Georgie & Dillon #2  October 7, 2003 - March 2, 2004 - 8 hours

Scared to death that Dillon is in danger, Georgie tells Ned that Dillon is now working for Alcazar. Dillon sits and watches an old movie on tv since Ned grounded him after Georgie told him that he has been working for Alcazar. Dillon imagines himself in the leading man role in the movie and Georgie in the leading lady role. Georgie shows up to see him. He isn't too happy to see her and is still upset that she told Ned on him. She takes out a concert DVD of the band they were going to see to cheer Dillon up. Dillon tells her that he feels betrayed by her for telling Ned about Alcazar. She tells him that she was worried about him taking money from Alcazar and just panicked. Dillon asks her to leave because he wants to be alone for a while. Georgie runs off upset.

Later, Edward is surprised to find Dillon moping around the house and wonders why he hasn't skipped out on them again. Edward notices that Dillon is watching an old favorite movie of his and Lila's and tells him a story about how he took Lila to see that movie and that she cried on his shoulder in the theater. Dillon ends up opening up to Edward about how he feels betrayed by Georgie for telling Ned on him like she did. Edward tells him he is the right person to come to about heartache in relationships. Edward asks Dillon if he can move on with some other girl. Dillon tells him that there is no one else for him but Georgie. Edward advises him to give her another chance and not give up so quickly on his relationship. Georgie talks to Maxie at Kelly's and tells her about what happened with Dillon. Georgie feels bad about telling Ned on him but that she was worried about him. Maxie advises her to go after Dillon and fight for him. Georgie takes her advice and shows up at the Quartermaine mansion again to see him. Dillon is doing his homework when he hears a familiar song playing from out in on the patio. He goes to check it out and sees Georgie holding up a radio over her head and playing a song. Dillon realizes she is copying a key scene from the movie, "Say Anything." Dillon is impressed and touched. He takes the radio and puts it down and kisses her.

Dillon tries to explain to an annoyed Georgie that Alcazar made Faith take him home last night and that it wasn't his fault. He suggests they go to some rock concert but the tickets are expensive. He sees she is still very bothered by Faith coming on to him all the time. Dillon tells her he loves her and only wants to be with her and that Faith is a crazy woman. Dillon allows Marcella to use his phone to make arrangements to leave town. Marcella is disappointed when she realizes that the air line will only hold a ticket for her if she puts the cost on a credit card! Marcella asks Dillon to put the ticket on his credit card, promising to pay Dillon back in cash. But Dillon declares that he, also, has no credit card and suggests that Marcella take a train, because trains leave town frequently and are not so likely to turn their noses up at cash.

After Marcella leaves, Alcazar spots Dillon! Marcella ducks out of sight before Lorenzo sees her and eavesdrops as Lorenzo tries to persuade Dillon to help him search for "a friend," and flashes a photograph of "Lily." While Dillon tries to stall Alcazar by asking questions about why Lorenzo is searching for "his friend," Georgie shows up and coldly reminds Lorenzo that Dillon is, after all, a high school student with other things to do, besides run errands for Alcazar! Alcazar gets the hint and apologizes to Dillon for trying to rope Dillon into the job of searching for Alcazar's "missing friend!" After Lorenzo leaves, Georgie blasts Dillon for chatting with Alcazar, but Dillon protests that he had no intention of accepting Alcazar's job, but did not think it was wise to offend a powerful man by refusing to speak with him! But Dillon thanks Georgie for looking out for him.

At Stefan's memorial, Skye walks in with a woman dressed in all black with a veil covering "her" face. Everyone stares at "her and wonders if it is Luke in disguise. Scott also comes over to talk to Skye to ask her who the person is. Skye pretends not to know. Scott is about to go over and pull the veil up to catch Luke, who he thinks is under it. However, everyone is surprised when none other than Helena Cassadine shows up. After the ceremony Scott approaches the veiled figure and pulls the veil off to reveal not Luke, but Dillon. Scott asks him what he is doing there. Dillon tells him he wanted to videotape the ceremony for a movie idea. He denies he is working for Luke and that he is only a curious film-maker. Scott lets him go. (Note: we don't see Luke recruit him for this mission, as it is kept as a surprise.) Dillon returns the dress he borrowed from Luke. Skye tells him Luke is gone and she is hoping he doesn't come back. Dillon tells her he thought she was on Luke's side. She tells him she is not on his side at all and that she was sort of an unwilling hostage at first but that she could understand his hatred for the Cassadines. However, she doesn't want to be involved with a man who is a bad boy like Luke and asks him what kind of man he wants to be.

Edward introduces Dillon to the headmaster of the military school. The headmaster acts friendly toward Dillon until Edward leaves the room. He sizes Dillon up and accuses him of being another spoiled rich boy that needs discipline. Dillon salutes him and starts to act nervous and crazy about what is expected of him and what he will learn in the school. The headmaster tells him that he sees through him. Dillon tells him that the family wants to send him off to school because he is gay. The headmaster tells him that he doesn't care if he is gay, he is going to the school. Georgie runs into the room, pretending to be pregnant with Dillon's child, with a pillow under her sweater. The headmaster tells her that Dillon is gay and questions her motives. She tells him she knows he is gay but he is still the father of her child and must help her raise the baby. Edward comes in the room and asks her if that is a pillow inside her sweater. She takes it out once she realizes she's been caught. Dillon tells her to leave and pushes her toward the door and tells her to go home and he will handle things. Edward tells him he is leaving tomorrow morning for the military academy. Dillon looks at them in dread. He goes to Georgie's house and climbs through her bedroom window. She is crying on her bed when he shows up. He tells her that he has to leave tomorrow. She tells him she will visit him when she can. He tells her it is too far away. She hugs him and tells him she loves him. She tells him they have this one night together and kisses him. Dillon takes his shirt off and kisses her passionately.

Dillon and Georgie end up in his bedroom making out on the bed. Edward bangs on his door and demands to know who told him he could lock his door. Dillon tells him he is busy and to go away. Edward tells him that Tracy managed to threaten the General with a lawsuit if he tried to take him to the military academy and that he is off the hook and accuses him of knowing he wasn't going ahead of time. Georgie stops kissing Dillon and pulls away from him and tells him she has to leave. He asks her why she has to leave. She accuses him of lying to her after she asks him if he called his mother. He admits to calling his mother but that he didn't know that he wasn't going to the academy until just now when Edward told him. Georgie doesn't know whether to believe him and feels he lied to her to get her to go to bed with him. Dillon tells her that she has crossed the line by her accusations. She storms out of his room. He follows her downstairs into the living room where Edward is. He demands that Edward tell Georgie the truth, that he didn't know about what his mother did until just now and that he is lying to hurt him. Edward refuses to admit anything and tells Georgie that Dillon knew he wasn't going to the academy when the General came to meet him. Georgie tells Dillon that she wants to go home now. Dillon tries to get her to stay and let him talk to her. Edward continues to interfere and accuse him of getting his mother involved. Georgie tells him she is leaving. Dillon tries to follow her out but Edward stops him and tells him to let her go and have her space if she wants that and not to push her. Dillon gets upset and after Edward leaves the room, he takes the books that are on the desk and throws them across the room. Sam is outside on the terrace looking in on him. A.J. comes into the room and accuses him of stealing the dead man's hands cards from the book. Dillon tells him he doesn't know what he is talking about and that he didn't steal anything. A.J. warns him to give them back and walks off. Dillon doesn't see Sam sneak into the living room and hide behind the chair. The phone rings and Dillon answers it. It is Tracy. He talks to her and tells her that he has the three other playing cards and that not to worry about it since no one will have a clue where he stashed them. Sam overhears his conversation and smiles in satisfaction. Dillon goes up to his room later to find Sam laying on his bed waiting for him. She tells him he has what she is looking for.

Sam tells Dillon some sob story about how her father has lost a reason to live because he needs those old playing cards and that she knows the cards are in the Quartermaine mansion. She basically tells Dillon what Jax told her about his father owning the cards. Dillon tells her that he doesn't know where the cards are but will let her know if he finds them. Sam leaves his room. Luke goes up to Dillon's room and tells him that he is looking for three other playing cards that belonged to Wild Bill Hitchcock and that he knows the Quartermaines have them. He asks him to help look out for them. Dillon had taken the playing cards he had stolen for his mother and put them inside a CD holder. He tells Luke that he has to be careful about being a decoy for him since Scott told Edward about how he had dressed in a black dress at Stefan's funeral for him and that Edward tried to put him in military school. Luke apologizes for getting him in trouble but tells him not to take any unnecessary risks for him but to just be on the lookout for them. Dillon asks him why he needs the cards. Luke tells him they are worth a lot of money and that he needs a fortune to start a new life out of Port Charles before he ends up behind bars for the rest of his life. Dillon feels bad about having the cards.

