Bo & Hope #46 November 7, 2000 - February 15, 2001: 8 hour original edit

DVD #46A Hope finally updates Bo on the surgery J.T. had. Bo admits that he's on a case and can't return to Salem just now. In Ireland Bo and Jennifer arrive at the Happy Clover Factory owned by the DiMera family. Jennifer tries to get a job but accidentally mentions the name Brady which causes warning signals to Mrs. O'Shea. Meanwhile, Bo finds an entrance to an underground factory but is interrupted by two rifle-toting thugs.

11/8 Alice visits JT at the hospital, talking to him about the family. As the song "As the Years Go By" plays, various scenes of Bo & Hope, John with baby Brady, bathtub scenes with Bo & Hope.

Jen is in trouble and O'Shea takes a phone call from one of the goons holding Bo captive. A guard keeps her in the office as she tries to leave, but when O'Shea leaves a second time after dispatching him elsewhere, Jen sneaks out and escapes to the jeep. She wonders where Bo is when she is found by a guard with a gun on her.

Meanwhile Bo has been tied to a pole of some kind, and is working his rope bonds loose. He has a couple of flashbacks of him & Hope in earlier times on a bicycle, their wedding, Shawn's birth, and on their recent sailing trip.

Hope again asks Marlena if she slept with other men while she was Gina. Doc dances around the question and Hope presses her. Gran comes out of JT's room, and says she wants to go see Belle. Marlena tries to use the opportunity of escorting Alice to Belle's room and stop Hope's questioning, but Hope doesn't let her leave. Hope again pressures Marlena, and a flashback to Marlena giving Hope a meaningful poem when she married Bo. Hope and Marlena argue, and the subject of the problems that arose long ago concerning Belle's parentage comes up. Hope realizes that Bo is not the father of JT, and becomes very upset, thinking the father is Stefano.

In Belle's room, Gran talks to her about the people who love her (more Bo & Hope flashbacks). Then as Alice talks more about family, the Ray Charles song "What a Wonderful World" begins and a series of family clips beginning with Tom and Alice at the Horton Christmas tree, but mostly Bo & Hope. As Alice sits by the bed, talking about love, the song "As Time Goes By" plays with clips of a few weddings, and some wonderful ones of Tom and Alice.

In front of the Horton fireplace, Frances Reid talks to the viewers directly, thanking us for watching the show, and ending with "May your hearts be filled with peace and joy all the Days of our Lives."

11/9 Hope, still alone, goes to the chapel to thank God for saving JT. She starts crying asking him why he chose Stefano DiMera to be her son's father. She promises herself to protect JT from Stefano, but remembers Stefano hasn't even tried to see the baby. Maybe someone else is the father? She then remembers how well Stefano took care of her in the turret and thinks otherwise. She realizes Bo must know it's Stefano and remembers their talk in the garden when Bo told her what the thought of another man touching her does to him and how Stefano DiMera should die. She now agrees he's right about that. She wants Bo there so desperately and walks out of the chapel to find John. She cries and tells him she needs him and can he help her please. He tells her that he will always be there for as long as she needs him and comforts her in his arms.

11/10 In Ireland, while Bo remains tied to a tree, Jennifer handles a gunman in her van by flooring it, startling the gunman into dropping his weapon. Honking the car's horn, Jennifer gains the attention of Bo's captors. While they investigate the noise, Bo manages to free himself from the ropes and knocks the two thugs out. Jennifer drives the van and grabs Bo to rush back to her apartment for Abby. However, when they arrive, they find a gun-toting Declan already there.

Hope confronts John that he has known all along that Stefano was her baby’s father. She demands to know why he didn’t tell her. She admits that she fears Stefano might kidnap J.T.

11/13 Bo, Jennifer and Abby are making their get away in the jeep and Jennifer loses the car following them. She tells Bo that she isn't going back to Salem with him right now. The car finds them again and with her expert driving, she loses them again. But the jeep has a blowout and they wreck. It won't start and they decide to take off on foot. The car catches up with them they start shooting at the jeep, which catches fire. Bo helps Jennifer and Abby and they make it to Jenn's friend, Annie's place. They explain what is going on and tell her that Declan is trying to kill them. They pile on her boat as Declan shows up. Annie pulls a shotgun and fires it his way. As they take off, Jennifer apologizes to Annie, who in turn says that she is having the time of her life!

When Hope confides to John that she's planning to leave Salem and never come back, he declares she can’t take his son away from him! She, at first, thinks he means his namesake. He means that Johnny is HIS child. He tries to explain but Hope is in denial and tells him to stop it as she cries, “This can’t be!” She denies that they would have slept together. He explains it happened it Hawaii. She is horrified to realize that would have been during his honeymoon. He recaps Gina kidnapping him. At first she doesn't believe him and says this is all speculation. He then reveals that he had a DNA test done and it is a medical fact that he is JT’s father. He assures her that he is his son.

Hope is relieved that Stefano isn’t her baby’s father, but says that every time she looks at him, she will feel humiliated. She hopes she never remembers them sleeping together. John feels bad that there is nothing he can say or do to make things right. She asks him what he sees when he looks at her? He tells her he sees a friend who was used, abused and tormented by DiMera. She says all the things Stefano made her do, now she understands why Bo ran off. John tells her that Bo doesn't know that he is the father. The only one who knows is Marlena. He says that when Bo returns, they will tell him. Hope says, “NO! Bo must never know the truth! NEVER!” John looks on, shocked.

11/14 Making their getaway on Annie's boat, Jennifer admits to Bo that she misses Salem as well as her friends and family. Both worry when they notice how pale Annie looks. After Annie suggests they sail to New York, the wind picks up and Bo sends them below to prepare for a storm.

Hope stuns John by asking him how she compared in bed with Marlena? She claims that Bo would ask the same questions. John admits that his relationship with Marlena is in trouble because of what has happened and pushes her to tell Bo the truth.

