A Love To Bloom

Chapter 1: Late!

As the sun was rizing Sheridan woke up. " Oh, know I am late," Sheridan said rubbing her eyes to wake herself up. She ran in the living room where Luis was asleep on the coach. Sheridan woke him up. " What?!" " Go get dressed Gwen's wedding is today," Sheridan said in a hurry. " What wedding?" " The one that I'm in, I'm a brides maid, now come on I have to go meet Theresa at the church!" " Theresa, why is she going to be at a Crane's wedding?!" " Oops.....," Sheridan knew that Luis was going to freak if he knew Theresa was a maid of honor. " Oops what Sheridan? What are you not telling me?" " Nothing now let's just get dressed, or I'll be late!" " Ok, but I'm going to find out what you are hiding from me," Luis said. Sheridan ran to her room, and got dressed in a hurry.

Luis came out of the bathroom in a tux. " Aren't brides maids supposed to wear dresses? By the way you are only wearing one shoe," Luis said looking at Sheridan's bare foot. "Ha ha very funny! My dress is at the church, the other brides maids are going to help me get my hair and make up done there, so lets go," Sheridan said as she put her other shoe on. " Ok ok, there's no need to rush!" " Yeah there is, the ceremony starts in a hour!" " Well why didn't you say that before, let's go," Luis said teasingly. And they left.

Chapter 2: The Dress

Sheridan ran in the church. Luis following behind. There in the church stood Gwen. She was by the brides maids dressing room, looking very annoyed. " Where have you been Sheridan," Gwen said angrily. " Sorry Gwen I slept late!" " Well go get dressed Theresa is in the room, and she'll help you fix your hair." " Why is Theresa here," Luis asked angrily. Sheridan and Gwen just looked at Luis helplessly. " Fine then I'll just ask Theresa." Luis walked in the brides maids room. Theresa was getting all the supplies she would need to make the other brides maids look beautiful. " Theresa what are you doing? And why are you wearing that dress," Luis asked. Theresa turned hesitantly. " Ah........" Sheridan walked in. " She's going to help me fix my hair...," Sheridan made a excuse for Theresa.

" So Luis why don't you just go find a seat, I really should get dressed now." " Fine." And Luis left the room. " Thanks Sheridan, I ow you one," Theresa said. " Well once he sees you walking down the isle in the ceremony he is going to be furious," Sheridan said. " I know, I probably should go and tell him what is going on." " Yes, you probably should." " Well your dress is on the chair, just get dressed in it, and I'll be back to fix your hair, hopefully!" And with that Theresa left. Theresa saw Luis sitting down. She sat by him. " Theresa, do you want to tell me what is going on?" " Luis, I....." " Your what?" " I'm a brides maid." " What?! Theresa! You are not going to be in that wedding!" " Yes I am Luis." Theresa then left angrily mad at Luis for trying to mess with her life. When Theresa stepped in the room Sheridan was there in her dress. "

Whoa, Sheridan you look gorgeous! Luis is going to love seeing you in the wedding," Theresa said. " What do you mean?" " I mean I think he has feelings for you." " That is ridiculous Theresa, Luis hates the Cranes." " I don't think he hates you." Sheridan has a flash back. She remembers what she over heard Luis say that night on the wharf. " Sheridan, Sheridan what's wrong," Theresa asked. Sheridan took in a deep breath trying to hold back the tears and said," Oh, nothing, let's just get my hair and make up ready. " " Ok, here let me put this flower in your hair, all of the brides maids are wearing them." "Ok." Theresa put the flower in her hair. " Oh, I forgot about the make up, let me go see if I can find some in my purse I'll be right back," Theresa said.

