Bo & Hope ##34 March 19 - June 19, 1998:8 hour original edit DVD #34A 3/19 Bo is disturbed that Billie didn't make her doctor's appointment. He mentions it to Roman, and Roman tells him that Billie was upset when she left the pub, but doesn't have time to go into detail. Hope calls Bo and tells him that she is at the Kiriakis mansion, and Billie is trying to leave town. She tells him to get over there right away. Hope says that any decision involving Billie's baby should include Bo, and Billie should know that, too. Billie says she thought Hope would be thrilled that she's leaving, but Hope says she is putting the baby's needs ahead of her own, and that Billie should do the same. Billie says she would rather raise the baby alone than have it know that its father wished it were never born. Hope says Bo didn't mean that, but Billie says she is sure he did. A delivery man comes with the envelope of expense money for Billie from Titan, enough to get her far away, she says. Hope hangs around until Bo shows up and tells him Billie is upstairs packing. Then Hope says she will leave them alone, because her presence will only make things worse. Bo goes upstairs and tries to talk Billie out of leaving. Billie says that it's too late - she overheard what he said to Hope at the pub, and she knows he doesn't want her or the baby. Bo says that even though he loves Hope, he still cares about Billie and wants to be there for her during the pregnancy and the child's life. Billie tells him it's not enough and starts down the stairs with her bags. Bo goes after her and demands that she stop. He grabs her arm (haven't these people ever seen "Gone with the Wind?") and she struggles. Suddenly, Billie loses her footing and screams as she plummets down the stairs! 3/20 As Billie starts to tumble down the stairs, Bo manages to grab her just in time to save her from a nasty fall. They are both relieved, but Billie asks Bo if he would even care if she lost the baby. He tells her of course he would care, and that even though he wishes he hadn't gotten her pregnant, now that there is a baby, they have to deal with it and make sure it is given the best life possible. Billie says she is still going away, because she can't be sure Bo won't run back to Hope and leave her the second Hope gives him a chance. Bo says that all he can promise is that he will be there for her and the baby, nothing more. Billie says that will have to be enough, and she allows Bo to persuade her to cancel her travel plans. While they are hugging, Billie allows a triumphant smile to cross her face. She thinks to herself that she never intended to leave Bo behind. She thought he would come find her, but Hope made it easier by calling him. Now she has him where she wants him. Bo tells her to call Dr. Bader so they can do the ultrasound together, and Billie manages to get an appointment the same day. Hope watches Stefano sleeping and starts talking to him. She asks him what happened to her during her four years at Maison Blanche. While she is questioning him, Stefano wakes up and calls her Gina. Hope corrects him and asks if he is up for some questions. When she asks him what happened to her, Stefano says that he heard about a young woman badly burned and paid for plastic surgery out of the goodness of his heart. He claims he didn't even know who she was. Hope says that he must have known her when her face was reconstructed, and asks why he didn't contact her family. Stefano's blood pressure and heart rate start spiking, and Lexie rushes in and demands to know what is going on as she settles Stefano down. Hope says they were just talking, and Lexie says she must have said something to upset Stefano, and tells her to leave the room. Lexie follows a few minutes later and tells Hope that Stefano is stabilized, but suggests that Hope refrain from visiting him any more, and that she stop bothering him when he gets out of the hospital. Hope is surprised by Lexie's tone, and asks her what's going on? Lexie says he just had a heart attack, and no matter what Hope thinks of him, Lexie is concerned for his health, as she would be for any patient. Hope sees John and tells him that Stefano called her Gina and reacted badly to her mention of Maison Blanche, just as he did at the jungle compound. She tells him she is determined to get to the bottom of the mystery. 3/23 At the hospital, Hope and John talk in the lobby about Stefano. She is determined to find out the truth about her past. John asks her about Bo and she says that she and Bo have no future together so she will concentrate on her missing years. They recount Stefano's story about finding and helping her and discuss the possible reasons he held her after her recovery. They talk about what Stefano did to John and what all Stefano has done. Hope thinks maybe she never even had amnesia, that Stefano stole her memories. She says that with Stefano in the hospital, it's a good opportunity for her to snoop around. She asks John not to mention any of this to Abe/ for she doesn't want Lexie/ to know about it being that she is so defensive of Stefano. Bo and Billie are also at the hospital for her sonogram. She is afraid that there is something wrong with the baby. Dr. Bader administers the sonogram and they see the baby. Afterwards Dr. Bader talks to Bo alone and tells him that Billie is under a lot of stress and is concerned about the baby's health. He asks about the drugs and she says they won't know until after the amnio but her pregnancy is definitely high risk and asks him to help keep Billie stress-free. She gives them the picture of the baby and leaves. Bo and Billie enter the lobby while John and Hope are talking. Hope says she is glad she decided to stay, honest. Billie sticks the sonogram picture in her face. Hope asks if everything is okay and wishes them luck. She gives John a peck on the cheek and leaves. Out on the terrace, Bo apologizes to Hope for Billie's behavior back inside. He thanks her for calling him about Billie. She tells Bo she is going in search of her past. He disapproves, but she is determined. He wants to help her but she refuses, saying he has his own responsibilities now. He says they made a good team once, but she says those days are over. She turns to leave, but he stops her and tells her that he is not giving up on them. Inside, she runs into Billie again and congratulates her on her little plan working, but to be careful, next time it may backfire on her and leaves. 3/30 Bo was at the hospital and asked Lexie about Stefano. Lexie said that Stefano was stable, but she was worried about her mom. Bo told Lexie that if she didn't hear from Celeste soon then she should go see him. Bo changed the subject back to Stefano's release. Bo and Lexie argued about Stefano. Alice suggested that Hope go to Marlena or Laura for help to remember what had happened. Hope said that she believed Stefano was the only one who could help her, and she believed that once she remembered what had really happened, it could spell the end of Mr. Stefano DiMera. Bo dropped by to see Hope, and they discussed her past and connection to Stefano. Bo told Hope that he thought they should go search Jonsey's place while Stefano was in the hospital. Hope told Bo no way; she was doing it on her own. 3/31 Bo and Hope hid outside of Jonsey's place and watched Stefano's henchman, Bart, leave. After Bart left, they broke in and started searching. Hope found a picture of Maison Blanche. Hope had a few memory flashbacks, but recalled nothing new. Hope told Bo that she didn't think she had been at Maison Blanche for the entire four years she had been missing. Hope looked through an art book and recognized a painting in the book as one she had seen. Suddenly, Bart returned. 