Karen & Jagger #6  September 10 - November 5, 1993 - 8 hour original edit

DVD #6A  Karen tries on her stage outfit for Sonny. It's a school girl costume. Sonny loves it and so does Stone. Her debut is going to be on that night.

Jagger tells Brenda about Gina warning him not to trust Stone. Jagger decides to tail Stone. Jagger arrives at The Paradise Lounge just as Karen takes the stage. Karen sees Jagger before he sees her and runs off the stage. Sonny comes to see her and she tells him why she ran off. He tells her to go upstairs to the apartment and wait for him.

9/13 Jagger sees Stone at the club. Jagger is under the impression that Stone is just there for fun so he tells him that's he's been to these places before too. Then the stripper Sonny fired comes up and blows Stone's cover. Jagger realizes that Stone works at the club and is not just a patron. Jagger gets pissed off. Sonny intervenes and is introduced to Jagger, which only pisses Stone off more. Jagger wants Stone to quit but he won't. Stone later convinces Jagger to step outside. Stone tells Jagger exactly what he does at the club. Jagger is dismayed when Stone sings Sonny's praises. Jagger tells Stone that anyone can see that Sonny is a hood and he doesn’t want to see Stone end up in trouble. Stone tells Jagger that Sonny is more of a brother to him than he will ever be. A broken hearted Jagger walks down by the dock and remembers a childhood Thanksgiving with his siblings.

Up at the apartment, Karen is pacing the floor, Sonny comes in and gives her a drink to calm her down. She tells him that she wants to keep both parts of her life separate. She needs this place to come to and escape. Sonny tells Karen that Jagger is gone, but he thinks that Jagger can get Stone away from Sonny’s evil influence.

9/14 Brenda is worried about Jagger who hasn’t come home all night (he is really from finding out Stone works at a strip joint and told him Sonny was more of a brother to him than Jagger). She asks Karen if she has seen him? Karen hasn’t and asks where he went. Brenda reports that he went out to look for Stone and didn’t come home. 

Jagger comes in, obviously upset, and refuses to talk. Brenda reaches out to him and reminds him that she is in this too, she is the one who was out searching for Stone with him. He tells her that he was off riding his bike. Jagger tells her that his dream of having a happy little family isn’t going to happen, its been too long. Brenda tries to reassure him and suggests he just give it time. He tells her about Sonny and the guy is trouble. Brenda observes that both Gina and Mike have new people in their lives that they care about. She also points out that initially Gina didn’t want to reconnect but she has come around and believes Mike will too. Jagger moans all he knows is that his brother has turned into a great liar.

Brenda asks Jagger about the club. He tells her a bunch of low-life characters hang out there. Karen overhears and suggests that Jagger be less judgemental. He gets angry and tells her that she broke up with him because he wasn’t good enough for her so where does she get off calling him judgemental! He tells her to stay out of his business.

Jason meets Brenda at Kelly’s, Jagger strolls over and asks how AJ’s jaw is? Marco comes in as Jagger says that he is finished with boxing. Marco asks him to wait and think it over. Jagger says that he was only boxing to take care of his family and they don’t want his help. Marco says they will talk about it further. 

9/15 Jagger can't stop thinking about Stone. Jagger tells Brenda that maybe he shouldn’t have come down so hard on Mike. Brenda suggests that he just give them time and let them come to him. He thanks her for all of her help and support. He says maybe he kept his eyes closed about things for awhile. He thought Karen was the one for him who would be there to support him but he doesn’t even know who she is anymore.

Karen is at the apartment, upset about Jagger. Sonny figures this out and gets pissed off. She tells him it's no big deal and he's the one she want's to be with which calms him down. Sonny asks Karen if she is still hung up on Jagger.
She tells Sonny how wired she gets after work and then how tired she gets during school. He gives her pills to take and says they will help.

Ray shows up in Karen's room to wake her up for class. He sits on her bed and talks about old times. She accuses him of getting her mother drunk so he could do what he wanted with Karen. He talks about how he used to help her get ready for school and pick out clothes and help her get dressed. She tells him to get out or threatens to tell her mother everything. He doesn’t believe her as she hasn’t told her mother all of these years and says that she knows the truth is she always wanted it.

