Bo & Hope #21 April 19 - June 18, 1990: 8 hour original edit

DVD #21A Bo roars back on his motorcycle to save a damsel in distress in Australia. He then runs into Steve who is jumped at a bar and saves the day. Bo tells Steve that he is sorry to hear about Stephanie. Steve wants to take him to see Kayla. Bo says it isn’t a good time as he is being followed. He tells Steve that Hope is taking Sean Douglas and heading to another country. Steve shows Bo the flyer of the woman who has kidnapped Stephanie. Bo recognizes her as the woman he saved earlier that day. He tells Steve that the baby was fussy and the woman said she was going to take her to the doctor. Steve rushes out to go check out every doctor’s office and Bo joins him, “Here we go again!”

4/20 Steve is in Australia looking for his kidnapped baby. Bo & Steve find the doctor that's treating baby Stephanie. They beg him to help find Steve’s daughter. He reports that a woman did bring in a baby matching this description.

Later, Steve & Bo go back to the dive bar. They both worry over the safety of their families and then chuckle at the irony of these two now devoted family men. Bo gets a message to meet Hope in the alley at a later time. He is concerned as she is supposed to have left town for her safety. He says at least no one is likely to see her in the alley, but does find it an odd place to meet. He worries that he hopes she is okay.

4/23 When Bo & Steve go out to the alley to meet with Hope. A dummy with a brunette wig is hit by a car. Bo races to find it isn’t his wife. Two goons try to get the best of the boys in an attempt to kidnap Bo. It doesn’t work and the goons race off. The boys take off as sirens blare in the distance. Back at the bar, Bo tells Steve that he is very worried that there is an obvious threat against his family.

Bo calls home and talks to Shawn D. He tells Hope that he loves her, but he doesn’t know how long this will last. Steve accuses Bo that he knows who is following him but is holding out on him. Bo admits that he though it was Victor behind his tail. Now he knows after what happened in the alley that Victor isn’t the guy. Steve doesn’t understand why he is so sure. Bo admits that SOB is his father. Bo says he wishes he could go see Kayla but it isn’t safe. Steve stops him on his way out and tells him that it is good to have him back.

4/26 Julie finds Bo. She asks why Victor is so eager to find him. She also points out that if she found him that Victor isn’t far behind. Her driver says they are being followed and Julie tells him to lose them! Julie tells Bo that Victor has done nothing but bring misery to his family. He had Kayla framed for murder and that is why her and Steve are on the run. She has been cleared of all charges but she doesn’t know it yet as no one can find them. Julie has a plan to bring Bo & Hope back to Salem. She says they can stay in her secure penthouse. He says that his family’s safety is his business and he will take care of them and will handle it his way. She asks him to stay away from Hope that night. She has found a safe place for them to stay and asks him to not lead whoever is after him straight to his family. Julie tries to convince Bo to stop running and stay put in Salem with his family.

4/27 The beautiful Hope reunites with Julie in Paris. She meets Shawn Douglas. Hope wants to settle down in Salem with her family. Julie assures her that Bo’s wanderlust will fade. Hope sadly admits that keeping her safe wasn’t the only reason her and Bo are living separately, that it has been hard. Hope says she wants the three of them to be together but not the way it has been with all of the traveling. Bo calls and when Julie tries to stall, he demands that he wants to see his family NOW! Julie whispers to Hope that he isn’t going to give up. Julie arranges to pick him up and bring him to see his family.

Bo arrives and the fabulous Bo & Hope are reunited on screen for the first time in three years! There is a moment of awkwardness and then she rushes into his arms for a hug. He promises that he is doing everything he can to find out who is following them. He tells her that it isn’t Victor, that he just spoke to them. He tells her that Victor told him about the lie and that he is his father. Hope wants to know if that is why he is avoiding going back to Salem? He holds her face tenderly and tells her he wants to make it work.

Hope tells him that it is time to go home. They have had a wonderful three years of romance and adventure, but she wants Shawn D to know his family. She tells him that if they are together, they can deal with anything. He insists that he is living his life the way he wants with only her and Shawn D. He tells her that he needs her. She says she can’t, it is just not enough for her anymore. She starts to walk away and he pulls her back and kisses her. He tells her that he will go back to his hotel and tomorrow he will be going back to the boat. He wants her with him. Shawn D. runs out and into his papa’s arms. He tells her that she knows what he wants and he will be waiting for her.

Victor has found Bo in Paris. Bo wants to know what he wants, why he won’t leave this alone? Victor tells Bo he wants his son back. He is getting older and wants to put his life in order. Bo says he did the right thing all of those years ago and why can’t he leave it alone. Victor says the sacrifice is too hard and he has given up his chance of having a family. Victor insists that he is a Kiriakis.. that he isn’t a Brady and that is why he left town. Victor says that the ruse was a mistake and it isn’t too late, not for them and not for Shawn D. Victor says he is his family and he is there when he is ready.

