DVD #37A 1/28 Hope explains to Bo that she slapped him earlier because she flashed back to an image of him making love to Billie. She goes on about being completely free and he can’t tell her what to do. He asks her if she wants to be free of him or if she wants to marry him? She assures him that of course she wants to marry him, but she just needs a little bit of time.

She tells him how much she loves him, and he agrees to give her the time she needs and to make up for the pain he caused her. She admits to being afraid as he didn’t believe who she was when she first came back to town, and he chose Billie. He then choose Billie again in Rome. He is concerned that she is bringing this all up now? He promises though that they will work through it all together, and he holds up her engagement ring to her and asks if she will wear it?

She hugs him and tells him that she loves him and calls him, “Brady”. She tells him that she knows they can be happy, she just needs a little time. He agrees as long as she promises to stay away from Dimera. She agrees. He warns her about being alone with a man as demented as Stefano. He holds the rings and says when she wears it, will be with her whole heart and a total commitment.

1/29 In Greta’s hospital room, Marlena encourages her to tell John about a specific memory of being with him and Gina when she was a little girl, cue the flashback. They have returned home from a trip and give Greta a present. Gina starts smoking and Greta wishes she wouldn't. John has to leave and Greta wishes John was her real father. Gina tells her never to say that, Father John is a priest and nobody must know how much time they spend together. John comes out of the session and wonder why Gina didn't want them to know they spent so much time together.

At the town house, Stefano is looking at his masterpieces and tells Rolf that tomorrow he will have Gina start copying them. He raves that Gina is the only one he has always been able to count on, she has never let him down. Rolf worries whether Gina can pull off the masquerade as Hope and fool everyone. Stefano has no doubt that she will.

2/1 Bo goes over to the Horton house to see "Hope", but Alice tells him that she's still sleeping. Bo thinks something is going on with "Hope" and he intends to find out what it is. Bo tells Alice about "Hope" slapping him, and then how "Hope" told him that she hasn't gotten over his betrayal with Billie and doubting her when she first returned to Salem.

Gina wakes up and says she can't wait to get back to Europe. She tells herself that after she does Stefano's job, she won't let him nor anyone stop her from living her life how she wants to live it. Gina is so happy to be back and says she doesn't want to waste another minute. She calls Stefano, who tells her to go to Vivian's townhouse and tells her about the secret entrance in the basement. He warns her to be careful where Bo is concerned, but Gina is confident that she can handle him.

Rolf is still worried that Gina will be found out by Bo because the real Hope is gone. Stefano says that he wishes Gina would get rid of Bo, but he knows that's not possible. He says that he just has to make sure Gina goes to Europe without Bo.

"Hope" comes downstairs dressed in one of her Gina outfits. She tells Bo and Alice that she has things to do today. Alice thinks their is something different about her. "Hope" tells her that it is probably the outfit. Bo asks if he may come with her to her appointments, but "Hope" says he has to clean Gran's garage. Bo suggests that they go see Greta because her bandages come off today. "Hope" wants to see Greta, but remembers Stefano's warning and tells Bo to just say hi to Greta for her.

At the hospital, Greta is a dream that her mom has come to see her. Greta doesn't want her mom to see her with the bandages. Gina tells Greta that everything will be fine, she is here for her now. Gina goes to the back of the townhouse and uses the secret door to get inside. Gina tells herself that she can't wait to get back to Europe and reunite with her daughter and partner. Stefano is waiting for her inside and Gina asks Stefano if he really expects her to paint in THIS place?

Stefano promises to make it all pleasing for her and will provide her with paints and espresso. However, Stefano tells Gina not to rush through the paintings, they must be perfect. Gina asks which painting to do first and Stefano asks her which one does she think? Gina answers the Rennet and Stefano says "of course!" As the two head upstairs, thinking Vivian is in New York, Vivian hears something.

Bo goes to the hospital to see Greta, who is with John. Greta asks how Hope is and Bo says she says hi and will come to see her later. Greta asks Bo why he seems blue, so he tells her that Hope turned down his proposal. Greta doesn't understand why and Bo says that Hope is nervous about making a commitment to him. However, he says he won't give up on Hope. Dr. Renault shows up to take off Greta's bandages.

2/2 Greta's bandages are removed and she asks how she looks. Dr Renault gives her a mirror and Greta exclaims "Oh my God!" Dr. Reneault tells her the redness will go away. Greta tells him that she's crying because she's happy, her scars are gone. Dr. Renault tells her that the surgery worked because whoever operated on her previously did an excellent job.

Bo says he never thought he'd be thankful to Stefano for anything. Greta says she is so relieved. Dr. Renault leaves and Bo tells Greta that she has a bright future ahead of her. John tells her that every young man in Salem will be lining up to take her out. Greta says she wants to find out about her mother and help John find out about his past. John says Marlena can hypnotize her if she wants.

Greta says she thinks Marlena is reluctant and John tells her that Marlena is afraid of what he might find out about his past, and Gina's. Greta says she wants to go to Europe to find what happened to her mother. John tells her that he and Marlena will go with her and Bo says he and Hope will go with her as well. Bo and John decide to start searching and say that when they learn the truth about Gina, they will also know what Stefano is up to.

Stefano and Gina are about to head up the stairs at the townhouse, thinking Vivian is in New York. Upstairs, Vivian hears something and fears Stefano has come for her. Celeste hears the noise as well, and they go to the basement door to investigate, not knowing Stefano is heading upstairs. However, Stefano hears Vivian and he and Gina hide. They are saved by a phone call from Dr. Wu, who has the studied the implant. Vivian tells Celeste and Ivan they have to leave immediately, and rush out.

Gina and Stefano go upstairs and Stefano wonders if Vivian has lied to him and is up to something. Gina looks around the place and says this is much more her style. Gina starts to smoke, but Stefano grabs them from her. He tells her that Hope does not smoke, which means she does not smoke. He tells her not to do a thing to give herself away! Gina looks around at the artwork she's done, and then she looks at Garden at Twilight and remembers stealing it. Stefano tells Gina he wants her to make a copy of all these forgeries. Gina looks at him and tells him that she won't do it.

Stefano says she has to do this, Vivian is going to leave these paintings to his enemies. Gina says she only wishes she had gotten the last painting and Stefano says he almost had it on the Empress Express, but Hope got in the way. Gina says they must get that painting and asks when they leave for Europe? Stefano says they will leave as soon as she forges these paintings. She says she yearns for her old life and remembers her partner. Stefano tells her that from the time she became Gina, she worked alone.

Gina tells him that he gave her all of the real Gina's memories, so she remembers her partner, Father John! She asks Stefano to bring him back again. Stefano tells her no, he has no memory of what he did and it could be dangerous. He tells her to work alone. Gina says she wants to see her friends and family, but Stefano tells her she can not see John or Greta. Gina says he can't keep her away from her daughter!

Stefano tells her that she's not the girl's real mother, but Gina says she has her memories and in her heart and soul she is Greta's mother. Stefano warns her to do as he says if she wants to stay Gina. Gina says she wants to, so Stefano tells her to stay away from Greta. Gina tells Stefano that if he turns her back to Hope, he'll have another enemy, but as long as she stays Gina, they both get what they want. Stefano says as long as they both want the same thing. Gina tells him of course they do and tells him not to worry so much.

2/5 Bo and John arrive at the Horton house to tell Hope the news they found out about Gina, but Hope is no where in sight. Bo and John discuss what they have found out, Princess Gina's credit card bills stop in 1990 in the Riviera. Bo is excited about the idea of working with Hope again and comments that he could use a dose of the good old days because the new days are putting a strain on their relationship! Bo looks at a picture of Hope in her wedding gown and says as soon as they solve this Gina stuff, they can work on their life together.

Gina and Stefano are at the townhouse. Gina is reading a book of poetry and she and Stefano remember the good old days in Europe. However, Stefano tells Gina not to display her knowledge of Keats around Bo. Gina says she knows what she is doing. Stefano asks her to start copying some paintings, but Gina says not now. Stefano reminds her of the threat of Vivian, but all Gina has to say is "Vivian Schmivian.” Gina tells him that if Vivian denies he has nobody to blame but himself. Stefano says he has Rolf working on that problem.

Gina says she knows all about Rolf and the man is not God. Stefano reminds her that he created her, but Gina says it's no fun being herself again when she can't BE herself. Stefano promises to whisk her to Europe once she finishes the paintings and she'll never have to be think about Hope again. Gina tells Stefano that she longs to see Greta and John again, but Stefano tells her that they have discussed this before.

He asks her to get to work on the paintings, which she does. Stefano leaves her and Gina has a memory of painting long ago. Father John enters the room and starts giving her a massage. The two embrace and Father John, minus the accent, asks if he's interrupting? She tells him the painting can wait and they hug.

2/9 In Gina's memory, she is very friendly with Father John and tells him that they should go on a picnic. John says he thought she wanted to finish her painting. She says she does, she just needs some inspiration. The two hug and Gina's memory ends. Rolf says that she only lived as Gina for four years, she isn't the real Gina. Gina tells him that she has all the real Gina's memories and she is the only Princess Gina at this point in time.