Jagger thinks about Brenda's advice to not give up his boxing. Brenda tells him that he could be a great boxer but maybe today he should just take a day off for himself. He tells her he is working a double shift. Brenda suggests that maybe they can catch a movie later.

Rhonda wants to try and fix things so that Karen will not want to move out. She starts crying that Karen is ashamed of her and that is why she won’t bring her college friends home. Karen feels guilty and asks her mom to stop pushing so hard, to just let go so Karen can live her own life. Karen tells her she isn’t the good little girl that Rhonda thinks she is.

Gina comes in to see Jagger and is surprised she hasn’t heard from him. Jagger tells her he should have let Stone be and not try to change him. He tells her that Mike now calls himself “Stone”. Gina gives Jagger a “I told you so” when he tells her that Stone split, that he lied and stole from her parents before he got out of her life. Gina tells Jagger that he always took care of them and made her feel safe, he gave her more than her own mother did. 

Jagger avoids Karen at work and is snippy and angry with her about orders. Becomingly increasingly uncomfortable around him, she tells him that she can’t work all day with him like this. She tells him that he was right, she shouldn’t have butted into his relationship with his brother. She knows he is hurting and he angrily tells her to just forget it. She confronts him that this is exactly the kind of attitude that drove Stone away! 

He corrects her that his name is Mike and what the hell does she know about him? She says she knows how Jagger gets when he is hurt. He tells her she is amazing, first she apologizes for getting into his business and then does it again. He asks doesn’t she have better things to do than judge him all the time. She says she wasn’t judging, she is just concerned. He suggests that she concentrate on her own relationships, like with her mother who comes in crying all the time about Karen.

Jagger tells Brenda that he can’t just write Mike off, he remembers him when he was a little kid. Brenda tells Jagger to follow his heart where Stone is concerned. Jagger begins to regret over reacting to Mike’s job the other night.

9/17  Marco calls and gets on Jagger for ditching several training sessions. Brenda encourages him to take care of himself and his life. Karen ditches her classes to hang out at The Paradise Lounge. Karen comes to the club and can't keep her eyes open. Sonny tells her to go upstairs to his medicine cabinet and take a red pill. She is messing around on stage when Stone walks in and looks very concerned for her, she is obviously speeding from the pills.

That night Jagger is trying to get into the club but the bouncer won't let him in. Inside, Karen is talking to Stone and Sonny and is still very high. She goes backstage to get ready. As she takes the stage, Jagger punches the bouncer and before Stone can stop him he sees Karen on stage stripping.  She doesn't see Jagger, and she comes off the stage high. Sonny kisses her and plans another champagne dinner. 

9/20 Jagger blames Stone for bringing her into the club. Stone tells him that Karen is exactly where she wants to be. Jagger confronts her backstage about her stripping, she's heartbroken. Sonny breaks it up. She joins Sonny for dinner, visibly shaken, Sonny reassures her and kisses her. Sonny thinks Karen should not care about what Jagger thinks of her. He is trying to change her.   

9/21 Stone relaxes “Cari” before another show, they sip champagne, dance. 

Brenda wants to know what happened between Stone and Jagger. He just says he tried to make peace with Stone but he doesn’t want anything to do with Jagger and it got pretty ugly. He doesn't reveal that he saw Karen there. Karen comes in and Jagger says he doesn’t understand why anyone would want to be there with the sleeze if they had another choice.

Karen notices that Jagger didn’t tell Brenda. He asks her if he tells people will she stop? She says no. So he asks, “Whats the point?”. He does ask her what she is doing it? She tells Jagger that she needs the money and that is why she is stripping. He doesn't understand and he never will. She tells him to stay out of her life.

Karen goes to see Sonny. She tells him that Jagger hasn’t told anyone but she feels like her whole world is falling apart. He tells her that she is wrong, now her world is coming together and no way in hell will he allow anyone to hurt her. Sonny is very attentive and protective.

Brenda suggests that Jagger concentrate on the people who have been there for him and care about him. She says he should have woken her up when he got back last night, so she could have helped him through the pain. She kisses him softly and then immediately apologizes. Jagger pulls her to him and kisses her. She seems surprised and asked didn’t he say that he doesn’t feel that way about her any longer. She asks him if he has changed his mind about her? He asks if this helps and leans in and kisses her again.

