
"There's nothing we can do now...they have.. they have..Julian, what are
those two stupid words foolish people use when they want to spend the rest
of their miserable lives together?" Alistair asked. "True love?" Julian
responded. "Yes..that..it makes me want to hurl at the sound of it."
Alistair replied pretending to gag. Julian sat back in his chair not happy,
but relieved that he had no more problems.
(At Sheridan's cottage)
Sheridan's eyes fluttered open, but she didn't feel Luis' arms around her.
When she turned over and reached for him, he wasn't there.
(At the Youth Center)
Luis awoke suddenly to the sound of the last person leaving. He looked
around for Sheridan, but she wasn't there.
(Back at Sheridan's cottage)
Sheridan's phone rang about two hours later after she had taken a shower and
changed and she ran to it. "Hello?" she said in a heartbeat. "Sheridan...I
need you to come to the youth center.." Luis replied normally into the
phone. "I'll be right over.." Sheridan said quietly into the phone before
hanging up. She grabbed her jacket and headed for the youth center.
(Back at the youth center)
All Sheridan could think about on the way there was if she had dreamed the
whole thing. 'God please tell me it's not true..please tell me it really
happened.' she thought to herself as she walked in the door of the youth
center only to see Luis waiting for her. "Sheridan...I'm glad you came."
Luis said taking her hand. At first Sheridan was stunned that he took her
hand so suddenly, but she didn't mind. It felt so right for his hand to be
holding hers. He led her to a very little room with cabinets. 'Oh my
God...this room was in my may-or-may-not-be dream..' she gasped as he led
her in, still holding her hand may I add. After they dropped hands, they
moved apart, but not too far...because the room was very tiny. They were
touching, but barely. Sheridan longed to have him hold her in his arms. "So,
um, Luis..what did you need me here for?" Sheridan finally managed to say
which broke the silence. "Want some hot chocolate?" Luis asked ignoring her
question. "Sure.." Sheridan sighed uncomfortably. Something did not seem
right. "The cups are in that top cabinet by you..can you get them while I
get the mix?" Luis asked watching her intensly. "Ok." Sheridan replied
turning around and stretching her arm to get the cups. Instead, she found a
small black box. With her back to Luis, she took it out and closed the
cabinet. She could feel Luis staring at her back, and she got weak. Sheridan
turned around to find Luis' arms on both sides of her, leaning towards her,
and not allowing her to get away (Who would run away from him though? lol).
"Open it.." Luis smiled. Sheridan opened her mouth to say something but
closed it and opened the box. "Oh my God...it's beautiful..." Sheridan
gasped as she pulled out a silver ring with a sapphire set in the middle of
it. "Read the inscription." Luis said still staring deeply into her eyes.
Sheridan read the inscription which said "I love you..forever and always..".
Tears welled up in her eyes as she stared intensly into Luis's. "Thank
you.." she replied with her breath caught in her throat. "It's a promise
ring...I want you to promise me you'll be forever mine." Luis said
hopefully. "A thousand times yes.." Sheridan sighed as she smiled sweetly.
Luis then flashed his killer smile, which made her even weaker. "I had the
most amazing dream last night.." Luis whispered, his lips inches from her as
he pulled her even closer to him. "Me too..I guess I was hoping it wasn't a
dream." Sheridan responded smiling but Luis could see the hurt in her eyes.
"It doesn't have to be.." Luis smiled. Sheridan's eyes sparkled once again,
and Luis pulled her into a passionate kiss. "Come on..I have something to
show you.." Luis said taking her hand and leading her to the gym after they
hesitantly pulled apart. "Why Luis, I don't recall this part of the dream.."
Sheridan laughed. "We're making our own dreams tonight." Luis grinned.
Sheridan smiled sweetly back at him. Once they reached the inside of the
gym, Sheridan's eyes once again welled up with tears. "Luis.." she said
looking back at him. "Happy Valentine's day." he smiled. In the center of
the gym sat a table and a candle-lit dinner for two. And in the center of
the table a dozen jasmin (yes, I know..I stole that flower idea from Ivy and
Sam!) flowers. "It's so beautiful.." Sheridan told him as he helped her in
her seat. "Not half as beautiful as you." Luis flashed his killer smile.
After they ate a long leisurely dinner together, Luis turned on the radio
and extended his arm to Sheridan. "May I have this dance, Ms. Crane?" Luis
smiled. Sheridan had a big smile and said "I'd love to dance with you.." and
took his hand. They danced to their song (from the dream) called "Because
you love me" by Jo Dee Messina. After it ended, they stayed their, staring
deeply into eachothers eyes, and holding on tightly to eachother as if they
hadn't been held by eachother in years. "Luis...if that was all a
dream..does that mean we haven't made.." Sheridan trailed off as she
blushed. "No...you're thinking of tonight." Luis flashed his killer smile,
and they kissed passionately, and neither wanting to stop.
