DVD #31A Hope confronts Billie. Hope says they were once friends, and hope they could be friends again.

4/14 Hope and Franco are at the Snake Pit trying to learn who is the drug runner, and Hope thinks J.L. King will help her because he was such a nice man. Meanwhile Billie has shown up to gain evidence against King as well.

Up in J.L.'s office King is worried over what Bo may or may not have learned from Viper, and waits Nan's call. When King sees Hope on the monitor he tells Max if Bo comes after him, he'll go after Hope. Nan calls King and says nothing has been said yet. King warns Nan that if he goes down, she goes with him.

King goes down to the club to talk to Hope. He tells her he has offered a reward for the man who shot her son, she thanks him. When J.L. asks what Hope is doing here she tells him she's looking for Salem's drug boss, and asks him to help! King asks why she wants to go after the boss, and she says that she wants to nail the people who hurt her son. King says drugs are a problem in all the clubs, but he is an honest man and can't help her.

King and Max walk off, and walk away, and Billie approaches Hope. Hope asks her if she is meeting Bo here, Billie says no, and when Hope asks why Bo isn't doing anything Billie tells her that Bo has already caught the guy who shot Shawn D. Hope wants to head over to the station, but when they try to leave Max asks if they are going somewhere. Billie tells Franco to get Hope away from Max, and when Max tries to sell Hope drugs again Franco pulls her away and says they should just go to the station.

At the station, Viper names King, and Bo thinks everything is almost over. Abe says they need a sworn statement from him, that will hold up in court. Bo and Abe leave the room and ask Nan to contact the DA, Bo has promised Viper a deal. While Bo and Abe talk to Pat Hamilton Nan goes in and asks Viper if he named King (she says she's with King).

When Bo and Abe return to the room Nan is on the floor unconscious, and her gun is gone! Bo and Abe run to see if they can catch Viper, but can't find him. Bo realizes that Viper is probably with King, and Bo and Abe head to the SnakePit. Billie tells Franco to get Hope away from Max, and when Max tries to sell Hope drugs again Franco pulls her away and says they should just go to the station. Meanwhile Billie buys some drugs from Max, but makes him swear not to tell Bo, unfortunately Hope sees her!

Viper shows up at King's and claims he told Bo nothing. All Viper wants is some money to get out of town. King tells Viper to meet him in the back alley in five minutes. Right after Viper leaves Bo shows up and tells King he's looking for someone, the guy who shot his son. When Jl King asks if he named a name Bo says no. King says he has a meeting to go to, but that Hope and Billie are in the club. Meanwhile Abe spots Viper in the alley, and radio's Bo, who's in the club. Bo arrives and when Bo tells Viper to freeze, Viper pulls out a gun and fires!

4/15 At the Snake Pit, Hope can't believe that Billie bought drugs, but Franco says they shouldn't jump to conclusions. Hope approaches Billie and asks what she bought, and Billie makes a really lame excuse that she bought a marked deck for a friend.

King returns to the club and tells Max to lock his safe, he left it open with a gun in it! King approaches Billie, Hope, and Franco. When he asks what they were talking about Billie says it was nothing important, but Hope says they were discussing something very important, drugs. JL says like he said it's very hard to clean up the drug scene, but if she finds anyone selling drugs at the club she should report him to the authorities, King then walks off. Billie tells Hope that's that, and Hope asks Billie if she can see the cards she bought.

In the alley, Bo confronts Viper and shots are exchanged, when Abe looks to see what happened he finds Bo on the ground. Bo is okay thanks to a vest, but Viper has been shot. Bo asks Viper who his boss is, but before he can say anything King shows up. Abe asks King what his connection to Viper is, and King said he's never seen him before. Eventually Viper dies before he can name King. When JL asks Bo if Viper named his boss Bo says he did, but before he says anything Abe stops him.

Back in the club, Billie and Hope learn abut the shoot out in the alley, and Hope and Billie rush out, so Hope never sees what Billie really bought. Bo tells them he's fine thanks to his bullet proof vest. When the coroner examines Viper he says he was killed with a nine millimeter, but Abe is puzzled because both he and Bo had ten millimeters.

Hope learns that the dead boy is Shawn D's shooter, and she wants in on the case. Bo tells her their is no case, and Hope walks away with Franco. Later they learn that the bullet that killed Viper came from another gun, and Bo suspects King. Max drops King's gun that he used to kill Viper off the pier.

Caroline tells Hope that Roman's dead, and asks her to find Bo and bring him to the pub. Later John finds Abe and Bo at the station, and tells them that Roman is dead. Bo goes back to the pub to be with his family. When Hope shows up at the pub she sees Billie comforting Bo.

4/21 Hope is at the hospital with Shawn D. She tells him that he's going to get to go home tomorrow. This leads to him asking about her and Bo being a family again. He asks if Bo is working on a case and H says she thinks so and S-D says he sure hopes he's careful. Cut to Bo getting shot by a thug (iBillie is dreaming).

Hope tells Shawn D that she's not going to give up on his dad. He asks if Billie is the reason his parents aren't together? Bo walks in and Shawn D questions him about why his mom and dad aren't together. Bo tells Hope that they need to talk and they go out in the hall. She says they got to stop leading Shawn D on. She tells Bo she is so sorry about Roman and they embrace and Bo almost breaks down. Bo says he'll never measure up to Roman. Hope responds that Roman always believed in Bo & Hope and so does she. She declares that she will not give up on his love.

At Kate’s, Billie wakes up screaming NO NO and Kate comforts her. She says she's afraid the same will happen to Bo as Roman. She tells Kate that she loves Bo so much, but.... Kate reassures her and reminds her that Bo chose HER, not Hope and wants to know why she is not happy. Billie asks what if B&H; still love each other, but for some reason Bo can't tell her. Kate does not understand, but instead convinces Billie she shouldn't dwell on her insecurity, but go after Bo and Billie agrees. Kate tells Billie she heard of Roman's death and advises that she should go and comfort Bo.

Back at the hospital, Hope pleads with Bo for the truth, but Kim walks up. She tells them about the letter and Bo breaks down. Bo decides to go to the church to be with Shawn and Caroline and leaves. Kim wants to know what happened between B&H? Hope says she doesn't know, but can still feel Bo's love, Kim says she can too. Kim urges her to go after him and make that stubborn Brady admit his feelings for her. Kim stays with Shawn-D and Hope leaves too.

On the pier, Billie throws the drugs into the river. Hope sees this and questions her. Billie tells her she was just cleaning out her purse. She goes on to politely tell Hope to mind her own business (that Bo is her fiance and Hope should move on with her life) and leaves. Hope is confused by Billie’s sudden change of attitude.

Bo joins Shawn and Caroline at the church and then Billie shows up to offer her condolences. She tells Bo privately that she isn't going to do anything to interfere with his investigation and back at the pier Hope is very curious as to what Billie really threw into the river and what she's up to.

4/23 At the Horton house, Hope breaks the news of Roman's death to Shawn D. Shawn D. fears he may lose his dad like his uncle Roman, but Bo walks in and says he and his mom will have to put up with him for a long long time. Shawn D. wishes they could all go to the church as a family, and Bo tells him they'll always be a family no matter what happens. Bo offers to drive Hope and Alice, and she leaves to get Alice. When Shawn D. asks why his mom and Bo can't be a family, and Bo promises one day he will get his wish.

When Bo leaves to get the car Hope tells her Gran she thinks that the Bo and Billie situation isn't what it seems to be, and that Billie is doing drugs.

Bo and Hope talk to each other outside the church about Roman. Billie shows up for the funeral, and before going in Hope pulls Billie aside to ask her a question. Hope asks Billie point blank if she's using drugs, and Billie says no. Hope says she hope's she's being straight, because she doesn't want Shawn D. around any more drugs. Billie gets ticked and tells her she resents Hope using her past against her, and walks off. Billie goes inside and sits with Kate and Bo, and Hope sits with the Hortons.

Bo and John chase the man to the pier where Bo grabs the camera. The man dives into the water, and John goes after him.

At the pub, friends and family have gathered for Roman's send-off. People begin to toast Roman. Later Bo wonders if King could have taped the funeral, but Max says no. Max tells Bo a large drug shipment is coming, and King wants his help. Billie tells Hope she's sorry she gave her false hope about getting back together with Bo.

4/28 Franco shows up at Alice's to check up on Hope. Hope is down, and she tells Franco that Billie told her to face reality and move on because Bo belonged to her. Hope doesn't understand Billie's complete turn around and says something is going on with Billie. Hope wonders about that small package she bought at the Snake Pit, and knows Billie is doing drugs. Franco says he thinks Hope is using this to hold a grudge against her because Bo loves Billie now, but Hope knows Bo still loves her.

Franco tries to make her understand that Bo doesn't love her when Shawn D comes downstairs. Hope says he must be excited about going back to school, but Shawn D says he's never going back to that school and she can't make him. Hope asks why he doesn't want to go back, and he says as long as drug dealers are around he could get shot again. Hope tells Shawn D she'll make arrangements with his teacher to have his homework sent home for the next few days. Hope is mad as hell, and she is determined to get the supplier tonight at the Snake Pit!

At Roman's grave, Bo is in tears as he says goodbye to his brother. Bo tells Roman he wishes he were here because he needs his advice. He knows Roman would want him to see the case through, and Bo promises to tell Hope how much he loves her after her puts King behind bars. Meanwhile Billie is listening in and says she's not giving Bo up that easily.

