Ok everyone…this story is Luis and Sheridan in my version of Romeo and Juliet. Now don't go saying you know the ending already, because you don't! I'm just saying it's going to be in Shakespearean language and imagine them as Romeo and Juliet back in the old days where there were arranged marriages, mortal enemies, killing with no arrests or charges (not sure if that was ever true!) and all that crap (and that doesn't sound too different from our world today!). So forget everything you know about Passions (except what everyone looks like! lol) and sit back, relax, and enjoy my story! Here it goes! Oh yeh, and please pardon moi if I do misuse some Shakespearean language....I'm no
expert!

Luis and Sheridan are both sixteen. Pilar is not a Lopez-Fitzgerald. Luis has a father, Sam, a mother, Paloma, a twin sister, Theresa and two best friends, Miguel and Chad. Sam has been Luis' father for about 6 years because his father died when he was only 7. His mother and sister were killed when he was only 12, and Sam, Miguel, and Chad have been his only family ever since. Hank is Sheridan's brother. Julian and Ivy are Sheridan and Hank's parents. Hank hates Luis and vice versa. Sheridan feels no love from her family except from her mother Ivy and her maid Pilar. Sheridan is being forced to marry Ethan, a guy she likes but does not love. Luis is currently single and enjoys taking big risks..even if it is on his life. The Cranes and Lopez-Fitzgeralds are mortal enemies, since Julian and Hank are responsible for the deaths of his real father, Martin, his mother, Paloma, and his twin sister, Theresa. Sworn to get revenge, Luis enjoys crashing all the Crane parties and events...but not for long...
Chapter 1:
Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald walked into the Crane mansion. His mortal enemies
lived here, and he knew he was taking a risk with his own life by even
thinking of coming here. But surely no one would recognize him in this huge crowd that was dancing and waiting for the firework celebration later on that night. Luis sighed inwardly and walked through the crowd. He saw his two best friends, Chad and Miguel roaming around as well. Luis smiled to himself and was ready to stir up some trouble. He walked around the dance floor in his best black tux and blue tie, which made his hazel brown eyes very deep in their color, and couldn't wait to crash the party.
Luis wasn't always such a troublemaker. In fact, there was a time not so long ago when the Lopez-Fitzgerald's and the Cranes were best friends. He remembered going to parties when he was only 4 at the Cranes mansion and playing with a little girl whom was the same age as him. Luis always considered her his first love and best friend, and they swore that one day they would get married. But that all changed when Luis' father was killed in a gun fight with Julian Crane over an arguement.
On a mad rampage, Julian went outside and began shooting randomly..not caring who he shot. One day, Luis asked his mother if he could go see his best friend. Paloma looked at her baby boy with eyes so very sad. "No darling..not ever again." But since Luis was so young, he didn't understand. Why couldn't he go see his best friend anymore? he asked his mother one day. She gently told him that she had been killed in a shooting accident by her father after he had killed Luis' dad while playing outside. Luis was crushed and vowed never to fall in love again.
When Luis turned 10 his mother remarried again to a man named Sam. But when Luis turned 12, some men from the Crane empire came and took his mother and twin sister Theresa outside. They told Luis, whom was in the house alone with them since his father was out in the back, that he would see his mother and sister again soon. Seconds later, he heard screaming and gunshots. He never saw his mother and sister again. Luis shuddered at the memory and the thought that he would be dead too if his step-father, Sam, hadn't raced in from the back door after watching his wife and step daughters' brutal deaths from his place in the back yard unnoticed, and ran away with Luis into the woods.
This was way too much for Luis to take, and he sat down in a chair near the stairs staring blankly ahead. "Thy maid Pilar, where for ought thou mother Ivy?" asked Sheridan. Sheridan belonged to the Crane empire, and her mortal enemies were the Lopez-Fitzgeralds. She was also being forced into an arranged marriage, which put her into a very deep depression. The only people she could count on were her mother Ivy and her maid Pilar. Suddenly, Pilar emerged from the closet to answer Sheridan's call. "My lady, thou art mother is already with the guests downstairs. I'm sure she is expecting thee to announce your engagement to the Lord Ethan Bucador." Sheridan turned around and stared blankly at herself in her vanity mirror.
