As soon as Sheridan got home, she completely passed out in her bed still wearing the clothes she had on at the bar. The next morning, sunlight was pouring into her room arousing her from her night of drunken sleep.
Sheridan: Oh for the love of God! My head is pounding and I smell like a brewery. Now I have to go to the Youth Center and work for the slave driver all day. Wait, there's something I'm forgetting about last night I'm sure of it. Could it be that Luis and I got along? Yes, and we…we have…we have plans tonight. Ethan will never believe this one! Well I'd better get ready for work.
Sheridan hurries around to get herself ready. She throws on a pair of jeans and a white fitted T-shirt. She decides to get some coffee at the Book Café for herself and Luis before she heads over to the Youth Center.
At the Youth Center, Luis is talking to Theresa before she has to leave for school.
Luis: Theresa, I cannot believe that I actually asked Sheridan Crane out on a date. I mean, can you believe that? I bet that's something you never thought would happen in a million years, huh?
Theresa: I think that's great, Luis. I told you there was good in that family. Now, maybe you'll lighten up on the fact that I have a crush on Ethan. (Theresa smiled sweetly at her big brother hoping that it would help.)
Luis: (Luis smiled at his sister's attempt.) One thing at a time, Theresa, one thing at a time. Do you think that I'm making a big mistake by taking Sheridan out? I mean, you know how people will talk.
Theresa: Luis, stop it! Just worry about you two and not what everyone else thinks. Since when are you concerned about what others think anyway?
Luis: I'm usually not, but I've just said so often how people from two different worlds couldn't mix and now I almost feel like a hypocrite. But, there's just something about Sheridan that makes me want to forget I ever said any of that.
Theresa: Luis, you are a great person, and any woman, no matter what social class she is from, would be lucky to have you in her life. Never doubt that and don't judge someone because they have money. It's the same thing as them judging us because we don't.
Luis goes up to Theresa and gives her a big bear hug.
Luis: I love you, Theresa. When did you all of a sudden grow up and become so wise?
Theresa: Well, I think that I had a good role model at home. Now, will you let me go, I'm gonna be late for school. Have a great day and an even better night. (She raises her eyebrows hinting at him)
Luis: Okay, okay. I'm not ready for you to be that mature. Now get to school. Have a good day.
Theresa: Bye big brother.
Theresa turns to leave and she sees Sheridan coming into the Youth Center carrying coffee and some muffins.
Theresa: Hi Sheridan.
Sheridan: Good morning, Theresa. Are you on your way to school?
Theresa: Yeah, just wanted to see Luis before I went. I don't get to see him too often. So, I hear you two have a date tonight. What is this lovely new development?
Sheridan blushes slightly and looks down at the ground.
Sheridan: I'm not sure exactly. I mean, it's all sorta fuzzy to me, but I know I saw a new side to your brother last night. So, I guess we'll see what happens.
Theresa: Well, good luck. He's a really great guy. I know that he barks a lot, but he's harmless. Have fun tonight. I really have to get going before I'm late to first period again. See ya!
Sheridan: Bye.
Sheridan walks in and sees Luis reading his newspaper at his desk. He hasn't seen her walk in yet, and she just looks at him for a moment. He's wearing jeans and a black T-shirt, and Sheridan finally takes notice to how gorgeous he is.
Sheridan: 'Wow! Luis looks amazing today. I mean, who would have thought a black T-shirt could look so good. What is happening here? If someone told me a week ago that I'd be looking at Luis this way and that we'd be going on a date, I would have laughed in their face. But, there's something about him.'
Sheridan decides she better give him the coffee she bought him before it gets cold.
Sheridan: Good morning.
Luis: Hey there champ. How are you feeling this morning?
Sheridan looks embarrassed
Sheridan: Well, I've been better, but I got us some coffee, so hopefully that will help me. Here you go. I got you a blueberry muffin too.
Luis: Thank you. How did you know these were my favorite?
Sheridan: Lucky guess. So, uh, last night…
Luis: Yeah?
Sheridan: Interesting evening huh?
Luis just smiled at her however he looked a bit shy at this point like he for once didn't know quite what to say.
Luis: Yeah, you could say that. Do you remember what happened last night? (He really hoped that she would because he wasn't sure what he'd do if she said she didn't)
Sheridan: Well, I remember leaving here, and that I was upset about Hank. I know I went to the bar and there was A LOT OF BOOZE! I remember some creep hitting on me, and you rescued me from that situation and drove me home.