She went in to the room that was by the one they were in. Sheridan looked in the miror. " Luis will never have feelings for me, he made that clear that night I over heard him at the wharf." She looked at herself again. " Ok, I need to forget about that and just get ready." She grabbed a pair of earings and put them on. " Theresa," Luis said. Sheridan turned around. Luis just stared at her. " So what do you think," Sheridan asked. Luis didn't speak, he just stared at Sheridan. Sheridan walked up to Luis. "Luis?" " Ah yeah, what were you saying," Luis said as he snapped out of it. " Do you like the dress?" " Luis paused a second, and looked at Sheridan. " Ah, yes, yes it's beautiful." Sheridan smiled.Luis looked at her, and touched the flower that was in Sheridan's hair, and smiled back. They moved closer, and were about to kiss, and then.....

Chapter 3: Wedding Bells!

" Err..," the door shut slowly, and Theresa walked in the room. " What are you guys doing?" Luis and Sheridan looked over at Theresa, and then back at each other. " Guys," Theresa said. " Ah, yeah," Luis said as he backed up from Sheridan. " Were you two going to kiss?" " Why would you think that," Sheridan asked. " Because you were like a inch apart, and I know you two have the hots for each other." Luis and Sheridan stared at her. " I came to talk to you," Luis said. " Luis, I am going to be in this wedding."

" No you aren't Theresa," Luis said trying to change the subject. " I'm going to go talk to the paster to get you out of this wedding," Luis said as he went to go find the paster. Theresa followed Luis out of the room. Sheridan sat down, and looked in the mirror looking at the flower and remembering Luis, and how they were about to kiss. " If only we did kiss Luis," Sheridan said. " What did you say Sheridan," Hank asked looking upset. " Nothing." " Ok, but Gwen told me to tell you the wedding is starting soon." " Ok." And then Hank left the room. He stood there out the door. " Sheridan, Sheridan, Sheridan it's too bad that you are falling for my best friend, because if you weren't then I wouldn't have to do what I am going to do," Hank said as he grabbed his phone as it started to ring.

Sheridan went to the door to see who's phone was ringing. She opened the door a crack. " Yes Roger, I will kill Sheridan tonight." Sheridan backed up from the door, and closed it. " Hank is going to try to kill me......" She sat down. " I have to get to Luis." Sheridan opened the door to the room next to the one she was in. " What are you going Sheridan," Hank asked. " Sheridan turned around nervously, but trying to get past Hank. " What's wrong Sheridan," Hank asked. " Ah, nothing." Hank moved closer. Sheridan stepped back. " Do you not want me to kiss you or something?" " Ah....oh, no......," Sheridan said so she could get away from Hank. Hank go closer, and pushed Sheridan to the wall. Then he kissed her. Sheridan pushed Hank off of her. " Stop it, I know you are going to kill me, and I'm going to tell Luis!" Hank backed away. " Well I don't want to do this right now, but I think I am going to have to kill you."

Sheridan ran in front of Hank to try to go tell Luis about Hank. Hank grabbed Sheridan. Sheridan screamed. Then Gwen walked in the room. " Gwen, Hank's a killer," Sheridan screamed out to her. " What, Hank?" Hank grabbed his gun, and shot Gwen. Sheridan ran to the floor, and checked her pulse. " You killed her Hank," Sheridan said. " You should of thought of that before you opened your big mouth." He grabbed Sheridan by her arm. " Let's go." Sheridan struggled to try to get away. When they reached to the parking lot, Sheridan screamed. " Shut up," Hank said putting his hand over her mouth. Sheridan kicked Hank. Hank angrily then punched Sheridan, causing her to fall to the ground. She started bleeding on the ground, and the flower from her hair fell to the ground. " You shouldn't of done that," Hank said, and pulled Sheridan into his car.