She was wearing a pale pink,
spaghetti strap, dress that floated on the ground and made her sapphire blue eyes sparkle. Sheridan was trying to stall as long as possible since she was dreading going to join the party. And not to mention having to make her engagement to Lord Ethan Bucador official. It wasn't that she hated him, but she did not love him....but that did not matter to her father. "Dear Pilar, must I go?" Sheridan begged. "I'm sorry my lady, but this is out of thy hands." Pilar frowned. Sheridan sighed. She knew there was no way out of this. Quickly running the brush through her hair and looking in the mirror one last time, she left her room and started walking down the stairs to join the party.

Chapter 2:
As Luis massaged his head, something at the top of the stairs caught his
eye. He looked up to see a very beautiful blond headed girl that looked his
age. Something about her seemed so familiar that it made him flash a killer
smile...and he just couldn't take his eyes off of her. He knew he would have
to at least talk to her tonight.
Sheridan stood at the top of the stairs looking at the huge crowd below
dancing the night away. Suddenly, she felt two eyes staring very intensly at
her and she caught the gaze of a very handsome young man that looked her
age. A faint smile spread across her lips as she tried to read what was so
familiar about this boy through his eyes. One thing was for sure though, she
knew she had to at least talk to him tonight.
Caught up in her staring back at him, Luis didn't notice at first when Chad
was nudging him from behind. "Hey Luis...I see thou art has found a fair
maiden. Hast thou not?" Chad smirked. Luis, startled at first, broke off the
stare and turned around to face Chad. "Huh? Oh...hi Chad." Luis replied.
"Well...do tell what thou has found?" Chad asked. Luis blushed slightly for
a second. Then he remembered the girl and looked around but he did not see
her. And then he saw her. There she stood at the bottom of the stairs having
her extended hand kissed by the Lord Ethan Bucador. Luis frowned and when
Chad saw this he too turned around to see what made his best friend turn
from the happiest man alive to depression all of a sudden.
Chad watched as
the Lord Ethan Bucador took the young lady onto the dance floor. He turned
back around to face Luis who was pretending to be over it already. "Luis...
you are thy best friend. You cannot hide thou feelings from me! Now tell
Chad...what is it about thee fair maiden that strikes you so?" Chad implied
raising an eyebrow. "Let's just forget about, alright Chad?" Luis responded,
getting up from his seat and heading towards the dance floor. Chad shook his
head and knew his best friend was already in love.
"May I have this dance?" Lord Ethan Bucador asked kissing Sheridan's
extended hand. "You may, my Lord." Sheridan replied putting on a fake smile.
As Ethan and Sheridan danced to the music, she noticed the handsome young
man again dancing with a girl. She frowned as she continued watching them
dance. When the song was over, Ethan decided to cut in with the girl that
the young man was dancing with. Sheridan told him she didn't mind. Standing
on the dance floor all alone, she started to walk away, but someone gently
grabbed her arm and she turned around to face them. It was the handsome
young man again. Sheridan could feel a smile tugging on her lips as she
accepted the young mans offer to dance. As they gently swayed back and forth
with Sheridan's head resting on Luis' chest, she couldn't help but feel as
if she had been in love with him her entire life.
Luis was hesitant to answer. If
she found out who he was, she might call the guards, and it would be death
for him and his friends for crashing a Crane party. "You can call me Romeo."
he replied, gently rubbing her hand with his fingers. She closed her eyes at
his touch. "What about you...what's your name?" he asked her softly.
Sheridan didn't know what to say. If she told him her real name, and heard
about her engagement later on, that would scare him away..and she didn't
want to lose him now. "You may call me Juliet, Romeo." she answered, lifting
her head up to meet his hazel brown eyes staring into her sparkly ocean blue
ones. They were so caught up in eachothers gaze that they didn't notice the
music had ended, or that they had stopped dancing. There faces inches apart,
they slowly leaned in closer about to kiss when suddenly, someone cut in.
