Bo & Hope #44 March 20 - June 19, 2000: 8 hour original edit

Inside the turret, Hope heard Bo and Shawn calling to her, and she thought it was a dream. She woke up and called back to them, and they heard her. Bo told her that they would get her out of there. Shawn found the keys hanging on the wall, but there were a lot of them on the key ring, so it took them some time to open the door. They finally got it open and got to Hope.

Back inside, John encountered Bo who had Hope in his arms, and Shawn in the staircase. John said they needed to get out of there, but Hope said someone else was up there. John told Bo to get Hope out, and he'd go up for whoever it was. John went up to the turret and finally saw Stefano on the floor. However, he was shocked when he realized it was Stefano.

Back outside, Bo and Shawn walked out of the castle, and everyone was relieved to see that Bo had Hope in his arms.

3/21 Outside the castle, Bo revived Hope with mouth-to-mouth. Shawn told Marlena the reason John hadn't reemerged with them was because Hope had told them someone else was in the turret. Doug went inside instead, and Shawn slipped away from the others and followed him.

As John looked at Stefano in shock, Stefano said, "It's not over yet." John replied snappily, "Yes, it is." He left Stefano alone in the turret. Stefano tried to drag himself along the floor but stopped when he heard a noise. When he looked up at the ceiling, it was falling down on him.

Doug and Shawn were separated by the smoke, and Doug made his way back outside. He told the others John and Shawn were still inside. Suddenly, John and Shawn appeared, and they were dragging Stefano with them. Bo said to John, "Don't tell me you risked your life for that?"
John replied, "He has answers, and I have questions."
Marlena said, "Don't tell me he was locked up there with Hope."

As soon as John said, "Yes," the castle exploded, causing glass and debris to fly everywhere. John covered Marlena just as Bo covered Hope, and everyone fell to the ground. Once the dust settled, everyone was okay. The firemen and paramedics arrived.

Once Hope was on a stretcher, Marlena checked her vital signs. She told the paramedics Hope had inhaled a lot of smoke and that her abdomen was distended, which might be due to malnutrition. As they were getting ready to go to the hospital, Hope removed her oxygen mask and said, "Wait. Bo, I'm going to have your baby." Standing around her stretcher, Marlena, Shawn, and Bo were confused by Hope's comment. "What? That's not possible," said Bo.

3/22 Shawn and Bo were in with Hope at the hospital, who was stable. She woke up and told Bo that she was afraid she was dreaming. He said he was there and wouldn't leave her again. Hope asked where she was? Bo told her that she was in a hospital in Paris and would be just fine. Hope was reunited with her son, and she was happy to be back with her family. Doug, Julie, and Alice entered to see Hope, and Doug gave her a big hug.

The doctor returned with some test results, and he looked a little grim. Hope panicked and asked if it was their baby. The doctor said that Hope's malnutrition was more serious than they had thought, but there was no indication that the baby was in distress. However, he needed to do more tests. Bo told Hope that they would be right outside, so they left. Bo told Marlena and John that the woman in there was Hope, and she was pregnant.

Marlena told Bo that he had said he and Hope hadn't been close physically. Bo said he was having a hard time dealing with her and another man. Marlena pointed out that she had been living Gina's life, but Bo said that the last time he had seen her, she had remembered everything and hadn't told him she had been with anyone else. Marlena suggested that she had gotten pregnant sometime after he had returned to Salem.

Bo asked why Hope would think it was his baby? Marlena said she had an answer to that question. Marlena suspected that finding out she was pregnant could have caused Hope to lose touch with reality, and believing it was his child could have helped her hang on. Bo said he needed to know who the father was, but Marlena said that if he questioned her right away, she might shut down and repress everything.

Bo went back in to see Hope, and Hope asked Bo what he had meant when he had said it wasn't possible that she was pregnant. Bo said that he just hadn't expected to hear the news. Hope said she was shocked, as well, but was happy since she and the baby were safe. Hope asked Bo if he was happy to be a father again? Bo opened his mouth, but Hope interrupted him and said she knew it was shocking, but her faith in and love for her family had gotten her through the ordeal.

Suddenly, Shawn returned with flowers, chocolates, and a card for the baby. It said, "To the newest Brady from your brother and your dad, we promise to love you just like we love your mom." He had also bought the baby a dookee bear. Hope was positive that the baby would be as loving and kind as its brother and dad. Bo looked troubled, and Hope asked what was wrong?

Bo said they had a lot to talk about. Hope said that she wanted to know what had been happening, but part of her was glad she didn't remember a thing that had occurred over the past year. Bo was shocked to learn that she remembered nothing. Hope said the last thing she remembered was a car accident in Salem and lying in the snow; after that, it was all a blank. She said she remembered being with Kurt for a while and thinking she was his wife.

Bo asked if that was when Kurt and Hope had been in the castle. Hope said no; it was in a small fishing cottage. Hope told Bo all about the cottage and what had happened there. Shawn asked if Kurt had hurt or threatened her. Hope said not while they had been at the cottage, but when she had tried to run away, he had locked her in the turret. She said she hadn't remembered the truth about who she was until she had been locked up. Hope was exhausted, so Bo told her to get some rest. Shawn decided to stay with his mom, and Bo left.

Doug snuck into Stefano's room and confronted him. He called Stefano a sick bastard for what he had done to Doug's daughter. Doug grabbed Stefano's oxygen line and said if Stefano didn't get the oxygen, he would die, and the Bradys and Hortons would finally be safe. He then squeezed the line, which caused Stefano to choke.

However, Doug couldn't go through with it and said that he would get his revenge when Hope used her memories to put him away for life. Doug left, and Stefano told himself that Hope didn't remember being Princess Gina, and she never would, so he would beat him again. Later, Stefano had an out-of-body experience.

Doug ran into Julie, and she realized something was wrong. Doug told her about his visit to see Stefano and how Doug had almost killed him. Julie told Doug to concentrate on Hope and her recovery. She said they could go back to Salem and help her recover and prepare for the baby. Doug said the baby was the only good thing to happen as a result of the nightmare. Julie told him to leave Stefano to the ISA. Hope had to have enough evidence to put Stefano away for life.

Later, Bo told John and Marlena that Hope didn't remember anything of her time as Gina. Bo thought Stefano had wiped out Hope's memory so Gina could go to Salem in her place, and he wished John had let Stefano die. Bo explained how Hope had been rescued from a river, and John reminded him that Gina claimed Hope had jumped off the bridge. Bo refused to believe she would have jumped and thought she had been pushed. He also had an idea as to who the father of Hope's baby was.

3/23 In the Paris hospital, a nurse told Hope she would be moved to a regular room. Shawn was with her, and they happily hugged. Hope told the nurse her son would be going with her. Before they left, she told Shawn she needed to speak to John. Shawn left to find him.

Outside Hope's room, Bo told Marlena and John that he thought Kurt was the father of Hope's baby. He said Kurt had to have taken advantage of her. Hope's doctor approached them and said he wouldn't be certain until they ran some more tests, but he was pretty sure they would reveal Hope to be in her third trimester. Bo was stunned, and John seemed curious. Bo knew the baby couldn't possibly be Kurt's.

Marlena asked who the baby's father could be if it wasn't Kurt. Bo asked John and Marlena not to say anything about him not being the baby's father. He said he had to tell Hope the truth when the time was right, and then together they would tell their families. Marlena and John agreed that was the best solution for the time being. Shawn approached them and told John that Hope had asked to see him.

In her room, Hope explained to her family the last memory she had of Salem was when she had been in the car wreck a year before. She said after that, it was blank until the fisherman rescued her and took her back to his cabin. She told them Kurt had caught up to her there and had claimed to be her husband. She told them she had always felt like Kurt was lying to her, and when she had checked in his wallet, she had discovered he was single. She said that no matter what she said or did, Kurt refused to set her free.

Shawn, John, and Marlena entered Hope's room. John said, "Hope, you wanted to see me?"
"Yes, John. There's something I need to tell you. Something you must know," she said. Hope told John he had done the right thing and thanked him for saving Stefano's life.

When Abe and Lexie entered Hope's room, she was telling everyone that Stefano had saved the lives of her and her baby. She said that the entire time they had been locked up together, Stefano had done everything in his power to keep her and her baby alive. She said he had even been willing to die in the castle fire if it had meant saving her life first.

Lexie thanked Hope for her kind words. She said she wasn't used to anyone saying something nice about her father. Hope said she had meant every word. She said she owed her life to Stefano, and she told John if he should hate anyone, he should hate Kurt because he was the evil one. Everyone was speechless.

The doctor arrived and told everyone Hope needed her rest, so they had to go. Hope asked if Bo could stay. He did, and she asked him to hold her. She said she wanted to wake up in his arms. Bo crawled in the bed to hold Hope. To himself, he wondered, "Oh, Fancy Face, how am I ever going to tell you the truth?"

3/24 Stefano told John that other men could be the father of Hope’s baby. John said that Hope only loved Bo, but Stefano pointed out that Hope hadn't been Hope for over a year. John told Stefano that he loved Marlena, and he suggested Stefano keep his disgusting insinuations to himself. Stefano said, "My, my, my, we aren't the faithful husband we thought we were."

He then asked John how his Hawaiian honeymoon had been? John glared at Stefano, who asked if he didn't remember the honeymoon or if he remembered it too well? John said that Stefano knew "damn well" he had spent his honeymoon lost at sea, but he tried not to remember it. Stefano asked John to tell what he recalled.

John wished he had left Stefano to burn in that castle. Stefano told John that some secrets continued to live on beyond the grave. He also said he had reached a decision that would have profound consequences on Salem. Stefano said that he had decided to live. John told Stefano that he had something important to tell him. John grabbed the plug to Stefano's life support and said nobody was there to stop John from sending Stefano straight to hell! Suddenly, Lexie and Abe heard John scream, "Die, you miserable bastard!" Abe pulled John out of the room.