Chapter 4: The Death

In the church everyone, waited for the wedding to begin. Theresa and the other brides maid walked down the isle. But Sheridan did not walk down the isle. Everyone noticed. Luis knew something was wrong, and ran into the brides maids room. Theresa ran behind him. As Luis opened the door Theresa gasped. Gwen was lying on the floor dead with blood all over her, and her wedding dress. " Oh, my gosh Luis, she is dead!" Luis looked at her. " Sheridan, this must be something to do with Sheridan. Where is she!" Luis pulled out his phone to call Sam. Sam answered the phone. "Chief Bennet." "Yeah, it's Luis. I'm over at the church for Ethan and Gwen's wedding. But the bride is dead, and the brides maid is missing."

." "Who is the brides maid," Sam asked. Luis paused for a little while. "Sheridan. It's Sheridan, she's missing." " I'll be right there, just get everyone out of the church, and don't touch anything." So Theresa ran out with Luis to wear everyone was waiting for the wedding. Luis got infront of everyone. " What is going on Luis," Ethan asked. "Someone died." Everyone gasped. " Who, who died,"Ethan asked in horror. " The bride." " Oh my gosh, Gwen!" "Yes, and we need everyone to leave the building." "And the brides maid....Sh..Sh....," Luis said in worry for Sheridan. Theresa took over patting Luis' back. " Sheridan is missing." Luis started crying to everyones dismay.

Luis looked up," If anyone knows anything about what happened report to a police officer. Now we need everyone to leave the building." Sam walked through the door, with something in his hands. Other officers walked behind him, and went to the room to take Gwen's body away. Sam walked up to Luis. " What is it," Luis asked. "Oh, know you didn't find Sheridan dead did you?" " No, I didn't Luis." " Oh, thank god," Luis said. " But I did find this, and blood all over the parking lot." Luis looked at what was in Sam's hands. It was the flower from Sheridan's hair. " Oh my god....," Luis said holding her head. " What is it Luis," Sam asked.

Chapter 5: The Mystery

Luis just stared at the flower, and grabbed it from Sam. "Luis....," Theresa said,and she looked at what Luis was holding. "Oh my god," Theresa said. The police took everyone out of the church. "Theresa, can you tell me what this is," Sam asked. "Yes, yes I can. It's the flower all of the brides maids wore, but this pink one is the one Sheridan wore." " I see." " Who's blood is it Sam," Luis asked. " We don't know yet,I sent it to the lab to be tested. We should know in a few hours." " Where did you find the blood, and the flower," Luis asked. Sam then lead Luis and Theresa to where he found the two clues. In the parking lot there was still a little blood on the concrete. Luis touched it, and it rubbed on his hands. He held his head down and started to cry. "

Luis.....,"Sam said patting hime on the back. Luis looked up at Sam. " Was the flower next to the blood?" Sam looked at Luis, knowing that the truth would hurt him. " Sam,tell me the truth!" " Ok Luis, I'll tell you. But I think Theresa should go home, the envestigation isn't any place for a girl her age to be." "Theresa, please go home." "Ok Luis," Theresa said kissing him on the cheek. " Be careful," Theresa said, and then left. " Was the flower by the blood Sam!" Sam looked at Luis. " Yes, it was by the blood." Luis looked at the blood on the concrete in grief. " Why. Why did they have to kill her Sam." " Luis, we don't know that. Let's go down to the station to see what the blood results found on the concrete are.

Chapter 6: The Blood

The Blood " Get in here," Hank said pushing Sheridan into the warehouse. Sheridan was bleeding all over. " I've been here before." " Yes, you remember. When you shot Les." He grabed Sheridan. "Sit." He pushed Sheridan into a chair and tied her up. " Hank, please don't do this, let me go." "What do you think I am stupid, you'll tell Luis that I am part of the drug cartel, and he'll arrest me." "You'll never get away with this." " Watch me." Back at the station Sam and Luis wait for the test results for the blood they found on the concrete. Luis is sitting at his desk in tourment. "Luis take it easy buddy, we'll find her," Sam said. " But will we find her alive?" Sam didn't answer. " I know the odds are if we even find her, than she'll be dead." " Luis, don't say that we don't know what is going to......" Sam got cut off, as a lab instructor came out with the test results in his hands. He handed them to Sam. "Thank you," Sam said. He looked through the packet.

