Bo & Hope #59 July 28 - October 25, 2004: 8 hour original edit

DVD #59A 7/29 John realizes that Marlena wasn’t the killer but she was set up. Bo agrees that there is only one person who could have set this up. They agree it is Stefano DiMera and if she is out there, that Stefano has her! Bo meets with John, Lexie and Celeste at the square. They question why not meet at the PD? Bo points out that they have to keep their suspicions very quiet until they figure out what is going on. Lexie admits that she has felt that Stefano is still alive and tells them about knocking Stefano’s urn over and not feeling his spirit, but something weird. Roman devises a way to get word to the outside world using electronic toy batteries and electronic parts from Theo’s room. Roman built a crude telegraphing instrument and planned on sending an S-O-S to whomever might pick up the signal.

7/30 On Salem Island, Hope was pinned under a sudden fall of the wing wreckage from Jen's plane. Grateful that Patrick didn't leave her behind, Hope was unaware he had gashed his shoulder in saving her. Still trying to reach her, Jack could not believe seeing Hope on the opposite side of the ravine almost out of earshot. Yelling Jen's location, Jack explained what happened. Now realizing Patrick was injured, Hope decided it was her or no one that would save her cousin. Before climbing down a vine, Hope left a message with Patrick in case she didn't make it, "Tell Bo and my boys I love them with all my heart and I always will."

8/2 On Salem Island, Jack frets on the opposite side of the ravine as he watches Hope try to repel down the side of the cliff to get to Jennifer. When the vine slips, Patrick pulls her back up. After Hope catches her breath, she tries to go down again but Patrick won't have it. Unable to talk her out of repelling, Patrick punches her and knocks her out. Patrick ties the vine around his self and begins to lower himself down. Hope begins to awaken just as the vine snaps sending Patrick plummeting down the side of the cliff.

8/3 On the island, Jennifer remains trapped on the ledge. She calls out to Hope who hears her. Patrick is hanging to the side of the cliff by a vine. Suddenly he loses his grasp on the vine! Hope calls out to Jennifer, Patrick, and Jack but doesn't get any response. Jen is still on the ledge crying. All of a sudden Patrick pulls himself up onto the ledge with Jennifer! Hope calls down again and Patrick hears her this time. He tells her that she needs to go get help, that sudden movements could cause Jennifer to go into labor. Hope asks him how she's going to get through the force field and he holds up the coin and says with this. He explains that she has to jam the keypad and then throw the coin into the force field. He throws the coin up to her and she misses it! He tries again and the second time she catches it. Hope heads back into the jungle unaware that somebody is following her!

8/6 At the Salem PD, Bo prepared to meet John at the Grill regarding the mysterious signal. But while copying it, the signal disappeared, leading Bo to believe that "Tek was right. It's radio waves or sunspots or something."

8/9 John met with Bo on the terrace to discuss the mysterious transmission. Sure that it wasn't Morse code, Bo still believed the signal was familiar. While Bo thought the point of origin could be from Hope's downed plane, John reminded him recovery of the plane's Black Box indicated the radio was destroyed. Interrupted by Philip, Bo criticized him for moving in on Belle. Demanding to know what information Philip had, Bo was sure Shawn would have returned the Purity ring to Belle in person.

As the sun disappeared, Hope lost her direction back to the parameter fence. Collapsing, she drifted in and out of consciousness she had recollections of why she had to go on. Nearby a trousered figure approached with a knife, flicked a spider off Hope's body and left. Bo stands on the terrace begging Hope to go on and come back to him. The connection between them remains strong as Hope heard Bo's words begging her to go on and she wakes up, determined to continue in her quest. Finding her way to the parameter, she followed Patrick's instructions. After jamming the system controls and tossing the coin into the force field, Hope was electrocuted. There was a knock at Marlena's door, where the captives found a breathless Hope gasping 'save them.'

8/10 On the island, Hope shows up at the penthouse and tells them that they need help; they'll die if they don't get help and she passes out. They put Hope on the couch, Marlena says that she doesn't think Hope's injuries are serious while Doug wonders why she hasn't regained consciousness yet. Hope finally comes to and tells them about Jennifer and Patrick being trapped on the ledge and that Jennifer could go into labor. She tries to pull herself up off of the couch saying she had to get to them but ends up passing out again. Doug worries that it might be too late to help Jennifer and her baby.

8/11 On the island, Abe and Roman are asking Marlena if there's something she can do to revive Hope. She says there is a drug but it could be a risk, Hope might never wake up. They ask her if she has the drug there and she says she did back in Salem so it should be there as well. She finds the bottle of Adrenaline. She examines the bottle and says it should be okay if their captor hasn't tampered with it. Doug offers to be injected with the Adrenaline to make sure it's safe before administering it to Hope. Marlena injects him and all seems to be fine with Doug so she gives Hope a shot as well. Suddenly, Doug collapses on the couch.

Hope comes to and sees Doug lying there and asks what happened? They tell her about the shot and say it must have been tampered with. Doug comes to and Marlena says that he got lightheaded from the shot. Abe asks how Hope got through the force field? Hope explains about jamming the keypad and throwing the coin in. Hope wants to gather some supplies together and head back out to find Jennifer and Patrick again. Roman and Abe say no, that they'll take over. Hope persists, saying she's the only one who knows where they are. Marlena tells her that the only reason why she's awake is because of the Adrenaline. Hope gives in and says she'll tell them where Jennifer and Patrick are and give them the coin. Hope searches for the coin and realizes she's lost it!

8/12 On Salem Island, Hope recuperated trying to determine where the coin might have been lost. Doug and Abe left for the parameter area in search of the coin, promising Roman they wouldn't proceed alone. Doug and Abe returned to penthouse, with the coin. She is ready to go out and they argue about letting Hope make another trip. She argues that she is the only one who can lead them to where Jennifer is. She points out that she made marks along the way that she will recognize but they would be unable to find in the jungle.

The final plan is for her to help guide Abe, Roman and Marlena, as medical assistance for Jen. Reluctantly, Doug remained behind to watch out for the others, replenish the transmitter batteries and keep Tony unaware that it was working again. Arriving at the parameter, Hope tried jamming the keypad controls twice but each time the coin was thrown, the force field was not disarmed. The four speculated that their Captor might be on to them and had reprogrammed the code sequence.

8/13 On Salem Island, Hope made a third unsuccessful attempt to disarm the force field parameter. As the group discussed their options, the force field suddenly turned off. Roman was about to run through when Abe suggested it might be a trap, set by their captor. Watching from somewhere, an unidentified hand was near the control button. Claiming seniority, Abe chanced going first. Once safe, the rest joined him on the other side of the parameter. Immediately, the force field was armed again, leaving them to wonder if their captor would allow them back in later.