5/1 Bo arrives and asks Hope if she is coming home to him. She tells him that she loves him and wants to spend the rest of her life with him. Hope tells Bo she wants to return to Salem. She asks him to think of their son. He says that Shawn D. loves traveling. She tells him that it is time to go home, that Shawn D needs his family. She admits that she needs her family too! She tells him that she is going back to Salem. She has loved their travels but insists that it is time to move on. He does admit that he misses the Bradys. She begs him not to make her choose. She realizes that they want different things.

A huge present box arrives with a tricycle for Shawn D. Its from Victor. Bo tells her that is Victor’s thing, he buys people. Victor calls and Hope tells him that no one there wants to talk to him. He wants to talk to Bo, who tells him the same thing and hangs up. He tells her this is why he doesn’t want to return to Salem. Hope suggests that he deals with Victor once and for all and set limits, as this situation isn’t going away regardless of where they live. Bo explodes that she is pushing him from one side and Victor from the other. Bo goes back to his hotel and is jumped, knocked out, and kidnapped.

5/3: Hope worries that Bo hasn’t called her back. She doesn’t want to return to Salem without her. Julie advises her not to leave without resolving things with him. Hope thinks Bo left her, she tells Julie that if she doesn’t reach Bo by that night that she will return to Salem with Julie. She goes to see Bo and finds his room empty. She returns and heartbrokenly tells Julie that Bo is gone, he left behind a picture of them together. She cries that he obviously doesn’t love her as much as she thought he did.

Later, a somber Julie comes in with a letter that was delivered for Hope. Hope cries as she reads about how much he loves her, but they want different things and he wants to keep traveling. He continues that he is doing what he thinks is best for them, he hates their fighting. He asks her not to come looking for him, he says that she will realize that this is the best thing, he loves her too much to ruin what they once had. She cries that she has finally lost him.

Bo meets his captor, Ernesto Toscano. He tells him that he will be his host for the rest of Bo’s life! Ernesto forces Bo to write Hope a letter or else. Bo tells him that she would never believe it. Ernesto warns him this will be his last contact with Hope and his son so he encourages him to pour his heart out. He then introduces him to Johnny. Johnny proceeds to rattle off personal details of his life and his history with Hope.

Ernesto tells Bo that he will need to learn about Johnny’s life as they will be trading places and he will assume Johnny’s life. He tells Bo that Victor is his greatest enemy. Johnny will pose as Bo and live with Victor as his dearest son and will destroy him from the inside. Ernesto tells him that next to his revenge on Victor, his greatest pleasure would be to see Bo suffer. Ernesto shares with Bo that Victor stole his wife and now he plans on stealing his daughter, Isabella. Ernesto states that now it is time that Victor loses someone he loves, his son!

When Ernesto leaves them alone together, Bo tries to seduce him away from Ernesto with promises of a big payoff from Victor. Johnny tells him it was a good try but he already has his sweet deal.

5/4: Hope & Julie arrive home in Salem and are reunited with Mr & Mrs H. Her gram refuses to believe Bo & Hope are over and tells her she knows Bo and she knows that no way would he give up on Hope. She knows how much he loves Hope. She refuses to allow Hope to give up on her marriage.

Back at Julie’s penthouse, Sean & Caroline arrive to see Hope and their grandson! Victor soon arrives. Sean urges Julie to send him away. Hope says she will see him. Sean & Caroline leave. Hope tells Victor that she doesn’t want him within 300 feet of her son, and tells him that Bo doesn’t want anything to do with him. He tells her he will be in his son and grandson’s life and he will be back.

Later, Hope sadly tells Julie that perhaps she made a mistake coming back to Salem without Bo. She misses him desperately. Hope stands on her balcony and thinks of Bo, flashbacks of their wedding, New Orleans, birth of their son, sailing away.

Bo continues to try to entice Johnny to bail on his deal with Ernesto and promises him more money than he can imagine. Johnny laughs that he can imagine quite a bit. Bo gives Johnny $200 cash to make a phone call. He calls and reaches Hope. He starts to tell her why he left town so suddenly but Ernesto comes upon him with a gun and threatens to kill him. Bo switches gears and tells her that he is not coming back to Salem. Ernesto hangs up the phone and tells him that his world has changed. Ernesto tells Johnny good job with the set up. Ernesto brags that he wasn’t sure Hope would accept the letter but now he is sure she will be through with Bo.

Bo & Johnny are taking into surgery and Ernesto tells Bo to enjoy his last few minutes of being Bo, that when he wakes up he will be Johnny!

5/8: Melissa and Hope talk about her and Bo. Hope goes to Roman’s and is reunited with him. She later has more flashbacks of Bo & Hope making love in New Orleans.

Ernesto meets with Fake Bo and has him practice speaking as Bo. He is being sent to Salem to replace Bo. The bandaged man is informed about Bo's life, as he and his boss (Ernesto) talk about the real Bo being held captive.

5/10: Julie overhears Hope telling Shawn D that she has to go away for a few days. Hope tells Julie that leaving Bo in Paris was a mistake and she is returning to look for him. Julie suggests that she be patient for just a little bit longer as Bo might be in a situation where he can’t contact her. Hope admits she s afraid of losing Bo. Julie suggests using Victor to find Bo. She points out that Victor has vast resources and he also wants to find Bo. Julie says let Victor find Bo and bring him home. Hope is hesitant to get involved with Victor after everything he has done. Julie offers to take it on, and considers Victor a challenge.