Rolf reminds her that she owes her loyalty and life to Stefano. Gina says she knows that, has she not demonstrated her loyalty? Gina says that she is happy to be in Salem, it gives her a chance to reunite with John and Greta. Rolf tells her that she was warned not to do that. Gina says she just wishes John could remember his past with her. Rolf tells her that Stefano deleted those memories from his brain, and she is not to do anything to give herself away! After Gina leaves, Rolf looks at her painting and says there is something different about Gina and he hopes he and Stefano can control her.

Bo is making chili when Shawn D. comes home. He tells his dad that he only makes chili when he's in a good mood. Bo tells Shawn D. that he has some good news for him. Shawn D. exclaims "oh wow, you and mom are getting married again?" Bo tells him no, he has information about Princess Gina. They talk about Gina and Hope, Shawn D. is afraid his mom could become Gina again. Bo tells him that will never happen. Shawn D. asks when they will move back to the boat and be a family? Bo tells him that he hopes it will be soon.

Bo calls Abe to ask for time off to go to Europe with "Hope" and he gets the time off. "Hope" shows up and Bo tells her they have something to celebrate, he shows her Princess Gina's credit report. Princess Gina's credit stopped when she took on Princess Gina's role, and the credit stopped at a hotel in Rome.

"Hope" remembers the hotel and blurts out the name, The Viviana. Bo asks her if she remembers being there? "Hope" says no, Lily told her. Bo tells her that they know Gina was involved with DiMera, and anything she did, and he means ANYTHING, is not her fault.

Bo wants to go to Europe and investigate Gina, but "Hope" tells him she isn't sure. Bo is confused and says he thought she wanted to find out about Gina and get some closure? "Hope" tells him that she needs time right now, she can't go away. Bo is still confused. Gina tells herself that she is sick of being boring Hope, she wants to be Gina.

"Hope" tells Bo that she has other things to do right now, she needs time before she can follow up on this lead. Bo asks "Hope" if she is hiding something from him? She tells him that she's just tired and doesn't want to talk about this right now. "Hope" tells Bo she'll have some chili tomorrow, it tastes better the second day anyway.

Bo tells her good night and says he's going out to the boat. Bo leaves and wonders what is up with "Hope." Meanwhile, Gina says that she is not Bo's Fancy Face and she will recapture her glamorous life, no matter what Stefano says.

2/10 Bo nearly gets into a fight at the Cheatin' Heart, but Roman saves him. Roman asks why he and Hope aren't celebrating their engagement? Bo tells Roman that she turned him down. Roman is shocked and asks why? Bo says that Hope claims she hasn't gotten over his time with Billie. However, Bo hopes to have a future with Hope and Shawn D. Billie walks over to Bo and Roman and Bo asks them how long they've been hanging out together.

Stefano and Vivian dressed in "cowboy clothes" walk into the joint. Stefano asks Bo how Hope is and Bo tells him that she isn't the same and it's because of him! Stefano says he wants to spend a pleasant evening with his wife tonight. Bo says he wants to do the same, but he and his wife are separated because of him. Stefano reminds Bo that if it weren't for him, he wouldn't have gotten Hope back. Stefano tells Bo that he is the one who has rejected Hope time and time again, he married Billie and got her pregnant, so Bo shouldn't blame him for his personal disasters.

Bo says he takes full responsibility for hurting Hope, but he's turned her into this Princess Gina and will do anything to stop them from getting to the truth. Stefano tells Bo that he is paranoid. Bo promises Stefano that he will get Hope back and he'll never hurt her again. Vivian wants to go home, but Stefano says he's talking to Bo about Gina. Bo wants to know why he just called her Gina? Stefano tells Bo it's time to face the truth, Hope is Gina and she is here to stay!

"Hope" gets an attitude with Alice. Alice tells her that she looks like she's going out. "Hope" says she is going out, but not to meet Bo. Alice asks "Hope" what she's up to. Alice tells her that she hasn't been herself for days, she thought she wanted to marry Bo? "Hope" says she does, but the time has to be perfect. "Hope" says she hasn't dealt with the pain of Bo and Billie. Alice tells her not to give up on Bo.

"Hope" says she won't give up on fighting for what she wants, and she silently says she wants what she lost so many years ago. Hope then begins to remember the romantic dance she shared with John, the same memory he recalled. Alice asks "Hope" what is wrong? "Hope" says she was thinking of a romantic time. Alice tells her she can make it come back if she really wants it, and "Hope" tells her that she is so right.

Greta tells John and Marlena about a time when John and her mom were going to go to a ball, but John didn't want to go to the ball because he couldn't dance. Princess Gina decides to teach John how to dance and she asks Greta to put on dance music, it's the mysterious Viennese Waltz! As Gina tries to teach him how to dance, he makes jokes, but then the mood gets very serious. The two lock eyes and dance.

Greta tells them that night was one of her happiest memories. John remembers giving Gina an intense look and Marlena realizes that John has finally remembered something. Just as Gina and John were about to kiss, Greta claps and interrupts them. Gina tells Greta that it is bedtime for her.

Greta leaves and John asks Gina if she realizes what is happening? John recovers and says what has happened is that she's taught him how to dance. John asks when they leave and Gina says the limo is waiting for them now. Gina tells John she feels lucky and blessed to have him in her life, but John says he is the one who is blessed. Marlena brings John out and says, "you remembered didn't you?" John, however, says he didn't remember anything and asks to be excused. Later, Gina says John was so good to her and her daughter, but could he honestly have forgotten what they shared?

2/11 Stefano and Bo are having words at the Cheatin Heart. Bo wants to know what Stefano meant by his Gina comment. Stefano, obviously having had a few too many beers, is cognizant enough to concoct a lie to Bo. Vivian steps in to defend her hubby, and Stef lets it slip that he knows that Hope rejected Bo's proposal. He catches him and wants to know how Stef knows that.

Stef covers again, and Viv lays into Bo saying that it was Stefano who saved Hope, and it's not his fault if Bo and Hope are not together again. Bo gets frustrated and leaves to play pool. Bo recalls Hope's refusal of his proposal and the other strange acts she's done and rushes out of the Cheatin'Heart to find her.

Gina is at the hospital, going to see her daughter. She recalls telling Rolf that she is able to fool everyone, including John and Greta. Gina enters Greta's room and recalls when her daughter was born. Back in reality, Greta is brushing her hair and Gina comes in.

Gina offers to help with Greta's hair and puts it up in a french twist. Greta is shocked, because her mother used to put her hair up like that. Gina covers, saying that she used to put Jennifer's hair up like that. Gina thanks Stefano for bringing Greta to Maison Blanche, but Greta thanks John and Bo.

The two start talking about Father John and that Greta is helping him get his memory back. Gina wonders what John has remembered, and Greta tells her that he hasn't had a breakthrough. Greta continues, saying she told them about the time Gina helped John dance. Gina recalls that memory and the two continue to talk about John and why he left Europe without saying goodbye. Gina recalls a meeting with Stefano (she's dressed in the red highlights). Gina wants to know where John is? Stef says that he was reassigned to the States.

Gina refuses to believe it, and back in reality, Gina says this to Greta. Greta is shocked that she would know this, and Gina covers saying Stefano told her. Gina remembers the aftermath of Stefano's proclamation of John's leaving, and Hope begins crying. Greta is getting suspicious now, and Gina leaves. Alone, Greta is wondering about Hope's strange behavior, and realizes what has happened.

2/15 Rolf reports to Stefano that last night she grilled him about John and Greta. Rolf warns him that Gina has a mind of her own.

Greta is looking at her face in the hospital when Bo shows up with a gift. Greta opens the gift, which is a hairbrush and mirror. Bo says Hope admired those at one time and he thought she'd like them. Greta tells Bo that "Hope" was here last night, and something strange happened. Greta tells Bo that she seemed so much like her mother, and she knew things about the past she couldn't have known.

Bo says she must be having more memory flashes and that she keeps pulling away from him. Bo asks her to tell him everything she said, so Greta does. She says that it sounded like she was desperate for John to remember. She then tells him that when she talked about John leaving her and her mother, "Hope" began to cry.

Bo fears that Stefano is gaining an influence over Hope and it scares him. Greta tells Bo that she will help him try to find out about Hope's life as Gina. Bo thanks her, but says it's not necessary. Greta knows Bo still doesn't trust her and she says she's told him everything she knows. Bo tells her that he still doesn't know what happened between Stefano and Hope, when she was Gina.

Bo asks Greta if Hope and Stefano were close at Maison Blanche? Greta says she was so out of it back then that she doesn't remember. She tells him she's sorry, but Bo tells her not to be because he appreciates her help. Bo says he'll have to figure another way to get to the truth. Greta tells him that she knows how, find out if Gina and Stefano ever stayed in one room at the hotels they stayed at.