In the jungle darkness, Roman fell into a trap. Hope speculated it had been set for animals, but Abe answered, "Yeah, us." Despite Roman's determination to go on, a spike had impaled his foot. Sharing the medical supplies, Marlena remained with Roman while Abe and Hope searched for Jen. Hope recognized bent branches that indicated a trail back to the ravine. But as she left with Abe, the mysterious figure appeared re-arranging the branches and covering their trail.

8/30 In the jungle, Abe and Hope were running around in circles as a man with a bandanna over his mouth followed them. Abe heard the spy and circled around, pouncing on him. As Abe held him, Hope leaned in to uncover the spy's face. Bo continued to listen to the mystery signal being broadcast from the island. Finally, Bo remembered his secret code with Roman from when they were kids. Bo frantically translated the code to learn that both Marlena and Roman were alive.

8/ 31 Hope and Abe are about to unmask the mystery guy, but he gets away. Still looking for Jennifer, Abe and Hope are back where they started. Bo keeps trying to decipher the faint signal he picks up on the police frequency. The message is in a code Roman made up when they were kids. Bo deciphers the beginning of the message. It says, “Marlena is alive, Roman is alive.

9/1 Bo bursts into Kate's office as it seems John and Kate are about to make love on the desk. He demands to know what the hell is going on. Kate tries to explain that Marlena and Roman are dead. Bo drops the bomb that they are not dead! Her husband and his wife are alive! John and Kate are shocked and don't believe it. Bo tells them about the secret code Roman made up when they were kids and that the clicking message he has been receiving has to be from Roman! Kate and John resist but Bo wonders if maybe they want Roman and Marlena to be dead so they can get together. In a fury, Kate slaps Bo! John is also incensed and says he'd give his soul to have Marlena back; he believes she's gone and that Bo is grasping at straws. Bo wants to convince John and back at Bo's office they hear the coded message. John listens, still unconvinced, but decides to trace the source of the strange signal.

On the island, a dying Roman and Marlena are making out as Abe and Hope interrupt. They react to the news that Roman is dying as his foot is infected. Marlena has given him all the antibiotics she has but it isn’t enough.

9/2 At the Salem PD, Tek and John insisted the victims couldn't be alive while Bo was confident Roman's signal meant otherwise. Tracing the signal to its origin, John surmised the specific location was the Caribbean, the area where Bo last saw Hope. In the Salem Island Jungle, Abe worried they wouldn't be rescued before their loved ones moved on. Hope worried as Abe suggested Bo moving on without her but believed Bo would come since her body was never found. Finally reaching the ravine, they found the ledge gone, sure that Patrick and Jen couldn't have survived.

At Marlena's faux penthouse a gloved hand pressed a button triggering the doorbell as Doug watched the transmitter. Inside, a hooded figure in black picked up a photograph of Roman and Marlena. Pulling off the black hood, Tony mused, "Roman and Marlena, will your loved ones rescue you in time? Oh, please don't hold your breath." Calling it a Boy Scout's science project, Tony destroyed the transmitter. "It's done. Now, there's no need to worry. There's no way anyone back in Salem will be able to locate us. The Plan proceeds."

One touch of the remote button by Tony and he slipped out a secret hidden door. When Doug re-entered, he found the door unlocked and the remains of the transmitter inside. Lexie and Celeste walks into Bo’s office at the Salem PD, as Celeste announced she was getting stronger vibrations, "I'm telling you as God is my witness, every single one of them is still alive!"

9/3 At the Salem PD, Lexie questioned the possibility of Abe being alive, while Tek called the signal a vicious hoax. Speculating that the signal's code might have been obtained by Stefano during Roman's captivity, John believed Marlena's missing body was a set-up. Bo's only solution was to exhume the rest of the victims' bodies while John argued not to put other families through his torment if the bodies would be missing. As next of kin, Lexie gave her permission to exhume Abe. And while Bo was quick to okay Roman's exhumation, John reminded him Kate was Roman's wife. After seeing John and Kate embracing, earlier, Bo sarcastically agreed, saying, "I'm sure she'll agree if you ask her. I got a feeling she'll go along with your advice.”

9/6 Hope finally finds Jennifer, Patrick and her newborn baby son in the cave. She is happy Jennifer and her baby are both alive but worried and alarmed that Jennifer is still bleeding. As Jennifer bonds with her son, Patrick and Hope work to try to stop the bleeding. Hope worries that Jennifer is bleeding internally as there is so much blood loss.

Back in Salem John, Bo, Tek, Lexie, Celeste and Kate are at the graveyard as Roman and Abe's coffins are exhumed and their bodies are missing! Bo is convinced this means Celeste's premonition was right and all the serial killer’s victims and Marlena are alive. John and Tek remain skeptical. Bo is determined to trace the point of origin of the coded signal. John returns to police headquarters. Tek manages to pinpoint the source of the signal to an island on a pirate map with the strange name, "Melaswen." Bo and John make plans to leave.

9/7 John and Bo attempt to take off from Salem in John's jet. John realizes "Melaswen" is really New Salem spelled backwards. This is a huge turning point for John as he realizes that his family and loved ones are being held on this island. John is determined to depart ASAP. But the pilot has disheartening news that due to security measures, John and Bo will have to file a flight plan 48 hours in advance. Bo tries to clear the matter up but it's no use, they are grounded. Not about to wait any longer, John dismisses the pilot and tells Bo that the two of them will take the plane up. Bo has a moment where he thinks about Zack but realizes he must bring Hope home. As they prepare to take off they dodge airport security.

9/8 Marlena goes to Jennifer and we realize that Jennifer is dying. Marlena points out to Hope that unless Jennifer gets some help all hope will be lost. Also, Jennifer & Patrick encounter the mysterious figure who demands to know who Patrick is. John and Bo take off only to be tracked by DEA planes. As John retracts the wheels, they fall off! They veer wildly off course and Bo realizes they are in the same military airspace where Hope and Patrick were shot down. John tries to get them on course but it is too late as missiles hit them and their plane starts to go down.

9/9 On New Salem Island, Doug and Victor caught sight of a plane crashing. Identifying it as John's, they rushed to pull an unconscious John and Bo from the burning wreckage. Maggie wept hysterically as John came to and recognized her. Bo didn't hear his father's touching words as Victor said, "They told me how devastated you were by my death. How determined you were to avenge me. Here you are, Bo to the rescue, as usual. Damn, you're stubborn. I like to think that's the Kiriakis in you. I'm so proud of you, son. I love you. Please don't die on me now." Coming to, Bo simply asked, "Victor, am I dead?"

In the jungle, Jen caught sight of a figure over her holding a dagger. She asks, “Who are you?” Patrick threatened to kill the stranger if they harmed Jen or the baby. It was Tony who removed his hood. Cradling the infant in his arms, the Count said, "Now why would I want to hurt the lovely Jennifer Deveraux and her precious newborn child?" Tony still denied accusations of being behind the island plot. Claiming he used his Zen meditation and an amulet to get through the force field, Tony said he was the only one who could save Jen. He offered a palm stalk to Marlena as the cure for Jen's bleeding. Recognizing the clotting properties in the plant, Marlena helped revive Jen, as Hope realized she was indebted to DiMera for her cousin's life.