"Ah, there you are my darling." Ethan said, taking her hand and kissing it.
"Ethan." she replied, trying to smile. "I'm terribly sorry to cut in..do you
mind, young man?" Ethan asked Luis. "No, not at all." Luis told him, trying
to smile. Luis and Sheridan, or should I say, Romeo and Juliet, stared into
each others eyes one last time as Ethan took her away.

Chapter 3:
Luis couldn't move. He was just lied to her. But he knew it was for the
best. And he couldn't believe he almost kissed her...and that he still
wanted to. "Stop it Luis!" he told himself. Luis had made a promise to his
best friend the day he found out she died that he would never fall in love
again. So why was he being tortured so with the urge to see her again and
kiss her? He ran his fingers through his hair and walked off the dance floor
to go find Miguel and Chad.
"May I ask what is with the rush, my Lord?" Sheridan implied as she was
being rushed through the dance floor to the front of the crowd. "I want
everyone to be able to see my beautiful bride to be when they announce our
engagement, my lady." Ethan grinned. Sheridan faked yet another smile, but
inside she was dying to see Romeo again...she couldn't believe they had
almost shared a kiss after meeting for only the first time. Suddenly, her
father, Julian, interrupted her thoughts. "Excuse me....may I have you
attention please?" Julian called from the stage next to the dance floor.
"I
would like to take this time to announce the engagement of my daughter and
Lord Ethan Bucador!" he announced. Luis didn't even listen to Julian. He
wanted to hear nothing that man had to say. Instead, he found Chad and
Miguel at the refreshment table with two young ladies. Luis rolled his eyes
as he interrupted them and asked to speak to his two best friends alone.
After they were gone, Luis pulled them to a hidden corner and spoke. "Hey,
let's get out of here.. this party is not worth thy time." he lied. "Get out
of here? NOW? Thee must be crazy for such a foolish suggestion when we
haven't even seen the fireworks yet!" Miguel whined. "Fine..but we are
leaving after the firework celebration...agreed?"
Chad and Miguel looked at
the two beautiful girls waiting for them and then looked at eachother and
sighed. "Ok." they replied in unison with frowns on their faces. "LET THE
FIREWORKS BEGIN!" Julian yelled loudly from the stage as everyone began
moving outside. Chad and Miguel took their two new ladies hands and escorted
them outside. But Luis told them he'd wait until it was all over.
"Aren't you coming, darling?" Ethan asked Sheridan. "No..I think I'll wait
until they are over." she replied. "Are you sure?" Sheridan nodded and
waited until Ethan was outside before she moved. She breathed a sigh of
relief and walked towards the balcony.
Luis emerged from his hidden corner where he had just talken to Chad and
Miguel moments ago. He walked slowly across the room until he saw a balcony
at the very end. "Might as well watch the firework show..." Luis murmured to
himself as he walked towards it.

Chapter 4:
Sheridan gazed at the beauty of the fireworks as they exploded in the air.
The midnight sky was brightened with thousands of fireworks going off all at
once. Looking at them made her remember a very distant memory.
***MEMORY***
"Look Luis! The fireworks are going off!" cried 5 year old Sheridan pointing
towards the sky. "I see them!" he replied holding her hand. For a moment,
they stood and watched in amazement at the night sky. "Sheridan...promise me
thy won't ever forget this night." Luis told her, quite serious for a 5 year
old. Little Sheridan smiled at him. "How could I ever forget a single moment
spent with thee?" And with that, they shared an innocent kiss.
***END OF MEMORY***
Sheridan sighed. That was the last time she ever saw him...her first love
and best friend, Luis. She missed him so much...and she never really
understood why she never saw him again. Whenever she asked her father, he
would coldy reply: "Because he doesn't want to waste his time with a bratty
5 year old! He hates you! Get over it!". Sheridan could remember the endless
nights she spent crying herself to sleep, wishing Luis was with her. Her
eyes still sting from all the torment she suffered after losing him. "He
does hate me..and that's that." she whispered to herself. "Pardon me,
Juliet..but who could ever hate someone like you?" Sheridan turned around
quickly to see "Romeo" standing before her.
