He couldn't believe that it was really happening. It seemed like just yesterday they first met. He can still remember the first time he met her. How could he forget. It was the day he fell in love with her. Although he didn't know that at the time. It seemed like they were waiting for months for this day to happen, eventhough it was just less than a year. He still remembers the first time they went out on a date. How could he forget. It was the day she found out that he was not like the other men that she knew. That meant a lot to him. He couldn't believe today was the day that would change thier life forever. He can still remember the day that he told her that he loved her. How could he forget. It was on Valentines Day, the day of love. They were skating and he had push her off the ice and into the snow because she was about to go onto thin ice. He had just blurted out "I love you" to her. He didn't know why he did but he knew that he meant it. It seemed like this moment that they were waiting for was taking forever to come. He can still remember the day that he asked her to marry him. How could he forget. It was on Valentines Day the year after he told her that he loved her. He went to her home with a dozen red roses and a ring and proposed to her right in the door way. He didn't know why he didn't wait until he had at least inside her home, she just looked so beautiful standing there. He couldn't believe the moment had finally come and gone. While his wife laid peacefully in the hospital bed, he walked into the waiting room and proudly announce to a room full of family and friends: "I would like all of you to meet my new daughter, Rose Lynn Crane Lopez-Fitzgerald."