9/22  Marco wants Jagger's full concentration on his next fight. He warns Jagger that the guy he is fighting is a professional and a serious fighter. Jagger wants Brenda at the fight as she is his inspiration. Marco warns him again that he doesn’t need any distractions. Marco tells him the “purse” for the fight is $500. 

Karen and Brenda argue. Brenda tells Karen she is just mad because Brenda and Jagger are getting along so well together. Karen snaps that they deserve each other, they were made for each other. Brenda wanders over to Jagger and giggles intimately with him. Ruby asks Karen about her feelings for Jagger and he overhears as Karen tells Ruby that she stopped caring about Jagger a long time ago.

Karen comes into Sonny’s apartment and is very wound up. She suggests that he give her something to calm her down and he gives her more pills. She tells him Jagger has this holier than though attitude towards her. He suggests that she use the energy and anger in her performance. 

After her show, Sonny has a candlelit dinner waiting for Karen. She is touched by his thoughtfulness and how elegant it is. She says she could get used to this. He smiles, “That is the idea, baby!” He toasts to their future. They dance and kiss. Karen tells him she wants to quit working at Kelly’s.

Later alone at night together, Brenda gives Jagger her lucky charm for the fight, it is a special penny that was made the year she was born. He is touched. Things get intimate between them but she pulls away and says she doesn’t want to be responsible for sapping all of his energy for the fight, Marco would never forgive her.

9/24 Brenda runs in announcing that Jagger won his fight the night before (this wasn’t aired). Brenda sits at the counter and asks Karen if it is weird for her that Jagger is out of Karen’s life, that it must be weird for her to see him with Brenda. Brenda comments that he tells her everything. Karen gets nervous about what he might have told Brenda. She rambles on about her and Jagger practically live together. She says that Jagger tells her everything about where he goes and who he sees. Karen confronts Jagger about telling Brenda? He denies it but says why does she care who knows?

Karen quits her job at Kelly’s. A sad Jagger has flashbacks to his history with Karen. Ruby thinks he should help Karen whether she wants it or not. Jagger tells her that Karen is a completely different person now and wants him to stay out of her life. Ruby says, “Then don’t.”  Ruby encourages that Karen and Jagger care about each other and suggests he help Karen. Brenda finds out Karen quit. 

Karen returns to Sonny’s place and tells him she quit Kelly’s. He says he has been waiting to hear that. She doesn’t know why she didn’t do it sooner. He tells her, “Welcome home” and promises her that she doesn’t have to ever worry about anything, that he will take care of her. They sit on the couch and snuggle and talk. Sonny and Karen make love. Jagger shows up at Sonny's apartment and finds an undressed Karen in bed there.

9/27 Brenda puts on some slow music and has flashbacks to her relationship with Jagger.

Jagger tells Karen he made a mistake, he thought she needed help. He asks her to come with him but she refuses. Jagger and Sonny get into a physical fight, and he knocks Sonny out. Sonny comes to and Stone helps him on the couch. Sonny tells him that his brother is an animal. Karen apologizes as this is her fault, that Jagger had no right to do this to him. Karen insists on taking him to GH as she thinks he might have a concussion and he needs stitches. Karen and Stone take Sonny to GH.

9/28 Jagger returns to Kelly’s and Brenda notices his hand and surmises that Karen wasn’t alone? He says he doesn’t know where to start. She tells him she knows that he went after Karen. She admits that Ruby told her. She wants to know if he found what he was looking for? He responds, “I guess in a way, I did.” Brenda asks if this story has a happy ending? He says its over between him and Karen if that is what she is getting at? 

Jagger takes Brenda up to his room and they make love. Brenda lays in Jagger’s arms and tells him they are together now and that is all that matters but it is obvious that Jagger’s mind is elsewhere.

Jason is working at GH and he wants to know what Karen is doing with Stone and Sonny. He wants to know who Sonny is and how Jagger’s brother fits into this? 

Stone tells Sonny that Jagger doesn’t listen to anybody. Sonny warns that Jagger will listen to him, and Stone looks worried. Alan comes into treat Sonny. Karen feels guilty and responsible, but she assures Stone that it is over with her and Jagger. She just wants Jagger to leave her alone. Sonny is released and will be fine. Rhonda runs into Karen and Sonny when they are leaving GH. Karen pretends that she doesn’t know Sonny in front of her mother. He thanks Karen for her help and tells Rhonda that her daughter is a nice young lady and leaves. 

