Bo & Hope #58 April 29 - July 29, 2004: 8 hour original edit
DVD #58A As Mickey was brought in, Bo said, "Okay, Marlena. Murder Number 3. Maggie Horton." Admitting to Maggie's murder, Marlena said, "It was just so easy. You know Maggie, she is pretty gullible. It was like leading a lamb to the slaughter." Hearing her mother say those words Sami wept. Bo asked about Maggie's therapy.
Maggie had repressed the memory of seeing Marlena's eyes at the scene of Abe's murder. "The eyes tell everything. They are the window to the soul. I knew I had to finish the job." Marlena congratulated herself on her choice of the liquor bottle as a weapon, calling it "inspired." A stunned Hope repeatedly wondered aloud about Marlena's motives. And as the last of the sodium pentathlon dripped through her intravenous, The Salem Serial Killer smiled maniacally.
4/30 Family members waited their turn to witness Marlena's confessions at University Hospital. Grandpa Shawn arrived believing his former daughter-in-law was incapable of murder. But Marlena admitted to poisoning Caroline after Maggie shared suspicions with her. "I was especially proud of Caroline's murder," she bragged. Grandpa Shawn hung his head in sorrow as Marlena called the corpse-filled casket she'd sent a "brilliant touch, a nice flare to an otherwise dull and boring funeral" for Abe, Jack and Maggie.
Marlena recounted putting a drug in Caroline's tea at the Pub when she was distracted by Bo. Ironically, it was the drug Marlena had prescribed for Maggie's stress. Knowing she would resist taking it all, Marlena stole what remained after killing Maggie. "It was all very simple," as Marlena detailed her expertise as a doctor. Recalling sending the PDA message to Bo, she said, "All I had to do was play the grieving and concerned family friend. And watch while tragedy struck."
An emotional Bo maintained his composure at Marlena's bedside as he listened to the details of his mother's murder. But concerned for his father's health, Bo sent the Elder Shawn Brady away. His father agreed, requesting, "You make Roman proud 'cause nothing meant more to him than seeing justice done."
Addressing his wife's killer Shawn said, "My Caroline never hurt a soul. She loved you, Marlena. And how did you repay her? And my son Roman? He was a saint. He didn't deserve the likes of you." Nervously, John loosened his tie saying Marlena wasn't the woman they knew or that Roman loved. Quietly, the Elder Brady replied, "She had them all fooled, but not anymore. After her well-deserved execution, I hope she roasts in Hell."
Rex arrived identifying himself as a Brady, requesting news on Cassie's death. Waiting for the details Kate asked, "If you killed my daughter, Cassie, what's to stop me from killing your daughter, Sami?" Since a trial was waived, Marlena's questioning was a legal proceeding, so Hope warned Kate that her remark could be held against her. Marlena spoke of being very upset that Rex and Cassie were Kate's children. "Kate had Roman, and she had the twins. They didn't even want her. I was very angry with Kate about that."
Asked why she didn't kill Kate, Marlena called herself "careful and methodical. I only kill people who could incriminate me." She played along with Cassie's plan to go to the police. Recalling the piñata, Marlena nearly laughed saying, "She wasn't smart enough to outfox me. Turns out the little fox became a big turkey." While Kate was nearly convicted for the murder, Marlena's alibi was spending Thanksgiving at Green Mountain Lodge with John. Kate screamed as Marlena turned to Kate saying, "I could go on planning my next murder, Roman Brady."
In Marlena's room, John asked why she ate the poisoned dip at Caroline's wake. Nearly dying, Marlena said she'd almost outsmarted herself. But once she was saved, she realized that she would look innocent. "I realized I could become the most famous serial killer of all time, a heady goal but I was determined to achieve it." Silent emotion filled the faces of John, Bo, Hope and Belle.
Bo now questioned Marlena about the murder of his brother. Admitting to it, she said "Roman was my ex-husband, so it just seemed fitting that I choose his wedding day to kill him." She had infused animal blood into the wedding cake as a warning in hopes that Roman would leave Kate. "But once he committed to marry her, I didn't have any choice but to make sure he never went on a honeymoon."
After attacking him, Marlena told Roman, "If the knife wounds don't kill you, you can choke on the symbol of your love." Without remorse, she recalled, "I pushed the bride and groom down his throat until he stopped breathing. That's when I knew he was dead." A composed Commander Brady now pushed a tear from his face, as Sami cried, "God, Mom, it can't be true." Bo vowed that Marlena would pay with her life.
John helplessly wondered, "How am I going to save you now, Doc?" Marlena stared motionless on the bed as Sami ran to her screaming, "Why? Why would you kill Daddy? Why?"
5/3 Sami, in disbelief, asks why Marlena killed Roman? Marlena tells everyone that unlike the others, Roman did not know a thing. She finally gets to her motive, which is her love for Roman. While jaws drop, Sami puts everyone's thoughts into words and says, "That doesn't make sense!"
Marlena goes on to explain that just as Roman fell out of love with her and in love with Kate that Marlena fell back in love with him. She informs the room that "If I couldn't have him, I couldn't let someone else have him."
She further explains that Abe was the first victim because he was actively trying to keep Marlena from getting back together with Roman. A giggly Marlena says it was, "Fun while it lasted" which prompts Hope to call her a monster. Sami counters that the monsters are the people who wouldn't let her parents get back together.
Julie arrives and Marlena starts to tell everyone that Doug's death was the most slow and painful. Julie calls Marlena a murdering bitch and then gives one of her patented strangling moves. When things calm down, Marlena laughs about pressing charges against Julie. She then goes on to thank Belle for lying about her alibi for Doug's killing but tells her that Doug and Julie are the ones responsible for Alice's death. She explains that because Julie told her about the pact she had with Doug to leave a message, Marlena knew to look for one.
Feeling guilty, Julie listens to Marlena explain that thanks to the usual Salem P.D. work, Doug's note was left behind until Alice found it. Then Marlena tells John, Belle, and Brady that, "This is me. This is the real me." A stoic John tells Marlena that he still loves her and doesn't think she is capable of all this killing. Smirking, Marlena wounds John by telling him that she doesn't love John and that she is in fact the killer.
After a short break, Marlena tells the crowd that Tony's death was her "finest moment" and details the logistics. Jan, disguised as a nurse enters and tells the group she is there to administer more truth serum. Before Jan can execute this plan to inject air into her vein to cause an embolism, John and Bo tell her that the truth serum isn't needed and sends Jan away. Philip comforts Belle much to Shawn's dismay. Hope tells Shawn to go to her but he announces his intention to leave town as soon as possible.