Luis looked disappointed, but tried to cover it up.
Luis: Let's not forget the outstanding performance on the loud speaker. (He laughed at remembering this)
Sheridan: Oh God! How embarrassing. (She buried her face in her hands, but then she looked up again.) I do remember something else about last night.
Luis: Oh you did? And what would that be, Miss Crane?
Sheridan: That we have a date tonight.
Sheridan caught Luis's eye and they both smiled at each other.
Luis: Whew! Ya had me going there for a minute Crane. But, yes, you're right. We do have plans tonight. That is, if you still want to go.
Sheridan: Yes, I want to go. I'm looking forward to it, actually.
Luis: Great. Now, let's finish this coffee and get some work done.
Sheridan: Okay, you're the boss.
Luis and Sheridan finish their coffee and head into the gym where they have painting to do.
Sheridan: Painting today huh?
Luis: Yup…you up for it?
Sheridan: I'm up for anything, Officer.
Luis: Good, let's get started.
They both began their painting and throughout the process, kept stealing glances when they thought the other wasn't looking. Both were getting nervous yet very excited about what was awaiting them tonight. Both were still a little in shock that they were going on a date together, but it didn't feel wrong. For some reason, all that happened in the past seemed just that-in the past. What tonight would hold for them, only time would tell, but both knew they couldn't wait!
Sheridan: There! I'm finished! (She stood back and admired her work)
Luis: Not bad, Crane. You better be careful. If you keep doing work this well, I might have trouble letting you go when your community service hours are up. 'God, did I just say that out loud? Don't be so obvious you big oaf!'
Sheridan: (Smiled at his comment) Well you know…I'm a woman of many talents. 'Sheridan! Don't be so transparent. He's just a man that you have a date with tonight. Okay, so he's a very HOT man that you have a date with tonight…oh, just stop it!'
Luis: I see that. So, how 'bout I pick you up around 7:00 tonight?
Sheridan: That sounds good. Where are we going anyway?
Luis: It's a surprise.
Sheridan: Well, can I at least have a hint? I need to know what I should wear.
Luis: 'You could wear a bed sheet and look amazing! Luis, stop it man. You'll never be able to get through tonight if you keep this up!' Well, nothing too fancy. All I can tell you is that we'll be outside.
Sheridan: Hmm…interesting. What do you have up your sleeve, Officer?
Luis: You'll just have to wait until tonight. (He smiled his million-dollar smile)
Sheridan: 'That smile makes me weak in the knees…I can't wait until tonight.' Okay. Well…until then.
Luis: Yeah, until then.
Sheridan: Bye!
Luis: Bye!
Sheridan was driving home and she just couldn't get Luis off her mind. She still couldn't believe that they were going on a date. More than that, she was profoundly clueless as to why he was having such an effect on her after one night of friendly interaction.
Sheridan: 'I wonder what he is planning for tonight. Well, regardless of the fact that we're going to be outside, I have to find something cute to wear.'
Luis was still at the Youth Center closing things up when his mind wandered to Sheridan. He couldn't believe that they were actually going out on a date. A Crane and a Lopez-Fitzgerald-who would have guessed that? He couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful she looked today. And he hoped that tonight would be wonderful.
Luis: 'Man, Sheridan sure knows how to make jeans and a T-shirt look good. I can't wait to see her tonight. Should I buy her some flowers? Would she think I was being corny or trying to hard if I did? Luis, you've been on lots of dates in your life…why is this one scaring you so much?' Probably because she's more special than any of the girls…women, I've ever known.
Hank had walked into the Youth Center while Luis was thinking out loud and sneaked up behind him.
Hank: Somethin' you wanna share with the rest of the class there buddy?
Luis: Good Lord, Hank! Don't sneak up on a person like that…it does bad things to them.
Hank: (Laughs at Luis) Okay, man, I'm sorry. So, who are you so worked up about that the original Don Juan of Harmony is second-guessing himself? Whoever it is, she must be somethin'!
Luis: Yes, she is.
Hank: Well, don't keep me in suspense. Who is it?
Luis: Sheridan.
Hank: Sheridan? Sheridan Crane?
Luis: Yes, Sheridan Crane. I am assuming you don't mind since you're with Beth now.
Hank: Wh-what? What are you talking about?
Luis: Sheridan said she saw you two yesterday outside the Book Café. So, I guess congratulations are in order.
Hank: Luis, I never wanted you to find out this way. I also never meant to hurt Sheridan, but Beth and I really have this amazing connection…it's hard to explain.