11/16 On the boat with Abby, Annie and Bo, Jennifer explains to Bo that she can't go back to Salem because of her daughter. When the wind picks up, Jennifer is suddenly tossed overboard. Bo throws her a rope and asks Annie to help him pull her back to safety. Annie pops one pill and then another causing Bo to ask if she is okay. She hides the pills and then receives a call on her phone from Declan who warns that a huge storm is brewing. After Annie fails to tell Bo about the warning, Bo and Jennifer are worried when they see 10 foot swells approaching.

After the doctor gives her the good news that she can take JT home in a day or two, Hope finds Lexie and shares the good news. She thanks Lexie for saving her son's life.

11/21 Happy to be home with her baby, Hope is shocked when Shawn reveals that Roman thinks Brady deliberately hurt Belle. Hope explains to Marlena that she knows John's the father of her baby. Pointing out how Jack's selfishness ruined her marriage, Jennifer warns Bo about doing the same with Hope. Annie calls Declan to report that their scheme worked. She drills a hole in the boat and water starts pouring in. She later goes topside and collapses into Bo's arms, dead.

11/22 Hope and Marlena are in Doc's office. Hope cannot understand why Marlena did not tell her that John was the father of her child, not Stefano. They have a long, heartfelt discussion. Hope tells Marlena "Don't counsel me, just listen." She says Marlena is standing there like she is feeling nothing but Marlena is very much on the edge. They talk about not telling Bo that John is the father, and why. Marlena leaves.

Jen reads the letter from Annie, who says she knows this is her last adventure and that she is ill, and wants to be with her husband who was buried at sea. Down below, the boat is filling with water from the hole Annie drilled. Jen tells Abby about Annie dying, and they all have a small service, and bury Annie at sea. Declan calls on the mobile radio. Bo tells him about Annie, and Declan taunts Bo, saying that Annie died a patriot, but that he is just going to die, period. The boat begins to list, as Bo & Jen discover the hole in the keel, with no way to stop the water coming in.

11/27 Bo, Abby and Jennifer find a raft and jump off the ship. While in the life raft Abby begins to get scared and Jennifer tries singing to her to calm her. Bo shoots a flare into the air hoping someone will see it. Jennifer tells Bo to shoot another one so he does. Jennifer asks Bo how they will get to shore. Bo tells Jennifer they mustn't give up. Abby asks Bo to shoot another flare, but Bo realizes he has only one left. Just then Jennifer realizes the life raft is leaking. Bo suggests they jump into the water and stick together. They begin swimming to shore.

11/28 Bo, Jen and Abby are rescued and Brady rushed to the hospital.

At the Carver's, Lexie tries on her bridesmaid gown (long sleek black dress and looks lovely) while Hope tries on her wedding gown. Hope is anxious for Bo's return and to show him how much she loves him. Lexie asks when Marlena's gown will be fitted, but Hope tells her Marlena is busy and asks to change the subject. After the seamstress leaves, the gals hold their sons and Hope asks where Abe is? She's taken back when Lex tells her that Abe is out looking for John's son. Lexie hopes Abe finds Brady before he does any harm to himself or his family. She tells Hope she would kill anyone trying to hurt Isaac and Hope welcomes her to motherhood.

Jen, Abby and Bo float in the ever-so-calm sea. Bo shoots up the last flare. A flare is shot up in the air and Bo sees a large boat coming their way. He tells Jen and Abby to wave and get the boat's attention (lol as Bo and Jen wave UP to the ship calling for help while Abby smiles and waves at the camera). Onboard the NYC bound cruise ship, Doug and Julie make their way to the front of the crowd and surprised to see Jennifer and Abby, Bo is turned around talking to the captain. They call Jen's name and when Bo hears Jen say Julie and Doug, turns around himself. Julie is so shocked she passes out into Doug's arms.

Once the shock wears off, Bo & Jen offer a lame excuse as to how they landed in the Atlantic Ocean. They continue standing on deck with just blankets and a towel wrapped around their neck. Doug and Julie realize they aren't going to tell what really happened and find out the bottom line is that they're headed home for Salem. Bo borrows Julie's cellphone and calls Hope's cellphone. She fortunately has her phone with her and is happy to hear his voice. He tells her he called to tell her and his boys that he's heading home and bringing a big surprise.

Roman calls Lexie (who just got the good news that Bo was coming home) and tells her about Abe's shooting Brady and how Brady might be paralyzed. Lexie freezes at the news and drops the phone as Hope looks at her anxiously (this last scene cuts out abruptly).

12/1 Bo & Hope fans will not want to miss their fantasy sequence.

On the cruise ship, Doug and Julie are having dinner with the captain. Bo and Jennifer enter the room. (He in a tux and she in a mint green strapless sequined gown). The captain mentions something about the ship's boutique. They make small talk and the captain pays Jenn a compliment and she looks as if she is very uncomfortable. Doug told Bo that he was very disappointed in him for leaving Hope at home with the baby. Bo agrees with him and says that he is right and that he will never leave her again. Bo tells him about the baby almost dying, Doug and Julie didn't know that. He starts explaining why he left, telling him about when the baby was conceived while Hope thought she was Gina. They are interrupted before Bo can tell them anymore when Julie and Jenn return.

The captain returns and asks Jenn to dance. Bo prompts Doug & Julie to dance as well. As everyone dances, Bo starts at the spinning ball and has a fantasy of he and Hope dancing on the cruise ship dance floor all alone. This segues to the montage of them sailing. This is all set to the perfect song "There You Are". Beautiful scenes, Bo and Hope lovers should NOT miss this.