Marlena found Bo talking with Hope's doctor. He told Bo that Hope was recovering very rapidly because she was happy, stating that happiness was a great healer. Marlena talked with Bo, who was conflicted about whether to tell Hope the truth. Marlena asked Bo how he was going to tell her the truth. Bo didn't know and asked Marlena for suggestions. Marlena was clueless, because the news would shatter Hope.

Marlena told Bo that if he needed to talk to someone and if he couldn't talk to her, she could refer him to someone else. Bo said he didn't want to think about it, but there was someone she had been close to when she had been Gina. Bo said the pictures of her with the guy sickened him. Marlena asked him who it was. Bo told her it was Stefano.

When Bo said he wanted to tear that man apart, Marlena told him that he couldn't do that because he was a better man than Stefano. Marlena said that Stefano had saved Hope's life, but Bo said that made sense if he was the father. Bo said all the evidence against Stefano was gone, and it was almost like he had planned the whole thing.

Marlena doubted that because Stefano had almost died. Marlena then asked Bo if he were to tell Hope that he wasn't the father of her child and Stefano might be, whether Hope would want to keep the baby. Bo told Marlena that Hope loved Shawn and shared a bond with him, but Marlena said Shawn was a child she'd had with the man she loved. Bo said Hope was very happy at that moment, but Marlena said Hope was happy to be alive and to have his love.

Bo knew that Hope wouldn't turn her back on the child, no matter who the father was. Marlena asked Bo how he felt about it. Bo said he'd deal with it, but he hated it and knowing she had slept with someone else. Bo said it wasn't her fault, though, because she hadn't known what she had been doing. However, he was another case; he knew what he had been doing when he had slept with Gina. Marlena told Bo that he couldn't blame himself because Gina had fooled him.

Bo said he'd had his suspicions, but he'd wanted to believe she had been his Hope. He thought that Hope wouldn't be able to forgive him for that, but Marlena was sure their love would get them through it. John showed up and told Bo and Marlena the bad news: Stefano was going to live. He had also gotten a message from Eric and Greta, who were at the police station. They had caught Kurt, and he was in custody. Bo thought that was great news. Perhaps they could get him to rat on Stefano and tell Bo who the father of Hope's baby was.

In Hope's room, Hope woke up, and Shawn was with her. She'd had a wonderful dream and asked where his dad was; she wanted to tell him about it. Doug, Alice, and Julie showed up and told Hope that her test results were good, so she might be released as early as that day. Julie asked Shawn whether he wanted a baby sister or brother. Shawn said either way, he got to boss the kid around. Everyone laughed, but Hope scolded Shawn playfully.

Doug and Julie were taking Alice back to Salem that day, but they promised to stay in Salem for the arrival of their grandchild. When Doug called Hope "princess," Julie suggested he not call her that because it reminded them of bad memories. Hope said not for her; she had no memories of being Gina, and she knew who she was. Hope then said Bo had better make an honest woman of her, she was not having the baby without being married. Alice was sure that was high on his list.

Hope said the one bad thing about her memory lapse was that she did not know where she and Bo had conceived the baby. Later, Hope stunned her family when she asked them what had happened to Gina when she had returned to Salem. She wanted to know how Gina had died. They all told her that Gina had been sick, and Hope should forget it. Hope said Gina had claimed she had been living Hope's life back in Salem, and Hope wanted to know if it was true. She also asked, if it was true, how they could have believed her.

Shawn swore that he had never believed Gina had been Hope, and he had tried to convince the others. Hope apologized to Shawn and said he shouldn't have had to go through that. Shawn said it didn't matter; Gina was gone, and he had his mother back. Hope told them all that the thought of Gina taking over her life just angered her, and she wanted to know how Gina had conned them. Alice said that was not the time to look back; Hope needed to think about the baby. Hope told Alice she was right, but Hope wouldn't forget, and they would talk about it later.

3/27 Hope has been released from the hospital and is with Shawn at the hotel. Shawn tells her that she looks great. Hope thanks him and says that Gran and Julie bought her all of these maternity clothes. Shawn tells her that it isn't just the cloths. Hope tells Shawn that she is so proud of him and he is a blessing. Shawn tells his mom that he swore he'd never take her for granted again, and he won't. Hope asks Shawn why her dad and Gran didn't want her to know what Gina did in Salem, what are they holding back from her?

Shawn tries to change the subject, but Hope won't fall for it. Shawn tells her a lot of bad things happened, and what is important is that everyone is okay. Shawn says once they get back to Salem, they can sit down as a family and talk about it. Hope agrees to drop the subject for now because she has to do what she has to do. Shawn doesn't like what she is about to do, so he insists on going with her. Before she leaves, Hope cuts the blonde streaks out of her hair.

Hope and Shawn go to see Stefano, and Hope asks Lexie and Shawn for a few minutes alone with Stefano. They leave, and Hope keeps her distance from Stefano. She tells Stefano she came here for two reasons. First, she thanks Stefano for saving her and her baby's life, and she is grateful for what he did. Stefano says they helped each other, their struggle to survive was mutual, they were both innocent victims of a mad woman.

Hope thinks it is funny that he used his name and innocent in the same sentence, and she is sure he caused Gina to lose her mind. Stefano tells Hope that he has no idea what happened to that damn Princess to make her go crazy. He asks her what the second reason she came her for was? Hope tells him to stay out of her life, and Salem. She tells him to stay in Paris, he'll have access to an entire content of people to kidnap, brainwash, and steal from. She asks Stefano to promise her that he'll never set foot in Salem again.

Stefano says it didn't take long for the Brady Bunch to poison her mind against him. Hope says she didn't need them to tell her that a leopard can't change its spots. Hope begs Stefano to just stay here in Paris, far far away from her and Bo. She says she is having Bo's baby and is looking forward to a long future with her family. She says she is proud to be bringing another Brady into this world. Stefano asks her if she is sure it is a Brady she is bringing into this world?

Hope replies that Bo is the only man she loves and even if she thought she was someone else, she couldn't make love to anyone else. Stefano tells Hope that he won't be able to honor her request, because he has a child in Salem, and it is as much his home as it is hers. Hope warns him not to push her too hard, because the Bradys will push back! Hope leaves, and Stefano vows that if that child is his, no Brady will raise it. Then Hope tells Shawn that it is time they returned home to Salem.

At the station, Bo tells John that he's going to force Kurt to tell him everything he knows about Hope and this baby. Bo and John accompany an officer to see Kurt. Kurt is in a straight jacket, and John and Bo are left alone in a room with him. Kurt is angry with Bo for killing Gina, but John says that he is the one who shot his pretty princess through the face, and he'll do the same to him unless he tells him what he wants to know! Kurt proceeds to spit in John's face.

Bo and John play a little game, and Bo warns John to stay away from Kurt! John stands in the corner and Bo talks with Kurt. Bo tells Kurt that if he talks to them and answers their questions, he'll get him out of the straight jacket. Kurt asks what he wants to know? Bo questions Kurt about Hope, and if he is the father of her child. Kurt says he won't pin this one on her, he never touched that woman! Kurt says that everything that happened to Gina was Hope's fault, and it should have been Hope in that casket.

Bo then asks Kurt about Stefano DiMera. He asks what type of relationship Gina had with DiMera? Kurt says all he knows is that they were very close at one time. However, he says he only met DiMera last year. They ask Kurt how he was paid to take care of the castle? He says a friend of the princess hired him, and the money came from the princesses estate. They don't believe him and John accuses him of working for DiMera. Bo "throws" John out after he gets forceful with Kurt.

Bo tells Kurt that the cops have a huge list of crimes against him, but if he helps him out, he can make sure they go light on her. Kurt says he didn't kidnap Stefano and Hope, Gina did, he only took orders from her. Bo asks how he got involved with Gina? Kurt says that Gina's friend hired him when he was 18 to take care of her because she was mad and needed to be locked up for her own safety. However, last year she seemed to be sane again, so he decided to give her a chance to regain her life. He says he knew she'd come back to him, just not in a coffin.

Kurt begins to cry and says he should have kept her with him. Bo tells him that he's got that right. Bo leaves, and tells John and the French cop that he'll be able to lock Kurt up and throw away the key. Kurt is then transferred to a psychiatric hospital. Bo tells John that Kurt only confirmed everything he already told them, and that he wasn't the father of Kurt's child. Bo says the only way to bury DiMera is for Hope to remember her time as Gina, and if that happens, she'll remember who the father of her baby is.

3/28 On John's jet, Hope, Bo, Shawn, John and Marlena were on their way home to Salem. Shawn told the others he was going to go into the cockpit to see if he could get the pilot's to explain some things to him about the instrument panel. The plane hit a little bit of turbulence and John became very tense. He said he was going to see what was going on and that he'd fly this thing home if he had to.

The pilot came over the loud speaker and said he realized everyone was tense because of their earlier flight to Paris but explained everything was under control. John returned to the passenger car. He and Bo discussed who could possibly be the father of Hope's baby. Bo wondered if it was Stefano or one of Princess Gina's other suitors. Bo said that with the information they got from Hope's doctor it seems the baby was conceived last summer. "Right around the time you got married.” Bo said. John listened silently.

Hope asked Marlena what the pilot had meant about their flight to Paris. Marlena told her it had just been a bumpy ride, no big deal. Marlena asked Hope why she went to see Stefano before they left Paris? Hope explained she went to thank Stefano for saving her life and said she asked him to never return to Salem. "Of course he refused.” Hope said.

"How did I know he would?" Marlena asked. Hope explained to Marlena how Stefano had been so patient and caring toward her and the baby. "Almost as if it were his own.” Hope said. Marlena listened quietly and Hope told her that when she went to see Stefano in the hospital he had asked her if she was sure the baby was Bo's.

"Like I'd sleep with anyone other than Bo.“ Hope said. While they were talking, Hope spotted Marlena's wedding ring. She observed, "You and John got married."
"Yes. Last summer." Marlena replied. Hope congratulated her and said she wished she could have been there to see it.
"You were." Marlena said. Hope was stunned. Hope's baby began to move and she asked Bo to come over and feel the baby kick. She noticed he wasn't enthusiastic and called him on it. He told her he was very happy and the baby is all he thinks about. She kissed him. She asked him to tell her about the night the baby was conceived. He told her he couldn't remember.