Ernesto has the bandages removed from his Bo who now looks like Johnny. He is gagged and restrained after he tries to attack Ernesto. Next up is the reveal of the fake Bo, amazing looks and sounds just like Bo! Bo observes that Ernesto must have been pretty desperate to go through all of this. He says he is out to destroy Victor and he is going to start by destroying Bo’s marriage to Hope!

Hope runs into Isabella on the dock. Isabella confides in her how stubborn Roman is. Hope laughs that is a Brady trait. She assures Isabella that all the work is so worth it.

5/14: Ernesto & Bo review plans before Bo returns to Salem. Bo reviews his history with Hope and Ernesto is very impressed. Ernesto gloats over his plans. He plans on using Isabella to bring down Victor. Bo asks who she is? Ernesto gripes that she killed his beautiful daughter, Marina. He will make her pay and he vows to regret the day she was born! Ernesto warns Bo that he will be watching him and if Bo double crosses him, that his life won’t be worth anything. Ernesto warns him that if Bo betrays him that everyone Bo loves will be at risk, his friends, his family, the beautiful wife.

Hope comments on how beautiful Julie looks. She shares that she has a date! Hope is shocked when Julie says it is with Nico, Victor’s henchman! Hope has more classic flashbacks, when he gave her the music box for their anniversary.

5/16: Nico arrives with good news, Bo will be flying back to Salem that day! Bo returns to Salem. Ernesto gives Bo a warning when he asks about the doctor, Ernesto has eliminated him and suggests Bo keep that in mind if he doesn’t want the same thing to happen to him! Bo is curious what will happen to Isabella? Ernesto promises that she will die too!

Hope runs into Victor and he suggests that now that Bo knows he is a Kiriakis that he is going to want to live like one. Hope gets a message to meet her at the pier. She excitedly tells Julie that it must be from Bo!

Bo & Hope are reunited! She runs into his arms and he holds her tenderly.

5/17: Hope is thrilled that he returned and tells him that is all that matters. Bo tells her that he wants to make peace with Victor, that he wants to find out what he means to be his son. Bo tells her that he wants to move in with his father. She shakes her head no. He asks her to come with him. She refuses and says that she doesn’t want their son to be around Victor, or influenced by him.

Bo arrives and tells Victor that he wants to move in. He says that some things can’t be denied and he is a Kirikis and he is willing to give it a shot. Victor is hesitant as Bo burned him before. Bo says this time he wants to take a look at the truth and see if he can live with it? Victor agrees this is something that can’t be denied and welcomes him back. Bo moves in with Victor.

Hope tells her gran that Bo wants them to move into Victor’s. She says what he says doesn’t make any sense. Hope doesn’t understand the sudden turn around. Mrs. H agrees and says there is something going on.

Bo stares at the portrait in the hallway. Victor announces that is Loretta Toscano. Hope storms in to see her husband, demanding answers! She states that they both know he doesn’t belong there. Bo tells her that if she really loves him, that she will understand that this is important to him.

5/18: Hope goes to see the Brady’s and tells Caroline that Bo is back in town and living with his father. Shawn walks in and realizes Hope is talking about Bo being Victor’s son. He is stunned and stumbles out crying, “You Lie”. Caroline wants to know where Bo is, she has to talk to him? She tells him he is at Victor’s mansion. Caroline demands to know why Bo would turn to Victor of all people?

Justin is furious to see that Bo is back. He is about ready to deck him until Victor interrupts. Justin moves out and leaves his clothes. Bo is smug at his upset and departure. Victor asks if he can trust him?

Caroline goes to see Bo and confronts him. She asks if he knows what he is doing to his family? He reminds her that Victor is his father. She can’t believe that he is blaming her. He snarks, should he blame Victor? After all she lied to him too. She is disappointed over how he is talking to her, so disrespectful, very un-Bo like. She starts crying and Victor walks in. She is furious that he is obviously happy at Bo’s return to his life. Bo leaves saying he isn’t ready for this particular little family reunion. As he leaves, Victor tells him there is a surprise for him down by the river.

Victor & Caroline have it out. He says he isn’t going to lose him again. She swears that he has never had Bo and he never will. She tells him that one day Bo will realize Victor’s true values and when that day comes, he will lose Bo for good.

Hope runs into an upset Shawn on the docks. He admits that Bo never quite fit in, they all saw it. He cries that he loved him like his own son. Hope assures him that Bo IS his son, that he raised him not Victor. She promises that Bo is his son and he can’t give up on him, none of them can. She says if they have to fight for him then that is what they have to do.

Bo finds their boat, the “Fancy Face” waiting for him. He goes down to the stateroom and lights a candle and looks at pictures of his family tenderly. Hope finds him there. She softly says, “it is nice to be home isn’t it?” She sadly asks him what happened to their fairy tale? She says that he is her life, the best part of her life and she won’t let go of that. She grabs his face and kisses him and he is lost. She tells him she loves him and they make their way to their bed where the kissing continues to “Broken Wings”.