4/1 Bart returned to the townhouse while Bo and Hope were still trapped inside. Bart got a call before going into the house, which gave Bo and Hope time to hide. Bart gave Stefano a call to inform him of a lead on Celeste, but Stefano told him to handle it himself. Bart eventually left, and Hope continued to search around. Hope found a file, but when she opened it, Bart returned. Hope dropped it on the floor and ran. After Hope and Bo had left, there was a picture of Hope from a newspaper, wearing clothes from the 1930s, and the paper was Russian. 4/13 Hope has joined Mike, Jennifer and Jack to offer her support. They all talk about Laura and the evidence against her. Hope says that Bo is at the Blake house with John, looking for evidence to help clear Laura. Hope informs everyone that she talked to Mickey and if he has any news he will contact them on Hope's cell phone. She also said that Mickey has an appointment with the DA in the morning. Mickey told her that he is sure that he can cut a deal, but it will have to be based on temporary insanity and Jen doesn't like that. Mike, Jen, Hope and Jack all rush to the television. Carrie announces that she is the spokesperson for the family as questions are hurled at her. In her statement, she says that the Hortons and Bradys stand by Laura 100% and believe in her innocence. 4/14 At Abe's office, John & Bo turn in a bullet near the Blake house, which John brings in as evidence. John hears from the lab and they say that the bullet he found had blood on it. Hope arrives at the PD. 4/15 John, Bo, and Hope show up at the courthouse and inform Abe about the bullet with blood on it. Abe asks to speak with the judge. Celeste tells the judge that the bullet struck her. The judge orders the council into his chambers. Celeste tells the court that she saw Kristen alive after Laura had left. The judge tells the court that he'd like to take a few moments for his decision. Stefano just prays that the case will be closed and the body won't be exhumed. The judge returns and tells the court that he's reached a decision. 4/16 The judge announces his verdict in Laura's hearing. He tells her that he has decided to drop the murder charges on one condition: she must plead insanity in order to avoid attempted murder charges. Laura is horrified at the thought of going back to the asylum. Hope questions Celeste and Stefano. Stefano tells them about Celeste's jungle madness and apologizes to Lexie for not telling her sooner; he didn't want to worry her. Roman questions Stefano's motives as the timing is sure convenient for him for Celeste to reappear. Bo and Hope leave in disgust, and Hope says she won't get any information about Maison Blanche from Celeste, now that she's so indebted to Stefano for saving her life. Bo asks Hope to join him for a cup of coffee so they can talk, and she agrees. 4/17 Hope and Bo go to Salem Place to get a cup of coffee and run into Billie. Hope tells Bo that she will discover the secrets of her past without his help, she can handle it on her own. She leaves Bo and Billie alone, and Bo tries to explain to Billie why he wants to help Hope find out the secrets of Maison Blanche. Billie says that the search could be dangerous, and Bo could not only lose his life, but their baby could lose his father. At Kristen's mansion, Hope arrives and asks Celeste to help her solve the mystery of her missing four years. Celeste says she wasn't there for most of it, and only returned from Paris in the last few months of that time at Stefano's request to take care of "Gina." Hope asks Celeste if she is hiding anything to protect Stefano, but Celeste says she isn't. Hope wonders if Stefano erased her memories of her time as Gina. Celeste tells Hope that if she finds anything out, she will tell her. Hope gives Celeste a hug and leaves. Later, Celeste takes out a box of things Gina had, wondering if she should give them to Hope. 4/20 At the Horton House, Hope doesn't understand why she keeps remembering a specific Waltz. Bo shows up and asks if she talked to Celeste? Hope says she did, but Celeste claims that she doesn't know anything. Bo doesn't know if Celeste is being honest, but Hope tells Bo that Celeste never knew what she looked like because she left Salem when she (Hope) was just a baby. They continue talking about Celeste and Stefano and Hope tells Bo about the waltz she keeps hearing. Bo wants to help Hope find out the truth, but she wants to do it on her own. Hope says that she should go to Titan to find out her work schedule and Bo tells Hope he's going to wait for Shawn D. to get home so he can spend some time with him. Hope goes to Titan and catches Billie about to take a drink. 4/21 Hope walks into Billie's office and stops her from taking a drink. Hope tells Billie that she has to stop thinking about herself and start thinking about the baby. Hope tells Billie that despite what she thinks, she does care about her and the baby. Billie claims that she is just playing Bo. Hope says that Billie will have to face the fact that Bo and her have a son, which will bond them forever. So Billie just needs to stop crying and face it. Billie gets angry and throws her drink in Hope's face. Kate walks in and asks what is going on. Hope says that she's had enough of both of them, so she quits and walks out. Billie tells her mom that Hope doesn't know it, but she just gave her the perfect way to keep Bo by her side 24 hours a day. 4/24 Bo and Shawn D are eating dinner at Mrs. Horton's. Shawn D tells Bo that his cooking wasn't as good as last time because Hope wasn't there to help him. They start tossing mashed potatoes at each other and just as Bo launches a big spoonful, Hope walks in the door and gets nailed. Shawn D watches in delight as his parents have a food fight. Hope calms down first and Shawn D leaves them alone. Hope tells Bo that his first concern now should be Billie and the child. She tells him she almost caught Billie taking a drink of brandy. Bo is upset and wonders why Billie would do that to herself or their child. Hope tells him it's probably because he's spending all his free time with her (Hope). Bo promises to take care of Billie, but lets Hope know she will always be first in his heart. Stefano pressures Celeste to keep Hope from finding out about her past at Maison Blanche. Celeste doesn't want to help him, but Stefano convinces her it is best for Hope if she does. After Bo leaves, Hope notices a mailed package addressed to her. As she is about to open it, Celeste bursts into the room and begs her not to. Billie mixes a drink that looks like a martini, but is actually just water and olives. When she hears Bo coming in, she poses with the drink lifting up to her lips to make sure that he sees her. 4/27 Hope asks Celeste why she snatched the box away from her. Celeste says she wasn't honest when she told Hope she didn't know about her past at Maison Blanche. Celeste says she was with Hope the entire four years watching her recuperate from her injuries and have reconstructive surgery, and she just didn't want to remind her of the painful memories. Hope says if that's the case, there's no harm in looking in the box. The box contains an intricate wooden case with some expensive toiletry items, including a silver mirror and lipstick case. Hope puts on some lipstick and Celeste asks her if she's having a memory. Hope says she isn't, but she wonders where she got these things. Celeste says Gina was very important to Stefano and he gave her everything she wanted. Hope pretends she believes Celeste that nothing else happened while she was at Maison Blanche. Celeste tells her it's best not to try to remember, and Hope pretends to agree. As soon as Celeste leaves, Hope says she will never give up, but she will let Stefano and Celeste believe she did. Celeste comes in and tells Stefano that she has convinced Hope to give up on finding out about her past. Stefano says she's done well, but if he needs her services in the future, he hopes she knows better than to refuse. Celeste storms out without a word. Bo walks in on Billie pretending to drink a martini. He is alarmed and asks her what's going on. Billie puts on an Oscar-winning performance, pretending she is so worried about the amniocentesis and the possibility of their baby being harmed by her drug habit that she is driven to drink, since Bo is never around for her. Bo says he'll always be there, and Billie tells him to shut up, because she's heard it all before and obviously it isn't true. She pretends to flip out and hurl her drink on the floor and break down sobbing. Bo holds her in her arms and can't see her smile of triumph that her plan is working. Bo says he will be there for her more often and will go to the amnio with her tomorrow. Billie says she'll be fine with his support and tells him to leave her alone for a while. Bo leaves and Billie jumps for joy, mentally thanking Hope for giving her an idea of how to hold on to Bo. Bo heads over to Mrs. Horton's house to talk to Hope. He tells her that Billie kicked him out and Hope asks exasperatedly, "What's she up to now?" Bo looks shocked at Hope's cynicism. 