Back at Sonny’s, Karen is sorry for what happened to Sonny. He says she isn’t an easy woman to let go of, that he wouldn’t be able to either. She tries to explain why she didn’t introduce him to her mom as her friend. He knows she hasn’t yet decided which life she wants before it tears her apart. She assures him that she has decided, that she knows she wants to be here now. They sleep together again. Karen wakes up at Sonny's. 

Rhonda comes into Kelly’s as Karen didn’t come home last night. Rhonda knows something else is going on with her and tries to question Jagger. He tells her that Karen quit Kelly’s yesterday.

9/29 Stone is worried what Sonny will do to Jagger after Sonny tells him he's going to get Jagger back. Stone tries to defend Jagger that he is still hung up on “Cari”. He doesn’t think Sonny needs to teach Jagger a lesson. Sonny agrees that Jagger understands the situation but he doesn’t think he will be back so no retaliation, he promises. Stone is relieved to hear it. After Stone leaves, Sonny immediately makes a call.

Karen comes into Kelly’s and Jagger defends Brenda when Karen snarks at her. Brenda says that everything worked out as it was meant to her, Brenda with Jagger, and Karen with her new guy. Rhonda comes back into Kelly’s and confronts Karen about not coming home last night. Rhonda convinces her to just cut back her hours at Kelly and not quit. 

Jagger and Brenda go on a picnic. Brenda tells him how much she matters to him. She tells him that she picked this spot as it is near the cabin they spent time in. She asks if he remembers? He does and we get a nice music montage of Karen and Jagger scenes there.

Karen goes to the club to tell Sonny that her mom made her take her job at Kelly's back. He tells her that she always has a choice, that it is her life and kisses her. He tells her to go upstairs and they will talk about it. On the way up the stairs, she drops her key and overhears Sonny making arrangements to retaliate against Jagger.

9/30  Karen tries to stop Sonny, she is frightened for Jagger. She interrupts as Sonny is giving instructions. He tells her that Jagger will learn a little something about control. Sonny pulls her away and tells her she is to never disagree with him like that, especially in front of his people. She is scare about him going after Jagger. Sonny tells her this is an issue of respect. Karen says that only her and Stone are the only people that know about it. Sonny says he has two scores to settle, Jagger not only disrespected Sonny but he also disrespected Karen.

Karen tells Stone and he defends Sonny’s actions. Karen can’t believe that he is just going to stand around as his brother gets beaten to a pulp. Karen heads to Kelly’s determined to find Jagger. Karen sends her to GH, though Jagger is actually working out at the gym with Marco. Karen flies back in later and says Jagger wasn’t at GH. Ruby reports he is at the gym. Marco tells her there were a couple of guys who came in looking for him.

Stone also tries to discourage Sonny from going after Jagger. Sonny isn't happy with either of them for their interference. He tells Stone he has to choose, that its an issue of loyalty. Jagger is taken from Kelly’s by Sonny's two men at gunpoint.

10/1 Karen comes back into Kelly’s looking for Jagger. Karen and Brenda start screaming at each other, neither telling the other what happened. Marco comes in and Karen takes him outside and tells him that Jagger is in trouble. Marco wants to know the whole story. She says that Jagger didn’t want his brother working at Sonny’s club. Brenda comes out and asks Marco what is going on? He tells her they are fight promoters, which she doesn’t believe. Marco and Ruby both tell her she has to stay at Kelly’s.

Jagger is taken to the basement of The Paradise Lounge. Later, Stone finds him tied up and beaten. Jagger challenges him to give him his best shot. Sonny comes in and once again forces Stone to choose, Stone walks out rather than choose Jagger over Sonny. Marco and Karen show up at Sonny’s and ask him to release Jagger.

10/4 Stone unties Jagger when no one is there but when Jagger hears someone coming, he tells Stone to back off. Jagger covers for Stone by acting like he was hurting him instead of helping him. Marco bargains with Sonny for Jagger’s release. Karen and Stone watch the negotiations on the video monitor. Stone tells Karen he should never have brought Marco to the club. Karen seems real nervous about what Sonny is capable of doing. She asks Stone for reassurance that Sonny wouldn’t really hurt someone they care about, would he? Stone doesn’t answer. Marco makes a 50/50 deal with Sonny on Jagger's future boxing endeavors in exchange for Jagger's release with the stipulation that Jagger can't know anything about their deal. Sonny releases Jagger, and tells him never to come to the club again and to stay away from “Cari”.  He tells his guards to take him out with the rest of the trash.

