Chapter 1:
Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald was sitting in his office in the Harmony Youth
Center thinking about the last few months in Harmony. Peering over his
coffee cup, Luis was in deep thought about someone. Someone by the name of
Sheridan Crane. "I can't believe Sheridan Crane and I are actually civil
towards each other." Luis said to himself. Sheridan and Luis have actually
become friends within the last few months. Especially after their trip to
New Mexico and the events of New Year's. Luis saw a different side of
Sheridan, a side that he could get used to to seeing.
*Flashback*
"Make love to me." Sheridan said to a stunned Luis. Sure she really
didn't know who she was saying it to, but it still brought a smile on his
face.
*Reality*
A small smile crept onto Luis's handsome face. His mind begins to
wonder off to Vlanetine's Day at the pond. He almost lost his younger
brother Miguel and his girlfriend Charity. But, that not what he really was
thinking about Again, Sheridan. The beautiful smile she gave him as soon
as both Miguel and Charity were safe. The way she helped out in anyway she
could. She really is a wonderful perosn, he thought to himself. Why can't
I get her out of my mind? OH my goodness, I ... There's a knock on the
door.
"Come in." Luis said.
"Hi Luis," Sheridan said with a smile.
Startled, "Uh, hi Sheridan. What are you doing here?" A smooth thing
to say he thought.
"Gee, thanks for the friendly welcome." she said sarcastically.
"I'm sorry, I just wasn't expecting you today."
"Well, I, um, I actually brought you some muffins." Sheridan stood
there smiling. He must think I am a total nutcase.
"Muffins? You brought me muffins?" Luis asked while he was laughing.
"I'm sorry. I just thought it would be nice. I'll go now." she
replied sounding hurt.
She turned around to leave the office, but something had stopped her
from leaving.
"Please don't go Sheridan." Luis looked longingly into her eyes.
"Thank you for the muffins, that was incredibly sweet of you." His hand was
still holding Sheridan's arm.
Sheridan's arm was tingling, actually, her whole body trembled at his
touch. I can't believe he has this effect on me, she thought to herself.
"You're welcome, Luis." she said smiling.
Her smile was making Luis's knees go weak. He finally realized that
he was still holding Sheridan by the arm. He let go of her arm very very
slowly, not wanting to.
Sheridan and Luis gazed into each other's eyes. Luis took a deep
breath and started to move closer to Sheridan. Sheridan, anticipating what
would happen next, held her breath.

Chapter 2:
Brrrrring. A cell phone. Sheridan's phone. The moment was
interrupted. Sheridan broke the gaze between them and dug into her purse.
"Hello?"
Damn, if it weren't for the stupid phone my arms would be wrapped
around Sheridan's silky smooth skin, Luis thought to himself.
"Hi Ethan. Ummm, well I'm at the Youth Center. Year sure. See you in
a little while." Sheridan said sounding preoccupied.
Sheridan raises her eyes and then they meet Luis's eyes. "I, um, I
have to go, Ethan needs me for something."
"Yeah, I guess I'll see you tomorrow." Luis answered looking
disappointed.
Sheridan didn't want to leave, but she had to. SHe had to meet Ethan.
And she needed time to think about her feelings for Luis.
"Bye Luis."
"Bye Sheridan."
She walked out to the office, more confused than ever. She drove over
to the Crane Mansion. She walked into the main house. "Hello?"
"I'm in here." Ethan called out from the living room.
She walked into the living room. "Sheridan. Hi." Ethan stands up
giving her a quick hug.
" Hey Ethan. How are you?" she replied.
"Good, so good in fact, that's why I asked you to come home. Gwen and
I have finally set a date for our wedding." Ethan said excitedly.
"That's wonderful. I'm so glad you guys have finally set a date. You
two belong together."
Belong together, that phrase echoed inside her head. Her mind begins
to think about Luis.
*Flashback*
Her and Luis tangoing. (both times) Their bodies entwined with each
other.
New Mexico, he saved her life.
New Year's, he saved her life, yet again.
They're first date, he kissed her on her cheek. So gentle, kind.
*Reality*
A huge smile crept onto Sheridan's angelic face.
"Hello! Earth to Sheridan. Come in Sheridan." Ethan called out to
her.
Sheridan quickly snapped out of. "Oh, I'm sorry Ethan."
"Who were you just thinking about?"
"Excuse me?"
"Well, you had this goofy look on you face, like you thinking about the
man of you dreams. So tell me who you were thinking about."
"I... um I wasn't thinking about anyone." Sheridan said blushing.
"You are a terrible liar. Spill it."
Ethan moves in closer to hear. He takes a sip of his water.
"I was thinking about Luis." she said.
Ethan spit out his water. Completely shocked at what he just heard.
"Did you just say Luis? As in Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald. Pilar's son?
The cop that arrested you?" Ethan asked, still shocked.
"Yes, Ethan, I said Luis. I'm not sure what's going on, but for the
last couple of weeks, I have been seeing him in a completely new light."
Regaining his composure, "Well, Sheridan, he makes you happy, then I
will support you in any way I can."
"Thank you Ethan. It means the world to me that you support me. But
I'm not sure how Luis feels about me. I mean, he has told me to my face
that he basically wants nothing to do with me or my family. Ethan, when he
smiles, my knees go weak. The way that he is so gentleman-like, the way he
always still looks out for me, the way he says my name." Sheridan had this
dreamy look on her face.
"Uh, Sheridan, I don't you like Luis." Ethan said.
"What?!"
"No, no, not like that. I think you not only like Luis, you are in
LOVE with him."
"In love with him?!"
"You can't be serious? Me in love with Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald?"
"Yes, I am very serious, too. Now I'm going to send you down to your
cottage. I think you need to think of a way to tell Luis that you love
him."
"Uh, okay. Bye Ethan. Thanks." Sheridan said. She walked to her
cottage. She started to think about Luis.
Sheridan shut the door to her cottage and sat down on her couch. "Me
and Luis in love?!" She said smiling.
Chapter 3:
Meanwhile, Luis left the Youth Center and made his way over to the
Harmony Park. He was recollecting his thoughts about Sheridan. He found a
quiet spot and sat down.
"Sheridan really is a wonderful person. Not to mentions beautiful.
Gosh, why in the world does she have to have an incredible smile?" Luis
asked himself.
"Luis are you listening to yourself? I like Sheridan. I want to be
around her. Even her presense has my heart captivated." he continued to
talk to himself.
Luis stoop up and looked around to see if anyone had heard him.
Thankfully no one was around.
It was getting late, he headed for his house. He was sort of tired
and wanted to get a quick nap in before dinner.
Luis walked into his house, it was quiet. "Miguel, Theresa, Mama?" he
called out, but no one answered.
He went upstairs and took off his shoes and shirt and climbed into
bed. The sun was setting and that was the last thing he saw before he was
fast asleep.
*Dream*
Luis was walking down this long hallway. at the end of the hallway
was a door. When he reached the door, he entered. And then there she was,
Sheridan. She was waiting for him at a small table with a candle lit dinner
for two. There were exotic colored rose petals all over the floor. he
looked over at Sheridan. She was wearing a sinple but very sexy black
spaghetti strap dress. He just stared into her ocean blue eyes.
"Luis, you're a little late." Sheridan finally broke the silence.
"Uh, um, I'm sorry." Luis answered, completely stunned.
"Come here and sit."
Luis sat down, still kinda confused, but he just smiled at Sheridan.
"You look breathtakingly beautiful." Luis said.
"Thank you." said an embarrassed Sheridan. She was so sure that he
could hear her heart pounding against her chest.
They enjoyed a lobster dinner and had an intriging conversation. All
of a sudden a song came on.