4/28 At Mrs. Horton's, Bo tells Hope that Billie is going through a very rough time with her worry about the drug use affecting the fetus, and that he caught her about to take a drink. Hope is in disbelief that Billie could be so reckless and tells Bo that his place is with Billie to make sure she does nothing to harm the baby. Bo says that he will be there for Billie, but he also wants to help Hope with her quest to find out more about Maison Blanche and her missing four years. Hope says she can take care of herself, but Bo says he won't let her endanger her life by going up against Stefano alone. Bo sees the box on the table and asks what it contains. Hope says it contains clues to her past. 4/29 Hope shows Bo what's in the box that Celeste sent - the comb, mirrored compact, and lipstick. She asks him why Stefano would have given her a mirror if her face was so horribly scarred for so long? If he waited until her face was reconstructed and he knew she was Hope, then why does the mirror have the initial "G" on it? Bo is worried that if Stefano had her involved in something, it would have been illegal. Bo warns that Stefano surely doesn’t want her to remember now. Bo urges her to give up her search because he doesn't want to lose her. Hope says there is no way, now that she is close to the truth. Bo begs her to be careful, but says that he can't be there for her all the time because of Billie. He leaves and Hope looks ready to cry. As they leave the piano bar, Roman promises Billie he'll always be there for her. She tells him he's a wonderful man and they embrace. Just then, Bo walks up and looks disturbed. 4/30 Bo asks Billie and Roman what's going on? Roman says he'll leave them alone and gives Billie another hug and kiss before disappearing. Bo notices the closeness between them. He asks Billie what she's doing out, and if she was drinking. She says she only had mineral water and she was just bored and unable to sleep. Bo takes her home and rubs her shoulders and then leaves to get some pistachio ice cream because Billie says she craves it. Billie smiles in triumph and tells herself her plan is working perfectly. When he's out looking for the ice cream, Bo runs into Roman again. Roman says they need to talk more and he reminds Bo of his promises to Billie in Rome. Bo wonders why Billie told Roman so much and asks Roman when he appointed himself Billie's protector. Roman says they're friends and he is looking out for her. He tells Bo that right now, Billie needs him more than Hope does and Bo should remember his responsibilities. Bo hates the lecture and tells Roman that he's getting ice cream for Billie right now. Roman says he's only lecturing because he wants to keep Bo from making a mistake. Bo says that's great, but just as he will never stop loving Hope, Roman will always love Marlena. That stops Roman short. Bo goes home and gives Billie the ice cream and decides to sleep at her place so that he can go to the amniocentesis with her in the morning. 5/1 Kate walks into her living room and wakes up Bo, who spent the night on the couch. She rudely tells Bo that if he won't sleep with Billie, there are lots of spare bedrooms. Bo says he just crashed on the couch so he could take Billie to her amniocentesis. Kate tells him it's too little, too late, and that he should stop spending all his spare time with Hope and concentrate on his pregnant wife. Bo asks her what she did to make Hope quit? Kate says Hope has her own mind and no one makes her do anything. Billie is eavesdropping on them and walks in when the conversations starts getting too heated. She tells Kate she can handle it and Kate leaves for the office. Bo takes Billie to Dr. Bader's office for the amnio and has to practically hold Billie down to keep her from walking out, she's so nervous. After the amnio, the doctor tells them they'll call with the results. Bo pulls some strings and gets Billie a private hospital room to relax in while they wait. Billie is touched by Bo's solicitude. Franco bumps into Hope at Salem Place and asks her if she's going to the photo shoot. Hope tells him that she quit Titan a few days ago because of Kate and Billie. Franco is shocked and tries to talk her into coming back, but Hope says her mission now is to find out about her past. Franco almost slips by saying that Kate didn't mention this to him. Hope asks why Kate should tell him anything about her, but Franco says it affects him because he and Hope are modeling partners. She says she's sure he'll be fine without her. Heading to Salem Place, Stefano sees Hope, who has just put away the mirror with Gina's initials. He is polite to her and convinces himself that she is not a threat. Hope telephones the doctor in New Orleans who worked on her reconstructive surgery. He remembers her after a while and tells her he has been wanting to talk to her because he has discovered something very interesting. 5/4 Hope arrives at a hospital in New Orleans and a nurse takes one look at her and says "Oh my God!" Hope questions the nurse, but she won't talk to Hope. Later, other nurses have similar reactions to Hope. Hope decides to give Bo a call and tell him what is going on, but Hope is told that Bo is at the hospital with Billie. Hope then tries to ask a nurse why she is staring at her, but the nurse just walks away. Hope eventually confronts the nurse and she tells Hope that they all knew her as Gina, but she didn't look the way she does now when she left. Hope asks for her last name, but before the nurse answers, a doctor comes out of his office and greets "Gina." The doctor tells Hope that he knows something that believes she will be very interested in hearing about. 