On New Salem Island, Bo was stunned to find a Brady's Pub with an overjoyed Caroline waiting there for him. As John embraced Alice, she believed it wouldn't be long before they would be saved. Against the others' arguments, John and Bo were determined to go after their wives.

9/10 At New Salem Island's Brady's Pub, John guessed that Tony was the person who broke the transmitter on a second try. As the discussion turned to Patrick's coin affecting the force field, speculation was that Tony had a similar method, if he wasn't controlling it himself. At the perimeter, Bo was electrocuted in an unsuccessful attempt to break through. John decided to try climbing over the field.

In the jungle, Jen was hysterical at Tony's remark that Jack was dead. Roman scolded the Count for his insensitivity. Abe suggested Tony's knowledge meant he had killed Jack and could be planning to kill them all. But the Count insisted Jen would have to "face facts." When asked about Stefano's possible implication with the Island, Tony's defense was that his father had died in his arms. But Marlena reminded him, "Well, I died in John's arms. I was embalmed, eulogized. I was buried along with nine other people who live right here on this island." Tony could only agree that the Mastermind behind the Island plot could only be a genius like his father. Jen reluctantly offered the baby to Tony when he asked to hold it. But the captives watched curious and suspiciously as the Count told the baby he would have stories to tell someday.

And at the perimeter on New Salem Island, emotions could not be controlled during another reunion. As Bo recalled losing Hope in the water, the jungle captives returned with Jennifer and the baby. Now separated only by the force field, John had to be restrained from jumping through the electrical current as he saw Marlena approach with Roman. A stunned John said, "It's a miracle, as Marlena greeted him with her eyes. Caroline was overjoyed to see her other son, as Roman and Bo cried out to one another. Almost sarcastically, Tony remarked, "Oh, goody. The Cavalry's arrived!" But the joy was followed by silence when Bo asked for Hope. And deep in the jungle, Hope turned to find Patrick gone but sensed the presence of someone.

9/13 On New Salem Island, the two groups were reunited at the force field. Bo was upset that Hope was still out in the jungle with Patrick but Jennifer vouched for him, telling everyone he delivered her new baby. After denying he destroyed the radio transmitter, Tony promised to open the force field for them with his Zen meditation. A few "ommms" later, Tony secretly flicked a remote control switch to drop the force field. With the electric field down, everyone rushed to hug each other.

Once caught up with all that transpired both in New Salem and the jungle, Bo ran into the jungle to find Hope. John began to go with him but Tony flicked the switch again, bringing up the force field once more. Out in the jungle, Patrick kept hearing noises. Hope continued to question Patrick about his past and his feelings for Jennifer. Patrick insisted their relationship was platonic since no one could replace Jack in Jennifer's heart. When Hope agreed and drew a parallel to her and Bo, Patrick questioned whether there had been anyone that came between her and Bo. Hesitantly, she brought up Billie Reed. Elsewhere in the jungle, a frantic Bo spotted a woman on the ground and cried out for Hope. When he rolled the female form over, he found Billie Reed instead.

9/14 On the island, Hope is desperate to find Jack and reunite him with Jennifer. Hope and Patrick talk about Bo and Billie's past. Hope tells Patrick that she's glad Billie's far away from Salem and Bo. Hope admits she was upset that Bo went to Europe to help find the missing Billie but she knew it was something he had to do. Hope admits to Patrick that the only person who has ever been able to capture Bo Brady's heart is Billie Reed. Patrick and Hope find a body on a ravine ledge and Hope is stunned to see who it is.

Bo is in the jungle face to face with Billie Reed. She is thrilled to see him but doubts he is real. Billie explains how she realized Marlena was the killer and was close to finding out who was behind the killing spree when she was kidnapped. Billie hears somebody coming after them and they are both hit by darts. Both are knocked out and when Bo awakes, Billie is gone.

9/16 As a fog descended in the jungle, Bo regained consciousness to hear Hope's voice. But seeing Patrick, Bo thought Hope had been kidnapped by him. As Bo punched Patrick relentlessly, Hope struggled to convince him that Patrick had helped in rescuing Jennifer. As they discussed retrieving what they believed was Jack below the ravine, Bo explained seeing Billie briefly, but recalling he was hit on head, waking to find Billie gone. Patrick reacted strangely, but said he had only heard Billie's name mentioned. Bo was against letting Patrick go into the ravine, wanting him away from his family and friends. As Alice spoke to Baby Deveraux about his Great Grandfather Tom, the curtains rustled. As Alice asked if Jack was dead, Bo was fighting with Patrick about who would take the ravine. In a moment, Hope wrapped a vine around her waist, and jumped.

9/17 In the jungle of New Salem Island, Bo pulled Hope back up from the ravine. As they argued who was better qualified to go, their mutual jealousy over Patrick and Billie surfaced. Unseen, Patrick quietly descended down the ravine. Once they realized, the vine Patrick used was breaking, and he fell into the rushing waters below. 9/20 Bo and Hope argued over who would be the one to shimmy down the side of the cliff. Worried about a repeat of Patrick's plunge into the ravine's abyss, Hope won the toss so that Bo could pull both her and the person on the ledge in the ravine up to the top. When Hope was lowered down, she found an unconscious Jack, barely alive. Bo slowly pulled them both up to safety and they carried Jack back to New Salem from the jungle. Hope hoped to save Patrick but Bo said no one could have survived the fall.

A chipper Bo and Hope brought a groggy and weary Jack into the faux Deveraux residence. Jennifer, woke up at the sound of Jack's voice and the happy couple was reunited to the tears and joy of Maggie, Marlena, Grandma, Bo, and Hope. Jack met his new son briefly before Marlena dragged him off for inspection and an IV. Bo and Hope broke the news about Patrick to a horrified Jennifer who clutched the magic doubloon, hoping for a miracle. Jennifer had not clutched the coin long before Bo coaxed it from her in order to get back through the force field and find Billy. However, before Bo could get past the front yard, Hope stopped him.

9/21 Hope tries desperately to keep Bo from going back out into the jungle to search for Billie. His moral compass demands he do the right thing and try to rescue Billie. Hope, frustrated, insists Bo let her go with him. Seeing no way to talk her out of it, Bo appears to agree but at the force field he tricks Hope and breaks through the invisible barrier leaving her on the other side. Bo tells Hope he loves her so much but didn't want to put her life in danger. Hope weeps as Bo goes off to find Billie.

9/22 On the island, Hope worries about Bo in the jungle saving Billie Reed. Hope confides in Maggie and Jennifer about her fears. Hope worries that whoever their captor is has reintroduced Billie into their lives for one reason, to drive a wedge between Bo and Hope. Jennifer tries to comfort Hope. Hope concludes that their captor is positioning them all to take a great fall and once they do, their lives will never be the same.

