DVD #63A When Hope was still suspicious, Bo told her he felt that she just did not like that fact that Chelsea was Billie and his daughter. Hugging his wife, Bo said they just needed to all pull together because they had another child to share their lives with.
9/9 Bo and Hope kiss outside the church the day Chloe is getting married. Chelsea loved the perks of being Bo and Billie's daughter, but she was not making it easy for them. Patrick and Billie stayed close together and hoped Chelsea got the message that he was off-limits to her. Bo was angry that Lockhart was there with Billie and wanted to know what he was doing there? Hope tried to mediate and say that it was okay for Bo to be protective of Chelsea, but it was not okay for him to be jealous of Billie and Patrick. Bo's pleased with the breakthrough while Billie confides her frustration to Hope who agrees that they should not back off from Chelsea.
10/3 On the boat, Billie and Hope felt like Chelsea hated them both while Bo explained that sometimes girls just found it easier to talk to their fathers than their mothers. Hope grudgingly agreed when Bo reminded her that Shawn found it easier to talk to her than him. After Bo assured them that Chelsea had plans and would call them later, Billie apologized for butting in on their evening but a gracious Hope told her it was fine because she was there to set things straight with her daughter. A happier Billie left to go meet Patrick but thanked Hope for backing her up with Chelsea on her way out.
After Billie left, Bo wondered why women could not see that Patrick was trouble. Hope started to stick up for Patrick but wisely changed the subject to the apple pie she bought for Bo. Over their snack, Bo casually admitted he gave Chelsea $250.00, to which a disbelieving Hope warned Bo that his daughter was playing him. Bo protested and explained that Hope was just concerned and knew that Chelsea had been through a lot of rough stuff.
Chelsea was thankful that Bo was cool with everything, but Bo told her he still was not cool with Patrick. When Chelsea explained that Patrick had helped her with money and other things, Bo told her he did not want her to depend on Patrick but instead know that she could always count on her parents.
Bo asked Chelsea about the $250 he gave her, but Chelsea explained that she already spent the money on a donation to the leukemia walk and underwear. Slightly embarrassed, Bo admitted that he did not realize how much more expensive things were for daughters. Chelsea happily explained that she had dry cleaning and her hair to pay for as Bo handed her another $250.
After Bo asked her to promise to be more responsible with her money, Chelsea asked him to promise not to tell Billie, just as she walked in. Chelsea avoided the question by thanking Bo before heading out. Billie questioned Bo about their chat, and Bo told her that he tried to instill in her the importance of holding on to her money. When talk turned to Patrick again, Billie tried to reassure Bo that Patrick was only interested in her and not Chelsea. Billie asked Bo to trust her, but Bo responded that if she was wrong, their daughter would suffer.

Chelsea snarks that Hope is only talking to her because Bo asked her too. Hope tells her that she is part of her family now and invites Chelsea to come over for dinner to get to know her brothers. Hope suggests that if Chelsea makes a little bit of effort, she would find that things aren’t really all that bad. Chelsea snarks that Hope is acting like her mother not her step-mom.