Jagger returns to a relived Brenda back at Kelly’s. Brenda suspects that his injuries have something to do with Karen but he does not want to talk about it. 

Karen is surprised that Sonny just let Jagger go? She asks what was the point of this whole thing? He says there is no point in teaching a lesson when it hurts the lady more. Sonny tells Karen that she hurt him deeply for not trusting him and bringing Marco to the club. He asks if he ever gave her a reason not to trust him? He reminds her that he is the one who takes care of her.

10/5 Jagger wants to know if Marco got him released from Sonny? Marco lies that he tried to bargain with Sonny but it must have been Karen that ultimately got him released. Jagger is hurt but he insists he is not canceling his next fight.

Karen tells Jason she is not doing that great at PCU and she is afraid that she could lose her scholarship as her grades are slipping. Karen pops some pills to get through her shift at Kelly’s. Brenda accuses Karen of getting Jagger in trouble. 

Karen sees Jagger and asks if he is okay? He tells her not to worry that he will never come after her again. Marco wants a written contract with Jagger. Jagger tells him they don't need one, he trusts him.  Karen blows up at Ruby after she voices concern for her. Alan notices a very run down Karen and wants her to cut back her hours at the hospital. Jason covers for Karen while she lied to her father.

DVD #6B  10/7 (Note: New pre-empted the first 10 minutes of this episode, don’t know how many scenes are missing for this series.) Jagger agrees to look at the boxing contract that Marco wants him to sign. Marco brings a contract for Sonny to sign. Sonny wants to see the contract Marco has with Jagger first.

Brenda tells Jagger that Karen did horrible on her midterms and Rhonda flipped out of her. Brenda wonders what is going on, first the rich guy and limo rides, now Karen flaking out on school. Jagger snaps that he and Karen are over and she is just someone he works with. Brenda promises not to talk about Karen again. Later, Brenda suggests that her and Jagger move in together.

Karen tells Stone that she wants to cut her hours at the club but he tells her that Sonny is not going to like that. She says that her life is falling apart. She sees Marco on the monitor and runs down to catch him and wants to know why he is there? He says he is checking up to make sure that everything is cool with Jagger. When she goes back upstairs, Sonny asks here where she has been. She lies to cover, and tells him she is really tired asks Sonny for more pills. He is surprised that she has already gone through all of the ones he gave her.

10/8 Stone apologies to Jagger for “the other night” right in front of Brenda. Jagger wants nothing to do with Stone as long as he is connected to Sonny. A rattle and speeding Karen drops a coffee mug at Kelly’s. She apologizes profusely to Alan. After seeing what shape Karen is in, Alan wants a meeting with her later at GH. 

Karen is desperately looking for pills when Stone comes in. She tells him that she lost the pills that Sonny gave her. He says he can’t help her as he doesn’t have the connection. Stone is worried about her and suggests she lay down and try to get some sleep. 

Ruby tells Jagger about Karen’s shaky behavior and she is also worried about her. Brenda comes in and flirts with Jagger. She says she won’t ask him again about the Karen situation and says they shouldn’t go to bed angry. He is surprised as its the middle of the afternoon. She smiles and says they can take a break.

When she comes into GH, Alan sits Karen down and asks her what is going on? He can see how tired she is going to class, studying, working at GH and at Kelly’s. He comments on how badly her hands were shaking. He asks her is she is using artificial stimulants to stay wake or to go to sleep. She denies it, but he tells her she has all the signs of use. He offers that she can come to him for anything at all. While on duty, Karen steals pills from GH. 

10/11  Amy finds pills missing from the GH supply cabinet and she reports it to Alan and Steve Hardy. She says that the only person who had access to the keys was Karen Wexler. Steve wants to see her immediately. Alan intervenes and says he may know what is going on and asks Steve to allow him to look into it.

A dazed Karen bails on her shift at Kelly’s. Brenda and Robin follow her to The Paradise Lounge and figure out it is a strip joint. Brenda figures out that is where Stone works but why is Karen there. Robin says Stone is a jerk. Brenda revels that this is scandalous beyond her wildest dreams. Brenda thinks they should go in and see what she's doing in there but when they try only she can get in but Robin can't so Robin goes home. Brenda goes inside (in disguise wearing a hat and glasses) and this is where she sees Sonny for the first time and he kisses Karen. Brenda says to herself about Sonny, “Who is that!” (this is the first time she lays eyes on him).