Luis: Don't sweat it, Hank. What Beth and I had was over a long time ago. And I guess I should thank you.
Hank: Thank me for what?
Luis: Well, if it wasn't for you and Beth, Sheridan and I wouldn't be going on a date tonight.
Hank: I'm not following.
Luis: Well, to make a long story short…Sheridan got drunk last night at the bar, and I had to save her from being manhandled by Nick Cooper. Anyway, I drove her home and I asked her out. Somewhere between insulting her for being at our bar and seeing Nick hanging on her, I fell like a ton of bricks for her.
Hank: Man, that's great! I'm really happy for you both. Sheridan is a great person…I always thought that you two would make a great couple someday.
Luis: How did you figure that? We were at each other's throats the majority of the time.
Hank: Yes, but you guys bickered way too intensely for it to be actual hatred. I knew. I just knew it was better for you to figure it out than for me to tell you.
Luis: Thanks. Well, I gotta get ready for our date tonight.
Hank: Alright man! Have fun. Don't do anything I wouldn't do.
Hank and Luis both leave the Youth Center, and Luis drives home to get ready for his first date with Sheridan.
Sheridan was in her cottage rummaging through her closet trying to figure out what to wear.
Sheridan: No. No. Ugly. No. Boring. Ugh! Why can't I find anything to wear? Sheridan just get it together. Luis is going to be here soon and you have to get ready. I'm really glad that I have a date and I won't have to talk to myself the whole night. J
Sheridan put on dark, bootleg jeans and a fitted red sweater. She threw on her black, zip up boots and went to put on her makeup and fix her hair. Meanwhile, Luis was driving over to her house and wondering what tonight would hold for them. He was so nervous yet excited at the same time. When he got to Sheridan's house, he hesitated a second to catch his breath and calm himself down.
Luis: 'Okay Lopez-Fitzgerald…you can do this. Just don't do anything stupid. Deep breath. Here we go.'
Luis knocked on the door and waited for Sheridan to answer. When she did, they both felt as if time stood still as they looked at each other. Sheridan couldn't get over how great Luis looked. He had on a gray sweater, jeans and a black leather jacket. Sheridan was the first one to break the silence.
Sheridan: Hi (she said nervously)
Luis: Hi. I brought this for you. (He pulled out a single daisy from behind his back for her.)
Sheridan: (Smiled at his sweet gesture and tried not to blush) Thank you.
Luis: You look great by the way.
Sheridan: (Couldn't help but blush now) Thank you, Luis, so do you.
Luis: Thanks. So…are you ready to go?
Sheridan: Yeah, just let me grab my jacket.
She grabbed her jacket and they left for their date. Luis opened the car door for her and helped her inside. Once inside, Sheridan began getting inquisitive about the plans that lie ahead.
Sheridan: So, Officer, where are we going this evening? I've been dying to know all day.
Luis: You'll find out soon enough. He looked in the mirror to make sure the picnic basket was hidden in the back seat.
Sheridan: Come on…not even a little hint? Please?!
Luis: (Laughs at her child like pleading) Okay…we're going to eat and then we're going somewhere that's lots of fun.
Sheridan: (She smirks at his secretive nature) Well, that narrows it down.
They continued to drive for awhile before they reached their destination. Sheridan was still bugging Luis about what they were doing, but he wouldn't relent. Luis finally stopped the car in front of this beautiful, secluded piece of land that overlooked the water on one side. There were lots of trees and flowers, and a big fountain in the middle of this piece of land.
Luis: Okay. We're here.
Sheridan was in awe of this place. She had never seen it before.
Sheridan: Luis. This…this place is beautiful.
Luis: Yeah, it is. 'Not as beautiful as you are…Luis, it's too early to start this!' So, are you ready to eat?
Sheridan looked over and saw that he was carrying a picnic basket and a big blanket. She was impressed that he thought of this and touched at how sweet it was.
Sheridan: We're going to have a picnic? I love picnics.
Luis smiled at her and led her over to where they were going to eat. He spread the blanket out and pulled out candles so they could see what they were eating. He then pulled out boxes of Chinese food from the restaurant that Sheridan likes, as well as a bottle of wine. Sheridan was touched at how sweet this whole scene was.
Sheridan: You got Chinese food from my favorite restaurant! How did you know?
Luis: I remembered it from that day you ordered it at the Youth Center. You said how much you liked it, so I figured I'd get it for you.
Sheridan: You are so sweet, Luis.