5/5 Billie and Bo return from the amnio and she says she is nervous about the result. Bo tells her they need to be patient and positive. He asks if she is hungry and she says no and he comments that the doctor said she was not gaining enough weight. She says she's not hungry and hesitates, so Bo asks her if she has been drinking. She nods her head yes and he starts complaining. She says it's an occasional glass of wine with a meal and it helps increase her appetite and Dr Bader said it was okay. Bo can't believe with her history that she is drinking and that Dr Bader okay'd it. She promises she will not do anything to jeopardize the health of their baby. She says that she lost a best friend in Hope and she is sad too. She continues whining, but when Bo goes to get them some lunch, she smiles and says score one for me, now if I can just keep Bo around 'til the baby comes, maybe I will have him forever. Bo returns with Henderson in tow and they sit to eat. Bo notices a bottle of wine and asks Henderson why it's there. He figures they might want one with their snack. Bo says they will both just have milk and Billie replies, “Why Bo, you do care about me.” The doctor tells Hope that he did not complete her surgery, that she was with him about six months and then she went somewhere else for about another year to have three more surgeries but he has no idea who did the surgery. She asks why he didn't tell her this three years ago and he said he thought she already knew that. We sees a lady come in that seems to stop and stare at Hope and we see her arms are scarred but we never see her face. She seems to be interested in Hope though. Dr. Harper finally tells Hope that he lost all her records in a hospital remodeling, but he later found something she might want to see. She tells him he has to give it to her and he says it's a pic of her when she left him. He gives her an envelope and says if he can do anything for her just call. She nervously opens the envelope and says, “Oh Bo, I really need you now, I wish you were here.” 5/6 In New Orleans, Hope puts the picture down on the counter and walks away. A mysterious woman shows up and looks at the picture and says "It is you, I remember you." Hope returns and gets the picture and then asks Dr. Harper if he has other photos. Dr. Harper says that he lost them with her other records. Dr. Harper looks at Hope and asks her if she's lost weight or changed her hair color. Hope admits to losing weight, but she says she hasn't changed her hair color. Dr. Harper comments that is funny because he doesn't remember it being this color, he recalls it being darker. Dr. Harper is beeped and has to leave. Hope recalls talking with Celeste about her surgeries and wonders if Celeste was telling her the truth. Hope recalls going to the compound and wonders if Dr. Rolf completed her surgeries and perhaps she was kept at the compound before going to Maison Blanche. 5/11 Hope arrives at her hotel room in New Orleans and keeps looking at that picture. Outside her room, a woman with a scarred arm shows up and knocks on Hope's door. Hope asks the woman if she can help her and the woman tells Hope that they must talk right away. Hope lets her in and the woman tells Hope she knew her in the hospital. The woman tells her that it was a terrible time for her, but it was worse for Hope. The woman is shocked that Hope has no visible scars. She also says that her demeanor is different as well. The woman tells Hope that she used to have night terrors in the hospital and that she tried to escape from the hospital as well. Hope asks her what happened to her after leaving the hospital. The woman tells Hope that she believed she lived in Bayou Dugar, which puzzles Hope. The woman says that Hope wanted to go back to where the fork tree meets the river. Hope becomes upset and the woman leaves. Bo is at the station and calls Alice to talk to Hope. Alice tells Bo that Hope has gone to New Orleans to investigate her past. Bo tells Alice goodbye and Billie shows up with a burger and shake for him. Bo tells Billie that she should be home and relaxing. Billie tells Bo that she has an idea how they can have a new beginning. Billie asks Bo to move in with her until the baby is born. Bo is reluctant to move in because he tells her that he may be leaving town for personal reasons, but Billie knows it has to with Hope. Bo tells Billie that he wants to help Hope because Stefano is involved and he tells Billie that this is just something he has to do. They argue. Billie becomes upset, but Bo says that Hope is in danger. Billie asks Bo if he's going to New Orleans because he's worried about Hope or because he loves her. Billie tells Bo not even to answer her question because she knows the answer. Billie asks Bo if he only told her he loved her so he could sleep with her, but Bo is called out of the office before he can answer. Hope calls Bo's cell phone and Billie answers, she is still waiting for Bo to return to his office. Hope asks to speak with Bo, but Billie tells her that he's not here. Billie tells Hope to leave her and Bo alone, and then she hangs up. Bo returns and asks Billie if someone called him. Billie tells Bo the truth and he becomes upset. Back in New Orleans, Hope realizes that she must go into the Bayou alone. 5/12 Bo longs to go help Hope, yet he also has to be here for Billie and the baby. Bo calls the doctor to here about the results, but the doctor says they won't be in for a day or two. Bo decides to go to New Orleans and be back in time to hear the results. Bo shows up and they all start fighting and Kate leaves so Bo and Billie can talk. Bo tells Billie that he's called the doctor about the amnio and that they won't get the results for a day or two. Billie thanks Bo for being here for her, but she senses something is wrong. Bo tells Billie that he's going to New Orleans for the day to help Hope. Billie gets angry and Bo says that there is nothing they can do until the results come in. Billie realizes there is nothing she can say to stop Bo, so she tells him to just go. Bo goes to see Roman and tells him that he's going down to New Orleans for the day and he'd like him to watch Billie for him. Roman is angry with Bo because he should put Billie over Hope. Bo says he'll only be gone for the day, so Roman agrees. In New Orleans, Hope has a terrible dream of someone forcing her to look at herself in a mirror. Hope decides to go to Bayou Dugar and decides to do it without calling Bo. Hope drives a car to the Bayou and ends up at a gas station to ask for some directions. Suddenly a dog jumps up onto the door of Hope's car and begins barking at her. A man shows up and pulls the dog off and he seems to recognize Hope. Hope asks him if he knows her, but he says no. Hope shows him the picture of her from 7 years ago and the man says that she could never have looked like this. Hope asks the man if he knows where the river meets the forked tree and he tells her no, but he suggests she go home now. Hope refuses and continues with her search and ends up being knocked out. 5/13 Bo arrives at the hotel looking for New Orleans and learns that Hope isn't in her room. Bo asks the man at the front desk where Hope could be. Bo learns that Hope rented a car and took off with a map of Louisiana. Marlena and John run into Bo in the hotel lobby and Bo tells them that Hope is here as well. Hope is in the Bayou and is passed out cold. Hope eventually wakes up and wonders who could have thrown a rock at her. Hope hears someone and Wayne, the man from the gas station shows up and once again warns her she should have left, and now he has to teach her a lesson. Hope tells Wayne that all she wants to do is remember what happens and she believes she lived here. Wayne tells her that there is no one out here and that he'd remember her if she lived here. Hope asks Wayne if he through the rock at her and he just tells her to go home. Hope leaves. Hope returns to the hotel and is greeted by a worried Bo. 5/14 In New Orleans, Bo asks Hope what happened to her head. She says it was a fall, but Bo doesn't believe her and asks Marlena to check her out. Marlena tells her to be careful with a head injury. Privately she tells John that obviously it wasn't a fall, because the area around it wasn't scraped. They all sit down to lunch together and Hope recounts her adventures in New Orleans. John, Marlena, and Bo all agree that it's too dangerous for her to continue her search alone, and they manage to persuade her to let Bo go with her. Hope is concerned that Billie will be alone, but Bo says the amnio results won't come in for a few days anyway. Hope finally thanks Bo for doing this for her, and Bo says he will always be there for her. 5/15 As Bo and Hope drive out to the bayou, they recall old times and almost reconnect, but Hope reminds Bo his future is with Billie and the baby and there is no chance for them. She tells him to concentrate on the mystery they're trying to solve or to go home. Bo agrees and they stop at the gas station where Hope got hit before. In the swamp, when Wayne and Earl see Hope and Bo prowling around, Earl tells Wayne they have to take care of these nosy people once and for all. As Bo and Hope pass by, Wayne and Earl attack them, taking them by surprise and holding them captive. 