9/23 Tony's meditation was interrupted by the arrival of his Master Teacher Hattori, announcing, "It is time." Withdrawing the scabbards from their Katana, the two engaged in a duel. Hattori advised that Tony needed to convince his enemies he was one of them but sly like a fox, ready to strike at a moment's notice. With that the Count struck a surprise swipe at his teacher. "You mean something like that?" Hattori looked at his bleeding hand, changing his observation, "The Master has underestimated his pupil. You are ready. It's time for the real work to begin."

Dvd #59B 9/23 On the island, a surge in power gave Roman and John an idea as they are planning an escape. They determine to keep everyone together as they planned an escape. Hope enters and tells them that it is too late for that as Bo went back into the jungle to look for Billie. Hope wonders if Bo had hallucinated seeing Billie, or if Billie was still a very real threat to her. Either way it doesn’t matter, she still has to find Bo. Roman refuses to go after Bo but tells her they have to get these people off this island. He continues that Bo will have to find his way out of this alone, he never should have gone back into the jungle.

When Hope declares she will go after Bo without their help, and they tell her that no she won’t. They tell her they are working on a plan to get off of this island, and they need everyone together. Hope warns Roman that if anything happens to Bo, that Roman will have his blood on his hands. Hope leaves to go look for Bo on her own. Surprised by another visitor, Tony was hugged by Bart, elated that his "Boss" wasn't dead. Tony demands to know what Bart is doing there? Instructed by Stefano to go on a "field trip" with Hattori to the Carribean, he thought they would be drinking Mojitos in Havana.

Bart asks about the genius behind the island. Tony replied, "It was Stefano. He masterminded the entire plot. And once Father and I are finished with the beloved people of Salem, they will all have wished that they were really killed by the Salem Stalker." Putting out a candle flame with his fingers, the Count laughed. Showing Bart a map, Tony described New Salem as an acre-for-acre exact replica of Salem. Unknown to the New Salem captives, a "holding area" on the other side of the island contains additional inhabitants.

Explaining that Billie Reed had escaped from that area, and Bo was now in the jungle in search of her. Tony put Bart in charge of further security. Bart's can do willingness to serve caused Tony to let down his commanding demeanor for a moment. Pinching Bart's cheek, he smiled, "Oh, it's good to have you back." John worries about Hope speculating that DiMera's objective was ultimate destruction of all of his enemies and he hopes that she stays out of his way.

After Roman's refusal to help, Hope learned from Jen that Tony had the ability to get through the force field, and said she would "make a deal with the devil." Tony took a call from a hidden phone. "Hello, Father. Don't worry, I will have them all trusting me completely.” As he circled a location on the island map he added, "Oh, that's understood. Whoever decides to try to enter the jungle through the perimeter will be killed. Consider it done."

9/24 Most of the island captives gathered to talk Hope out of the dangers in the jungle or going to speak with Tony. While Hope refused to leave the island without Bo, Roman argued that an escape plan required they not separate. Hope seems to agree to Doug's plea to stay there. As the guys gather around the map to discuss the escape plan once they get off the island, Hope heads to the kitchen to make coffee. Of course she left the house instead. Tony revealed the Island plot as a plan years in the making to a curious Bart. Marlena's subconscious was implanted with scenarios for each of the killings and while under the influence of a drug she saw herself committing the crimes.

Tony continues to explain with flashbacks how Marlena stood in a wide-eyed altered state at the scene as Tony rendered victims unconscious with a dart. A drug devised by Dr. Rolf was then injected to slow down the circulatory and respiratory system, simulating death. Tony then bloodied the bodies and added fabricated wounds to complete the "murder" scene. The Medical Examiner working for Stefano, declared the living, uninjured bodies, as dead. Laughing, Tony admitted that Mortician Milbauer was also on the payroll. In the case of Maggie, Tony was nearly caught by Mickey before he replaced his mask. Tony delighted recalling drugging Caroline's tea and timing it so she would die in church.

Tony ambushed Cassie on her way to the PD. Early on Thanksgiving morning he remained unseen placing her body in the piñata. But Marlena was out of town with John and later programmed to believe she had murdered Cassie. In Victor's case, Tony claimed to have taken advantage of a situation of “….An incompetent killer. We just walked in, did it, and that was it." "Next was Roman," Tony smiled as we see a flashback to that murder showing Tony running in to inject him as Marlena stands there in a trance.

Then he spoke of Doug and how he fought Tony as he didn’t "die" as fast as anticipated. Marlena's memory would recall hitting Doug herself. Doug removed the dart, and only half a portion of Dr. Rolf's drug was injected, giving Doug time to write the note found by Alice. "Poor thing, I didn't mean for her to become a victim, but we couldn't afford to have Marlena caught prematurely." Saying, "Marlena had to be killed," Tony laughed about the dart shot through her heart by the sharpshooter, "also under our employ." When Bart questioned Tony's own “death”. Tony pointed out that they all suspected him and he had to be the next death. Tony revealed the damage done during the tiger attack after his flashback. He then peeled off fake scars. He shares that he had been wearing a suit of body armor, and he had his own paramedics waiting for him in the ambulance.

Bart questions why is he and Stefano doing all of this? Bart recaps Phase I is killing all the victims, Phase II is bringing the victim’s to the island, and what is Phase III he questions? Tony declares that Phase III will be the highlight of Stefano’s entire career. As Tony’s excitedly remarks, "The fun's just about to begin", he was interrupted by a knock at the door. It was Hope saying, "I need your help."

9/27 On the island, Billie dreamed of making love to Bo back in the old days while Bo searched frantically for her in the jungle. She awoke on the ground just as a rifle took aim at her. Hearing her scream, Bo grabbed her and pulled her toward New Salem. When they got near the force field, Billie stopped Bo to explain what the plan for the captives was but was interrupted when they were both shot in the arm and knocked unconscious. At the new DiMera mansion as Bart hid, Tony let Hope in. She begged for Tony's help to get through the force field in order to find Bo. Tony refused, stating that he did not want to be held responsible for whatever might happen to her out in the jungle.

Suddenly, Hope exclaimed that she saw Stefano out on the terrace. Tony went to investigate and while he was outside, Hope rifled through his desk drawers and found his force field remote control. On Tony's return, Hope blamed her vision on a reflection of a Stefano portrait in the glass doors of the terrace. After Hope scurried out, Tony became suspicious and discovered that Hope had stolen his remote to the force field. Tony observes that his father will not be pleased. Bart said not to worry, since Stefano had orders out for anyone going into the jungle to be killed. Hope gets to the force field, uses the remote and is able to get through it. She wonders what else Tony has lied to them about. As Bo and Billie are running through the jungle, she breathlessly tells him that if she doesn’t make it off the island that he has to know what the insane plan is. Just as she is about to fill him in, they are both shot with darts and immediately pass out.