5/4 At University Hospital, Bo interrogated Marlena about Victor's death. When Marlena denied killing Victor, John recalled Victor's words to look no further than Nicole in the event of his death. Needing more evidence, Bo asked, "Marlena, can you tell me who killed my father?" As Lexie interrupted to check Marlena's vitals, citing the possibility of cardiac arrest. Bo angrily disregarded concern for a confessed murderer's health as Marlena began to gasp for breath.
Summoning Nicole, Bo accused Brady of defending her. Asking Marlena for any information that could incriminate Nicole, Marlena recalled meeting Nicole and Jan outside Belle's. "Yes, I believe there was an accomplice to Victor's murder." Bo asked Marlena, "Are you saying you saw the person who murdered my father?" Facing a frightened Nicole, Marlena answered, "Yes, I know who it was.” Shawn refused Hope's advice to speak to Belle, announcing he was leaving Salem tonight.
5/5 Marlena is really confused when Bo continuously pressures her about Victor's murder. She simply can not remember as the truth serum has begun to wear off. She repeats that she keeps seeing Nicole's face but there is nothing more she can tell them about why or who may be involved. Judge Fitzpatrick says since there is nothing more they can do, it was time to wrap things up and asked Marlena to sign the confessions. Marlena is then taking into custody and taken to jail.
5/6 At the Brady’s, Hope found Shawn in the garage ready to leave Salem. Hope tried to convince her son that leaving Salem was a mistake, begging him to at least wait for Bo to come home. Shawn told Hope that it was over with Belle. Asking Shawn to put himself in Belle's place, Hope told her son he had abandoned Belle when she needed him most.
5/11 At the County Jail, Bo found Marlena missing. Believing her, Bo stunned Hope as he put out a "shoot to kill" order. Hope argued that he would regret being responsible for Marlena's death. Bo stunned his wife, saying, "The law prescribes a punishment for what she's done. It's the Death Chamber. So, whether she dies tonight or in the Death Chamber, the end result is the same. She's dead. And as far as I'm concerned, the sooner that happens the better!" Determined to stop the serial killer "by any means necessary", Bo was furious to learn John had been advised about the situation.
5/12 On the roof of the jail as sirens blare, bright lights from helicopters sought Marlena. Another chopper armed with a S.W.A.T. sharpshooter was aiming his high-powered rifle at Marlena. Through the cross-hairs of the scope, the officer waited for a clear shot. Marlena had found the gun that Crystal had beaten her with, and picked it up for some reason. With the gun in her hand, she used it to shield her eyes from the bright lights of the helicopter but once the officers saw she was armed, they relayed to Bo on the radio that fact and also that she was taking a defensive stance against them.
John and Bo had been fighting over the shoot to kill order but Bo was adamant that Marlena would not kill any more officers or people. Tussling back and forth, Hope had to separate them several times as John became more enraged, yet pleaded with Bo to back the chopper off. John begged Bo to let him go to Marlena and talk to her. When Bo said no, John shoved him and took off for the roof. Hope grabbed Bo and begged him to let John go and try to reach Marlena. When John got to the roof the door was locked and Marlena could hear him calling her name through the door, telling her he was coming; to hold on.
Marlena cried out for somebody please to let her surrender, but with her still holding the gun, there was no chance for surrender. She was terrified and was crying, calling out that she was sorry and didn't mean to hurt anyone and that she just wanted to live for her children. Begging them not to kill her, she continued to run and hide behind duct work, as the shots kept missing her, John kept calling out to her and the whole scene was covered on live television.
As John finally broke through the door, Bo ordered all officers to hold their fire, but the message was mis-interpreted by the team in the police chopper and understood the command to be "Fire!." With the gun still in her hand, Marlena finally sees John coming toward her but he tells her to stay put. She just wanted to get to him and stepped out from behind the duct units just as the sharpshooter had a perfect shot with the cross hairs on her chest. In the blinding light of the helicopter, the shot was fired, directly into her chest as she collapsed into John's arms and he screamed, "No!!! No!!!!."
5/13 Bo angrily radioed hovering copters questioning why his "hold fire" order was ignored. When Lexie arrived, John assured Marlena she would be all right. But Marlena replied, "No, I'm dying." Lexie determined Marlena's punctured heart was bleeding into her lungs. In an effort to help, Bo was maintaining compressions on Marlena's chest. But when he chased reporters away from the scene, Marlena gasped, “Wait, there's something I want to say to the people I love."
As her pulse grew weak and irregular, Marlena addressed family and friends. As Hope took her hand, Marlena said there were no words to express her sorrow and regret for the suffering she'd caused. "I wish I could undo everything, but I can’t even by dying." Addressing Bo, she said, "I take full responsibility for that. And I know even that won't ease the pain."
As John assured her she wasn't dying, Marlena told him, "No, it's too late." Sobbing, she asked him to, "take care of my children and my family. I love them. I love my family. And you. I love you." Gasping for her last words to John, she said, “Promise me you won't spend your life grieving. Promise me that you will love again and that you'll find happiness again."
As he begged Marlena, "breathe for me," Lexie declared Marlena was gone. John blamed Bo's "shoot to kill" order for Marlena's death. While Hope explained that Bo's cease-fire order was never heard, John was not satisfied. Taking full responsibility, Bo stood fast saying he was doing his job.
"You wanted her dead, and now she is," was John's furious answer. Bo later added, "for what it's worth, I'm sorry for you loss."
Refusing to release Marlena to the Coroner, John said, "No one's touching my wife." Picking up her lifeless body, he said, "Don't worry, Doc. I'm taking you somewhere where no one can ever hurt you again."
5/14 A devastated John placed Marlena's body before the altar at St. Luke's. Following him to St. Luke's, Hope called asking Belle to come to St. Luke's. Concerned for John, Hope then told Bo, "I hope she gets here soon." Bo and Hope watched in stunned silence as John spoke to Marlena, "I'm so sorry, Baby. I promised you, but I failed you. And for that, I will never forgive myself."
Arriving at St. Luke's, Sami was quick to accuse Bo of cold-blooded murder and promised he would pay for it. Sami remarked that Roman could have prevented Marlena's death if he were alive, leaving Bo to wonder if that were true. Bo said to Hope, "It's over. This is all over. Now we can start to heal, get on with our lives."
