Searching

By Rogue

Threw a dark mist I wander,

aimlessly,

Searching for something all my own.

Twirling in circles,

quietly,

So not to disturb a soul.

Crickets are singing,

a soft melody,

Trees are dancing with the wind.

Ravens are chattering,

so very softly,

And the rumbling river faithfully flows.

Around and Around,

my feet -- they carry me,

to a destination still unknown.

I'm lost in the forest of life

-- how insiring.

I'm searching for the path that will lead me:

Home.