Georgie comes over later to see him. He brings her up to his room. She tells him she is sorry for not believing him and that when she got home and thought about things she realized Edward lied to her. She tells him she loves him but is afraid to make love to him. He tells her he loves her too and that he can wait until she is ready to make love. He shows her the playing cards he stole from the family for his mother. He tells her that he knows his mother is going to use the playing cards in a bad way and that he feels bad for Sam's father and for Luke. She asks him what he is going to do with them now that he has them. He tells her that he doesn't know what to do now. She tells him to hold on to the cards awhile longer and agrees to be his partner in crime by keeping the cards in her diary at home since no one would suspect them to be at the home of the police commissioner. Dillon calls him mother later to tell her that they need to meet soon to talk. Luke goes back downstairs where Skye is looking at Lila's old playing cards. Luke confronts her about stealing the card from him earlier and replacing it with one of Lila's old cards. He asks her to give it back. She tells him it is too late, she gave it back to Jax. Luke can't believe she would do something like that because she still has a crush on her ex. She tells him that Jax needs those cards for his father. Luke hears a car pull up and the cops announce their arrival. He looks at Skye and asks her how the cops knew where he was. She tells Luke that she called the cops on him to get rid of him finally.

At Mac's Place, Dillon is shocked when Georgie confides that she is hiding the cards from the Dead Man's Hand in Georgie's Diary. Although Dillon remains unconvinced the cards are safe, Dillon finally leaves, while Georgie waits for a math tutor Mac hired to help Georgie ace the college entrance exams. Unknown to Georgie and Dillon, Sam is spying on them through Georgie's bedroom window. Jax catches Sam with her ladder against Mac's house and warns Sam that she is peeping at the house of the Police Commissioner himself! Jax offers to pay Samantha $1 million each for the cards that Sam has and Sam agrees to think about Jax's proposition. Later, Jax meets with Dillon and offers Dillon $1 million for each of the cards that Dillon has in his possession. Dillon doesn't exactly admit that he has the cards, but promises to bring to cards to Jax if Dillon ever finds them. Meanwhile, Samantha arrives in Georgie's room and, passing herself off as the expected tutor, Samantha finds a way to send Georgie out of the room for some ice water and Samantha grabs the cards while Georgie is gone. Later, Dillon rushes home with the news that the cards are worth $1 million each. But, when Dillon and Georgie go to get the cards, they are stunned when they discover the cards are missing! Dillon calls Jax and alerts Jax that Samantha now has Dillon's cards.

Dillon and Georgie talk at Kelly's. Georgie feels stupid for falling for Sam's pretending to be her new tutor and allowing her to steal the cards from her diary. Dillon tells her that her mother wasn't too happy with him and with his luck, his mother will probably send him to military school herself. Dillon tells her that the cards are gone and there is nothing they can do now. Dillon asks her to go with him to the masquerade ball later that night. She is surprised he has tickets to that. He tells her that his grandmother is the honorary chairperson in charge of the masquerade ball and wants him to go. Georgie agrees to go with him as his date. At the masquerade ball, Dillon and Georgie show up dressed like Robin Hood and a flapper. Later, the room's lights are dimmed and the stage lights up with a magician in a mask. He holds out a scarf and then magically a playing card appears in his hand and one after another is displayed until all the playing cards are in his hands. Jax recognizes the playing cards as the "dead man's hands" playing cards. Dillon, and A.J. as well as Sam, who shows up all dressed up notices what they are as well.

Jax, Sam, Dillon, Georgie, A.J., and Skye watch while the magician reveals the "dead man's hands" to all of them and then makes himself disappear in a cloud of smoke. Dillon learns that Luke stole the cards from Sam. They all go to Luke's club, they find Luke waiting for them. He invites them all in for his private auction of the cards. He asks someone to start the bidding war. Dillon starts it by yelling out $1 million. A.J. continues it. Jax reluctantly adds on another money wager and he ends up in a bidding war with A.J. and Sam. Jax reminds Sam that she doesn't have any money. She tells him that she can raise $5 million by playing poker any time and win that kind of money. Jax continues on. Dillon tries to add on. A.J. asks him where he is getting that kind of money. Dillon tells him his mother Tracy will pay for it. However, as the bidding gets more into the multi-million dollar range, Dillon puts his stick down and stops wagering. Jax keeps upping the wager until it gets to $10 million. A.J. wants to continue but Skye interrupts and reminds A.J. that he needs Edward's approval to spend all that kind of money and makes a plea for Jax's father, who really needs the cards and he shouldn't have to spend millions of dollars to get what belongs to his father anyway. Luke tells her to stop interfering and tells her to sit down. Jax gets the cards for $10 million. Jax pockets the cards. Sam saddles up to him and starts to act like nothing happened with their partnership. Jax tells her he has no interest in conducting business with her and tells her to go away. Suddenly, some gas comes out of the vent and everyone starts to fall to the floor, unconscious. A man in what looks like an astronaut suit comes in and takes the cards and leaves them all there.

Dillon and Georgie go to the police station. Dillon wants to speak to Luke to find out if he knows who stole the cards at his club. Luke isn't interested in what Dillon has to say since Dillon allowed the cards to get stolen from him to begin with and didn't listen to him before. Dillon reminds Luke that he owes him since he dressed in drag to act as a decoy during Stefan's funeral. Luke agrees to tell him what he knows about who could have stolen them. Dillon and Georgie show up at Jake's. They watch as Sam, Jax, and Newell talk about the cards and figure out that Newell does have them and is about to hand them over to Jax for money. Newell leaves to go get the cards and return to Jax and Sam. Newell returns and goes to hand over the cards but there are not in his pocket. Newell, is stunned they are gone. Jax can't believe they are gone. Georgie watches from the bar and leaves to go meet Dillon outside the bar. Dillon shows her the cards. Georgie asks him what he is going to do now that he has the cards back. Dillon is torn between selling the cards to the highest bidder or handing them over to Luke to auction them off. Georgie asks him to make a decision, selling the cards to save himself or giving them to Luke.

Jax leaves Jake's bar and overhears Dillon and Georgie discussing what to do with the cards, give them to Luke or to Tracy. Jax offers to pay Dillon $5 million for the cards. Dillon still worries that Tracy may still send him to military school for losing the cards in the first place. Jax reassures Dillon that he will talk to Tracy himself and convince her that the $5 million will be worth it to her. Dillon asks him why the cards are so important for him to have. Jax tells him that his father owned the cards and that he lost his will to live when he lost most of them. Jax tells him he promised his father he will do anything to get them back for him. Dillon tells him that "they seem to be sticking to that same story to get the cards." Jax asks him what he is talking about. Dillon explains that the woman who has been hanging around Jax told him the same sob story when he first met her. Sam comes out of Jake's. Jax looks at her and asks her if she has no shame. Sam looks up at him with her puppy-dog eyes and apologizes for using his story as her own to get the cards but she didn't have a good story herself. Dillon agrees to the transaction and hands over the cards to Jax. Georgie hugs him and tells him she is proud of him and loves him for making the right decision.

Dillon is on the docks. He sees the young woman who tried to kill Alexis at the courthouse but didn't manage to do it and watches her as she jumps into the pier. Dillon goes after her to rescue her. A soaked Dillon and Sage go to Dillon's room to dry off when Georgie shows up at the window. Dillon immediately hides Sage under his bed but things become very tense for him as he tries to persuade a very determined Georgie out of making love right then and there.

As Sage brandishes a gun in Alexis's face, Dillon enters the empty court room and grabs Sage, just as Sage fires and Alexis falls to the floor. As Dillon grabs Sage's gun, Sage informs Dillon that the gun held only blanks, because all Sage wanted to do was terrify Alexis! As Lucky enters the court room with gun drawn, Dillon turns toward Lucky with Sage's gun still in his hand and Lucky shoots Dillon! Officer Capelli arrives and realizes that Dillon is not badly hurt and orders an ambulance, while Alexis explains that the gun held only blanks. When Dillon arrives at the hospital, Georgie sees Dillon coming in and rushes to his side. Mac arrives at the Hospital and quizzes Dillon about the incident with Sage's gun. Dillon finally admits that he had seen Sage earlier on the docks. Mac becomes angry when he learns that Dillon knew Sage had a gun before Sage confronted Alexis but failed to notify anyone with the authority to deal with an angry teenager with a gun. Sage pays a visit to Dillon in the hospital! Georgie catches Dillon and Sage kissing in one of the recovery rooms. She confronts them about it. Dillon tries to defend himself by claiming that Sage kissed him and not the other way around.

Sage interrupts and lies to Georgie and tells her that he kissed her first. Georgie asks her to leave. She leaves but she follows her out of the room. She grabs Sage and tells her to keep away from her b tells her that Alexis deserved it since she killed her father, Louis Alcazar. Sage tells her that she was stuck at boarding school and that she has been deprived of being with her father because of Alexis. Georgie is shocked by this news but even more shocked and upset when she finds out that Sage was hiding under Dillon's bed the other night while she was on his bed kissing him and wanting him to make love to her. Sage tells her she heard everything and thought it was funny and pathetic to listen to her plead for Dillon to take her virginity.

Dillon has a dream that Sage comes into his room dressed in a white leather nurses' outfit and kisses him. He wakes up to find his mother, Tracy standing over him after kissing his cheek. He asks her what she is doing there. She tells him he failed his mission to help her with the cards. He apologizes to her but explains that he had his hands full with everyone trying to get the cards from him. She takes the "dead man's hand" out of her purse. She criticizes him for not being focused and prioritizing the cards in his life. Dillon complains about her lack of motherly instincts and feels resentful about her leaving him with his crazy family.