5/18 Bo and Hope have been attacked in the swamp and one of them manages to put Hope in a chokehold with his rifle. Bo tries to reason with them as Swamp Girl watches. Bo tells them that they only want to find someone who knows Hope, but they assure them that they've never seen Hope. Bo shows them the picture of what Hope looked like and Earl tells Wayne that there is no way there can be two of them. Hope hears this and asks him what he means by two of them. Wayne tells Earl to shut up and Bo asks them who they are protecting. Wayne tells Bo not to move and then he fires his gun. Wayne says it was a warning shot because he thought Bo was going for a gun. Bo says he was going for a picture and shows a picture of Stefano to them, but they say they've never seen him. Wayne gets hit with a rock and Bo manages to get Wayne's gun and chases Wayne and Earl off. Bo and Hope realize that someone is watching them and they go to his who that someone is, but they find nobody. Hope tells Bo that they need to go to the river and find the forked tree. Hope and Bo run across some food and realize that Wayne and Earl are protecting someone out here. Hope and Bo finally find the forked tree and as they race toward it, Swamp Girl follows in close pursuit. When they finally arrive it is dark and begins to pour and they are forced to seek shelter. 5/19 Bo and Hope are stranded in the rain. Bo leans over to kiss Hope, but she pulls away. The storm grows worse and Bo and Hope realize they may be stuck out in the Bayou all night. As they set up camp, Swamp Girl watches them closely, but she is scared off when Bo starts a fire. Bo and Hope start fighting about whether they have a future or not. Hope tells him that she can't think about the future until she finds out about her past. Bo says that her past is important to him as well and she's stuck with him as a partner whether she likes it or not. Hope pulls out an apple and Bo can't believe she's still carrying apples with her everywhere that she goes. Hope says Billie and the baby need him right now. Bo knows that, but he refuses to let Hope pursue her past on her own, end of story. Hope promises to let Bo know about any clues she comes up with about her past, but she suggests he move on with his life. Silently, Bo tells himself that he'll never give up her. While they are sleeping, Swamp Girl approaches Bo and Hope and steals Hope's compact. 5/21 In the bayou, Hope has a nightmare about running through the bayou with bandages on her face and body and being told by someone that she has to go back to Maison Blanche for more surgery. She wakes up terrified with Bo holding her. They are chagrined to realize someone has been through their purses and bags. DVD #34B Wayne and Earl show up with the shotgun and tell Bo and Hope to get out of there. They try to extort money from them for parking at their gas station. Holding them at gunpoint, they take Bo’s wallet and take his money. Before they can go, they hear an earsplitting shriek. Not far away, the swamp girl has Hope's mirrored compact and is gazing in horror at her reflection, screaming. Hope wants to go to her, but Wayne and Earl tell her to leave the swamp girl alone. Hope shows them the picture of her with injuries that the doctor gave her. In the car on the way back, Hope says she is determined to go back to the bayou by boat to figure out the secrets of her past, but Bo reminds her that Shawn-D's finals and middle school graduation are coming up and they need to be in Salem. Billie is in New Orleans looking for Bo. She finds out Bo has already missed his flight back to Salem and begins to get concerned. She finds out from the car rental agent that Bo and Hope went to Bayou de Garre. She heads out to look for him, and notices on the way that the baby has been very inactive all day. Later, Billie slumps forward onto the car's horn, passed out cold. 5/22 On the plane to Salem, Bo and Hope realize it would have been their 13th anniversary, and they both recall how beautiful their wedding was. He tells her that she has never looked more beautiful than she does today. Bo tries to talk Hope into getting back together with him, but she's not listening. Suddenly, she realizes her silver compact is gone. She tells Bo she planned to take it to a silversmith and find out if he could tell anything about where and when it was made. They figure out that the Swamp Girl must have taken the compact, and Hope wonders why. As Billie collapses on the horn of her car, Wayne and Earl see that Billie is passed out and break into the car. They take her inside and their mother takes over. Billie wakes up and is in terrible pain. Wayne and Earl's mom introduces herself as Arlene and says she is an experienced midwife. Billie says she doesn't need a midwife; she's not due yet. After Georgia’s birth, Billie is overjoyed and asks to hold her baby, but Arlene, who has swaddled the baby in blankets, looks at Billie nervously. The Swamp Girl buries the silver compact in the mud near the river. When the water comes up, the compact is carried away. 5/25 Bo learns that Billie went to New Orleans to find him. Bo is confused and Kate tells him that Billie went to New Orleans to tell him that the amnio came back positive. Bo assures Kate that he is going to do right by this baby and Billie. Bo apologizes to Kate if he made Billie worry. Kate lectures Bo that her daughter shouldn't be alone at this point of her life. Once again, Bo apologizes. Bo calls the hotel and leaves a message that he's very happy about the news. Bo goes to the hospital and talks with Dr. Bader, who says if Billie avoids stress and gains weight she should deliver a healthy baby. Billie asks to hold her baby, but Erlene takes the baby and tells her that it is stillborn. Billie breaks down and cries. 5/26 Bo gets a call from Roman in New Orleans telling him that Billie is missing. Bo tells Roman he will take the next flight back and help look for her. On the way to the travel agent he runs into Hope. He tells her about Billie being missing and they are both concerned that she might be in danger. But they forget about her real fast and begin talking about Hope and her returning to find more clues. Bo doesn't want her to go back alone and she is adamant that she can take care of herself. He asks about the other clues she has and she pulls them out and hears the waltz again but says the compact was of the most importance. Then Hope tells Bo he needs to get to the airport and that Billie is his number one priority. She says she knows he cares for her but he has to be there for Billie. He promises to be there for Billie and the birth of the baby. 5/27 Roman calls Bo, who is still in Salem Place with Hope. Roman tells Bo that Billie is fine and they are both coming home. Roman tells Bo that Billie is very special to him and he hopes Bo will take care of her. Back in Salem, Hope tells Bo that she plans to find the compact she lost and figure out what this waltz she keeps hearing is. Hope tells Bo that she wants to help him pick up a gift to give to Billie when she comes home to make her feel more secure. They go to a little shop and Hope is mistaken as the pregnant one. They correct the clerk and then buy a baby book. Bo thanks Hope and says he will do right by Billie and the baby, but Hope will always be first in his heart. Bo goes back to the Kiriakis mansion and asks Henderson to have the cook prepare a special dinner for Billie, who will be home soon. Hope is still walking around Salem Place wondering what triggers her to hear the waltz in her head. In Salem Place, Hope spots Billie and approaches her. 5/28 Bo waits for Billie at the Kiriakis mansion and has the cook make a special dinner for her, but can't figure out why Billie hasn't come straight home. Hope is puzzled to see Billie wandering around Salem Place when she should be home with Bo. Billie is staring at the compact with the letter "G" on it and remembering how she found it when she buried Georgia. Hope doesn't see it. Hope stops Billie and asks what she's doing there. She sees that Billie has been crying and asks her what is wrong. Billie says Hope is the source of all her problems. Hope tells Billie that she has given Bo up and is no threat, and Billie should stop playing the victim. Things get very heated between them, and Billie almost tells Hope she lost the baby, but stops short. Billie has a sudden pain and storms off, while Hope calls Bo to let him know she saw Billie at Salem Place and they had a fight. 