In the cockpit, Shawn put on a CD with some romantic music. He went to watch his parents dance. When Hope spotted him he said he would leave them alone. "No way!" said Hope. She told him and Bo how happy she was to have her family back. The trio shared a group hug.

Marlena commented to John about how Hope has really bonded with her baby and seemed very happy. John said he wanted everyone to have the happiness they deserve. Marlena said until the baby's paternity is solved it will be hard for them to achieve true happiness.

3/29 Grandpa Shawn and Caroline throw a welcome home party for Hope at the Brady pub. She graciously thanks everyone for their prayers and love. She can't wait to get back to a normal life with Shawn, Bo, and the little one that's on the way. Marlena asides to Bo, urges him to make his decision quickly. Hope deserves to know the truth...that Bo isn't the baby's father.

3/30 Rolf came out of hiding very flustered and wondered aloud how Stefano could have known he was there. He tried to act like he was happy to see Stefano. Stefano grabbed Rolf by his tie and began to choke him. Stefano reminded Rolf to never think he could keep secrets from him. "I can't breathe" said Rolf. Stefano let him go and said he knew Rolf was behind everything that happened on John's plane including the bomb in Gina's coffin.

"My question is...what could you possibly gain by doing those things?" Rolf admitted to the misdeeds and said he did them because the chip had come out of John's brain and he was worried John would remember his past with Stefano. Stefano said he wasn't thinking about that right now. He said he was more concerned with whether or not John remembered sleeping with Hope on the submarine. Stefano said his main concern was finding out if he will be a father again. "Possibly to another son" he said. She immediately did.

3/31 John and Marlena and Bo and Hope go out to Tuscany for dinner. They run into Maggie and think she and Mickey have reservations, so they ask if they can sit with them because they don't have any. Maggie tells them that she isn't here to dine, she bought the restaurant and is working! Maggie shows them to a table, and Hope begins asking about what happened this past year when she was Gina, what did she do?

John tells Hope that Vivian left town with Ivan, and Bo tells her that Ivan won the lottery, 40 million dollars. Hope says that is nice, but she wants to know what she did while she was Princess Gina? Everyone falls silent, and she asks why no one wants to talk about her past? She asks if she did something terrible? Marlena tells her no, but she thinks she needs time to heal both physically and emotionally first.

John tells Hope to listen to Marlena because she only has her well being at heart. Hope thanks them for their concern, but she can't shake this feeling that something awful happened while she was under Stefano's influence. Bo tells her not to think the worst, but Hope can see it in their eyes that something happened, and she wants to know what that is.

Maggie shows up just in time with drinks and deserts, but Hope refuses to eat because she's too upset and worried. She begs them all to tell her the truth. Bo tells her they will tell her, but now isn't the time, she needs more time to recover. He promises to tell her everything when the time is right. Hope asks when exactly will that be? Hope agrees, but wants to ask John a question.

Hope asks John if he can honestly forget what happened when he was under Stefano's control? If someone he knew had the answers, would he really mind being in the dark? John tells Hope that she is right, he knows what it is like to want to know what he might have done. John says he and Marlena struggled with that for some time, but they decided to forget the past and concentrate on the present and the future.

Hope says he makes it sound so simple, but John says it isn't simple. John says he has to accept that he is not the man he once was, and he tells Hope to forget about DiMera and just concentrate on Bo right now. He tells her that Marlena's love saved him, and Bo's can save her if she lets it. Hope agrees to back off, for tonight, and concentrate being with Bo, the man she loves and the father of their children. Marlena and John take to the dance floor, and John hopes Hope and Bo will be able to deal with the truth. Hope tells Bo that she really does need to know what happened. Bo tells her that he will tell her when the time is right, and he gives her a kiss.  “Breathe” by Faith Hill begins to play, so Bo and Hope dance to it. Marlena tells John that Hope seems to be glowing, and they are both so in love. John wishes Bo didn't have to tell Hope the truth, he wishes they could marry and love that baby as their own. Marlena says it is a nice dream, but not a reality.

Hope feels the baby kicking again, so she makes Bo feel it. Bo is once again reluctant, and Hope senses it. She asks Bo what is wrong, the last time he was pregnant he couldn't keep his hands off of her, but this time she senses he's not happy about this baby. She asks him why that is?

4/4 Hope asked Bo to tell her about the night they made love and the baby was conceived. He evaded the question and said what made him the happiest was having her back in his life. She said she was happy too. She asked Bo if he thought Shawn would mind staying the night at the pub. She told him she needed to feel close to him, to have him wrap his arms around her. They called Shawn and he agreed to stay at the pub for the night. Bo suggested they go to the Salem Inn. Hope nixed the idea saying "No hotels. The boat is the most special place to me. Take me home, Brady."

When John and Marlena arrived back at the table, Bo told them he and Hope were leaving. Hope explained she was anxious to get Bo home. The Black's said they understood. Hope said she needed to use the ladies room before they left and Marlena said she would go with her. While there Hope asked Marlena if she could ask her a professional question. When Marlena agreed Hope asked her if and when her memory would return. Marlena said because they don't know what caused the memory loss she can't determine if or when Hope's memory will ever return.

Hope was devastated by the fact that she may have lost an entire year of her life. Hope told Marlena she can't help but feel like everyone around her hoped she wouldn't remember what happened. Marlena said because this past year had been so difficult the only thing everyone was concerned with was Hope's happiness. The women hugged and Hope said she was o.k. with that explanation..."for now."

Back at the table, John told Bo that Hope was "glowing." Bo agreed and said he had never seen her happier. He asked John how he could possibly tell Hope the truth about the baby when he was certain the truth would shatter Hope's happiness. He said if he didn't tell her soon and her memory came flooding back she would be angry with him for lying to her, either way Hope would end up hurt.

Bo told John the situation with the baby would be much easier to handle if only there was the possibility that someone other than Stefano was the baby's father. In his mind John wondered if he should tell Bo he may be the baby's father. When he started to tell Bo what he had been thinking they were interrupted by the women. John and Marlena watched Bo and Hope leave. Marlena told John that Hope had asked about the possibility of her memory returning. When John asked her if that was possible she said it wasn't likely to happen.

Outside the restaurant, Hope told Bo she wasn't going to dwell on the past. She said she was going to focus on tonight. He happily agreed and they hugged.

4/5 Bo and Hope are making their way to the boat, and when they get there, Bo has had it decorated with lights and welcome home banners. Bo welcomes Hope aboard, and the two go down below. Shawn has left them some sparkling cider, and a note saying how lucky and blessed he is to have them as parents. Hope thinks she is the blessed one to have a wonderful son and a man like Bo. Hope tells Bo that she could sense his determination to find her when she was locked away.

Bo says he sensed her turmoil and desperation. Hope starts talking about her baby and how much she loves him or her, and Bo tells Hope that he has something to tell her, but she has to promise not to get upset. Hope is scared, and asks what he wants to tell her? Bo tells Hope that he knows she wants him to respect her strength, and opinions, but a part of him wants to take her in his arms and protect her. Hope says that doesn't upset her, and she likes being needed. She also likes thinking that when she's not around, he feels a little lost. Bo says he feels a lot lost when she's not around.

Bo tells Hope that she makes him want to be a better person. Hope tells Bo that she loves him, she loves the way he touches her, the way he holds her, she loves him so much. Bo and Hope kiss, and he tells her that he loves her and the child she is going to bring into this world. Hope says "the child WE are going to bring into this world." Bo suggests they check out the bedroom, which has been decorated with candles. Bo and Hope begin to kiss, and undress one another. They fall onto the bed, and make love.

After they make love, Bo tells Hope to get dressed, because they have been asked to baby sit Bill Shaffer's new boat, and there is nothing more romantic than sailing during the sunrise. Hope refuses to leave the boat, so Bo tickles her in order to get her to agree to go with him. Bo and Hope sail around until the sun rises to the tune of Faith Hill's "Breathe."

John asks Stefano to leave his family, Bo, and Hope alone. He says if he does that, he will never tell anyone what he remembers. Stefano asks why he should agree to such a bargain? John says it is simple, he has as much to lose as he does, if not more. Stefano says he may want to blame him for this, but he was a prisoner with Hope when this and the whole plane thing happened. John says he is still connected to it all, and he tells him if he ever tires of scheming and manipulating.

Stefano tells John to cut the crap and get to the real reason why he is here, he is not afraid he will destroy his family, he is afraid that his sexual appetite for another woman will destroy his marriage and family. Stefano tells John that he did indeed make love to Princess Gina Von Amberg during his honeymoon. He tells John that if this truth came out, is marriage to Marlena and his friendship with Bo and Hope would be destroyed!

Stefano tells him that Hope, thinking she was Gina, seduced him, and he is afraid that Hope's baby could be his. John tells Stefano that it could be his (Stefano's) as well! Stefano says that the fact is, that baby is not Bo's. Stefano says whoever would have thought that they shared a secret, or that he would come here begging. Stefano also tells John that he knows he is afraid Hope may remember having sex with him.

Stefano then says that they should get back to the question that he simply cannot ask, how can my friend Stefano DiMera make sure Hope never remembers. John finally takes the brandy that Stefano had set out for him, downs the glass, and then walks out of Stefano's house.

4/6 On the boat, Bo and Hope awoke from a night of lovemaking. Hope asked Bo what he had thought of their evening. He told her he hadn't felt like that in years. "In years?" she asked. She said it hadn't been that long and asked if his memory was getting fuzzy. He said what he meant was that it "seemed" that long. Hope told Bo she trusted him completely and that is why she knew she could ask him anything. She asked him when she changed into the Princess Gina persona and what she did while she thought she was her.

He said after her car accident was when her personality began to change. She said that sounded right because the car accident is the last thing she remembers. He said although she stayed in Salem until just after John and Marlena were married she hadn't been acting like herself since the car accident. He told her she then went to Paris and explained how as Princess Gina she stole a masterpiece fr Stefano's art collection. Hope told Bo she couldn't even imagine being a thief.