Georgie walks in wearing her usual hospital volunteer shirt. Tracy thinks she is just some volunteer and orders her to get rid of his horrible looking breakfast and informs her that the Quartermaine family practically owns the hospital. Dillon is mortified by how badly Tracy is treating Georgie. He interrupts Tracy's tirade and tells her to stop. She looks at him and he tells her that the girl she is yelling at is his girlfriend, Georgie. Tracy looks at him in disbelief and asks him if Georgie is pregnant. Dillon can't believe her nerve and explains that he is with Georgie because he wants to be with her and that Georgie is the first person to care about him and what happens to him unlike his family. Tracy can't believe that Edward and Ned allowed him to date Georgie. Georgie tries to leave them alone to talk but Dillon wants her to stay and for Tracy to apologize to her for her behavior towards her. Tracy refuses to apologize to Georgie and asks Georgie to run along and thinks she should understand how she feels being a protective mother. Georgie makes a wise crack about how she will be leaving even though Dillon hasn't had a mother around so far to help him. Tracy tells him that she plans for him to run ELQ someday. Dillon tells her he doesn't want to work for ELQ or run it someday and has plans someday to be a film director. She tells him that won't happen and that what she needs to do now that she will be staying around for a while is to find him a father. Dillon dresses up and Georgie asks him where he is going. He tells her he is sorry for how his mother treated her. He tells her he needs to find a job that will pay more than minimum wage so he can be financially solvent to avoid living with his mother. Georgie hugs him and worries about him.

Dillon goes to see Alcazar at his apartment. He tells Alcazar that he needs a job working for him so he can afford his own place to live so he can get out from under his mother's control. Alcazar tells him he doesn't have a job for him right now but Dillon is adamant about doing anything for Alcazar to get paid well enough to live on his own. Alcazar tells him he does have a job for him after all. He tells him that his niece Sage is going to be living with him now and that he wants him to watch her while he is working. Sage comes downstairs. Dillon is floored when he realizes who Sage is related to. He reacts in disbelief when he realizes he has to keep an eye on her. He asks him if it is true that he has been hired to baby-sit Sage. Sage just smiles in amusement when Alcazar nods that it is true.

Sage makes unrealistic demands on Dillon in his new position as her constant companion to which sends Georgie into a tailspin and the two begin to argue. Dillon takes Georgie away to explain to her that he needs this job or face being sent away to military school by his mother. After she tells him that she wants to make that night, Dillon reassures her that Sage is nobody and that she is his job but that Georgie is his love. Sage tries to talk Dillon into continuing his arrangement with Alcazar to be her companion. Knowing there's no use in fighting her, Dillon agrees. Courtney is taken aback when she runs into Brian, who says that the Port Charles Police Department offered him a job.

Feeling insecure about Dillon spending so much time with Sage, Georgie goes shopping with Maxie and tries to jazz up her image. At the same time, Dillon tries to prevent Sage from drinking, so Sage turns on music and begins to indulge in a strip-tease. When Dillon gets a call from Georgie, he rushes out and Sage reminds Dillon that her uncle objects to Dillon leaving early but Dillon leaves any way! As soon as Dillon leaves, Sage begins drinking. Later, Dillon is surprised when he meets Georgie on the docks and finds her decked out in a black leather outfit. Sage arrives at Kelly's and begins to do a sexy dance by herself in the middle of the dining room. When Elizabeth informs Sage that that kind of behavior is not allowed at Kelly's, Sage threatens to have her uncle buy the place and change the rules unless Elizabeth calls Dillon!

Meanwhile, on the docks, Georgie and Dillon plan to meet secretly later that night in Dillon's room, but they are interrupted by Mac, who lets Georgie know that he does not approve of her new image! Dillon leaves when he receives a call from Elizabeth about Sage. When Dillon arrives at Kelly's, Sage throws herself into his arms and kisses him. At the same time, Georgie goes to Dillon's room, undresses and waits for Dillon. But Georgie is surprised when Dillon's mother arrives instead! Meanwhile, as Dillon hauls Sage out of Kelly's, Dillon declares to Sage that he is going to go to his room and make love to Georgie all night! At that moment, Mac arrives, overhears Dillon's declaration and threatens to arrest Dillon!

Tracy puts Georgie down for not being good enough for Dillon and tells her to stay out of his life. Georgie defends herself and tells Tracy that Dillon loves her and vise-versa and that she would never trap Dillon by getting pregnant. She tells Tracy that he will hate her for what she is doing. Tracy laughs at her and tells her that Dillon will be upset with her but will forgive her. She upsets Georgie further by mentioning that Dillon will be better off with Sage since she is of proper breeding to be with Dillon. Tracy tells her to get out of Dillon's room. Dillon has to deal with a very angry Mac, who overhears him tell Sage that he is going to go home right now and make love to Georgie all night long. Dillon tries to defend himself. Sage interrupts and tells Mac that Dillon was just upset with her and that she is to blame for egging him on and that she saw him coming over and wanted to get Dillon in trouble. Mac is somewhat placated when Sage informs Mac that Dillon and Georgie are both still virgins. Mac tells Dillon that he should show more respect for his daughter than talking with Sage about her in public. Dillon agrees with him that he won't say anything so personal in public. Mac isn't reassured and points out that Dillon says a lot of things and never comes through with his promises. Sage expects a thank you from Dillon for saving his butt. He is upset with her for causing trouble for him.

Alcazar shows up at Kelly's and asks how things are going. Sage tells him that Dillon is doing his job and not to worry. Dillon tells them he is done work for the day and leaves. Sage tells him that Dillon's girlfriend doesn't like her and wants her to stay away from Dillon. Sage asks him if he was with his new girlfriend. He admits to her that he is in love with some woman but won't tell her who it is. He tells her that he hopes that she will become a graceful and strong woman like her someday. Dillon goes home and heads right to his room hoping Georgie is there waiting for him like they pl waiting for him. He asks her what she did when he doesn't see Georgie waiting for him. Tracy tells him that Georgie was here in his room and that she sent her away. Dillon tells her that he loves Georgie and doesn't want anyone else. Tracy mentions that Sage is a better match for him than Georgie. Dillon tells her that she has no right to come back into his life after dropping him off on the family. She plays hardball with him and threatens to send him to military school if he insists on being with Georgie.

Georgie shows up at Kelly's to find Sage sitting outside at one of the tables. She approaches her and tells her to stay away from Dillon and that this is not some competition where Dillon is the prize. Sage tells her that she is the one who is treating this like some competition and that if it was she would win since she has more style and class than Georgie and that Dillon may want to be with her during the day but is thinking about her at night. She tells her that she could have Dillon in her bed by the end of the week if she wanted. Georgie slaps Sage hard in the face enough to knock her to the ground. Dillon witnesses it and comes over and asks Georgie what she is trying to do. Georgie looks at him in shock over his reaction. Sage just touches her face and smiles smugly at Georgie. Georgie slaps Sage hard across the face after Sage berates her for being a virgin still. Dillon grabs Georgie and asks her what she is doing. Sage acts apologetic and tells Dillon not to blame Georgie and takes the blame for what happened. Georgie doesn't buy her act and tells Dillon that Sage said that she was going to have him in her bed by the end of the week. Dillon tells her that is not going to happen and makes it clear to Sage that Georgie is his girlfriend and that won't change. Georgie is still angry and gets even angrier when Dillon seems to take Sage's side in the argument for a moment. She tells him to go to hell and leaves Kelly's.

Georgie slips in to the Quartermaine Mansion to make sure that Dillon is okay. Tracy spots Georgie slipping in and blasts Georgie and Dillon for continuing to meet in secret. After Georgie leaves, Tracy again threatens to send Dillon to Military School. However, Dillon argues that, with his new job that he no longer needs to depend on Quartermaine handouts and can afford to be with Georgie without threats hanging over his head. Later, Sage meets with Dillon and asks him to find out whatever he can about Carly. Later, as Dillon hands over information about Carly to Sage, Sage is surprised that her uncle would be so taken with such an obvious nut case as Carly. Georgie spots Dillon and Sage together and blasts Dillon for failing to call her after the encounter with Tracy. When Georgie insists that Dillon give up his job baby~sitting Sage, Dillon insists that the job with Alcazar makes it possible for Dillon to avoid military school and stay in town. Georgie insists that she would rather see Dillon in Military School than dead from a stray bullet aimed at Alcazar! After Georgie leaves, Alcazar suddenly arrives and announces that he wants Dillon to take Sage out of the country for safekeeping.

Dillon shows up at GH to see Georgie to explain that he has to leave town to protect Sage on Alcazar's orders. Sage is right behind him and tells her that they have to go away together and insinuates that they will be doing a lot more than hanging out together. Georgie isn't too happy with the news and doesn't understand why Alcazar thinks that Dillon can protect Sage from Sonny's men. Dillon tells her he doesn't want to go but he has to do his job and go with Sage. Two of Sonny's men get off the elevator. Dillon makes Sage go wait near the elevators so he can talk to Georgie without her trying to cause trouble. Sage runs over and tells Dillon they have to make a run for it and lies and says that Sonny's men just got off the elevator and are watching her every move. Dillon believes her and tells Georgie he has to take Sage and find another exit to go out of so Sonny's men won't see them.

