Survivor V: Thailand (CBS, Thursday 8pm. Premieres September 19th)

What's Happening:  The usual. All the kniving, back stabbing and surprizes you can handle, at least if it's like the last one. And there's new twist, as CBS promotes. Too bad we already know what it is- girls against the guys.

Where It's Been: Need I? This show single handedly reinvented summer programming and reality tv.

Last Season's High: 25.9mil (May 19, 2002)

Premiere Prediction: 24.5mil

The Reason:  CBS has made a smart move in getting the jump on "Friends" by a week. Viewers, reinvigorated by the last one, will likely tune-in in droves. Whether is can hold the viewers depends on who is on the island.

CSI (CBS, Thursday 9pm. Premieres September 26th)

What's Happening:  Nothing new, steady as she goes. And viewers like that just fine.

Where's It's Been: It started out solidly in its first season on Friday, and broke into the top 10 when moved to Thursdays that spring- right after "Survivor." It started its second season out strong, in the top 10, but in the spring time, it just kept growing and growing, becoming rhe monster hit it is today.

Last Season's High: 28.8mil (February 28)

Premiere Prediction: 28.6mil

The Reason:  This show could hit a record right out of the gate, more than likely. And it will keep growing and growing...

Without A Trace (CBS, Thursday 10pm. Premieres September 26th)

What It's About:  Just like "CSI," only with hotter stars and adducted children.

Who's Behind It:  Stars Anthony LaPaglia ("Murder One"), Eric Close ("Now & Again") and realitive unknown Poppy Montgomery.

Unfair Grade Even Before Watching: C

Premiere Prediction: 16.4mil

The Reason: With "CSI" in front of it, and CBS hyping it, it will do good numbers right out of the gate. But will it keep them? "The Agency" sure didn't.