"I even return my library books on time" she told him. He told her she wasn't a thief "Princess Gina was" She told him she wanted to talk about something romantic. She said she wanted to talk about the night their baby was conceived. He once again evaded the question and she accused him of not remembering when "it" happened. Bo said although he can't pinpoint an exact when and where the baby was conceived what should matter most is how much he loved her and how much he loved making love to her every time they are together. She apologized for accusing him of being forgetful and thanked him for reminding her of what was most important.

They decided to call Shawn before he left for school and "when we're finished I have a surprise for you" said Bo. She tried to get him to tell her what the surprise was before he called Shawn but he refused. After getting dressed Hope appeared on deck where she was greeted by Bo who had prepared a romantic breakfast setting.

Before sitting down, he asked her if she remembered their wedding vows. She said she did. He began reciting them to her and she joined in. She finished reciting the vows alone. He got down on one knee and vowed to love her forever. He told her he would love for her to be his wife. "Will you marry me?" he asked. Hope said she had been dreaming and praying for this moment for a very long time.
"Yes, I will marry you,"she said. He put a ring on her finger and she tearfully embraced him.

4/7 At the pub, Bo and Hope are decorating the place for Shawn's party. Hope tells Bo that Shawn will be so surprised by this party, and their announcement. Later, Bo asks Hope to make an appointment with Dr. Miller. Hope is afraid to because she fears something could be wrong. Bo says the doctor in France said the baby was fine, but Hope says he could have missed something. Bo tells her that is all the more reason for her to make an appointment. When Hope asks him if he wants a boy or a girl, but tells her that he just wants the baby to be healthy. When Hope says that if Stefano hadn't been there . . . .

Bo tells her to stop, he doesn't want to hear his name again. Hope tells Bo that he did save her and their baby's life, though she's not sure why. Bo doesn't want to talk about it and says once again she needs to get some tests done. Hope refuses and she suspects that Bo thinks something is wrong. Bo says he doesn't, he just doesn't want to lose her. Hope asks why he would think he would lose her. Bo says he is just afraid that something will tear them apart, but Hope says that will never happen. Bo sees Phillip and Shawn coming, so everyone hides and when Phillip and Shawn come in, they all yell surprise.

Meanwhile, Bo and Hope decide to make a speech. They say that they used to take Shawn on sailing trips when he was younger, and they wondered what he would be like when he grew up, and now they know they couldn't have asked for a better son. Bo says that he and his mom have Shawn presents for Shawn that they collected for him since he was a little boy, and they've been saving them for his sixteenth birthday. Shawn's first present is a knife from the battle of Nantucket. His second present is a blowgun from an aborigine in Australia.

The next three gifts are from South Africa, diamonds for his soul mate. He gets some old sailing antique sailing equipment, and a letter that Hope wrote to him on the day he was born. Shawn's next gift is a motorcycle of his own. His fourteenth gift is his baby brother or sister, so Shawn asks what his next two are? His fifteenth gift is a tuxedo. Bo tells him that is for gift number sixteen, his parents wedding! Everyone applauds, and they share a family hug.

At the DiMera mansion, Rolfe talks with Stefano. Stefano hasn't forgotten what Rolfe did while he was gone, but Rolfe says it isn't his fault that the chip in John's brain went faulty. Stefano says he designed the chip, but Rolfe says he tried to do everything he could to fix it. Stefano tells Rolfe to calm down, he holds the trump card over John, and that trump card is Hope.

Rolfe is confused and asks him what he means? Stefano says John slept with Hope, but Rolfe says nobody will hold them accountable for that. Stefano tells Rolfe that he knows a lot about the brain, but not the heart. He says that Marlena and Bo couldn't forgive John and Hope for betraying them, and John and Hope will never forgive themselves.

Rolfe asks what his next step is? Stefano says they need to find out who the father of Hope's child is. He tells Rolfe that John is one possibility, but not the only one. When Rolfe asks who else it could be, Stefano tells Rolfe that he's looking at him.

Rolfe returns and tells Stefano that he knows what he is up to. Stefano plans to use Hope's amniotic fluid to find out if that child is his. He says that if it does turn out to be his child, there is no way in hell he will allow it to be raised a Brady!

4/10 Everyone is celebrating Shawn's birthday and Bo and Hope's announcement. Hope wants a major wedding celebration, so Bo tells her that he'll give her the biggest wedding alem has ever seen. Bo wonders if Hope would be so happy if she knew the truth about the baby, and he tells Hope that he has a very important question to ask her. Bo asks her if she feels any different about this baby than she did when she was carrying Shawn? Hope says the two can't be compared, the situations were totally different. However, when she found out about the baby, even though they weren't physically together, they were emotionally and she knew this baby would bond them together forever.

Bo and Hope go for a walk, and continue talking about children. They look in the pub window and see Chloe. Bo asks Hope how she feels about the Wesley's situation, raising someone else's child that is. Hope asks why she would ask him such a question? Bo says he was just curious. Hope says she'd like to say she'd love that child as if it was her own, wouldn't he? Bo says he would, and Hope says she is grateful that this child she is carrying does come from their love. She says she feels so blessed, and asks him if he doesn't feel that way as well? Bo says he just wants what is best for her. Hope says she and this baby are the luckiest people in the world, and she hugs Bo.

4/11 At Stefano's mansion, he explained to Rolf everything was going according to plan. He told of his plan to use Lexie to find out if he is the father of Hope's baby. He said once Lexie performed the amnio he would learn whether or not he was going to become a father again. He told Rolf that even if he's not the baby's father and John is he could still enjoy it because once John's discovered as the father the relationships of John and Marlena and Bo and Hope will be ruined. He said "Doc" would never be able to forgive John for making love to Hope. He toyed with the idea of being the one to tell Marlena of John's indiscretion. He said no matter how the situation played out he would be the winner in the end.

Outside Brady's Pub, Bo and Hope were loving being in each other's arms. Lexie came upon them and told them they looked very happy. They invited her in to Shawn's birthday party for some cake but she said she was running late for her dinner date with Abe. She explained she had just come from visiting her father and although she knows most of Salem doesn't like him or his evil doings she will always love him because he is her father. Hope told Lexie no matter what she will always remember what Stefano did to save the lives of her and her baby.

Lexie told Hope she was appreciative of her support. Bo said he wanted to get Hope home and off her feet. Hope said she felt fine but Lexie reminded her she needed to get prenatal care. Hope said she had a thorough exam in Paris and the baby had been kicking her constantly. "That must be a good sign" said Hope. Lexie asked Hope why she was afraid to get the care she and her baby needed. Hope said she knew she needed to see a doctor but was afraid because she hadn't realized her condition until so late into the pregnancy and because when she thought she was Princess Gina she smoked. Lexie told her smoking was never a good thing but said it caused the most damage at the end of a pregnancy. She reminded Hope it's not too late to get the care she and the baby need and hopefully everything will be fine.

Hope promised to see a doctor and then asked Lexie if she would be her doctor. Hope explained she knew Lexie wasn't a OB but said she would feel comfortable with her because they're friends. Lexie agreed to do Hope's blood tests at the hospital but said she couldn't do the amnio. She told Hope the amnio would tell them if the baby was healthy or of any complications. Hope promised to go to the hospital in the morning for a complete checkup and bloodwork. She said she would think about the amnio. Lexie said she couldn't force her to do anything she didn't want to do but said she felt the amnio was important. Once Lexie was gone Hope told Bo she would definitely get a checkup and blood test but she would NOT get the amnio.

4/13 On their way home from Shawn's party, Bo and Hope decided to stop and get something to drink. While there Hope had a cramp and said "It's too early for the baby to come." Bo was worried and said he'd take her to the hospital right away but Hope told him she was fine, the baby was just kicking like crazy. Bo brought up the amnio again and Hope finally agreed to have it done. She said she would do it for him and Shawn because she knew it would make them happy. Bo was pleased and hugged her happily.

Hope noticed another couple at the bar and she told Bo they were talking about her. Using the excuse that she wanted peanuts she asked Bo to go over and find out what they were saying. When he did the couple commented to him about the resemblance between the woman he was with and the Princess they had read about in the paper. He told them their was a resemblance but the woman he's with is much more beautiful than the princess was. "Inside and out" he said.

When he returned to Hope's side he admitted the couple had indeed been talking about her. He said they were talking about how beautiful she looked, how pregnancy agreed with her. She told him her happiness was what was making her glow. She asked him to tell her more about her time as Princess Gina. He explained it was like she had two personalities. One as Hope and one as Princess Gina with Gina being the most dominant.

Hope asked him how he could've believed the Gina persona? He told her she had been very convincing. He explained as Hope's personality she was desperate to find out about her missing years and he wanted to help her. He told her he knew something was off when as Gina's personality she began spending most of her time with Stefano. Hope recalled Bo telling her Princess Gina and Stefano worked as a team to steal paintings. Bo told her that was when she went to Paris. He told her he'd also went to Paris and by the time he left to return to Salem he felt like he had finally reached her and was anxious to bring her home.

He said she'd told him there was one more thing she had to do but would meet him back in Salem soon. He told her it was Princess Gina who arrived back in Salem and she was still very much in love with John but soon realized he was happily married to Marlena with no intention of ever leaving her. He explained she began doing things way out of character like trying to ship Shawn off to boarding school because she didn't want him around. Hope was devastated and Bo said he didn't want to say anything more because he didn't want her to get upset. She told him she wanted to know what happened to Princess Gina. "Did she die of a broken heart?" she asked.

4/14 At the Blue Note, Bo and Hope continue their discussion about Gina. Before Bo agrees to tell Hope what he is keeping from her, he asks her how she got her memory back and when she began to realize that she wasn’t Gina? Hope tells him that she remembered who she was when she heard his voice in her head asking "Hope, where are you?" Hope says something pretty big must have happened to cause him to ask that question. Bo remembers asking it right after making love to Gina. Hope wants him to tell her everything.