9/28 As Hope is running through the jungle and she sees someone spying on her. She started running not wanting to find out who it is, and the person chased after her. She reached the ravine where Patrick had died and some one started to shoot darts at her. To escape, she climbed the vine down to the ground below her. When she reached the bottom, she saw a body and thought it was Bo, but it was Patrick and he was alive. Hope told him she had to get him out of his clothes because he had hypothermia, but before she could, more darts were shot at them, and they were forced to run. Hope and Patrick narrowly escaped being hit by darts, and they went into a cave. Hope took off Patrick's clothes and her own, hoping their combined body heat would help him. She told him not to take it personally, and as she was cuddling up to him to warm him, he kissed her. Hope told him to knock it off, but she realized he was delirious and told him to relax.

9/29 On the island, John, Roman, and Abe show up at the mansion to demanding Tony tell them where Hope is. Tony said that she'd been there, asking for help to find Bo, but she had left, and he didn't know where either of them was. However, if they were both out in the jungle, they wouldn't return alive. John asked Tony if that was a threat. Tony said it was not, but the odds were against them because the jungle had already taken Patrick and had almost taken Jack, Jennifer, and their baby. He teases them that they don’t know the real reason Bo went back into the jungle. They demand to know and he informs them that Bo had gone back into the jungle because he'd thought he had seen Billie. He suggests maybe his head injury was worse than they'd thought as Billie couldn’t possible be there.

John said that Bo was fine, but Tony disagreed, saying that he thought Bo had imagined seeing Billie but that his feelings had to be pretty strong for him to risk his life to find her. John thought that Billie had been investigating the stalker when she'd disappeared and had ended up on the island the same way they had. He asked again where Hope was, but again Tony said he didn't know. Abe said she had to have gone to the force field. Tony said she probably had but probably hadn't gotten through it. John said she wouldn't have stopped trying to get through, and they took Tony along with them to help them through the force field. The men reached the force field and saw that it was still operational. Roman said Hope had to have gotten through somehow. John told Tony to deactivate it. Tony said his Zen mantra wasn't working but that he didn't want to see Bo and Hope hurt any more than they did. Roman said they had to get through and wondered how they were going to do that.

Meanwhile, out in the jungle, Bo was passed out from the dart. He woke up and flashed back to the last couple of days with Billie. He tried to get up but collapsed again. He noticed footprints and saw that Billie had been dragged away. He looked into the distance, said, "What the hell?" and took off.

In the cave, Patrick woke up and remembered how Hope had saved his life by taking off her clothes and using her body heat to warm him up. He looked around and saw their clothing on the floor then heard Hope talking in her sleep, saying that she had to find Bo. Patrick said to himself that Bo was a fool. Hope woke up, and Patrick asked her how he'd gotten there. She told him what she had done for him and said she was amazed that he'd survived the fall. He told her he had blacked out and had to have gotten washed downstream. Hope told Patrick that she'd thought she'd heard him call Bo a fool, and he admitted he had. Patrick said Bo had been a fool to leave her and go back out into the jungle, and he wondered if Jack was still lost. Hope told him that Jack was okay and back with Jennifer and their baby. Patrick was happy to hear it and said that Abby would be happy when they all got home again.

Hope, a bit surprised by his sincerity, told him that he was a mysterious man. He said he was not; he'd made a lot of mistakes. Patrick said maybe he was a lot like Bo. Hope said that Bo didn't make stupid mistakes. Patrick wondered what would be so important for Bo to go back into the jungle and asked if it was Billie. They argued a bit about Bo's motives for going after Billie. Patrick wondered if Hope was that upset because what he was saying was true, because when he'd risked his life to find and save Jennifer, he had been accused of wanting to sleep with her. Bo showed up at the cave and found Patrick and Hope together under the blanket. Hope tried to explain to Bo what had happened and how she'd found Patrick freezing cold. They ended up getting into a big fight. Bo said that Patrick had probably planned it to get Hope naked. Hope was shocked that he would act that way, and Bo got mad at her for defending Patrick. Hope said she was going to get dressed so they could get back to the others, but Bo said he was not going anywhere without Billie.

9/30 In the jungles of New Salem Island, an infuriated Bo helped Hope get dressed. The couple argued about the embarrassing situation as Hope defended Patrick for risking his life to help Jack. Showing a scarf covered with Billie's blood, Bo proved that she was in trouble. Comparing notes, they realized someone with darts had targeted them all. Bo insisted on searching for Billie himself when Patrick volunteered. Hope refused to return to New Salem's confines and resented Bo's determination to search for Billie. The Bradys sparred, comparing Hope's police qualifications to Billie's ISA training in handling a potentially dangerous Patrick. "You say you don't trust him. You won't let him look for Billie. But it's all right for him to be alone with me, your wife?" To which Bo sarcastically replied, "She doesn't know him as well as you obviously do."

While Hope explained the argument as Bo's need to be the big hero for Billie, Bo entrusted his wife to Patrick, sending them to New Salem. Begging him not to go, Hope turned her face away when Bo kissed her goodbye, crying as he left. Patrick observed, "This Billie Reed sure has a hold on Bo. She must be something."
"Oh, yeah," Hope replied, "She's something all right."

At the force field parameters, Tony pretended to be unable to break the current with a Zen meditation amulet. While the others were determined to find Bo, Hope, and Billie, Tony knew it meant death to enter the jungle. Tony was not happy as he watched, and he resented Roman's request to stay behind to keep an eye on the count. Roman successfully followed John over the parameter. But as Abe wished them good luck, Tony thought, "You'll need it. And if you do find Bo, Hope, and Billie, not one of you is getting out of there alive."

10/1 In the jungle of Melaswen Island, Hope adamantly refused to return to New Salem. Curious at Bo's decision to look for Billie, Patrick wondered what would distract any man from a woman like Hope. John and Roman discussed the possibility of leaving Bo and Hope behind if they weren't found soon. Finding a dart on the ground made them realize new dangers, but they were unaware they were being watched through the scope of gun. Escaping a dart attack, the two wondered why Roman's life had been spared earlier.

Climbing a bamboo ladder, John found a clearance above the parameter's current and precariously landed on the other side. John could only surmise that John and Bo's unexpected arrival had tampered with an original twisted plot. Finding themselves trapped at the edge of a cliff above a river, they were forced to jump into a river below as two darts cut through the air. Safe on the riverbank below, Roman found a necklace he recognized as Billie's, Roman realized Bo had not hallucinated. John was convinced Stefano was using Billie to drive a wedge between Bo and Hope.

10/5 On the island, Bo finds Billie in a pool of water. He jumps into the water when he sees her. She screams and tells him she's not drowning, she was just trying to clean off some mud. He says he has to get back to Hope if she's okay. Billie is shocked that Hope is on the island and wants to know how she got there. Bo tells her it's a long story. Billie says she has a long story too but she needs to get dressed. Bo turns his head so she can get out of the water and get dressed and Billie screams. Bo runs to her and she has a leech on her and tells him to get it off of her. He burns off the leech and then asks her what she has to tell him. She tells him that Marlena isn't the killer and Bo says that's old news. Bo asks her who is on the island and about the fake Salem and force field. She said she doesn't recognize Patrick Lockhart's name.