Alcazar sees them leave. Georgie asks him why he is putting Dillon in danger and making him protect his niece when he doesn't know how to. Alcazar tells her he understands that she doesn't like his niece and worries about her being alone with Dillon but tells her that if they really love each other no one will be able to come between them ever. Dillon and Sage get sent to some hotel room out of the country. Sage starts to come on to Dillon who shows no interest in sleeping with her and tells her the only woman he is dreaming about right now is Georgie and tries to call her. He gets her answering service and leaves her a message that he got to his destination safely with Sage and tells her he loves her. Sage isn't pleased that her plan to seduce him isn't working and starts to call him names. He in return puts her in her place and tells her he'd rather be with someone like Georgie than a slut like her. Sage turns around and starts to change her tune and acts all nice to him again. She picks up a champagne bottle and suggests they make the best of it for now. Dillon picks up another bottle of champagne and drinks from the bottle. He ends up getting drunk and tries to set up a booby trap for any intruder who tries to come in and starts to stagger all over the place. He starts rambling on about movies while Sage starts to take off her shirt and then she jumps on him and kisses him. Later, Georgie returns Dillon's call on his cell-phone and Sage answers it. She insinuates that Dillon and she have been fooling around and tells her that Dillon went out to get more champagne and that she shouldn't call back again and hangs up on her. In reality, Dillon is passed out on the bed. Sage's claim that she and Dillon made love rings as being an obvious lie to Dillon. After a conniving Sage claims she was attacked, Dillon goes after Antonio Juarez, which results in Dillon being held at gunpoint.

Back in Port Charles, Tracy swings a deal with the nervous Georgie that she'll make sure Dillon stops working for Alcazar if Georgie breaks up with him. Tracy promises to force Dillon to stop working for Alcazar on the condition that Georgie breaks up with him. Angry, Georgie refuses. However, when Tracy asks her if she really wants to keep Dillon safe, Georgie wavers. Upon Tracy's reassurance that she can protect her son, Georgie finally acquiesces.

Dillon is thrown into jail for hitting the man he thought attacked Sage. When he says that the man attacked her, however, Sage informs him that he hit the wrong guy. The man he actually punched was Antonio Juarez, the most popular musician in Latin America. Antonio's lawyer threatens Dillon for causing the star to miss his video shoot, and demands millions in damages. Once the lawyer leaves, Sage admits she lied to the police and told them that Dillon was crazy in an effort to help him. She also admits that she was never attacked, but did it to see if Dillon would try to protect her. Dillon grows enraged with Sage and the situation, but is forced to play along when the attorney returns. Sage tries to reason with the lawyer, but he refuses to buy their tale until Tracy walks in and shocks Dillon with her presence. She plays along with the ploy, and-thick wad of money in hand-offers to cut a deal with the attorney. Once free, Dillon arrives back at General Hospital with Tracy and Sage. He calls for Georgie, who is ecstatic to see that he's safe. She moves to hug him, until she sees Tracy. Remembering her part of the deal, she picks a fight with Dillon, accuses him of sleeping with Sage, and breaks up with him. Not realizing his mother forced Georgie's hand, Dillon is shocked and devastated when she ends things. Tracy and Sage happily watch the events.

Georgie has a hard time concentrating on her volunteer work at GH. Maxie comments on her lack of concentration and suggests she go and talk to Dillon and get back together with him. Georgie tells her she can't do that and eventually explains that she made a deal with Dillon's mother Tracy to break up with him if Tracy agreed to keep him away from Alcazar and Sage to keep him safe. Maxie tells her that Tracy doesn't like her and that she probably just made up the deal to keep her away from Dillon. Georgie admits she is jealous of Sage. Maxie tells her that she loves Dillon and he loves her and she should get back together with him. Georgie admits she loves him just as Dillon walks off the elevator and heads toward her. He tries to get her to listen to him about how he doesn't want Sage only her. He tells her that he only trusts her and that he wants to spend the holidays with her. Georgie begins to soften but stops herself, thinking of her deal with Tracy. She tells him that sometimes love isn't enough for a relationship to work. He disagrees with her and tries to get her to stop feeling threatened by Sage. She accuses him of wanting to be with Sage and accuses him of sleeping with her. He denies he slept with her. Sage gets off the elevator. Georgie gets stubborn and lashes out at him to go away. Sage uses that opportunity to sidle up to him to upset Georgie, who is watching from afar and seething. Dillon pushes away from Sage and has no interest in taking her to the Fellini film festival that night.

Sage shows up at the Quartermaine mansion. Dillon tries to stay in his room and sulk but Tracy makes him give Sage a tour of the Quartermaine mansion. Dillon reluctantly agrees to give her a tour. Sage lures him to his bedroom to talk. She tells him that she can relate to him and that she doesn't know whether her uncle even loves her and that she can't make friends easily because she is rich and spoiled and no one likes her. Dillon can relate to the fact that he grew up[ with no friends around and grew up rich as well. She tells him that she is actually a virgin herself and that she lies about being experienced because she doesn't care if she makes friends or not. Dillon doesn't believe her at first but then starts to listen to her and they end up sitting on his bed talking. She grabs him and kisses him and suggests they make love and ease the loneliness in their lives. This time Dillon kisses her back. When Tracy doesn't see them return right away she guesses what they are doing in his room. Georgie shows up to talk to Tracy and to see Dillon. Tracy tells her he is up in his room but fails to mention that Sage is there. Georgie confronts her about the deal they made and soon she realizes that Tracy never held her end of the deal to keep him away from danger. Tracy laughs at her naiveté. Georgie accuses her of being the worst mother in the world. Tracy snaps back at her and mentions how her own mother Felicia isn't exactly around either. Georgie tells her that she loves Dillon and wants to keep him safe. Tracy has a turn-around and apologizes about trying to keep her son away from her when he obviously is heartbroken about their breakup. She tells Georgie that Dillon is upstairs in his room and is inconsolable and suggests she go upstairs and talk to him. Georgie falls for Tracy's trap and goes upstairs. She knocks lightly on the door and doesn't hear an answer and worries about Dillon. Dillon and Sage have just slept together. Georgie opens the door and finds them in bed but tries not to make a sound but is devastated to see him in bed with Sage.

Georgie walks in on Dillon and Sage in bed. She tells Dillon that she had come to apologize to him. He jumps out of the bed and tries to apologize to her, but she refuses to listen to him. Sobbing, she screams at him to never speak to her again, and runs downstairs. Dillon is visibly crushed. Georgie runs into the living room and yells at Tracy for tricking her into finding Dillon with Sage. Dillon dresses and angrily accuses Sage of setting him up. Sage gets upset and claims that this was all real for her, that she was a virgin, and it meant something to her. Dillon tells her that he wished it had never happened. He then angrily confronts his mother, telling her that he loves Georgie. She tries to reason with him, but he leaves, devastated. Sage takes off and runs into her uncle, who she pleads with to get her out of Port Charles. Alcazar tells her that he can't leave Carly, and that running away from someone you care about is not the answer.

Later, Georgie tells Maxie what happened with Dillon and Sage. Maxie tries to comfort an inconsolable Georgie, and later goes to the Quartermaine mansion to find Dillon. Maxie blasts him for hurting Georgie, and tells him about the deal Georgie made with Tracy. She then tells him to stay away from her sister. Dillon goes to GH and finds Georgie anyway. He tells her that he is sorry, that he knows about the deal, and that he truly thought she didn't love him when she broke up with him. He explains that he was devastated and decided he had no reason to keeping putting off Sage if Georgie didn't truly love him. Georgie refuses to forgive him.

A heartbroken Georgie looks over pictures of her and Dillon that are posted in her locker, but refuses to speak to him when he approaches her. As Dillon tries to again explain his actions, Sage walks up and announces that she has enrolled at the high school and is taking all of Dillon's classes. Enraged, Georgie attacks her for being a stupid slut who went after her boyfriend. She's shocked when Dillon defends Sage, saying that Georgie ought to blame him. Once Georgie storms off, Sage thanks Dillon for sticking up for her. She thickly lays on the charm to Dillon, telling him that he's the reason she's staying in Port Charles and going to school, and that he makes her feel better about herself. Dillon falls for her act and agrees to help her acclimate to the new school, although it is clear that Georgie is the girl who has his heart. Later at GH, Georgie tells Maxie that she won't just let go of what happened with Dillon, and she vows to make him suffer. Determined to hurt him, she flirts with a popular basketball player who is at the hospital for an injury. She continues her ruse until the boy's girlfriend shows up, but she still demands that Dillon pay for hurting her.

Faith runs into Sage Alcazar on the pier. She warns that she shouldn't hang out on the pier alone at night or she may end up getting snatched by someone. Sage tells her that she shouldn't threaten her because her uncle doesn't like her and will go after her if she tries to hurt her. Faith gets a kick out of seeing Sage all upset and feeds on it by egging her on. Dillon comes over and tells Sage to go and let him handle it. He tells Faith that he is Sage's bodyguard and tells her to leave Sage alone. Faith asks him if he is suddenly hot for Sage instead of Georgie now. Dillon tells her to leave Sage alone. Maxie calls Georgie on her cell-phone while she is doing her volunteer work at the hospital. She tells Maxie she isn't supposed to take calls when she is working. Maxie tells her that there is some hot looking guy she met who seems perfect for Georgie because he is smart like her. Maxie takes a digital picture somehow of him through her cell-phone and Georgie sees what he looks like over the phone and thinks he is good looking. Georgie decides to go check him out herself in person at Kelly's.