4/17 Bo and Hope are at the Jazz club. Hope is recanting a memory she had when she was in the turret. It was when she had one of her bad feelings about Bo and Shawn being in danger on New Year's Eve. Bo flashes back to when he and Gina/Hope were at the Horton cabin and "making love." After they were done, he was crying and thinking, this is different, this isn’t Hope, and says to himself, "Hope, where are you?" But he ends up telling Hope that it's a connection they have and that the important thing was that they have each other and that connection. He asks her how long it took Hope to get her memory back? She doesn't really know and questions him as to why he doesn't "really" want her to remember?

Hope and Bo are still talking about what Hope/Gina was up too. No one will tell the "real" Hope what happened to her the last year. Hope wants/needs to know, and no one will tell her. Hope is recanting to Bo how scared she was for Bo and Shawn. How she got this feeling that they were in trouble. She's asking him again what happened to Bo and Shawn D. on New Year's Eve. Hope is pressing Bo to tell her why Bo and Shawn D. were in danger.

Bo flashes back to that night, and he tells Hope that it makes sense that Hope had a sense or a feeling about that night. He tells her that was the night that He married Gina/Hope. Hope is naturally upset.Hope is in shock that Bo married "Gina." She asks him how he could have done that? He says he knew she wasn't "Hope", but he pushed his feelings aside in hopes that it was really Hope that he was marrying. Hope goes into what looks like labor. Bo calls Lexie and tells her that Hope is in labor and that they are on their way to the clinic. Lexie says she'll meet them there.

4/18 At the hospital, Hope was taken into the ER to find out why she was having contractions. Lexie arrived and told Bo she'd tell him what was happening as soon as she knew. While Bo was awaiting word on Hope to himself he thought, "God forgive me but if something were to happen to this baby maybe it would be for the best." He immediately realized he was wrong for thinking such a thing as an innocent baby was involved.

The doctor discovered Hope was having "Braxton Hicks." They stopped the contractions with medication and said the baby was fine. Lexie told Bo Hope needed to take it easy and avoid stress as that is probably what caused the contractions in the first place. Dr. Bader told Hope because they were going to run a series of tests on her and the baby in the morning she should just spend the night at the hospital. Hope said she hadn't been apart from Bo since he'd rescued her and she wasn't going to start now. Lexie explained they'd set up another bed so Bo could stay with her. They both agreed to stay.

Bo asked Hope if she remembered what they were talking about when the contractions began. She said she'd gotten stressed when he told her he'd married Princess Gina. He told her for the sake of her health they must avoid talk of the past. She said at some point she will need to know what happened. Bo promised her he'd be "together" with her through all of this. She said he hadn't been acting like a happy expectant father.

He told her that was because he was worried about her and her health. She asked him if he was "together" with her on this pregnancy. He said "Yea" and held her in his arms. He told her they needed to concentrate on their future and "live for our love." To himself, he thought it may be the only way they can get through this. "Live for our love...maybe your right." Hope said.

4/19 Bo wakes up at the hospital and Hope is sleeping on his chest. Hope wakes up as well and asks if it is raining? Shawn is standing over their bed sprinkling water on them to wake them up. Shawn asks why his mom had to stay overnight? Hope and Bo explain to him what happened. Shawn has to go to school, so he leaves. Lexie says that the amnio will begin when Dr. Bader shows up, and she will come back for it, but right now she has to check on some patients.

Hope begins to feel guilty about not being able to take care of her baby because she didn't know she was pregnant. Lexie returns, so Bo asks her to hang with Hope while he goes and cleans himself up a bit. Hope talks about her baby, but then apologizes because she knows she and Abe are trying. Lexie tells her that doesn't mean she can't be happy for her. Lexie explains how the amnio work, and she says that this will answer all her questions about the baby.

John shows up at the hospital and asks Bo how Hope is doing? Bo says she is doing okay, and she still doesn't remember the past year. John tries to help Bo by saying they have similar situations, he couldn't love Eric or Sami more if they were his own. Bo tells John that the difference is he knows who their father is, and soon he'll know who the father of Hope's baby is. John asks how he will do that? Bo says he's planning to get some of Stefano's DNA and try to match it to the amniotic fluid from Hope's child.

Stefano asks Rolf if the satellite is in position? Rolf says it is, and Stefano is pleased. He says that if Hope should remember anything before the baby is born they will simply zap her brain and erase her memory.

Later, Lexie calls her dad to tell him that Hope is in the hospital. She explains what is going on, and that Hope is going to have the amnio today. After he says goodbye to Lexie, Stefano tells Rolf to get over to the hospital because Hope is having the amnio today, and he wants that fluid!

4/21 Rolf is at Stefano's house pacing and looking at his watch. Stefano comes in and starts yelling at Rolf, because he's not at the hospital yet. Rolf says not to worry. He just didn't want to get there too early and wait on getting Hopes amnio fluid. Stefano doesn't want ANY mishaps, blunders or mistakes! Rolf tells Stefano that everything will be okay and that as soon as he gets Hope's amnio, they'll find out who the father of the baby is.

Bo, Hope, and Lexie are in a hospital room. They're waiting for Dr. Bater to come in and give her an ultra sound. Bo asks Hope if she's sure that she doesn't want to know the sex of the baby. She says I'm sure that I don't want to know. A nurse walks in with some instruments, and brings out the needle for the amnio, and Hope gets really nervous and frightened by the size of the needle. She says she doesn't want to do the amnio anymore.

Lexie is trying to reassure Hope that the amnio is safe. Dr. Bater comes in and is ready to do the ultra sound. Lexie tries to leave, but Hope asks her to leave. During the ultra sound Lexie "gasps" and everyone looks at each other and gets nervous looks on their faces. Hope asks if her baby is okay?

Hope's amnio is done. Dr. Bater gives the amnio fluid to a nurse, and she promptly hands it to Rolf who is wearing a doctor's smock. Rolf is in a closet, and overhears Dr. Bater and a nurse talking about Hope's baby and what the sex is. Rolf says, "won't Stefano be surprised"? He then withdraws some of the fluid out of Hope's amnio vile.

4/24 Bo and Hope are at the hospital. Bo is feeding Hope some kind of food, but Hope doesn't want anymore. Gran comes in with an outfit for Hope because she's going home today. Its white, and she hopes that it will fit. Mrs. H. asks if it's going to be a boy or girl. Hope says she only wants to know if the baby is going to be healthy. She says we should be getting the results from the amnio soon.

DVD #44B 4/24 Rolf gets REALLY upset about the smashed vile, and cries, “Stefano is going to kill me!”

Hope tries on her new outfit. Hope thanks Lexie for being there for her during the tests. Bo wishes Lexie luck on trying to get pregnant. Bo and Hope are getting ready to leave the hospital. Bo flashes back to when Hope was first in the hospital and he just found out that Hope was pregnant. He remembers saying to always remember that he loves her, as he climbs into bed with her and holds her and comforts her. He thinks to himself, "Oh Fancy Face, how am I ever going to tell you"?

Mrs. H. breaks his reverie, and asks him if he's okay? He says, yes, of course. Mrs. H. says he can't fool her. She can see in his eyes that something is troubling him, and that it was the same kind of look he had when his father, Victor, was sick and wouldn't talk to anyone about it. She tells him that anytime he needs someone to talk to, she'll be there for him ALWAYS. He hugs her and says thanks, Mrs. H.

Lexie discovers the abandoned cart that Rolf was using, and finds Hope's amniotic fluid still on the cart, and asks the nurse why its still doing there? The nurse said she handed Hope's fluid to a technician. Lexie is a bit freaked out and wondering why it didn't get to the lab.

Rolf is still outside really freaking out and asked how he could be so clumsy. Rolf calls Stefano, and tells him he has bad news. Stefano tells Rolf please tell me nothing happened to the fluid. Rolf says, to tell you the truth, I dropped it. Stefano is livid.

Bo and Hope leave the hospital. Bo has a surprise for Hope. He takes her to a real estate office, and says they're going to buy a house. She's unsure about buying a house, because she like's living on the boat, but Bo convinces her that it's a good thing to do and she concedes.

Stefano is totally furious with Rolf. Rolf is pleading with Stefano to calm down; that there is still the original vile he can get. Stefano is trying to keep control of his anger and suggests that Rolf put something around it to protect it! Rolf pretends to have cell phone static, while Stefano is yelling at him, and Rolf hangs up on Stefano. Stefano is really angry and damning Rolf about the amniotic fluid. Lexie says I've gotta run and get my friend's fluid to the lab. Rolf overhears her and follows her. Its still pouring down rain outside.

4/25 On her way to the lab to drop off Hope's amniotic fluid, Lexie was being followed by Rolf. Stefano called Rolf and told him he must never disobey him and said if he brought any harm to Lexie he'd cripple him. Lexie and Rolf arrived at the lab. She sees the lights are off but goes to see if anyone is still there. While waiting for her to return to her car, Rolf puts a ski mask on. As she started to unlock her car door to herself she said "Well, that was a wasted trip. I'll have to come back tomorrow."

Rolf approached her from behind and she immediately began to fight him off. She was doing well until he punched her in the jaw and she fell to the ground. He grabbed her purse jumped in his car and sped off. When she got up she was disappointed, he had gotten away and she realized he made off with her purse.

4/26 Rolf is working in the lab to learn who the father of Hope's baby is when Stefano comes in and decks Rolf. The second vial of fluid falls to the floor with Rolf, and it breaks.

4/27 At Brady's Pub, Bo and Hope told Caroline Dr. Bader said everything looked great with the baby. Caroline commented she didn't think they would have the amnio results so quickly. Hope told her they didn't have the results yet but she was sure everything would be fine. The baby was kicking furiously and Hope asked Caroline if she'd ever felt such an active baby. Caroline said "Yes" as she told Hope's belly "Your father!" Bo shifted uneasily.

They were interrupted by a phone call from Lexie who explained to Hope that she was mugged. She said her purse was stolen and it had Hope's amniotic fluid in it. She apologized profusely and Hope told her what was most important was that she's okay. Lexie told her she'd be fine and apologized again. Hope said she'd talk to Dr. Bader and see what she recommends they do.