Celeste sees a vision of Marlena. She asks her, "What is it? Why have you come back?" A frighteningly somber Marlena answered, "I've come to warn you, Celeste. The danger is not over. The suffering has not ended. More people will die. You must prepare yourself. You must prepare everyone. Because everyone in Salem is going to die."
5/17 A still vengeful Sami blames Bo, John, and Kate for her mother's death. Sami wants justice and tells Hope and Bo to leave the church. John agrees with Sami and asks that they forego the autopsy since he knows exactly what happened and that Bo is to blame for it. When things get heated, a peacemaking Hope cools down tempers and agrees to skip the autopsy as long as John lets the funeral home take the body. The funeral home puts Marlena in a body bag as they all watch.
Celeste talks to Marlena's black cloak clad spirit who warns of more suffering and deaths. She asks Celeste to act as a messenger for Salem and tell them that they will all die. She then hops into Celeste's body and deals a whole table full of tarot death cards.
Bo tells Hope, "no matter what I said in the heat of the moment, I didn't want this to happen." Bo enters the Brady pub to find Shawn Sr. and John at the bar. John opts to throw his liquor in Bo's face instead of drink it. John blames Bo for Marlena's death and Bo blames Marlena for the death of everybody else. Hope intervenes again and reminds them of Marlena's last words, "nobody else to blame." John explains that as "classic Doc" and continues to drown his sorrows at the bar and think back to happier times with Marlena.
Hope also informs John that Bo tried to call the shooting off but that the marksman couldn't hear the order. Celeste enters the pub to check on John and then tells Hope that she had a premonition. Without saying anything more, Celeste leaves so that she can "end it tonight." Meanwhile, Hope joins Bo, John, and Shawn at the bar for a toast to Marlena. Bo toasts "to a dear friend, a loving mother, a devoted and loyal wife."
5/18 At the morgue, Celeste lights candles and places them around Marlena’s body. She asked God to deliver Marlena's soul from evil. A wind blows as Marlena's lifeless hand grabbed her and sat up. She tells Celeste, “It is all a lie," Marlena suggested she might not be dead. Followed by the confusing statement that she wanted Celeste to avenge her death, Marlena said, "the worst is yet to come." Celeste asked if Marlena would kill the next victim and who it would be. Marlena shocked her with, "Everyone in Salem." Telling Celeste that "the evil lives on," Marlena added "but it has a plan."
At the Brady's, Hope reminisced over pictures of murdered family members as well as Marlena, saying she, too, had been part of their family. Later, Hope was startled in her sleep by recollections of Celeste's premonition not including Bo in her future happiness. But Bo's assurance not to worry any more did not encourage Hope.
5/20 Outside of St. Luke's as Celeste approached, she heard Marlena's voice whispering, "Don't let them take me. It's not my time to go." Asking what she should do, Marlena answered Celeste, "Help me before it's too late."
"I'm here, Marlena. I won't let them bury you."
Hope found John mourning at Marlena's casket, had been there since dawn. Because the Police shot Marlena, an emotional Sami demanded that Hope leave. But she redirected her anger, recalling Caroline's prediction and blaming Bo, John and Kate for her mother's death. A phone call from Bo alerted Hope that Crystal had more information about Marlena's escape.
John eulogized Marlena, saying she would want people not to forget what she taught and how she loved. But Celeste could only hear what else Marlena was saying, "Don't let them bury me." Following words from Belle and Hope, Sami approached her mother's casket and addressed her.
At the gravesite, the funeral for Marlena concluded with a prayer. As mourners left, Belle learned that Hope had not heard from Shawn either. Celeste said, "She's here!" In the darkness of the sealed coffin, Marlena's eyes opened as Sami's voice continued, "Oh, God, why did you let them take my Mom?" Hearing a thumping from within the coffin, Sami called out, "Oh, my God, Mom?" Putting her ear to the lid, Sami was shocked as she heard, "Sami, let me out of here."
5/21 With both his daughters pleading now, John listened at the casket but heard nothing. Marlena's hand grew limp, and her head dropped back as both Lexie and the mortician assured that she could not be alive. Sami's pleas, "She's in there, and she's dying!"
Confirming Sami's story, Celeste warned John that Marlena's life was in his hands. Burying Marlena would fulfill Caroline's prediction that he would kill her. At odds between his daughters and his own grief, John demanded the mortician open the casket. Despite the fact that Marlena had been embalmed, the mortician was ordered by Hope, as an Officer of the Law, to unseal the casket. Marlena was still and apparently, dead. Once Lexie confirmed Marlena was dead, John gave a second order. "Close it. Bury her."
Saying it was like killing Marlena again, Sami begged Celeste to tell them she was alive. But Celeste finally said, "I no longer feel your mother's presence on this earth." I sense that nature is at peace now." The gravediggers stood by waiting to do their job, as Sami hysterically pounded on the coffin promising to save her mother. In the stillness of her grave, Marlena's eyes opened to the sound of insects buzzing. Her gasps turned to screams as she found Will's teddy bear. "Oh no, no! They've already buried me! No! No! YOU'VE MADE A MISTAKE! Oh, NO !"
5/24 Bo and Hope sit in Salem Place drinking coffee and discussing Marlena's funeral. As Sami's Uncle, Bo is worried about Sami but Hope wisely warns him to leave her alone. They both agree that Marlena's death brought no closure to the involved families just as a butterfingers Jan drops the envelope of money as she is walking by.
Bo stops her to point it out as a nervous Jan scoops it up and scurries off. Detective Brady doesn't recognize her and goes back to Hope is worried about Shawn. To ease her nerves, Bo agrees to unofficially ask the Salem PD officers to keep an eye out for Shawn. Hope is relieved but Bo says they need to trust in their son.
The buried alive Marlena screams and cries in her coffin, calling out the names of her husband and children. As she begins to recite the "Our Father," the coffin begins to shake and falls into a fiery pit below. When she awakens, she hears drilling and the lid of the coffin opens to a blinding light.
On a tropical island surrounded by beautiful green water, Marlena wanders through a tropical replica of Salem Place. She spots a rosy cheeked Alice Horton who tells Marlena, "Hi, darling. I've been waiting for you." A depressed Marlena thinks she is dead but a chipper Alice corrects her. Marlena is not dead and neither is Alice.
5/25 Bo and Hope were taking a break by going to the Blue Note though they are still concerned about Shawn. As Bo toasted Marlena's memory, Sami verbally attacked him.