Billie approaches Bo to support him, because Bo thinks he's wasting his time on the case. Billie tells him what he is doing is very important, but Bo just wonders "what if something happens before the case ends?" Billie asks him what Roman would do, and Bo says he'd stick with the case. Bo tells Billie he's going to do what Roman would do, and hopefully the case will end tonight. Bo explains to Billie about the drug shipment when he gets a call from Max to meet King outside the club. Billie wants to go with him, but Bo tells her no, so she follows him anyways.

Bo meets King and asks Bo make sure nobody at the station knows about the shipment, and then to get patrol duty in that area. Suddenly King sees Billie and asks what he's pulling. Bo says he didn't know she'd be here, and King tells Max to take her inside and entertain her while they talk business.

Max takes Billie inside, where Hope and Franco see them together. Hope asks Bo if he's going after the drug supplier, and he just tells her to stay out of his life. Bo walks off and Billie tells Hope to wake up and accept that Bo is with her now. Later Hope overhears Max and another man talking about how Billie Reed could become a real good customer of theirs.

4/29 King tells Bo he wants the deal to go down without a hitch, and asks Bo what Billie is still doing here. Bo said he told her to go home, but Billie has other plans in mind, she is going to be there when that drug shipment comes in! Later in King's office Bo sees Hope on the TV monitor and begins to fantasize about breaking the truth to Hope and getting back together with her.

In the club, Hope overhears Max and another guy talking about Billie and how she's back into the drug scene. Bo eventually shows up and meets Hope, who asks him to talk to Shawn D about going back to school tomorrow. Bo tells her he'll talk to him later because he has something important to do, which ticks Hope off. Hope says she'll give him the time, and Bo and Billie walk off.

Outside, Bo is angry that he can't see Shawn D. and can't wait till he's back with his family, which hurts Billie. Bo tells her she knows they are together only because of the undercover operation, when suddenly King shows up and asks what they are up to. Luckily King didn't hear them talking, and Billie tries to weasel her way into the sting operation, but Bo tells her no way. Billie says she'll stay with Kate and wait for him to call her when it's over, but she has no intention to sit around.

Back at Alice's place, Billie stops by with some ice cream for Shawn D. in hopes to make him feel better. While Billie is rifling through her purse she drops a vial of crack, which rolls under the table. Shawn D. is upset that Billie knows he doesn't want to return to school because he's afraid the other kids will think he went to that alley to score some drugs, but Billie tells him everything will work out.

Suddenly Hope shows up and finds Billie with Shawn D. Shawn D says Billie just came by to check on him, and Hope says she doesn't want anyone around Shawn D that could harm him, and when Shawn D leaves to scoop out the ice cream Hope asks her what is going on with her.

Suddenly Billie gets a call from Max who says Bo wanted to meet her on Pier 9, and she has to leave. Later a cop shows up to talk to Shawn D about the shooting and Hope invites him into the living room. Time goes by, and Shawn D has to go to bed. When the cop is about to leave he finds the vial of crack when he's trying to tie his shoes. The officer thinks it's Shawn D's, but Hope knows who it belongs to, Billie! Hope asks the cop to give her two hours to handle it, and because he's a friend he says he'll give her the time she needs.

Later on the pier, Bo calls Shawn D. and tells him everything is going to work out just the way he wanted, and tells him to just be patient. King shows up, and Bo says everything looks clear. King said that's good, because if anything goes wrong people are going to die. Eventually Billie shows up to meet Max, and Hope is also on her way to the pier, with a cop trailing her!

4/30 King and Bo are on the pier. King's nervous he hasn't heard from the Captain of the ship yet. Max has Billie on the pier as insurance should Bo do something. Billie thinks she's still there to just see Bo, but Max discreetly has his hand on his gun should he need it.

Meanwhile, Hope is trotting around the pier trying to find Billie with her police friend trailing HER. Max asks Billie if she liked what he put in her purse and when she asks him what he's talking about, he grabs Laney's favorite mega-Gucci and empties it. When he discovers the cocaine is missing, he asks if she used it already. Max brings Billie up to the pier with King and Bo and they both know she's there for insurance now. Max gets a call on his cell phone and tells the boat it's clear to dock. He hangs up and puts in his pocket with another squelch.

King notices Hope and a cop on the pier with his binoculars. King orders Max to take out the cop and then Hope when they get close enough. Bo lurches after Max's gun and King hit him on the head with his own gun. Whipping her Gucci in front of her, Billie runs in front of Max and says he'll have to shoot her first and then the cop will hear the gun go off, so don't do it. Bo tries to get to Billie and King hits him again.

Bo rushes King and Max and grabs a gun. King orders the boat not to dock and he and Max leave saying they're both dead, but rush off before Hope and the cop get there. Officer Tom arrives and Bo tells him the guys were hassling Billie and he stopped them being it's his beat. Hope tells Bo about the cocaine and she feels Billie dropped it as she was the only other person at the house tonight. Tom says it has to be either S.D.'s or Billie's and Billie, not wanting S.D. to get blamed for it, says it was hers.

Tom arrests Billie and reads her her rights. Bo can't believe that Hope did this, and gets mad at Hope for what she's done tonight. She said she was preventing S.D. from going to jail. Bo said all he needed was one lousy night and walks off leaving Hope on the pier. King realizes that Bo didn't call anyone on them and Max said maybe Bo's on the level.

5/1 At the station, Bo asks Billie what she's doing with cocaine. Billie says she's not using and only said the cocaine was hers because she didn't want to get Shawn D. in trouble. She tells Bo she bought coke from Max to try and get inside information for him, and she's sorry. Bo asks if Hope knows about this, and Billie says she thinks Hope suspects her of using drugs again.

Tony comes to book Billie, and calls her a junky no better than the scum on the street. Bo gets angry and pushes Tony, and before a fight can break out another officer breaks it up. Bo gets his time with Billie and decides to try and call Abe to get Billie off the hook, despite the fact it may blow his cover, but Billie stops him from doing it.

Meanwhile, Nan is on the phone with King, who is pissed that his shipment got screwed up. King says if this is a setup Brady and his women will be sorry. Nan tells King that Billie was arrested, but Hope's nowhere in sight. Nan hangs up, and when she turns around she's confronted by Hope, who asks if she just called her name. Nan says she was just taking to Webster about how long it's been since she's seen you.

Later, Nan calls King and says it doesn't seem it was a set-up, and King tells Nan if it was he'll make sure Brady's son gets hooked on drugs.

Jen shows up after getting a tip from her station that Billie was arrested, and Hope tells her Billie was arrested for possession of Cocaine. Hope calls the commissioner to ask that Billie's arrest be kept under wrap for tonight because her family hasn't been notified yet. The commissioner agrees, which pleases Jen and Hope.

5/2 Bo explains to Abe what happened on the pier, and how Billie was arrested. Bo tells them how Billie saved Hope and the cops lives, and that she took the wrap for the drugs because she didn't want Shawn D to be blamed. Bo feels this is all his fault, but he vows to get King somehow. Abe says he needs to go check on Billie, and when Bo asks to give her her own cell Abe says giving her special treatment could look bad.

Hope can't believe Billie is doing drugs again, and is upset that Bo is furious with him. Jen tells Hope she saw the way Bo looked at her, his feelings haven't changed. Hope says what about his engagement to Billie, and Jen suggests that he may be with Billie to help her through her drug problem.

Abe leaves his office and Hope goes in to talk to Bo. Hope says she didn't mean for this to happen, she only wanted to help Shawn D. Bo sees the pain in Hope's eyes, and wants to tell her the truth. When Bo goes to tell her the truth King calls and tells Bo he's going to have to persuade him he had nothing to do with the screw up, or he and his family are going to pay dearly.

King hangs up, and Hope asks Bo what it was he wanted to tell her. Bo envisions that King has killed Hope, so he tells her that Billie's drug use is Billie's business. Hope asks him how he can be so cruel, and Bo tells her to just keep out of their lives. Hope tells him she's out of his life forever, and walks off. Abe returns to the office and tells Bo he did the right thing. Abe also tells Bo that there is another cop on Kings' payroll, so he did the right thing about not telling her.

Nan calls King and reports to him nothing new has happened, but King says if Bo turns on him Bo's son will pay. Jen tells Hope that Billie's arrest is on all the stations, and when Bo hears it he decides to go talk to Billie.

5/5 Hope and Carrie are discussing Billies' drug use, and what's up with Bo & Billie? Well, Austin comes out, hugs Carrie, tells her that Billie is fine, when Sami and Lucas show up. Austin and Carrie get in an argument since Austin believes Billie, and Carrie believes Hope. Bo tries to get the drug shipment come back in town, and JL agrees. He tells Hope to stay out of everything involving Billie.

5/8 Bo visits Billie in her holding cell. Nan brings her a blanket, but Abe tells her not to give Billie preferential treatment. Bo and Billie try to figure out who the King plant might be. Bo gives Billie the chance to back out of the deal, but Billie says if he can stand the sacrifice of not being with Hope, she can stand being labeled a junkie.

Bo warns Billie that King will keep testing their loyalty and to watch out for any cell mates she might have. Bo leaves and tells Abe that he has had enough of the way the case is ruining people's lives. Abe tells Bo that Hope might do something foolish if she knew the truth and someone she loved were endangered by King. Bo decides to tell her anyway.