Bo tells her he thinks Patrick is involved and then asks her what happened to her after he found her the first time. Billie tells Bo that she will tell him everything, and he'll never believe it. Billie tells them about the plan to bring everyone from Salem to the island and then destroy the real Salem. Bo asks her who is behind it and Billie tells him it's the DiMeras. Bo said he's suspected Tony but wants to know if Stefano is alive. She says everything points to him being behind it all. Billie tells Bo that he needs to get everyone off the island while she stays behind and looks for clues. She goes on to tell Bo when she was being held captive she was given drugs to forget things, but she remembers some. There are flashbacks shown of her tied up, gagged and blindfolded, struggling in a chair.

She tells him she heard someone say that the countdown had begun and soon everyone will be facing their very own Armageddon. Billie tells him again he has to get everyone off the island before it's too late. Bo doesn't want to let Billie go off on her own saying she'll be killed. She tells him she knew she would be, that’s why she'd escaped as soon as she had a chance. Flashback of a voice telling a bound/gagged/blindfolded Billie that she wouldn't be able to tell anyone anything she knows because dead people don't talk. Bo is insistent that he stay with her but she says no, if she dies then it was meant to be.

Bo wants to know what she means by that and she says she's had a bad life and the only thing that saved her was falling in love with him. She goes on to say that he has Hope and a family and he needs to be there for them. Billie gasps and almost passes out. Bo sees that she's bleeding and insists she take off her shirt so he can look at her injuries. He proclaims her to be ok but he won't leave her alone. She again tells him he needs to go back to Hope and his family, she doesn't have any of that; but there is one thing she wants. He asks what, and she kisses him and he kisses her back!

Meanwhile, Hope and Patrick continue to search for Bo. Patrick is trying to reassure her that Bo is just worried about Billie and that Hope won't lose him to her. Hope tells him it's not that simple and tells Patrick about Billie's baby and how she had never gotten over Bo. She goes on to say she doesn't trust Billie, whenever she appears it means bad news. Hope notices someone a bit off in the distance and runs after them. It turns out to be John and Roman. She asks why they are there? She thought they were leaving without her and Bo? They tell her the plans changed and they came out to find the island's power source. Roman sees Patrick is alive and is surer than ever that he's working for Tony. Patrick tells him he only works for himself. Hope tells Patrick she trusts him, but that they don't have time to argue this again. She asks them if there was any sign of Bo or Billie.

Roman says they found Billie’s necklace. Hope explains that she thinks Billie is there to ruin her marriage with Bo. Hope wants to keep looking but John tells her they were shot at with darts and it was too dangerous. Hope and Patrick say they were shot at too, and both Bo and Billie were shot at and hit. Roman asks if they've seen Bo and Billie and Hope says that they'd only seen Bo. She goes on to tell them how Bo found her in the cave after she found Patrick. Roman asks how she got through the force field and she tells them about the remote control she stole from Tony. John wonders what Tony is up to and what else he has planned. Hope tells them to take the remote and get off the island.

John responds by saying even with it, there are probably cameras up all over; their only way off is if they shut down the power. Hope asks where the power source would be? John responds that he doesn't know. Patrick says he knows, which makes Roman even surer that Patrick is involved. Patrick tells them when he was in the ravine he felt vibrations, that the island had to have buried power lines. John pushes his knife into the ground and says Patrick might be right. Roman says he could also be leading them into a trap. John and Roman go off to look for the power source while Hope and Patrick go back to their search for Bo and Billie. Hope and Patrick discover Bo and Billie kissing!

10/6 Patrick and Hope catch Billie and Bo in a hot kiss. The kiss breaks and furious Hope rails at Bo. Hope runs out of the cave and Bo follows. Patrick realizes the woman Bo was kissing was Billie Reed and he introduces himself. He asks Billie if she's trying to come between Bo and Hope. Billie tells Patrick that no one can break up Bo and Hope. We see this register with Patrick and Billie questions if he's ever kissed Hope. Patrick hedges and we see Billie privately tuck this away.

Bo catches up to Hope and she slaps him. Bo guesses he deserved that and tries to get through to Hope. He explains what happened and Hope is still not happy. They also talk about learning DiMera is behind the plot to keep them on the island. Hope wants Bo to go back with her to "New Salem" but Bo disagrees, he needs to go with Billie. Hope tells Bo to let Billie, Roman and John go, that his place is with his family. Bo makes a big decision and says he can't go back. Bo tells her that his first priority has always been his family, she knows that. He tells her that he loves her and the boys and that is why he has to go after Stefano. He is doing this for their future so their children do not have to live in fear of the DiMeras. He asks her to trust in their wedding vows and he wants her support.

He doesn’t want her to be angry with him. She tells him she has had to deal with the shadow of Billie Reed. He tenderly takes her face in his hands and tells her that he chose her then and he chooses her now as his wife, as his partner, as the one true love of his life. She gets misty eyed and tells him that she loves him too. She asks while he is out there protecting Billie, who is going to watch his back? An upset Hope tells Bo that if he can't go back then she's going with him. Bo reluctantly agrees and Patrick quickly joins the team.

In private, Billie tells Bo she's sorry and he quickly tells her that it's his fault. However, he tells her that he loves Hope and it's important Billie know that. Hope tells Patrick she is not scared of losing Bo to Billie however, Patrick bets she is going to be there every step of the way just in case Ms. Reed gets any unsavory ideas.

10/7 From a control center, Tony and Bart watched as Billie explained being silenced in Europe when she was on to Stefano's Island plan. Hope was confident that Stefano would be compromised once the power source was turned off. But Bo was against Billie returning to Stefano's Island compound alone. Bo, Hope and Patrick decided not to return to New Salem but accompany Billie. As Bo assured Billie he loved his wife, she and Patrick exchanged glances. Patrick sensed something, just as John and Roman in another part of the jungle were also aware of something not right. Bart followed Tony's instructions, hitting coordinates and triggering an earthquake in the jungle.

John was quick to assume DiMera was behind the quake. While no one was injured Bo and Billie were separated from Patrick and Hope by a boulder collapse. Patrick suspected and later found a secret entrance to the cave they were in recalling Tony coming and going unseen during Jen's delivery. Through a crevice in the rock, Hope sent Bo on to the compound with Billie but he worried about Hope's safety alone with Patrick.

Hope and Patrick found John and Roman in the jungle. Knowing of John's willingness to give up his life, Tony said it was time for someone to die. Roman was hit in the neck by a dart, while John caught a second one between his fingers in mid-air. Promising to catch the next one, too, John did hear Tony say, "No, no, dear brother. I don't think you will." Patrick was next to be hit. As Tony watched him drop to the ground, a signal alerted that there were intruders in the East perimeter. Determined not to be beaten he ordered to seal the area. Outside, Bo and Billie had a plan as they found themselves surrounded and realized John and Hope were trapped. John and Hope clutched one another as they faced danger.