Gina is in Salem Place and is so happy that she was able to see her sweet Greta. Gina says she's missed a lot of things, a lot of people. Gina remembers Greta telling her about John's hypnosis session. Gina hopes John gets his memories back so he remembers how they once felt about each other. Gina remembers another memory, one of her seeing a romantic movie with John.

John says even people who share the most intense love are torn apart. Gina says that she hopes he isn't talking about anyone they know. Gina comes back into the present and says they were torn apart, but can they recapture the love they felt for one another? In another memory, Gina John puts a locket on Gina, who is in the red dress and sporting a tiara.

Meanwhile, John is also in Salem Place and sees a dress similar to the one Gina was wearing in his memory. John wonders what he and Gina meant to each other. Gina, who is watching John, says that she has the distinct feeling that John does remember his feelings for her. Gina has another memory of her and John at a museum or house. They are looking at a Rennet painting.

Gina comes back to the present and says she so wants to run into John's arms and make him remember. Later, Gina sees John being drawn to a painting and she says, "You will remember me John, you will!"

2/16 Gina is in Salem Place remembering dancing with John. She can't believe that John forgot what they meant to one another. Bo comes up behind "Hope" and scares her. "Hope" tells him that she was admiring the beautiful dress in the window. Bo says it is nice, but it is something a princess would wear, and not her style.

"Hope" asks why he isn't with Greta? Bo says he was, and Greta is worried about her. "Hope" asks why and Bo tells her about his conversation with Greta. He asks her why she started to cry when they talked about John? "Hope" says she was emotional about Greta's face, but Bo says Greta thinks she cried because she was having memory flashes. "Hope" admits that she has had a few.

Bo tells her they need to go to Europe ASAP, but "Hope" tells him to stop hounding her, she's not ready. Bo is confused and asks her why she changed her mind about Europe? "Hope" says she's afraid to leave Shawn D again and Bo tells her that she's right, they should spend more time with him. Bo suggests they go to the Cheatin'Heart, but "Hope" says she's feeling sick. John calls Bo and tells him about the celebration for Greta. Bo says he can go, but he doesn't know about "Hope."

"Hope" asks Bo what is going on? She says she wants to go to the celebration. Bo asks "Hope" how come she changed her mind. "Hope" says she doesn't want to go, but it would be good for Greta and for them to get out. Bo says she makes it sound like it's going to be unpleasant for her, like she doesn't want to have a future with him. Bo apologizes for pushing and leaves to take care of things. Gina says she's finally going to see John again.

2/18 Bo goes to see Marlena about Hope, he needs advice dealing with her. Bo tells Marlena about Hope's anger toward him and her emotional outbursts. Bo tells her that he thinks Stefano is somehow controlling her. As they talk about Greta, and whether they trust her, Marlena tells Bo about John's breakthrough memory, which couldn't have happened without Greta's help. They continue to talk about Hope and Bo suggests he have Hope come see her. Suddenly, John calls and asks Marlena and Bo to join her in picking out a dress for Greta tonight.

Bo and Marlena show up at the dress shop and help John and Greta pick out a dress. Greta says she is so blessed that she has so many friends and she only wishes her mom was here with her tonight. Bo tells Greta that Hope will be with them tonight and will be happy to see her all dressed up. Bo tells Greta that he wants the first dance with her. When Bo and Greta leave to pay for the dress, Marlena tells John that Bo came to see her about Hope, he's very worried about her.

Gina goes to see Lilly and asks a favor from her. Gina asks her to use her connections to get a dashing red ball gown ready for tonight. Lilly asks if the dress is for her, but she says no, it's for someone special and close to her heart. Gina gives her a sketch and Lilly says she'll have her man get on it, and then asks if Bo is the someone special this dress is for? Gina tells her that it is a secret, all women have them.

Gina starts dancing around with joy and Lilly is so happy to see her happy again. However, Lilly tells Hope that lately, she seems so different. She asks what it is? Gina tells Lilly that she should be able to guess, they never had any secrets. Lilly tells "Hope" that she is so much like Gina right now, but that's not possible. Gina tells Lilly "why not? trust your instincts!" Gina tells Lilly that Princess Gina is back! Lilly asks if it is really her?

Gina remembers Stefano's warnings and she tells Lilly that what she meant was that when she's with her she feels like Gina. Lilly's dressmaker arrives. As Gina and the dressmaker talk, Lilly tells Lucile that tonight is the night Princess Gina returns! Gina looks at her dress and is positive that John will remember everything tonight.

Meanwhile, Lilly realizes Hope is changing back into Gina. Lily serves Gina some tea and scones and Gina recognizes the plate Lilly serves them on. Lilly says Hope was not knowledgeable about antiques, but Gina was!

2/19 At the Horton House, Bo tells Alice that being around Hope is frustrating lately. He tells Alice that he talked to Marlena about counseling and hopes Hope will agree to go. He says he plans to fight for Hope. Later, Bo decides to use tonight to connect with Hope, he just hopes it doesn't conjure up memories from her past. Alice tells Bo to forget about Hope's past and celebrate Greta's recovery. Bo says the one good thing that has come out of this is Greta.

At Lilly's, "Hope" recognizes the antique dishes Lilly is using and then makes an excuse why she recognized them, she says it was just a lingering memory of Gina. "Hope" says she wants everything to be perfect for Greta tonight. Lilly tells "Hope" that she sounds like she's talking about her own daughter. Hope says she is just very protective of Greta. "Hope" invites Lilly and Lucille, and Lilly accepts. Gina leaves and tells herself to make sure everyone still thinks she is Hope.

Greta is getting ready for her night out and remembers her mom catching her putting on makeup when she was little. Greta asks her mom if she had a good night with Father John? She responds yes, it was a magical night. Greta asks her mom if she really cares for John and Gina tells her very much. Greta wonders if her mother was in love with Father John.

Greta goes downstairs at the Horton House and Bo tells her she looks lovely. Bo says that as soon as Hope shows up, they will leave. Greta is puzzled that Hope isn't here yet. Gina shows up outside of the Horton out and asks God not to let her feelings for Greta and John to overwhelm her tonight, she can't give herself away. Gina enters and is moved to tears by Greta.

Bo tells "Hope" to hurry up and get dressed, but she says she won't be able to join them this evening. Bo tells her that everyone is expecting her and Greta says it won't be the same without her. "Hope" tells them that she's still feeling a little sick, but is sure they'll have a good time.

After Bo and Greta leave, Alice asks "Hope" if she's pushing Bo away. "Hope" says she's not, she is just taking some time for herself before making a commitment. "Hope" tells her Gran that she knows what it is like to lose a love, and she couldn't bare to face it again. She asks her if she understands and Alice asks "Hope" how she could ask her something like that. "Hope" says she's sorry and rushes out of the room.

As Marlena is putting John's bow tie on, John remembers dancing with Gina. John tells her that he had the same memory flash. Bo and Greta arrive and Greta doesn't know what to do because everyone is staring at her. Bo tells her to smile and enjoy it. Ms. Faversham and Lucille show up as well, and Lilly shocked to learn that "Hope" isn't here.

Back at the Horton House, the seamstress delivers the dress to Gina, but Gina doesn't think she'll be wearing the dress. However, when she looks at it, she says it is perfect, which is another reason why she can't go. GIna says if she wore this dress, everyone would see the truth written on her face. Gina remembers when Stefano told her that John has gone home, so she will be doing his job on her own. Gina tells herself that she can't see John tonight, she just can't.

Back at the Tuscany, Bo introduces Greta to Lilly. Lilly and Lucille take their seats and Bo and Greta dance, as do John and Marlena.

Downstairs, Stefano and Rolf find that Gina has done very little painting and wonders what she has to do that is more important. Rolf says she has to pretend to be Hope, otherwise people will get suspicious. Stefano says he misses Gina, and then says Gina and John were such a good team, Gina stole the art and John smuggled it! However, Stefano says it would be disastrous if John and Gina where ever in the same room together. Rolf reminds Stefano that Gina has to finish these paintings before Vivian dies. Stefano becomes upset and says he won't lose Vivian or his paintings.

2/22 Stefano is wondering why Gina has done very little work and hopes she isn't up to her old tricks. Stefano begins to worry and fears she may be trying to relive her past with Greta and John. Stefano decides that he has to find out where Gina is.

Stefano says that the last time this happened was when the original Gina learned John was gone, she lost her passion and protested working for him, and that was when he lost the original Gina. Rolf says that she did everything so perfectly, dance, played, loved. Stefano sternly asks Rolf, "Whom did Princess Gina love?"

Rolf says it's not a question of whom she loved, but who loved her. Stefano laughs and says everyone loves her, but he never knew her to be in love with one man. However, Stefano has doubts, and wonders if Hope/Gina will be able to tell them who she might love. Bart calls Stefano and Stefano is furious because Gina is with John and Greta.

Rolf says maybe she had to go to play Hope's role, and Greta won't know who she really is. Stefano says that it is not Greta he is worried about. Rolf doesn't think John will remember, but Stefano says he hasn't come face to face with Gina since they erased his memory.