Karen tells Stone that she is having a time working the club. She says it used to be an escape from her life but not any longer. Stone tells her not to talk about this with Sonny and warns her that he wouldn’t understand. Karen goes backstage to get ready. Stone comes in to see her and finds her popping pills. She tells him she just needs them to get through the night. She is really shaky and in bad shape. He wants to know where she got them from? She lets him think she got them on the street. He picks up the bottle and realizes that she stole them. He yells at her, tells her to save herself and get out if she can’t handle working there. He offers to handle Sonny and he will take her home. and quit the club. 

Sonny walks in and Stone says that she isn’t feeling well. Sonny asks Stone to leave them alone. Sonny convinces her stay and perform at the club. Karen takes the stage and Brenda watches in shock with her mouth hanging open. Karen, drugged out, hallucinates that her step-father Ray is in the audience, she runs off stage frightened. Sonny is mad at her for running off stage. He asks her to explain what happened? Why did she cheat the audience?  He tells has watched her on stage and she has loved it, loved the attention, asked for it. This touches a nerve and she screams that she never asked for it.

10/12  Karen tells Sonny she is finished stripping, that she can’t do it anymore. She reminds him of his words that she was in control, that she had the power. She yells at him that he lied to her, that she doesn’t control anything. She tells him that she feels ugly and vile and used. Sonny tries to smooth things over and tells her she has just been working too much and she just needs some time off, and to catch up on her sleep. He offers to take her away for the weekend. She says no, that she has to get away from there or something very bad will happen.

Sonny tries to make her feel like she has nothing to go back to. She says she was a good girl and will be a good girl.  He cruelly throws Ray in her face. She can't believe him and tells him he is just like Ray and runs out. When an angry Sonny tries to go after her Stone stops him. Stone tells Sonny that she is speeding, wired out of her mind. Stone says he tried to tell him earlier that she was in no shape to work tonight. Stone offers to go find her and calm her down. Stone asks Sonny for once to let him to something for Sonny.

After Brenda leaves the club, she runs into Mrs Wexler and Ruby at Kelly's. They are talking about Karen and wondering where she is. Ruby knows that Brenda knows something and insists that she tell the truth. Just as Brenda reveals that Karen is working as a stripper, Jagger walks in. He gets mad at Brenda for ratting out Karen. Ruby comes in and tells them to take their argument somewhere else.

Jagger is furious and takes her upstairs. He tells her that he thought he and Brenda had something good together. He doesn’t understand why Brenda felt the need to tell Rhonda the truth in front of Ruby, in the middle of Kelly’s. Brenda accuses Jagger of taking out his anger on her, when he is really angry at Karen. He snaps that they sure picked the right person to be the model of Deception. Brenda accuses that he isn’t protecting Rhonda, but his idea of who Karen was.

Brenda tells him that he told her it was over with Karen but everytime she turns around it is about him and Karen. He asks if she knew that he was still hung up on Karen then why did she sleep with him. She yells that he is an idiot, she slept with him because she is in love with him. Brenda asks Jagger just to be honest with her, is she wasting her time with him? She says there are a lot of guys who would want to be with her, but all she wants is him. She tells him that she doesn’t want to hurt Rhonda or Karen, that she just wants him to see her. She begins kissing him and they end up in bed together.

Karen goes back home and crying calls for her mom. Stone follows Karen back to her apartment and tells her that Sonny is not going to just let her go, that he is madder than he has ever seen Sonny. Rhonda goes to The Paradise Lounge looking for Karen. She refuses to believe Karen is working there. Sonny tells her that she doesn’t know the first thing about her daughter, to go home and try to learn something. Rhonda comes home and asks Karen how long has she been working at that place? How long has she been lying to her? Karen begs her mom to let her tell her what happened. 

After Rhonda and Karen argue, she leaves with Stone. Stone takes Karen to a cheap motel room for the night to sleep off the effects of all the pills. He holds her and she says that is all she wanted her mom to do, to just hold her. She says she feels like she has lost everything that was important to her. 