Hope and Alice are at Salem Place doing a little Christmas shopping. They sit to rest and Alice looks at the paper, reading the story about Abe and Brady. She is upset and will pray for both of them. Hope wonders how John is taking all this, especially after the ordeal with John Thomas. When Alice questions Hope, she changes the subject and tells her that Bo is coming home, with a BIG SURPRISE. Alice makes her feelings known that she is a little miffed about Bo's leaving and that bringing home a bunch of gifts is NOT going to make up for it. Later, the see Hattie milling around and at first think it's Marlena. Alice comments on how much she resembles her.

12/5 Julie calls Hope, who has Gran there with her and JT. She tells her they hired a car and will be there soon. Doug grabs the phone and tells her they have a few "surprises" for them, souvenirs they plucked out of the deep blue sea for them. Jen, Abby and Bo are giddy at the upcoming surprise. Doug comments there seem to be lots of secrets around and Bo assures him there are problems, but is evasive as to what they are. Doug and Julie are greeted with big hugs by Hope. Julie gets a big warm hug from Gran and Doug calls in the first surprise. Bo walks in and Hope jumps onto him and wraps her legs around his hips as they kiss. Doug calls for the second surprise and no one walks in. Julie says oh no and rushes out to find them.

Jen walks in with Abby to the delight of Gran and Hope. Jen softly tells Hope she needs her more than ever now. Hope asks Bo if this is the surprise he mentioned on the phone and he agrees. She tells him his trip was worthwhile now that he brought Jen and Abby home. Jen thanks Julie for convincing her to come home where she belongs. Bo grabs Hope and tells everyone they're taking a walk. Outside he apologizes for leaving her like he did and she assures him she's found out things too while he's gone and understands. He admits his life would be empty with her and his family which includes both of their sons. She doesn't tell him what, but knows what a sacrifice he's making and the two kiss.

12/6 While catching up, Hope lets Bo know that she is not angry with him for going to Ireland, in fact she admires the sacrifices he's made for her and their family. When Lexie arrives at Hope and Bo's, she's surprised to see that Jennifer is back home in Salem. Still acting like teenagers in love, they are upstairs in bed together having just made love while Doug, Julie, Jennifer, Lexie, and Alice are all downstairs. Bo picks up JT and he finally bonds with the baby. Later, Hope asks Jennifer to be one of her bridesmaids and Jennifer happily accepts.

12/7 Hope calls Shawn to come home from school for an important surprise. Shawn is afraid it's about JT. Shawn is thrilled to see his dad back at home where he needs to be. Bo thanks Shawn for being there for his mom and baby JT while he was gone. Bo is stunned to find out that JT has already been baptized. Hope and Shawn explain that JT was baptized early because they were afraid he wouldn't make it through his surgery.

While Bo and Hope were alone, Bo asks Hope if DiMera was at the christening, and reminds Hope that Bo is going to make Stefano pay for all the pain he has caused. Bo asks Hope when their wedding is going to be, before or after Christmas? Hope suggests celebrating the 12 days of Christmas. Shawn agrees, just as long as they don't do the New Year's Eve thing, "Having the bride pull a gun on me just isn't the fondest of memories." Hope has no clue what happened and demands an answer from Shawn. She insists on knowing who pulled a gun on him? Shawn said it was Princess Gina, while she was marrying Bo. Hope is stunned.

12/8 Hope is shocked and upset upon learning that Gina shot at Shawn. He assures her that he was okay and it is all forgotten. After he leaves, Bo and Hope talk, and she is upset about him not telling her. In fact, she wants to know everything. He tells her about that night and how Shawn suspected something was wrong all along and he became a target. (At least, we don't have to see flashbacks of Gina).

He apologizes for keeping it from her and she says that it's time to end all secrets between them. He starts talking about their upcoming wedding and promises to be a good father to JT. Again Hope says that she wants no secrets, even though Bo says sometimes there are good reasons not to be honest. But, she says that doesn't make it right. She has flashbacks of John telling her about the baby. Then she tells Bo that they need to talk openly and honestly about everything. To start with, she knows that he isn't JT's father.

12/12 Hope tells Bo again that she wants honesty and that it isn't good to keep secrets. She tells Bo that she knows that Bo isn't JT's father. She tells him that she started questioning it all due to the timing and knows that it is physically impossible. She suggests that they sit down. She tells him that she has loved him for so long that it kills her to even think that she could have been with anyone else. He means everything to her along with her sons. She then beats herself up over Princess Gina shooting Shawn and Bo comforts her, reminding her that wasn't her. He tells her that he wants to spend the rest of his life loving and protecting the three most important people to him, her, Shawn and JT. She thanks him for accepting JT as his own, even though they both know he is not.

She tells him that she and Marlena talked and that she forced Marlena into revealing information about her pregnancy. Bo gets furious with Marlena. Hope defends Marlena and tells him that there are things that he doesn't know. She says it's John's son. Bo asks why she is talking about Brady. Hope explains and says that Marlena is an emotional wreck because of other factors. She tells him that she knows the truth and it doesn't matter how she found out. Bo agrees and apologizes, saying that HE should have told her himself. He says that he always knew but didn't want to hurt her by telling but now he wants to be a family. He doesn't care who the father is. After all, he says the kid is half Horton and that's pretty good DNA, who cares who the other half is.

She asks him if he thinks Stefano is the father? Yes, that is what he believes and Hope assures him that he is not. Bo suggests that maybe she was programmed to be attracted to Stefano. But she is sure that Stefano is not the father. He then asks what about John? This catches Hope by surprise until Bo asks if John knows that Marlena told her. Hope says yes and Bo wants to know why she has discussed this with John. He says, "Tell me Hope, who does John think JT's father is?” Though he claims he doesn't care.

