A music montage of various PCers, ends showing that Jax slept on the sofa in his and Alexis' room, as did Ned in his and Chloe's room. Chloe and Jax, both wide eyed laying in bed, thinking about one another. Jax and Chloe enjoying a morning in Rome…in disguises, of course. She’s got on some reading glasses and French braid pigtails; he’s in tourist shades, sleeveless shirt, and a camera around his neck. They’re playing German tourists to avoid Gertrude’s prying eyes. A tacky couple from Fort Worth came up and asked to see Chloe’s sketch. She shows it to them, and it’s a fountain that the couple threw coins into when they were on their honeymoon. Our kids are staying in their German tourist characters pretty firmly, pretending not tocompletely understand – but eventually Chloe gives them the sketch, and then they leave the sidewalk café, Chloe’s forgotten her shoes, which Jax smiles as he stops to pick up. Jax and Chloe return to the sidewalk café, fresh from their trip to the fountain. They talk about the magic of the day, and then he says “Kiss me.” She looks deep into his eyes, saying, “Translate, please.” He leans in and kisses her. The gang return from their evening out, then the couples split up - Jax & Chloe in one room, and N&A get some alone time and make love.

Next day, Jax and Chloe are being cute in their German, then chatting in the elevator about her sketchpad, when SURPRISE!! Aunt Gertrude is there paying off the maid to help her surprise her niece by opening the door to Chloe's & Ned's room (where N&A are in bed together). Jax & Chloe hide in the corner, Chloe climbs out the 5th story hallway window and is able to enter her room without detection by Gertrude. Meanwhile, out in the hallway, Jax confronts Gertrude. When she gloats she is about to find Ned in bed with Jax's wife, Jax tells her she is just going to interrupt Ned & Chloe on their honeymoon and embarrass herself. The maid opens the door, Gertrude is shocked to find Ned in bed with Chloe (Alexis is hiding under the bed). Ned indignant ly orders Gertrude out, she reluctantly apologizes and suggests they all go sightseeing the next day (Jax stands behind her making fun). After she leaves, the gang decide that the honeymoon is over and they pack their bags and head back to PC.

Ned bringing Chloe across their THIRD threshold, at the gatehouse. Our fearless foursome continues to obsesses about how the next year is going to be, with Chloe trying to let them back out again. Ned and Alexis talk about the new arrangement. Jax helps Chloe move into the gatehouse. Her suitcase pops open, and they see her dress from playing German tourists. She says it will be her favorite souvenir from her honeymoon. She then points out that Jax doesn’t have an souvenirs, so she gives him her sketch. He says that’s his second favorite memory of his honeymoon. What’s the first? Kissing Chloe, of course. The Jax newlyweds head to Kelly’s. Bobbie and Jerry chat with them about their honeymoons. The Ashton newlyweds join the Q’s for dinner. Lila asks them to play referee while she goes up to bed. A major argument comes about Sonny, which offends Juan and turns the evening around. Chloe calls them all “unforgivable rude” and the Doctor’s Q basically toss Juan out. Emily tries to explain to Ned and Chloe that Juan likes her, and she likes him. She’s frustrated that her parents are making it harder. Chloe tries to placate her, to no avail. Ned and Chloe head down to the gatehouse. Ned heads upstairs, while Chloe stays down, they left the front door open. Chloe takes the dress out of her suitcase and twirls, dancing and humming to herself. As she comes around, she sees Jax, greeting her with “How about naked in a fountain?” He warns her about leaving the front door open. They chit-chat a bit. He thanks her for letting him horn in on her honeymoon. She says “anytime”. He asks if that’s an invitation to go on all of her future honeymoons. “Only if …” she replies. He looks questioningly…she says “Only if you kiss me.” They share a gentle kiss, right in the open front door. He says “good night” and leaves.

Jax and Chloe are having this incredibly romantic picnic in the woods. They talk about their dreams and childhood. Jax tells her how Jerry used to leave him in the wilds of Alaska with water and a field guide for which plants are edible. Chloe talks about the color of the sky and how it is impossible to copy. She also mentions that she dreams in blue. They start to head back because Chloe is supposed to be at a business meeting with Ned, and she takes off for thehorses. Jax tells her to wait and he quickly cleans up, but it's too late. He hears Chloe scream and finds her laying unconscious on the ground. He is able to wake her and she tell him the horses were spooked by a snake as she was mounting one of them, thus causing her to fall. Her ankle is sprained so they will have to spend the night in the woods because they left their cell phones at home and can't call for help. Meanwhile at the Grill, Ned is meeting with a prospective L&B client who is not pleased Chloe can't be bothered to show up on time. Alexis walks in and Ned successfully passes her off as Chloe. Alexis gives her design ideas for his group, Prism, and does quite a little caricature of Chloe. Fred is impressed and wants to discuss his other groups, too. Edward and Gertrude walk in, thus forcing Ned and "Chloe" to make a hasty exit, though not before Fred tells Ned how delightful his wife is in front of Ed and Gert. Edward and Gertrude decide to set a trap for Ned and Chloe. Seems Edward is mad at Ned for turning his back on ELQ.

The next am, Jax & Chloe still haven't shown up and N&A are worried. Jax prepares a breakfast of spring water and chocolate. He tells her more about the day Brenda died, and she tells him about her father walking out on her family when she was a child. Alexis gets a call from the stables that the horses returned without Jax & Chloe. Ned blames Jax and Alexis defends him. Then she blames Chloe and Ned defends her. Just then, Jax arrives carrying Chloe piggyback. Ned reams Jax.