When Hope hung up, Bo immediately asked her what happened. Hope explained and told Bo she would talk to Dr. Bader about what happened but said she didn't think another amnio was necessary. She said if anything was seriously wrong they surely would've detected it through the ultrasound. She said she truly feels everything will turn out perfectly.

When Caroline left them alone, they began discussing where they would live when the baby arrived. They decided they would keep the boat but realized it is too small to house a family of four. Especially if they decided to have more children Bo told her. While looking at different homes, the realtor recommended Hope chose the one she thought would be perfect for them. She explained it had waterfront property which would be perfect for docking their boat.

He immediately told her it wouldn't be possible. He explained that on his salary he couldn't afford the house payment. She said if they used money from her trust fund they would be able to afford it. He told her he didn't want her to dip into that as it was her money that had been put away for Shawn's college fund. He said he wanted her to hold on to her nest egg for their children's futures. She reluctantly agreed. He asked her to let him handle the details of finding them a place to live. He told her it was very important that he provide for his family in his own way.

When Caroline rejoined him, he explained Hope had gone to the bathroom as she'd begun to feel queasy. She asked him what he was looking at and he said he and Hope had been looking at different houses trying to decide where they were going to live once the baby came. He showed her the one Hope had her heart set on but said it wasn't financially possible for them to have that one. He told her Hope had offered to dip into her trust fund so they could get the house but said he'd turned her offer down because he wanted that money to go to their children.

While Caroline looked at the paper, Bo handed her describing the home she told him she may be able to help. He was confused and she told him not to go away as she'd be back shortly. When she returned she explained she had gone to Shawn and together they'd decided they wanted to help Bo and Hope. She said it was their turn to help him since he'd been so generous to them in he past. She explained that without his and Roman's help she and Shawn certainly couldn't have achieved what they have.

She told him they had decided they would give them the money for a down payment on the house. At first he refused, saying taking money from them would be like taking money from Hope's trust fund. She reminded him he can never refuse his mother and insisted that helping was what they really wanted to do. He agreed to accept their help. He thanked his mother and they hugged while happily exchanging "I Love You's."

At Stefano's, as he furiously slapped Rolf for hitting his daughter, Hope's vial of amniotic fluid fell to the floor and was destroyed. Rolf begged for Stefano's forgiveness and promised to do everything Stefano asked of him. Rolf said that may be true and although they no longer had Hope's amniotic fluid one good thing had come out of the days events. He told Stefano that while he was at the hospital he overheard something that he knew would make Stefano very happy. "And what is that?' Stefano asked. Rolf said he heard Hope's doctor say she would be delivering a baby boy.

"A son." Stefano said. He was thrilled with the thought of possibly being the father of a bouncing baby boy. Stefano explained he'd given Bart the simple task of finding a pregnant woman who would be delivering a Caucasian baby around the same time Hope was due to give birth. Rolf asked Stefano what he was plotting now but Stefano said his plan wasn't completely formulated yet. He said the only thing he knew for sure was that he would not allow his daughter to be hurt by watching Hope with her newborn. He said he wanted to make sure his daughter was holding a newborn of her own.

5/1 Hope shows up penthouse to see John, Marlena is still in Chicago. Hope tells John that there is something they need to talk about. Hope thanks John for everything he did to help find her. John is relieved and says "is that all." Hope says that is everything, she owes him everything and can't possibly repay him. John tells him that having her back is all the thanks he needs. Hope tells John that he's such a good man, honest and generous. Hope tells John that his courage is such an inspiration. John tells Hope that he doesn't deserve this praise, he is infallible as everyone else. Hope tells John that word doesn't apply to him, and aside from her dad and Bo, there isn't another man she admires as much as him.

Hope tells John that if her child is a son, she wants to name it after him. John asks Hope not to do that. Hope asks why not? John says he appreciates the sentiment, but perhaps they should name it after a Brady, Horton, or Williams. Hope says she'll discuss it with Bo, and tells John that the ultrasound checked out, but her amnio sample was stolen. John asks how that happened? Hope explains what happened, and John is very suspicious. John asks if she is going to have it done again, but Hope doesn't think so. John tries to convince her to have it again.

Hope asks why it is so important to him? John tells her that it is because she is important to him, both she and Bo are. Hope tells John that he is a good friend, but she feels everything is in God's hands now. Hope says she had the ultrasound and everything looked great, and she shows the pictures to John. John looks at the pictures and is deeply affected by them. The baby begins to kick, so Hope grabs John's hand so he can feel it. Hope says this baby is strong, and this pregnancy is different. She says that Bo doesn't seem very interested in this baby, but John says he is just overwhelmed. Still, Hope thinks Bo isn't connected to this baby, and she asks John if he knows why?

5/2 At the penthouse, Hope and John were discussing her baby. She told him Bo hadn't been acting as excited with this pregnancy as he had when she was pregnant with Shawn. John told her it must be because Bo's overwhelmed by the past years events. Hope said she hoped that was all it was but still felt certain everyone was hiding something from her. She said she came to him because due to his own experience he must know what she's going through regarding the missing year of her life. She asked that as one of her oldest and dearest friends he tell her what happened while she was Gina. He told her the past was best left in the past but she insisted she must know. "Damn it, Gina. Why are you always so stubborn?" John asked. Hope was stunned.

When she asked him why he called her Gina, he said it meant nothing. He told her something in his sub-conscious must've caused him to call her that. He went out on the terrace and she immediately followed. She said Bo told her he'd married Princess Gina on New Years Eve and at one time Gina carried a torch for John. She begged him to tell her what happened. She asked him if he'd ever loved Gina and if the memory flashes he'd had of Gina were from years ago or of him with her. She told him she was uncomfortable about asking but needed to know..."Did I try to seduce you?" she asked.

Marlena arrived unannounced and over heard Hope telling John, "I need you..." with John telling Hope it wasn't going to happen. Because Marlena hadn't overheard Hope asking John to tell her what happened while she was Gina, Marlena assumed Hope's personality had split again. "Oh God! This can't be happening again." she said.

5/3 At the penthouse, Marlena sees Hope with her arm around John's shoulder telling him that she needs him. Marlena says this can't be happening again, and rushes out to the terrace to tell them to stop! Marlena asks John if it is happening again? John says everything is fine, Hope is fine, nothing is happening. Marlena apologizes, but Hope realizes something is very wrong. Hope asks Marlena what is going on? Marlena once again apologizes to her, but Hope won't let her change the subject.

They go inside, and Hope demands to know what happened to her fill in the blanks of the past year. She feels like they are conspiring to keep her in the dark, but Marlena says that is not it. She assures them that whatever they have to say won't damage her baby, she is going to have a fine, healthy baby. Hope notices "a look" on John's face and asks him to explain the look he gets every time she talks about her baby? Marlena says that John is just concerned about her and the baby. John asks Hope to hold off on her questions until she has the child. Hope asks if there is something about this child she should know?

Marlena tells Hope that John has already told her, he is just worried about the baby. Still, Hope thinks it is about something more, something they shared. Marlena asks what they share? Hope says the past, John lost a part of his life to Stefano too. Marlena says that is true, but she doesn't want John to think or talk about it, she wants them to get on with their lives. Hope realizes that is what they want her to do as well. Hope realizes they won't tell her what she needs to know, so she will leave. Hope tells them that she loves them both, but she is missing a year of her life which she has to get back. She tells them that nothing will stop her from finding out what happened last year.

5/5 Hope and Bo are driving to Dot.Com, and Hope is telling Bo that she can't take much more of this being kept in the dark about the past year. Bo tells Hope that she should be preparing herself to bring this baby into the world. Hope says she is doing that, and a lot more things. Hope realizes it is "almost time." Hope turns on the radio, and the announcer plays their song and announces that Hope is ready to walk down the isle with Bo. Bo pulls over to the side of the road for a little make-out session with Hope.

Bo and Hope pick Shawn up, and blindfold him before they agree to go anywhere with him. They eventually arrive at their new house, which looks a lot like Jack and Jen's old house, which Shawn thinks is cool. After checking out his room, Shawn asks when they can move in? Bo says as soon as possible.

5/9 Doug, Julie, and Alice have shown up to see Bo and Hope's new house. Doug asks Bo and Hope about their wedding? Bo says there is not much to say, they are getting hitched, and Hope adds for the last time. Doug says the best part is that Stefano DiMera can't interfere this time. John and Marlena are also helping out to fix up the house.

Later, some canisters of something that were on the roof break loose, and roll off the roof and head straight for Doug. John acts quickly and manages to pull Doug out of the way before they fall on him. Doug tells John that he's superhuman, faster than a speeding bullet and more powerful than a locomotive! Marlena whispers to Julie that is exactly what she was talking about.

5/16 At Bo and Hope's, Hope is busy lighting candles, and when Bo comes downstairs, she pulls him onto the couch and begins to kiss him. They cuddle on the couch and talk, and later Lexie and Abe show up with some sparkling cider. Lexie tells Bo and Hope that theiistant relative of Stefano's. They try to convince him that a child is a child, and this one needs a home.

Meanwhile, Stefano tells Lexie that he has ordered a baby gift for Bo and Hope, and it has to arrive when the baby is born, so he wonders if she knows when Hope's baby is due, or can find out for him? Lexie is touched that her father is going to all this trouble. Lexie says she'll see what she can find out for him. Lexie returns and finds everyone talking about the baby, and she becomes upset because Abe is still reluctant to adopt.

5/17 Hope tells Abe that Stefano did save her and her baby's life. Lexie asks Abe to accept that Stefano does have a loving side, and she asks him why they can't adopt this baby? Can't he permit her father to allow their dreams to come true? Abe says if he thought this would make their dreams come true then things would be different, but this is Stefano DiMera they are talking about. Lexie says Stefano is her father, so does he have a problem being married to her? Abe says no. Lexie says if Hope can forgive Stefano, why can't he?

Lexie asks Hope to tell Abe how caring her father can be. Hope tells Abe that she does understand his point of view, but Stefano was very caring towards her when they were hostage, and he wouldn't let her give up hope, he reminded her why she was named Hope. Abe doesn't understand the story, why was Stefano so concerned about her and her baby? Rolf shows up and begins spying on everyone at this point. Lexie says the answer to Abe's question is that Stefano has a good heart, but Abe disagrees, and says he still has reservations about adopting this child. Rolf says that Stefano is wrong and Abe must be eliminated. Lexie says if Hope can forgive Stefano, why can't he?

