Chapter 1:
Bang! Crash! Boom! The sounds of a rapid thunderstorm rolling in as the trees limbs scratch up against the house. Sheridan tosses and turns in her bed with the thunder echoing in her ears like a cave. She spends the night alone once again without Luis there to comfort her. Only if this fight or whatever happened between Luis and I had never happened, Sheridan
thought to herself while lying her hand on the pillow next to her as if Luis were there. She soon fell asleep dreaming of the wonders her and Luis could
and once had together. Luis awakes to the chirping birds singing exuberantly unlike Luis himself.
He decides to take a walk down to the wharf.
As soon as he gets there heimmediately thinks of the passionate kiss he once shared with Sheridan, remembering the look on her face, what she wore, and her looking beautiful. The only this this place is, is a whole other bad memory of the past. He sits on the bench and has a flashback of the time when Sheridan slapped him... He gets up and walks slowly away from the wharf and accidentally happens to bump into Sheridan. Why aren't you here without a bodyguard. Luis questioned frantically. Oh not this macho pig deal again, I can take care of myself! Sheridan barked. Fine! you want to get killed and have me come to your rescue once again then that's fine with me, You listen up Miss. Pig head I'm not always going to be there for you! Luis barked back.
They both walk their separate ways and walk back home. The nerve of that girl, Luis says to himself. The nerve of that man, Sheridan thought to herself. Sheridan makes it
home to visit Ethan. What's wrong Sheridan you look bothered, Ethan questioned. No, its nothing I'm just a little tired didn't get much sleep last night.
Sheridan said quietly. I know what you need, you can go down to the cabin and rest. We will send a
guard with you just in case anything happens. Ethan said excitedly. Ethan that's a great idea, I need to get away from here any way, I could use a brake. Sheridan mumbled. Ok then, I'll call Mike up so that you will have a driver and a guard. Ethan remarked.
Sheridan packed her things and Mike got ready then
drove her to the cabin and they both got out of the car and went in the house. You know what Mike, You can have the day off. Sheridan smiled No Miss. Crane. I'm afraid I cant do that, argued Mike. Please just go, Ether take it or leave it! Sheridan complained. Mike
says ok and walks out the door and drives away. Sheridan decides to read a book to keep her company. As she's reading, Antoine is peering through the window
watching her every move. Sheridan looks up and He ducks. That was a close on, She will not get any closer I must kill her immediately. Antoine says to himself. Sheridan decides to take a shower. As she gets in, Antoine opens the door. Miss. Sheridan forgot to lock the door, What a dimwit. Sheridan walks unexpectedly out the shower.
Antoine runs and grabs her and throws her
in the chair. before anything else happens Luis slowly opens the door and takes and open fire at Antoine. He falls to the ground and Luis runs and hugs Sheridan. Antoine is still alive but Luis and Sheridan don't know that..Antoine slowly lifts his hand and fires at Luis. Sheridan runs out of the house and remembers she told mike to take the car. She also remembers
that she has a gun in her pocket. She hides in a bush hoping that Antoine won't see her. Antoine soon walks out looking for her. He comes to close to the bush and Sheridan shoots him three times. He falls to the ground. She says to herself out loud, Now your dead, finally dead. She runs into the cabin and calls 911. After that she runs to Luis side. He get up and says a good police man always a a bullet vest on. Luis and Sheridan hug. Luis, Sheridan says, I wont need to be unsafe anymore if Iım always with you. The police came and so did the paramedics. Sheridan and Luis drove home and spent the rest of the night together and fell asleep in each others arms.