Ned listening to the song he wrote for Alexis as Chloe enters. She is feeling better after her night out with Jax. They discuss the ramifications of Alexis posing as Chloe with the band manager the other day. They leave for a meeting. Edward is on the phone with Gertrude telling her he has a fool-proof plan to expose the Ashton-Jax marriage sham. Edward plotts with Gertrude - he has arranged to have the gatehouse videotaped. Ned and Chloe return to the gatehouse. Chloe admits that she has discovered a depth in Jax that she did not expected to find. She tells Ned about how Jax opened up to her about Brenda. Ned tells her about Brenda’s illness. She thinks Jax was wonderful. They leave for dinner. The guy arrives to install the surveillance equipment.

Ned sees Alexis outside the gatehouse and they are kissing, etc. and Jax comes to tell them that his parents are in town and he needs Alexis. Ned protests, but she promises to come back as soon as possible. He complains that she didn't be such a good wife to Jax. She obviously has grown to care for the Jax family and doesn't want to hurt or dissapoint them. Ned goes in to pop the champagne and the cork leads him to the video surveillance camera. He meets Chloe outside and tells her about it. They agree to put on the performance of their lives for Edward. Ned even asks Chloe how his breath is, so she doesn't have to suffer through it. They go inside and act as if they are about to make love, lots of kissing etc. They go outside after saying they are moving the fireworks to the suite to "christen" it. Outside, Chloe sighs and tells Ned that if anyone ever asks what Alexis sees in him to just ask her.

When the survellaince guy comes back with the video, Lila intercepts it and gives it to Reginald to give to Ned. He goes to the gatehouse and finds Alexis waiting for Ned. He gives the video to her and she watches it, with a horrified look on her face. Jax comes in and asks her what's wrong. Jerry calls while Jax is talking to her, he says he can't talk…he's with his wife. Alexis is worried about how much time Chloe and Ned are spending together, that they might fall in love. Jax points out that (Jax and Alexis) they didn't fall in love when trapped in the Sahara…and she's worrying about the wrong things. Alexis ponders what to do with the tape and ultimately leaves it on the desk for Ned. She never does tell Jax about the contents of the video. Reginald is giving Edward a hard time, Ned watches getting a big kick out of it. He gives Edward a video tape and tries to get him to tell him what is on it. After Ned leaves Edward puts the tape into the VCR and sees the tape of Ned and Chloe together, he is upset, cannot understand how that happened. Alexis is in the park remembering the video of Ned and Chloe that she saw. Jax's mother comes by. They talk and we learn that Jax's mom does not think much of Chloe and thinks that Jax and Alexis are perfect for each other. She gives her some advice...saying to always go to the one you love and trust them with everything. She leaves and Alexis goes to see Ned. Ned has a golf club and knocks the camera into pieces. He explain that he saw the camera so him and Chloe put on a show. He was thinking of her that is why he had the same look on his face. She is worried that soon it will be him thinking of Chloe when he is holding her. Ned says that will never happen and wants to get away. He says Jax and Chloe can cover for them, they owe it after the horseback stunt. Chloe goes to Jax's looking for a design she did on the back on one of his papers. He looks at her ankle to see if it was better and says they should test it out dancing. They start to kiss when the doorbell rings...Chloe hides as Jax lets his father in. John is telling Jax how wonderful Alexis is and what he thinks of Chloe, Jax tries to defend her but is not doing a really good job at it. Finally he tells his dad that he has an appointment and his dad leaves. Chloe comes out and Jax tells her that his dad was just telling him how much they approve of Alexis in his way, not really bad mouthing her.

Alexis tells Jax she is having a crisis, she needs to spend a few nights with Ned. They are leaving that night and she needs him to cover for them. Jax is talking to Jerry, canceling their dinner plans so Alexis can go with Ned. Alexis teases Jax about him and Jerry calling each other so much. Jax says sometimes they call each other from the next room, makes it easier to not hit each other. Alexis says "You hit each other? That is barbaric… My family is much more civilized; we poison each other." They talk and Alexis tells him that he is lucky she is not in love with another man. Alexis and Jax are waiting in the cottage for Ned and Chloe, they cannot figure out where they are. Jax is complaining that Ned is making her wait and he doesn't even leave her decent snacks. Alexis says no phones this trip and leaves her cell phone on the coffee table. Jerry and Bobbie come by and say they are going to dinner and not taking no for an answer. Jax tries to get out of it, but when Alexis says it is her and not Jax, Bobbie jumps to the conclusion that this is because of the past history between her and Alexis. They end up going to dinner. Ned is at the cottage making the plans, he has a private cottage, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Alexis is working today so he will go with Chloe to her meeting. Ned agrees with Chloe that if his marriage to her comes between him and Alexis that they would call the whole thing off. Ned and Chloe come back to an empty cottage. He calls Alexis cell number and hears it ring on his coffee table. They cannot figure out why she didn't wait.

Ned and Chloe arrive at the PC Grille discussing Alexis who is missing. Ned is concerned because Alexis didn't leave a note or anything. He is sure that Jax has something to do with it. Ned flags down a waiter and asks if he has seen Mr. and Mrs. Jacks. The waiter informs Ned that the Jacks' are having dinner in the main dining room. Ned and Chloe are both slightly stunned when they see Alexis and Jax looking very cozy at a table in the dining room. Ned is quick to rush over to see what is going on. As he nears the table, he notices that they are dining with Jerry & Bobbie. Jax tells Ned that he was late for the meeting and they couldn't wait. He explains that Bobbie and Jerry tracked them down at the gatehouse and practically forced them to have dinner. Ned says that he would have appreciated a little notice. Alexis says that she left a note. Chloe smiles and says that they must have missed it. She grabs Neds arms and starts to excuse them, but Jerry and Bobbie insist that they join the group for dinner.