12/13 Hope admits talking to John about JT. Although she doesn't tell Bo that John is JT's father, she does assure him that John knows it's not Stefano. She tells him how John told her that he had an affair with the real Princess Gina 14 years ago. Bo inquires if John was sleeping with Princess Gina when Hope got pregnant? She remembers her earlier commitment to no more lies between them and simply answers that John was planning his wedding to Marlena, the love of his life, at that time. Bo accepts that answer, but comes unglued thinking that Hope's resemblance to Princess Gina is so close that John must feel something for her even after all these years.

The thought of him, or any other man, making love to Hope is unbearable. Stefano is a controlling monster and although an unbearable thought of his being with Hope, one he realizes was not out of passion. Hope tries to get the focus back on their upcoming wedding, but Bo asks her if JT isn't Stefano or John's son, who's is he? Hope just asks Bo to love JT as his own son and let it drop. He promises to raise JT as his son, but she wants more. She wants him to love JT for who he is and he promises to do that.

Hope asks him to watch JT while she runs out and he suggests bundling the baby up and they accompany her, but she shines it off saying JT is finally asleep. He figures she's going Christmas shopping and suggests a new motorcycle helmet, but she tells him it's something for the wedding and rushes out. She is anxious to see John and tell him he was right about not telling Bo the truth.

12/14 Hope arrives at the penthouse, continuously ringing the bell and pounding until Marlena answers the door. She demands to see John, alone. Marlena asks what she needs to tell John that she shouldn't hear. Hope agrees, she needs to speak with both of them and learns John is ìoutî. Marlena finally invites Hope in and Hope explains what she's there for. Marlena gets angry and jealous sounding prompting Hope to remind her that she loves Bo with all her heart and John is passionately in love with Marlena. They can't ignore the fact that John is the father of her son though. Hope tries to reassure Marlena that all she wants is to marry Bo and for them to raise their two sons together. She wants John and Marlena to be token aunt and uncle, period.

Marlena asks what Hope will say if Bo asks if John's JT's father. She states he has and she replied to him that John was planning his wedding to Marlena and on his honeymoon at the time she got pregnant. Marlena starts crying, remembering that and tells her she wasn't prepared for a discussion like this yet and has so many things going on in her head.

Marlena does not like secrets, but promised to not tell Bo the truth. She can't, however, say that for John whom she believes was on his way to tell Bo. Hope can't believe Marlena didn't tell her that when she got there. She calls home and tells Bo she's at Marlena's and they're trying to track John down. Bo tells her John's there, but JT starts fussing due to teething and Bo hangs up on her. Hope rushes out asking Marlena if she hates her that much to do this to her.

John is convinced Bo should know the truth as he knocks on Bo's front door. Bo lets him in and asks about Brady when JT whimpers. John rushes over, grabbing JT out of his bassinet and starts flying him around much to Bo's dismay. John sees JT now has a tooth that he missed out on and tells Bo he was there every day during Bo's absence.

Bo thanks him for that, but he's now home and can take care of his son as he takes JT from John's arms. Bo thanks John for his taking so much interest in his family, but tells him frankly he's overdoing it and both John's family and his would appreciate John spending less time there. John is about to tell Bo, but Bo tells him that this is what Dimera wanted, to divide and conquer. John agrees and changes the subject to Bo's trip to Ireland and what Bo found. Bo tells him some, but one day will go back to investigate further.

John gets upset at that and Bo finally tells him to take care of his son and he'll take care of his too. After hanging up with Hope above, Bo steps over to JT and tells John this little boy only needs one father. John smugly tells him that may be out of his hands, causing Bo to look up questioningly. Just as he's about to tell Bo the truth, Hope strides in, grabbing John's arm and pulling him to the door telling him to take his mercenary memories and get the hell out of her house. Don't come back until he can accept her and honor her family which is hers, not his and shuts the door on an amazed John. Bo watches as Hope walks over and picks up JT and asks what the hell that was all about?

12/15 After Hope puts JT to bed, Bo demands an explanation of what she did to John. Hope says that Marlena told her that John was going to do something that could destroy their lives and she had to stop him. Bo wants to know what and Hope lies and tells him that John was going to ask them to join him in destroying Stefano. Bo doesn't really believe it and tells her that John seems really concerned about her and JT and frankly they are none of his business. He is upset that John wants to be JT's second father. Hope questions him as to what John said and Bo explains. He tells her that John was about to tell him something else just as she charged in. Hope lies again and tells him that John wanted to talk about Stefano.

Hope changes the subject and tells Bo that she loves him and is so happy that he has accepted JT as his own and will raise him with the same love as Shawn. Bo tells her he feels guilty about not helping with the wedding, but she assures him that all is taken care of, thanks to Lexie. She says that the bridesmaids are wearing red and green (Huh? Didn't we see Lexie in a BLACK dress last week?). Jokingly, Bo asks if he has to dress as Santa Claus. Hope says only if she can jump in his lap and tell him what she wants for Christmas. They talk about the wedding some more and about how their love has survived through all their trials. He says that this time the vows will be filled with more meaning, experience and love than the first time and they kiss.

12/19 Hope arrives and shows Jennifer & Lexie, JT in his new baby tux. She surprises Lexie with a matching tux for Isaac and the ladies decide a baby fashion show is in order. Later both boys are in tuxes and Jennifer holds one, commenting on his eyes are just like Grandpa Tom's. Oops, wrong baby Jen, that's Isaac, Hope says. Jen apologizes, saying she doesn't know the boys that well yet. Hope announces Marlena can't be matron of honor anymore and it was a hard choice between the two of them as she loves them both. Lexie understands that Jen is Hope's cousin and should stand up for Hope. Jennifer accepts being the one to hold Hope's flowers, as long as she doesn't have to catch them.

Stefano knocks on Lexie's door and walks in greeting Hope and Jen, who hug each other in response. Stefano radiates at the fear in their eyes. He thinks the babies are adorable in their matching tuxes and Hope explains it's for the wedding. Before he can touch JT, Hope whips him out of the carrier and takes him upstairs to change him, with Jen following with the diaper bag.