Suddenly, Gina walks into the restaurant sporting the red dress and tiara and draws everyone's attention. John recalls dancing with her and the two lock eyes. Lilly tells Lucille that Gina is back! Bo wonders why everyone is staring at "Hope." Greta tells Bo that isn't "Hope", that's her mother, Princess Gina. Gina silently tells herself that John will remember her. Bo tells Greta that her mom is dead, this is Hope.

However, Greta says "just look at her," and that the dress is the one from her memory. Bo approaches "Hope" and she tells him that a few aspirin have made her feel like a new person. "Hope" says Greta looks beautiful and thanks Bo for everything he's done for her. Marlena tells John that "Hope's" dress is pretty and John says the only time he's seen her look like that was when she was pretending to be Gina in Lugano.

"Hope" tells Bo that John and Marlena look happy and Bo tells her that John was about to make an announcement. "Hope" goes to see Lilly, who tells her that if she didn't know better that she'd say she was the real Princess Gina. "Hope" orders some expensive champagne, which worries Bo.

Bo pours the champagne and toasts to Greta. "Hope" tells Greta that she's so proud of her. Greta tells her that she's so glad she came tonight. When they are alone, Greta tells "Hope" that her dress is an exact replica of a dress her mom owned one she wore when she taught John how to dance. Greta asks "Hope" why she is trying to be Princess Gina?

Marlena saves Gina, because she wants to talk with "Hope." Marlena tells her that Bo is concerned about her, and she is too. "Hope" says she's having problems dealing with her past and Marlena says she understands because John is having problems too. "Hope" quizzes Marlena on what John has remembered, and then tells her that she believes she could be very helpful to her. Marlena is thrilled and tells "Hope" "anytime."

John looks at Gina and says, "it can't be!" Gina sees John looking at her and knows that he remembers her. Bo tells "Hope" that he loves her, and she tells him that she loves him. They talk about loving with one's entire heart and soul, and "Hope" says John loves that way as well. Bo says he does, he loves Marlena that was because she is his one true love.

Bo kisses "Hope," who is thinking of John. Bo asks if he might dance with Greta again, and she tells him of course. While they dance, "Hope" plots to make John remember her. Marlena excuses herself and Gina talks with the music man, and then talks with John. John apologizes for staring at her, but her dress is so familiar. "Hope" asks if he remembers it, and John says yes.

"Hope" asks him what he remembers, and John tells her that he remembers a dance with Princess Gina, but he's not sure if it was a real memory, or one conjured up by the power of suggestion. John tells her what exactly he remembered, including feeling that he was with someone very important. "Hope" tells him that she was very important to him.

John asks "Hope" how she could know that? "Hope" says that she was just going by what Greta told her, he was extremely important to her and her mother. John apologizes for snapping at her. Marlena returns and then leaves again to get some champagne.

2/23 Gina is thrilled that John remembers her and calls her Gina. John wonders why he called her Gina. Gina tells him that all the wonderful times they shared will come back to him, and she asks him to tell her that he remembers. John asks her why this is so important to her? She tells him that if they hide from the past, Stefano will control them. She tells him that she desperately wants to know what Stefano stole from them.

Bo and Marlena are at their table and are watching John and "Hope" dance. Greta is uneasy watching them dance, and Stefano is furious. They all sit back down at the table and Lilly Faversham says hello to Stefano. He's surprised to see her here. She tells him that Gina invited him. Stefano says she means Hope. However, Lilly says it's difficult to tell them apart nowadays.

"Hope" pulls Bo onto the dance floor. Stefano asks John if something is wrong. John is remembering his past and tells Stefano that something is wrong. John tells Stefano he's concerned about his aunt and knows he took her to the Cheatin' Heart. Stefano laughs and says that isn't a problem at all.

Bo and "Hope" continue to dance. Greta returns to the table and Stefano says it's a shame Gina isn't here to see this. Greta then says maybe she is, and asks Stefano if her mom has been reborn in Hope? Marlena asks Greta why she'd say that, and Greta says that ever since "Hope" visited her in the hospital, she's reminded her of her mom.

Back on the dance floor, Bo tells "Hope" that Stefano will pay for what he's done to them. Gina tells herself "if only Bo knew the truth." Marlena leaves to freshen up and "Hope" decides to do the same. Bo then tells Stefano that he will pay for robbing him and Hope of a past they should have shared, and tells him that nothing will tear him and Hope apart. Stefano silently laughs at Bo and says he's already done it.

Gina joins John on the terrace. John is upset and wishes he hadn't dug into his past. John asks "Hope" why she's wearing that dress tonight? Gina tells him that she was hoping it would jog his memory. John tells "Hope" he appreciates that, but has decided not to focus on his past. He tells her that Gina is dead and he doesn't want to remember. Gina becomes upset and yells "No, she's not dead!"

John asks her what she means and he says Gina lives on in Greta and Lilly's memory. John says he doesn't care, he doesn't want to risk losing the woman he loves, the woman he's meant to be with. Gina tells herself that is exactly what he's doing. Gina asks him if he's not curious about what he did for Stefano?

John says he thinks he's better off not remembering. John returns to the table and Stefano leaves. John then decides to make an announcement, he announces that he and Marlena will marry in the spring. Bo asks Marlena that when she throws the bouquet to aim it at Hope. Bo wonders where Hope is.

Back on the terrace, Stefano gives Gina a lecture. Gina says she had to come, but Stefano asks if she had to do it dressed as Gina? Gina says that is who she is. Stefano tells her that he needs to know he can trust her and that nobody must know their secret. Bo walks out onto the terrace and hears Stefano telling "Hope" this.

2/24 Out on the terrace, Bo tells Stefano to back away from "Hope." Stefano tells Bo that he and "Hope" were just talking about how lovely she is looking. Bo doesn't buy it and says he heard them talking about a secret. Stefano says he misunderstood, "Hope" was talking about Maison Blanche. Bo doesn't buy that either, so Stefano keeps shoveling lies about how he warned her to keep what she knows about Maison Blanche to herself.

"Hope" tells Bo that it is the truth. Bo wants to talk with "Hope" alone and tells Stefano to take a hike. Stefano leaves and Bo asks "Hope" what is going on between her and Stefano. Bo wants to know why she confided her memories to him, but he doesn't believe her answer and asks what she's hiding. "Hope" is insulted that Bo thinks she's lying to him, so she leaves and goes back inside.

Gina enters and sees John and Marlena dancing and is hurt. Bo follows and Stefano leaves. Gina learns John and Marlena are getting married and tells them "no you can't!" Bo asks why and Gina says that they have to wait for Sami. John says they are. Gina says she's not feeling well, and runs out.

Bo doesn't understand why "Hope" isn't being honest with him, and he tells them about the incident on the terrace. Bo decides to go to Europe on his own. Greta and John both offer to help him, but he declines because Greta has a new life and John has to focus on his family.

Gina goes outside and recalls John telling her that Gina is dead and he doesn't want to search for his past. Gina wishes she could tell him that she is alive and longs to be with him, to love him again. However, she says he will soon remember because her John could never have forgotten what they shared.

A man comes out and flirts with Gina, but she tells him to leave her alone. When he doesn't give up, she twists him and puts him in a choke hold and threatens to break his neck! Gina says that Stefano taught her well, but he won't keep her from reclaiming her life with John and Greta. Stefano is afraid John and Bo will learns she's no longer Hope, which is why he needs to get Gina out of Salem and finish his mission. Rolf asks what that is, but Stefano decides to keep him in the dark for now.

2/25 Gina is in the Horton kitchen. She vows to keep her relationship with John a secret from Stefano. Greta comes in with groceries and wants to talk to Gina about Bo and her love life. Greta doesn't like the way Gina is treating him. Greta wants to know if "Hope" is in love with someone else. Gina swears that Bo is the only man for her. Greta is not convinced. She points to John and Marlena, they’ve overcome obstacles to finally be happy.

Gina turns to Greta and says that John will never be happy with Marlena. It's because of Stefano, he won't let them be happy. Greta knows that Hope has more information about Princess Gina's life than she's admitting. Hope leaves, quoting a proverb that Gina once told Greta. Outside, Hope calls a mysterious person to meet at the Java Cafe. Greta and John, who just came in, go to follow her.

2/26 Stefano vows to make sure Gina stays away from John and Greta.

Gina is walking around Salem Place trying to meet someone. Greta and John are on her tail. Gina wants a smoke and pulls one out, despite Stefano warning her that Hope doesn't smoke. However, she spots John and Greta and quickly puts it away. She confronts them and asks why they are following her? Greta says she was worried about her and decided to ask John to check on her.

John tells "Hope" that he's concerned about her actions, he wants to help her. Gina asks John why can't he remember? John asks what she wants him to remember? She tells him the truth, her life as Father John with Princess Gina. John tells her that he is giving up his search to be happy, but he will always wonder what he did for Stefano and how Princess Gina died. Gina says she can help and suggests they go to Europe.