On an island, Marlena thought she was dead as she spoke with Alice in what appeared to be Salem Place. Unable to accept that they were both alive, Marlena suddenly found herself a guest in Alice's parlor. Asking how she got there, Roman's voice answered, "I carried you." Dressed in tropical attire, Roman caught Marlena who was very dizzy. Roman explains, "The stuff they gave us to simulate death is really potent. The effects last a long time. But don't worry, eventually, it will go away. After that you'll feel like your old self in no time."
Marlena said she didn't want to revert to her old self, recalling how she killed him. Touching Roman's cheek, Marlena thought it impossible, thinking she was to spend her afterlife facing those she had murdered. But when they matter-of-factly offered her a plate of donuts, Marlena called it a sick twisted dream.
And so Roman explained the truth. "Everything that happened back in Salem was a lie. Lots of things have been an illusion. Some still are. For example, this looks like Alice's house but it's not. Someone has built an exact replica of the Horton house and placed Alice in it."
Alice added, "And I'm living in a carbon copy of my house." Asking about Salem Place, Marlena learned from Roman, "Same thing. An exact duplicate." Growing more curious, Marlena asked, "Are you saying someone has gone to all the trouble to reconstruct all of Salem and then populated that with the residents of Salem? Are you saying all of the people that were murdered in this fake Salem?"
Roman assured her, "They sure are." Marlena realized, "That would mean that I didn't kill anybody!" Marlena was unable to contain her joy when Alice replied, "That's right, dear. You didn't kill anyone."
5/26 Marlena tries to process that she is not dead nor is she a psychopathic killer. Alice and Roman are still alive. Marlena's shock grows when she sees Abe and she sobs in relief and then passes out. Roman and Abe wonder how she will deal with the rest of the news they have to tell her. When Marlena revives, Abe convinces her that she did not kill him. Then Roman drops the bombshell, this exact replica of Salem is on an otherwise deserted tropical island. The truth is, they're trapped here as if in a prison yet with all the comforts of home.
5/27 On Salem Island, Doug arrives at Alice’s, disheveled and burned at from being electrocuted. Desperate to reach Julie, Doug had tried to escape. Scolding him, Roman reminded Doug that the perimeters of the duplicate Salem were guarded by an electric fence.
Theorizing about mind control, Roman questioned Marlena's change of personality and the possibility of her being drugged. Marlena recalled her dream of the tiger attacking, and a voice saying, "You are the Salem Stalker. You are guilty of all the murders." Recalling her confessions under the sodium penothal, Marlena wondered if she was programmed.
Roman was shocked that Marlena's confessed motive was jealousy over his relationship with Kate. Roman said his love for Kate had grown stronger. But watching how Roman and Marlena were looking at one another, Doug made an observation. "Here they are trapped on this island together. I wonder if those feelings just might be rekindled."
Back in Salem, Julie woke saying Doug was alive. Excitedly she called Hope, "I know where he is. He's alive," as she described what she had seen at Alice's Café. As she spoke of Doug singing in a blue jacket, a tearful Hope told Julie had been dreaming. Broken-hearted, Julie realized it herself and hung up on Hope.
Back on Salem Island, Marlena speculated. "All the people that ended up on this island aren't really victims of the Salem Stalker. But, what if it turns out that we're not the real victims? We are the lucky ones, the real victims are the people that we left behind in Salem?"
5/28 Bo and Hope continued to speculate about Shawn's whereabouts. Hope worried that Belle might not wait for Shawn while Bo was confident in true love.
On the island, there was a sudden blast of sirens as the doors automatically locked. Roman answered Marlena's questions with, "It's happening again. It always happens this way when somebody new is coming to the Island, and that means that somebody else in Salem is about to die. Then, they will be coming here.
5/31 The sirens went off again, and as they wondered who the next victim was, a photo album with pictures of various couples fell off the table and onto the floor.
6/3 At the Kiriakis mansion, family members gathered to discuss the disbursement of Victor's estate. With Victor's will still missing, Brady was confident that his family would agree to honor his grandfather's wishes. As Nicole claimed to be in favor of the concert hall, Bo and Philip resented Brady's gratitude for her support. Philip was quick to say Victor's intention was just buying Chloe for Brady. Thanks to Nicole's email interference, Bo and Philip had their own ideas as to where Victor's money should go. While she had no voice in the family vote, Belle suggested there were better causes than an opera house for Victor's fortune.
Bo's suspicions about Nicole caused Brady to accuse him of ordering Marlena's death. With resentment over Brady still living the good life in the mansion and lusting after Nicole, Philip got into a fistfight with Brady. Pretending to be on Brady's side, Nicole later voted in favor of the Isabella Toscano Black Concert Hall. Together with Shawn's proxy vote, Bo and Philip's votes won three to two against it. Bo warned Brady about staying there with Nicole, saying, "Open your eyes before you, too, are dead."
6/4 Celeste was home, seeking answers from the spirit world. As she lit a candle, a box of ancient ivory tiles from Madagascar began rattling. Opening it, she found the tiles glowing briefly with a green light before going out. "The window of opportunity is brief. I must obey the rules, or the message will be lost," she said. As she turned each tile over one by one, the tiles slowly lit once more, revealing the initials, "SDBRADY DANGER." Realizing that meant Shawn, Celeste asked for more, but the box slammed shut.
Hope was home when Bo angrily returned from the Kiriakis mansion. Having no sympathy for Brady and calling Nicole a murderer, Bo wanted Victor's funds going to worthier causes than a concert hall. While Bo stepped out briefly, Celeste visited Hope with her concerns. Hope asked Celeste to contact the spirits. Lighting a candle, Celeste told Hope to think of her departed loved ones. As Hope concentrated, Celeste's eyes grew white, and the Brady front door flew open.
A voice spoke through Celeste. "The spirits you seek are not present." When Hope asked about Shawn, she was told, "Enter his world, if you dare, but once inside, you must beware. The answers you seek won't be complete. Just find the spot and connect the dots." With that, Celeste collapsed. Upon his return, Bo was furious about the séance but left with Hope to follow the riddle's lead at Shawn's loft.
6/7 Based on Celeste's prediction, Bo, Hope, Mimi, and Rex comb Shawn's room for clues. Hope finds an earring and Bo dusts it for fingerprints. After finding only a partial print, Rex does some fancy computer work with the police database and pulls up a suspect who is a murderer.
6/8 On Salem Island, Marlena began recording her observations about Jack disappearing in the jungle.