Meanwhile, Hope had spoken with Jennifer, who told her not to give up on Bo. Just as Hope is fantasizing about getting back together with Bo, he calls her and asks her to meet him on the pier. When Hope arrives, Bo is about to tell her about the undercover operation.

Back at the station, Max had called Nan and told her to set Billie up for a scare. New cellmates were admitted to Billie's cell, and Nan slipped one of them a wicked looking pocket knife. The lights went out and Billie was stabbed. Just as Bo is about to let Hope in on the undercover operation, Abe calls him and tells him Billie was stabbed. Bo arrives and finds that she is hysterical, but not seriously wounded. Bo tells her that King is sending a message and not to cross him. Billie warns Bo that if he tells Hope the truth, she could be next.

5/13 Hope and Franco discuss Billie's arrest. Franco inquires about Bo's reaction, and Hope told him that Bo was furious, not at Billie but at her. Franco again tries to get Hope to see that it's over with Bo, but Hope doesn't believe it's possible.

Bo gives King an ultimatum. If he ever hurts any of his loved ones again, he'll find another crime mob to work for instead of his. With this, Kind trusts Bo completely, and he would not have threatened him otherwise. Billie gets paid a visit in jail, by Hope, who goes on and on about the drugs, asking questions, and annoying Billie. Meanwhile, upstairs, Franco provides an alibi for Billie, getting her off the hook.

5/20 Billie goes back to work, and Bo is upset at this, so soon after her stabbing. Bo tells her that once this charade is over, everything can get back to normal. Bo tells Billie, that he's sent Shawn D. out to a dude ranch to keep him safe, and will need her help to keep Hope safe. Kate comes in, and is relieved that Billie's been cleared of the charges. Billie asks Kate to setup a photo shoot for Hope and Franco, far away, and it must look like it came from Kate. Billie will use the time to win Bo over for good, and Kate agrees to help.

Meanwhile, Franco is again working on Hope to make her see that Bo and Billie are in love and will be married. Hope is determined to learn the truth. Hope also wants to find out why Bo didn't arrest Max for planting the drugs on Billie. Hope goes to talk to Max at the Snake pit. (Brilliant move!) Bo shows up at the snake pit, while Hope interrogates Max, and manages to distract Hope enough so that Max can leave. Hope and Bo argue. (what else).

Later, Max tells Bo, that King wants to offer him, and Billie a major deal. Turns out that they are to go to Rome, to make sure a drug shipment makes it through customs. Meanwhile, Franco learns of the trip to Rome for him and Hope through Kate, and awaits Hope's answer.

5/22 Bo and Hope send Shawn-D off to his dude ranch vacation. Bo tells Shawn-D and Hope that he is going out of town with Billie. Hope is upset, but tries to hide it. She tells Bo she is also going out of town on a modeling shoot with Franco. Neither of them mentions a destination to the other - which is ironic, because they are coincidentally both going to end up in Rome.

Bo thinks Hope is getting safely away from Salem and will be nowhere near Rome when the big drug bust goes down. He tells Hope things will be much clearer when they get back, meaning King will be in jail and he can finally tell Hope the truth. But Hope thinks his comment means that he and Billie will be going someplace romantic, maybe Santa Rosa, to get married. Hope is devastated, but Franco is there to comfort her, and tells her maybe she will feel differently about Bo when she returns.

Billie meets Abe and Bo to finalize their travel arrangements. Bo tells Billie to remember that after the trip, he is going back to Hope, and not to get too attached to him. Billie pretends she understands, but privately plans to get Bo to love her again. None of them know that Max and an underling at the Snake Pit have discovered where Hope is going for her photo shoot, and that Hope is to be King's insurance that Bo won't double cross him.

At the airport, Bo and Billie are literally around the corner from Hope and Franco, but they miss seeing each other by seconds as Hope and Franco board the Titan jet while Bo and Billie fly commercial.

5/27 Bo and Billie arrive in Rome, and will stay at the same hotel, that he stayed with Hope on their second anniversary. They were married 12 years ago today. Hope and Franco arrive also, and are staying at the same hotel. Both Bo & Hope have memories of their time together in Rome. Hope wonders if Bo even remembers it's their anniversary. They leave just as Franco and Hope come down from their rooms to go to the same restaurant per Franco's suggestion.

At the restaurant, Bo & Billie sit outside as Franco and Hope sit inside. Bo talks about Hope and Billie reminds him she's safe and he needs to concentrate on the case as Bo's phone rings. It's King telling Bo it's not time to get the drugs and to relax and enjoy himself. Billie is thinking to herself if she can keep Bo away from Hope that maybe she can get him to fall in love with her again. Inside Franco's trying to cheer up Hope. He tells her finally that he loves her. Hope doesn't believe it, she's still in love with Bo, and can't return those feelings. As they leave, they just miss being seen by Bo & Billie.

6/4 Hope tells Franco that she is very sorry but she can’t return his love. Franco believes that some day Hope will accept Bo loves Billie, and he will be there waiting for her when she does. Hope says that wouldn’t be fair to Franco as she will always love Bo.

Hope arrives for her photo shoot in Rome. She is informed that while she is in Rome, that Kate also wants to shoot for Bella. Hope is hoping the shoot will only last a couple of days. She is told more like weeks. She realizes that by the time she returns to Salem that Bo & Billie will already be married.

Bo thinks about Hope, talking about their eternal love while in Rome as he kisses her. They had spent their anniversary there and both of their thoughts are with each other.

DVD #31B 6/5 Bo tries to figure out a way to get out of marrying Billie, but King is persistent. He throws them an engagement party and they are forced to play the happy couple. Billie and Hope have a close encounter in a boutique, where each picks up a beautiful piece of antique lace.

Hope, meanwhile, is astounded by the fortune teller's "vision", not knowing that she was paid by Franco to discourage Hope from pursuing a relationship with Bo. But even Franco is surprised when the fortune teller starts to make predictions on her own, about Shawn-Douglas and the danger to Bo. Hope and Franco notice the engagement party at the trattoria, but do not see Billie and Bo. The fortune teller passes by a few minutes later, and gazing at Bo and Billie, she says, "Great joy...but great sorrow."

6/11 In Rome, Franco and Hope discuss Bo and Billie yet again. We see Billie sleeping in bed with a lot of covers pulled up over her dreaming about her and Bo's wedding. Max informs King that Hope is staying in the same hotel as Bo, but Bo doesn't realize it. King says It falls right into their plan and calls Bo to meet him. He tells Bo the wedding has been moved up to tonight.

Later, King finds Bo and Billie outside walking and gives Billie a wad of cash to go get a wedding gown. While gazing at a wedding gown, Monique comes up and Billie tells her she's getting married that night. Monique shows her the wedding gown they used in the photo shoot and she can borrow that and shows her a Polaroid of Hope in it. Later we see Hope's head is not in the picture, just the dress, and Billie likes the dress and accepts the offer.

At the cafe, Bo tells King they can't get married there as they want a family wedding. King tells him he'll fly whoever they want over to Rome for the wedding and Bo says no. King even said he'll fly Shawn D. over and Bo tells him that S.D. wants him to get back with Hope and is still recovering from his wounds from the shooting. Bo is trying to get Billie to leave, but she refuses.

6/12 In Rome, Bo and Billie are pushed closer and closer to their wedding, arranged by King. Billie is more than ready to marry Bo, but she knows that Bo does not love her and is only going through with the wedding to avoid making King suspicious about his role in the drug ring. King and Max continue to press them about the wedding, and they have to play the happy couple.

After talking to Abe, Bo realizes it's best just to go through with the ceremony and to get it annulled after King is put in prison. Bo just prays Hope doesn't find out. When Billie asks who their witnesses will be, King tells her it's all arranged and that her hair and makeup people will be there shortly. Bo and Billie go to their room to get ready.

Meanwhile, Hope speculates that the anonymous wedding invitation might be from Bo and Billie, since she thinks she heard Bo's voice earlier. Franco tells her that even if Bo and Billie were getting married in Rome, they'd never be so cruel as to invite her to the event. Hope says he's probably right and that the wedding must be for Monique, the fashion coordinator. Just then, a hotel clerk arrives and tells them they have been asked to stand up for the bride and groom. Thinking it's probably Monique and her fiance, they agree.

Franco then takes Hope to a romantic spot for a picnic. He tells her he used to look at the spot from his room and vow that he would take the woman of his dreams there someday. Hope tells him that she's flattered, but unable to return his feelings. Franco says he knows, but it won't hurt to dream, and maybe someday his dreams will come true. Then he runs off on a mysterious errand.

On impulse, Hope follows him. She is surprised to see him go into a building housing the Sisters of Mercy. A nun there tells her that it is an orphanage, and that Franco grew up there and is now one of their benefactors. Franco emerges and Hope apologizes for following him, but tells him how touched she is that he's such a caring and wonderful man, to donate to the orphanage.

They return to the hotel and get dressed for the wedding. Hope finds out from the hotel clerk which room the bride is staying in, so she can help her get ready for the wedding. Hope knocks on the door, assuming that Monique will answer. She is stunned and speechless when the door opens to reveal an equally surprised Billie and Bo, all dressed up in their wedding finery.

6/13 In Rome, Hope is stunned to realize that the wedding is for Billie and Bo. At first she is hurt to think that they would deliberately spring such a cruel surprise on her. She gives them her best wishes and runs away. Bo is tempted to go after her, but Billie tells him they are too close to nailing King to say anything to jeopardize it, or to put Hope in danger.