Luis: Do you want a glass of wine?
Sheridan: Well…actually, Luis…I don't know if I can have anything alcoholic for awhile.
Luis: I figured you might say that, so I brought some sodas as well.
Sheridan: Well, you thought of everything didn't you?
Luis: A guy does what he can, Miss Crane.
Luis and Sheridan ate their dinner and got to know each other better. They were laughing and having a great time-the time seemed to fly by. They were finished eating and were looking at the stars.
Sheridan: God, this place is so beautiful. How did you find it?
Luis: Well, I found it when I was a kid. Theresa and I were riding our bikes around and we found this place. Theresa didn't really think too much of it. But, something about this place made me feel safe. I came here a lot after my father left. I've never shared this place with anyone…until now.
Sheridan: I don't know what to say, Luis. That means a lot that you would share this special place with me. I'm so sorry about your father.
Luis: It was a long time ago, Sheridan. It's not your fault, and I am happy to be sharing this place with you.
Luis looked deeply into Sheridan's eyes and the heat radiated between them. They both felt the connection, and it went without saying. Sheridan knew what was about to happen next. She knew that's what she wanted, but she wasn't sure that now was right. Luis felt the same way. He desperately wanted to kiss her right there, but he was afraid that he wouldn't be able to stop once he did. They needed to get out of there.
Luis: Well, uh, shall we head to our next location?
Sheridan: I think that would be a good idea.
She helped him fold the blanket up and put everything back into the picnic basket. They were walking back to the car and Sheridan stopped to look at this place one more time. She felt so special that Luis would share this place with her. She was having the best night and she didn't want it to end.
Luis: Hey Crane, ya coming?
Sheridan: Yes. I just wanted to put this place into my memory. It's so beautiful, and I feel so honored that you shared this with me. Thank you.
Luis just smiled his most sincere smile at her.
Luis: You're welcome. I'm glad that I got to share it with you, too. Ready to go?
Sheridan: You bet. Now will you PLEASE tell me where we're going now?
Luis: Why, you aren't doubting my abilities to pick out good places for a date now are you, Sheridan?
Sheridan: (Laughs) Oh, of course not, Luis. I'm just curious that's all.
Luis: Well, your curious nature will just have to wait a little bit longer. 'Man this woman is so much different than I had originally thought. I always knew she was beautiful on the outside…I knew that when I didn't even like the woman. I had no idea how beautiful she would be on the inside. I wanted to kiss her so badly back there…I just didn't want to push it. I really don't want this night to end.'
Sheridan: Okay…I can wait. 'Luis is amazing. There's so much more to him than I ever imagined. I knew that his physical appearance had a profound affect on me, but he's amazing inside as well. I'm so lucky that he would share his special place with me. I can't believe he did that. Boy, were we close to kissing back there. I wanted to kiss him so badly back there…I just didn't want to push it. I hope this night never ends.'
They pulled into the parking lot set up for the Harmony Carnival, and Luis turned off the engine.
Luis: We're here.
Sheridan: Where are we going?
Luis: The Carnival, silly. It's one of the best things that happen in Harmony every year.
Sheridan: I've never been.
Luis: Are you serious?
Sheridan: No, I've never been. I was always away a
at boarding school, and then I was living in Paris.
Luis: Well, this will be a new experience for you. (Luis opens the car door for her and offers her his arm.) Now, if you would be so kind as to allow me to escort you to the carnival, Miss Crane.
Sheridan: (Flashes Luis a big grin and takes his arm) I'd be honored, Officer Lopez-Fitzgerald.
Luis was showing Sheridan all of the sights and attractions of the carnival. They went on the Bumper Cars, went through the Fun-House Maze, and played in the ball pit. Sheridan was having a great time at her first carnival. She knew that she was having a great time because of who she was with, and she was thankful that he brought her here.
They were both laughing and carrying on when Luis pulled Sheridan in the direction of the games.
Sheridan: Where are we going?
Luis: I want to play some games.
Sheridan: Is this some sort of macho thing, Luis?
Luis: Well, maybe…but it's fun.
Sheridan: (Laughs at him) Okay, Luis, okay.
Luis wins the game he is playing and gets his pick of stuffed animals.
Luis: You pick, Sheridan.
Sheridan: Hmm…I like the big Scooby Doo.
Luis: Scooby Doo it is then.
The man hands Luis the Scooby Doo, and he hands it to Sheridan.
Luis: For you.