6/14 On Salem Island, a machete wielding Maggie drops by to welcome Marlena. After they giggle over Maggie's murder, Maggie tells Marlena that she was out clearing paths with Jack when they got separated. Marlena then informs Maggie about the addition of Jennifer's name to the plaque and that Abe and Roman think that Jennifer will be joining them.
6/15 Jennifer hears Jack's voice on the computer.
6/16 Jennifer gets another message from Jack on her computer, confirming that he is alive. A private plane will pick her up at the old airfield at 9 o'clock tonight.
Dvd #58B 6/21 Hope notices a pair of earrings that look just like the one she found at Shawn's apartment. The dealer at "Helping Hands Thrift Store" informs her that the earring Hope has is a nice sterling silver earring. On her way out, Hope notices a familiar stuffed bear. She buys it on a gut instinct.
Later at Alice’s, Jennifer talks briefly to Hope before slipping away to meet Jack at the airfield.
6/22 On the island, Abe and Roman are disturbed to find a figure wearing night goggles in Jack and Jennifer's house. They surprise the person and he puts up an intense fight, getting the best of Roman and bringing Abe to his knees. Roman recovers and punches him out. Roman and Abe remove the goggles and realize they've found Tony DiMera.
Tony regains consciousness and recoils at the sight of Abe and Roman. He thought they were dead. Roman and Abe call Tony on this, assuming he's the one behind their being on the island. Tony denies it, saying he arrived and found a replica of the DiMera mansion. He found a compass-watch in the jungle and used it to find "new Salem" and Jack and Jennifer's house.
Maggie enters, spots Tony and slaps him, demanding to know what he did with Jack. Tony learns the compass he's holding is Jack's. Maggie describes how she and Jack went out exploring, hoping to find a way off the island. They saw a plane with a distinctive logo.
Maggie was separated from Jack and now Tony has the watch-compass that Jennifer gave him. Tony feigns innocence. He found the watch-compass near Salem Place, where Abe found Jack's shredded bloody knapsack. Roman, Abe and Maggie are still very suspicious of him.
The plane arrives and Jennifer is surprised Jack isn't on the plane. Jennifer tells Davies she wants answers to her questions before she gets on the plane. Patrick finds Hope and it dawns on him that Jennifer might have gone back home to see if Jack left her another message. Hope and Patrick race to Jennifer's house. Using low-tech skills to trace Jennifer's notes about meeting Jack at 9pm, they realize she's gone to meet an airplane.
6/23 Patrick and Hope drive to the old airfield in an attempt to find Jennifer. Hope is suspicious that Patrick knows more than he is saying. Patrick calls and reaches Jennifer who is with Davies. Unfortunately, the connection is lost.
6/24 At Salem's abandoned airstrip, Jennifer watched a videocam tape of Jack urging her to go with the pilot, Davies. Meanwhile, in a furious attempt to reach Jen, Hope's car had a flat. As Patrick changed the tire, Jennifer agreed to leave with Davies. For safety's sake, Jen emailed the plane's registration number to Hope. Her pilot was phoning a contact confident Jen didn't suspect a thing. A call to Patrick told him Jen was gone, whole Hope refused to believe Patrick's lie about the call.
At the abandoned airstrip, Jen caught sight of Hope's car and begged Davies to stop the plane. As the plane taxied down the runway, Hope's car raced to keep up. As Davies refused to stop, Patrick made a desperate attempt to reach for the plane's wing.
6/25 At the airstrip, Jennifer realized the pilot had no intention of stopping the plane. Hope continued driving in an effort to help Patrick grab the wing and to divert the plane. As the plane finally took off Jennifer fell to the floor, and Patrick lost hold of the wing. As a suspicious Hope helped Patrick, she realized he knew more than he was saying. Once the plane was airborne, the pilot checked on Jennifer. Finding her unconscious he said, "They're not going to be happy about this." In the jungle, we see Jack on the ground, motionless.
6/28 Patrick and Hope rush into the control tower. Once Hope shows her badge, the air traffic controller agrees to help them track the plane. Unfortunately, the blip turns into four blips and each one is going a different direction. Just as Hope starts to despair, Jennifer calls on her cell phone. When Jennifer can't see anything out of her window, Hope decides to try to track her phone signal.
On the plane, Davies notes some interference with his radio. He opens the curtain to find Jennifer on her cell phone. He rushes back and struggles with her over it. They fall to the ground as the plane hits a pocket of turbulence and begins to go down. Davies tries to save the plane from its dive. As a horrified Patrick and Hope listen in the tower, the phone goes dead and the blip on the radar disappears. Roman, Marlena, and Maggie hear a plane overhead. Since they have never heard a plane there before, Roman believes it is a private plane that has veered off course. They hear the plane start to dive and then crash but Roman says that it crashed past the force field. He believes not only will they not be able to reach it but there will likely be no survivors.
6/29 Bo and Hope are on fire to find out who abducted Jennifer, where they are taking her and where the plane crashed. Hope suspects Patrick knows more about all this than he's saying. They confront him and find him searching through Jennifer's computer files. Patrick defends that he is as desperate to rescue Jennifer as they are and they all need to work together. Hope is forced to inform her relatives of the bad news and Julie and Mickey race over there in dismay. Bo and Hope are also suspicious of Patrick and Bo decides to do some digging and find out what this Lockhart guy has to hide. Hope says she'll keep an eye on Patrick. As Bo heads off to the station, he warns Hope to be very careful.
6/30 Bo and Tek run an ISA computer search on Patrick and when the results come in, Bo is rocked!
On the island Jennifer's private plane has crashed in the jungle. Jennifer comes too from under the wreckage. She is horrified when she finds the dead body of the pilot Davies. She moves off and falls off a cliff. Clinging to the edge, Jennifer screams for help. Jack hears distant screams.
7/5 In his office at the station, Bo interrogates a jumpy Bonnie about Patrick's whereabouts. She claims she has no idea where to find her son as Bo produces a thick ISA file on Patrick's past. He then tells her the police followed her to the pawnshop. Before Bonnie can answer, Bo learns that the search for Jennifer has been called off. At first Bonnie protests her son's innocence but then she softens a bit and tells Bo the sad, sad tale of her oldest son, their estrangement, and his recent return.
She mopes that she didn't do that great a job of raising her kids but was happy to start fresh when he came home recently. An invigorated Bo warns Bonnie to tell him all she knows or else Jennifer's blood will be on her hands. On this, Bonnie thinks about her conversation with Patrick about the thugs that asked him to come to Salem and help "get Jennifer" and set her up. But instead of coming clean, she says, "Patrick isn't who he says he is." But that he is Jennifer's knight in shining armor.