Hope walks around in a daze, until Franco sees her and she tells him what happened. Franco is furious that Bo and Billie could be so cruel. Just then, Bo catches up with Hope and asks to speak to her alone. Franco tries to interfere and tell Bo what a jerk he is for hurting Hope that way. It almost comes to blows, but Hope tells Bo she is grateful Franco is there for her, and then asks Franco to give them a few minutes. Bo tells Hope he had no idea she was even in Rome, and had nothing to do with the wedding arrangements, and would never have asked her to be a witness in his wedding. Hope believes him, and then asks him if he really loves Billie so much as to forget all the love he shared with her, Hope.

Bo is right on the verge of telling her about the undercover operation, unaware that King is listening a few feet away. King shows his face before Bo gets himself in trouble, and pretends that he just ran into Bo and Hope coincidentally, and gets himself invited to the wedding. He mentions Shawn-Douglas to Bo just to remind him of what's at stake if he double crosses King. Bo tells Hope that he will find someone else to witness his wedding. Hope walks away and runs in to Billie. Billie apologizes for the pain they've caused Hope, but Hope says if Bo were to love anyone else, she's glad it's Billie. They embrace rather awkwardly.

Billie sees Franco before the wedding and he tells her that he is happy her dream is coming true, and also happy that maybe now Hope can love him. Billie tells him not to count on Hope being available for long, and to make his move immediately. As Bo and Billie prepare to get married, the priest tells them he needs witnesses. Bo is about to tell him they don't have any when Hope rushes up and says she and Franco will do it after all, because she is sure Billie would do the same for her.

The ceremony begins and Hope walks up the aisle in her bridesmaid's gown. Bo is overwhelmed at the sight of her and wishes she were the bride. Billie enters in her lovely bridal gown and takes her place at Bo's side. The sight of them together is almost too much for Hope, but with Franco's support, she is able to hold herself together.

6/16 In Rome, the wedding continues. When it's Bo's turn to say the vows he hesitates (thinking of Hope) and King clears his throat. When Bo finally says his “I Do’s", Hope faints. Bo & Franco rush to her side as Billie tells Bo to just let Franco take care of her. She comes to and says she is okay (must be the heat).Hope watches on (choking back tears) as Billie & Bo are pronounced man and wife.

Hope is thinking that she must get over Bo...Franco thinking he can help Hope, if only she will let him...Bo thinking that he has to tell Hope the truth...and Billie thinking that if King notices any wrong move, he won't hesitate to kill Hope. King is taking it all in. He congratulates B&B and tells them that he has a romantic evening planned for them in their suite. Once again, Bo tells Billie that it is Hope that he loves. Billie tells him he can tell her as soon as they nail King. When they finish dancing, Billie butts in and says it's time to cut the cake.

6/18 The fortune teller warns Franco to beware of the person on the phone she sees him talking to, boasting that this mystery person is very desperate. When Bo admits that he wants to tell Hope everything, Billie warns him of the danger Hope and their son face from King if he does talk.

6/20 Hope goes to Bo to tell him she's leaving Rome that day. Bo tries to convince her to stay, because he wants to tell her about the undercover operation the second King is nabbed, but Hope is determined to leave. Billie tells Bo it's for the best, so that Hope won't be endangered when the drug deal goes down.

King tells Bo and Billie the shipment will arrive that night, and Bo will sail a new boat back to Salem, claiming it was a deal he couldn't pass up, with the drugs secretly stashed aboard. Bo is relieved that the long nightmare is about to end, and soon he will be back with Hope and Shawn-D, but Billie is quiet, realizing her fairy-tale marriage to Bo is about to come to an end. Franco gets an earlier flight for himself and Hope back to Salem, knowing she is eager to leave.

On the flight home, Hope remembers that John and Kristen are renewing their vows that day, and she and Franco will be back in Salem in time for the wedding. But she's not sure she can handle another wedding after seeing Bo and Billie's. Franco offers to escort her, and invent an excuse to leave if she can't handle it. Hope is grateful to him for being such a good friend. Franco tells her he wants to be more, but is willing to wait, because she is the only woman in his heart.

6/23 In Rome, King tells Bo & Billie that everything is set for tonight. Billie is scared that something will go wrong and doesn't like the idea of Bo working alone. He assures her that all is well, an Interpol Agent will be helping him. He tells Billie he wants her to stay at the hotel where he knows she will be safe. Later, the time has come and he promises Billie that he will be careful and thanks her for all her help. After he leaves, Billie vows that she will NOT return with him to Salem, only to see Hope in his arms again. Down on the docks, Bo hooks up with the Interpol agent.

Bo just tells him he wants it all to be over with so he can get home to the woman he loves. The agent gives him some kind of signaling device to let him know when all is set. Dean meets with Max and tells him that Bo is undercover. Max says when King finds out, Bo is a dead man. Billie overhears all this and takes off to warn Bo. Meanwhile, Bo is meeting with King and they finalize the plans. King spots the boat and Bo signals the other agent (who is with Max). Max calls King and tells him about Bo.

In the garden, the crowd is gathered for the wedding, Hope tells Shawn and Caroline about Bo & Billie's wedding and they are shocked. As the guests eagerly await the ceremony, "Blue Suede Shoes" blares over the sound system. All are a bit shocked as John and Abe march down the aisle together. Nervous laughter all around. John and Abe joke about which of them looks the most ridiculous. The wedding proceeds without a hitch and as they are pronounced man and wife. She tells John that he has made all her dreams come true.

Back at the reception, John & Susan suck face, as Hope tells Franco that she has had enough wedded bliss for the day and is ready to leave. Hope tells Mike and Carrie about Bo and Billie then excuses herself. On their way out, Franco again tells Hope that he loves her.

6/24 Franco calls his boss and telling him the good news, that Bo & Billie were married in Rome. He says now he will comfort Hope and win her love. In the meantime, Hope is dreaming of the past with Bo and moping around. Franco joins her again and she cries on his shoulder and says she has no where to go now. Franco says to come with him he has a place for her to stay. He takes her back to his hotel room and says it's hers and he will get another room for himself as he encourages her to take a bath to relax. While she is bathing, he has a special meal brought in for her and leaves after she comes out and sees what he has done. She had flashbacks of Bo not trusting Franco and says she can trust him, he has been such a good friend.

In Rome, Bo is waiting for the shipment and signaling the Interpol agent as Max is on the phone with King telling him that Bo is trying to double-cross them. King is furious and starts questioning Bo who is playing dumb. He says that haven't they been through this all before. King asks a few more questions when Bo realizes the King knows the truth as they both grab for their guns but King gets to his first.

As they are standing there, the Interpol agent walks up and stands by Bo as if he is backing Bo. Bo tells him to call in the rest of the agents and arrest King but then the guy moves to stand by King as Bo realizes the agent was bought by King. Billie hears this and tries to figure out what to do when she hollers for them to drop their guns and pretends she has a gun. They are about to give up when Max walks up and grabs her and discovers she does not have a gun. King tells them they are going to load the drugs onto the boat and Bo & Billie are going to join them and King will dump them out at sea. He says they are leaving the Eternal City for Eternity.

6/26 Bo and Billie find themselves locked in a cell aboard a ship, prisoners of King. Billie begins to panic, but Bo assures her that he has been in worse scrapes before, and has no intention of dying just yet. Bo remembers some of the good times with Hope and vows he will get out to be with her again. When the guards come down to transfer Bo and Billie to another cell, Bo attacks and temporarily knocks out the guard, giving Billie a chance to escape. Billie is reluctant to leave Bo, but he tells her it will be easier for him if she is safe. Bo gives her his good luck charm. Billie runs to another room of the ship, where she can hear more of the thugs just outside. Bo is left behind to face the guards.

6/30 On the boat, Bo is caught by King, who wants to know where Billie is. Bo said she's long gone, but King doesn't believe him and tells Max to find her. Billie is still on the ship, and is hiding from King's men. King tells Bo that the second they find Billie, they are both dead. King also tells him he won't hurt Hope, but he might get his kid hooked on drugs for kicks. Billie manages to kick open an air grate and travels through the ship in it. A man sees it's Billie, and he tells King. There is a huge fight, and Billie manages to jump over the side of the ship, but King's men fire their guns into the water!

7/1 Hope is having a nightmare about Bo, and wakes up screaming his name. Franco runs into Hope's room, and Hope tells him that Bo is in danger. Franco tells her it's just a nightmare, but Hope knows something wrong and she wants to help him. Franco says maybe the dream is just a subconscious way of telling her that she's lost Bo.

Billie has gone over the side of the boat, and King's men fire into the water. One of the men fishes a scarf out of the water, and King shows it to Bo and tells him that Billie is dead. Bo tells King he's going to make him suffer, but King says that it's time for him to die as well. Suddenly the cops show up, and there is a huge fight. King tries to jump overboard, but Bo grabs him just in time. Bo tells King he's going to kill him just like he killed Billie, and asks King to give him a reason he shouldn't.

However, Bo decides not to kill him, but he punches him. The police come, and they arrest King. Bo tells Billie they got King, and says he's sorry she died. The commander of the Rome police thanks Bo, and says that Billie something phoned them and that's how they found him. Bo asks him to take him to Billie. At the station a cop tells Billie that King has been arrested, and that Bo is safe. Bo returns to the station, and he and Billie hug. Bo tells Billie that the case is over, and now they can get back to their lives.