Sheridan: (Gives him a big smile) Thank you. No one has ever won me a stuffed animal before. Hey, let's go on that. (Pointing to the Ferris Wheel)
Luis: Okay, let's go. Sheridan stepped onto the Ferris Wheel first. She almost put Scooby between them, but she knew she'd rather sit close to Luis. Luis was glad that she was sitting so close to him. They were going around on the Ferris Wheel looking at all the sights down below them.
Sheridan: Luis, I'm having the best time tonight. I can't remember the last time I went out and had any real fun. Thank you for brining me here.
Luis: It's my pleasure. I'm so glad that I got to be the one to show you the Carnival. I'm having an amazing time too.
They were right at the very top of the Ferris Wheel when it got stuck.
Luis: Oh man…it looks like were stuck. 'That's a damn shame.'
Sheridan: Yeah it does. 'Too bad for me. This is great.' Brr…it's getting rather chilly.
Luis wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer to him.
Luis: Is that better?
Sheridan felt the electricity shoot through her body as soon as Luis's arm wrapped around her. She definitely didn't want the Ferris Wheel to start moving anytime soon. Luis felt the same thing. He put his arm around her instinctively as if it was the most natural thing to do. He too felt the fire between them and was thankful for whatever was keeping the Ferris Wheel stuck.
Sheridan: Much better, thank you. 'God, I can't believe how good it feels to be in his arms. He smells so good…he's driving me crazy.'
Luis sat next to Sheridan and was inhaling the scent of her perfume and the sweet smell of her hair…it was driving him crazy. Just then Sheridan tilted her head in order to look at his face. His eyes were already on her and met hers with an intense gaze. Sheridan's breath caught in her throat due to the fact that her face was inches from his. Luis swallowed nervously as he continued to look deeply into her eyes. He took his free hand to brush a stray piece of hair out her eyes. He caressed her cheek softly and his eyes shifted from hers to her mouth and back up to her eyes. Sheridan bit her bottom lip nervously as she anticipated what lie ahead. They both couldn't take it anymore and leaned in towards each other. Luis's lips softly brushed against hers before their mouths met in the most heart-stopping kiss either one of them had ever experienced. They were both losing all sense of the world around them. Nothing existed except the two of them in that Ferris Wheel. It seemed as if time was standing still while they continued to explore each other's mouths. Suddenly the Ferris Wheel started moving and jerked them back into reality.
Luis: That was… 'The best kiss of my entire life'
Sheridan: I know… 'Remind me to thank whoever taught you how to do that.'
Sheridan & Luis: Wow!
They looked at each other again and smiled. They continued to look at each other until the Ferris Wheel reached the bottom. They were still gazing when the ride operator shook them from their reverie.
Ride Operator: Hey lovebirds…ya getting off this ride sometime tonight?
Luis: Huh? Oh, sorry.
Sheridan: Yeah, sorry.
Luis grabbed Sheridan's hand and helped her off the ride, and didn't let go. He had Scooby in one hand and Sheridan's hand in the other. Neither of them wanted this night to end, but it was getting late, so they decided it was time to leave. On their way out, Sheridan spotted a photo booth and dragged Luis in that direction.
Sheridan: C'mon Luis. Let's go in here.
Luis: Why?
Sheridan: Because I want a picture that will always remind me of this night.
Luis smiled at her and realized that every minute longer that he spent with her, he was one step closer to falling head over heels for her. They got themselves situated in the booth and put their money in. They decided to get two, so they could each have one. They took some goofy pictures and pictures of them laughing from acting goofy. They stopped laughing and looked deeply into each other's eyes and Luis leaned down and kissed her again. That was the final picture that was taken.
Sheridan grabbed the pictures as soon as they were done so she could see them before Luis did.
Sheridan: Ha! I beat you to them.
Luis: Yeah, well, when you knock a person out of the way, I guess so. (Laughing at her) Let me see them.
Sheridan: Let me look at them first.
As soon as she stopped to look at them, a huge smile spread across her face. She turned to Luis to share them with him.
Sheridan: These are pretty good. I'm glad that we took them.
Luis: Yeah, these are good. (He kept staring at the picture of them kissing and each time he looked at it, he grew increasingly happy.) I'm glad that we took them too. Well, are you ready to go? 'I really don't want to take you home but it is getting late.'
Sheridan: Um, yeah. 'God, Luis, I could stay out here all night with you.'
Luis held out his hand and Sheridan took it and locked her fingers with his. They were walking out of the carnival, oblivious to anyone around them. They walked right past Sam and T.C. without noticing them.