In the alley behind the pawnshop, Hope holds Patrick at gunpoint. Desperate to get away, Patrick shows her his magic coin and claims it could still save Jennifer's life. Hope tosses him some handcuffs and orders him to put them on. He does so but continues to beg to be set free and save Jennifer. Hope receives a message that the search for Jennifer has been called off. This gets Patrick even more twitchy and when Hope is preoccupied with calling the police station, Patrick uses a pocket knife to uncuff a wrist.
Just as Hope gets Bo on the line, Patrick hangs up her phone. Pinning her hopes on her weapon and stellar training, Hope continues to point the gun at Patrick. One well placed kick later, he gets it from her. When Hope goes for her phone again, he shoots it as she is holding it. As he is claiming to be an excellent marksman, he handcuffs Hope, and checks her PDA. Hopeful, he says, "I know how to find Jen" and he wishes Hope could have trusted him.
Before Bo can roll his eyes or find out the connection between the kidnapper and Patrick, Hope calls but gets disconnected. A worked up Bo storms out leaving behind Bonnie who screams that Bo is going to kill her boy. Lexie tries to comfort her but an emergency page from Salem Hospital calls her away. Since Bonnie is still hysterical, Lexie promises to send Celeste over to wait at the police station with her. With the police near the pawnshop, Patrick drags Hope into a dumpster. He holds her at gunpoint as a clueless Bo walks right past the trash bin they are hiding in.
7/6 Bo almost finds Patrick and Hope in the dumpster. Hope manages to call out for Bo but a cat jumps out, distracting the situation. Bo tells Tek he could have sworn he heard Hope but guesses he is just hearing things. Hope manages to get away; Patrick subdues her and handcuffs her to the steering wheel of her car. Patrick bolts to try to find Jennifer. Hope comes to and finds the spare key to her cuffs. Unable to reach Bo, Patrick has destroyed the car's radio & taken her PDA, she tries using the GPS in her car and is able to track Patrick.
Patrick goes to a cargo plane marked with the same logo that Jennifer saw on her plane. Patrick overpowers a guard and decides to steal the plane. Hope arrives on board.
Celeste takes Bonnie on a spiritual journey and they see a coffin. As they approach they fear it is Patrick inside but instead they see Hope! Bo and Tek return to hear Celeste predict that Hope is going to die.
7/7 Hope is holding Patrick at gunpoint on board the plane even though Patrick insists that if she doesn't let him go she is signing Jennifer's death certificate. Hope refuses and believes Patrick had something to do with Jennifer's kidnapping. Patrick tells Hope the only way to stop him is to kill him. As Patrick prepares to take off, Hope pulls the trigger and a shot rings out.
Bo responds to hearing about Celeste's premonition of Hope's death and takes it as meaning that Patrick will kill Hope. Bonnie is upset knowing that her son is not a killer. If anything happens to him however, she only has herself to blame. She remembers taking Patrick's coin that set off this whole chain of events. Tek manages to open Jennifer's computer files and they find the "messages" from Jack. This increases Bo's suspicion of Patrick's involvement in Jennifer's kidnapping. Bo and Tek learn there is an open channel on the police band radio and think they hear a signal from Hope and they leave to track her down.
7/8 On the plane, we see that Hope shot next to Patrick to warn him she means business. Patrick continues to insist that Hope let him go and tells her that he is the only one who can save Jennifer. He shows Hope her own PDA with an email from Jennifer, it has the registration number of the plane that took Jennifer and previous flights it has made to uninhabited islands in the Caribbean. Hope tells Patrick she is going to arrest him and turn the info over to the authorities. Patrick says it will take too long for the authorities to get to Jennifer and by the time they do, she'll be dead.
Meanwhile, Bo and Tek track the radio signal to the airfield. They see Hope in the cockpit of the plane, holding her gun on Patrick. As they move in, Hope agrees to let Patrick go but insists she's going with him. As they taxi, Tek shoots out one of the plane's tires and Bo cuts in front of the plane. It looks like the plane is going to hit Bo's car and kill them all.
7/9 On Salem Island, Jack desperately tried to save Jen as she felt the ledge slipping beneath her. With all his strength Jack pulled at a jungle vine just long enough to reach Jen. Climbing down once more, Jack caught her as the ledge broke, bringing her cautiously to safety. Reaching the top, the couple was stunned at being safe and finding one another again.
Jack laughed and cried. "You're safe. The baby's safe." As Jen cried in amazement, "Thank God you're alive. You came back to me. I can't believe it." Jack assured her, "I'm alive. I'm here. And nothing and nobody is ever going to take me away from you again." And as a jungle rain poured down on them, Jack and Jennifer clung tight to one another as they kissed.
7/12 At the police station, Tek reminds Bo that Hope had a gun on Patrick but went along with him in the plane. Leaping into action, Tek logs onto the tracking system through his ISA contacts as Bo continues to wonder why Hope went off on her own. Things get worse when Tek realizes that Patrick and Hope's plane is headed for restricted airspace where the Pentagon tests missiles. Frantic, Bo calls the military installation in the region to beg for an escort and safe passage for the cargo plane but the Colonel on the phone says it is too late. The computer automatically fires at unauthorized objects in the airspace.
In the cargo plane, Hope remains uneasy about the trip. Fed up, Patrick offers to dump her at the nearest airstrip but Hope declines. Hope then tries a different tactic by probing Patrick about his feelings for Jennifer. Without going into details, Patrick explains that he was always bad news but that he is hoping for some good karma by helping Jennifer. The awkward conversation is interrupted by a radio transmission warning them to leave the airspace. When they don't change course, a missile comes right for their plane. At first, Patrick manages to dodge it but since it is a heat-seeking missile, it boomerangs and hits them from behind.
Back at the police station, a horrified Tek and Bo watch from the missile's mini-camera they have tapped into as it tears into the plane. They watch helplessly as the plane disappears from the radar.
7/13 Bo and Tek watch as the missile hits Hope's plane. Hope is lying in the ocean holding onto a piece of wreckage. Bo refuses to believe that Hope is dead. He organizes a search party but Tek wants Bo to grieve instead of work. Bo refuses to step back. The police commissioner orders Bo to hand over his badge, but Bo leaves when she is distracted. Tek jumps on the search helicopter with Bo and they spot blood in the water and all over the wreckage.