5/29 Billie glances at the compact and cries some more for her baby. She turns on the radio and hears the song "Georgia on My Mind," which reminds her again of her loss. Suddenly, she doubles over with pain and crashes her car into a grove of trees. Dazed and hurt, she gets out and stumbles over to a house, where she pounds on the door until a man lets her in. Bo sits at the mansion, getting more and more worried about Billie. Finally, he calls Hope and asks her to check around Salem Place again. Hope wonders what kind of a game Billie is playing and says she will come over after she is done looking. She gets to the mansion and tells Bo about her conversation with Billie. Bo feels guilty for not being there and for making Billie so insecure. Hope tells him that while she knows his place is with Billie, she is sick of Billie's manipulations. The hours pass and they start calling hospitals and the police station. No one has seen Billie. Bo goes out to check something and Hope gets a call. It's a doctor in the country, saying that he has Billie Reed in his house. She was involved in an accident and is in bad shape. Hope gets the location and says she will be right over. She grabs Bo and tells him what happened as they race out the door. 6/1 Bo and Hope are driving over to Doctor Appleby's. At Dr. Appleby's, Billie wakes up and she has a bandage on her head. The doctor tells Billie that aside from her injuries from the car accident she is still recovering from her early labor. The Dr. gives Billie a prescription to help with Post partum depression, but Billie says she doesn't want any drugs. Dr. Appleby has to leave to check on another patient. Billie starts panicking about Bo. As she is crying, Bo shows up and holds her in his arms. Bo doesn't know about the baby and Billie tells him that she skidded off the road and bumped her head. Bo is relieved that both her and the baby are okay. Billie starts to cry and talk about New Orleans, but Bo apologizes for what happened down there. Bo promises Billie that from now on she will be here for her and their baby. Billie tells Bo that it's too late because their baby is dead. Billie says she was driving and passed out because she had horrible pains and when she woke up she was in labor. Billie tells Bo that the baby was just too small to survive. Bo holds Billie and Hope cries along outside, she hears the news through the open window. Bo wants to take Billie to the hospital, but Billie says that Dr. Appleby has done everything medically possible for her. Bo prays for their baby and asks God to give her the love she needs in heaven. Hope walks into the room and Billie screams that it was Hope who killed their baby! 6/2 Out at Dr. Appleby's, Billie accuses Hope of killing their baby. Dr. Appleby shows up and Bo asks him why their baby died. Billie butts in and says that after her fight with Hope, she was crying so much she couldn't see the road and crashed. Billie says that she made her way to this farmhouse where she gave labor to their baby, who died in her arms. Bo hugs Billie and then Bo asks to see his baby. Dr. Appleby tells Bo that the baby was taken away by the funeral home and he decides to give them some privacy. Hope decides to leave as well and she tells Billie that she is sorry about her loss. Bo tells Billie that he is the one who let her down and is so sorry. Billie says that they had a little girl and Bo cries that he was hoping for a daughter. Billie tells Bo that she named their daughter Georgia because it was a song that was playing on the radio as Dr. Appleby delivered their daughter. Bo informs Billie that he bought her a baby book, which Billie wants to fill out so they can remember Georgia forever. Bo thinks about what his little girl would have been like while growing up and blames himself. Bo goes to go back inside and Dr. Appleby tells Bo that "she" is here. Dr. Appleby leads Bo inside and to a room where a little "his" baby lies in a coffin. Meanwhile, Billie vows to make Hope feel what it's like to lose everything. Dr. Appleby goes back to see Billie and tells her that everything has been taken care of. Billie smiles and says the one good thing that has come of this is that Bo will never feel the same way about Hope again. Outside, Dr. Appleby tells Hope the baby was a girl. Hope goes home and continues to feel guilty. John shows up to show Hope the picture, but instead ends up comforting her. 6/3 John comes over to show Hope the picture he found of her, but he finds her crying and upset. Hope explains to John about how Billie lost her baby and it is her fault. John tells Hope not to beat herself up because if that baby was meant to live than it would have survived. After Hope calms down, John shows her the photograph he found and he tells her that he wants to help her find out about her past. Hope hears the strange waltz and then fills John in on the details about the items Celeste gave her and the mysterious Swamp Girl. When Hope mentions the place where the forked tree meets the river, John surprisingly says that somehow he knows that place. Dr. Rolf has shown up at Stefano's place. Stefano looks at the same picture of Hope while listening to the waltz, which Dr. Rolf identifies as the one they used on Hope. Stefano says that Hope must never learn about what she did for them or about Gina. Stefano assures Rolf that Hope is not a threat and they can safely move ahead with their plans. Billie tells Bo that the reason she went into labor so early was because of stress. Bo says he was the cause of that stress, but Billie says it was Hope's fault. Bo wants to see his baby, unaware that the coffin presented to him is filled with stones. Billie stops him by saying she wants something to eat. When Bo is away, Billie tells Dr. Appleby that Bo wants to see their daughter. Dr. Appleby tells Billie that he will take care of it. Later, Bo tells Billie that they need closure and he begins to make funeral arrangements, which upsets Billie. 