Dvd #46B Lexie wished Stefano had called first, but he tells her he came to play Santa with lots of gifts in the car. He's disappointed she's not looking at him as her father rather than the enemy.

Hope changes JT and Jen tells her about her and Bo at the DiMera factory. Hope laughs at the image of Bo playing Jen's drunken husband and glad he brought her home with him. Lexie asks Stefano about Marlo's body again and he tells her to just enjoy Isaac and forget Marlo. As he hugs Lexie, Jen and Hope return and Stefano tells Lexie he'll return at a later time with the presents. Hope follows Stefano out front to talk with him. She warns him that she and John have been comparing notes from the past and for Stefano to stay away from her and her family. She goes back inside and Stefano chuckles, throws his coat over his shoulder and says "too late".

Hope returns inside and Lexie gets a phone call. As Hope plays with the baby, Jen and Lexie exchange glances as they mention to Hope they know she and Bo have an evening alone planned and she better go (they are planning a surprise couples shower). The girls are so giddy that Hope gets curious, but doesn't let on.

12/20 Nearly all the rest of the Salemites are at Tuscany, dressed to the nines. Bo & Hope arrive and Maggie shows them to their table. They decide to dance first, all alone on the dance floor. Maggie comes to claim Hope with an excuse, then leaves her alone. A door opens and all the ladies yell SURPRISE! A bridal shower. Meanwhile, Maggie tells Bo that Hope needs her makeup kit out in the car but he starts to leave with a puzzled expression as Roman & Abe grab him and whisk him off to another room. Yep, bachelor party!

Bo is gifted with all sorts of gag things, cigars are passed around, Philip nearly chokes on his to Shawn's amusement. Bo gets one of those silly hats with a beer can on each side with tube running down to his mouth. Meanwhile, Hope gets all the sexy lingerie one could want, and a lovely chapeau made from all the bows. The gals and guys join up and everyone is having a marvelous time. Bo & Hope, wearing their silly hats, kiss, and then pose for Abby, who is taking pictures. Abby roams the room, snapping some wonderful shots of the various guests.

As Bo & Hope dance, she signals Julie, who brings out JT. Bo is delighted and grabs him as he brags about how great his wonderful boy is. John is out in the hall and says, “No, everyone has to know he is MY boy.”

12/21 Marlena arrives in time to hear Hope ask John to "deny his son." Marlena asks John if he's capable of doing that. He responds by asking her to come home but she insists that she needs time apart from him. Talking to Shawn about his trip, Bo warns him that he's not finished which upsets Shawn. Bo asks him what secrets he's hiding but Shawn won't talk. John orders Roman to go outside where he accuses him of being in love with Marlena. John then updates Marlena on the confrontation but can't convince her to come home.

The bridal shower/bachelor party is in full swing at Tuscany. Hope's nervous when she spots John as he arrives at the party. Hope tries to talk to John, but he is really snippy with her. She tells him to just step away and deny his son. Marlena walks up and hears this and after Hope leaves, asks him if he can do what Hope asked?

Bo and popShawn talk about his trip to Ireland. Bo tells him that he isn't finished there, to which popShawn gets upset. Bo tells him that he thinks he may be responsible for what happened to him while there. He wants to know what secrets he is hiding?

Hope and Bo see John, Marlena and Roman head outside together and she wonders if Bo should go out too, but they decide not. Later, Bo and Roman talk and Bo tells him that he would be happier if John would stay away and how he is always "hovering" around JT. Maggie leads off the a group of guests dancing a conga line to a sexy version of “Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer”. Everyone begins joining in, and Bo & Hope moving to the rhythm on the side. Jen rushes over to an observing Bo and Hope and makes them join in. Everyone is having a great time, Bo and Hope dance.

12/22 It's Christmas Eve Day in Salem, the day of Bo and Hope's wedding. Bo is spending some time with JT when Hope comes down and announces that they can't get married. He asks her if she is crazy? She explains that the groom isn't supposed to see the bride the day of the wedding. She is kidding of course. He follows suite and says that they will just call it off. As they laugh, he reminds her that they are already married. They laugh about it being the third time for them to get married and he tells JT that he would marry his mommy 1,000 times. Hope tells him to forget it, this is the LAST time.

She puts JT down as Bo gives her an update on how things are progressing in the back yard for the reception. She talks about how she missed Christmas last year and gets sad, but Bo assures her that they are making up for it this year. Bo assures Hope that this will be the best holiday of all. They hang the stockings and talk about the baby and she tells Bo that she is so happy as they share a tender moment and kiss. Later, Hope is all excited, rushing around telling Bo she has so much to do today. Bo teases her and tells her that there is only one way to shut him up as he pulls out the mistletoe and they kiss in front of the Christmas tree.

12/26 The Horton family arrives at Alice's house to finish putting the family ornaments on the tree and for Bo and Hope's wedding. Alice imagines talking with Tom as the family members place their special ornaments on the tree. Rushing to the limo for the ride to the church, Jennifer and Julie help Hope get ready for the wedding.

During the ride, the three women run through an assortment of troubles, a stop at the Burger Barn for a bite to eat and eventually picking up a stranded Abe and Lexie to get them to the church on time (they had a flat tire en route). Bo and Shawn play some one-on-one basketball at Alice's place to relax before the big event. They finally arrive at the church where Abe enters and urges the gathered crowd to give the wedding party a bit of time to compose themselves before starting the wedding.

12/27 Inside the church, Roman and Abe realize they can't find the ring and start a big search while a nervous Bo waits. Father Jansen insists that the wedding begin because of the crowd waiting for midnight mass. When it does start, Bo emerges, holding J.T. Doug escorts Hope down the aisle and jokingly asks them to make sure this is the last time they tie the knot. The two exchange their vows and are married.