7/2 In Rome, Bo and Billie rejoice being alive and the case being over. The Rome Police will pick up the rest of King's men. Billie, looking wonderful and dry remains cloaked in the blanket. Bo calls Abe and tells him what happened. Bo calls for plane tickets and Billie tells him she's not going back to Salem. She wants to stay in Europe as it would make a transition into her new life easier.

Flash to Salem where Hope tells Franco she knows she should move on, but for some reason just can't. Franco tells Hope he needs her like she needs him and kisses her. Nope, nadda Franco..she opens her eyes mid-kiss, not impressed. Franco tries to get Hope to his room, but Abe pops in and says he has incredible news about Bo. Abe tells Hope and Franco what Bo and Billie were really doing. Much to Franco's dismay, Abe tells Hope that Bo never stopped loving her. A very happy Hope hugs Abe and he leaves. She rushes off to call Bo. The next scene we see Hope (with very straight hair again) on a plane for Rome and Franco is with her.

7/7 On the plane to Rome, Hope says she can't wait to see Bo and wrap her arms around him, but Franco tells her Bo is still married to Billie, but Hope disagrees. Hope says she's sorry things turned out like this, and she just wishes he could be happy too. Hope begins to fantasize about arriving in Rome and being reunited with Bo.

Meanwhile, Franco tries to call his boss, and eventually gets through. Franco thinks out loud that he's been ordered to kidnap her. Franco then tells Hope that perhaps Bo could return Billie's feelings after all they've been through, but Hope says no way! Franco thinks out loud that he has to think up a plan to stop this happy reunion.

The flight attendant announces the descent into Rome. Hope wants to call Bo from the airport, but decides it will be more romantic to surprise him. Franco thinks out loud to himself again that he loves Hope to much to kidnap her, and just hopes Bo does something to sabotage the reunion.

Bo is stunned when Billie asks him to make love to her. Billie says before she loses him forever could they share one last night together, and she'll never ask for anything else. Billie says that she was just voicing a hope and that she feels so stupid now. Bo says he can't make love to her, it wouldn't be fair. Billie says somehow she knew he'd say that, and Bo says he just doesn't want to hurt her more than he already has.

Bo tells Billie she'll meet someone else, but Billie says she can't get over him and she has this horrible feeling she'll never see him again like this, alone, just him and her. Billie puts her arms around Bo, but he tells her they can't do this. Bo tries to convince her to go home with him, but Billie refuses. Bo says he has to go to the airport, and Billie tells him goodbye. Bo says he'll never forget what she did for him, and she says she'd do anything for him.

Bo arrives at the airport and makes an attempt to call Hope, but only gets the answering machine. Suddenly the airport announces that due to mechanical problems the flight to Salem has been delayed till the following morning. Bo returns to the room, where the bell boy says Billie's been crying all night. Bo knocks on the door, and when Billie opens it she jumps into his arms and says "You came back!" Bo tells her that the flight was cancelled, and Billie just says she didn't know what she was thinking. Bo tries to talk to her, but Billie just asks him to hold her, so he does. Billie then sneaks a kiss in, and Bo kisses her back.

7/8 In Rome, Hope is still dreaming about being reunited with Bo, and she and Franco take a taxi to the hotel. At the hotel Billie kisses Bo, and he pulls away. Billie rubs his chest and asks him to make love to her, and he begins kissing her back. Bo pushes her away once again and says they can't do this, there are other people to consider. Billie asks Bo to remember when they made love, and she says it was like nothing she's never experienced. Billie says it's a feeling she'll never forget, and wants to experience it again, she also says she thinks Bo would to if he'd let go.

Bo says that he loves Hope and he can't. Billie says after everything they've been through she needs him to touch her, hold her, and make love to her this one night, and Hope will never know. Bo kisses Billie again, and downstairs Franco and Hope have arrived. Franco asks a bell boy about Bo and Billie, and he tells Franco that those two are very much in love. Franco bribes the man to do something, and he agrees.

Upstairs, Bo stops Billie once again and starts thinking about how Billie saved everyone's lives he's cared about, and he owes her his life. Billie says everything she did was because she loved him, and asks him once again to make love to her.

Back downstairs, Franco tells Hope that he's arranged for Hope to surprise Bo by slipping into bed with him, and he bribed the bell boy to give him the key to Bo's room. Hope is excited, and they go up to Bo's room.

In the room, Bo tells Billie that any man would be lucky to be with her, but she only wants him. Billie says she doesn't want anyone but Bo, and asks him for one last memory to hang onto, and asks him to show her how special she is. Billie lays on the sap about how she can't go on without him and she just needs to feel special for one more night, then she could at least hold onto that feeling for the rest of her life, and dumb dumb Bo starts kissing her again.

Bo tells her that when she left Salem and him he felt like his heart was ripped out, and he didn't think he could go on. Billie and Bo start kissing, and as they fall onto the bed Hope approaches there door. Franco hands Hope hey key, and as she opens the door Bo and Billie are in bed, Bo has his shirt off, but his pants on.

7/9 Shocked seeing Bo and Billie in bed together, Hope slips out of the hotel room without letting them know. While she suffers Franco makes a mystery call and informs his employer that everything has worked out to end Bo and Hope's relationship.

Later, Bo makes plans to return to Salem, unaware that Hope caught him in bed with Billie. In jail, King learns that Billie is going to be alone in Rome and puts into motion a plan to pay her back for what she did to him.

7/11 Bo thinks about Hope on the plane to Salem and calls Mrs. H., who does not pass on Hope's message. By the time Bo arrives in Salem, he is dying to get back together with Hope and dashes over to Mrs. Horton's. She tells him face to face that Hope does not want to see him. Bo is thoughtful, but not alarmed, since he assumes she doesn't know about the undercover operation yet. He reassures Mrs. Horton that he loves Hope with all his heart and that he will probably see her tonight at John and Marlena's party at the Penthouse Grill.

7/14 Bo is wandering around wondering why Hope doesn't want to see him. He call's Alice's place just as Hope walks in with Franco. Hope says she's not going to answer the phone, and Bo eventually gives up.

Hope and Franco are driving around, and Hope says she needs some time alone. Hope and Franco eventually end up on Smith Island, and Hope is flooded with old memories of Bo. Hope goes inside and gives Alice a call to let her know where she is. Hope says she needs a night alone to think about how to go on without Bo, and she asks her Gran not to tell Bo where she is.

Bo shows back up, and Alice has to tell Bo that Hope doesn't want him to know where she is. However, a sneaky Mrs.H lets Bo know where Hope is by saying "This is a lovely picture of you and Hope at the cabin."

Bo heads out to the island, hoping Hope will forgive him. Back at the cabin, Franco gives Hope a friendship ring, and Bo arrives just inside to see Franco put it on her finger.

7/15 Franco asks Hope to wear a friendship ring. Hope declares to Bo that their relationship is over. Bo tries to explain about King in Rome and how Billie was involved but Hope can't stop thinking about seeing him in bed with Billie. Bo admits to Kate his feeling that Hope has lost faith in him.

7/16 Hope is depressed, but Franco is trying to cheer her up. Shawn-D comes home to the Horton house, and after a happy reunion with Hope, asks when she and Bo will be getting back together. Hope tells him it may never happen. Shawn-D is disappointed, and Hope is heartbroken that she can't give him the family she wants. Then they get the call to go to Jennifer's and they take off. Bo shows up a few minutes later, and Shawn-D tells him to go after Hope.

At the party, everyone is thrilled that Jack is out of prison. Sami and Lucas scheme to drive Carrie and Austin further apart. Sami's seemingly innocent comments about her "happy" marriage drive Carrie outside, to seek comfort in the arms of Mike, as they finish a dance they started years ago. Carrie is unaware that Mike is now in love with her. Sami maneuvers Austin out to the terrace to watch the two together, just as Austin is about to prepare her for the news that their marriage may soon be annulled.

Hope and Franco say their goodbyes and as they are heading out the door, they run into Bo. Hope is cold to him again, and tells him that they are through, and that he made his choice in Rome. Bo is confused, but Hope doesn't explain. He tries to call Billie, but she can't be reached, and he wonders if she is okay.

Dvd #31C 7/18 Hope is depressed over the situation with Bo, and admits to Franco that she still loves him. Franco tells her to come to the wedding and have a good time. But when they get there, Bo is one of the ushers and walks Hope to her seat. He reminds her that the last time she walked down the aisle, she was the bride and she was breathtaking. Hope doesn't even respond, but inside, she can't stop thinking about her splendid English wedding with Bo all those years ago.

Bo can't stop thinking about it either. While Bo is reminiscing, Kate tells him that she hasn't been able to contact Billie and the hotel in Rome reported that she hadn't been to her room for days.

Marlena, wondering what she is up to, is startled when Kristen opens the door and motions, and someone wheels a sleeping man with a bandaged face into the room. Marlena is confused, but as she gazes past the bandages, all the color drains from her face..."It can't be," she whispers. Kristen grins evilly. "Oh, but it is," she says softly. "It's Roman Brady."

7/21 Franco continues to pressure Hope to move on without Bo. Hope then begins to daydream about marrying Bo again, and this time they says it's forever. Hope thinks there has been a terrible misunderstanding, but Franco says she's deluding herself. Still, Hope says if he and Billie were together she doesn't understand why Billie didn't come back to Salem.