10/13 Alan confronts Karen about stealing drugs from the hospital. He tells her that if she lies to him that she can’t help her and he will have no choice but to call the police. He tells her that he wouldn’t hurt her for anything in the world but what kind of person would he be if he just let her go off and get into trouble. Karen comes clean with Alan and tells her that she took them. She tells him that she has been going through some really awful things lately and she just used them to get her through it. He tells her that he knew interns that took drugs to get through it and they are not doctors but drug addicts. He gives her another chance but insists she goes through detox. She says she doesn’t deserve this from him. He stops her and says if she doesn’t believe that she deserves kindness and compassion how will anyone else.

Jason approaches an obviously upset Karen. He offers her a tissue and sits with her. He hopes his father wasn’t too hard on her. She says no that he was kind and caring. He jokes that was she sure she was talking about his father? Rhonda enters GH and Alan and Monica stop her and suggest that Karen isn’t up for a lecture, but she needs to be taken home and cared for.

10/14 A furious Sonny wants to know from Stone where Karen is. Stone says there is a lot of stuff going on that Sonny doesn’t understand. Stone tells Sonny that Karen isn’t like the other girls and he doesn’t think she will come back. After Rhonda leaves, Sonny shows up at Karen's apartment. He says that he won't make her return, then tries to talk her into it. She refuses and tells him that she hated stripping. He says she hated the way she was and wanted to change. She corrects him that she was trying to escape and he used her. 

He wants to know where they stand with their relationship, outside of the club? He points out that she trusted him, that she trusted him enough to make love to him. Amazed she asks if he remembers the things he said to her last night? How he through her experience with Ray in her face. He says that no one else understands her the way he does. She bought all of his bull as she needed something to believe, she still does but it is not that. He grabs her and kisses her. He agrees that this is a temporary situation (her being away from him and the club).

Stone suggests to Karen that she lay low for awhile where Sonny can't find her as he is madder than he has ever seen Sonny. Karen is too tired to care. Stone doesn’t know if she is either really brave or really crazy?

10/15 Jagger and Brenda talk about what they want to do with their lives beyond boxing and modeling. 

10/18 Sonny visits Karen while she's on duty at GH. He gives her a present, which she refuses to accept and tells him to leave her alone. She tells him she doesn't want him, when he won't take no for an answer she calls a guard to throw him out. 

Sonny goes to see Marco and they talk about Jagger’s next fight. Sonny tells him that he owns a piece of Jagger’s next opponent and he wants Jagger to take a dive. He threatens Marco if he doesn’t cooperate.

10/20 Marco tells Jagger he is taking a dive in his next fight. Jagger refuses but Marco tells him he doesn’t have a choice. Jagger learns that Sonny now owns a piece of him in boxing. Jagger tells Sonny he is not throwing the fight on Friday night. He doesn’t care what kind of papers Sonny has, no one owns him. Sonny threatens Jagger that if he doesn't throw the fight, something will happen to Karen. 

10/21  Sonny requests that Stone get Karen to come to Jagger's fight.  Brenda gives Karen a half-hearted apology for sending her mother over to The Paradise Lounge. Jagger thinks that Sonny is bluffing when it comes to his threat to hurt Karen. Jagger overhears Karen say that she ended things with Sonny. Stone invites Karen to Jagger's fight.

10/22  Alan learns that the strain of two jobs is really taking its toll on Karen. Alan offers her a loan but she turns him down. Brenda tells Jagger that she has already booked a hotel for them in NYC for his victory celebration after the fight. Jason learns that Karen is on probation for stealing drugs. Ray shows up at Rhonda's apartment wanting to go partying with her. 

On fight night, Brenda, Robin, Karen, and Stone come in. Sonny sits by Karen and Stone. Brenda asks Robin what she thinks of Karen's new boyfriend Sonny? Robin says they don't look much in love to her. Jagger’s fight against O’Reilly begins.

10/25 Jagger does not take the dive and wins. Sonny is ticked. Sonny grabs Karen by the hair and starts pulling her out of there. Jagger punches him, and he and Karen run out. Jagger runs into Kelly’s, tells Ruby someone is after them, and he has to “make tracks”. He borrows $300 from Ruby. He tells Karen and Ruby that Sonny wanted him to throw the fight tonight but he didn’t.  Brenda comes in and wants to know what is going on. He tells her that he and Karen have to go as Sonny is after them. He tells Brenda he will explain as soon as he can. Karen says he is out of her head that Sonny would never threaten her. He tells her they have to get going. They rush upstairs to grab some clothes.

