Jax & Courtney #1 April 9 - Aug 19, 2004: 8 hour original edit

DVD #1A 4/9 - 5/25/2004 First two hours. Jax sees Sonny & Sam at the HS, Tracy blackmails Jax with photos of Skye and Ross, Tracy announces their engagement, Tracy throws an engagement party at the Q’s, Jax sees Em with Sam’s prenatal vitamins, Jax confronts Sam, Jax tells Sonny that Sam is pregnant, Jax asks Justus to file for paternity tests, Jax offers to be on Courtney’s board, Jax tells Skye that he can’t cover with Tracy, Carly tells Jax that Sam is in Costa Rica, Jax goes after Sam, Sam falls down the stairs, Jax and Courtney witness Ric and Alexis in action at Court’s office, the paternity results reveal neither Sonny nor Jax is the father, Jax asks Courtney to go to Monte Carlo, Jax bets Courtney $10 million for her charity that he can seduce her within 3 months, Courtney makes fun of Jax’s moves on the plane home.  

5/25- 6/21/2004 Next two hours Courtney tells Carly about the bet, Jax persuades Courtney to dance, Jason walks in, Jax kisses Courtney goodnight in the park, Jax dumps Tracy, Courtney tells Jax that Jason is the father of Sam’s baby, Jax witnesses Courtney shove Tracy, Jason sees Jax kissing Courtney, Sam tells Jax that she and Jason are getting married, Jax congratulates Jason, Jax lets Courtney assume an anonymous donation was from him, Jax & Courtney host a charity benefit, Jason punches Jax, Sam tells Courtney that Jason donated the money, Jax is disappointed that Courtney didn’t trust him, Sonny tells Jax to leave Jason & Sam’s wedding, Jax takes Courtney to Italy, Carly follows (then Jason) and they all end up in jail, Court walks in on Jax & Carly playing a game of chicken, Jax returns with ice cream, Courtney offers to make him a sandwich, later they both end up at the Cellar, Ned & Jax discuss the bet.  

Dvd #1B 6/21 - 7/22/2004 Next two hours: rest of the evening with Ned & Lois, Jax arranges a dinner in the park for Courtney and admits that he’s falling for her, Jax testifies at Skye’s trial then blows off an associate of Courtney’s, Jax tells Courtney about the mistakes he made with Skye, Lois asks Jax to invest in L&B and points out some habits he’s recently lost due to Courtney, Courtney is waiting with Mike and lemonade in the park he when arrives, Courtney visits Skye on Jax’s behalf, Skye is convicted, Courtney takes Jax camping, Courtney and Jax run into Ned and Lois at the Cellar, Jax tries to call off the bet but Courtney rips up the check, Courtney finds out about Lila’s death then tells Jax, Lila’s memorial service, Mike interrupts an embrace between Jax & Courtney at the loft, Courtney calls Jax to the park later for ice cream, Jax takes Courtney sailing but she gets seasick, Jax slips and says they’d have beautiful children.  

7/22- 8/19/2004 Last two hours Jax tells Courtney that her not being able to have children has no bearing on his feelings for her, Faith abducts Jax, Courtney goes to Sonny for help then rescues Jax after Faith shoots him, Courtney takes Jax home with her to recuperate, Lorenzo’s hitman shoots at them, Jax tells Mac that Faith shot him, Courtney and Jax argue about his going to the police and her trying to protect Jason, Courtney attacks Lorenzo after his yacht is blown up, Courtney tells Jason that she is falling for Jax and it scares her to death, Sam introduces Jax to Danny, Jax takes her home, Jax tells Courtney he has to go to Singapore for 3 months and the bet’s off, Courtney leads Jax on after she finds out the trip is a trick, Jax overhears Courtney telling Lois that she’s having sexual dreams about him, Jax tells Courtney about dreams he has of her, Courtney gets upset when she realizes it is the anniversary of her miscarriage, Sam tells Jax the significance of the date, Jax stops them from making love.