John says he can't right now, he is planning his wedding and has to be there for Marlena and Sami. Gina apologizes for being selfish and says she just doesn't want him to stop trying to remember his past. She says if they did go to Europe, she is sure he would remember. John doubts that because it didn't happen the last time, but Gina tells him that she can help him now. Gina says she has some errands and tells them both to enjoy their time together. She says she's glad they are close, it's the way it should be because they're all connected by Gina.

Meanwhile, Hope meets with Rolf, who lectures her about the risks she's taking. Gina says she is the best and Stefano needs her, but right now, she needs him.

3/1 Gina is flirting with Rolf, telling him that he's the one person who understands him. Gina tells him that Stefano is being mean and won't let her spend time with Greta or John. Rolf says that is because they are the two people who could blow her cover. Rolf asks Gina if she would ever cross Stefano?

Gina dodges his question and whines about how draining it is to be both Hope and Gina. Gina spots Mickey and Maggie coming, so Rolf takes off. She talks to them about the Fancy Face II, and how things are going with her and Bo. Later, Gina refuses to stop pursuing John until he remembers everything. Rolf goes back to see Gina and commends her on a brilliant performance.

Gina asks Rolf how he changed her and John's identities? Rolf tells her it was extremely complicated. Gina starts telling him how brilliant he is and he hopes Stefano appreciates him. Gina starts telling Rolf that John could be a threat because he was Gina's partner and they can't be so sure that John won't remember the truth. Gina tells him that Marlena is hypnotizing John and Greta is telling him stories about his life with Gina.

Gina tells Rolf that there could be a chance that he turned John back into Father John when he turned Hope into her. Rolf says that is preposterous. Rolf runs into Stefano and tells him that they have a big problem. Gina goes back to the townhouse and starts working on paintings and is sure that she's gotten to Rolf, and soon Father John will be reborn! Gina tells herself that after she finishes these paintings, she, John, and Greta will fly to Europe. However, she has to find a way to get rid of Marlena Evans for good!

Bo can't stop thinking about what is going on between "Hope" and Stefano and vows to get to the truth. Bo goes to see Lilly and tells her that "Hope" isn't sharing her new memories of Gina with him. Lilly says that is odd because Hope has always wanted to remember her life to rebuild her life with him. Bo is hoping she can help him, and asks her to tell him everything about Gina and her connection to DiMera.

Lilly says she doesn't know if she can help, her memory is so poor. Bo asks if she's said anything to her recently, and Lilly remembers Hope telling her about her scary memories of Stefano. Lilly tells Bo that Hope has had terrible memories about being with Stefano and maybe that's why she won't tell him, she's afraid. Bo asks Lilly if she's encouraging Hope to be more like Gina?

Lilly says while she wants her Gina back, she's with the angels. Bo asks Lilly if she knows if Gina spent any other time with a man other than DiMera. Lilly tells her that Gina lost the great love of her life, he left her and her heart never mended. Bo asks Lilly to tell him everything she knows about this man Gina loved.

Later, Bo goes and finds John and Greta and asks them if they might know who the love of Gina's life is that she lost in Europe.

Stefano finally finds Rolf who tells him they have a BIG problem!

3/2 Stefano is furious with Rolf for suggesting they bring back Father John. Rolf says that John is going through hypnosis, but Stefano doesn't think Marlena can bring back John's non-existent memories. Stefano asks Rolf if John's memories are non-existent or not. Rolf says the memories have been erased, but the chip is far less sophisticated than the one in Hope's brain. Rolf says he doesn't believe he'll remember, but he can't be 100% certain.

Stefano asks Rolf if he has any idea how dangerous this could be? Rolf says that is why he thought they should bring Father John back to their side. Stefano says never and asks where he got such an idea. Rolf says that it was Gina's idea. Stefano says Gina has been spending too much time getting to know Greta and John and not enough time working on the paintings. He says once she is done, he will accompany Gina to Europe. Rolf begins to worry about John, but tells himself not to consider crossing Stefano.

3/5 Bo and Greta are talking about "Hope" and how she keeps pushing them away. Bo thinks he knows why "Hope" isn't herself these days. Greta asks why and Bo says that he thinks "Hope" might have remembered something about her relationship with DiMera, how it might have been more than just business. He suggests that is why she doesn't want to go to Europe. However, Greta says that she does. Greta tells Bo that she might know who the great love of Gina's life might be. Bo asks who? Greta tells Bo that "Hope" wants to help John remember his past and suggested they go to Europe together.

Greta says that the only man her mom was involved with in any way was Father John. Bo tells Greta that John was a priest, and he wasn't in Europe while Hope was Gina. Greta says that she thinks Hope loved him while she was Gina, Stefano could have erased her memories, but not her love for him. Bo says he would like to think that, but what he's concerned about now is how she feels about him now. Bo fears that Stefano is playing mind games with "Hope." Greta says it scares her too, yet at other times she feels guilty because she feels like she has her mother back again.

Bo asks Greta to tell him again how "Hope" is like her mom. Greta tells him it's her mannerisms, her energy, and then she tells him about the proverb "Hope" used yesterday that was one her mom would say to her. Bo has never heard Hope say the proverb, "Don't scald your tongue with other people's broth."

Gina is drinking and realizes she has to figure another way to trigger John's memory, and she thinks she knows the perfect way, Marlena! Gina vows to trigger John's memory and make him hers, always, and she won't let anyone take him from her again!

Gina goes downstairs and hears Bo and Greta talking about her and realizes she has to relieve their suspicions of her. Gina goes out and flirts with Bo and tells him that their son has a soccer game and they should both be there for him today. Bo is happy to see her in a better mood today. Gina invites Greta to the soccer game as well, but she says she has other things to do.

Greta leaves and Gina starts talking about how great Greta is doing, her emotional scars are starting to heal. Bo tells her that she has some emotional scars that need to heal too. Gina tells Bo that she's sorry she can't give him what he wants right now, but she's trying. She tells Bo that she's very anxious to talk to Marlena about things. Gina tells Bo that she has a few errands to run before the soccer game and rushes off.

DVD #37B Bo looks through a photo album and wonders what has turned "Hope" against him. Greta returns and tells Bo that "Hope" seemed more like her old self. Bo said she did, until he put his arms around her. Bo says Hope is hiding something and won't talk to him about it, so he'll have to find out what on his own.

Gina goes to the penthouse to meet with Marlena and John excuses himself so "Hope" and Marlena can talk. Marlena leaves to get them some tea and Gina stares and John and tells him that she was thinking about their dance. Gina tells him that she wishes he could open the doors to his past. John says he is giving up the search for his past because he thinks it is best. Gina hugs John and begs him not to give up his search, do it for her. Marlena walks into the room and sees John in "Hope's" arms.

3/8 At the Horton House, Greta and Bo make a pact to go to Europe together to learn the truth about both Gina and Hope. Bo knows "Hope" is keeping secrets from him and wants to know what she's hiding. Greta asks Bo where they start and Bo fills Greta in on Gina's last days on the island of Capri. Greta says that her mother loved Capri, so they decide to start there. Bo says that aside from learning Hope's connection to DiMera, he wants to know who the great love of Gina's life was.

At the penthouse, John pulls out of Gina's arms and asks "Hope" why she wants him to keep searching for his past? "Hope" says it is because his past is tied to hers. John tells her that she should be turning to Bo and if she won't talk to him, talk to Marlena.

John leaves and Marlena confronts "Hope" and tells her that she thinks she knows exactly what is going on with her. "Hope" asks what she means and Marlena tells her that she thinks she's pushing Bo away to protect herself. "Hope" says maybe she's right, she wishes Bo wouldn't pressure her so much.

Marlena thought she wanted a future with Bo, but "Hope" says she wants a future with the man she loves. "Hope" asks Marlena how she is to get over the fact that he's been with another woman, that he fathered her child. Marlena understands, but says that Bo wants to marry her now, but she keeps putting up walls.

"Hope" says she wants to marry Bo, but couldn't bear the heartbreak if she was torn apart from Bo again. Marlena tells her that every decision in life involves a risk. Marlena tells her if she doesn't take a chance with Bo, she'll lose him.

Hope snaps back at Marlena and accuses her of not wanting John to search for his past. Marlena says that is not true, she will support John's decision. Marlena says she doesn't understand why what John does matters to her, it doesn't effect her life. "Hope" responds with "the hell it doesn't!" Marlena asks "Hope" why John is suddenly so important to her? "Hope" says that John is the only one who understands what she's going through, what it's like to feel lost and empty. Marlena tells her that John has a very full and happy life.

Marlena returns to the subject of Bo and asks "Hope" if she loves Bo anymore? "Hope" says she loves him with all her heart, but she can't get by all the times her rejected her for Billie. Marlena tells her what is important is the future, the past is dead and buried. "Hope" shouts "no your wrong!"