7/14 Hope floats in the sea on a large piece of wreckage from the explosion. There was blood in the water and Patrick is trying to get to hope but sharks started to circle around them! They moved over to another piece of wreckage and Patrick told her how he used a trick a sailor once taught him, he stabbed one of the sharks and the bleeding caused a feeding frenzy. The sharks showed up again and Patrick tells hope to keep her bleeding hand out of the water, she asks if he thinks the trick he used earlier will work again and he said he doesn't think so and that it's a great white.
They heard a helicopter but Patrick has doubts that they will be found in the storm. Something rams into the piece of the wreckage they're on and it breaks and Hope falls into the sea. Patrick swims to her and tells her again to try to keep her hand out of the water. They find a crate to hold onto and suddenly the sharks swim away. There was a change in the tide and thinking they're near the shore they decided to try to swim for it.
Meanwhile, Bo and Tek are up in the helicopter, Tek thinks they should head back to land because there is a storm brewing. Bo spots the piece of wreckage that Hope had been floating on but all he that is left is her bracelet. They saw blood in the water and Tek said that whoever's blood it is must be dead. Bo said they could be hurt and he wanted to go down and look. Tek said that it would be too risky and with the storm approaching it will make searching for anything too hard.
Bo said that he didn't care and goes down where he finds a burned family picture and Hope's bracelet. He cut his hand and started bleeding into the water. The sharks that had been circling Hope and Patrick headed towards Bo. Tek, hanging from the rope on the helicopter shoots them and brings Bo back up where he looks at the picture that he found.
7/15 Bo returned to the rescue chopper more determined than ever that Hope was still alive.
On the Island, Hope and Patrick were pulled to shore by Marlena and Roman. Hope's reaction was that she was dead while Patrick's only concern was that Roman was a cop. As Hope observed, "Something is very wrong here”. Roman confirmed her fears saying, "Welcome to our nightmare." Hope explained following Jennifer's plane before they drifted into military airspace. Rebellious about wanting to leave, Hope was told by Marlena that they were captives. Giving the new arrivals time to get acclimated before telling them more, they brought her to Brady's Pub where Caroline was waiting.
While Hope was overjoyed, Caroline's joy was diminished saying, "if you're here, I may never see Bo again." Hope desperately cried, "I want out of here. I want to go home, back to Bo and my family and take all of you with me." But Caroline just tearfully asked for her son. At Marlena's suggestion, Caroline left to find Doug while Roman planned to question Patrick further. A voice came from the doorway, "Hope, Darling, you're a sight for sore eyes." At the sight of Alice, Hope fainted in Patrick's arms.
7/16 At the Salem PD, John was unable to make Bo see reason. Thoroughly convinced Hope was still alive Bo planned to find her himself. As both men wondered about Shawn not calling, John was suspicious at Jen being lured away by messages from Jack. When Bo observed they were being "toyed with like pawns on a chess board," he questioned if Stefano was behind it. But Bo considered Patrick Lockhart was the key, and John offered his personal jet planes for what he believed to be a futile search.
Hope was in disbelief as she found more 'victims' alive and well. As she explained the pursuit of Jennifer's plane, the captives realized the sound they had heard was Jennifer's plane crashing somewhere on the Island. Confident of Bo's connection to her, Hope believed he would save them. But Roman insisted that even Celeste's premonitions had not led her to Salem Island, and the captives were assumed dead.
Patrick listened intently as Jack's island disappearance was described. Roman felt sure that Stefano or Tony was behind the plot while Maggie defended Tony in light of the tiger attack. As Hope spoke of Lexie moving on, Roman worried about Abe's feelings. Eager for news about Mickey, Maggie was confident that he had a good housekeeper in Bonnie. Hope couldn't bring herself to tell Maggie the whole story. Hope was agreement with a suspicious Roman that Patrick knew more about Jen than he was saying. Patrick studied his coin saying, "It wasn't supposed to turn out this way."
7/19 Down at the Salem Police Station, Bo tells John that his heart can't accept Hope's death even if his head can. Shawn, Sr. pops in to tell Bo to let Hope go but Bo gives him the brush off. Once Bo has had breakfast, he theorizes that Patrick and Hope are likely with Jennifer and her abductors. Working of that theory, he realizes that both planes disappeared in the same general area.
On Salem Island, Abe and Roman bad cop/bad cop Patrick while Hope hovers nearby trying to keep the peace. Bordering on frantic, Patrick keeps pleading to be set free so that he can find Jennifer. Roman and Abe explain their belief that he is in cahoots with their captor and that Patrick is just too scared to tell the truth.
Unsure of the next step, Roman and Abe ask Hope to make the decision on Patrick's status since she trusted him enough to come to the island with him.
Still believing Patrick to be a decent guy, Hope asks for Alice's opinion on the matter. A stoic Alice Horton tells Hope, "if he wants to save Jennifer, he would be completely honest" but that she doesn't believe he is being honest. Sensing defeat, Patrick threatens, "Unless you let me go, Jennifer and her baby are doomed."
7/20 Hope tries to convince Roman and Abe to let Patrick go. Roman refuses, thinking Patrick will lead them to their captor. Patrick goes to the bathroom and tries to escape, but Roman and Abe catch him and tie him up. Hope and Abe go to the force field. Abe throws a stick through it to show Hope how strong the current is. Hope notices a keypad and caution light near the force field. Abe throws another stick through it and Hope realizes that throwing the stick throws off the current for a few seconds. Abe tells Hope to throw the stick and he's going to run through it. Instead, Hope throws the stick and runs through it herself, ending up electrocuted.
Bo refuses to believe Hope is dead and continues looking for her. John tries to help Bo and tells Bo he knows how he feels. John and Bo commiserate over losing the loves of their lives. Bo finds a teddy bear among Zack's things and John recognizes the bear.
7/21 Bo, Philip and Belle have arrived at Titan. Bo sees Belle and says that it looks like she's moved on from Shawn to Philip. Belle explains that he's subletting for Mimi since she's living with Rex. They all go into the meeting and argue back and forth about Victor's wishes, how they weren't Victor's that Brady just wants to get Chloe back in town, etc. At the end of it all, Bo and Philip both refuse to support the project. As they're leaving, Bo calls home to check his messages and hears the one that Jan has left for Shawn and holds the phone up for Belle, telling her that Shawn has called, she says oh my god.
