Today was the best day of my life. My wedding day. After all that we have been through we finally made it to the altar. I for one couldn’t be happier. Just to look at the smile that graces Sheridan’s face fills me with a love and happiness I have never felt before. She looks absolutely radiant in her gown as she dances with Ethan. They twirl and she gives a smile that warms my heart. I love her so much. She is my life.

It’s our turn to dance now. I lead her to the floor and we sway gently to the music. She lays her head on my shoulder and I can feel her warm breath on my neck as she sighs. I hold her tighter, feeling content to have her in my arms. When she lifts her head, I feel my breath catch in my throat. The love in her eyes blows me away. I never knew it was possible to love someone this much. I know I will never be able to express how much she means to me, so I lean down and give her a gentle kiss instead. It’s been a long journey to get here. Most people would have given up, but not us. We love each other too much. I never believed in soul mates, but I do now, for I know that Sheridan is mine. Night has fallen and it’s time for the ceremony to come to an end. We cut the cake and she tosses the bouquet. I get to remove her garter and she blushes as I make a show of it. She is so adorable to me in that moment. Theresa and Chad catch them respectively. It’s time for us to say our goodbyes. We have a plane to catch later in the evening. We’ll be in Spain for two glorious weeks for our honeymoon. I can’t wait. Something tells me that I will remember this trip for the rest of my life.