"Hope" tells Marlena that she's being very selfish and insist John search for his past. She tells her that John could have a wife and a child, there could be a woman waiting for John to return to her, waiting to be reunited with the man that she loves.

John runs into Bo and Greta and learns that they are planning a trip to Naples. Bo says he was going to get them some tickets, but John wants them to take his jet. John tells Bo that "Hope" stopped by to see Marlena and they are together right now. John tells Bo that "Hope" wants him to go to Europe. Bo is troubled and doesn't understand why "Hope" is being so insensitive lately. Bo tells John that he still believes DiMera has changed "Hope" somehow, he thinks he's playing mind games with her.

Lily runs into Bo, John, and Greta, and suggests to Greta that they go shopping. Greta says she could go shopping with her for awhile, and the two take off. John is troubled by Lily and tells Bo that he is beginning to wonder if he and Gina were more than good friends. Bo asks what would make him think that?

John tells Bo to forget it, he was a priest and wouldn't break those vows. Bo and John are at the Java Cafe and Bo thinks Lily knows more than she's telling them. Bo says once he's in Europe he'll find out if there are any skeleton's in her closet.

3/10 John, Greta, and Bo show up and Bo asks how things went with "Hope." Marlena tells them that she talked with her, but the "Hope" she talked to isn't the "Hope" she knows. Bo asks how she was different and Marlena says that she was very guarded and became angry and emotional about John. Marlena says "Hope" begged her not to stand in the way of John discovering his past.

Marlena tells John that "Hope" is obsessed with him. John asks why? Marlena says that she suggested something that hadn't occurred to her, there might be a woman in his past waiting for him to return. John tells him that can't be, he was a priest. However, Bo says that DiMera could have been controlling him, so he could have been involved with someone else. John says even if he was, Gina (interesting, they only mentioned a woman, not GINA) is dead so it doesn't matter.

However, Greta says that she thinks her mother is alive in Hope. Bo wonders if the car accident could have something to do with this, but Marlena says a concussion can't change behavior. Bo says okay, but they all know DiMera could. Bo says that they have to find out what the real Gina did that was so important that he needed Hope to continue her work. Bo tells them that he and Greta are leaving for Europe tonight and it's best they not tell "Hope."

Bo goes to the boat and fantasizes about proposing to Hope and her accepting. He says that he hasn't given up on them yet. Greta shows up to see Bo, who is almost finished packing for their trip. Bo vows to find out what has happened to "Hope."

Gina wonders if she went too far with Marlena, but then says she didn't because John was hers long before Stefano and Marlena stole him away. Gina refuses to let the saintly Dr. Evans stand in the way of what is hers. Gina wonders what she'll do with Marlena, and luckily she knows the person who can help her out.

Gina goes to see Lilly, but Lucille says Ms. Faversham has just returned for a nap. Gina demands Lucille fetch Ms. Faversham like a good little servant, NOW! Lucille goes to get Lilly. Lilly comes out to see Gina and Gina gives Lucille some money and suggest she go to the hotel lounge. Lilly is glad to see Gina and tells her that she spent time with Greta earlier. Lilly says that Greta is the image of Princess Gina. Lilly sees an odd look on Gina's face and asks if something is wrong?

Gina says no, for the first time in a long time things are almost like they should be. Gina tells Lilly that she's back, Gina's back! Lilly is so thrilled and says her prayers have been answered. Lilly tells Gina how Bo was here asking questions and how she told him she was in love with someone while she was Gina. Gina tells Lilly that she can't tell Bo this, but she is in love with another man. Gina tells her that she needs to bring her lost love back into her life. Lilly feels bad for her and says she will keep their secret. Gina tells Lilly that she is here to stay and will reclaim what she lost.

3/15 Lilly and Gina toast to the return of Princess Gina. Gina asks if Lilly can keep this a secret and she says of course. Gina tells Lilly that she needs to ask a favor from her, and she'll need her help to which Lilly agrees. Gina tells her she just wants to act like Gina when she's with her. Lilly tells her that she'd be disappointed if she didn't!

Gina then tells Lilly that she knows who her heart belongs to, it's not Bo, and she's determined to get him back. Lilly asks her who her one true love is Gina doesn't tell her, she just says that there is another woman in his life. Lilly tells her that no woman can compete with her. Gina says that she was devastated when she lost him the first time, and she won't lose him again. Gina says with her help she knows she will be reunited with her lost love, and if anyone gets in her way they will be sorry.

3/17 Gina sneaks out of the Horton House to have a smoke. She says she hates pretending to be someone she's not. Shawn D catches his mom as she finishes smoking and she uses some breath-spray to cover up. She then plays the good mommy to Shawn D. Shawn D tells his mom that he wants to go to boarding school, but dad said no. Shawn D says he was hoping she would be on her side because she went to boarding school at his age.

Gina tells Shawn D that he'll have to speak to his dad first, but secretly she loves the idea of getting rid of him. Gina asks where his dad is? Shawn D tells her that he and Greta left the country. Shawn D doesn't understand why he didn't tell her and Gina says he must not have been able to find her.

Shawn D also says he knows there are problems between her and his dad and he thinks his dad went alone because she turned down his marriage proposal. Gina says that she needs to find out about her past before she can make a commitment. Shawn D says that is what his dad is trying to do now! Gina snaps and tells Shawn D. "Who the hell asked him to!" Shawn D says whatever and leaves.

Bo and Greta are on John's plane flying to Capri. Bo tells Greta that they aren't returning to Salem until he gets the information he needs to reunite his family. Greta mentions her theory about John and Gina being more than friends, but Bo refuses to believe that John betrayed his vows. Greta tells him he would if Stefano was in control. Bo agrees and is troubled by what Stefano could have made Hope do, could she have killed for him? Greta tells him no way!

Greta refuses to believe the kind man who took care of her wood have Hope kill anyone, but Bo says that is Stefano's game. Bo tells Greta that he will make sure Stefano goes to jail for the rest of his life for what he's done to his family. Greta asks if this has anything to do with a possible relationship between Stefano and Hope? Bo says he will no longer hide from the truth, he will learn everything.

They arrive at the hotel in Capri and Greta says the hotel is exactly like her mother described it. When they go to check in, the man at the counter is stunned when Greta tells him her last name, Von Amberg. The man, Mario, says he knew Princess Gina and is delighted to learn that Greta is her daughter.

3/18 "Hope" tells John she thinks there's a possibility he was never a priest, but he refuses to believe it. Later, "Hope" pushes John to delve into his past because if he doesn't, he'll never know the truth as to his relationship with Gina. John, suspicious, can't help but wonder if "Hope" is keeping something from him.

Bo and Greta are eager to find out information about Princess Gina's stays at the Capri hotel, but they run into some roadblocks. Bo loses his temper when the hotel manager says he cannot give out detailed information regarding former guests. Greta calmly tells the manager that she is Princess Gina's daughter and she would appreciate some cooperation. He's surprised to hear that Gina is dead.

3/22 Stefano is livid because he can't find Gina anywhere. Stefano says that Gina needs to be reminded why he allowed her to return. Rolf says when they transferred Gina's memories to Hope, any secrets the real Gina had have been transferred to Hope. Flashback to Dr. Rolf transferring Gina's memories to Hope in some Frankenstein like contraption.

Back to present, Stefano wonders what secrets Gina gave Hope. Rolf says that Gina was never the same from the time that he brought John to Maison Blanche, that's why he had to make a replacement of her. Stefano says that when John left Europe, Gina lost her confidence and became difficult.

Hope was much more confident than the original Gina, but Rolf says the new Gina has reconnected with John and Greta now. Stefano says that he can't let them find out the truth, “Hope” can never confide in Greta and John. Rolf chuckles and says that the closest John got was to hearing her confession. Stefano then reveals a huge secret, John Black was never a priest!

Gina tells herself that she's finally getting somewhere with John. John comes downstairs after tucking Belle in, she had a nightmare. Once again, Gina tells John that he has to deal with his past for his kids sake. Still, John doesn't want to jeopardize his future with Marlena. John turns the table on her and asks why she pushed Bo away from her when he wanted to help her? Gina says that it is not his search, it is theirs and they need to find out about their past together! John says they do not share the same past.

Gina then has a flashback of herself and John running from the cops and John promising Gina that he'd always be there for her. John encourages "Hope" to go to Europe, but Gina says she wants to stay here and reclaim the life she once had when Stefano turned her back. John asks "Hope" what she means?

She says she meant when Stefano turned her from Gina to Hope, she lost so many memories. She says that is why it's so important they find what happened to them during their missing years. Gina tells John that she thinks there was another man in her life while she was Gina, maybe she has another family. She tells John that she only lost four years, he lost more. Again, John says he was a priest, there was no woman in his life.

Gina tells John that he was under Stefano's control and he erased all his memories of being Father John. She tells him that he could have left behind a heart broken family in Europe. John then blurts out "like little Greta and Gina." Gina tells John that Gina cared for him deeply and was heartbroken when she lost him. She tells John that he was a man, he had to have felt something for Gina.

