Chapter 1:
*At the Youth Center*
Sheridan Crane came in early to get an early start on completing her Community Service. She didn't really want to stop doing Community Service because she really wanted to see Luis, but she didn't know if he felt the same way about her. She was mopping the floors of the basketball court when Luis walked in. They were getting along pretty well. They shared some
laughs but they have gotten past their differences and found friendship in each other.
"Hey Sheridan, how's the sweeping going? Not working you too hard Crane..." Luis remarked with a small laugh. Sheridan smiled, "It's going good officer...don't worry, my nails are still on, that means I'm working a fair amount." she retorted. "So, what are you doing here? I thought you were suppose to be reading your paper." Sheridan said as Luis always read his paper for a long time in the morning.
Luis smiled, "I thought you would like some coffee." He said handing her a hot cup of coffee.Sheridan accepted the coffee and smiled, "Thanks Luis."
Their eyes met, they couldn't fight the attraction that they felt. They both smiled, and didn't know what to say. They both got lost in eachothers deep
eyes.
A little girl then came in the Youth Center, "Luis Luis." she cried out. Luis then looked away, and looked at the little girl running over here. Her name was Bethany and she was one of those kids at the Youth Center who was a kind of Leader. She is always wanting to help someone. She ran to Luis. Luis kneeled down to her height, "What is it Bethany?" He asked. "Can you
help me out?" She said in a little kid voice. "Sure." Luis said smiling. "Can you post these flyers around Harmony. I told my mommy I would help out, but I'm too short" She said smiling. Luis and Sheridan then laughed, "Sure.....anytime." Luis said. With that Bethany said her thank yous and ran off to play.
Luis then looked at the flyers, "What is this...." He said. The flyer read.
Tango Contest
If you think you can Tango the best. Enter the contest! You
and your dance partner can win many prizes. Whoever wins the Grand Prize wins $1000 cash. Join now! Sheridan then read the paper, and looked at Luis. Was he thinking what I was thinking? She thought. Luis then looked at Sheridan, "That's some money our
family could use." Luis said. Sheridan knew what he was talking about. She wanted to help out the Lopez-Fitzgerald Family, Pilar has been so good to her, it is the least she could do.
"Um..Luis, if you need a partner, I'll do it..." Sheridan said reminscing of their tango's together. "I mean, I really wanna help you guys out, you know,
to win the money and all." Sheridan said. Luis smiled, "You'd do that for me Sheridan?" "Yeah...I would.. I mean, Pilar is the best to me, and you, well I owe you everything, you've saved my life multiple times...I mean, its the least I can do....so what do you say?" Sheridan asked extending her hand out to see if
Luis will take it. Luis then smiled his killer smile, took Sheridan's hand and shook it, "Alright, Deal" Luis said.

Chapter 2:
Luis and Sheridan stood there, watching each other, anticipating the next move. Sheridan broke the silence, "So, do you want to practice? Or do you
want me to get back to work?" Luis smiled, "Actually, it looks like you're done, let's pratice." he said
as he put the flyer down, and took Sheridan's hand and lead her to the middle of the gym floor. He smiled, "First, we need music." he said as he walked over to the stereo and turned on some Tango Music. He came back, and took her hand and held her in his arms. 'Gosh this feels so good.' they both thought. They practiced for about an hour when while practicing, Sheridan was dancing backwards *hey, its the tango!!*, and tripped on the bucket of water and she fell. "Ouch," she said as she fell, and her leg his the floor hard. The bucket fell over and she was sitting in water.
Luis felt so bad, "oh my gosh Sheridan." he said. He tried to lift her up, "Ouch Luis, it hurts too much." she said sitting back down. She then started laughing as she realized that she was sitting in a puddle of water. "Great." she said, "I'm wet." Luis joined in the laughter. "Sheridan, I'm so sorry," he said as he tried to lift her up again, she couldn't move her leg, "I can't." Luis then got an idea, he took her by the hand, "What are you doing?" Sheridan asked. Luis didn't answer, and he then picked her up, like a little baby, cradling her in his arms as he walked into his office and set her down gently on the couch.
"There." Luis said smiling. Sheridan laughed, "Thanks." Luis went to his phone and picked it up. "What are you doing?" She asked. Luis smirked, "I'm calling the hospital, duh Sheridan, you need to get that leg checked." Sheridan yelled, "Noo." Luis dropped the phone, "What?" "I can't go to the
doctors, I hate the hospital, please Luis don't make me go. My leg is fine." she said trying to get up and prove to him and she could walk but then she fell over. "oh my gosh." Luis said as he ran over to catch her. "Sheridan, you're not fine okay."
Luis then realized that her leg must be spraigned or broken, "Sheridan, we can't sign up for the Tango Contest then." he said. Sheridan was puzzled
but then she realized that too, she closed her eyes, "Luis, I'm so sorry, I'm not gonna let you not at least try to get the money for your family." she
continued, "We're doing this, no matter what, I owe you at least that much." she said trying to get up again, and yet again, falling down. Luis again
caught her and they were in each others arms as he lay her back down.

Chapter 3:
Beth and Hank walked into the Youth Center. She was looking for Luis,
and he
was looking for Sheridan. They looked everywhere until they went into
Luis'
office. Shocked by what they saw, Beth cleared her thoat, causing both
to
wake up "Ahem".
Sheridan and Luis woke up next to eachother a little disappointed that
Beth
and Hank were there to disrupt them. "Beth, Hank, what are you guys
doing here?" Luis asks. A jealous Hank fumes, "What the heck is going on
here." Luis got up, "Calm down Hank, we just fell asleep, no harm." Hank nodded his
head and sat down next to Sheridan and found the Tango Contest flyer. "What's this?" Hank asked. Both Sheridan and Luis went to grab it
away from him but Hank was quicker. "A Tango Contest, are you guys gonna
participate
in it?" Hank asks.
Sheridan looks down as Luis says, "We were, but while we were
practicing,
Sheridan kinda had an accident." he said pointing to her leg. "So
we're not
gonna do it anymore." Sheridan looks up, "Luis, I'm fine, we ARE gonna
do
this okay? I owe you at least this for saving my life numerous times."
Luis
protested, "No, I'm not gonna have you do this in your condition, if
you not
gonna go to the hospital, let me at least take care of you."
Beth interjected, "Luis, why don't we enter the contest together? I
mean I
still remember the moves you taught me back in high school..."
Sheridan
looked disappointed, 'She didn't want Beth to tango with Luis, why?'
she
thought, 'I don't care about Luis like that...do I?' she wondered.
"Yeah that'd be a great idea." Hank said, "Then Luis and Beth and dance
together, maybe rekindle the magic of those high school years..." he
said
smirking, "and I'll sit here and take care of Sheridan, I mean that's
my duty
as boyfriend."
Sheridan and Luis looked puzzled as they said in unison, "Boyfriend?"
Hank
was taken aback from that, "Of course, we are dating right Sheridan?"
Luis
looked away.
