Jax & Courtney #5 Aug 18 - Nov 11, 2005: 8 hour original edit

DVD #5A 8/18- 9/6/2005 First two hours. Nikolas & Courtney decide to fight for their marriages, Jax tells Liz that he wants to raise the baby himself, Jax wants a divorce, Courtney blames Nikolas but they end up in an embrace, Courtney refuses to sign the divorce papers, Lucky & Liz trick everyone into getting together, Liz has cramps and they rush her to GH, Jax tells Liz that he wants Courtney back, Jax tells Courtney that he wants her to come home, Courtney goes to tell Nikolas that she’s going back to Jax, Jax overhears Emily say that Courtney was at Wyndemere, Courtney comes home, Jax tells Justus to pursue the divorce and dig up dirt on Courtney, Nikolas overhears Jax on the phone with Justus and warns Courtney, Courtney becomes angry and tells Nikolas to leave them alone, Courtney overhears Jax with Justus, Courtney goes to Nikolas and they make love.  

9/6-9/28/2005 Next two hours. Courtney tells Jax that she slept with Nikolas, Jax offers Liz money for custody of the baby, Courtney & Nikolas run into Emily at Kelly’s, Courtney breaks up a fight between Nikolas & Lucky, Emily advises Jax to compromise with Liz, Jax asks Liz to share custody, Jax bristles when Nikolas offers Liz money for the custody battle, Lucky tries to blackmail Jax, Jax tells Liz the truth, Nikolas takes Courtney on vacation, Jax & Liz reach a custody agreement, Jax takes Liz out for ice cream, Carly runs in front of the car and causes an accident, Liz is released but later collapses and is rushed to the hospital, Liz loses the baby, Jax blames himself, Courtney & Nikolas discuss their views on having children, Courtney feels sick, Emily calls Courtney & Nikolas who return to Port Charles, Courtney comforts Jax, Jax tells Liz that he’s leaving town.  

Dvd #5B 9/29-10/24/2005 Next two hours: Jax & Liz grieve for the baby, Courtney feels nauseous again and suspects that she’s pregnant, Jax & Liz plant a tree to honor their child, Courtney’s pregnancy is confirmed, Jax and Courtney share a friendly moment at Kelly’s, Courtney tells Mike that she’s pregnant, Courtney tells Nikolas that it’s over, Courtney offers to help Sonny with the kids, Sonny accuses her of throwing Nikolas & Emily back together, Courtney tells him that she’s pregnant, Emily overhears, Emily warns Courtney to tell Nikolas or she will, Jax has Alexis stall the divorce papers, Courtney tells Nikolas that she’s pregnant, Jax makes more overtures towards Courtney, Courtney gets suspicious, Courtney tells Liz how she feels about Nikolas but that she’s leaving town, Nikolas stops her, Nikolas goes with Courtney to GH for the paternity test.  

10/24-11/11/2005 Last two hours. Jax tells Courtney that he’s looking into adoption, Jax interrupts Courtney in the chapel, Helena confronts Courtney, Courtney tells Jax that she’s pregnant and he’s the father just before Liz & Lucky’s ceremony, Jax wants to stay married and raise the baby together, Nikolas invites Courtney to go to Manhattan on Liz and Lucky’s honeymoon train, Jax shows up with his own private car, Jax reminds Courtney that it’s the anniversary of the end of their bet, the trains wreck in the tunnel, Jax goes for help, Jax makes it out of the tunnel but it collapses behind him, Courtney stays with Alexis while Nikolas & Luke carry Lucky out, Jax helps rescue them then Jax and Nikolas go back in the tunnel, they find Courtney unconscious, Nikolas is trapped in a cave-in, Jax, Courtney & Nikolas take Alexis’s baby to safety, Courtney starts to cramp.