At the PC Grille, the dinner is getting more and more uncomfortable for the uncouples as Jerry and Bobbie ask for details of Jax & Alexis' wedding. Ned and Chloe explain that the were going to Las Vegas for L&B business and that they invited Jax and Alexis to come along. Jax picks up the tale saying that being on a plane reminded him and Alexis of their time stranded in the Sahara together. One thing led to another and he proposed on the plane. As Chloe excuses herself to answer her cell phone, Jerry asks for more details about what really happened in the Sahara. Jax explains that they were stranded in a cave when they just looked at each other and knew. He abruptly stops speaking when he sees Sonny walk in with Hannah on his arm.

As Sonny and Hannah sit down, Jerry tells Jax not to let Sonny ruin his evening. Jax should channel all that energy into loving his new wife. Jax refuses to let Sonny's presence spoil a perfectly good evening. As Jerry and Bobbie excuse themselves, Alexis tells Jax to listen to his brother and not let Sonny get to him. Jax is still outraged that Sonny is there, enjoying himself. Chloe stops by Sonny's table to say hello. Sonny politely introduces Hannah to Chloe. Jax is quick to rush over and pull Chloe away from Sonny's table. As Jax and Chloe walk away, Sonny sarcastically comments that he thought that Chloe was married to Ned. Jax turns and tells Sonny that that is his problem. He can't tell one woman from another. Woman are all the same to him. They are interchangeable. Jax turns to Chloe and apologizes for being rude, but tells her that she has no business with Sonny. Chloe points out that they are all on the same board. Sonny says that he didn't mean to interfere. As Jax and Chloe walk away, Sonny warns Chloe to be careful around Jax. When he tries to protect someone, they could end up driving off a cliff. Jax can't let the comment go and walks back to where Sonny is standing. He tells Sonny that at least he realizes Brenda is dead and isn't trying to resurrect her with a look a like. Jax turns to Hannah and tells her that every time Sonny takes her to bed he is thinking of Brenda. Sonny starts to protest, but Hannah angrily asks Jax who the hell he thinks he is.

Ned and Alexis toy with the idea of interfering in the Jax/Sonny scuffle, but decide against it. Jax explains to Hannah that he has nothing against her. He hates what she represents to Sonny. Hannah tells Jax that she is sorry for his loss, but it has nothing to do with her or Sonny. She would appreciate it if Jax would just leave her alone. Chloe quietly suggests to Jax that it is time to return to their table and Jax reluctantly agrees. Chloe is shocked at the side of Jax that she saw that evening. She wants to know what Sonny did to invoke so much hostility in Jax. As Jax explains about Brenda's history with Sonny, some official looking men arrive and walk up to Sonny's table. They introduce themselves as FBI agents and inform Sonny that he in under arrest for violation of federal law. The foursome watches in shock as Sonny is handcuffed and read his rights. They argue as to the true guilt of Sonny and Jason. Ned departs to inform his family of the news before they are clued in by the media and Alexis questions Jason for details. When Jason requests that Alexis defend Sonny, Jax becomes very angry. Despite his ranting about the evils of Sonny, Alexis agrees to meet with Jason and Sonny at the police department. After the car accident, Jerry and Bobbie lie unconscious in the woods. Bobbie awakens to find her lover covered in blood and unresponsive. Alexis and Jason soon arrive at the PD and Alexis demands to speak with the arresting officers on behalf of her client, Sonny Corinthos. Taggert refuses to interrupt the meeting, but after it disbands, Alexis procures the list of charges.

Chloe attempts to soothe a disgruntled Jax. She reminds her friend that his wife is an educated and savvy woman, fully capable of making wise decisions. Chloe then recommends that Jax not let Sonny hurt him again. Before Jax has time to respond, he receives a phone call about the car accident. He and Chloe race out of the restaurant to find Jerry and Bobbie. Jax is at the hospital trying to get some news about Jerry. Chloe is with him and trying to help him. Tony comes out and tells Jax that they need a family signature for them to do surgery, his lungs are filling up with blood and they have to stop it. His chances are 50-50. Chloe gets him a chocolate bar and tries to comfort him, he tells her stories about Jerry and how their mother saidthe first words out of his mouth as a baby were "never say die". Jax is getting frustrated that he cannot get any news, his parents should be there any moment. Alexis arrives to comfort her husband as Chloe looks on. Finally Audrey calls to him and tells him that they want the family outside of the OR. The three of them start to go but Chloe is stopped and told only family can go. Mac comes in and tells Alexis about Jerry being in surgery in the hospital. He says everything is on hold so you can get out of here and go. She leaves to go to the hospital. Alexis tries to get Jax to go home and get some sleep but he will not. He thanks her for getting his parents to go to a hotel though. He says that she been there all night and she could go if she wanted to. She says I am you wife, did you forget that and nothing is more important that that. They are watching Jerry with their arms wrapped around the other when Chloe shows up with juice for them. They talk about Alexis being Sonny's lawyer and she leaves to go to the police station. Jax and Chloe are talking, she is still trying to make him feel better and to get something in his stomach. Bobbie arrives and tells them the accident is her fault. Jax tells her to never say she is sorry for kissing his brother and that she is the best thing that has even happened to Jerry. Bobby goes in and sits with Jerry. Monica comes back and is a bit upset that she is still therebut Chloe felt that Bobbie and Jerry were the best medicine for each other. Jax and Chloe hug and kiss watching.

Jerry sees Jax and Chloe hugging and kissing. Jax goes in to see him and Jerry asks, "Haven't you got anything better to do than to interrupt my nap?" They talk about how worried Jax and everyone else was. Jerry asks why he was kissing Chloe and is told that she as well as Ned and Alexis and their parents were there most of the time worried and waiting to see about him. Jax and Chloe go to Kelly's for some refreshments and end up kissing at the table.