Kate is worried that Billie hasn't been seen in days, but Bo assures Kate she is fine. To make Kate feel better he calls the police in Rome and have them track her down. Kate says she knows Billie is upset about losing him again, but Bo is sure Billie is fine and she knew how he felt from the beginning.

Bo says he wishes he knew what to do about Hope, and Kate tells him to go back to the woman who really loves him, Billie. Bo says he loves Hope but he just hurt her. Kate says he hurt Billie to, but she still wants him back. Bo tells her he loved Billie very much once but his future is with Hope, and he assures Kate he and Hope will be back together. Kate gets a call from the Rome police about Billie.

Hope approaches Bo, but Kate gets to him first about a call from Rome. Franco tells Hope that Billie comes first, and Hope says he's right. Kate tells Bo that the police says Billie hasn't been seen for days or she hasn't left Italy. Kate yells to Bo that he should never left her in Rome alone!

7/22 At the church Hope says how big of a fool she was trying to talk to Bo. Then she goes off about how she knows just how Marlena feels, and recalls trying to get married to Bo, and she says if she only believed Bo back then maybe they'd be together. When Hope sees how upset Kate is she wonders if there could be something else going on.

Kate is ranting that Bo should never have left Billie alone. Bo tells Kate that he has learned that an American women in Rome who's in trouble with the drug cartel, and he'll fly there to check things out. Kate thanks him, and Bo says he will always love Billie and protect her, and of course Hope overheard that part only.

7/25 Hope is in disbelief as her latest attempt to talk to Bo ends with him rushing out of the church to find Billie. Hope, not knowing that Billie is missing, assumes that Bo just couldn't wait to rejoin her in Rome. In despair, she cries on Franco's shoulder and he tells her that Bo is no good for her. She wonders where she'll go, and Franco tells her they could find a place together and split expenses. Hope balks at the idea, knowing Franco has feelings for her, but he points out that he could help out with Shawn-D, and she starts to melt.

7/28 Bo is told that King’s men are on the run, but he is still unable to find Billie anywhere, not in the morgue nor the hospital. He calls Kate and tells her that he hasn’t found Billie yet. He asks what about this guy that says he is my brother? She tells him that Roman has returned but he is very ill. She is sorry for keeping him from Roman right now. He tells her her has to find Billie first and then he will be back in Salem very soon.

7/30 Bo is talking to Kate telling her he will find Billie and he cares for her a lot, but Hope is the woman he loves. Bo calls Hope and get's a message machine and leaves a message for Shawn D.

A man approaches Bo and tells him that he has learned the whereabouts of King's associates. He tells her that the were seen of the coast of Wales but an American women wasn't with them. Bo thinks that if they are on the run that Billie is safe, but he still needs to find her. The man asks Bo if he has any idea why Billie would want to disappear, and Bo has an idea and tells the man all about the Hope/Gina/Billie triangle thing and thinks maybe she's disappeared to deal with losing him all over again. When the man asks him if perhaps Billie could start using again but Bo says no way!

7/31 Bo's search for Billie goes on, but at first produces no new leads. Bo is less concerned, knowing that King's syndicate is in Britain and not in Rome, but he still wonders what could have happened to Billie. Then Marcello produces a lead saying that a woman matching Billie's description has been seen in a nearby township.

As he drives, after calling Kate and Austin to tell them the news, Bo remembers driving that same road with Hope and her making him promise never to drive this road without her. Bo apologizes to Hope in his thoughts, but knows that when the whole nightmare is over, they can concentrate on working things out.

8/6 Jen & Jack and Hope & Franco meeting for dinner. Jack tells everyone he hopes no one will recognize him and ruin their evening. A patron loudly comments about Jack. Hope suggests Jack and Jen dance. While they are, Hope tells Franco she's going to move on with her life and to start off, find a new place for her and Shawn D. to live.

More patrons comment about Jack. Hope reassures him all will be well and to take advantage of every second he can and don't be like her and waste time. It's over with her and Bo, but not him and Jen. Jack and Jen dance and he tells her what Hope said. He asks Jen to take a chance on him and she says yes, she loves him. Hope is happy they took her advice and thinks she should take her own advice. She's ready to do something about her personal life.

8/7 Hope and Franco go to Mrs. Horton's and have their usual discussion about getting on with her life. Eric Brady arrives at Mrs. H.’s. He sees Hope with Franco and asks directly what role Franco had in breaking up Bo and Hope? Hope jumps to his defense and says that Franco has been nothing but a wonderful friend. Eric apologizes and leaves. Franco thanks Hope for defending him and says maybe she's willing to move on after all. They share a kiss.

8/12 Hope and Franco went over to Jen and Jack's place and waited for Laura. Laura walked in and told them Stefano had been arrested. Everyone was happy, and Laura said that Stefano and Kristen would confess. Jen said she knew Jack would be free, and as they hugged, Travis/Trevor looked in from outside but couldn't hear what they were saying. Hope decided to call the station and see what she could find out.

Hope called the station, and Abe answered as John interrogated Stefano. John asked Abe to let him talk to Hope, and he said that after he was finished with Stefano, he'd stop by and pass on the good news. John told Hope goodbye and then yelled at Stefano to start talking

Back at Jack and Jen's place, Hope passed on the news about Stefano, but Jack wasn't very optimistic about the situation. Franco asked Hope if she was okay, and she just said she hoped Jack and Jen would have their happy ending, unlike Bo.

John showed up and told them they'd learn the truth about Peter soon. Jack served the pancakes, and everyone ate and had a good time, but Hope had to excuse herself when she saw Jack and Jen so happy. John went after Hope to talk to her. He asked her if she was okay? Hope said Abby wanting her mom and dad to be together reminded her of Shawn D. John said that he thought she and Bo were meant to be together, and Hope said she had thought so too. Hope said she knew John and Marlena would work things out, and despite her situation, she still believed that if two people loved each other, there was a way.

Franco calls Kate. She tries to cut him off as Sami is there with her. As Franco excitedly continues that they have successfully broken up Bo & Hope, Sami pushes the speaker button so she can hear Franco’s comments. Franco continues that Hope responded to his kiss and they are growing closer. Sami says, “Gotcha!” to Kate.

8/13-8/14 Hope was remembering telling Bo to search out his feelings for Billie and realized she should have fought harder to hold on to Bo. Franco went over to see Hope and invited Hope to have lunch with him. Hope said she couldn't because she had to go to Jack and Jen's place for the hearing. Franco asked if he could go with her?

Sami & Kate have it out over her manipulating Bo & Hope’s relationship so Bo would wind up with Billie. Later, Kate called Franco and told him that Sami was blackmailing her with the information Sami had on Kate. Franco told Kate that he had fallen in love with Hope, and if she found out the truth, she would hate him. Franco told Kate that she had even more to lose than he did, and he told her that she needed to give Sami what she wanted.

8/15 At the court, Jen told Jack that it was hard to believe everything depended on what "that bastard," Stefano, said. Stefano shuffled in and agreed. Mickey walked in and told Jack, Jen, and Laura about the plea bargain. Jen didn't want to lose her husband that she loved, the father of her daughter. Kristen looked over at Stefano and said, "Sorry Jen."

Hope told Kristen to let love win, just once, to herself. Abe was put on the witness stand, and Mickey was asking him about the exhuming of Peter's casket and what had happened. Abe said he had never seen Peter's body after it had been exhumed and before it had been cremated.

Marlena told about all the cameras in the DiMera house and what she had seen. She said she had seen Kristen talking to Viv and Ivan about digging up the casket and having it cremated immediately. She said Kristen was afraid that they would learn it was Daniel Scott's body and not Peter's. Laura got on the stand and told about leaving her purse in the church and finding Stefano and Peter. She further told of how she had tried to run away, and Stefano had kidnapped her and taken her to Peter's house. She told about the laser surgery in Peter's, Kristen's, and Stefano's presence. They both knew that Peter was alive.

While Stefano was on the stand, the judge had John go up to present the D.A.'s offer. John approached, and when he stated in question format that Stefano knew Peter was not dead, the judge told John that the witness was not on trial. The judge advised John to just say what he wanted to say. John reminded Stefano that there was a long list of charges against him, and he could go to prison for the rest of his life without parole. If he agreed to tell the truth, he could be eligible for parole in a few years.

Mickey stood up and asked Stefano if Peter was alive. Stefano said, "As most of you know, Peter is like a son to me. He's not alive. Jack killed him. He was tried and sentenced and should be in prison." He said he also spoke for Kristen. The judge said he didn't talk for anyone in her courtroom, and Marlena smiled broadly at that. Mickey asked Kristen if that was true, and Kristen got a panicked look on her face. Kristen said, “No!" The judge denied the appeal on the evidence she had just heard.

8/18 Hope at Jack & Jen’s as Jack says goodbye to his family and is taken away by the police.

8/19 Marlena stumbles upon Hope at the playground, Hope is so upset about watching Jack being taken away by the police today. They talk about Roman for a bit, and Marlena says she's hoping for good news from Carrie and Mike. Marlena is still wondering why Stefano rejected John's offer. Hope says Marlena and John have helped her so much and it's time she repays them by going to talk to Stefano.