John admits to feeling something and he tells Gina about his hypnosis session and how he felt a warm connection to Gina. Gina says she felt it too. John lets out an "Ohhhh myyyy Godddd" John asks her how much she remembers about Gina. Gina says she knows a lot, but someone is standing in her way. John thinks it is Stefano, but it's really Marlena. John becomes upset and says that Stefano has made them into freaks. Gina says they are not freaks!

John apologizes and hugs her, he tells her that he knows exactly what she's feeling. Gina leans back and looks into John's eyes as if she was about to kiss him. Gina tells John that even if they were under Stefano's control, they may have realized Stefano was their enemy and joined forces to save each other. John strokes Gina's hair as Marlena walks in on them.

In Capri, the manager suggests Bo and Greta try another hotel, but they refuse. Bo once again ask the manager if Stefano stayed in this hotel with Gina, but the manager refuses to divulge records. A fed up Bo makes this a police investigation and demands he hand over the records. The manager still refuses. Greta tries to reason with the manager, but it does no good. Bo is positive that Stefano has paid the man off. Bo and Greta take a room in the hotel and Greta is moved to tears when she feels her mother's presence in the room.

Bo tells Greta that Princess Gina would have been proud of the way she turned out. Bo apologizes for being insensitive to her feelings. Greta finds some candy in the room and remembers how her mom would bring this candy back whenever she stayed here and she and Father John would divide the candy up.

The bellboy brings up their bags and Greta asks him to please tell her about her mom. The bellboy tells Greta that her mother would stay in this room for days on end, painting out on the balcony. The mysterious part was that she never showed her paintings to anyone. Greta asks where her mom went to relax and the man says she used to hang out at a place where poor young artists hung out. Bo thanks him and then makes plans to have dinner at Gina's hangout.

3/23 Marlena walks in as John is holding “Hope” in his arms and tenderly stroking her hair. Marlena is not pleased and slams the door to grab their attention. John asks how long she's been standing there? Marlena says long enough to wonder what they have been doing? Marlena asks if she is interrupting?

"Hope" says no and says she came to apologize for the things she said earlier, including Sami. Marlena cries that Sami is going to death row tomorrow. John comforts Marlena, which upsets Gina. Gina decides to leave, but not before getting a hug from John.

Rolf can't believe what Stefano has told him, John was never a priest. Stefano says that John was never ordained, he was under his control from the very beginning! Stefano says that a man of God would never do the things he ordered John to do. Stefano says that John was one of his best operatives before Princess Gina. He was cold blooded, ruthless, and completely without remorse.

Stefano tells Rolf that he kidnapped a very young Forrest and he sent him to the seminary. Stefano says John and Gina were very well aware John was not a priest, that is was part of their cover. However, John must never know this. Stefano chuckles that not even Gina knew what John was capable of and she would have been shocked if she had seen him in action. Rolf says he did John a favor by erasing his memory.

Stefano says there are times he misses the old John. Stefano says that Gina must finish the paintings and then he'll send her back to Europe. Rolf comments about the crude chip in John's brain, and how Gina may slip up and drop hints to John about their past.

Gina shows up at this point and hears Stefano's fears about her betraying him. Gina goes to see "Steffie" and acts very sweet and charming with him. Gina tells Steffie that she wants to go back to Europe and have fun. Stefano says she can have that life back, once she finishes the paintings. Gina then agrees to paint. Stefano asks to be brought up to date with Bo's doing.

Gina says that Bo went to Europe to investigate her past, but she doesn't think he'll find anything because Interpol and the ISA never caught her. Stefano says they could research her past with Father John. Gina says that would be a dead end, but Steffie isn't so sure. He asks her if she is keeping something from him. Gina tells him to relax, she'd never keep anything from him.

Gina and Stefano then have a flashback of meeting at Gina's hangout to do business. Stefano thinks it's a shame that she has to stay in the hotel on her own. Stefano asks when she will return to Maison Blanche? Gina says perhaps after she pays a visit to Lilly Faversham.

When Stefano leaves Gina, some man almost kills Stefano, but Gina saved him. Gina tells Stefano to please stop checking up on her all the time. Stefano leaves her to paint, but warns her to stay away from John. Gina says it would be easier not to breath. Gina vows to get John back, and to never lose him again.

Bo and Greta go to Greta's hangout, but Greta can't believe her mom hung out here or was a painter. Bo and Greta take some seats and order some food. Bo then asks the owner about Princess Gina, and he becomes very defensive. Greta explains their predicament. The man says he saw Gina maybe five, ten years ago. When Bo shows him the picture of Stefano, the man says he's never seen him. Bo, however, knows better.

The man then tells someone else that Bo and Greta are asking too many questions and need to be gotten rid of. As they eat, some poet walks by their table saying something about Princess Gina. Bo follows the man outside and is beaten up by two thugs.

Back inside, two men make advances on Greta, but Bo enters and decks them. She asks what happened to him and he tells her he's fine, and then they leave. Bo tells Greta that they have been given a warning, and now he's more determined than ever to get to the truth.

3/24 Greta puts an ice pack on Bo's beaten-up face. Bo tells Greta that uncovering her mom's past will be more difficult than he thought. "Father" John calls Greta to see if they've made any progress with their investigation. Greta tells John what little they have found out, which is her mom spent a lot of time painting on the balcony.

She also tells John about the restaurant and Bo's run in with thugs. She then tells John about the hotel and asks him if he remembers the candy? John says no, and asks if anyone knows if Gina traveled with a priest. Greta says she doesn't know, this hotel doesn't like giving information away.

Later, John remembers dancing with Gina. He wonders what it all means. John is confused as numerous thoughts and memories plague him. He realizes that Hope is right, that he and Gina did have a connection, a bond. He doesn’t understand how that was possible since he was a priest.

Greta decides to check out leads on John. Bo is puzzled by why Gina lead such a secret life, and what happened to her art work? Greta thinks she knows a way and calls the local art gallery. Unfortunately, the gallery has no records of her. Bo says he knows someone who might know, "Hope." Bo says that "Hope" also has the ability to sketch, which she developed a year ago. Bo hopes that he just doesn't regret this. Greta excuses herself so Bo can have some privacy.

"Hope" tells Shawn D that she made some calls and he can start classes at a private school on Monday. Shawn D thanks his mom, but Alice is suspicious. "Hope" says she will miss him terribly, but she wants the best for him. Shawn D thanks her, apologizes for their fight earlier, and goes off to pack. Alice can't believe she is sending her son off to school as if it was no big deal.

She asks "Hope" if she's discussed this with Bo? "Hope" says she has, but Bo doesn't approve. "Hope" says it's what the kid, corrects herself to say what Shawn D wants, but Alice knows better. She tells her to at least wait till Bo comes back. "Hope" says who knows when he'll be back, he went off on that foolish trip. Alice tells her that she should have gone with him, but he's probably tired of being turned down by her.

"Hope" tries to leave, but Alice asks what is happening to her, she doesn't even know her anymore. "Hope" tries to change the subject. "Hope" says everything will be just fine and she has things to do before going to the airport. Alice asks her if she's going to call Bo and tell him about Shawn D, but "Hope" says she doesn't even know where he is.

Gina goes to the townhouse, smokes, and then decides to paint. She says the sooner she is done, the sooner she can reunite with John and Greta in Europe. She says that everything is finally coming together. Gina gets a call from Bo, which surprises her. She tells Bo that he's wasting his time, but Bo says that is not the case, he already knows that Gina was an accomplished artist.

3/25 Hope hears that Greta and Bo are at the Capri Hotel where Gina used to stay and she begins to panic. Remembering Stefano gave her cash on which to live, she asks Bo to stop his investigation and come home because she misses him. Greta is shocked when she spots one of her mother's paintings on the walls of the hotel lobby. John has a flashback of Stefano.

3/26 Bo wonders if it was Princess Gina or Hope as Gina who signed the painting in the hotel lobby. They check for a date, but come up with nothing. The manager moves up and Bo presses him for information regarding the painting. The manager confirms that Gina did paint it, but he doesn't know when. Greta tries her hand at getting information from the manager. It's obvious he is very taken with her and it looks like he might open up.

Gina is a nervous wreck after her phone call with Bo. She shudders to think about what information Greta has discovered regarding Princess Gina. Gina arrives at the DiMera mansion and chooses not to tell Stefano about her upsetting call with Bo. Instead, Gina says she isn't able to finish the paintings. Stefano, angry, says they must be finished before Vivian dies. Gina, shocked by the news of Vivian's declining health, promises Stefano she'll complete the paintings as soon as she gets back from Europe.

3/29 John asks "Hope" why she is here with Stefano? "Hope" claims she is here to check on Vivian. John asks her since when did she care about his aunt? "Hope" tells John that she cares about him as a friend and she asks Stefano if anything can be done. Stefano says he doesn't know, but will do everything in his power to find a cure.