Hannah is visiting Sonny when Alexis walks in with the bad news that Sonny has to stay there until Tuesday when there will be a hearing and the Feds will have to lay down their hand.

Jax brings Chloe Chinese food from Hong Kong. They eat it and open the fortune cookies. Chloe's says that good things come to those who wait. Jax leans in to kiss Chloe. Just before the kiss, Ned walks in and has Brooke Lynn with him. Chloe hits it off with Brooke Lynn, she seems to know just what to say to charm the little girl and make her feel comfortable and they go up to her room. Alexis comes by later, and has a difficult time making small talk - what she does say sounds condenscending and Brooke Lynn doesn't seem to like her. Ned explains that Miguel had a problem in Barcelona and Lois flew out to deal with her. Lois' parents were on a cruise and that's why Ned finally has Brooke Lynn.

Jax tries to comfort Alexis as Ned and Chloe take Brooke Lynn to bed, they make a cute little family together - Alexis feels left out. They are interrupted by Bobbie's phone call to inform Jax of Jerry's seizure. Jax and Alexis race to the hospital, Ned encourages Chloe to follow them. Its obvious she wants to but points out she isn't family and they won't let her see Jerry.

Bobbie explains that the doctors are worried about cerebral swelling. The next 24 hours of Jerry's life are critical. When Jax asks about the circumstances prior to the seizure, Bobbie tells him that she agreed to marry his brother. Alexis delights at the news and welcomes Bobbie to the family. When Jax is ashamed of the way he has treated his brother in the past, Alexis instructs him to focus on his love for Jerry and how much time they will have together in the future. Ned watches as Chloe sweetly reads Brook Lynne a story about a princess.

Juan comes by the gatehouse to ask Ned about Miguel. Chloe dropped by the hospital to check on Jax, and bring him juice and cookies. Chloe also had a cute talk with Brooke Lynn on the phone about painting their fingernails purple with glitter. Jax is having a tough time with Jerry being sick, and he revealed it was the one-year anniversary of Brenda’s death too. They recapped how Brenda died and how much Jax misses her. Jax goes into Jerry’s room and talks to him, tells him how important Jerry is to him, and how he regretts not forgiving him sooner for the money laundering. He thanked Jerry for always being able to count on him, and begged him not to leave him alone.These brothers love each other so much!

Off to the Gatehouse next, Ned is re-watching the Brenda & Miguel video (I didn't include all of it just a short clip). He talks to Brenda telling her that she would be so proud to see Brooke. Chloe arrives bearing the nail polish, and Chloe realizes that Ned is missing Brenda too and comforts him.

Emily is back and is talking to Ned. She hated everything in camp except for archery, which she liked because she was the best, even better than the boys. He tells her that he has Brook Lynn for a couple of weeks and she thinks that is great. They talk about how good Chloe is with Brook Lynn are together, she tells him that she will stop by later to see her.

Jax & Bobbie are estatic when Jerry wakes up. The two of them are going to make sure that he follows the doctor's orders. The love that Bobbie and Jax have for Jerry is obvious. Jax leaves as Bobbie watches Jerry through the window.

Ned and Chloe are talking about how wonderful Brook Lynn is and how wonderful Chloe is with her. Ned said he can write songs, or a love letter that will bring a tale to your eye, but a fairy tale no way. They talk about Lois and the reason that they split up was because she did not want Brook Lynn to be raised with the Quartermaines, which he could not blame her for.

Jax and Alexis show up to celebrate the fact that Jerry is going to be okay. Jax gets a phone call and learns that there is some money in one of Jerry's accounts that should not be there. He tells Alexis (but not Chloe) and ask Alexis to keep it to herself, she makes it a legal consultation so no one can question her about it. Alexis asks Ned how the visit is going with Brook Lynn. He thinks it is going great but only because Chloe is so great with her. He assures Alexis that Brooke Lynn will love her for who she is. They kiss as Chloe and Jax are outside trying to catch the delivery man for an item he forgot and end up kissing as well.

Alexis confronts Stefan about making bad moves against her through her "new" "family". Stefan tells her that she is ridiculous, because he wouldn't work with Jerry Jax if he's the last man on earth. Then Stefan told her that he can't believe how loyal she is being to the Jax family because they are a bunch of thieves. She replied to Stefan's opinions as, The Jaxes have been more of a family to her then any of the Cassadines have ever been. She also can't believe how much Stefan has turned into a TRUE Cassadine.

Chloe is making a princess dress for Brooke Lynn and Jax comes over to help. They discuss what kind of a present he could get for a married woman who helped him through his brother's medical crisis. They rule out jewelry, chocolate from France, making her laugh by falling off his horse etc. They kiss and Ned and Brooke Lynn walk in. They explain it by saying that it was a friendship kiss and not a 'special' kiss like Daddy gives to Chloe and they demonstrate while Jax looks on, pretty uncomfortable. Chloe and Brooke Lynn go upstairs to try on the dress and Ned and Jax go outside. Ned blasts Jax for making out with Chloe in his house and reminds him why Lois left with Brooke Lynn in the first place (Because she didn't want them around the lying Quartermaines). Jax tells him its easy to see that Brooke Lynn loves and adores him and that he is a lucky man. They cancel dinner for that night. Brooke Lynn comes down modelling her dress and Chloe does an intro for her. Her dad loves it and Brooke Lynn whispers that she wants her dad to give Chloe a special kiss to thank her. Of course Brooke sits in a chair and Ned and Chloe kiss while Alexis looks on through the window, not able to see Brooke Lynn.

