Jay's Replies are in BLUE
Nadia's Replies are in RED

Jay, do the writers ever consult with you/or the rest of the cast about any of the "teenage realism" in the script?
Jay: No, actually they don't. They may ask us about lingo or language on occasion.
Nadia: Hey, what's up?
Nadia: Hello, I'm here. I'm shooting right now but I have 5 minutes or so.

Nadia on the show are you going to start dressing like you did for the dance? thanxs Danielle
Nadia: I will go through a transition period where I will slowly start to dress a little bit more like the rest of the kids.

Nadia, you are so talented in acting and opera. What made you decide to stop for a role on Days, instead of heading for the top of opera in New York??
Nadia: Thank you. I've always wanted to pursue some sort of film or TV acting. So, this is perfect for me. But I do want to continue my singing as well. It's wonderful to have a role where I can sing as well.

Nadia, do you drink a lot of water and eat healthy? What is your secret to beauty?
Nadia: Let Jay answer this for me.
Jay: She drinks five gallons of water a day...
Nadia:Today we pigged out on 10 pounds of chocolate covered pretzels.
Nadia: What do you think Jay?
Jay: Whenever we get chocolate at the set we don't turn it down...
Nadia: We try! No set regimen though. Just eat and be happy.

Nadia: Are you more like the "old Chloe" or the "new Chloe", in real life?
Jay: She's probably like the new Chloe...
Nadia: Yes...hey...yeah.

Nadia, how GREAT are Patrika and Craig???? They are my favorite couple on the show
Nadia: They are the best. I love them so much. We are the perfect dysfunctional family.

Nadia - I had the honor of meeting you at the Days weekend. I just wanted to say you sang beautifully at The Wesley's on Broadway! :)
Nadia: Oh thank you so much. I'm glad you came. I'll be there next year as well.

Do you have any bad or unusual habits?
Nadia: No, Jay is perfect just the way he is.
Jay: Ohhhh, what a sweetheart...
Nadia: I have lots of bad habits.
Nadia: Where do I start?
Jay: Hey Nadia's perfect too.

Nadia, what music do you listen to in real life? Celine Dion's my personal favorite, what about you?
Nadia: I love Celine Dion as well. I have an eclectic taste in music - from opera to EnVogue.
Jay: Jay: She loves Phish too (kidding!!!)
Nadia: Yes, half Persian.
Nadia: Thank you. I'm very much in touch with it because my mother is Persian. Eating Persian food, the music, the customs, I love the culture.

Nadia, which part of the Shake Your Bon-Bon video with Ricky Martin were you in?
Nadia: I was one of the go go dancers with the short silver skirts. Where he was up on stage performing and there was a crowd. He is a very nice guy and has a very nice bon bon as well. And he shakes it well, too.

To NADIA and Jay - I am a big fan of u both and your characters- I am the founder of the Philip/Chloe club and am saying hello in behalf of the members who could not make it here- and for my question, would you both ever consider chatting in my Yahoo Phil/Chloe club? I can give you two my email address so u could contact me if you would wish to do a chat, thanks!
Jay: Sure, why not.
Nadia: Sure, they can write the girl at my website - www.angelfire.com/tv/NadiaBjorlin
Jay: Yeah actually we

Are you two good friends off set?
Jay: We are all good friends off the set.

What training have you had, and when did you start?
Jay: I trained with a guy Scott Setida here in LA, he's great.

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
Jay: It's hard to say.

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to either of you on the set?
Jay: I'm dumped on regularly in the show if you haven't noticed, nothing really embarrassing yet.

Is Phillip going to get involved in the Habitat For Humanity along with the others?
Jay: Yeah he's actually very excited about helping out since he gets to be with Chloe but he warms up to the philanthropy thing later on.

Do you feel a responsibility toward teenagers in your audience?
Jay: Somewhat, I guess I do. I don't think I'm a bad example, others may disagree.

Jay is it your idea to have you hair long on the shows???
Jay: Totally my idea. They want me to cut it, so I'm getting ready to get it cut and highlighted.