5/21: Bo & Hope continue making love. Later, he holds her tenderly in his arms. She happily chatters that she found the perfect place for them to live. He interrupts her and tells her that he has something very serious to tell her. Ernesto calls at that moment interrupting them. He demands to know if Bo has done anything to endanger his plan. He warns him that he is watching both him and Hope day and night. He then threatens that it would be a shame for something to happen to the pretty Hope.

Bo hangs up and immediately pulls away from her. She tries to reach out to him again but realizes that she lost him again, she knows it was something to do with the phone call. He excuses that it was just a business call for Victor. She can’t believe that he is letting Victor destroy his life. She kisses him sweetly and asks him what is more important than that. He points out that Victor is his father. She reminds him that she is the mother of his child. He asks her not to make him choose, he has to do this, that is the way it has to be. Hope asks him one more time to come back to her and tell Victor that he doesn’t need him. She says that is it then, that is the end of their marriage.

Roman shows up as Hope is storming out and asks what he did to her? Bo tells him that it isn’t any of his business. Bo reams Roman pushing him away. Roman tells him if that is the way he wants it, but he is making a mistake but that never stopped him before. After Roman leaves, Bo swears that Ernesto is going to pay!

Roman finds Hope as she wonders why is Bo doing this? They commiserate and she cries she doesn’t know what she is going to do without Bo and talks about divorce. Ernesto calls Bo and tells him that he knows that Hope was very upset by whatever he said to her and compliments him on pushing her away. Bo agrees they had a deal.

5/23: Toscano reaches out to get an update from Bo and tells him that it is time for the next phase of his plan. Victor will be receiving an invitation for the cruise honoring Loretta and he wants Bo to talk him into going. He asks him about the status of things with Hope and Bo tells him he has thought of a plan to drive Hope away.

Hope comes home to find Julie entertaining Victor. He is being honored as philanthropist of the year. Hope wants to know what she is up to, and Victor does as well. He knows that she up to something. She acknowledges that he is generous in his donations. He tells Julie that she is at her most charming when she is lying through her teeth.

As Victor’s elevator arrives, Bo gets off and wants to see his son. Hope says he is sleeping. He wants her to wake him up as he wants to take him home with him. She is livid, and he tells her it is only right that he spends time with both families. Victor agrees and she tells him to shut up. She refuses and Bo tells her that he will get a lawyer if he has too. She will think about it and let him know. She is heartbroken.

She goes to him on the boat and he stands firm and says he thought she would stand by him. She says all of these years have been for nothing, and gives him back his wedding ring. He doesn’t want to take it and tells her they will work it out. He winds up taking the ring back. She sobs doesn’t he want to fight for them? Doesn’t he even care anymore? As she walks off, he kisses her ring. Ernesto calls in that moment and congratulates him on getting rid of his wife. He tells him the next step is a test and after that there will be no question about his loyalty.

5/24: Hope tells Julie that she is meeting Bo, Julie gets her hopes up that they are getting back together. Hope claims it is just so Shawn D can see his father. Julie notices she isn’t wearing her wedding ring. Hope admits she gave it back to Bo, the way he has been acting lately doesn’t give her any choice. Julie receives an invitation to the Cruise honoring Loretta Toscano, Julie is puzzled by the invite.

Bo talks to Ernesto, pretending to be Johnny. He wants him to continue to keep Hope at a distance and play the loving son to Victor. When Bo asks about Isabella, Ernesto reports that she is involved with Roman. Ernesto promises him that in due time every last one of his enemies will be destroyed.

Shawn comes upon Bo on the pier and tells him that it is good to see him. He learns that Victor arranged to have the boat brought back. Shawn is disappointed in Bo’s relationship with Victor. Bo reminds him that Victor is his father. He defends that he is doing what he has to do to protect his family. As Shawn turns to walk away, Bo asks how is ma is doing? Shawn tells him that she is heartbroken. He calls him Pop and Bo suddenly stops and asks what he wants of him.

Shawn wants him to come home to his family where he belongs. Shawn tells him that he is uncaring and unfeeling and he never would have said that about Bo before now. Bo insists that he is living where he belongs. Shawn says that he raised him as his own from birth and he swears he no longer knows who he is. Victor comes upon them, Bo stops Victor from leaving.

Bo takes the opportunity to announce that he is a Kiriakis in front of Victor. Shawn leaves suddenly as Victor looks at him suspiciously. Victor shares that the portrait of Loretta was stolen from his home. He asks if Bo knows anything about the theft. Victor says he doubts Bo’s loyalty as he still has ties to the Bradys. He recognizes the connection with the Bradys and Bo offers to break that connection.

At the Brady’s, Julie and Hope are talking to Caroline. Bo enters with Victor and Hope questions how could Bo bring Victor there knowing how they feel about him. He tells him that Victor is his father and it is time they accepted that. He is a Kiriakis and that is where he belongs. They argue again about the lies she told him. She insists that she really does love him, how can he possibly doubt that. She says if he can do that then maybe he really does belong with Victor. He tells her that he is tired of living under false pretenses and to just let him be who he is. She asks if that is what he really wants and he says yes, he is sorry but yes.