He read through the pages. Then he looked up at Luis. " It is her blood, isn't it," Luis asked. "Luis...." " Let me see the results Sam. Let me see them." Luis grabbed the packet from Sam, and read the results. He held his head in dismay. Sam patted Luis on the back. "Why? Sheridan is a good person, why did she have to die." " Luis....We don't know if she is dead." " You keep on telling me that." "Luis, are you in love with Sheridan?" Luis paused. He looked up at Sam, and down at the test results. "Yeah, yes I'm in love with her. I have been for along time, but she's dead now Sam. She's dead, and it's all my fault I wasn't being a good bodyguard." Luis held his head ashamed of his self, and cried.

"It's not your fault Luis. Hey, we'll find out what happened. You should go home in get some rest." " I'm not tired." "Luis, that's an order." Luis then left. He found himself walking around. He went to the wharf. Then that brought up memories. He remembered the time he kissed her there. He knelt down on his knees. " Why! Why did you kill Sheridan? I love her......" Luis cried out. With that he layed down on the ground, and cryed. He layed there as it rained all night.

Chapter 7: Where You Are

Where You Are "Sheridan,Sheridan!" " Luis, Luis, wake up,"Sam said. "What,what, where's Sheridan?" " You were dreaming." " I found you here this morning." " Luis,we found another clue." Luis sat up. "You did,what is it?" "This." Sam grabbed the clue out of his pocket. Luis held it in his hands. " What is it Luis." " Ah, it's the compact I gave her for Christmas after I broke her other one." " Oh,Luis I'm sorry if it brings up too many memories." " I just want her back Sam." " I know Luis." We have searchers out for her. " She should be found sometime this week, maybe even today." At the warehouse Sheridan sits in a chair asleep. She is losing blood fast. Then she wakes up. Hank is asleep with a gun in his hand lying on the floor. " I have to get out of here," Sheridan says to herself.

She pulls on the ropes that tie her to the chair. She manages to untie herself. She gets up and realizes she has dripped blood all over the wear house. She walks out the door in a hurry. But she is losing alot of blood.She faints, making a loud noise when she hits the cement. Hank hears the noise and wakes up. " Gosh,she is too sneaky!" He runs out the door, and finds her on the ground. " But not sneaky enough." He stands over her. " I guess this is the perfect time to finish her off." He pulls his gun out, and shoots!

Chapter 8: A Gun Shot

After Hank has shot Sheridan, he runs to the Bread and Breakfast where he lives for free,because Grace works there. At the wharf Sam and Luis look at each other in shock. They heard the gun shot. " Where did it come from," Luis asks Sam. " I think it came from that way," Sam says. And they head towards the gun shot. When they reach to where Sam heard the gun shot coming from which was the warehouse they spilt up in diffrent directions. Luis sees someone laying on the ground with blood all over them. " Oh my god," Luis says as he runs to the body. " Sheridan, it's you..." Luis starts to cry. He holds Sheridan up, and holds her hand. Sam comes over hearing Luis. He pauses , and looks at Luis holding Sheridan's bloody body, and kissing her hand. Sam pulls his cell phone out. "

There was a shooting down at the warehouse, and a young woman, Sheridan Crane is shot and losing alot of blood out bring a ambulance here as soon as possible!" He turns his cell phone off. Luis looks at Sheridan. " What did this psycho do to you?!" Sam walks over to Luis. " Luis a ambulance is coming. Does she have a heart beat?" Luis checks her pulse. " Oh my god, she doesn't Sam. I'll have to give her CPR." And then he does. "She is still not breathing, she's dead." "Try again Luis." And he does. " Ok, I'm getting a very weak pulse now, we're losing her!" " Sheridan no, I can't loose you!" The ambulance then drives up. Luis helps them put Sheridan on a strecher. Luis hops in the ambulance. Sam stays though to look for clues. In the ambulance Sheridan's heart stops beating again. They start to do CPR on her.