Is there anything your fans might be surprised to know about you?
Jay: I'm really close to my family, I talk to my Mom pretty much daily, my brother 4 or 5 times a week and my dad too. My Mom tapes the show everyday and she calls me to tell me what's happened because it airs sooner there, than it does here.

Do you 2 actually ever date normal everyday people per say, or do you both feel it's easier to date people in the business?
Jay: I haven't been on the show that long so I haven't dated anyone in the business, only outside.

Jay, what do you like best about Nadia?
Jay: She has so much going for her, acting, singing and she's a great person.

Jay, how would you sum up yourself in 3 words?
Jay: Kind, caring, and generous.

Jay, is your character going to be tossed out of the house next?
Jay: I hope not, I need that roof over my head!! I will stay the apple of my father's eye.

Jay do you have any hidden tattoos or piercings?
Jay: I have a big dragon on my *#$, just kidding! No tattoos, I don't think I could ever get one, I'm not really into that.

Jay my brother doesn't like to watch Days of Our Lives but when my mother and I were watching and when he came in, he saw the scene with you and John; when "Phillip" had been charged by "Nancy" for putting a headless chicken on their doorstep and my brother said,"He is an awesome actor!!!" He and I are both wondering how much training and time have you put in to become the great actor that you are?
Jay: Thank you very much. I've been in classes since I came out here and studied before a bit, but I think working on Days has taught me more than I'll ever learn in any class.

What is the last movie that you've seen?
Jay: Me, Myself and Irene, it was funny, dirty humor, but definitely funny though. Lucas is hilarious! They're crazy characters.

Will there ever be a love interest for Mimi, and is Brady coming back soon?
Jay: Maybe Brady, she definitely needs one, honestly I don't know!

Would you ever do anything against your own morals for the show?
Jay: If the part called for it I would probably do it.

What's your favorite movie of all time.
Jay: Goodfellas maybe, there are so many though.

How come Bo is not acknowledged as your brother?
Jay: I don't know, Jason and I were talking about that the other day. I'm his uncle which is funny. Maybe they'll do that one day but it'll be odd, but it's fact that he is my half brother. Who knows maybe one day...

Jay, what do you think will be Philips biggest problem as a teenager?
Jay: Maybe getting over his hardheadedness, he doesn't really listen to anybody. Yeah, that stubbornness...

You said you left college to pursue this career. Is acting your passion and what made you know that leaving was the right decision?
Jay: I left Missouri cause I needed something else in my life and acting is a passion but I would really like to pursue music one day...

Jay, what do you think about a pierced tongue on a girl? Is it a turn off or turn on? Be honest..
Jay: It's a turn on.

Will the show ever do anything kind of risky like having one of the teen characters have sex?
Jay: No, I don't think that they'll do that. It might be more realistic but I don't think that's what they want to portray.

Hi Jay. You are an awesome actor and such a hottie. My question for you is did you go to your high school prom??? Thanks. P.S. I love your hair just the way it is :)
Jay: Yeah I did, it was a good time. What else can I say?

What ever happened to Philip's gambling problem? Did Victor take care of the bookie, once and for all? Or is he still in debt?
Jay: Yeah he blew up the guy's house! That pretty much took care of it and I worked off my debt with my father, scrubbing the floor etc.

Where did u attend college in Missouri! I left Missouri too, where I was studying acting! But left to pursue music!
Jay: I went to Southwest Missouri State in Springfield, I was there for a few semesters.

What are your hobbies?
Jay: Acting, music, outdoors, reading, going out with friends.

Jay, what's the first thing you notice in a girl?
Jay: Her smile.

What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done?
Jay: Bungie jumped and I'll never do it again. It scared the hell out of me...I thought I was going to die...I went head first.
Nadia: Hey. Back and better than ever.

Nadia - how did you end up with Nancy and what do you have against her on the show?
Nadia: Oh boy. She ended up finding me from a search on the internet 5 years ago. When the social worker found me she said she didn't want me, but then she changed her mind. I don't want to give her a chance because she gave me up and she tries too hard.