Brenda heads up after them but Ruby stops her. She asks her not to slow them down, that their lives are in danger. Upstairs, Jagger tells Karen about Sonny threatening her. She doesn’t believe it, she reminds him that Sonny let Jagger go when she asked him to. Jagger says they only reason that Sonny let him go was that Marco gave 50% of his contract to Sonny. He tells her that Sonny wanted him to take a dive that he threatened Karen. Jagger begs her to understand why they have to get away.

Brenda at Kelly's going on about how she won't give up on Jagger and let him go off with Karen without talking to him. Sonny comes in looking for Jagger, Brenda overhears and heads upstairs to warn him. They take off out the fire escape. Ruby is calm while Sonny threatens her, he's impressed by her coolness. Sonny finds Brenda in Jagger's room, painting her toes, it looks like she's waiting for Jagger to return. Brenda asks if they've ever tried knocking, after all she might not have been decent, "What would we have done then?". Sonny replies that they would have thought of something. He says right now he is looking for Jagger. She seductively poses and says, “What a coincidence, so is she.”

Sonny threatens Marco. Jagger and Karen go to the abandoned cabin. Karen tells Jagger that Sonny is not going to quit until he finds them.

10/28 Jagger admits to Karen that he still loves her. But Karen tells him she is confused about her feelings and she doesn't know if she can love anyone again. Karen and Jagger make love.

10/29  Karen tells Jagger they can't keep running. They need to decide what they are going to do. Karen tells Jagger that she needs to work on her until she feels whole again, only then can she love him the way that he should be loved. Julia tells Brenda about Ned setting her up. Brenda thinks Julia should fight fire with fire and dig up something on Ned. Karen and Jagger head back to PC.

11/1 Karen and Jagger go to Sean for help with Sonny. Sean has known Sonny is a small time racketeer but has been unable to build a case against him as of yet. Sean wants to lean on Marco and he wants Karen to testify against Sonny as she was underage when she stripped at the club. Garcia and Sean question Sonny and he is arrested for threatening Karen and Jagger. Karen also tells Sean about Ray molesting her. Karen wants Ray arrested for sexual abuse. Sean offers Karen a place to stay for the night. 

11/3 Brenda is hurt that Jagger hasn’t been around lately. Jagger blows off Brenda when he returns, he has to go meet Karen at the PCPD. Ray is brought into the PCPD, where Karen confronts him. She says that he molested her from the time she has ten years old. Ray of course denies it all and tells her she should be ashamed of herself.

Sean tells Karen that he can't lock up Ray without any evidence but he is going to continue to investigate. Sean is sure that Karen will not be the only child that Ray has abused. Karen says she needs to go home, the hardest part of all will be telling her mom. Jagger takes her home and she thanks him and tells him she never could have faced Ray without Jagger by her side. She worries that her mom won’t believe her as she is friends with Ray.

Sonny wants to move into the big time. He tells Frank Smith's man that if Smith can get him off the hook with the police, he will be his man in PC. His attorney advises him to stay away from Jagger and Karen.

Ruby introduces Jagger to Lucky (who has just arrived in town), two armed gunman burst into Kelly’s. Jagger takes on both of the goons as Ruby calls the police. Jagger runs them off and Lucky makes a break for it.

11/4 At Kelly’s, Jagger thanks Brenda for warning him about Sonny the other night. He fills her in on Sonny threatening Karen if he didn’t take a dive. He says he took Karen to the cabin. Brenda shakily asks him what happened at the cabin? She asks if he slept with her? He asks what difference that would make? That answers her question. He tells her this isn’t about her. She says it never is about her, its always about Karen and Brenda is tired of getting jerked around. Brenda tells him not to come around to her until he can get a clue of what he has put her through.

11/5 Karen arrives home to find her mom passed out drunk. The next morning, Karen has an attitude with her mom for being drunk again. Rhonda tells her to give her a break that she is going through a rough time. Karen tells her mom that she doesn’t have a clue about what Karen has been going through, this is nothing to do with Sonny, its about Ray. Karen tells Rhonda that when she was a child and her mom was passed out drunk that Ray had raped her.