" 1 2 3 clear!" " Sheridan, don't die on me, Sheridan!" They make it to the hospital, and her heart starts to beat again. Luis runs by the stretcher as they wheel her into the E.R. He holds her hand, but then has to let go when it is time for her to go into the E.R for surgery. Luis looks at Sheridan through the window of the E.R. Then a crowd of people head down the hall. Theresa comes up, and touches Luis on his shoulder. " It will be ok Luis." Luis turns around, and Theresa hugs him as he crys.

Chapter 9: Wake Up Sheridan

Wake Up Sheridan Luis woke up. He was sitting next to Sheridan's bedside in a chair. He had slept there all night after they finally let him in her room. Luis then stands up, and looks at Sheridan who has bandages all over her. Her head, her legs, and her arms! " What happened to you Sheridan, what happened." Then Sam walked in. "Luis, the doctors have told me some inportant information about Sheridan." " What is it Sam." " Well the investigators and I had suspected this while we were looking for clues in the warehouse. In the warehouse was where Sheridan was being held kidnapped. There was a chair with a rope on it, which was covered in blood. So that means that she was bleeding before she got shot. She probably started bledding when she was infront of the church parking lot. In the warehouse there is handprints with blood on them all over it, they handprints are Sheridan's.

They are all over the wall, and the door. So that makes us conclude that she was trying to runaway, and using the wall to hold her up because she was using a enormous amount of blood. Then we think she fainted because there is alot of blood on the ground, and then near by where she got shot at there is alot too. Luis we exspected this, and now we know that it is true. Sheridan was beaten up very badly." " Oh my god Sam, she was beaten, and was still walking. I always knew she was tough, but not this tough. Why when I find that hitman, I am going to kill him."

"Luis, there is something else I need to tell you. The doctors say that if Sheridan does live, than she will probably never walk.But they don't think she is going to live." " She will live Sam, and she'll walk too. You'll see, she is tough." " Luis if she does live then I think you should tell her the truth." " What truth?" " You know what I mean, your feelings for her." " Don't worry I will."

Chapter 10: Falling Tears

Falling Tears Luis looks at Sheridan as Sam leaves. Luis puts the flower in her hair. "I know you will live Sheridan, you have to." Luis started crying again. His tears started to fall on Sheridan's face. Sheridan's eyes open. She wipes Luis' tears. "Sheridan you are awake, your alive!" Sheridan trys to talk. " Sheridan you need to save your energy, why don't you get some rest." Then the door opened. Hank came in. Sheridan sat up. "Sheridan save your energy,lay back down." But Sheridan doesn't. She stares at Hank very scarred. She trys to tell Luis about Hank, but she can't, she still doesn't have enough energy. Hank comes closer to Sheridan.

Sheridan's heart stops. Luis calls for a nurse, and they finally get her heart to start again. When Sheridan awakes again she sees Luis and Hank in the room with her. " Luis, buddy do you mind if I speak to Sheridan alone for awhile,"Hank asks planing to cut Sheridan's oxygen supply off. Sheridan sits up as Luis starts to leave. She studders a little to get it out, but finally says,"No!" Luis runs to her bedside, and holds her hand. Hank is shocked that Sheridan actusually spoke, and gets worried that she might tell Luis he shot her.

Chapter 11: The Note

" Well Luis, I think I am going to leave," said Hank. "Ok,I'll see ya later." Sheridan points to a pad of paper and a pen. " Are you trying to tell me something?" Luis notices what she is pointing to and gives it to her. She writes on it HANK SHOT ME!!!! Luis looks at the note, and then at Sheridan. " My god, Hank! I'm going to kill him!!!!!" Luis then runs out of her room. He asks a nurse where he saw Hank go. " Oh, I saw him go down the stairs. Luis runs down the stairs. He sees Hank in the parking lot. He runs after him, and tackles him. He almost kills him while beating him up, since he is so mad that he almost killed Sheridan. Sam sees Luis punching Hank. He runs up to Luis. " What are you doing Luis?! You are going to kill my brother!"