6/5 John and Hope keep trying to figure out what the picture of Gina means. John tells Hope he remembers a legend about the Swamp Girl of the bayou, how she can kill bears with her bare hands and can wrestle alligators. Hope says that's ridiculous, but it's probably the same girl that Wayne and Earl told her about. Hope says the girl probably took her compact, although she's not sure why. She is sure that if she finds the compact, she can pinpoint the time when she recovered from her surgeries. She also reaches the conclusion that the woman who thought she knew Hope in the hospital was actually talking about the Swamp Girl, who was probably in the hospital with similar injuries at the same time that Hope was. They figure out that Stefano must be involved with scaring the Swamp Girl away before her surgery could be completed. John says the Swamp Girl might hold the key to Hope's past, and Hope declares that she has to get back to the bayou. Stefano and Rolf discuss how successful their complete their brainwashing of Hope and John was and that they intend to do the same thing to Vivian, as soon as the potion is finished. Stefano says that Maison Blanche burning down eliminated all the evidence and Hope has nothing to go on no clues. He smugly declares the name Gina means nothing to Hope, its only a name. 6/8 Bo is thinking about Billie claiming that Hope killed their baby. Bo says he knows Hope didn't mean to kill his child. Billie wakes up and Bo is by her side. Bo says that he's sorry he couldn't be there when the baby was born, but he will be here when they bury their baby today. Bo goes off to make some calls and Billie vows to destroy Hope's life and make Bo never feel the same about her again. Dr. Brock shows up and assures Billie that nobody will ever know how she really lost the baby. The doctor says that there is no way for them to tell why her baby was born stillborn. Billie says Bo and Hope can never know the truth about her baby, and of course, Bo walks in right as Billie says this. Bo asks what he's not supposed to know and Billie says she could have died during birth. At the Horton House, Hope tells Alice that Billie lost her baby and it's her fault. Alice doesn't understand, why Hope feels this way. Hope tells Alice about the huge argument she had with Billie, which upset her and caused her to crash her car and lose the baby. Alice suggests that Hope go see a priest, so she does. Hope tells him that she knows Billie will never forgive her, but she doesn't know about Bo. The priest tells Hope to ask God for forgiveness and then try to forgive herself. There is a knock at the door and it's Bo and Billie, who have come for the burial. The priest goes out to see Billie and Bo comes to talk with Hope. Hope says she's really sorry about what happened and Bo says it must be part of God's plan. Hope says she'd like to stay for the burial, but she knows that's not a good idea. Bo leaves and Hope hopes that Bo will forgive her one day. Hope then leaves, but runs right into Billie. 6/9 Bo goes into the confessional and tells the priest that it's his fault that his baby died. The priest tells Bo that he must accept God's will and move on, but Bo can't seem to do that. The priest tells Bo that all he can do is offer prayers for him because it seems that he doesn't want to be forgiven. Bo thanks him and leaves. In another part of the church, Billie asks Hope how dare she show up. Hope tries to tell Billie to understand, but Billie refuses and says that it's her fault that her baby is dead. Hope says she feels terrible, but Billie stops her and says that she is going to make Hope feel the pain she is feeling right now. Hope tells Billie that she knows she blames her, and she blames herself, but this was God's will. Billie refuses to believe that and she tells Hope that she murdered her daughter and she'll never let Bo forget that. Suddenly, Bo shows up in the doorway. Bo asks Billie not to add more pain to the current situation. Hope says she only came to pray for the baby and then she leaves. Bo and Billie bury Georgia and Hope watches from afar. Billie pulls out her compact and Bo suddenly asks "How did that get here?" Billie puts the compact away and asks Bo what he's talking about. Bo tells Billie that some violets are growing at their daughter's grave and Billie says it's a sign that Georgia will always live on. Billie and Bo show up. Kate asks them what is wrong and she tells them that their baby is dead. Kate comforts Billie and Roman tells Bo that he's sorry, but he hopes he was there for Billie when this happened. Franco goes back up to see Sami and find out what happened. Sami tells Franco that her dad told him that he was investigated for beating a woman. Franco tells Sami that it is true, he was investigated but it was all a set up. Franco tells Sami that he paid Jill Stevens to say he was beating her, it was all part of his plan to break up Bo and Hope. Hope finds Celeste in Salem Place and demands that Celeste tell her the truth about Maison Blanche. 6/10 Kate comforts Billie over the loss of her baby. Roman is angry that Bo wasn't there for Billie when she lost the baby. Billie tells them that she lost her baby last night because of the terrible fight she had with Hope. Kate and Roman both tell Billie how sorry they are for her loss. Billie says she feels so empty and alone, but Kate tells her that she'll never be alone again. Roman tells Bo that they should leave and let Kate and Billie be alone. Roman and Bo go back to the Brady Pub and out to the back. Bo expects Roman to tell him what a screw-up he is and to start the lecture. Roman tells him that he didn't bring him here to lecture him, he brought him here so he could talk to him. Bo cries to Roman about his baby girl and how it is all his fault. Bo confesses that he never knew how important the baby was to him until it was too late, and he'll never be able to forgive himself. Bo says that Hope is tearing herself apart with guilt when it was his fault that Billie lost the baby. Roman tells Bo that what counts now is the decisions he makes from here on out. Just as hope is telling his goon that Stefano wants to keep Hope away from Celeste, we see them run into each other in Salem Place! Hope is furious that Celeste lied to her about her past and confronts her. Hope accuses Celeste of still being loyal to Stefano, which she says is not true. Hope then asks Celeste to prove it by telling her the truth about Gina. Celeste tells Hope that she has already told her everything she knows. Hope tells Celeste that she knows when she left the hospital in New Orleans her face was not healed. Celeste tells Hope that when she came to Maison Blanche she was already there. Hope asks Celeste if it was Dr. Rolf that finished her surgery at Maison Blanche, but Celeste doesn't know. Hope tells Celeste that she knows it didn't take four years for her to recover from her surgery and wants to know what happened. Celeste tells Hope that she wasn't at Maison Blanche for four years and she only lied to her because Stefano forced her to lie. Celeste also tells Hope to never let Stefano know she's still pursing her past. Hope tells Celeste that she can't give up the search for her past because it's too important. Celeste says she has unresolved issues about her past, but she's leaving it there and moving forward. Hope tells Celeste that she can't do that and Celeste wishes her well. Celeste walks off and when Hope turns to leave, she runs right into Stefano. 6/11 Stefano bumps into Hope at Salem Place, and Hope starts hearing the waltz in her head. Stefano asks her what's wrong and she starts badgering him about her past. Stefano insists that she spent her entire four years at Maison Blanche recovering from her acid burns, but Hope says she doesn't believe him or Celeste any more. She threatens to expose him for the monster he is, but when she shouts out loud, Stefano grabs her and tells her that would be a deadly mistake. Hope says she will keep right on digging until she finds out what Stefano did with her missing four years. John approaches and tells Hope not to waste her time. Stefano says that Hope should give up her hopeless quest, the way he and Roman had to give up on Marlena. When he leaves, John tells Hope he spent the day computer enhancing the image of Gina that he picked up at Maison Blanche. He gives her the blown up pictures and asks if she recognizes anything. She says she doesn't, but perhaps Celeste will. Together, they go to Vivian's offices to confront Celeste. 