Stefano leaves to check on Vivian and John demands to know why she is really here? "Hope" says she'll check in with him later and leaves. John follows her and tells her that they need to talk. "Hope" tells John that the real reason she came was to make sure Stefano doesn't learn about Bo and Greta's trip to Europe.

"Hope" asks John to call Bo and ask him to come back because she fears Bo and Greta are in danger. They then start talking about how John remembers nothing from the time he was taken from the Alamains until he became a priest. "Hope" asks John how he can be so sure he was a priest? John says he's positive he was a priest, that's one of the few things he's certain about.

Gina has a memory of her and Father John pulling off the ultimate con in Capri. John tells her that what they do in their spare time, DiMera must never know. John wrips off his beard and Gina tells him that he has to give Steffie credit for the idea of playing a priest as a cover.

John laughs and says that the most interesting aspect, is that he really went through the seminary. John asks Gina if she knows how he feels about her? She says she has first hand knowledge. She makes him promise never to let Stefano know how they feel about one another. John promises her that he'll never leave her.

The two then kiss. Gina snaps back to the present to find John rambling about Stefano. Gina tells herself "if only she could get John to remember." John asks "Hope" why she is so upset? She tells him it's not easy to explain, but John tells her to try. "Hope" claims she has to go now and John tells her that if she needs him, she's got a friend. Gina runs off.

Bo is on the phone, speaking in Italian, and Greta laughs at his accent. Bo was talking to his friend in Rome, who is going to help them. Inspector Difloria shows up and asks Bo what crime he needs a search order for? Bo says there isn't a crime, so the inspector tells Bo good day and turns to leave. Bo stops him and tells him that this is about Princess Gina, and introduces Greta. The officer remembers Gina because she donated large sums of money at police charity balls.

Bo tells him about her death and how they are trying to find out what really happened to her. Still, the Inspector says he can't give a warrant without a crime. Bo explains him that a crime was committed, and tells him about Stefano and Hope. The inspector recognizes Stefano's photo, and knows who he is. The inspector tells Bo that he will call his superiors. Greta then tells Bo that she is afraid of what she might find out, that Father John betrayed his vows with her mother.

4/1 On the flight to Capri, Gina is recalling all the times she spent at the hotel with John. She also thinks back and remembers removing a painting, knocking a man out and stealing his boat.

Greta and Bo have fun at a water fountain and eating ices. Afterwards, she makes a wish. Bo's pleased to learn that a search warrant has been issued for the hotel.

4/2 Hope dons a disguise and enters the Capri hotel where she quickly spots Bo. She manages to talk her way into the manager's office and then seals the lock so that a key won't open the door. She then remembers the computer password from her days as Gina and changes various files and dates from Gina's records at the hotel. Hope hides on the balcony when Bo forces his way into the room.

Marlena hypnotizes John again. While under, he reveals to Marlena the many memories he has including one in which he's pouring champagne with Gina. She is wearing slinky nightgown and he's not dressed as a priest. He snaps out of the hypnotic trance when the phone rings.

4/5 Gina is out on the hotel ledge while Bo and the manager pull up the records. Bo searches through them. Gina hopes she got rid of all the files and listens in with a spy device to hear what is going on inside. Greta arrives and watches as Bo searches through the records.

Meanwhile, Gina uses a rope to try to hop to the next building, but Bo and Greta hear something come from outside the window. However, Bo doesn't catch her. Gina continues to listen in and she overhears Bo say that Hope stayed here as Gina, but there are no records of the real Gina or John staying there.

Bo hopes that by showing these records to Hope, Hope will want to return with him to investigate further. Gina says "don't count on it Bo!" Suddenly, Gina drops off the ledge and clings for life when one of the hotel guests opens the window to look at the view. Gina escapes and believes Bo and Greta have gone back to Salem, so she decides to have some fun.

Gina goes to the El Gratto and reunites with Aldo and her old friends. Aldo tells Gina about the strangers asking questions, but Gina tells him that they have left Capri. Gina and Aldo sit down and remember old times. He asks her where she has been? Gina says she went away for awhile, but now she is back for good. Later, Aldo and Gina dance.

Back at the hotel, Bo learns that he can't take John's plane back to Salem till tomorrow. Greta asks Bo to search for John in the hotel records, but John isn't there. Bo then decides to search for Alamain, but it's a no go. They then decide to go back to the El Gratto and are about to walk in on Aldo and Gina dancing.

4/6 Aldo and Gina are dancing when Bo and Greta walk in. Bo and Greta are in disguise. Everyone is watching Gina and Aldo, so Bo and Greta decide to check it out. One of Aldo's thugs recognizes the disguised ones. The lights suddenly go out and Gina is grabbed!

Aldo helps Gina escape and two of his thugs find her sketch pad, which has a drawing of Greta in it. Outside, Aldo gives Gina a key, but she says she can't do "it." Aldo realizes that Gina left an earring behind, and Gina says she has to find it! Gina looks in the door and is angry that Bo brought Greta here. She decides to do something about Bo.

Aldo looks for Gina's earring. Bo buys the sketch of Greta from a man who claims he drew it. Greta and Bo try to order some dinner, but Aldo says they are closed. Bo then asks Aldo who was dancing. Aldo says it was him, and then walks off. Greta suggests they leave, but Bo wants to look around. Bo finds Gina's earring and thinks whoever was dancing with Aldo was wearing the earring, which he tells Greta is exactly like some of Hope's. Greta says that this is just a normal, trendy, earring. Bo and Greta decide to leave, and Aldo pockets the earring, which they left behind.

4/7 Greta dreams that it was her mom dancing at the El Gratto last night. Bo tells her that is impossible, but Greta can't help but wonder who they were trying to hide. Bo tells Greta that he will figure everything out, even if he has to do it on his own. Greta tells Bo that she isn't giving up on her search, but Bo thinks it's getting too dangerous for her. Greta insists that she can take care of herself. Bo eventually agrees to let Greta continue helping him. He tells her the first thing he will do upon arriving in Salem is show her the records. The pilot then informs them of their descent.

Caroline and Alice are talking about Hope's odd behavior. Alice tells Caroline that Hope still feels betrayed and needs time to sort out her feelings. Caroline says that she knows Bo has made mistakes, but isn't Hope making one now? Alice says Bo and Hope will just have to work things out on their own.

Gina goes to see Stefano and tells him that Bo has Greta working with him now. Gina doesn't like Bo getting close to her daughter, but Rolf says technically she's not her daughter. Gina tells Stefano that if Bo and Greta keep searching, they just might put all the pieces together. Stefano asks Gina why she is so worried, did they find anything against her? She says no, but Bo won't give up so easily.

Still, Stefano wonders that there is something she has not told him that is worrying her. Gina says of course not, she's just afraid Greta and Bo might find something. Stefano says that won't happen, besides she herself said she covered her tracks, didn't she? Stefano tells her not to worry, soon everything will be like it once was in Europe. Gina leaves, but tells herself that the life she longs for isn't in Europe, it's with John.

After Gina leaves, Stefano and Rolf talk about John. Rolf says it's to bad John can't come back. Stefano says that will not happen, they had to return John's free will when they made him Roman. Rolf comments "at least we have Gina," and Stefano says yes, and he won't let her go to Bo or anyone else.

Bo arrives home and talks with Alice. He asks if "Hope" is around, but Alice says she hasn't seen "Hope" today. Bo wonders if she could still be sleeping, and decides to surprise her. Bo goes upstairs and notices that "Hope's" bed hasn't been slept in. Later, "Hope" returns home and Bo asks her where the hell has she been? "Hope" asks where the hell has he been?

4/8 Bo and "Hope" are fighting in Gran's living room. Bo, out of concern for Hope, and "Hope" because she just loves to pick fights. Hope lies to Bo that she left a note for him to explain where she was and then arranges for him to find that note on the floor. Gran leaves and "Hope" tries to make nicey-nice with Bo, when he starts in about Stefano. Again, "Hope" defends Stefano, confusing Bo.

He then shows her the printout of the dates that she was in Capri as Gina. He tells Hope that he's going to compare the dates of Gina's visits to the hotel to any criminal activity in the town. "Hope" knows that the dates are all wrong because she changed them in the computer. The two decide to call a truce. Asking where his son is, Bo is furious to learn that Shawn Douglas was sent to boarding school.

4/9 Bo angrily tells Hope that she has no right to send their son to boarding school without first talking to him. She tells him that the Hope he knew is gone and the past doesn't matter to her. Hope continues to defend Stefano, further infuriating Bo. She then packs her bags and leaves. A really mad Bo sweeps the things off Hope's dresser and is rocked to find a photo of Hope sitting on Stefano's lap.

Outside, Hope tells herself that she is relieved to be out of that jury house and once she takes care of Steffie, she'll be free.

Finding his boss talking about the love he has for Gina, Rolf warns Stefano that he better keep a grip on his feelings for this Gina because he was in love with the real princess. Stefano says that this Gina has all the spirit and soul of the real princess Gina. The doorbell rings and it is Gina, saying that she is free.