"Romeo..I'm afraid you have
caught me off guard." she smiled. "The fireworks are beautiful." she
continued, trying to change the subject. 'Almost as beautiful as you.' he
thought to himself. "Yes, they are very beautiful..I haven't seen them since
I was a child." "Really. How old were thou then?" she asked. "I was 5." he
answered and Sheridan was shocked. "Were you alone?" she blurted turning
around to face him. Luis was puzzled at first, but decided to just push it
off. "No...thou was with a girl."
Sheridan couldn't believe what she was
hearing. 'No it can't be...but what if it is?' she thought to herself. All
of this was coming to quickly for Sheridan, and she fainted, but Luis caught
her. "Juliet? Juliet, are thee ok?" Luis asked concerned. Sheridan's eyes
fluttered open. "Luis?" she asked softly, staring into his hazel brown eyes.
Luis' jaw dropped wide open. "Sheridan??" he replied. Sheridan fainted again
in his arms.

Chapter 5:
When Sheridan came to, Luis stood them up straight and they stared deeply
into eachothers eyes. "Luis, I-I.." "Sheridan, I thought you were dead!"
Luis interrupted. "Whatever gave you that idea?" Sheridan replied, puzzled.
"Thy mother told me so." Luis told her. "Thou art mother lied." Sheridan
replied as they now held hands. "But what about you...my father told me you
hated me, and that is why I could never see you again." she frowned,
reliving the horrible nights in her mind. "How could I ever hate you?" Luis
asked her, gently rubbing his hand against her cheek.
"Oh please hold me
Luis." she told him as they embraced eachother. "I missed you so much." he
whispered in her ear. "Please don't ever leave me again dear Romeo." she
smiled. "Never shall I leave thy fair maiden Juliet again." Sheridan closed
her eyes and dwelled in this moment as long as she could. They broke apart
and smiled as they looked intensly into eachothers eyes once again. "So, how
would you like a tour of the Crane mansion?" she asked smiling sweetly. "I'd
love to..I haven't been upstairs since I was a child." he replied, flashing
her his killer smile. They interlocked hands and Sheridan led him up the
stairs.
After showing him everything, the last place was Sheridan's room. She led
Luis inside and closed the door behind them in case someone happened to be
wandering by. "Do you like it?" Sheridan asked, stepping in front of him and
taking his hands once again. "It's beautiful...just like thou art,
Sheridan." Sheridan blushed and couldn't help but notice how close they
were. Luis knew it too. He grabbed her around the waist and pulled her
closer. Neither knew what to say, but both of them knew what they wanted to
do. Luis leaned his head in and met Sheridan's lips in a soft, velvety kiss.
But that didn't last for long. Luis' slowly made his way into her mouth, and
they began kissing fervently.
Sheridan moaned slightly as his hands slid
down her back. She broke off the kiss and took Luis by the hands leading him
to her bed. He layed down on top of her and they shared an intensifying
kiss. Luis looked deeply into Sheridan's sparkling ocean blue eyes. "Make
love to me, dear Romeo." Sheridan said. "Sheridan.. are thou sure?" Luis
asked, making sure she really wanted this as much as he did. She responded
with a fiery kiss and Luis took this as a yes. He broke it off and Luis took
off his shirt before kissing her again. Luis made his way to her neck and he
began to slip off her dress in the process. Sheridan closed her eyes at
Luis' feathery kisses. He finally slipped her dress off completely and
Sheridan rolled over on top of him. She kissed him softly on the lips and
worked off his pants.
As Sheridan lay on top of him kissing him
passionately, Luis unsnapped her bra and flipped her back over slipping off
her panties as well. They broke off their long kiss and while Luis was on
top of her, Sheridan toyed with the waistband of his boxers before flipping
back over on top of him and taking them completely off giving her a very
good view of how much he had grown up. She smiled as she ran her hands over
him, causing Luis to moan her name. He rolled over on top of her and flashed
her his killer smile before kissing her again deeply.
