Born in Ridgewood, NJ and raised in Knightdale, NC, Frankie Muniz discovered his passion for acting after watching his sister perform in a play. Soon after, Muniz was cast as Tiny Tim in an open casting call for A Christmas Carol. He performed the play for three seasons and also appeared in other local productions, including The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz and Our Town.
Muniz made his television debut in the made-for-television movie To Dance With Olivia, starring Louis Gosset, Jr. He also appeared in the CBS "Hallmark Hall of Fame" presentation of What the Deaf Man Heard, for which he received a nomination for The Hollywood Reporter Young Star Award, as well as The Young Artist of Hollywood Award for best television performance in a movie or miniseries. Muniz's additional television credits include Spin City, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Silk Stalkings and Another World.
Muniz has appeared in the feature films Lost and Found, It Had to Be You and Little Man. He can also be seen as the lead in the upcoming release My Dog Skip, also starring Kevin Bacon and Diane Lane and is also starring in Miricle in Lane 2 a Disney film.
Muniz's additional theater credits include Horton Foote's critically acclaimed The Death of Papa.
Muniz currently resides with his family in New Jersey.