"Your brother almost killed Sheridan!" "What?!" " He would never do a thing like that!" " Sam he was working with the drug cartel! He is the one who shot Sheridan, and beat her up!" " Back off of him Luis." Luis obeys the orders from his chief of police finally. "Is this true Hank, did you shoot Sheridan?" "No!" " You son of a........," Luis says, " He's lying, Sheridan told me." " Well Hank, I really don't want to do this, but I'm going to have to take you in for questioning." Then Hank starts to run away. " I don't think so," said Luis as he punches Hank in the stomach. "Now do you believe me Sam?"

" I don't know, but I do know that I am going to have to put the handcuffs on him now." And with that Sam cuffed Hank and took him away. When Luis walked into the hospital Theresa ran up to him. " Luis, Luis!" " What Theresa!" " Sheridan's heart stopped beating again, they are doing CPR on her!" "Oh my god, Sheridan!" Luis then ran to her room. "Sheridan!" Ethan was in there holding her hand. " They think she is going to die," Ethan says. " My god, no Sheridan," Luis said as he kneels down by Sheridan, and holds her hand. " I love you Sheridan, I love you!" Ethan and Theresa watched in shock. Sheridan's heart started beating again. " Come on Ethan, let's leave Sheridan and Luis alone," Theresa said.

And they left. Luis looked at Sheridan. " I knew you wouldn't die on me." "No," Sheridan finally manages to say. " I...I...I...." " What Sheridan?" " I......I love you!" Luis looks at Sheridan in shock. " What?" And then they kissed. When the kiss finally ended, Sheridan looked behind Luis smiling. " What, what is it Sheridan?" Luis turned around to see what she was looking at. Through the window stood Theresa, Ethan, Grace, Sam, Jessica, Kay, Simone, Whitney, T.C, Eve, and Chad. They were all looking at them giggling and smiling. When Luis saw this he laughed, and turned back around to Sheridan. They started to kiss. Soon Sheridan had been in the hospital for 2 weeks. The doctors decided that if she was ever going to walk again she would need to learn now.

Chapter 12: Step By Step

So that day Sheridan went to learn how to walk again. Luis went with her to the class. The teacher and Luis helped Sheridan stand out of the wheel chair. Then she put her hand on two rails to give her support. The teacher was at the front of the rails, and Luis is at the end of the rail. " Ok, now Sheridan just take it slowly, step by step," said the doctor. So Sheridan did as the doctor told her to. She looked at Luis who was at the end of the rails. She smiled at him. Each step she took made it seem like her love for Luis grew even bigger if possible. When she reached the end she just hugged Luis with joy.

By the end of the 3rd week, Sheridan had learned to walk with out rails. And she was being aloud to go back home. So that day Luis took her home to the cottage. Sheridan was so happy to be home. She hugged Luis. Which that hug led into more. It led into a night of passion.

Chapter 13: Caught!

Sheridan slept in Luis' arms that night. They were so happy now. Together, and healthy. It took them forever to tell each other how they felt though. It wasn't too long ago when they were fighting. And now they were lying in bed together! Now that is a total flip flop! " What the hell are you to doing," a voice interupted their peace together. Luis and Sheridan sat up, holding the covers over them. It was Ethan! " What is going on?!

Never mind, I don't want to know." " Ah, Ethan there is a perfectly good explanation, that Luis will tell you!" " Gee thanks Sheridan....... Ah, we were kissing, and then it turned into a little more, and.........." " Ok, I don't want to know, I leave you two alone." And Ethan left. "So what do you think happened," Luis asked. "You tell me!" "I don't know. I guess it was love," Luis said.