12/28 The reception gets underway in Bo and Hope's back yard. Roman offers the first toast to Bo and Hope and encourages them to dwell in the love that they share, as do others at the reception. Hope takes John aside and thanks him for her son. As she kisses him on the cheek, Marlena spots them. Later, Bo asks Marlena why she told Hope that he isn't J.T.'s father. He starts to blame her for past troubles but is curious when she hints that J.T.'s caused her own grief. She quickly covers and doesn't let on that John is the boy's father.

1/2 Hope gives her bouquet to Alice after explaining she promised Jennifer she wouldn't throw it to her. Hope then goes on to thank Alice for all she has taught her since she was a little girl. Jennifer and the others are touched by Hope's gentle words. Shawn asks Bo for his pick axe and heads to the ice followed by a curious Abe and Lexie.

At Bo & Hope’s reception, guests are dancing to Run Run Rudolph and having a ball. Shawn and Belle return to the reception still wearing their ice skates. Shawn accidentally mentions the fact that his mom and dad were married without all the pomp and circumstances to his grandparents and yells across the room to his parents he's revealing their big family secret. Bo and Hope give the "deer in the headlights" look fearing what they consider the big family secret (JT). He mentions it concerns his little brother and then how they got married in the delivery room. The grandparents remember being evicted and everyone laughs as Bo mentions it wasn't a photo op time then.

The cake cutting begins and both Bo and Hope grab a handful. She dares him not to do it as he holds cake in his hand. Bo remembers his father saying to always be a gentlemen, but also that he has to defend himself. She teases him, but puts the cake in front of his mouth and he does the same, getting a little icing on her nose. Hope does the same to Alice and laughs. Gran whispers to Hope that she thought she was going to throw her bouquet to Jen.

Hope tells her that she promised Jen she wouldn't throw the bouquet to her, so is breaking tradition and gives it to Gran. She tells Gran how she taught her to say I love you at an early age, what different flowers meant, etc. She knows that even back then Gran was preparing her for this big day. Because of Gran, Hope is able to tell her husband she loves him and did learn her lesson years ago. Everyone applauds.

Bo gets ready to throw the garter and fetches it from Hope's thigh with his teeth. Shawn D. catches it, but quickly tosses it to Roman and walks away. Shawn asks Bo for his pick axe and tells him there's a mystery out in the canal. Bo & Hope dance to their song, “Tonight I Celebrate My Love”. He hopes it's their last dance and she whispers in his ear. Alone they remember their wonderful day. He tosses some rose petals on the floor and he asks if she's Hope-less Love and he carries her off.

1/3 Shawn starts chipping away at the ice to retrieve a can only to find a hand clutching it. Belle screams. Shawn chopping the ice and discovery of Marlo's body. Bo & Hope hear the commotion and screams and Bo goes to investigate. Abe, Bo and Lexie mention there is no way to tell if the victim is male or female, and Abe calls the police station to report the discovery and request an investigative team. He is told someone "on active duty" has to authorize this, and Bo takes the phone to do so.

Bo picks Hope up and is just about ready to take her inside when they hear screaming from the ice. He tells her to stay with JT while he runs out to investigate. He joins the group to see the body in the ice. Belle is cold, so Shawn takes her up to the tent to warm up. They find Hope cuddling JT, who is still wearing the tux and tell her about finding the body. Later, Belle and Hope drinking hot chocolate in the kitchen and talking about ice-skating. Belle tells her how they were all having so much fun with the wedding and the skating and then things change so fast. She then compares this to Brady, and talks about him and his accident, and how it changed things.

Belle confides to Hope, how much she cared about Brady, and the special relationship they have, which she always kept rather private. She tells Hope about Marlena and how she treats Brady. Hope is surprised at this, but gives Belle a pep talk and comforts her. Hope knows that Marlena is dealing with other issues as well, but can't tell Belle what they are.

Abe and Lexie come in, saying the coroner has arrived, and is waiting for forensics. Abe mentions to Bo about the legs of the body, as they both agree it looked as if something was tied to one of them. Lexie flashes back to seeing Marlo dead on the floor at Stefano's, and questioning her father about his disposal of it. She has a frightened look on her face.

1/4 Hope and Bo head to their bedroom where they prepare to make love. He assures her that the appearance of a dead body during their wedding reception is not an omen.

1/8 Lexie showed up and wanted to see Stefano privately. They went into the study, and she was furious with him. She demanded to know what had happened to Marlo. He was in the dark, so she told him about the body as she cried hysterically and showed him the paper. She was angry that she had followed his advice and felt she should have followed her own instincts and gone to the cops in the first place. She was terrified that she would end up losing Isaac.

Stefano blurted out that Isaac wasn't Marlo's child. He covered to a stunned Lexie by saying that Isaac was her child. He told her not to worry; he would take care of everything. After finding out all the details, he promised to help her under one condition: she finally gave in and admitted that she was a true DiMera. She promised to make him a part of her and Isaac's lives then hugged and thanked him. After she left, Stefano yelled down to the basement for Rolf, telling him they had a body to steal.

1/10 Hope arrived at Lexie’s with J.T. Hope was dying to talk about her honeymoon and called Jennifer to join them. However, Hope could not contain herself and excitedly told Lexie how romantic it had been and how wonderful Bo had been, especially ever since he had accepted J.T. as his son. Lexie questioned her about that, and Hope made excuses, but Lexie was not buying it.

The subject of the body arose, and Hope and Lexie discussed various scenarios: accident, murder, or something else. Hope said that Bo was confident that forensics would tell them what they wanted to know, who she was and how she died. Lexie began to panic, and she abruptly left and asked Hope to take care of Isaac. Outside, she said something absolutely had to be done and took off. Inside, Hope had Isaac on her lap and was playing with him, telling him how lucky his parents were to have him and how perfect he was.