Jay, today is my birthday, would you wish me a happy one?
Jay: Happy birthday Kayla!!!!!!!

Hi! I am a huge fan! Chloe: Was it hard to play sort of an outcast? But I think it must have felt great when you showed them at the dance how beautiful you really are! How was that for you?
Nadia: It was lots of fun. It's been great to play a character on a soap who's so un-soapy, unglamorous, to the other extreme. Making a statement, saying don't judge a book by it's cover. It's been fun to portray different aspects of my character.

Jay and Nadia do u live in LA? Or a different part of California?
Jay: I live in North Hollywood, Studio City.
Nadia: I live in Los Angeles.

Nadia, will you ever consider recording an album? You have such a lovely voice!
Nadia:Yes, I'm highly considering it, very soon actually. I think I'll record a pop music album. The minute I do it I'll let you know.

Hey Nadia! I was wanting to know- are your eyes really that BLUE, or do you wear contacts to make them look more blue?
Nadia: No, my eyes are all me. I'm all real.

Nadia, what famous guys do you think are "hotties"?;)
Nadia: Brad Pitt. Christian Bale. If they're cute, they're cute...Jay Johnson. Do I get some brownie points for that?

Hi Nadia, several women have turned into Diva's on Daytime, do you think the show will change you? Cesca, CA
Nadia: No! Please I hope not. You have permission to slap me if I do. You have your own personality going into this business. It's your upbringing as well. My mother has raised me in a way to never lose that groundedness.

Jay & Nadia-you both must be so exhausted after such long working hours. How do you unwind when you come home?
Jay: Sit down on my couch and fall asleep. You still have to learn your lines for the next day which is tough, but usually I just sit on the couch, turn off the ringer and just chill.
Nadia: Same thing. It depends what mood you're in. And what time you get in. If you get in too late, that's what I would do... or if you get in early enough I go to a movie. I'll be back in 2 minutes. Wardrobe needs me.

Jay, tell us what you think of Nancy! ^_^
Jay: She kind of scares me. She's always beating me up, but I'm gonna charm her into liking me.

Will any of the teens be going on any talk shows anytime soon, like Rosie?!?
Jay: I guess if she'd have me.

How many episodes ahead of the aired ones are currently done? How far in advance is one filmed roughly?
Jay: We shoot about two weeks in advance of the air date.

Jay & Nadia: Do you stand around and watch the other stories on DOOL be videotaped?
Jay: Yeah, I'll come into work around noon and have to sit around until 6pm and I have a chance to watch what everyone else is doing.

Jay are you a soccer fan? If so what do u think of the outcome of Euro cup and who do u think will win the world cup?
Jay: I'm not a big fan, but I do watch it occasionally.

Nadia, how was your life in high school like?
Nadia: High School - the worst years of your life. Every year is different. You start out wanting to be trendy and fit in and by senior year you roll out of bed in your pj's and go to school. I can relate to some of these things, like not sitting with anyone at the lunch table. I didn't have a date to my junior or senior prom.

Does any of your friends and family ask about the storylines? How much info can you tell them?
Jay: Yeah they always ask, I clue them in a bit but just a bit, I like to keep them guessing.
Nadia: I'll tell my brothers but I won't tell my mom. She won't realize that she's giving it away, so I have to be careful with her.

Nadia, what languages do you speak fluently aside from English?
Nadia: I speak Swedish at home. A little, French, Italian, an opera in Russian.

Jay do you pick what you wear or does wardrobe?
Jay: Wardrobe! Nothing against wardrobe, I think that Matt and Jason get to wear the cool clothes though.
Nadia: I don't not get to pick what I wear.

Nadia, what character does your sister play on Baywatch Hawaii?
Nadia: She used to be on Baywatch. I have no idea. I only watched one episode, but her name is Camilla.

What was your first big break into show biz?
Nadia: I can't really think of one particular moment, but I've been singing since I was 6 and in my father's concerts since I was 7. He was a conductor, so he was in the classical music field.