Victor takes Shawn D out to the car. Hope stops him and tells him they need to talk. When they are alone, she asks why he had to do that. She confronts him that this is a charade. She knows there is something pulling him away from them but she loves him too damn much to stop fighting for him.

Dvd #21B 5/25 Bo stops over at Isabella’s and meets her. Roman hides as they talk. Bo is pumping her for info on Victor’s past with Loretta. She insists there was nothing romantic between Victor & Loretta. She tells him about the cruise ship her father had built for her mother. She shares that her and Roman are going on the maiden voyage. Bo instantly looks concerned and tries to discourage her from taking him with her. Roman comes out and wants to know what Bo is up to? Bo tries to get Roman not to go on the cruise. Roman wants to know what Bo knows about this cruise. Bo plays if off that he was just trying to be friendly with Isabella.

Ernesto talks to Bo and is irate that he went to see Isabella and warns him that he doesn’t contact anyone unless Ernesto asks him too. Bo wants to know why he didn’t tell him Roman was going on the cruise. Ernesto wants to know why “Johnny” cares about Roman’s welfare. Ernesto informs him that Victor received his invitation for the cruise and didn’t seem to want to go. Bo assures him that he will work on it.

After he gets off the phone, Ernesto tells Johnny that he is going to leave him underground to rot (he thinks he is Bo Brady). Ernesto promises that no one is ever going to see him again. He breaks free and tries to over power Ernesto. He is restrained by the sudden appearance of a guard.

Roman tells Isabella that Bo is up to his eyeballs in whatever this is. He has been skeptical about Bo suddenly showing up in town and now he is pumping her for info.

Back home, Victor shows Bo the invite. Bo is enthusiastic about Victor going on the cruise. Victor stops him and tells him that he knows what he is doing.

5/28: Victor is sure that Bo is scheming, he figures Bo is pushing him to go on the cruise so he can search the house top to bottom while Victor is gone. Bo admits that he does want him to go on the cruise but so he can go with him and they can spend time together, father & son. Victor says he doesn’t trust Ernesto, even though he is dead. Bo knows Victor still wants his revenge for what Ernesto did to Loretta and says maybe it isn’t too late.

Julie is concerned when Mickey comes by to see Hope. She is giving Bo divorce papers. Julie is suspicious at Hope’s carefree attitude and asks her what she is up to. Hope plans on giving Bo a shock to get through to him. Hope shares that she thinks Bo is into something dangerous. Julie comments on her giving Bo an ultimatum. playing tricks to hang onto her husband. Hope says she tried honesty and it didn’t work. Hope points out that this isn’t the first time he has pulled something like this and if she keeps putting up with it, he will never stop. Julie asks her if she is sure she wants to risk it? Hope says she has no other choice. Bo has forced her hand so now she is going to force his.

Hope arrives and hands Bo divorce papers. She tells him all he has to do is sign them and then they can both get on with their lives. He takes them and rips them up and throws them. She pushes him to come home to her. She points out that he ripped up the divorce papers and he wouldn’t have done that if he didn’t still love her. He leans in and tells her that he loves her and everything will be just fine, he just needs a little more time. She holds him and looks into his eyes.

She reads between the lines and tells him that he doesn’t have to handle whatever he is into on his own. She wants to help him. He denies anything and tells her not to be hasty. She wants a reason. He tells her that he gave her one, that he loves her. She agrees but warns him that she can’t wait forever and the longer he takes the smaller the chance of them getting back together. He asks her to be patient just a bit longer. He tells her he doesn’t like when she crowds him.

She teases him that if she hadn’t pushed him back then that he probably still wouldn’t have held her hand. She worries what if she loses him, she can’t live with that. She tells him that she doesn’t think he can live without this either and kisses him soundly. Then says, “Now you tell me that you wouldn’t miss that!” She begs him to tell her what he is involved in? At that moment, Victor comes in and they jump apart from each other. After Hope leaves, Victor agrees to go on the cruise with Bo and says it could be very interesting.

Julie invites Hope to go on the cruise with her but she refuses and says she has to stay here and work on Bo.

5/29: Roman shows up to visit with Hope. He tells her that he thinks Bo is involved in something dangerous. She wants to know what he knows? He asks her if she has noticed him doing things unusual for him, hanging out with strange people? He is trying to figure out what Bo is up to. Roman fills her in on Bo suddenly showing up at Isabella’s pumping her for info on her past and her relationship. Hope tells Roman about Bo asking her yesterday for a little more time and she fells it was some sort of a message.

Roman & Hope watch Jennifer’s newscast about the cruise ship “Loretta” as she interviews Isabella about the dedication and the cruise, talking about her father’s great love for his wife. During what they think is a break though they are airing Live, Victor confronts Isabella. He says that Loretta never loved Ernesto that he loved her. He announces that he is going on this cruise with his son Bo to show that how much he loved Loretta. Ernesto watches furiously.

Roman asks Hope if there isn’t something odd going on with this cruise? He suggests that this might be a set up by Victor. He doesn’t like it. Later, Hope figures out that Julie knew that Bo was going to be on the cruise when she invited her. She suggests Hope consider going.