6/12 John and Hope ask Celeste if she knows where the picture of Gina was taken. Before Celeste can reply, Vivian breezes in and John asks her where she's going all dressed up. Vivian says she is having dinner with a friend. She pitches an investment proposal at John, who says he's not inclined to invest right now. Vivian tells him to keep her company in mind and asks what the picture of Hope is about. Hope tries to put her off, but is surprised when Vivian recognizes the suit she is wearing in the picture as a classic designer outfit. Vivian is intrigued by the architecture in the picture and tells John and Hope that if they want, they can look at the architectural books in her townhouse while she is gone if they want to find out where the picture was taken. Then she says she is going to dinner with Stefano. John begs her not to get involved with him, but Vivian assures John she can handle Stefano. As she leaves, John says that although Vivian makes him angry sometimes, she is still family, and if Stefano messes with her, he is messing with John. They go over to Vivian's townhouse, where they are amazed by the treasures. They start looking through her books and Hope sees something that catches her interest. 6/15 Hope recognizes a painting of a landscape in a book and she tells John she's seen this painting before. John tells Hope that he has seen that painting in Salem Place, probably a reproduction, and it is where she probably saw it. John tries to ask Hope about Bo, but she says that right now she's focusing all her attention on finding out about her past. John starts looking through some more books and he thinks he found the building in the photograph. Hope looks at it and says that it's similar, but not the same one. As John starts searching through books, Hope goes into a trace-like state and sketches a landscape. John looks at it and Hope wonders why she even drew it. John tells Hope that he understands her dilemma better then anyone else. Stefano starts talking about family and Vivian mentions that Hope and John stopped by her office today and that she gave them the key to her townhouse so they can do some research. This startles Stefano, who begins to cough and choke on his dinner. Stefano goes to talk with Dr. Rolf. Stefano asks him if Hope saw something from her past, could it trigger her memory? Rolf tells Stefano that there is nothing that will trigger her to remember her life as Gina. 6/16 Caroline has a talk with Bo about his baby. Bo tells his mom that he has to stop thinking about himself and think about what is best for Billie. Shawn D. shows up and gives Bo a fishing lure he made. Bo wants to talk to Shawn D. about the baby, but he says he knows about it and he's sorry. Bo tells Shawn D. that he would have been a great brother. Shawn D. looks at Bo and asks him if they'll ever be a family again. Bo tells Shawn D. that he'll always love him and Hope, but right now he needs to be there for Billie. Shawn D. apologizes for asking, but Bo tells him that he always wants him to feel free to talk to him about anything. Shawn D. leaves to study for a test and Bo talks with Caroline some more. Bo says he's always been the black sheep of the family. Caroline tells Bo that if anyone is to blame it is her for not telling him earlier that Victor was his father. Bo tells his mom that he wishes he could have been like Shawn, but he's made a decision about his future and Billie. Bo shows up and apologizes to Kate for what happen. Kate asks Bo what he's going to do now and Bo says he's come to talk to Billie. Kate asks Bo not to make it any harder on Billie. Billie comes downstairs and Kate decides to leave them alone. Bo tells Billie that he has something very important to tell her. Bo tells Billie that they should grieve for their baby together, which is what Billie wanted to hear. 6/17 Bo tells Billie that he'll be here for her and they'll get through this together. Billie is overjoyed and tells Bo that he doesn't know how much that means to her. Billie starts talking about Hope again and Bo tells Billie that re-opening old wounds won't bring back their baby. Bo tells Billie that he's learned to keep his promises, like the one he made to her in Rome. Billie tells Bo that he knows how much he loved Georgia. Bo says it's to late now, but he hopes it is not to late for "us." Billie starts planning their future together, but Bo stops her. Bo tells Billie that he can't promise her a future with him. Bo says he wasn't talking about staying here forever. Billie becomes upset and accuses Bo of only staying with her until she gets over this and then he'll go back to Hope. Bo says Hope will never take him back, there has been too much damage done. Bo says they need to get over this loss, but Billie says she needs a husband who loves only her. Bo tells her that she deserves that, but he can't be that kind of husband because he still loves Hope. Billie calls Bo a bastard and slaps him across the face. Billie tells Bo that he's not worthy of her because he can't make up his damn mind. Billie orders Bo to get out of her sight, now! Bo tries to talk to her, but she screams at the top of her lungs for him to get the hell out of here. Bo leaves and Billie melts down. She starts loudly sobbing and throws a face of flowers across the room, and throws herself down on the couch crying loudly. After she calms down, she declares that if she can’t have that she will be damned if she lets Hope have him! She is counting on Hope’s overwhelming guilt over causing Billie’s accident and the baby’s death will prevent her from ever taking Bo back. 6/18 At Mrs. Horton's, Hope tells Bo to quit feeling guilty for Georgia's death when Hope is the one to blame. Bo says all he has ever done is screw up people's lives. Hope says everyone screws up, and says that if she had trusted Bo on their wedding day when she found him with Billie, they would be married and happy today. Bo says he should have trusted that she did not run off with Franco, and should never have made a commitment to Billie in Rome. He says that his love for Hope resulted in Georgia's death. Hope asks if he really believes that? Bo responds that all he knows is that if he had been with Billie during her pregnancy instead of chasing after Hope, Georgia might still be alive. Hope says that their shared guilt in Georgia's death will always keep them apart. Shawn-D comes in and sees them talking and asks if they're getting back together. Hope says they're not; they're just talking. She tells Shawn D he better get some sleep before his big exam tomorrow. After he goes upstairs, Hope tells Bo he needs to let himself heal. They embrace and almost kiss, and then Bo takes off on his motorcycle into the night. As Hope dries her tears, Billie calls. She asks Hope to meet with her first thing tomorrow morning. Hope eagerly agrees. 6/19 At Mrs. Horton's house, Alice and Hope discuss the upcoming Brady-Horton picnic. As Hope hunts for Galliano for Mrs. H's Harvey Wallbanger cake, Alice asks where Hope is going this morning. Hope says she's going to see Billie. Alice asks if that is wise. Hope says that if Billie needs to take out some anger on her, that's all right. She feels responsible for Georgia's death, and she thinks Bo believes she is responsible, too. Alice says that no matter what they're going through now, they were meant to be together. Hope says it's too late and they can't build their love on pain and guilt. Bo is asleep on the roadside next to his motorcycle when someone kicks him. Bo whips around with a gun pointed at the guy. The guy turns out to be an FBI agent, and he and Bo exchange identification and put their guns away. The agent tells Bo it's illegal to sleep at the roadside. Bo says he got tired and pulled over so he wouldn't crash. The agent asks where he's headed? Bo says he has been driving all night from Salem and ended up in Louisiana, and he supposes his business will take him to the Bayou de Guerre. The agent asks what his business is there. Bo says it's personal, but involves his ex-wife and his current wife. The agent wishes him luck and gives him a card to call him if he needs help. Bo sneaks back into the Bayou. He watches unseen as Arlene sends Wayne and Earl out to leave food for Swamp Girl. Bo now knows she does exist, and follows them. **The End** |