When she arrives at Kelly's, Maxie is sitting with him at the table laughing at some of his jokes. She introduces them to each other. The teenage boy's name is Guy. Georgie and Guy hit if off while talking about school classes. Maxie makes an excuse to leave them alone. Guy invites her to join him in the skating park to watch all the skaters fall. Georgie is reluctant to go with him but changes her mind and goes with him and they sit and laugh on one of the benches. Dillon and Sage find them talking and laughing and Dillon gets jealous. When Georgie spots them looking at her and Guy, she laughs even harder to make him even more jealous. Georgie finds out that Guy's father was in the Air Force and that he works as a pilot. She tells him that her dad is the police commissioner.

Dillon and Sage approach them. Sage makes it a point to tell Georgie that they are headed to a double-feature where it will be dark for hours to insinuate that they will be making out. Dillon ignores Sage. Dillon finds out that Guy is a movie buff like himself and tries to one-up him in movie trivia knowledge. Guy is very friendly towards Dillon and Dillon reluctantly introduces himself to him as well as Sage. As they walk away together, Guy looks at them and makes a remark about their looks. Georgie thinks he is talking about Sage and asks him what guy's see in her and makes a remark that Sage isn't that pretty. Guy looks at her and surprises her by saying that he was referring to Dillon as being hot. She stares at him in disbelief and asks him if he thinks Dillon is cute. Guy tells her he does. She asks him if he is gay and he admits that he is. They continue to talk on the bench seat and Guy advises her to give Dillon another chance if she loves him still and that it is obvious by looking at Dillon that he still loves her too the way he reacted to them talking. Georgie goes back to the hospital and looks up some website on "teen speed dating." Maxie arrives in her volunteer clothes and asks Georgie why she isn't on her date with Guy. She tells her that she and Guy weren't right for each other and that he suggested some website for her to check out and informs Maxie that Kelly's is having some speed dating night where you can meet several guys for a few minutes each and then right down your name on a card to give to a guy you want to know more about and give it to him. Maxie thinks it is desperate of Georgie to want to date like this when it is obvious that she is still in love with Dillon and really wants to be with him. Georgie tells her that Dillon and she have to move on now.

At General Hospital, minutes before the pediatrics children arrive for the Christmas celebration, and in front of Dillon and Tracy, Sage and Georgie get into a fight. The girls attack each other, shrieking insults, until Brian and Dillon are able to pry them apart and they are told to behave. Things eventually settle, and the children arrive to see Santa (played by Cameron), and hear Alan give the traditional Christmas reading.

Georgie attends a speed dating party at Kelly's. Sage walks in and ruins Georgie's first match up, and the second guy is a boring geek. The third proves to be cute and interesting, until he admits to Georgie that he's at least a decade older than she is. Upset at the disastrous events, Georgie is about to give up until Dillon walks up to her and says he's her next speed date. He tries to get through to her, but she's unable to get past him sleeping with Sage. They continue to talk, however, until Sage ends the session and interrupts them. Her presence sends Georgie running out of the restaurant, and angers Dillon. He is enraged by her manipulations, and makes it clear that he made a mistake with her and is in love with Georgie. Outside, Maxie finds Georgie and tells her that she sent Dillon to Kelly's. Georgie is crushed when she thinks that Dillon is only trying to help her because he pities her. She refuses to work things out with him if he only feels bad that she's alone, and she decides to invent a boyfriend to make him jealous. She walks back into the restaurant, on the phone with Maxie but pretending it's a boy. Dillon overhears her call and thinks that it's real.

As the Quartermaines assemble for New Year's dinner, they learn that the Port Charles Grille refused to send over a dinner on credit. Dillon and Colman arrive and after Dillon delivers the bad news about their dinner, Coleman invites everyone to celebrate at Jake's. But the Quartermaines decline the offer. As the Quartermaines squabble, Dillon slips off into another room and falls asleep in front of an old movie. Dillon dreams that he is in the middle of a silent movie. Dillon dreams that he is a Country Bumpkin just off the turnip truck. Dillon has come to the big city to search for his true love Vivi and to find his real family, the Sterlings.

Mom and Pop Bumpkin (Cameron and Alexis), down on the farm, discover their son is gone and head to the big city to rescue him from scarlet women and demon rum. In the meantime, Judge Sterling (Edward) chastises his daughters (Monica, Skye and Tracy) for failing to give him an heir. In another part of town, two bandits (Skye and Coleman) are being pursued by the Keystone Cops (Scott, Ric and Lucky). The thieves are dressed in the same type of outfits being worn by Mom and Pop Bumpkin. Loose Woman Faith and her daughter, Sage, spot Bumpkin right off the turnip truck and discover that he is the heir to the Sterling fortune. Faith and Sage conspire with Faith's brother Snidely (Lorenzo) to get Sage married to Bumpkin, so they can move in on the Sterling fortune. Meanwhile, Lorenzo spots Bumpkin's true love, Vivi (Georgie) and tries to keep her from finding Bumpkin. When Mom and Pop Bumpkin arrive in town, they are mistaken for the robbers and chased by the Keystone Cops, but elude capture, by outwitting the cops.

Judge Sterling learns that one of his daughters produced an heir out of wedlock. When all the daughters claim credit for producing an heir, Judge Sterling turns ALL the women out in the snow! At the same time, Vivi finds Bumpkin, just as Siren Sage throws herself into Bumpkin's arms. Catching Bumpkin embracing Siren Sage, Vivi declares that they are through and runs away. Siren Sage, with the help of Lorenzo and Faith, hustle Bumpkin into a wedding. When Lorenzo learns that Bumpkin is still pining for his true love, Lorenzo shows Bumpkin that Vivi has turned into a fast-and-loose flapper! Bumpkin marries Sage, but disappoints the girl when he insists that they move back to the farm to live with Mom and Pop Bumpkin. Siren Sage soon gets fed up with life on the farm and runs home to mother. Meanwhile, hoping to keep Sage and Bumpkin together, Lorenzo finds Vivi toiling at Kelly's and kidnaps the girl. Then Lorenzo calls Bumpkin on the farm to let him know that he has kidnapped Georgie. Bumpkin rushes to the city to rescue Georgie and Mom and Pop Bumpkin follow their son back to the city. Meanwhile, Tracy returns to Edward with a photograph that proves that Bumpkin is her son. Mom and Pop Bumpkin arrive at the Sterling Mansion, looking for their son. The Bumpkins confirm that Tracy's claim that she is the birth mother of Bumpkin is true. Meanwhile, the Keystone Cops follow Mom and Pop Bumpkin to the Sterling Mansion. Just as the Keystone Cops are about to arrest the Bumpkins, the REAL robbers (Skye and Coleman) are caught, attempting to loot the Sterling Mansion. The Keystone Cops try to arrest the REAL robbers, but Skye and Coleman soon give the cops the slip.

Bumpkin discovers his true love, Vivi, just as Lorenzo releases a turnip truck that is headed downhill toward the couple. But Lorenzo is foiled when Bumpkin rescues Vivi in the nick of time. Bumpkin and Vivi tie Faith, Sage and Lorenzo up, just as the Keystone Cops arrive, chasing escaped robbers Skye and Coleman. Bumpkin discovers that Lorenzo has been withholding a photograph that proves that Bumpkin is the true heir to the Sterling fortune. Tracy and Edward arrive and welcome Bumpkin to the family. Bumpkin declares that he wants to marry Georgie, but is already married to Sage. Judge Sterling proclaims Bumpkin's marriage to Sage annulled. However, Bumpkin turns down the offer to live at the Sterling mansion and returns to the family farm, where he marries his true love with adopted parents Coleman and Alexis in attendance. When Dillon awakens, he realizes he has a message from Georgie, asking him to meet her at Kelly's. Dillon rushes out, but, when Dillon arrives at Kelly's, Dillon finds only Sage. As the bell tolls the midnight hour, Sage suddenly kisses Dillon.

Dillon tries to get through to Georgie yet again, but fails. Justus overhears their argument and tries to lend Dillon a hand. Citing familial examples, Justus tells Dillon to stick it out and not give up on Georgie. The two bond as quasi-normal members of the Quartermaine clan. Dillon tries to stop Sage from going to find Alcazar. She gets upset with him for not seeming to care whether her uncle could be dead or not. She calls him a loser and takes off. Ned overhears her yelling at Dillon and comes over to find out what is going on with him. Dillon tells him that his life is screwed up right now and doesn't know what to do about it. He tells Ned that he got involved with Alcazar's business when he should have listened to him. Ned tells Dillon to stay out of it and just be a teenager. He tells Dillon that Alcazar is a criminal and should let him shoot his way out of his own problems. Dillon agrees with him to let it go. Ned tells him to think about the one thing in life he wants most.

