Forever Love~ sequel to Here Without You

    She looked at the picture with a lovingly look plastered on her face. Her and Luis looked so in love. Her right hand was spread out across her stomach. Please come home soon Luis, she thought. Her due date was only three days away and she wished that Luis would be here for the delivery of their baby. She placed the picture back on her nightstand and slid out of her bed. She walked out of her bedroom and headed down to the nursery. The theme for the Baby's room was Noah's Ark. The walls were painted sky blue, with clouds. Baby giraffes, baby elephants, baby zebras, baby pandas and baby lions adorned the walls. The crib was oak, inside was filled with Noah's Ark bedding. The rest of the furniture was all oak too. The room looked beautiful thanks to Fox, Ethan, Theresa, Gwen, Pilar and herself.

 

 

    Luis rushed around his apartment. He was going back to harmony. Back to his family. Back to the woman he loved. What he didn't know was that he was in for a huge surprise. He grabbed his suitcase and placed it on his back. He began to throw everything in. An hour later he was ready to leave this place. He gave his last rent check to the landlord and jumped into his Ford. Luis started up his truck and began to drive back home. He couldn't wait to get home. He would envelop Sheridan in his arms. Kiss her. Then they'd make passionate love to each other.

 

 

    Pilar and Sheridan sat in the living room watching A Wedding Story. "Pilar, they're such a cute couple" Sheridan said, smiling at the couple on tv. "Yes they are miha. They remind me of you and my son" The older woman replied. "Yeah that's what I was thinking too, Pilar. I said a prayer the other night. I hope god brings him back home Pilar." Sheridan sighed sadly as the baby kicked for the hundredth time that day. Just then the doorbell rang. "I'll get it Pilar" Sheridan got up and opened the door. Her mouth hung open as she stared at the man staring before her. "Oh god..." She mumbled and ran into his arms. Sheridan leaned up to kiss the man she loved. "Oh Luis, I missed you so much" She wrapped her arms even tighter around him. Happy tears began flowing freely down her cheeks.  He pulled back and stared at her.

 

 

    My eyes travel down her body and land on her stomach. Oh my god she's pregnant, I think to myself. "Sheridan you're pregnant." I say softly. "Yeah I am Luis. We are going to have a baby" Sheridan tells me. "We?" "Yes sweetheart, me and you. Luis, your going to be a daddy" I look into her eyes and my heart swells with so much love for her and our baby. "When are you due?" "In three days" She answers, smiling happily. Tears begin to form in my dark brown eyes, I came just in time! I envelop her in my arms one more time. I walk into my house and I'm greeted by my mother.

 

    This is it, I tell myself, today Luis and I will get to meet our sweet little Ayden. I look over at Luis, and then at the anesthesiologist, who's holding the epidural. Luis looks like he's going to pass out. I turn onto my side and I get injected with the needle. I squeeze Luis' hand as I push, harder and harder. I inhale and exhale. Luis wipes the sweat from my forehead with a cold wash cloth. I smile up at him, I silently thank god that he's here with me, and is helping me through this delivery. Minutes later a babies cry fills the room. I begin to cry tears of joy. I look at Luis and I realize he has tears forming in his eyes.

 

    I'm finally a daddy, I think to myself. I watch as the doctor places our son on Sheridan's chest. Little Ayden Paul Lopez-Fitzgerald. He's so beautiful and he's very tiny. "Luis he's so beautiful" I hear Sheridan say. "Yes he is Sher. He's a combination of both of us. He has my hair and he has your eyes." I tell Sheridan. She smiles up at me. Could we be anymore happier? "Sheridan, I have something to ask you baby." "What is it?" She asks. I pull the object from my pocket and present it to her. I watch as she gasps and begins to cry. "Sheridan I'm so sorry I left you. That was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made Well I'm here now and I want to build a life with you and my son. I want to be not only your boyfriend or your lover, but your husband. Sheridan Crane will you marry me?" I ask her. "Yes!" She exclaims and she leans in and places a passionate kiss on my lips. I slide the diamond ring onto her finger. I wrap my arms around her, I thank god once again that she and our son are in my life.