Luis pulled Sheridan's
legs around him and entered her gently. Sheridan moaned with pleasure and
pulled his body harder against hers as they began to move to and fro. They
broke off their very long kiss, and Sheridan stared into his beautiful hazel
brown eyes as Luis whispered how much he loved her in her ear. when they
both felt it. "Oh God...Sheridan.." Luis moaned. Sheridan tossed her head
back and held onto Luis tightly as she yelled his name.
Afterwards, they lay in eachothers arms, staring out her open balcony window
at the fireworks. Sheridan's back was to Luis as he held her securely and
kissed her neck softly. "Thank you, my love." Sheridan whispered, rubbing
his hand. Luis rested his head next to hers, tracing lines up and down her
side. "That was amazing, Sheridan..it was well worth 11 years of waiting."
he smiled. Sheridan rolled over to face him, and they shared a soft kiss and
fell asleep in eachothers arms, completely forgetting about the party...and
that the fireworks would be over soon.

Chapter 6:
Pilar smiled as she walked towards Sheridan's room with fresh flowers.
"These should cheer thy lady up." she said outloud to herself as she opened
the door. "MARY AND JOSEPH! WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!?!?" Pilar screamed as she
saw a very naked Sheridan with a very naked young man. Sheridan's eyes
fluttered open and were soon widened with shock as she saw Pilar's jaw wide
open screaming. The scream also woke up Luis, whom quickly covered up with
the blanket. Sheridan jumped out of bed, got her robe and ran over to Pilar
throwing her hand over her mouth. "Pilar, please, calm down!" Sheridan said
quietly, afraid someone else might here her scream. Pilar calmed down some,
but as she glanced at Luis, whom was collecting all of his clothes that were
thrown on the ground, she screamed again through Sheridan's hand.
Pilar
grabbed Sheridan's hand taking it off of her mouth. "What do you think you
are doing, my lady? You are engaged now! You were to stay wholesome till
your wedding night! Who is this?!?!" Pilar said quite loudly. Sheridan
walked over to a now dressed Luis, though not very decent, and placed her
arms around his neck. "Thy maid Pilar, I would like you to meet the love of
my life, Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald." Sheridan smiled, kissing Luis softly on the
lips. "Lo-Lopez-Fitzgerarld?" Pilar asked, shaking. Luis nodded wrapping his
arms around Sheridan's waist as she rested her head on his chest. Pilar
fainted at the mention of the last name in the same sentence as love.
Luis
and Sheridan ran over to her, awakening her at once. "Are thou art alright?"
Luis asked, holding the fainted maid in his arms with Sheridan kneeled
beside him. Pilar sat up and stared Sheridan in the eyes. "My lady..I am not
of right to tell thee what to do. So I will keep what I have seen here
tonight a secret." Pilar frowned. Sheridan smiled as she hugged Pilar. "Oh
thank you maid Pilar! I knew thy could trust thee!" Luis helped the maid up
and she gathered up the scattered flowers walking out the door and closing
it behind her.
In the hallway, Pilar bumped into Ivy Crane. "Good evening, my lady." Pilar
told her with a fake smile. She still couldn't believe what she had just
saw. "Pilar..do tell me, where has thou daughter disappeared to? I did not
see her at the firework celebration!" Ivy questioned. "I..I do not know, my
lady." Pilar lied. "Oh well I'll just check her room then...good night,
Pilar." Ivy smiled walking towards Sheridan's room. "NO! You cannot do that
miss Crane!" Pilar blurted, grabbing her arm.
Meanwhile, in Sheridan's room, Luis and Sheridan got completely dressed and
made themselves look decent. Luis slid his arms around her waist from behind
and she turned around to face him. "I love you." he whispered, kissing her
softly. "Forever?" Sheridan replied, staring deeply in his eyes. "And
always." he smiled. She smiled back and they kissed affectionately, neither
one aware of anything else as they stood a few feet away from the door
leading to the hallway.