Outside the gatehouse, Alexis watches Ned kiss Chloe passionately and is disturbed. Jax finds her sitting at a table and inquires as to the cause of her forlorn stare. Alexis informs him of the kiss and expresses her fears that Ned and Chloe's proximity to one another could lead to an attraction. As Jax tries to dispel Alexis' undue concern, Ned spies the couple and invites his friends in for dinner. Once inside, Alexis shares details of Sonny's trial and Ned shares details of the Brooke Lynn friendship-kissing incident. Alexis is obviously ill at ease with Ned and Chloe's familiarity. After Alexis and Jax have left the gatehouse, Chloe asks Ned if their respective love interests appeared uncomfortable at dinner. Ned and Chloe are talking about Jax and Alexis being close at dinner. Chloe is trying to tell him that there is no need to worry.

Alexis tells Sonny that if they're offering a deal they ought think about it since that may be the only way they can get him out. She tells him she thinks they're preparing a witness and SURPRISE! Hannah walks in. Sonny tells Alexis that they can talk in front of her and Alexis reminds him that she's not covered by attorney client privilege. Sonny says they're done anyway and Alexis kind of huffs off. Hannah meets Alexis on her way out and asks what his chances are and Alexis says not good.

Jax and Alexis are talking about the money in Jerry's account, they are concerned that Jerry is laundering money again. Jax tells Alexis that he is worried about the Feds since Sonny has been arrested. But she tells him that if no one knows where the money came from then the Feds will not know either. They talk about what might happen if it is laundry money and the worse case is 20 years, but Alexis is worried that Jax will follow right behind him. You have to talk to Jerry and find out where the money came from. She thinks that he should have a talk with his father and decide what to do together. They are close and holding each other as Ned walks up and sees them. He tells Alexis he has some time this afternoon if she is free to get together. She lies to him and tells him she has a client, when it is really work about Jax. Ned knows she is lying because she is so bad at it.

After he leaves she comments she hates lying to Ned, Jax debates whether or not he should get a different lawyer, but she tells him no. Chloe invites Jax to lunch to ask him what's wrong. He tries to distract her by saying that his stock in kiwi is down and his favorite suit's at the cleaners. She tries to get an answer out of him but Alexis shows up to give him an update. Chloe leaves but watches them for a minute,wondering. Alexis tells Jax that there is nothing to be done for Jerry if he is laundering money again. Jax confronts his father and his father tells him he's clean. Jax tells John about the 2 million in Jerry's account and John gets kind of mad. Jax goes over to confront Jerry. He gets to the hospital and Bobbie is there kissing Jerry. Jax is about to ask about the money and Jerry asks him to be his best man. Jax doesn't have the heart to ask him about it. Alexis meets him in the hall and he tells her he just couldn't do it. Alexis says they'll find another way to get to the bottom of this.

Sonny and Jason on the docks. Alexis comes up to meet with her client, and Jason leaves. Alexis asks Sonny whether he's ever stopped to notice himself becoming the very thing he swore he wouldn't -- in reference to her own sudden transformation into a mob lawyer. She tells Sonny she's there to ask him for something. "I'm sure this happens to you all the time, the law-abiding coming to you for favors," she says, but she's obviously very nervous about it. She tells him she needs him to find out whether Jerry's laundering money. Sonny gets pissed that Alexis is ashamed of defending him but not of helping out the sleazy Jax brothers. She says Jerry may not have done anything wrong, gets mad and starts to leave. Sonny stops her and tells her he'll look into it. She makes him promise not to tell anyone (or he'll lose his lawyer) and then tells him what she and Jax know so far, about the unexplained $2 million in Jerry's account. Sonny asks what Jax would think about him helping with this little problem.She makes Sonny promise again not to tell anyone, including Jax, and also not to use whatever he finds against Jax. Sonny is reluctant but teasingly says the thrill of torturing Jax is "probably not worth losing one of the best attorneys I ever had." She coolly thanks him and leaves.

At Kelly's Jax arrives and is surprised to see Chloe there. Chloe explains that Ned is taking Brooke Lynn home and she wanted her favorite pancakes before she left. She invites Jax to join them, but he declines saying that he doesn't want to intrude on a family moment. He asks if Brook Lynn is sorry to leave. Chloe says that she is, but has promised to visit again soon. Jax says that Brook Lynn is very lucky to have such a magical stepmother in the house. Chloe says that Ned is also wonderful with his daughter. Jax says that Ned shares that gift with Chloe. It's nice that the spouses have found something in common besides an address and matching beds. Chloe says that Alexis should be able to spend more time with Ned now that Brook Lynn is gone. Jax says that unfortunately, he and Alexis are steeped in a project and she probably won't have a lot of spare time. Chloe looks a little concerned at Jax's comment about he and Alexis doing a "project" together. Jax confesses that it is mostly Alexis' project, but he is sure that shewould rather being playing with Ned, and he would certainly rather be... Jax's sentence is cutoff by Ned's arrival with Brook Lynn. Ned notices Jax and asks why Alexis isn't with him. He left her a message. Jax says that Alexis probably didn't get the message because she is still preoccupied with Sonny's case. Chloe reminds Ned that Brook Lynn wanted to ride the Ferris Wheel and suggests that they leave. Ned and Brook Lynn walk away while Chloe hangs back to talk to Jax. Things are clearly strained between them since each thinks the other is falling for the spouse. Jax tells Chloe he will see her, and Chloe says whenever.