Georgie finds Maxie at GH and asks for her help. Maxie tells her she is not going to dress like a guy and let Georgie kiss her again. Georgie asks Maxie to help her find a cool guy to date. Maxie suggests she make one up using some program on the computer to come up with the dream boyfriend image. They pick out features on the computer. Dillon shows up at GH to talk to Georgie. Maxie makes an excuse to leave. Dillon admits to Georgie that he made a lot of mistakes in how he handled their relationship. He admitted that he should have listened to Georgie and stayed away from Alcazar and maybe he would have made better choices that way. Georgie understands what he means and starts to warm up to him again. Maxie shows up again and tells Georgie she got an e-mail from her "new boyfriend" Tom and how great looking he is. Georgie tries to signal to Maxie to be quiet but Maxie doesn't see her signal and goes on about Tom thinking Georgie wants to make Dillon jealous. Dillon gets a little sad and tells Georgie that he has to go and walks away. Georgie tells Maxie that she and Dillon were starting to come closer together again until she interrupted. Maxie points out that Georgie got her wish and that Dillon looked jealous like she wanted him to and she should go after Dillon. Georgie tells her it is too late and that now she needs to find a real boyfriend now.

Maxie helps Georgie fool Dillon into thinking she and her new boyfriend are going to sleep together. They discuss her plans loudly enough for Dillon to overhear at Kelly's, and then they head to their house. Georgie begins to doubt her actions, but feels she must act in order to get Dillon to love her again. Maxie spots him on the lawn, and tells Georgie to begin acting like she's making love to Tom. Dillon sees what he thinks is Georgie and Tom in her bedroom window, and he leaves, devastated. He returns to Kelly's and erupts at Sage.

Georgie is devastated when she learns that Dillon was injured when he ran his car into a ditch, but Tracy warns Georgie to keep her distance from Dillon. Georgie later confides to Maxie that she is having second thoughts about the ruse to deceive Dillon into believing that Georgie has a new boyfriend. However, Maxie urges her sister to keep the ruse going just a little longer. Later, when Sage arrives to visit Dillon, Sage finds Tracy waiting there for her. Although Sage suggests that maybe they should leave Dillon and Georgie alone. Tracy insists that Georgie could not possibly be good for Dillon and urges Sage to continue her campaign to capture Dillon's heart. Later, Georgie spots Dillon alone and tries to explain what is going on, but is interrupted by Sage. As they prepare to leave the Hospital, Sage suggests that Dillon should go after Georgie if he truly loves the girl but Dillon declares that it is too late and kisses Sage. Georgie returns just in time to spot Dillon and Sage as they embrace.

Dillon shows up at GH to see Georgie. Maxie is working at the front counter when he gets there. He asks her where Georgie is. She coldly tells him she is working. Dillon tells her he came over to talk to her and to mend fences. Maxie tells him that he should leave Georgie alone and that she thinks he is a loser for sleeping with Sage. Dillon asks Maxie if she is taking out her anger over what Kyle did to her on him because she thinks all men are the same. Maxie denies his accusations and tells him she is trying to make up for the times she was not too nice to Georgie. Dillon asks Maxie if he thinks that "Tom" would be better with Georgie than with him. Maxie tells him that Georgie is happier lately. Georgie seems distracted later at the front desk. Maxie tells her she had her paged because she has been looking all over for her. Maxie tells Georgie that Dillon came back to talk to her to make amends. Georgie starts to make excuses for Dillon's behavior when Maxie tells her what she told him. Georgie tells Maxie she still loves Dillon and that now she will have to make him even more jealous by making up more stuff about her fake boyfriend "Tom" to get Dillon to do something to try and get her back.

Dillon shows up again at GH to talk to Georgie. Georgie gives him the cold shoulder when he tries to get her to forgive him. She tells him that she saw him kissing Sage in the elevator earlier after he had just tried to get her to forgive him before and how she doesn't think she can trust him anymore. Dillon tries to defend Sage and get Georgie to try and understand how empty Sage's life is. Georgie doesn't have any sympathy for Sage. Dillon tells Georgie that she should be more understanding about how hard it is to be a teenager. Georgie asks him if he cares about Sage. He tells her he does but not in the way she thinks. Georgie tells him she is happy with "Tom" and to go back to Sage if he wants and that they are over. Later, Sage shows up and finds Dillon wondering around the hospital. She seems concerned about him and asks him if he is waiting to see a doctor. He tells her about his argument with Georgie. Georgie overhears them talking. Sage tells Dillon that his bitterness reminds her of Humphrey Bogart's character in Casablanca and quotes a line in the movie. Dillon is surprised Sage saw the old movie and could interpret it's meaning so clearly. Sage suggests to him that maybe his time with Georgie was meant to only be for a short time. He offers to walk her home. Georgie realizes that she may have pushed Dillon closer to Sage. Georgie pretends that Tom gave her a promise ring, and she tells Maxie while Dillon overhears from the background. He rushes out of the hospital, and goes to Kelly's where he encounters Sage. She tells him she got them on the high school dance committee, and he's instantly annoyed. The committee nominates Dillon and Sage as the dance king and queen, but he refuses. Instead, Sage suggests Georgie and Tom, and after much hesitation, the committee agrees.

Georgie is appalled when she learns that she and "Tom" have been named king and queen of the Winter Festival, courtesy of Sage. Later, Maxie suggests to Georgie that they should hire a model to play Tom. Meanwhile, Sage tells Dillon that they need a picture of "Tom" for the Winter Festival posters. Dillon admits that he saw Georgie have a picture of "Tom," but insists that if Sage really wants a photograph of "Tom," she should ask Georgie. Sage finds Georgie outside her locker, talking to Maxie. When Sage asks Georgie for a picture of "Tom," Georgie insists that she does NOT have one, although Sage insists that Dillon said he had seen a photo of "Tom." After Georgie and Maxie rush off to class, Sage snoops in Georgie's locker and finds the composite photo of "Tom." Later, Georgie is appalled when she finds that Sage has used the fake photos of "Tom"' on posters for the Festival.

Dillon shows up at Kelly's with Sage. He spots Georgie and Maxie sitting at another table. Sage notices how he can't keep his eyes off Georgie. Dillon shares his suspicions with Sage about how it seems that Georgie is never seen with this "Tom" guy and that every time he is mentioned he happens to be right there when she is on the phone with "Tom" or talking about him. Dillon goes over to talk to Georgie. He tells her he needs to know what she and Tom's favorite song is so they can play it at the dance when they are crowned king and queen at the dance. Georgie doesn't have a favorite song to give him and tries not to be taken off guard by his questions. Maxie makes an excuse about how they are going to be late if they don't leave. Dillon gets more suspicious about how Georgie didn't seem to have a song to give him. Sage tries to shoot down all his theories about "Tom." Sage suggests that Georgie could have made "Tom" up to make him jealous.

Georgie and Maxie show up at the police station to talk to Mac. Georgie asks Mac to use his influence as police commissioner to find some data on some male model that looks like her fake "Tom" boyfriend. Mac tells her that it is against the law to get information on someone without sufficient cause and refuses to help them. He suggests to Georgie that she come clean with Dillon and admit why she did it and that if he loves her he will forgive her and take her to the dance himself. Georgie is reluctant to tell him the truth despite Mac and Maxie's advice to come clean. Georgie worries that she will never survive the humiliation at school if anyone found out "Tom" was not her real boyfriend. Mac gets preoccupied with work and advises Maxie to talk some sense into her sister. They head back to Kelly's. Dillon is still there with Sage. Georgie asks if she can speak to him alone. Dillon is eager to talk to her. Georgie starts to tell him about how she made up the whole "Tom" scenario but doesn't get a chance quite yet when Sage comes over and interrupts them. Dillon tells Sage to butt out of their conversation and go sit back down. Georgie happens to look out the window and sees a guy that looks just like the "Tom" picture she had made up on the computer with Maxie. She smiles to herself.

Dillon talks to Georgie about her boyfriend "Tom." Georgie sees a guy outside Kelly's that looks just like the picture she had made up on the computer. She runs out to try and get a better look at him but he is gone. She asks Nikolas and Emily if they saw a really good looking guy with brown hair just now. They are amused by Georgie's excitement but don't know what guy she is referring to. Georgie goes back inside. Dillon goes outside to find out what Georgie is doing. He gives her scarf to her so she can wrap herself in it since it is so cold outside. He tells her he has a feeling that this "Tom" thing isn't what it appears to be and asks her about it. They go back inside. She tells Dillon that "Tom" must have got back from his ski trip in Nova Scotia earlier. Maxie tells Dillon to butt out of Georgie's life after he starts to question her more about "Tom's" existence. Maxie and Georgie go back to sit down. Dillon tells Sage that he hasn't ever gotten a good look at Tom with Georgie. Sage tells him that Georgie isn't clever enough to come up with a fake "Tom" and points out that Georgie seems pretty calm and happy and that she would be panicking if "Tom" was fake. Maxie tells Georgie that she is running out of time and must find the guy she saw and wonders if Georgie really saw the "Tom" look-alike or was it a figment of her imagination. Georgie gets tired of talking to Maxie and decides to go out looking for her look-alike. She runs into Lucky who is heading inside Kelly's. She tells him he is a good sign and he asks her what she means by that. She tells him she needs a huge favor from him. Later, she comes back inside Kelly's to go back and sit with Maxie. She tells Maxie she asked Lucky to help her by getting into the DMV records to find her "Tom" look-alike but he refused. Maxie can't believe she got the cops involved in this since Mac already refused to help them since it is illegal to break into DMV records without probable cause. Georgie tells her that she is running out of time but thinks that seeing the "Tom" look-alike is a sign that her plan is going to work.