10/8 At the DiMera compound, John and Hope realized they'd found Bo and Billie. Darts shot through the air as Hope ran to Bo's arms. A struggle ensued causing DiMera's operatives to radio for back-up. Grabbing one of the guns, Billie threatened to kill an operative who threatened Hope's life. "I don't take orders from you. I know what I have to do." But the operative was unable to follow orders as Billie shot him. But as darts cut through the air, each of the captives were cut down, including John after intercepting more darts by hand.

Waking in a holding cell, Hope noted one window with sharks on the other side of the glass. A screen lowered revealing their captor, Count Anthony DiMera, welcoming them to their new home. Reveling in his plot, Tony was like a crazed madman when Hope mentioned staging their deaths. "My personal favorite in all my illusions! You should have kept me in jail when you had the chance." As he recounted Kate's bloodcurdling screams on her wedding night, Roman threatened to tear Tony's head off with his bare hands. Saying they were close to 20,000 leagues under the sea, Tony mused how they would die if he opened the doors, by drowning or sharks.

The Count left them to figure it his motives for themselves. Blaming them for their situation, the six listened unhappily as Tony named those left in the safety of New Salem. "You could have been in the Brady Pub with all your friends having a little cordial. They probably think you all died in the jungle." Threatening vengeance on his half-brother, John watched as a laughing DiMera promised to meet him in hell, and the screen disappeared.

Angry as he watched Bo and Hope console one another, the Count gave a command, "Pull 'em out now." Suddenly unable to move, the captives found their feet magnetized to the floor as the ocean window was covered. Helpless, Bo screamed as operatives shot Billie and Hope into unconsciousness and carried them out. Tony said Bo would never see Hope or Billie again.

Telling Bart it was time for the final stage of his plan, the Count added, "Fortunately, everyone has been accounted for." But lost in the jungle Brady and Nicole caught sight of a jeep bearing the palm tree emblem. Hiding in the back, they got out when the jeep reached its destination where another palm tree emblem was displayed. A curious Brady walked forward unaware that his shoe was about to trip a wire.

10/11 In the underground prison, John, Roman, Bo, and Patrick cooked up an escape plan. Using a hidden tool, John tried to pick the lock to the cell door. Unfortunately, the door was electrified and John flew across the room. Roman and Bo stood in front of the cell camera, talking, as Patrick and John snuck underneath the camera to jam the frequency and loop the video feed. With the camera out of commission, the group decided to make a human ladder and escape through the air shaft. Before they could try, Tony made an entrance, handcuffed Patrick, and shuttled him back to the control room. With Patrick gone, the remaining guys put their plan into action.

At the control room, an enraged Tony questioned Patrick's loyalty to the DiMeras. Patrick admitted he was blackmailed into service but that he never wavered in loyalty. When asked about Jennifer, Patrick said he was protecting her because bringing her to the island was too risky. Tony was not buying Patrick's continued oaths of loyalty and explanation, so Patrick swore he had proof of his loyalty. Just as Bo finished unscrewing the air shaft vent cover, Tony sauntered into the cell with Patrick in tow. Tony admitted that Patrick was a DiMera operative. To combat more escape attempts, Tony threatened to hand Billie and Hope over to his sex starved minions. In the meantime, Tony just whisked away John, leaving Roman and Bo to fend for themselves in the cell but informing them the air shaft was electrified like the door.

10/14 At the DiMera compound Bo was put into solitary, with a door electrified to the touch. But Nicole's bloodcurdling screams startled everyone when she found Colin Murphy's body. Through a vent, Hope and Billie wondered who it was thinking the screams alerted DiMera's guards. Tony arrived asking which of the women was screaming. Using a diversionary tactic, Billie complained about being tied up to Hope. Once alone, the two struggled to break free. As Hope asked, "Are you here to destroy my marriage?"

Swearing she wasn't, Billie admitted, "He was my one great love." A worried Hope listened as Billie said, "Kissing Bo, made me realize I still have feelings for him. I'll never get over him, no mater how hard I try.” As Bo devised a way to blow out the electric power on the door, Tony walked in, threatening to increase the voltage if Bo tried to escape again. Worried about Hope and Billie Bo asked who had screamed. Taunting Bo, about who he preferred to see survive captivity, ex-lover or wife, Tony said, "If you're unwilling to make the choice, I'll make it for you." Bo asked what Tony was going to do. "You'll just have to wait and see, won't you?" Finding Bo's cell, John rescued him explaining the screams came from Nicole.

10/15 On Melaswen Island, Tony radioed orders for "moving the prisoners into "the final phase starting with the ladies first. " Taking a phone call, from his father Tony said, "I think our original plan is no longer feasible. We must proceed with the Doomsday scenario at once." Advising Bart that security on the Island was breached irreparably, Tony said no evidence could be left behind for others to find. "New Salem will be, must be completely destroyed."

In Hope and Billie's cell, Hope defended her marriage promising to destroy Billie. But Billie assured Hope she couldn't. Satisfying Hope's curiosity, Billie admitted she could never have children after losing Bo's baby. Since Hope gave Bo the family she couldn't, Billie said she would never take that away. As the two struggled out of their ropes, DiMera's operative walked in. Bo and John arrived too late finding Hope's bracelet by the empty chairs. As DiMera's operative escorted the women down a hall, they overheard the plot as Tony revealed his plan. "We destroy the Island and everything on it."

10/18 Billie got the drop on her captor henchman and stole his outfit. Newly clothed in DiMera's finest grunt wear, Billie made her way down the darkened Island compound hallways. Bo and John heard someone screaming in the hallways of the underground Island compound (it was Nicole seeing Colin alive). When they got to the cell door of the victim, they were chased off by three DiMera henchmen. One henchman scampered off down the corridor toward the control room and Bo followed. John stayed behind and snuck into the air vents again.

Hope paced in her cell as Patrick entered to check on her. Hope got the jump on him but he shook off her punches. Patrick warned her that neither of them would ever return to Salem and that he could not help her. As he turned to leave, Hope strangled him into unconsciousness. With Patrick out cold, Hope was relieved to find John Black saying hello from the air vent. With a couple of quick turns of the screw, John pulled Hope into the air shaft with him. Hope was just beginning to tell John that the clock was ticking down to the island explosion when they ran into Nicole and Brady. Startled, the foursome heard the screaming start up again. A determined Nicole explained that is was Colin Murphy.

Meanwhile back in the Island compound control room, Bo snuck up on a henchman. The henchman's taser conveniently left near the doorway, Bo scooped it up and applied it directly to the heart area of the henchman. With a flick of the wrist, Bo unmasked Billie as she crumpled to the floor.