At the Q's, Chloe tells Ned that Jax seems to have a lot on his mind. Ned asks if she has that nagging suspicion deep down. Chloe points out that Alexis is an exceptional woman and she and Jax have been spending a lot of time together. It's only natural that she would feel something. Ned asks what Alexis could possibly see in Jax. He thinks about what he just said and tells Chloe not to answer that. Chloe suggests that Ned just ask Alexis what is going on. As they continue their discussion, Jax and Alexis arrive. Ned pulls Alexis into the living room so thatthey can be alone. He looks at her and than before she can speak he pulls her into a passionate kiss, which Alexis willingly returns. He pulls away and says that he does have to ask her something. Looking a little dazed, Alexis asks what he was just saying. Taking the hint, Ned pulls her into another passionate kiss.

In the foyer, Jax teases Chloe about having three whole days without Ned. Chloe says that she is planning to use the time wisely, starting with a long horseback ride through the woods. She jokes about getting stranded and Jax tells her to be careful or he might have to join her. Chloe coyly tells him that that was the general idea. Jax tells her that unfortunately, he has a business matter that he has to attend to. Chloe wrongly thinks that he doesn't want to spend time with herand quietly says that they can do it another time.

Ned and Alexis share more kisses and exchange I Love You's, but are interrupted by Jax warning them that Edward is coming with Brook Lynn. Edward is charming with his granddaughter as he tells her how much he enjoyed her visit and wishes her goodbye. Everyone is a little shocked to see this side of Edward. Chloe and Ned rush off with Brook Lynn in tow. Once they are gone, Edward is back to his usual gruff self and tells Jax and Alexis to get out.

Alexis tells Jax that she ask Sonny to help them trace the money. Jax is upset but she convinces him to trust her that Sonny will keep quiet. He figured it out last time and he has the connections to do it. She leaves to go see Sonny. At first Sonny tells her that he is concerned that Jax is setting him up and hecan't figure why she is calling in a favor for him. She tells him otherwise and then he tells her that he learned that Jerry is not doing business with the same people, but if he found someone else is still to be known.

Chloe comes to see Jax. They talk about their relationship and the feeling she has of him pulling away. He tells her that it is not her, that he is having some business problems about Jerry and that Alexis is helping him, but she cannot tell Ned. They talk about how they distract each other and go for a boat ride. Later they come back and she is joking him about tipping the boat again, she has went sailing twice with him and both times he has tipped the boat. He says maybe it is just because he finds her even more attractive when she is wet.

Chloe fills Jax's penthouse with dozens of flowers, then brings over a picnic basket brimming full of her friend's favorite foods. Jax kisses her and tells her how beautiful she looks amidst the flowers. Jerry gets there and interrupts their intimate moment. Chloe hides upstairs. As Chloe listens from her hiding place, Jerry confides to his brother his fear that he isn't worthy of Bobbie.

Jax asks Alexis if she has heard anything from Sonny. She says no and Jax tells her that it may be too late. The two million has disappeared. Alexis tries to reassure Jax, but he isn't buying it. Banks don't make two million dollar errors. Jax says that Jerry isn't stupid. He probably knows that Jax suspects something. Jax says that he feels like Jerry is an alcoholic who has fallen off the wagon. He turned his back on Jerry the first time he got into trouble, he won't do it again. Jax explains to Alexis that he owes it to Jerry to help him. Alexis asks what is to stop Jerry from doing the same thing again if Jax bails him out this time. Jax says that Jerry is about to gain a wife and child. He is sure that Jerry wouldn't do anything to jeopardize that Jason arrives at Jax's penthouse and asks for Alexis. Alexis asks Jason why he is there and Jason explains that Sonny sent him. Alexis is somewhat surprised that Sonny told Jason about investigating Jerry. Jason explains that Sonny sent him to find out what Jax needed to know because Sonny can't leave the country. Jax asks what Jason found out. Jason says that Jerry is still laundering money for the Organization.

In Jax's hotel suite, Jason tells Jax and Alexis that Jerry is laundering money for the mob. Jason explains that he witnessed Sorel transferring money to a bank in the Grand Keys and then provides paper proof that money transfers to/from Jerry's accounts are very similar to those of Moreno. Jason and Alexis leave the suite, but Jax is not alone for long because Chloe arrives to visit her friend. Chloe inquires as to the state of Jerry's accounts and Jax explains that Jerry is addicted to a game of high finance. Jax worries that he might be unable to help his brother, but Chloe does not understand how Jerry could ask so much of Jax. Jax maintains that he will do whatever possible to ensure his brother's happiness, knowing that Jerry would do the same for him. Jax tells Chloe that he almost asked her to marry him on the plane trip to Las Vegas. She responds that she could never have married him for only a year as she wouldn't be able to walk away from him. Chloe attempts to reassure Jax that he is doing the right thing by telling Jerry that he knows about his continued dealings with the mob. Jax is angry at Jerry for putting his business ahead of his family. Chloe says that she would like to give Jerry a piece of her mind as well. She tells Jax that he is a good brother and gives him a comforting hug. Jax called Jerry over to discuss the problem.

Chloe and Emily have a short conversation and then Emily goes out on the terrace to be with Juan (who is hiding out without the Q's knowledge). While Jax calls Chloe to go for a horseback ride, Monica comes by looking for Emily. Chloe gives her to phone telling her that Jax wants to talk to her. He covers well and asks Monica for help in getting Jerry and Bobbie a wedding gift. While she is talking to Jax, Chloe warns Emily and Juan.

Alexis is delighted to inform Sonny and Jason that the FBI apparently was bluffing. Whatever they had or thought they had must have changed because the charges against Sonny have been dropped. Sonny is delighted! Alexis does caution Jason and Sonny that the FBI still has whatever they had before and that they will continue to dig. She also agrees to continue to represent Jason and Sonny.