Dillon tells Sage that he isn't interested in attending the dance, and that he knows that Tom is a story that Georgie made up to make him jealous. The two continue to have words at Kelly's, when Alcazar arrives-much to the joy of his niece. She happily leaves with her uncle. Once alone, Dillon is happy to see Georgie show up, and tells her that he thinks Tom is a fake. Georgie is shocked and unable to come up with a story, but Guy saves her by coming up behind Dillon and telling him that he knows Tom. Crushed, Dillon apologizes to Georgie and leaves. Outside, he runs into Sage again, and thinking his chances with Georgie are gone, he agrees to go to the dance with her after all. Back inside, Georgie thanks Guy for his help.

As Georgie meets with Guy at the Port Charles Hotel to discuss the search for "Tom," she runs in to Dillon. Georgie begins to tell Dillon the truth about Tom, but is interrupted again when Sage arrives and hangs all over Dillon. Sage is upset when Dillon rushes away after a tearful Georgie. Meanwhile, Guy spots a possible link to Tom in one of the school's yearbooks and dashes off to find "Tom." Later, as the teens begin to arrive at the Port Charles Hotel for the Winter Formal, Dillon again asks Georgie why Tom has not arrived, but they are again interrupted by Sage. After Sage leaves, Dillon again asks Georgie if Tom is just someone she made up. However, Georgie begins to invent a story about having a fight with Tom because Tom has a terrible temper and Georgie found out that Tom had two other girlfriends besides Georgie. At just that moment, a triumphant Guy arrives with "Tom" in tow. And Dillon slugs the unsuspecting Tom for hurting Georgie's feelings.

Georgie tries not to act surprised when her look-alike "Tom" shows up at the Winter Formal dance and says her name. Dillon walks over him and hits him in the face and tells him it is for cheating on Georgie. "Tom" hits him back. Georgie rushes over to Dillon to see if he is o.k. and asks him why he hit him like that. Dillon tells her it is because he cheated on her and it made him angry. Georgie goes over to try and explain things to "Tom" to get him to cooperate. "Tom" tells her that he only agreed to come and dance once with her because Guy paid him to. Georgie asks him to play along and she will explain things to him later. He agrees to walk out with her and they go to Kelly's.

Dillon mopes around the lobby during the rest of the dance. Sage asks him to move on with his life and to pay her attention since she really likes him and wants to be with him. Dillon tells her that Georgie looks upset and he needs to go to her. She asks him if Georgie is really upset. Dillon tells her she looks nice and he likes her but he can't get over Georgie, even if he wished he could. Georgie brings "Tom" who turns out to be a guy named Travis to Kelly's to talk. He tells her that he thinks she is ok but he isn't interested in pretending to be her boyfriend for pay. Georgie sits at his table anyway and tries to explain to him that she needs to keep from being humiliated by everyone at the high school, including Dillon, who needs to believe "Tom" is her boyfriend and he is real. Travis asks her what she wants him to do. He is disappointed when Georgie has no intention of having sex with him and only wants to be seen from time to time in public with him and for him to kiss her once and a while in public. Tom doesn't like that idea since sex won't be involved in the future. This totally annoys Georgie, who manages to make a deal with him by agreeing to help him get a good grade point average so he can qualify for a scholarship. She even agrees to do his homework for him if he agrees to pretend to be her boyfriend for a while. He agrees. They walk out of Kelly's and are about to shake hands on their deal when Dillon comes from around the corner. Georgie spots him first and grabs Travis and kisses him quickly goodbye and tells him she loves him. Travis tells her the same and leaves. Dillon mentions to her that he noticed they must have made up. She tells him that "Tom" admitted to her that he made up having cheated on her with three girls because he was new to the school and was scared of going to the Winter Formal but realized it wasn't so bad once he got there. Dillon tells her that he reacted the way he did at the dance because he can't stand to see her with some other guy. He wishes her happiness with "Tom" and leaves. Georgie starts to feel guilty again for deceiving him like this.

Maxie finds Zander hiding out in a hospital room (he is on the run from the police for a murder he didn’t commit). Maxie helps him evade the police and escape GH. Maxie rushes a disguised Zander through the hotel lobby, and takes him down to the boiler room. When Dillon arrives at the hotel, he is shocked when Edward offers to revise his will to make Dillon the primary heir of the Quartermaine estate. Edward is likewise shocked when Dillon turns Edward down! Tracy tries to change Dillon's mind, but Dillon brushes his mother off. At Kelly's, Georgie tries to persuade a compliant Tom to spend the night with her at the Port Charles Hotel in order to make Dillon jealous. However, Tom is surprised when Georgie informs him that there will be no hopping in the sack while they are there and Tom turns down Georgie's plan for a night at the Hotel. As Tom leaves, he suggests that Georgie should just tell Dillon the truth. Later, when Dillon spots Georgie at Kelly's, Georgie prepares to tell Dillon the truth about Tom but they are soon interrupted by Sage. So Georgie blurts out that she and Tom are planning to rent a room at the Port Charles Hotel. Sage suggests that perhaps Dillon and Sage also ought to get a hotel room there as well. When Tom arrives unexpectedly, Georgie rushes to Tom and begs him to play along as she talks about their plans for the evening. Sage quietly convinces Dillon that they should get a room, just to prove to Georgie that Sage and Dillon are a solid couple. Dillon reluctantly agrees. Georgie spots Maxie headed to the hotel with a big bag of carry out food. When Georgie questions her sister, Maxie claims she has a sick friend.

Georgie shows up at the Port Charles hotel with "Tom." He isn't very cooperative with her until she reminds him she is paying him to pretend to be her boyfriend. He hands her his term paper assignment on the Civil War to do for him in exchange for his cooperation. She tells him to go pay for their room. They get over to the front desk to check in. Georgie is dismayed to overhear Sage and Dillon talking right behind her. He tells Sage that he booked them a suite since she is so spoiled and wouldn't settle for less. Dillon notices Georgie and "Tom" and isn't happy to see that they rented a room also. The front desk clerk apologizes to them about their rooms not being available due to remodeling and the auction going on there this evening. Sage tells the clerk that any room with a bed will do just fine and looks at Georgie with a knowing gleam in her eye. Georgie glares at her. Both young couples are shown their rooms and aren't happy when they find out their rooms are conjoining ones. They insist on making sure their rooms are locked from each other. Georgie works on "Tom's" term paper while he watches sports and listens to it on headphones. He makes noises to make Dillon think they are having sex. Dillon is moping around the room, jealous about what is going on in the other room. Georgie tells "Tom" to be quiet and stop making so much noise. Dillon thinks they are having sex so he allows Sage to seduce him into having sex. Georgie can hear them in the other room which "Tom" points out to her they are having sex. Georgie tells him she thinks he was right about it not being so great to stay there at the hotel after all and tells him they should leave right now. She opens her door and sees smoke in the hallway. She rushes over and bangs on Sage and Dillon's door and tells them that there is a fire in the hotel and they need to get out.

A fire spreads throughout the basement as Zander lays unconscious on the floor. Edward gets a call from the hotel manager. He tells them that there is a fire in the hotel and that they all must evacuate immediately. Mac and a uniformed cop show up at the hotel and approach the basement door. Mac and the cop draw their weapons as they approach the door. Mac calls out a warning to Smith that they are going inside and to cooperate. They get no answer from Zander. Mac orders the cop to open the door gently and have his weapon ready in case Zander is armed with a gun and tells him he can be dangerous when provoked. The cop opens the door slowly. The fire inside the basement causes a back draft when the door opens and Mac and the cop are blown from the blast of fire. The fire department shows up. Maxie walks into the hotel and sees all the commotion. She becomes alarmed when she sees two paramedics transporting a severely wounded patient toward the doors to the ambulance. Maxie fears it is Zander and approaches the paramedics. She is shaken up when she recognizes the patient as Mac and tells the paramedics that he is her father. She tells them to tell Mac she is ok if he wakes up. Maxie approaches one of the firefighters and asks about the fire. He tells her that the fire seems to have originated from the basement. She tells him that someone is down in the basement and they have to get him out. They inform her that if someone is down in the basement, they most likely didn't survive the fire, which has gone out of control. Maxie is devastated by the news.

Georgie and Tom realize there's smoke and rush to alert Dillon. He grows alarmed, but Sage tells Georgie that she's lame for trying to break them up while they are in a hotel room together. Dillon sees the smoke himself and they all realize they are in danger. Sensing that it could be the end, Georgie admits to Dillon that she's been lying and he's the only person she's ever loved. Before Dillon can respond, Sage begins to freak out. He tries to comfort her, but her uncle bursts into the room and is able to do it instead when he promises that they will all get out.