As the song played, the budding couple danced. They were so close
together that not even the smalled sliver of light could get through. Luis
had one arm at the small of her back and the other holding her hand.
Swaying to the music, their breath shortened. all of a sudden both of them
moved in for for a kiss. Luis's lips caught Sheridan's. They kissed slowly
at first, but the kiss soon deepened. Neither one of them wanted it to end.
*Reality*
Luis woke up in a cold sweat. "What was that all about?" he asked
himself. Luis sat there on his bed thinking about his dream. "Could I be
in love with Sheridan Crane?" He thought for a moment. "I am."
Luis quickly got dressed. He looked at the clock, it was 9:00 PM.
He ran downstairs, shoes in his hands. He walked into the kitchen, putting
on his shoes and shirt, he found a note.
"Luis,
We didn't want to wake you. We went out to dinner.
Love,
Mama"
After reading the letter, he grabbed his jacket and headed out the
door.

Chapter 4:
*Back at Sheridan's*
Sheridan was sitting on her couh sipping a hot cup of tea. Her mind
started to wonder off. There was a particular man she had in mind. The man
of her dreams, Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald. he is such an incredible guy, warm,
loving, caring, responsible, smart, and not to mention incredibly sexy, she
thought to herself. She was about to take another sip of her team, but
there was a frantic knock on her door. She jumped, almost spilling the tea
all over her.
"Coming." she called out. "I hope its Luis." she whispered.
She opened the door and Luis turned around and quickly grabbed her by
the waist and presssed his lips on top of hers. She was so stunned at first
but then she relaxed and returned the kiss. She intwined her perfectly
manicured hands in his think hair. His hands were on her back, shoulders,
waist, and hair. The kiss deepened. After what seemed like an enernity,
they came up for air.
"Sorry, I just had to kiss you." Luis said breathlessly.
"Oh, Luis, don't be sorry. I'm not sorry. In fact, I really really
liked that hello." she replied.
"Can I come in?"
"Of course you can."
"Sheridan I' am going to be very honest with you."
"Okay, that's good to know."
"Well, I..."
"You what Luis?" Sheridan asked sounding very hopefull.
"Sheridan, I've fallen in love with you. I love you so much that it
hurts. I love who you are, your smile, your laugh, your strength, your
weaknesses. I just love you. I cna't deny my feeling for you any longer."
Luis blurted out.
Sheridan listened and was shocked, but incredibly happy. Tears rolling
down her face, a huge grin appeared on her face. She looked into Luis's
sultry eyes and said, "I love you too Luis, with all of my heart."
Luis grabbed her and kissed her with all he had. This was it, Sheridan
had finally found the man that would love her for who she was and not her
money. She then deepened the kiss.