Bo asks Hope if she has forgiven Stefano? Hope says it isn't about forgiving him so much, but she does realize that he has a caring side. Suddenly, Hope spots Rolf spying on them. Abe thinks they should check things out, but Bo wonders if she really saw something? Hope thinks she must have let her imagination run away. However, they end up something clanging around, but it isn't Rolf. Bo and Abe go outside to check things out. They end up finding a big hole in the ground, and wonder what is going on. Rolf pulls out his gun when they hear another suspicious sound. It turns out to be Doug and Julie attempting to plant a tree, but Abe and Bo both sneak up on them and grab them.

5/18 At Bo and Hope's, with their guns drawn Bo and Abe ordered the intruders to show themselves or risk being shot. When Doug and Julie emerged with their hands up the men were stunned. Bo told Hope and Lexie everything was okay and the women joined them. Doug and Julie explained they were trying to surprise the new home owners with a housewarming present. "What...a hole in our backyard?" Hope asked.

They explained their gift was in the car. When they walked over there Hope said "And tire tracks to?!" When Lexie looked in the trunk she spotted the black bag and immediately got scared. When Abe investigated he told everyone it was a tree. Hope was confused when she questioned, "A tree?!"

"The tree of life" Julie told her. She explained they had hoped to plant it as a surprise. She said the tree was a symbol of love and joy that was supposed to bring them happiness and growth. "Much like the same things life gives you." Julie told them. Bo and Hope thanked them for their wonderful gift. After hearing Julie's explanation of the "tree of life”, Lexie told Abe she wanted one for them. She begged him to reconsider adopting Marlo's baby. Hope asked Bo to seize this opportunity and take Abe aside to finish the earlier adoption conversation.

When the two men went inside, Bo told Abe that Marlo's baby can't be blamed for Stefano's misdeeds. He said the baby deserved to have loving parents which he's confident Abe and Lexie will be. Bo told Abe although this was all happening unexpectedly fast it was happening for a reason. He said even he wasn't prepared when Hope told him she was pregnant but he realized quickly this was how it was meant to be. He explained a child was a blessing that shouldn't be denied.

Back outside, Doug told the women he would plant the tree while they visited. Lexie told Julie about Marlo and the baby. Julie told Lexie she was happy for her. She reminded Lexie to keep the faith as that is the key to everything working out the way it's supposed to. Lexie thanked her for her kind words and support. Bo and Abe were interrupted by Hope and Lexie who said they were anxious to know what was taking them so long. Abe told Lexie instead of having another drink they should head for home to which she agreed because it was late. After Abe asked Bo to say goodnight to Doug and Julie for them, everyone said goodbye.

Back in the kitchen, Hope asked Bo how things went with Abe. "I don't know. I just told him how I feel." Hope smiled happily. They went back outside and again thanked Doug and Julie for their gift who then left. Before going back inside Hope commented they were very lucky to have been blessed with this baby. He agreed saying, "Yes, our future is going to be the best."
"The very best!" Hope said happily. As they kissed passionately the screen faded to black.

5/22 At the penthouse, Hope shows up to see John and Marlena. Hope talks about her wedding, and asks Marlena to be her matron of honor. Marlena and Hope discuss the wedding, and eventually take off to a bridal shop to look at dresses. At the shop, Marlena and Hope discuss Hope's past, which Hope claims she is putting behind her.

At the station, Bo is worried about the baby. Bo talks to Roman about the baby, and his fears, but he doesn't tell him that the baby is not his. Roman tells him to look on the bright side of things, he's getting married, Roman is going to be his best man, and he's having a baby!

5/23 As they were having coffee at the Java Cafe, Hope and Marlena were discussing wedding plans. Hope pulled out some material swatches and asked Marlena which one she liked best. Marlena showed her which one she liked then asked Hope who else would be in the wedding party. Hope wouldn't tell saying she wanted it to be a surprise. Hope said she and Bo wouldn't pick a place or set a date until after the baby was born but all other arrangements could be taken care of.

After deciding on food and music Marlena brought up the need of a photographer. When Hope asked if she could be talking about Eric, Marlena smiled happily. Hope said she had also thought of him and would ask him the next time she saw him. Marlena offered to help Hope find gifts for the wedding party but Hope said she would do that on her own. She told Marlena she didn't want her picking out her own gift. "Speaking of gifts..." Hope said. She asked Marlena what she gave her and John for a wedding gift. Marlena told Hope she'd given them a painting. "Oh...and who painted it?" Hope asked.

"You did" Marlena replied. Hope asked Marlena if that is what clued her in to the fact that she was really Princess Gina. Marlena told her she knew she had some Gina characteristics but at the same time she wasn't exactly sure what was going on. "Then when?" Hope asked. Marlena shifted uncomfortably before they were interrupted by Chloe. Chloe told Marlena she was there with Belle and was getting them some lemonade. She said she'd just stopped to say hello. She asked Hope how she was feeling then left the ladies alone.

Hope commented that Shawn often spoke about how smart Chloe is and how great she sings. Marlena agreed that Chloe was a very talented young girl who was going through a difficult time right now, the difficulties of being a teen. When Hope mentioned the painting again Marlena reminded her she'd decided not to dwell on the past so much and focus on her future with Bo, Shawn and the baby instead. Hope remembered yet said it was frustrating.

She then asked Marlena where she and John had gone on their honeymoon. "Hawaii" Marlena replied. Hope was in awe saying it must have been beautiful. Marlena agreed saying after having to weather a storm the first few days everything came together very nicely. Hope was happy when Marlena promised to show her the pictures. They were then interrupted by Belle who asked if they had seen Mimi.

Doug and Julie went over to Hope’s to do some projects for them. Julie made her way over to the fireplace while Doug was tightening a shelf. She proceeded to crawl inside to attempt opening the flue. Doug realized he wasn't tightening but was loosening the shelf. "I think we have a problem!" he said as the shelf and the display plates that were on it crashed to the floor. "A problem?" Julie asked. When Doug turned to face her, she was standing in the living room covered in soot. She told him she got the flue open.

At that moment, Hope arrived. She asked what was going on while Doug tried to explain they were only trying to help. "You were trying to fix something weren't you daddy?" Hope asked. Doug smiled sheepishly. "And Julie, what happened?" Hope questioned her. She told them they had better hurry and get the place cleaned up before Bo returned. "Oh Julie! Look at you!" Hope said with an exasperated sigh as the trio headed into the kitchen.

5/26 At Bo and Hope's, Hope, Julie, and Doug have finished cleaning and fixing the mess Doug and Julie made. Bo, who is on his way home, calls Hope and suggests she call out for dinner so that they can have a romantic dinner for two tonight. Hope says it sounds great, and will see him when he gets here. Bo arrives to have a romantic dinner with his soon to be wife. However, Shawn and Alice suddenly arrive for dinner!

Alice sees all the candles and realizes they are interrupting, and suggests they go to a fast food place. Bo tells them not to do that, and Hope says they can join them for dinner. Doug and Julie are still around, they ordered a whole lot of food, and Bo says there is enough food for them all. Julie thought they wanted to have a romantic dinner? Dinner arrives, and they all sit down for dinner. The baby starts to kick Hope, and Bo asks Hope if she is all right? Hope says the little one is just letting them know he or she is here. Hope then says it must be fate that they are all here, because she has some favors to ask of them.

She turns to Alice and asks her to be a bridesmaid at her wedding. Alice exclaims "You have to be kidding!" Hope asks her to please stand up for her, and Alice agrees. She also asks Julie to be a bridesmaid, which touches Julie, who agrees. Bo then asks Shawn to be a groomsman. Later, Hope goes out for some fresh air, and appears to be hit with a labor pain. Hope returns and tells Bo that she thinks it is time to go to the hospital!

5/29 At Bo and Hope's, Hope's labor pains where a false alarms. Shawn decides to go down to Dot.Com, since he's not needed here. Hope asks if something important is going on? Shawn says no, he and Phillip are just having a little video game tournament. When Bo asks what they are playing for, Shawn says nothing dangerous, and tells his parents not to worry because he won't lose.

After Shawn leaves, Bo asks Hope is something is wrong? She says yes, something is wrong. Hope tells Bo that she's having second thoughts about their wedding. Bo asks "about remarrying me?" Hope says no, about waiting. She isn't sure she wants to wait till after the baby is born because she feels they are setting a bad example for Shawn and for the new baby. Bo tells Hope he has an idea, he's going to bring the truck around, so she should go in and say goodnight to Doug and Julie, and then come back out.

Bo and Hope go to City Hall to get a marriage license, which Hope thinks is sweet. Hope can't believe they are going to get married tonight, and fears she will disappoint their family. Bo says they can still have the big wedding, they can just keep it a secret from them. Hope doubts she can keep it a secret, but Bo says it will be exciting and romantic. Unfortunately, the clerk tells Bo and Hope that he can't give them a marriage license, because she is dead! Hope says she is alive, but the clerk says there is a death certificate online. Bo says he had that death certificate rescinded, but the clerk doesn't see it. The clerk entered Hope Brady into the computer, so Hope suggests he try Hope Williams, which works. He then prints them out a marriage license.

5/30 In Bo's truck, on their way to see the justice of the peace he told Hope how happy he was the two of them would soon be married again. When she didn't respond he immediately pulled over to see what was wrong then quickly realized she was only sleeping. He said waiting one more day shouldn't be a problem. Then said "Did you hear that little one? You stay in there for now, at least for one more day." He then told Hope to sleep well as tomorrow would be a busy day.