Hope goes to see Stefano in jail. He calls her Gina. Hope asks what kind of man he is and he tells her he was a caring man, look at all he did for her. Hope asks why he held her hostage at Maison Blanche and Stefano tells her that not many people get a second chance so she should count her blessings. Hope asks what really happened at Maison Blanche, did she uncover a secret that could destroy him? Stefano says she's fooling herself and Hope tells him she won't let him hurt the Hortons or the Bradys. Stefano tells Hope he knows how much she loves Bo and will help her win him back. Hope asks why Stefano is so eager to buy her off with Bo? What secret doesn't he want revealed? Hope then walks off.

8/25 At the police station, Hope comes to see Abe and shares that she can't get on with her life. Abe tells Hope there may be a cure for Roman's illness. Hope says that's great but Abe tells her Stefano is the one who says he has the cure and wants to be freed in exchange for it. Hope can't believe John wants to free Stefano and Abe says that this is just a trick of Stefano's. Abe says if he thought their was a cure he'd move heaven and earth, but Hope brings up the "what if" factor. Abe says Stefano wouldn't bring it back, he thinks Stefano wants to get John out of Salem, and when Roman dies he'll snatch Marlena again.

Hope asks what if John decides to break Stefano out on his own? Abe says he'll have to stop him, because if he goes off with Stefano he won't come back alive. Later, Hope recalls telling Stefano she won't let him hurt her family again and she recalls Stefano telling her she will get Bo back. Hope says Stefano is wrong, she won't get Bo back, but maybe she can help John.

Hope goes to see John and tells him there is no proof there is a cure. John says he has to take that risk, and Hope tells him she will tell Abe what he is going to do. John grabs Hope and says what if she was him and it was Bo who was dying, he knows she'd do anything to help him. John tells her they both have felt the love of the Brady family, and he wants to pay the Brady's back for the love they've shown him, and he begs Hope not to stop him.

8/29 Hope sneaks up behind Mike at the hospital and they hug. Mike tells her she looks gorgeous and assumes she's going to the wedding. Hope says yes, but she has some errands to run first. She tells Mike she ran into Laura at the hairdresser's and knows all about his adventures in LA with Carrie, and that he loves her. She tells him Austin is a fool to let Carrie go, and she thinks Mike would be terrific for her. Mike says he has to wait until after the wedding to tell Carrie he loves her. Hope wishes him luck.

9/2 Carrie runs into the church when Austin is saying his vows and she says she can't let him marry Sami. Carrie says Sami's memory is back and she has been manipulating him for months. Sami says it's not true and she pretends to be upset that Austin's other women is her own sister. Austin calls the ceremony off because he knows Carrie wouldn't stop the ceremony if there wasn't a good reason.

Alice tells Hope that this wedding wasn't meant to be, Carrie should be with Austin just like she should be with Bo. Alice apologizes but Hope says that it's all right, Bo is never far from her thoughts or her heart.

9/3 Franco shows up at the church, late for the wedding, and Hope tells him the wedding was stopped. Franco says this must remind her of her wedding to Bo. Hope says that was the biggest mistake of her life, if she had only married Bo when she had the chance he wouldn't be in Rome with Billie. Hope says that Carrie has been so courageous to fight for Austin and she's so happy for her. Hope says she wonders if she misunderstood what she saw in Rome and decides she has to talk to Bo. Hope calls Bo, but he's not at the hotel. Franco says he's probably enjoying his honeymoon with Billie, and Hope says maybe she should leave it alone.

Later, Franco approaches Kate about their secret and Kate says she expects Sami to drop the bomb any minute now.

In Rome, Billie asks what it is and he tells her that Max used a combination of drugs, which will make it very hard for her to kick. Bo says he'll have the drugs analyzed and asks Billie one more time to come back to Salem, but she refuses. Billie says she can deal with this and he should go back to Salem to be with Hope. Billie asks if he still love Hope and he says he always will, but Hope has moved on with Franco. Billie says he should be with Hope but Bo says he's with her now, and will be with her as long as she needs him.

9/8 Hope is in the garden at the church and is so happy Carrie and Austin together, and she wonders maybe if things could work out for her and Bo. Franco tells her that Bo and Billie are on their honeymoon and she has to let him go. Suddenly Sami tries to run into the church and Hope grabs her. Caroline and Shawn run out and tell her they aren't going to let her ruin Carrie and Austin's wedding again! Hope congratulates Austin and Carrie after they are finally married. Hope continues to wonder if she and Bo could reunite, but Franco says she needs to move on.

Bo is nursing Billie. She doesn’t know why he wants to help her, that if it wasn’t for her that he would be with Hope right now. He is still puzzled why Hope isn’t with him.

9/9 Kate talks to Bo on the phone. Kate is relieved that he found Billie, and Bo tells her she's fine. Kate wants to know why he never called her back and Bo says they were touring Italy. Kate says it sounds like they're having a really great time, which Hope overhears. Kate asks to speak with Billie and Bo hands her the phone. Billie talks to Kate, and when Kate looks over her shoulder and sees Hope, Hope walks off.

Kate tells Billie she seems tired and Billie says she just woke up. Kate thinks Billie and Bo are back together but Billie says they are just friends. Kate asks why he is there and Billie says he's here because you asked him to come. Billie tells Kate they are just friends but Kate tells Billie that Hope has moved on, this is her chance to get Bo back in her life! Kate tells Billie to use this time to remind Bo of the wonderful, decent, caring girl he once loved. Billie says that's not possible but Kate tells her he can fall in love with her again. Billie tells Kate she has to go and almost breaks down.

She hands the phone to Bo who asks Kate if he's heard from Hope. Kate tells him about the wedding and that Lucas is Will's father. Bo asks Kate to give everyone his love. When he asks how Hope is again, Kate tells him she's with Franco, and she seems happier than she's seen her in a long time. Bo tells Kate he'll take care of Billie and they both say goodbye.

Hope goes back to the reception and Franco consoles her, Hope thinks Bo and Billie are having an incredible time in Rome. Franco proposes a friendly trip for the two of them and asks if she will go. Jen talks to Hope later and Hope tells Jen she has to let go of Bo, and she's considering Franco's proposition.

Kate returns to the reception and apologizes to Hope, she knows it must have hurt to hear that. Kate talks to Franco, and they both feel that Hope is giving up on Bo.

Sami goes inside and up to her room. Kate finds her and asks what she's doing here and Sami says she lives here. Kate tells her to move out but Sami won't leave, she wants to keep an eye on her. Kate says she kept up her end of the bargain but Sami calls their deal off. Sami says she just has to decide when to tell everyone about her past, and she'll start with the fact that she hired Franco to break up Bo and Hope.

9/10 Hope and Alice are at the pub as well. Hope asks Alice what she thinks about going on a trip with Franco. Alice says she always thought she'd get back together with Bo, but Hope says that won't happen. Hope makes her decision and tells Franco she can't go away with him, it's too much of a commitment. Franco tells Hope he has been offered a modeling job in France and will be staying there for awhile, but he will be back!

Hope just happens to overhear John and Abe talking about breaking Stefano out. Abe and Hope argue about stopping John, but Abe tells her it's to late. Unfortunately this time Marlena overheard them talking!

9/11 Marlena is horrified to overhear Hope and Abe talking about John's plan to release Stefano from prison. Abe rushes off to help cover John's tracks, and Marlena demands to know from Hope what's going on. Hope tells her and they run off to the jail together. By the time they get there, John and Stefano are already gone.

They go to the airport in hopes of catching John and Stefano before they leave. There they find John and Kristen, but no Stefano. Marlena is disturbed to hear that Stefano escaped, but glad that John is not with him. He tells her that if Stefano shows up at the airport, he will still go with him to get the cure for Roman. Hope, watching everything, tells Kristen she's reached a new low, allowing Marlena to believe there is a cure. Kristen tells her there is a cure, and she will go with John to retrieve it. Hope tells her she'll never let Kristen break up John and Marlena again.

Just then, Stefano shows up. Marlena is horrified and begs John not to go with him. John tells her his mind is already made up. Marlena says that if he's going, so is she. Stefano and Kristen and Hope look shocked.

9/12 On the plane, John asks Stefano to mark the place where they'll land for the pilot. Stefano does and John remarks that it's an uncharted jungle, and there's nothing out there. Stefano says that the cure is there. Stefano also tells John to relax, because this could be the start of a beautiful friendship. John tells him to go to hell.

Kristen heads to the airplane bathroom to freshen up and is shocked to see Hope hiding behind the curtain! John and Stefano agree, for once, that she should go back to Salem as soon as they land. Hope says there's no way, that she is going to protect John's back as a "trained cop." Stefano appears uncomfortable and Hope taunts him that she will one day remember what terrible secret she learned about him at Maison Blanche.

9/15 Steph, Kristen, John and Hope all wake up on the plane. They are descending and John demands Stefano to tell him just where they are. John questions him and Steph assures him that there IS a cure. As they prepare to land, John tells Hope as soon as they land, the plane is heading back to Salem with HER on it. She insists on staying but finally tells him "whatever you say..." (though we know better!)

The next we see of the Salem Safari, they are arriving at a rundown shack and have picked up two new members to their merry little group. Stefano pulls the two aside and whispers something and they leave. Kristen comments "You have connections EVERYWHERE, don't you?"

John demands to know where the cure is and Stefano tells him that HE is in charge now. John pulls his gun and says is Steph is lying, then he has a CURE for that too! John says he is going back to the plane to tell Hope goodbye. Hope strolls in and says "Why, are you going somewhere?" She refuses to leave.