Roman and Abe are outside examining Hope, her pulse is erratic, but without a defibrillator there's no way to regulate it. Hope comes to and insists on going to Patrick thinking he's the key to get through the force field.
At the house, Patrick is trying to get Marlena to let him go saying that he's not a saint, but he's not responsible for kidnapping Jennifer, he wants to help her and her baby and if they let him go he'll get through the perimeter. Hope enters and asks him how he's going to do that? Abe threatens Patrick telling him he'll do whatever it takes to get the information out of him, Patrick says he has nothing more to say and that they might as well just kill him. Abe tells him to be careful what he asks for.
Hope asks to see everyone outside and tells them she wants to question him alone, Abe says no way, but Marlena says he and Hope have been through a lot together with the plane crash, etc., But just in case, gives Hope a knife. Hope returns to the room and Patrick sees the knife and suggests that Abe told her to kill him. Hope tells him to stop being ridiculous, that she wants answers. Abe sets off to check the perimeter on the west side of the island. Hope agrees to release Patrick, but only on the condition that she goes with him. He says that sounds familiar and that he didn't think so; Hope says he has a choice, he can stay there or let her go with him.
7/22 Patrick appeared to have knowledge about the Island's dangerous terrain as he insisted on searching for Jen alone. When Patrick refused to divulge anything, Hope offered him a deal, leaving with her or not leaving at all. Outside, Hope was overjoyed at hearing Doug's voice. Following their brief reunion, Hope returned inside the house to find Patrick had escaped.
Chasing him to the force field perimeter, Hope saw Patrick trying combinations on the keypad with the coin in his hand. As the two struggled for the coin, it was knocked out of their hands remaining suspended in mid-air in the force field. Hope watched as Patrick jumped through and then poked a branch into a hole in the force field. Following him, Hope asked Patrick about the coin. Insisting she go back, Patrick claimed that he noticed the coin's metal had an effect on the field.
7/23 At the Salem PD, Bo was unable to accept Tek's findings of blood near the wreckage scene of Hope's plane. Interrupted by John's request for a Court Order of Exhumation, Bo was more concerned about finding the living. Sympathizing with Bo, John insisted that Hope and Marlena's loss might be connected, while Sami begged that Bo let her mother rest.
On Salem Island, Hope realized her initial instincts about mistrusting Patrick were right as she questioned him. Denying he was working for Jen's kidnapper, he admitted deliberately stepping behind Jen's car. According to Patrick, his boss was dangerous. "If he found out I turned on him, I'd be dead. You'd be dead."
In exchange for a money deal gone badly, Patrick accepted an assignment to target Jen and bring her down. But touched by Jen's kindness, Patrick was unable to go through with it. Hope's strong slap to Patrick's face was said to be for a mosquito but Hope blamed him for targeting Jen. Furious for withholding info from Abe and Roman, Hope was sure he knew more. Reminding her that he tried to save Jen from the private plane, Patrick insisted that releasing all the captives into the jungle would endanger them as Jack was, based on his bloody knapsack. Hope refused to let Patrick go on alone.
7/26 At the Salem Cemetery, Bo, John, Sami, and Lucas crack open Marlena's coffin and are shocked to find it not only empty but the lining shredded. Sami blames John for burying Marlena alive after she said she heard her in the coffin but John doesn't understand how she could have survived the embalming process. At first, Bo thinks it is grave robbing but John says the ground was undisturbed and the coffin's seal was still intact.
Following the trail of clues, the group goes to the funeral home to question the undertaker, Millbauer. He says Marlena was dead but promises to check his files in his office. Soon after he closes his office door, they hear a gun shot. They rush in to find the undertaker dead at his desk from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
7/27 John, Bo, Sami and Lucas are gathered at the mortician's office and Tek shows up to look at the scene. Bo asks Tek to call Lexie and have her come over to the office. Bo tells John that they should examine the mortician's records. John smells smoke and they find the records and files on fire! They note the fact that the files that have burned are those of the people that have died within the last year. Tek wonders if the mortician had been selling the bodies.
Lexie showed up at the office and is shocked to see the mortician is dead. John tells her that he had killed himself and wants to ask her some questions. Sami and Lucas approach Celeste who has come with Lexie and Sami asks her to try to read from the bear. Celeste saw a vision of Marlena in the coffin clutching the bear and tells Sami that her suspicious were right, that Marlena was buried alive! Sami fainted and when she came to again Celeste tells her about her vision.
Sami said that she knows who was responsible and attacks Lexie telling her that she is a doctor and should know when people are dead and that she killed her mother! Lexie tells her that they opened the coffin, that they checked and double-checked and that she was dead. Sami wants Lexie to be arrested for killing her mother and then attacks John saying that he could have saved her but he didn't. John told Sami that he and Celeste had seen what the mortician had done to Marlena, that he'd stabbed her with a scalpel and that she was dead. Sami persists saying that she knows that Marlena is alive. Bo tells Sami that they'll find out what happened to Marlena and that they will pay.
In the mortician's office, Sami is continuing to blame Lexie for her mother's death, convinced that she's in a conspiracy with Bo, John, and Kate. Lucas tries to calm her down but Sami persists, saying that they killed everyone. Lucas tells her she's crazy and that nobody was responsible except for the mortician. Bo told Sami that she had to let them do their jobs if she wanted them to figure out what happened to Marlena. After arguing for a bit she relents, but vows to make whoever is responsible pay. Bo asks Lexie and Tek to examine the mortician to see if he was killed or if it was suicide.
Before they can, John asks Lexie if it's possible that Marlena was alive when she checked her and not said anything. Tek defended Lexie and John apologized to her, saying that he can't stand the idea of her being buried alive. Bo tells John that they'll figure out what happened to Marlena and thinks that Jennifer, Patrick and Hope are all part of a bigger picture. Celeste suddenly remembers a vision she saw of Marlena saying that everything was a lie. Bo said that he thinks he knows what happened to Marlena, how she could still be alive.
In the jungle, Patrick and Hope are searching for Jennifer. Hope is wondering how big the island is and if they will ever get off of it. She also continues to think that Patrick knows what is going on, but Patrick still insists he doesn't. The come across the wreckage of the plane and Davies' body. Patrick has a memory of meeting with him and Davies telling him to do what he was told or he'd be sorry. Hope asks him if he recognizes him and he says no, he's never seen him before. Hope goes to look inside the wreckage. Hope isn't able to find Jennifer and part of the wreckage falls on top of her!
**The End**