When Hope woke up, she apologized for falling asleep then commented putting the wedding off until tomorrow may be a better idea. He said he'd already figured that out and had turned around a while back. He said they were headed for home. "Home..."she said happily. He agreed saying he too was happy to be in their new home with their soon to be expanding family. Once they arrived Hope kissed Bo telling him she'd gotten her second wind after the nap she took. She asked him to come with her as she wanted to show him something. Together they went into the backyard where Bo wrapped his arms around her. As they gazed at the stars they spoke of their love for each other. He asked John if his visit had anything to do with Hope and said he already knew John wanted him to make sure Hope never remembered their time together on the submarine. "Your wrong." John told him. He explained to Stefano he wanted him to leave Hope and her family alone along with him and his family. Stefano reminded John many lives would be ruined by this revelation. John said he was willing to take the risk if it meant saving Hope's sanity.

He threatened Stefano saying if anything happened to Hope or anyone else he cared about he would make sure the floppy disc he had containing all of Stefano's misdeeds would land in Lexie's hands. John reminded Stefano he knew how important Alexandra was to him but she would surely be devastated to learn about the many horrible things her father had done. Stefano said John was the one who had the most to lose if the truth about him and Hope came out. He told John he would lose everything important to him and everyone he loved.

6/2 Bart is shocked they are going to switch Hope and Marlo's babies (Marlo is the woman giving up her baby to Lexie to adopt). Rolf is dressed up as a woman, and Bart calls him “Nurse Rolf” and “Rolfina”. He warns Bart that they have to do as they are told or they will be in big trouble.

At Bo and Hope's house, Bo and Hope are planning to run off and get married. Shawn comes downstairs and wonders what his parents are all dressed up for. Hope tells Shawn that there is something she and his dad need to tell him. Hope tells Shawn that they want to be married before the baby is born. Shawn jokes that they better do it tonight, and then he realizes that is what they are planning on doing. Bo and Hope tell Shawn that they are going to have a small private wedding tonight, and the bigger wedding later on. Shawn tells them any way they want to do it is fine with him. Hope asks Shawn to go upstairs and get dressed, so he does.

Unfortunately, Alice, Doug, and Julie show up, and wonder where they are going all dressed up without them? Julie says they look like they are going to a wedding! Hope says they are just going out to eat, so Alice invites them out to eat with them. Julie says they are a bit overdressed for the burger barn. Bo says they are doing the family thing tonight, and Doug hints that they are family. Suddenly, Shawn walks down the steps yelling "Whose ready to tie the not?" Alice looks at Bo and Hope and asks the dears if they have something to tell them? Bo just says that their kid still can't tie a tie. Alice thinks something is up, and Doug agrees. Suddenly, Hope goes into labor!

6/5 Hope goes into labor and there is so much excitement and confusion going on that nobody really knows what they are doing. Alice finally calms everyone down and tells Shawn to bring the truck around to the front. She tells Bo and Shawn to take Hope to the hospital and she orders Doug and Julie to pack a bag for Hope. Doug and Julie race upstairs and get a bunch of stuff from the bedroom and bring them down to a suitcase that is on the couch. The only problem is that they brought stuff that she will never have any use for in the hospital. Alice tells them to calm down because all Hope really needs right now is Bo and Shawn. To keep Doug occupied, Alice sends him over to her place to pick up her donut maker so she can make fresh donuts for everyone.

At the hospital, Bo takes Hope up to Nurse Brenda's desk where they are told that Dr. Bader is on vacation until the next day. Brenda gets Hope into a wheel chair and takes her down to ER to wait until the baby is born. Bo is muttering to himself something about "no matter who the baby belongs to." Shawn overhears him and wants to know what he means. Bo tells him that it is just nervous talk and it seems to satisfy Shawn. They go looking for Hope and find her in a hospital bed. Brenda explains that the labor could take as long as 24 hours. Evidently Father Jansen is on his way to marry them, so if the labor takes a while, they just might get married before the baby arrives after all. Hope asks Bo to call Lexie to be a witness at their wedding and also to stand by to deliver the baby.

6/6 At the hospital, Hope is still worrying about Father Jansen not making it in time. Lexie shows up to be with Hope, and Hope gets another contraction. Lexie yells at Bo and Shawn to leave for a bit so she can examine Hope. Shawn wishes there is something he could do, so Bo tells him to call everyone and tell them to stay home because the baby isn't coming yet. Lexie check's Hope, and she's only dilated two centimeters. Stefano calls Lexie to check on Hope's status. Lexie says there should be a new baby in the next twenty-four hours. Stefano asks Lexie to give Hope his best, and to stay in touch. As Hope is screaming from pain, Lexie tells Hope that Abe has agreed to the adoption.

Bo returns, and Lexie asks Hope if she's come up with a name yet. Hope says no, not yet. Hope asks Lexie if she has? Lexie says they know it is a boy, but haven't settled on a name. Suddenly, Bo gets a phone call and learns that Father Jansen isn't coming. However, they are sending over a Father Peter instead. Elsewhere, Lexie catches Nurse Rolfina spying on the doctors talking about Hope's delivery. She doesn't recognize him/her, and asks what he/she is doing here? Rolfe says he is nurse Rhianna and "she" is new here. Lexie ends up believing "nurse Rhianna's" story, and Rolfe tells himself that he has a plan to switch the babies without ever having to touch them.

6/7 John, Marlena, and Alice show up at the hospital, spoiling Bo and Hope's attempt at a private wedding. Marlena worries about John's odd behavior because he's not looking very happy about Hope giving birth. When Bo finally gets everyone out of the room, the priest shows up, only to end up leaving to give some their last rights.

Meanwhile, Stefano shows up with Marlo, and Rolf poses as Marlo's doctor. Lexie learns Marlo is in labor, so she calls Abe, who rushes over to the hospital.

6/8 At the hospital, Rolf secretly switches the prepared Brady ID bracelet with a replica and then does the same for the Carver ID bracelet. He then heads to Marlo's room and injects her I.V. tube a drug that will speed up labor. Hearing her scream out, Lexie and Abe rush in to her room only to find she has flat-lined. With Doug, Julie and Alice in the LDR, Bo is frustrated in trying to get married in private before Hope gives birth. After Doug, Julie and Alice leave, Shawn ushers in the Friar who begins to marry Bo and Hope. Before they finish their vows, Hope begins to deliver her baby.

6/9 Hope is ready to push, but she says she can't yet. Bo asks the priest to hurry up and skip ahead to the "I now pronounce you man and wife." part. The priest pronounces them husband and wife only moments before the baby is born. Hope holds her son, and the priest congratulates them and leaves. Hope asks Bo if he would like to hold his son? Bo holds the baby, and Hope is happy to see him holding "their" child.

The Bradys and Hortons all come in to see Bo, Hope, Shawn, and the new baby. They congratulate them, and then start talking about the wedding. John and Marlena soon show up and congratulate Bo and Hope on the new baby.

Rolf runs to the nursery to switch the bracelets, but is too late, the nurses are already putting them on the babies!

6/12 In the hospital nursery, the nurses look at the babies in their bassinets and their ID tags. After they leave, the names on the bracelet magically change. Rolf watches this and smiles. The nurses return later and realize that the babies have been put in the wrong bassinets. Rolf watches as the nurses yell at one another, and they agree not to mention this to anyone. The nurses then take the babies to their mothers.

Julie comes into Hope's room, with others, and asks Hope who the baby looks like? Hope says it is kind of hard to tell who he looks like right now. A nurse brings the wrong baby to Hope, and Lexie, who is with Hope, is handed Hope's baby. Hope says her baby has changed, but Lexie says that is normal, they change so much from the time of birth, but Lexie says she'd know her baby anywhere. Alice has arranged for Lexie and Abe to have a room of their own to enjoy their baby in, and they thank her. Lexie leaves with Alice, and Abe thanks Bo for convincing him to adopt this baby. Abe leaves, and Hope nurses "her" baby. The baby doesn't want to take the milk at first, but the nurse pushes him to do so.

Bo goes outside to talk to the family, he tells them that both mother and baby are sleeping. Doug produces some cigars, but says they can't light up until they name the baby. Doug thinks they should name it Doug, since they named their first son Shawn, but Julie reminds him that his name is Shawn Douglas! Suddenly, the baby begins to cry, and Hope worries. Later, Bo and Hope tell Shawn that they are going to stay at the hospital with the baby, and Bo tells Shawn he can stay at the house on his own. Hope says absolutely not, someone could break in! Bo says that he is a man now, and he will stay very close to the phone. Hope agrees to let him stay home alone, but tells him they she will be calling to check up on him!

6/13 At the hospital, Bo and Hope were with the baby. Hope was trying to calm him down as he was very fussy. She tried to breastfeed with no success. A nurse entered and tried to help Hope relax. Hope told her she was worried the baby wasn't getting enough to eat which was causing him to be irritable. The nurse reminded Hope she hadn't had a baby in 16 years then assured her once the two of them adjusted to this new situation everything would be fine. She offered to take the baby to the nursery to try to calm him down then suggested Hope get some rest.

When they were alone, Hope was still nervous while telling Bo she couldn't shake the feeling something was "really wrong" with the baby. He quieted her fears saying this was an adjustment for everyone involved but promised everything would be okay once things settled down. She still didn't seem completely convinced but agreed to take the nurse's advice and get some rest. He stayed with her until she fell asleep then went into the hall to speak with Dr. Bader.

He asked her to be honest and tell him if there was something wrong with the baby. She admitted the baby had lost more weight then she would have liked since his birth but assured Bo once he adjusted to his new diet he'd be fine. Bo explained he had tried to convince Hope that was how it was but admitted he was worried. Dr. Bader again told him everything would be okay.

Meanwhile, in the nursery the nurse was still unable to settle the baby down. She told another nurse she disagreed with Dr. Bader's diagnosis, that she thinks something is wrong with this baby.

6/15 The nurses inform Bo that the baby is upset and needs more nourishment more often. When they bring the infant to Hope, the baby refuses to eat until after much effort on Hope's part. Alice worries about the baby.

6/19 Bo shows up at Dr. Bader’s home and pounds on her door! He insists talks with Dr. Bader about the baby being constantly upset. The doctor assures him that the baby is fine. Shawn and his friends have fun at the house until Bo comes home and yells at them for making a mess of the place. He later apologizes to them for losing his cool.