1/11 Hope returns home with JT and gasps as she opens the door. Bo is in black pj's and has candles lit around the living room. He explains they are still on their honeymoon. She shows him her NEW shoes (he replies MORE shoes, LOL). JT fusses, so she rushes up to change him. She comes down in a satin negligee and he tells her it's prettier now than in the store when he bought it.

They toast and kiss as he tells her he did the laundry and emptied the dishwasher! She sounds like if he cleaned the bathroom she would follow him anywhere, but the phone rings. He can't stand it ringing and they kiss their way to it, haha. It's Shawn. Hope won't stop kissing Bo as he has to move the phone from one ear to the other. Shawn asks if he can stay somewhere a little longer and Bo tells him no problem as he hangs up and carries Hope to the couch.

Later, Hope runs out back and Bo follows. Everything's perfect for them, but she'd like the mystery of the woman found in their "cozy little backyard" during their backyard solved. Bo just wants to get back to the "business of the day", and on cue, the phone rings. He wants to ignore it this time, but she tells him it might be Shawn. Nope, it's John. He tells Bo that he knows Hope took JT to the Dr. today and wants to know how it went. Bo chews into John about how they didn't report back to him on that and John explains he was just giving them the space they requested.

Bo tells him JT is okay and hangs up as Hope comes inside. They talk about John's being so concerned about JT. Bo wonders if John doesn’t trust him to be a good father? Hope excuses that John is just concerned as he has bonded with the baby, who is after all his name sake. Bo explains he's trying to make up for lost time even though JT isn't really his son. She tells him to never say that again and he agrees and hugs her. After hanging up, John knows he's responsible for a good part of what for Brady is going through downstairs, but will be there for his other son!

1/15 Lexie shows up at Daddy Dearest's, furious with him over what she has done. He makes light of it and tries to assure her that she is only acting as a mother protecting her child. She tells him that she is now an accessory to murder. She breaks down and tells him how she manipulated Roman and Abe and the whole department. He tells her not to worry, for there is no body to identify now. He lifts the sheet and shows her Marlo's body, telling her that Marlo has come home and Lexi screams.

Now Lexie is even more upset at him. She talks about how suspicious it is that the body is missing and how they will look even harder to solve the case. She tells him that he blew it that she had already taken care of it, and now they weren’t going to forget that her body was stolen and this will raise their suspicion and now they will try even harder to figure out who the Jane Doe was.

1/18 Bo and Hope take JT to the doctors. Hope is happy that Bo came so they can go as a family. The doctor is so pleased with JT's progress that he's starting to feel that maybe JT's problem isn't due to FAS, but maybe due to a congenital heart problem or something else. He tells Bo that Hope's persistence, love and attention, they might be looking at something completely different. The doctor says to come back in two weeks and Bo wants to celebrate with them.

They head to Salem Place to show off the cute little guy. Two woman rush up and gush over JT as Bo acts like a proud papa. Hope tells him she loves him and is so happy. Bo buys a newspaper and reads some of the story about Marlo. The new morning edition arrives and they read about the body's disappearance. Not letting it ruin their good mood over JT's prognosis, they wheel off to get a cappuccino.

1/23 Hope receives tickets and an invitation for her and Bo to attend Greta's coronation. Roman sadly admits to Bo that Brady intends to sue him for the shooting and explains that he was wrong to go after Brady. Bo turns to Hope and asks her to stop Brady from suing Roman by talking with John. She agrees and mentions she'll do it on the flight to Paris. Bo's not happy that John will be with them but eventually comes around for Roman's sake.

1/24 The plane for Paris is loaded with Salemites invited to the coronation. Hope, the worrying mother, is once again trying to contact Caroline for the third time to inquire about JT. Victor tells Hope that though they have had problems in the past, he hopes to put the past behind them and make a new beginning. He looks forward to getting pictures of his new grandchild. Stefano makes a small speech reminding everyone the big part he played in saving JT and helping Hope (he means in the turret).

1/25 On the flight to Paris when John innocently asks how J.T. is, Bo asks him to stay away from his family. John reminds him that he was there for Hope when she needed a husband, causing Bo to apologize for his outburst.

1/31 Bo and Hope got ready to leave for dinner, and Hope had uneasy feelings about being in Paris, which was Princess Gina's home. He mentioned J.T., and Hope told him that as far as the father of J.T. was concerned, for her it was Bo, and she did not want to know any more than that. They embraced, and Bo told her the past as Gina was over, and the two of them would make new memories.

Bo and Hope joined John and Marlena outside the restaurant and exchanged a few pleasantries, and Hope heard music. Marlena said it was emanating from the open restaurant window, and Hope remarked how familiar it sounded. She turned around and said, "I've been on this corner before and listening to that music."

2/1 Hope remembers being on that corner and hearing that music with Bo. She remembers dancing with him on the street and feels their love would always prevail, not even Stefano's mind control could block it. John and Marlena step inside the restaurant to give the newlyweds some privacy. Hope and Bo talk about JT and how proud of him they are. She tells him JT will be in their hearts and lives forever. Bo agrees and they hug.

Bo and Hope join John and Marlena and realize they have interrupted a deep conversation. They offer to give John & Marlena some time alone, but they insist Bo and Hope sit down and join them. They talk about how Jen's joining them in Paris to change the subject and start talking about JT. Bo goes on and on about JT which drives John to drive something into his thumb as he patience wears thin as he and Marlena exchanges looks. Hope notices and interrupts. She mentions the good news about JT maybe not having Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and John tears up hearing about that. They finally stop and order dinner, but Bo wonders what's up with John.