Kristen and Hope get into it as Kristen brings up the Bo & Billie situation and tells her to stay out her business. Kristen tells her to just go back home and "marry her pretty boyfriend." They hear the plane revving up and Hope tells them they are stuck with her. John tries to call the pilot, but Hope tells him not to bother, the pilot will not answer. Steph tries the radio, but Hope has the batteries. Kristen asks how and when Hope was able to do that? Hope says face it, she isn't going anywhere. Stefano seems to be agitated by all this.

Later, Hope and Stefano argue. She tells him that she knows why he wants her out of there, because of the secret she learned at Maison Blanche. He warns her that she is making a BIG mistake.

As they arrive back at the hut, Stefano and Kristen have also changed clothes They urge John and Hope to sit down and eat something but John refuses and tells Stefano to quit stalling. As they argue over who is in charge, Kristen informs them that Hope has disappeared. When John goes to look for her, Stefano assures Kristen that everything is under control. Hope is snooping around in a room. John finds her and they argue about her listening to him. Then they hear a the door SLAM and realize they are trapped in the cell.

9/16 Bo is out looking for Billie and gets side tracked when he sees a women who looks like Hope. He grabs her by the arm, crying “Hope!’ But alas it isn’t her.

In the jungle, Stefano has locked John and Hope in a bunker. John asks Stefano to let him out, but Stefano says all in good time. John asks Kristen to open the door, but she goes with Stefano. In the bunker Hope and John argue and Hope tells John the reason she stowed away was not only to watch him, she did it for love. Hope says she doesn't think it's right for Stefano to become between anyone in love. Hope says she's lost Bo and can't do anything about that, but she can help him and Marlena, and Roman as well. Hope asks John to please let her help him.

Kristen tells Stefano she won't let him hurt John, she loves him as much as he loves Marlena. Kristen wants in on his plan, but he tells her it's extremely complex. Stefano decides to show Kristen just how much he loves Marlena, and he shows her a room which he turned into a shrine of Marlena. The room is covered with gold framed pictures of Marlena throughout the years. Kristen laughs and says this is so revolting, it's an obsession. Stefano calls it love, in it's purist state, and one day he and Marlena will be together. Stefano and Kristen argue about love, and Kristen says the one difference is that John actually loved her at one time, Marlena never loved him.

Stefano then calls someone and initiates Phase 2, which involves the cure.

Kristen brings John and Hope some food, and tells John she'll consider letting him out if he gives them another chance. John says he loves Marlena and Hope tells Kristen to let them out, Stefano will kill them. John says if she has an ounce of goodness left in her she'd at least let Hope out, but Hope won't go anywhere without John. Kristen says all right, give me your gun and I'll get the key from Stefano.

John looks at Kristen and asks if she would really murder Stefano to try to win his love back. Kristen says she has no intention of killing Stefano, she needs a weapon to get the key. Hope says it's a trick and John tells her that he maybe able to forgive her, but he won't forget, and he'll never love her again. Kristen tells him that hurts and to think about what he said, and she slams the window on the door shut.

Kristen returns to Stefano and tells him he was right, John will never love her without help. Kristen asks Stefano if this procedure will only take away John's love for Marlena and Stefano says he is positive. Stefano says all she has to do is say the word and he'll perform the procedure.

9/18 Stefano tries to convince Kristen that the surgery on John's brain which would erase his love for Marlena is the only way she's ever going to win his love again. Kristen says that if they get the cure for Roman and Marlena stays with him, she'll have a chance at John anyway, so the surgery is the last resort. She tells Stefano to get Hope out of the cell with John because they're two healthy young people and anything could happen. Stefano tells her not to be ridiculous; Hope loves Bo and she has to stay locked up.

Kristen accuses Stefano of being afraid of Hope and what she knows. She starts yelling at Stefano that she wants to know his plans and he tells her to quit behaving like a spoiled child. While they're arguing, Kristen's finger brushes a button under the rim of Stefano's desk. Stefano yells at her not to push it, but she does, and a dart goes flying across the room. In a fury, Stefano tells her it is tipped with poison to which there is no known antidote, and the room is filled with them so that if any of his enemies penetrate in to this fortress, he can eliminate them. Kristen tells him he's sick.

John and Hope argue about how to get out of Stefano's cell. John says that if it will help get her home safe, he'll pretend to forgive Kristen. Hope says that there's no way she'll let him do that. While they're arguing, they hear a guard coming to give them food. Hope immediately falls to the ground moaning and clutching her stomach, while John climbs up into the rafters. The guard comes in and John jumps him and takes his gun, but before he and Hope can escape, four more of Stefano's guard come in. Hope keeps moaning and John tells them to go help her. As soon as they get close enough, Hope punches one of them and John takes care of the rest.

They lock the guards in the cell and, both armed, start running through the complex. They open a door and John gapes in astonishment - they've entered Stefano's Marlena room, which contains everything from wall portraits, snapshots, gowns she's worn, and even a diamond brooch the John gave her. John furiously smashes through the glass to get the brooch, and while he's doing that, Kristen and Stefano come in.

Stefano congratulates them on getting out, and John tells him he's crazy if he thinks he can ever win Marlena. Stefano gets behind his desk and tells John that he's on Stefano's turf now and he'd better learn to behave accordingly, all the while inching his finger toward the poison dart button.

With an "Auf Wiedersehen," Stefano releases the dart. Kristen screams and Hope jumps in front of John, taking the dart. She slumps into his arms as Kristen says, "John, it's a poison dart....she's going to die!"

9/19 In the jungle, John and Kristen are terrified that Hope is dead from the poison dart. But she begins to stir and says that the dart didn't stick into her skin, and she's all right. Stefano takes the dart and says it wasn't poisonous anyway, and that he only did it as a way to show them that he wasn't about to hurt anyone. To prove it, he sticks it in his own skin. Then he tells them that every other hidden dart in the room is deadly, and for their own protection they'd better follow his lead. John demands to be taken to the cure.

Stefano leads them to a laboratory, where a Dr. Ralf, a scientist he freed from prison, is working on some of the most daring experiments in the world. Dr. Ralf greets Hope as if he recognizes her, but then denies it. Stefano shows them a vial of milky fluid which he claims is a cure for Roman, but says it's not complete yet. Hope is still troubled by her encounter with Dr. Ralf and wonders if it has to do with her memories of Maison Blanche and Stefano's secret.

Later, in the Marlena shrine room, Hope sees a picture of Maison Blanche and has a memory flashback of herself in bandages staring at her hands, and then of lying in a bed while Stefano caresses her. Stefano and Kristen see her looking at the picture, and Stefano is afraid.

9/23 In the jungle, John and Hope break into the Holy Shrine of Marlena. Hope shows John the picture of Maison Blanche to John and then begins to have memories of the past. Hope tells John she can't stop thinking about Maison Blanche. Hope doesn't understand why Stefano kept her there and why he tried to take her when he tried to make his escape.

Hope knows a secret about him, something that has him terrified. John says now that Maison Blanche has burned down and all the secrets probably went with it. Hope says perhaps, but with the way Stefano has been acting the secret could be here! Hope thinks it is odd that after she came back to Salem that Stefano never made any attempt to contact him.

Hope says he is scared of her, because she knows a secret that can hurt him. Hope is sure that the secret is here, and she is sure Doctor Rolf recognized her, possibly from Maison Blanche. Hope says if she could only remember what happened she could unlock so many pieces of her past, and god knows what else. Hope says if the secret to Maison Blanche is in this compound, it could be the secret to unlocking his (John) past as well.

John tells her he wants to uncover some of his lost memories as well, but he warns her she is in for a shock if she goes down this road. John and Hope then talk about love, and risking your soul for the one you love. John tells Hope he risked his soul to save Marlena from the Devil, and he knows that Bo would risk his for her (Hope).

Meanwhile, Stefano is desperate to leave and tells Dr. Rolf to hurry up and prefect the cure. Kristen knows something is bothering Stefano. Stefano claims that the natives don't like the idea of him being here but Kristen says that's not it, he doesn't want to be around Hope!

Stefano talks to Doctor Rolf again, who panics at the thought that Hope could remember what they did to her at Maison Blanche. Kristen looks at a table and goes to remove a tarp off of it when Stefano freaks out. He tells her not to touch the table and orders some men to remove it. Kristen is clueless and asks what is under the tarp and Stefano says it doesn't matter.

Kristen asks if the secret he fears Hope will uncover is linked to that table, but he says he's not hiding anything. Stefano asks Kristen why she is so concerned about this and asks if she really thinks John and Hope may end up together. Kristen says she wants John to end up with her, not with Hope, Marlena, or anyone else. Stefano says she's as determined to get John as Sami is to get Austin. Kristen says the only difference is that Sami lost and she is going to win! Stefano laughs and says Sami probably still has a few cards to play.

Stefano and Kristen go to the Holy Shrine of Marlena and find John and Hope there. He doesn't care how they got in but he shows them a vial and tells them they have the cure. Stefano guarantees them that the cure will work and everyone seems thrilled. John tells Hope he's sorry they don't have the time to figure out her secrets, but Hope says she will learn it one day, and if it's as bad as she think it is she'll make Stefano pay!

9/25 In the uncharted jungle where Stefano's fortress is, Hope knows that the secret she learned at Maison Blanche is hidden somewhere nearby.

Stefano continues to worry about Hope learning his secret. He needs to get everyone off of the island ASAP. Kristin comes in and demands to know what his plan is, that he always has a plan!