Jax asks Jerry point blank if he's laundering money for organized crime again. Jerry smiles. Jax & Jerry are interrupted by a phone call from their mother, she wants wedding details. Jerry tips his hand that he's planning an isolated island honeymoon with Bobbie. Jerry lies to Jax that he isn't still laundering money. Alexis arrives home after Jerry has left. Jax confides in Alexis his disappointment that, when confronted, Jerry had looked him in the face and lied to him. Alexis tried to comfort her despondent husband. He asked her for a divorce, he wanted to spare her from being associated with the impending money laundering scandal. Meanwhile, on the other side of the foursome, Ned arrived home from taking Brook Lynn home and Chloe asked him for a divorce. She wants to free him to return to Alexis. They discussed the pros and cons of continuing the marriage, with Ned attempting to encourage her to keep up the ruse to hold onto her company. He asks if she wants to divorce because she is worried that Jax is falling for Alexis. She says no that she is over that fear. Ned suggests that they go see Alexis and Jax and see what they have to say about it, not knowing that the other couple was discussing the same issue. When they arrived, Jax and Chloe both said that they wanted out, but Ned and Alexis refused. Ned & Alexis run giggling up to her bedroom.

Alexis hears about Katharine's death and visits Luke. She asks him if he pushed her off..they both confirm that each other is not responsible. Luke accuses Stefan of doing it, while Alexis thinks that Laura is more likely.

Jax is sitting in the bar at the PC Hotel when Chloe arrives. She asks if Jax has seen Ned, but he hasn't. They discuss their early dinner plans and what they will do to pass the time while Ned and Alexis spend some time together after dinner. Jax says that with everything going on with Jerry, he could use a distraction. Chloe is happy to provide it. Meanwhile, Ned is at the Q mansion and is running late. Emily makes him even later by insisting that there is an emergency that only he can fix. She asks him to give Juan a job at L&B. Ned is shocked when a smiling Juan appears from his hiding place behind the door with his resume in hand. Emily explains to Ned that Juan needs a job so he can stay in Port Charles. Ned agrees, as long as Juan's father agrees to let him stay. Emily is delighted and thanks Ned with an enthu siastic hug.

At the PC Grille, Chloe, Jax and Alexis discuss the secret (Jerry's situation) that they are keeping from Ned. Chloe thinks that they should tell him. It is putting everyone in an awkward position and Ned deserves to know the truth. He might even be able to help. As they continue to discuss the pros and cons of telling Ned about Jerry, Jerry arrives commenting cheerfully that they all look so serious. Chloe covers the awkward moment by telling Jerry that he has to go away. This conversation is not for his ears. Jax starts to stop her thinking that she is going to tell Jerry what they were really discussing, but Chloe goes on to say that if Jerry doesn't leave, he may end up with a floral bedspread. Jerry looks confused so Chloe explains that Jax and Alexis were advising her on what to get him for a wedding gift. Jerry says that he will leave, for Bobbie's sake, if he can borrow Jax for a minute. Jax and Jerry walk away and Alexis scoots closer to Chloe. Alexis comments that you hand it to Jerry. Not many would have the audacity to greet their brother with a smile and then lie to his face. Chloe says that she is having a hard time handing Jerry anything. As far as she is concerned, Jerry's only redeeming quality is Jax. Jerry asks Jax if Alexis and the annoying Ashtons know of his alleged crimes. Jax asks Jerry if he is getting paranoid. He has no reason to tell Alexis anything unless Jerry has been lying to him. Jerry laughs and says that Jax had him worried for a minute. He thought that Jax was going to take Sonny's word over his own brother's. As the two brothers continue to talk, Bobbie arrives. Bobbie politely invites Jax and the others to join them but Jax declines saying that they are still waiting on Ned. And besides, Jerry finds the Ashtons annoying. Bobbie laughs and tells Jax that Ned has just arrived. She and Jerry leave for their table while Jax goes back to the bar to join the others. Chloe immediately apologizes for getting testy, but Jax assures her that Jerry didn't even notice. Noticing that he is being ignored, Ned asks if anyone wants to know why he was late. Alexis and Chloe half-heartedly ask Ned why he was late. Ned asks Jax if Jerry has some sort of magical power over woman because Chloe and Alexis can't take their eyes off him. When Chloe and Alexis look at Ned guiltily, Ned asks what is going on.

Upon hearing the news about Jax's brother, Ned responds by ordering a bottle of champagne. Jax is not amused and thinks that Ned is mocking him. Ned smiles and says that he finally understands why Alexis and Jax have seemed so chummy lately. Alexis starts to apologize, but Jax jumps in saying that he asked Alexis to keep it to herself until he found a way out. Ned is surprised that Jax is looking for a way out because Jax isn't really involved. He is no longer partners with Jerry. This time if Jerry goes down, he will go down alone. Jax says that it doesn't matter that Jerry will go down alone. Jerry is still his brother and he loves him even if he doesn't like him sometimes. He wants to protect him from himself. He says that Ned must be able to understand that. Ned says that he knows exactly what Jax is saying. And he has taken a constant barage of ridicule from Jax for doing the very same thing. He recalls that Jax even tried to convince him to jump ship and let his family go to the dogs. Once all the champagne glasses have been filled, Ned raises his glass and congratulates Jax. When Jax asks why, Ned welcomes him to the gatekeepers club. There are no benefits or privileges, but they are very selective. Jax can't help but smile and they all clink glasses in a congratulatory toast.