Nadia, when do you plan on settling down and getting married and having kids?
Nadia: I'd love to have kids, but not in the next few years, at least.

What were your auditions like for your roles?
Jay: Well originally I read for Brady, read for the casting director twice who brought me to the producers. I didn't screen test or anything and there I was working three days later.
Nadia: Mine were different. I lived in NYC and auditioned on tape there and sent it here to the producers. They flew me out for a screen test, and then I flew back. They called me on Friday and I had to be working in LA on Monday. Two days later!

Do you ever go to a store, and people recognize you from the show?
Nadia: Oh yes. It's pretty funny. Sometimes I'll be at Costco, the mall, Universal City Walk, the grocery store. I don't wear the glasses or sweaters, so they don't recognize me.

Nadia, Who had the final say on that gorgeous red dress?
Nadia: I had no say in it actually, it was a producer who picked that dress out. In the material, the dress is a different color.

Do you guys work out? Ever try Taebo?
Jay: I've never tried Taebo and actually I'm heading to the gym right after the chat, with my protein shake in hand.
Nadia: I have never tried Taebo. I try to get myself to work out but it's really hard.

Do you two have something amazingly in common?
Nadia: We both love Phish. I'm just kidding. I'm being sarcastic. I guess we have a lot of interests in common. We like to do a lot of the same things. We both sing.
Jay: We both are into music (different styles).
Nadia: We actually sang a duet together at Wesley's on Broadway

Are you surprised the way teens relate to Days of Our Lives because of you guys?
Nadia: No, I guess we shouldn't be surprised. I'm happy, honored and flattered when they tell me I'm a good role model and that they relate.

Jay, do you like cartoons? If so, which ones.
Jay: I like Scooby Doo and the Smurfs.

Nadia, do you have any advice for teens who are like Chloe?
Nadia: It gets better, things are hard when you're young, but ignore the pettiness around you. Ignore the people who put you down. They have their own jealousies, and insecurities and they're not worth it. In the end you will be the one who ends up happy.

Nadia and Jay will you be watching the Olympics?
Nadia: Yeah, I'm definitely going to watch them.
Jay: I will watch track, and basketball. I enjoy track and field the most.
Nadia: I hear that this is the first year women are competing in the pole vault. I can't wait to see that!

Nadia & Jay- I watch Days everyday just to see the progress between you two! I'm having a lot of probs in my life right now & find you both to be a breath of fresh air in my life :) (as corny as that sounds) so anyway how do u feel about being teen role models?
Nadia: That's so wonderful. We don't mind.
Jay: Thank you soo much.

Are the teens going to get into one of those bizarre storylines in the future, like the brain thing or being possessed by the devil?
Nadia: No, I hope not, but we can't speak too soon.

Jay and Nadia: Is it possible that you will ever sing a duet on the show?
Jay: It's up to the writers but I doubt anything like that's coming up.
Nadia: There could be a possibility.
Jay: It's been mentioned but I haven't heard anything since.

Jay and Nadia when you're thinking about dating a girl for the first time that you really care about, how do you handle it?
Jay: Take it slow, get to know her, be aware of what she wants, Nadia what do you think?
Nadia: Be real, be yourself, don't try too hard, don't think you have to use pick up lines. Be sweet and smile.
Jay: No pickup lines?
Nadia: Naaaahhhh.

Is there any competition on the for the older crowd on Days with the teens?
Jay: No, there's no competition those guys are great.
Nadia: We're our own thing and they're their own thing.

When you view your show after it's made, what are you thinking when you see yourself or each other, what are you thinking?
Nadia: Anything from boy he looks really funny there to gee I wish I'd done that differently. You have to learn not to over-analyze yourself.
Jay: Thanks so much for joining us tonight and we'll try to get some future chats going and can't wait to talk to you again!
Nadia: Thank you so much for coming to the chat. I'm sorry I couldn't be here the entire time. Maybe we can do this again soon through my website!