5/30: Roman & Isabella find Guiseppe's body. Stephanie’s homecoming, Adrienne gets back from her seminar. Kayla and Steve head home with Stephanie. Shane talks to Shawn and Caroline about Kim avoiding him.

Hope wants Bo to go with her to the family (Brady) meeting. She tells him that everyone are going to be there. She doesn’t know what it is about but it is more important than what is going on with them. He realizes that she won’t take know for an answer and he finally agrees.

Bo & Hope arrive and his parents are thrilled to see him. Caroline says she wants to talk to him and the room clears leaving them alone. She tells him that he has acted strangely since his return, but him coming tonight tells her that he is still her Bo. Roman soon arrives as everyone gathers and comments on being surprised to see Bo.

Jo comes into the room and tells everyone that she gathered everyone here for a surprise and brings Steve into the room. He stops everyone and says that Kayla has a surprise for them and she enters the room with her sweet baby girl in her arms. Bo meets his niece and tells her how hard it was not being able to see her in Australia. Shane and Bo talk but Shane starts questioning him about why he is living with Victor and not with his family. Bo tells him almost in code, that he just needs a little more time. Steve gives a nice little speech about now knowing what it is like to have a real family. Kayla joins him and says how much she loves everyone and how lucky little Stephanie is to have them for her family.

Hope takes Bo home and tells him she would sleep a lot better laying next to him that night. We can see the yearning in his eyes for his beautiful wife but quickly shuts it down and says goodnight. She tells him softly that she loves him. Johnny escapes from Ernesto's cave.

5/31: Hope arrives to see Bo on the boat. She stuns him when she says that she has decided to move in with him and Victor. She reminds him that they lived together at Victor’s before, working together. She begs him to let her help him. Kayla calls and invites him on a picnic and he gives his regrets. After he gets off the phone, Hope talks him into them joining him. She says that Shawn D really misses his dad.

The two families arrive at the park. Steve talks to Bo privately and asks him what is going on with Bo and Victor? He demands to know what is going on. Bo warns him to drop it, that he is keeping his family safe and to back off.

Johnny makes it to Bo's yacht, and intercepts a phone call for Bo from Ernesto and pretends to be Bo, or rather Johnny being Bo. Johnny surprises Bo in the park and wants him money. Bo pulls him over to the tunnel and tells him Ernesto has men everywhere watching him. Bo directs him to the tunnel underneath of the restaurant “Wings’. He just leaves as Hope comes up and suggests they have dinner as a family together. He says he can’t make it and rushes off.

Bo meets Johnny in the tunnel. He tells him that Toscano left him in that tunnel to die. Johnny wants his money for a certain plastic surgery that never happened. Bo grabs him and tells him to keep his mouth shut and he will get the money. He tells him the Toscano cruise is leaving next week. Johnny questions that Bo doesn’t seem like the kinda of man to let his old man walk into a trap. Bo says he has a plan of his very own. Johnny warns him to be careful as Ernesto is pretty sharp.

Back on the boat, Bo & Hope have words again and she leaves telling him that the cost of whatever he is into is getting pretty high. After she leaves, he cries for his Fancy Face and yells at Toscano that he is going to get him for this. Ernesto plans a special cruise for his guests.

6/4 Johnny approaches Hope and tells her that he is a friend of Bo’s. She is skeptical and he starts telling her about her trip to New Orleans with Bo, staying over in the mansion. Bo makes a brief stop at Justin’s wedding and then is off to lunch with Hope. He finds her sitting there with Johnny and demands to know what he is doing there?

Johnny leaves and Hope questions him about who that was? Bo says someone he just met once and he doesn’t like him. She tells him the guy mentioned their bubble bath in New Orleans and wants to know what else he told him? He warns her the guy is a creep and to stay away from him. She refuses unless Bo tells her why?

Bo confronts Johnny in the tunnel. He warns him that if anything happens to Hope because of Johnny that he will regret the day he was born.

6/5: Bo manipulates Victor as Ernesto insists he play the tape. Victor demands to know where that music came from, he says it came in the mail. Victor shares that was his and Loretta’s song. Victor brings up that no plans are in place for Niko to go on the cruise. Bo says he doesn’t need his bodyguard, that perhaps he can stay home this trip, after all Victor will have Bo by his side 24/7. Victor agrees. Johnny encourages Bo to nail Toscano for both of them!

Bo asks Victor for money to take care of some things. Victor tells him he can withdraw whatever he likes. Bo takes money to Johnny. Johnny doesn’t understand why Bo doesn’t just tell Hope. Bo tells him that he obviously didn’t study up very much on her as she would just jump into this trouble.

Julie tries to convince Hope to go on the cruise. She doesn’t think Bo wants her there. Hope tells Mrs. H how frustrated she is with Bo. Her gran assures her that if anyone can get through to Bo that it will be Hope. She urges Hope to fight for him, it isn’t like her to give up. She reminds Hope that nothing would have stopped her when she first fell head over heels in love with him. As Julie departs for the cruise, she asks Hope one last time to go with her but is turned down. Before she leaves, Mrs. H tells Hope that there is no better reason to fight for her man than her little boy.