10/19 Nicole tells John and Hope that the person they are hearing screaming is Colin Murphy. Hope tells her that Bo said that Nicole killed Colin and Nicole says that Bo is wrong. Nicole is determined to find Colin to prove he's alive, Brady tells her he believes her. Hope and John talk about the island blowing up and John says that they should keep it to themselves for the time being. John tells Brady that they need to disable the power and get everybody together to get them off the island. The four synchronize their watches and say they'll meet up in an hour at the same spot. Brady and Nicole leave and Hope and John talk about their kids; how Hope is worried about Shawn and John about Belle. John tells Hope that if Stefano is alive they have to destroy him or none of them will have any peace.

A bit later they start discussing Billie. Hope tells John that if the circumstances were different they might have been friends. They hear a scream and John says that it sounded like Nicole. They look around and find Brady and Nicole. Brady tells them that Nicole fell, Nicole adds - not that anybody cares. Hope tells her that Victor might because he's alive and on the island.

In the control room, Bo stuns the masked guard and is shocked to find that it's Billie! He starts CPR on her; while she dreams about kissing Bo. She comes to and asks him what happened. He tells her that he had to give her CPR and she remembers him stunning her. Billie tells him that they have to get out of there but Bo refuses until she's regained her strength. He asks her why she's dressed as a guard and what she's doing in the control room.

She tells him how she got the clothes but says she doesn't know what happened to Hope. She goes on to tell him that she found out that Tony was planning to blow up the island and everybody on it. Suddenly a guard starts banging on the door, they hide and Bo stuns the guard. Billie removes her CD from the computer and Bo asks her what she was looking for. She tells him "nothing." He tells her that he's done his duty and made sure she's alright, now she's on her own.

She stops him and tells him she hadn't found anything, she didn't get a chance to look at the files on the computer. She tells him to go find Hope and get off the island and back to his family. They talk a bit about the daughter that they lost and Bo tells her that he wishes he could have been there for her, she tells him she wish he could have been too. They leave to "kick some DiMera ass." Patrick enters the control room and starts typing at the computer. He says "god forgive me, tick tick BOOM."

10/20 In the control room on the island, Patrick says to himself "that wasn't suppose to happen" and the island starts to shake. Hope tells the others to go shut down the power so she can go find Bo and Patrick, but John says that Patrick is a traitor and they should stick together. They finally decide to split up and John tells her to find Bo and meet them at the pub, if they're not there by the meeting time they're leaving without them.

Elsewhere in the air ducts Billie is telling Bo that they're sitting on top of a volcano. Billie falls down a shaft and Bo yells after her. Billie is hanging over molten lava! Bo tries to get to her to pull her up but Billie tells him to save them. She tries to give the CD of information to him and tells him he has to get it to the ISA in case she dies. Bo tells her she won't die, if she wants the information to get the ISA she's going to have to do it herself. He tells her he's coming after her when Hope shows up and tells him not to.

Bo tells her that he can't let Billie die and asks her if she hates her that much. Hope says no but she loves him that much, and that there isn't any way to save Billie. Billie tells Bo that Hope is right and he'll die if he tries to get to her. Hope reminds Bo that he promised not to risk his life for Billie again and he says he doesn't have any choice. Billie says he does and she'll make it easy for him. She tells him to get the others and go home, then she lets go!

10/21 At the DiMera Compound, Tony was unshaken at Bart's report that John, Billie, Bo and Hope were not in their cells. But Bart was not reassured when Tony said, "no one is going to get out of here before the volcano erupts." Tremors continued as Hope watched Bo leave to save Billie now slipping down towards the lava. Finding some rope, Hope was able to save them both. In the study, an excited Tony approached a desk as smoke rose behind it. "Well, Father, I'm so glad you're here. Just in time to see the culmination of all my efforts. Everything is going according to plan. And all your enemies! They're going to be HERE to SEE you!

10/22 The escapees ran into Tony unexpectedly. Giving orders to take Colin away, he confirmed with Patrick that the countdown was started. John's request to let the others go was met by Tony saying he'd already sent for their friends. "In the meantime, there is someone who wants to see you." The curious captives walked into the DiMera study but the chair was turned away. Smelling the familiar cigar aroma, John whispered, "Stefano."

10/25 Bo, Hope, and Billie were stuck in another cell after an earthquake jammed the doorway. Billie hopped into the air shaft as a henchman burst in, guns blazing. Bo knocked out their would-be captive and told Billie to crawl out to the jungle and warn the New Salem inhabitants to get off the island. Bo and Hope went back into the compound to find the others. Jack and Jennifer stumbled into the compound hallways to find Bo and Hope. Just after the reunion, Patrick showed up and Hope broke the news to Jennifer about his working for Tony. Just as the group was to split up, Bart appeared to force the group at gun point into a visit to Tony and Stefano.

John, Marlena, Roman, Abe, Nicole, and Brady confronted Tony as a nearby leather chair emanated puffs of Cuban cigar smoke. Tony referred to the unseen chair dweller as "Father" but the group grew suspicious of Stefano's new found muteness. Tony explained to the group that the whole plan was to both make his father proud and to hurt John as much as possible.

10/26 Patrick is telling everyone they have to get off the island before it blows up. Bo tells Jennifer that Patrick has been working for Tony and she's shocked. Patrick says there's no time to explain. Hope says they need to get out now. Then Bart shows up and says they're not leaving until they say goodbye to Tony and Stefano. John is asking Tony why he and Stefano aren't worried about their own safety. Tony tells him they've made arrangements to get away, but Stefano doesn't need it, they don't call him the Phoenix for nothing. John lunges at Tony but Roman holds him back. Tony tells John that he didn't have to die; he could have stayed safe in Salem. John says that thinking of everybody dead and Marlena being the serial killer would be worse than death.

Bart comes in with Bo, Hope, Peter, Jack and Jenn and they find out about Stefano being there. Bo asks if this is all part of Stefano's plan. Tony says it was all his doing, that he's in charge and that Stefano has nothing to do with it. Bo asks him if he did it to gain his father's approval? John says yes, and to get revenge. Roman says Tony wanted to prove himself as being the ultimate soldier and wanted world domination. Hope says he's deranged and that even Stefano wouldn't have gone this far. Abe asks him how he can do this to Lexie and Tony tells him that his sister is better off without him. Bo asks Tony how many people have to die and how many lives he has to ruin before he's happy. Tony says even more than in his worst nightmares.

The others start talking and discuss the situation. Marlena doesn't think Stefano would go this far; Hope doesn't think he'd hurt Lexie or Theo this way; John says it's all revenge against him. Bo says it doesn't matter and they have to get away. Jack tells Jennifer he'll protect her and Patrick says that he'll help them. Bo tells them to keep an eye on Patrick because they have a plan. Hope fakes an anxiety attack and while she does they make a rush for the door to get out but Tony stops them by closing and locking the doors. Patrick says he can help them get out the doors; Bo doesn't want to trust him but Jen convinces him and Patrick starts working. **The End**