Ned, Alexis, Jax and Chloe are trying to find a way to bail Jerry out while they wait for their table for dinner. Ned comes to the conclusion that cash, and a lot of it, is probably the only way to keep Jerry out of jail. Ned says that most of his assets are tied up, but he could liquidate. Ned even offers to sell L&B! When Alexis tells him that it wouldn't be enough. Chloe offers to sell her company, but everyone tells her no way. Jax says that he can't let any of them do what they are trying to do. No one has ever offered to help him like this and they are acting like it is no big deal. Alexis tells Jax that they are acting like it's no big deal because they know that he would do the same for any of them any day of the week. Unfortunately, to pay back the amount of money that has passed through Jerry's hands since last year, it would take a fortune of … Alexis stops for a moment and gets a sly smile and says a fortune of the Cassadine scale. Alexis offered her Cassadine millions to Jax to save Jerry. Ned especially tried to talk her out of this because of the danger she got into with Helena before. He warns her if she tries to claim the money again they will again try to kill her. They all let Jax know how important he was to them and Alexis explained that he was her family along with Ned and Chloe and wanted him to have the money. He said he would consider it. Chloe went up to Jax's room and they danced to music from Paris. Alexis and Ned had a romantic evening alone.

Chloe and Jax are in disguise so they can spend some time with each other. They are on a walking tour and find a broken fountain with no water in it. They sit and talk about the day they tossed coins in the fountain. Chloe tells Jax that she wants to help, that this is not like the last time Jerry was in trouble, he has friends now. He lists a lot of her favorite things and she is amazed that he knows and remembers that much about her. They kiss and it starts to rain hard. They make a wish and toss coins into the rain water in the fountain.

Jax and Alexis discuss her decision to defend Stefan and reclaim her part of the Cassadine estate. Jax argues against it, concerned about his wife dealing again with her dangerous family. Alexis tells Jax that she would do anything to help him help Jerry. Chloe visited Jax and told him that she had decided not to go to Brook Lynn's birthday party because she didn't want the little girl to get attached to her, then lose her when the marriage was over. Jax comforted her and praised her for being so considerate. Chloe told Jax she could 'get ridiculous' over him. Jax later surprises Chloe with a room decorated for a festive birthday party. He feels Chloe has a bond with Brook Lynn and shouldn't have to miss out on the party. So he throws a party complete with balloons, cake, party favors, and a present for Chloe. Jax asks her what she wished for, she pulls his head down for a kiss. Jerry walks in, finding Jax laying on top of Chloe on the couch - kissing her. Jerry says he thought Jax was on a business trip, but obviously he lied so he could cheat on his wife. Chloe quickly leaves so that Jax can have a frank discussion with Jerry. Jerry is livid that Jax would be unfaithful to Alexis and even more upset that he would be so reckless as to get caught. Jax refuses to discuss his marriage with his brother and demands to know why Jerry is visiting Jax's apartment when he is supposed to be out of town. The two argue for several minutes before Chloe's Aunt Gertrude, who has recently returned from Paris, interrupts them. Jerry spouts an impromptu explanation for the birthday cake on the table and the balloons floating around the room, maintaining that they are in celebration of a favorite deceased uncle. Gertrude appears to believe the whopper and departs. Jerry soon follows, leaving Jax with a promise not to tell anyone that he saw his brother with Chloe. Several minutes later, Chloe returns to Jax's apartment, having cleverly escaped her aunt using different elevators.

Ned and Chloe come to visit Jax and Alexis. Ned and Alexis are in each other arms in a matter of minutes. Ned and Alexis go off to the service elevator, Jax tells them that Jerry caught him and Chloe and they have to be more careful and go out and make an appearance as happily married people now that Ned is back. They talk about leaving and decide it is best to stay and not just look like an appearance.

Ned, Jax, Chloe and Alexis come into Luke's Club. Ned asks Emily what the country group She-Daisey is doing here, that Luke has a Blues only policy. He wishes them luck to convince Luke. The two couples sit down together and they are tormenting each other. Emily gets up onstage and introducing the girls, She-Daisey.

Jax, Alexis, Chloe and Ned all checked into a health spa under false names to get away from it all. Alexis & Chloe enjoy getting mud masks while discussing the guys. While Alexis and Ned went for a mud bath, Jax bribed Chloe's masseuse to let him take over the massage. As things progressively heated up, they moved onto the bed and were about to make love when Gertrude started to open the door. Jax and Chloe are making out…Ned runs in, throws Jax out into the connecting room, jumps on top of Chloe just in time as in walks Gertrude. Chloe lays into Gertrude about trespassing. A minor pillow fight ensues, while Ned calls security. In strolls Jax, now fully clothed, followed by (from a different door…) Alexis wearing a face masque. Finally security comes in, Alexis threatens to sue the hotel, and Gertrude is promptly dragged out. Alexis and Ned share a good post-Gertrude cuddle. Jax says he's almost sorry that Gertrude didn't catch them. Chloe wants to know why Jax is happy about almost being caught. He wants the charade to end so they can be together. She worries that they will miss their chance to be together because of their scheme. Ned talks Jax out of trying to end the arrangement. Ned points out it isn't worth Chloe having 9 months of bliss with Jax and losing her company over it. Chloe & Alexis talk while having facial masks. Chloe too wants to end the arrangement so she can be with Jax and to free Alexis to be with Ned. Alexis also won't let her end it.

The fab four prepared to leave the spa, and arrived back at Jax's penthouse. When Ned is about to kiss Alexis, Jax steps in between them, grabs her and kisses her passionately as Ned looks on in shock. Jax then points out in pantomine that there may be listening devices and they should search the penthouse. Jax informed Alexis and Ned that he had found a listening device in their room. He smashed it to smithereens. After everyone else had left, Jax was alone in the room when Chloe showed up in disguise dressed as a maid. They bantered around with maid innuendos, then Jerry banged on the door. Chloe ran to hide and Jerry stormed in, telling Jax that he was worried Bobbie might be getting cold feet. Jax reassured Jerry that he was sure Bobbie cared for him. Chloe came back out after Jax left and they did more maid bantering.