Mrs. H then runs into Bo in Wings. She gives him grief for not coming around more often. He promises to come see her when he gets back from the cruise but gives her hope that everything will be okay when he gets back. She is encouraged at this good news and suggests that he tell his wife and urges him to say goodbye to her.

Bo goes to the penthouse and meets with Shawn D. He tells his son a story about a sailor boy’s papa having to go off to a ship and fight a warlock and dragons. The papa had to pretend that he was under the spell so he could get close enough to the warlock to destroy it. This made the sailor boy and his papa unhappy. But sailor boy’s papa destroys the warlock and they live happily ever after.

Hope comes in as he is saying goodbye to his family. She ask if he will be coming back to his family. He tells her again that she has to know that he loves her. He leans in and kisses her and holds her tight. He promises her that he will be back. Everyone is on board the airplane leaving for the cruise as Ernesto eagerly awaits their arrival.

6/6: Hope talks to Julie and tells her once again she isn’t going on the cruise. Later, Hope decides to go on the cruise. She asks Kayla to take care of Shawn D for a few days.

6/7: The Cruise of deception begins. Bo sadly holds onto the wedding ring Hope returned to him and has a flashback of her. Victor comes upon him and Bo tells him that he does hope to work things out with her. Victor is happy to hear it. He offers if Bo wants to go back to Salem to work things out with her, that he will go with him. Bo is touched. Victor assures him that he just wants his happiness and he knows Hope makes him happy. Victor is so mournful over losing Loretta he wants Bo & Hope to have every chance of working things out.

Victor wants to bring Hope on the cruise, Julie had the same idea but is unable to reach Hope. Ernesto calls Bo and welcomes him aboard. He thanks Bo for helping him gather all of his enemies in one place. He wants to know when his next instructions are? Ernesto seems surprised as his eagerness and tells “Johnny” to be patient.

6/8: Victor walks in while Bo is talking to Ernesto and asks who he is talking to. Bo says it is Hope back in Salem. Victor catches Bo in a lie and calls him on it. He knows that Hope isn’t in Salem.

Julie and Bo meet up on the deck, her dressed as a character out of a Shakesperan play. He is dressed as the dashing Rhett Butler. They talk about Hope not being on the cruise with him. He promises that when he sees Hope again, she iwill not be confused about how he feels about her. Ernesto plans his revenge against Victor.

The game begins on the Cruise of Deception. Hope surprises Bo, dressed as Scarlet to his Rhett Butler for the masquerade ball. Ernesto in a masked costume (and his voice disguised) appears and promises that the magic has just begun.

6/11: Masked Ernesto introduces the magic show and selects Isabella. She disappears in the magic show. Bo is shocked to see her. He worriedly asks if Shawn D is with him. Bo tells her again that he is here to develop a relationship with his father and if she is there that is more difficult. He tells her it would be better for her to leave. She tells him that it is a beautiful night full of music, he doesn’t hear the music. She touches him and tells him to listen with his heart. He takes her in his arms as the music swells. The costumes remind them of Oak Alley and the first time they ever made love. She is so happy to be in his arms, dancing in the moonlight. She asks him if he can feel it? He marvels at how beautiful she is and he wants her so much. She counters not as much as she wants him! He kisses her as the music swells again, twirling her around in a big romantic moment.

Hope challenges him that she knows that the real reason he wants her to leave is to try to protect her. She tells him that Shawn D told her the story about defeating the mean old warlock. She is convinced there is danger on this cruise. He tells her that is the reason for her to get off this cruise. She tells him that he must know that sooner or later she will be involved in whatever he is involved in. She insists that she is staying and she is going into that ballroom. He tells her that is an even worse idea. She asks him to escort her and says he can then protect her. He laughs that he can never win with her, and kisses her softly.

Julie is thrilled to see Hope enter. Julie asks her if she will be sharing her stateroom that evening. Hope smiles, not if she can help it1 Roman tells Bo about Isabella disappearing and reappearing. He wants to know if he was part of that. Bo denies it and says he wasn’t.

On deck one of Ernesto’s men warns “Johnny” not to get caught up in the action, referring to Hope. Hope comes out and tells him that she wants to make love to him. He tells her he can’t do it. She seductively points out this is a very romantic environment on this cruise and she promises it is only a matter of time until he comes to her. She says she will be waiting and kisses him before she leaves him standing alone in the dark. *Episode is darker

6/13: Hope tells Julie that Bo turned her down. Meanwhile, Bo is studying charts trying to figure out where Ernesto is taking the cruise ship. Julie & Victor play matchmaker for Bo & Hope. Julie has a romantic luncheon set up in her stateroom. Bo & Victor soon arrive and they grin at the set up. Julie and Victor tell them that they belong together and they leave them alone together. Hope tells him that she didn’t have anything to do with this and she would understand if he has to leave. He says they can’t let the food go to waste and pops open the champagne! She gets misty eyed and stares into his eyes.

The food is the exact same meal that he served her when he kidnapped her and took her off in the hot air ballon. He remembers how stubborn she was. She vows that he is her heart, her life and all that matters and they kiss.