Maxie breaks down in Mac's hospital room, and begs him to live. She guiltily confesses that she helped Zander, so it is her fault that Mac could die. Maxie walks out into the hospital hallway, where she encounters Cameron. He tries to comfort her, and she breaks the news to him that Zander is dead. Maxie arrives at the fire scene and learns that the body in the basement is no longer thought to be Zander. Maxie implores Ric to continue looking for Zander. Ric reassures Maxie that his plan is to be able to rescue everyone inside the building including Maxie's sister, Georgie!

Lorenzo leads Sage, Dillon, Georgie and Travis up the stairwell, toward the roof. Lorenzo and the young people arrive in the Versailles Room. Lorenzo collapses. Georgie rushes to assist Lorenzo and discovers that he has a bad cut and has lost a lot of blood. As Sage runs to get bandages, Dillon asks Georgie if she meant it when she told him she loved him. They are interrupted when Sage and Travis return with bandages. Travis takes Dillon aside and warns Dillon that he would be a fool to let Georgie get away. Georgie tends to Alcazar's wound on his arm. Sage tells Dillon that she is worried that Alcazar will go after Carly if they don't keep him there. Alcazar wakes up and asks about Carly. They tell him they don't know where she is. Alcazar heads out to the stairwell to go look for her. Dillon thinks fast and hits Alcazar hard enough to knock him out. Sage asks him what he is doing. He apologizes for hitting Alcazar but that he could only think of knocking him out to keep him from going after Carly.

Dillon decides to go out on the balcony to get some fresh air. He doesn't like to see Georgie hugging Tom for comfort just as Sage hugs him after an explosion goes off in part of the hotel and almost knocks out the power. Tom follows Dillon out to the balcony. Tom tells Dillon that Georgie is an amazing person and tries to tell Dillon that he is starting to fall for him for real but Dillon doesn't give him a chance and tells Tom that he should make sure that he does everything to keep Georgie and not be stupid and make the mistake of taking her for granted. Dillon tells Tom that Georgie seems to love him and that when he was with her before she was like having Christmas, the fourth of July and the Super Bowl on the same day. Tom tells him that he thought he was the stupid one. Georgie comes out to check on things. Dillon starts to notice that the wind seems to have died down a bit and maybe a helicopter could try landing on the roof. They go in to get Nikolas to call on the radio for a helicopter to land. Nikolas calls for Lucky on the radio. Lucky agrees to get a helicopter to fly up and land on the roof as soon as possible.

Georgie tries to get Dillon to go to the hospital with her, Sage, and "Tom" to get checked for smoke inhalation. Dillon tells her he can't go to the hospital without first making sure his mother gets out of the hotel safely. Georgie gives him a look of disdain when he mentions his mother. He tells her he understands that his mother can be a rotten person to almost everyone but that she is still his mother and he loves her. Ned grabs Dillon and hugs him and Georgie when he sees them. Georgie takes off to the hospital in a van that is provided for them. Dillon sees Tracy get out of the helicopter and runs to her and hugs her. Ned finds Tracy and hugs her too. Tracy makes a joke about Dillon still loving her despite everything and she hugs both Dillon and Ned and tells them she loves them. Luke almost got on the helicopter when Skye ran to him on the roof of the hotel. He thinks that she changed her mind and decided to go on the helicopter and take his place. She tells him she hasn't changed her mind about that and surprises him by kissing him goodbye. Luke kisses her back passionately. Skye arrives from the helicopter later and reunites with Luke again. They play down their kiss but each of them realizes they don't really regret it that much. They discuss the treasure and who may have stolen it. Luke tells her he hasn't given up finding the treasure and who stole it. Most of the treasure is seen in a dumpster nearby. Jax manages to use mountain climbing gear to shimmy down to a room on one of the floors below them. Sam follows him by climbing down the side of the hotel that isn't on fire. They manage to get outside of the hotel.

Georgie arrives at the hospital along with "Tom" and Sage. She is grabbed by Bobbie who hugs her and is relieved that she came out of the hotel alive. She tells Georgie that Maxie has been worried sick about her and that she should go find her and let her know she is o.k. and has to rush over to treat Brian for his gunshot wounds. Maxie is relieved to find Georgie in the ER alive and well. She grabs her and hugs her. Georgie starts to tell her everything she did to help everyone including Alcazar. She asks Maxie if Mac is around so she can tell him what she did so he will be proud of her. Maxie interrupts her and Dillon enters the ER and overhears them talking. Maxie starts crying and tells Georgie that Mac got caught in a back draft while trying to find Zander and arrest him and that he was burned severely and is in the hospital. Maxie starts to blame herself for what happened and admits to Georgie that she hid Zander out and that she is to blame for Mac being burned. Georgie is upset with the news but hugs Maxie and gives her comfort. Dillon feels bad for Georgie. Maxie tries to help a devastated Georgie remain calm for Mac's sake. Georgie fears she can't go in to see him without breaking down, so Dillon comforts her by offering to go with her and help her out. Georgie goes into Mac's room, and bravely keeps it together as she sits with him. Dillon comforts her after she leaves the room.

Edward collapses from a heart attack and is rushed to General Hospital. Dillon attempts to comfort his mother by telling her that she can love and be frightened for her father. Tracy tells Dillon that her and Edward are alike and don't need love, but rather respect. She tells him that she could handle not having the sentiment, but that she needs Dillon to stand up for himself. He's shaken by her lack of warmth, and realizes how much Edward has molded her. Bobby announces that Edward is out of surgery and asleep, and Tracy goes into his room to sit with him. He wakes up, and upon seeing his daughter, thinks he's in hell. Tracy smiles at him and reassures him she'll take care of the family's business problems just like he'd want her to.

Maxie begs Georgie for money to fund her trip to Canada. She tells her that she's going after Zander, who is wounded and can only be helped by her. Georgie thinks she's crazy, but Maxie says she has to do it. They carry their argument to Kelly's, where Tom, Dillon, and Sage are watching a report of Ric telling the public that Scott Baldwin is alive, and that Zander is the body that was found in the hotel. A devastated Maxie refuses to believe that Zander is dead. She races to the police station to get information, and happens upon Nikolas turning himself in for locking Zander in the furnace room. Nikolas makes it clear that he only detained Zander, so Ric has no problem with letting him go, and Maxie runs out of the station to be comforted by Georgie.

Dillon surprises Sage at Kelly's with birthday pancakes. They compare childhoods and old birthdays. Dillon admits that he set Tom up to kiss Georgie in public so that Georgie would hate Tom. Georgie and Maxie are at the hospital, as Mac's condition has taken a turn. Monica tells them that there is fluid in his lungs and to give him time. Maxie calls Dillon so he can support Georgie in this time. Tracy brings flowers to Georgie and Maxie and says she wants to help in their time of need. Georgie tells them to go to away and Maxie reveals she heard the electrician tell Edward that the wiring was faulty. Tracy tries to cover by saying Edward isn't in his right mind, while Justus has already warned her about possible wrongful deaths suits. Justus said Tracy needs to protect the family and not hide from all responsibility. Sage runs into Tom at Kelly's and Tom reveals that Georgie just wanted him to pretend to be her boyfriend to make Dillon jealous. Dillon arrives at the hospital and is horrified that his mom came to "talk" with Georgie.

Dillon is about to tell Georgie the truth about Edward and his faked insanity, when Tracy comes upon him and grabs him away before he has the chance. She begs him not to tell Georgie the truth, and reminds him that the lawsuits will destroy the Quartermaine family. Dillon says that he doesn't care, that Georgie deserves to know the truth, but Tracy reminds Dillon of how the Quartermaines took him in when she left him in Port Charles, and how they've provided for him ever since. She promises to take care of Maxie and Georgie if Mac dies, and she also mentions how Dillon would destroy his aunt, uncle, and grandmother, in addition to Edward and her, if he told the truth. Dillon decides to keep his mouth shut.

Sage gets Tom to admit that Georgie made a deal with him to pretend to be dating, but he also admits that he's since fallen for her. All too happy to keep Georgie from Dillon, Sage tries to help Tom keep Georgie's attention. She takes him to the hospital and coaches him on what to say to Georgie. Tom walks over to a distraught Georgie and tries to comfort her, but fails miserably. Georgie lashes out at him for his behavior, and Sage is crushed that her plan didn't work. Tracy comes upon Sage, and suggests that Sage seduce Dillon. A distraught Maxie breaks down when Mac doesn't wake up. She goes to the waiting room of the hospital, and prays for help. Someone puts a hand on her shoulder, and she looks up to see Felicia. She rushes into her mother's arms.

Sage wants to know why Tracy is so keen on getting her and Dillon together. Tracy explains that she likes Sage, but also that Georgie will cause problems between Dillon and his family, so she wants Sage to do what she does best: seduce Dillon. When Sage points out that she's already done that and it didn't do much, Tracy remarks that this time she should seduce him and get pregnant. Sage is stunned, but Alan runs up to them and drags Tracy away. Maxie is overwhelmed to see her mother, and she cries in her arms. Felicia tells her how happy she is to see her, and how she's missed hugging her. Maxie is about to believe her, but stops herself first, and asks how long before Felicia leaves town again. Maxie takes her mom to where Georgie and Dillon are talking, and a shocked Georgie happily embraces her mother. She introduces her to Dillon, Sage runs up to interrupt and introduce herself as Dillon's girlfriend.