2/6 Bo, Hope and Shawn arrive and approach to be announced and Bo gives his invitation to the greeter. The greeter compliments Hope as to how beautiful she is and announces Bo and Shawn Brady and Princess Gina Van Amberg. Everyone looks shocked, including the Brady's Bo suggests to an embarrassed Hope that they leave as everyone gasps. Hope remains steadfast and announces to the room that Princess Gina has passed on and they just look alike. She identifies herself and the Bradys walk into the room.

John asks why people are looking at Hope? They tell him how she was announced and Hope figures it might help stir some Princess Gina memories. John tells her to leave those memories in the past where they belong. Bo understands and John asks how so. Bo tells him he knows that John's gone through the same Stefano trauma as Hope has. Bo apologizes to John for his actions about JT and realizes he was just helping Hope. Hope interrupts telling Bo saying she wants to dance and glances at John from the ballroom floor.

Bo and Hope are waltzing and having a grand time when she gets a little dizzy and has a flashback of a former time when dancing in a white gown with someone. Bo tells her she's remembering (this scene cuts off abruptly at the end just before credits roll but nothing is missing).

2/7 Hope tells Bo how she remembers dancing with a man in a similar situation, wearing a white dress. Bo tells her it is all in the past, and they are living for now. John overhears this conversation. Later, Bo tells John he realizes that John was just trying to be there for Hope when Bo wasn't, and he has no hard feelings. Bo invites John to dance with Hope. John is hesitant but Hope grabs his hand and they go out to the ballroom.

John and Hope discuss JT, and Hope tells him how well JT is doing. She continues that she understands the sacrifice he is making. He tells her she does not, and that JT’s conception was out of passion, love and lust between Princess Gina and her mercenary. He tells her he would never tell anyone else, only Marlena knows. Hope thanks him for everything, she kisses him on the cheek. They hear "Guess this is what I get for being late" and turn to find Marlena, who then makes a few sarcastic remarks.

Greta makes her entrance, and Austin accompanies her on the "Royal Walk" between the separated throngs of guests. Jennifer arrives, and meets up with Bo and Hope. The gals exchange compliments on how they look, and a good-looking man asks Jen to dance.

2/8 Hope and Lexie meet up again and they talk. Hope admires Lexie's jewelry and notices Lexie's not herself tonight. Lexie wishes her father and Abe could get along better and is distraught. Stefano joins them and assures his daughter everything will be fine and to trust him. She tells him she does as Hope glares at Stefano. She pulls Lexie aside and is told Lexie is just nervous about her baby. She assures Lexie the baby is fine with Abe and Celeste. She warns Lexie not to trust Stefano.

2/12 The show opens with everyone making their donations for the orphans. John and Marlena, Bo and Hope drop a check in the collection container. Bo and Hope dance as Hope sees Jen alone and Bo encourages her to go and talk with her.

2/13 Austin places the crown on Greta’s head as Kate stumbles in and tries one last attempt to get Vincent to call it off. Charles has Greta in his sites and fires three shots. The first one missed, but the other two were right to the chest area and down she goes as everyone begins to scream and hit the floor. He fires another and takes out Ingrid. Then they open fire. One of them shoots Victor in the back. He turns and takes another bullet to the chest and down he goes as Kate gasps and Nicole crawls over to him. Sal turns to shoot Brandon, but Angela sees him and covers Brandon with her body and takes the bullet in the back and down they go.

John dives on Marlena to cover her and is crawling across the floor screaming for Belle. Charles steps out from behind the curtains and opens fire on the crowd. Sami says something about getting the tape and takes off across the room on the heels of Lord and Lady Sheraton. Down goes Sami. Two security guys open fire towards the air vent and they are both shot. Another guy is riddled with bullets. Shawn and Mimi go down. Stefano and Lexie go down as well. It is hard to tell who is being shot and who is diving for cover. John picks something up and throws it in the direction of one of the hitmen and he is shot in the chest. Marlena screams for Belle with blood splattered all over her face and hands.

2/13 Bo and Hope are toasting wine glasses at a café near the coronation. Bo spots Jen and Hope sees she's with Jack, sitting across the café. Hope suggests they stay hidden and that Bo tip the waiter to play a song, hoping to reunite J&J.

One of the royal guests stumbles bleeding into the café, asking for help. Jack, Jen, Bo and Hope rush up to help the man and he tells them terrorists struck at the coronation and it looks like a battlefield. Hope gasps, worried about Shawn. After the shooting finally stops, the ballroom is covered with wounded, screaming party goers.

The results of the assassination attempt is discovered: Victor, Greta and Mimi are all seriously wounded. John is wounded but hides it as he goes into mercenary/doctor mode until he collapses and Stefano rushes to his aid. Kate angrily confronts Vincent and blasts him for lying to her. He insists that Sami, Brandon and Victor were his only targets.

2/14 Shawn is unconscious, but has not been struck by bullets. Shawn is being carried out on a stretcher, but comes to and gets up. Belle and Chloe have their arms around each other, watching the medics work on Mimi. Stefano watches John pass out. Stefano then sees his wound and realizes he has been hiding that he was shot as he was helping other victims. He calls out for Lexie over, who says John has no pulse.

2/15 Bo & Hope arrive at the hospital and Kate tells Bo about Victor being shot. Bo says as soon as he finds Shawn D., he will help her locate Victor. Bo & Hope find Sean and are so relieved to see that their blood covered son is okay. He tells them about the shooting, hitting his head and waking up covered in blood. Marlena enters and Belle rushes into her arms. Hope shakily asks Marlena, “What about John?” Marlena tells her about John's heroic actions that saved many people.

Shawn asks about Victor, he heard he was shot. Bo says yes he was and he leaves to make some calls to try to find out where he is. Bo returns and tells them that there is no word on where Victor was taken. Marlena returns with a shaken look on her face, and Belle knows something is wrong. She tells Belle that she spoke with Mimi’s doctor. Belle knows by the look on her mother’s face it isn’t good news. She starts crying and once again finds comfort in her mother’s arms.