An announcement over the loud speaker requesting each guest by name to report to the Grand Ballroom. They are each given a script for a play that they are requested to put on Friday. The play is called, “Fatal Passions”, the theme of the play is love. Mr. & Mrs. Brady will play a bride & groom that are very much in love but torn apart by his evil father. Jack & Jenn are narrators.

Victor is given the script as the evil father. Isabella & Roman are given the most tragic parts, married but he will lose his life by the evil father. Julie starts to object and Roman silences her and agrees, given her a look so she falls silent. Victor absolutely refuses to participate. Roman tells him they don’t have a choice. He says that someone hand picked them and they want them to do the play real bad. Roman says they are going to take what they give them and try to beat them at their own game. Roman knows this isn’t just a play but about their lives.

6/14 The cruise continues. Julie talks to Hope about her and Bo with this play that is being performed by them all. Hope plans on taking full advantage of this opportunity to do the play with Bo and being up there with him all night. Julie is happy she was right, that this cruise will bring them back together.

Victor stops by to see if Bo wants to join him for breakfast. Bo tries to convince Victor to play his part in the play. Ernesto calls and warns Bo that whatever he has to do, Victor must do the play and play his part. Ernesto warns him that he is watching him at all times and has his stateroom on camera. He tells him the fetching Mrs. Brady is at the door and he warns him to keep his distance from her or Ernesto might have to eliminate them both!

Hope comes in and is seductive with Bo and starts moving towards him. He grabs her hand and pulls her out of the statement and down the hall, away from prying eyes. He takes her to a secluded part of the ship and tells her that they have to be very careful about this play. She tells him to stop wasting time talking and starts kissing him. She tells him they have both waited long enough!

As they kiss, a spy watches them and then turns away knowingly. Bo starts pushing her away, worried about her. She tells him again that it is only a matter of time until he gives into her.

At rehearsal, Roman is upset that Victor is holding up the play by not showing up. Roman & Bo start arguing as Bo defends Victor. Victor shows up and Bo pitches to him why they have to do this play. Bo agrees with Roman that he is right, something is going on here and they aren’t going to find out what it is unless they do the play. He tells him that someone is manipulating Victor and if they do this play they can find out who is behind this. Victor finally agrees and Julie starts directing her cast.

The spy tells Ernesto that he followed Bo & Hope going down into the hold together. Ernesto determines that “Johnny” has lost himself in his role and has forgotten what this play is all about. But no matter, he is of little consequence in the scheme of things.

After rehearsal, Hope stops Bo and tells him that she wants to practice the end of scene 4 to make sure they get it right. She leans in and kisses him deeply.

6/15 Cruise of Deception. Hope has her wedding gown on, as she thinks of her and Bo's wedding. Julie and Hope talk about how creepy things are becoming with this play. Ernesto calls "Johnny" about him getting too close to Hope. He defends that he has done a pretty good job all things considered. Ernesto agrees to suspend his punishment and see how they play turns out. Ernesto has his spy replace the prop gun with a real one.

Victor tells Bo that when they go back to Salem, that he wants him to move back in with Hope. Victor & Bo will continue to have their own relationship, that can’t be destroyed. Bo enters the ballroom to find Hope standing in her wedding dress and is speechless for a moment. Bo takes her off to his dressing room to rehearse in private.

Ernesto watches his plan unfold, as the play is performed. Jack & Jenn start the play as narrators introducing Bo & Hope’s wedding day. Hope puts her heart and soul into her performance talking him out of choosing his evil father. Victor is furious when he sees the stolen portrait of Loretta. Bo & Hope continue playing their romantic scenes as he asks Hope to marry him and they pledge their love to each other. he puts her wedding ring into her hand, as the tears gather in her eyes. He places the ring back on her finger and she puts his wedding ring on his finger. They pledge their love forever and kiss.

Victor pulls the gun on Roman and shoots him, he falls to the ground clutching his chest. Ernesto applauds yelling bravo.

6/18 Turns out Bo has the gun and has shot Roman. Ernesto if furious at this deviation. As the curtain comes down, Bo switches guns back. Backstage, Roman demands to know what is going on? Julie wants to know why he didn’t stick to the script. Bo says they are just trying to flush out the sicko. Roman demands to know what Bo is hiding. Ernesto realizes that he can’t trust Johnny. If he wants to thawrt part of Ernesto’s plan then he can join his guests in his plan.

On deck, Hope (still wearing her wedding dress) tells Bo that she is afraid that something is going to take him away from her. She begs him to tell her what is going on. He tells Hope that Ernesto is alive. He shares that when he disappeared in Paris that Ernesto had kidnapped him. He had planned to have Bo replaced with Johnny after plastic surgery. He reminds her that she met Johnny. She figures out that he moved in with Victor to fool Ernesto. He paid Johnny off and has fooled Ernesto into thinking that he is the imposter Bo.

She asks why he changed the ending of the play? He reports that he had no choice as Ernesto was going to have Roman die. Hope insists that Bo should tell Roman about Ernesto. He says he can’t do that, he can’t let Toscano hurt Victor. She agrees to keep her distance to protect him and he promises her that everything will be fine and takes her in his arms and holds her tenderly.