T.C.: Was that Luis…with Sheridan Crane?
Sam: Uh, yes it was. And they were holding hands.
T.C.: How long has this been going on?
Sam: I have no idea, but yesterday I could've sworn that he still despised her.
T.C.: Interesting.
Both of them laughed. They were half shocked, and half expectant that this would happen.
Luis was driving Sheridan home, and she was looking at the pictures that they took. Both of them were thinking how amazing the night had been, when a song on the radio caught Sheridan's attention.
Was it the pull of the moon now baby
That led you to my door
You say the night's got you acting crazy
I think it's something more
I never felt the earth move honey
Until you shook my tree
Nobody runs from the law now baby
Of love and gravity it pulls you so strong
Baby you gotta hold on
If I fall you're going down with me
You're going down with me baby if I fall
You can't take back every little chill you give
You're going down with me baby heart and all ooh yeah
We're hanging right on the edge now baby
The wind is getting stronger
We're hanging on by a thread now honey
We can't hold on my longer
It's a long way down but it's too late
If I fall you're going down with me
You're going down with me baby if I fall
You can't take back every little chill you give me
You're going down with me baby heart and all
Ooh baby I couldn't get any higher
This time I'm willing to dance on the wire
If I fall If I fall
'Cause if I fall you're going down with me
You're going down with me baby if I fall
You can't take back every little chill you give me
You're going down with me baby heart and all

Luis and Sheridan were both thinking about how well this song fit them. As soon as the song was over, Luis pulled into the driveway by Sheridan's cottage. They both sat there not wanting the evening to end. Luis reluctantly got out of the car, but hurried around to open the door for Sheridan. He walked her to the door of her cottage.
Luis: Well, here we are.
Sheridan: Yeah, here we are.
They kept looking at one another wondering what the other was thinking about.
Sheridan: I had a terrific night, Luis. That was the best date. Thank you.
Luis: It was an amazing night, and thank you for going out with me. I know that I haven't always been the easiest to get along with. I know that when you got into town I didn't give you a fair chance and held your last name against you. And…
Sheridan: LUIS!
Luis: What?
Sheridan: Shut up and kiss me!
A huge grin spread across Luis's mouth and he gently cupped her face in his hands and leaned down to kiss her goodnight. The kiss started off slowly, but intensified rapidly. Luis's hands were wrapped around Sheridan's waist and she put her hands in his hair pulling him closer to her. Both of them were wrapped up in the moment, but Luis was the first to pull away.
Luis: God, Sheridan. As much as I love this, I have to get out of here.
Sheridan: Is there something wrong?
Luis: Yeah, you're doing bad things to me, and if this doesn't stop now, I won't be able to leave.
Sheridan smiled at him and she knew exactly how he felt because she was thinking the same thing.
Sheridan; I agree. (She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a huge hug) Thank you again for tonight, Luis. You have no idea how much it meant to me.
Luis wrapped his arms tightly around her and kissed her on the forehead.
Luis: Me too, Sheridan…me too. So, is it safe to assume that if I ask you out again, you'll probably say yes?
Sheridan: I'd say that's a definite possibility.
Luis: (Smiled and chuckled at her comment.) Well, good. I can have hope then.
Sheridan: Goodnight, Officer.
Luis: Goodnight, Crane.
Luis kissed her lips one last time and walked towards his car. Sheridan watched him drive away and walked into her cottage. As soon as she got inside she flopped herself on the couch and brushed her fingers over her lips thinking about the kisses that Luis planted on her tonight. She reached into her coat pocket and pulled out the pictures. She smiled and then she picked up the Scooby Doo that Luis won for her and hugged it close to her. Luis was driving home and he too pulled out the pictures. He smiled thinking about the incredible things that occurred that night. When Luis got home, Theresa was on the couch watching TV.
Theresa: Hey big brother. How was your evening?
Luis: (Let out a big happy sigh) It was amazing.
Theresa smiled knowingly.
Theresa: Amazing huh? So I take it you and Sheridan hit it off.
Luis: Yeah, you could say that. You could definitely say that.
Theresa: Well, I'm happy for you. But, I'm beat, so I'm going to sleep. Goodnight, Luis.
Luis: Goodnight.
Luis sat on the couch and looked at the pictures once more, and knew that he couldn't wait to see his Sheridan again. His Sheridan? Yeah, he liked the sound of that. He fell asleep on the couch dreaming of her.
THE END
