Karen, Jagger, Jason, Robin, Brenda & Stone #6  June 11 - July 30, 1993 - 8 hr original edit

DVD #6A  Brenda strolls into Kelly’s before the prom. Jagger comments that the girl’s take half a day to get ready and wonders what she is doing there. She notices he is carrying his tux, and says, “Its too bad your going with the wrong girl.”  Karen comes out all ready and her mom raves about how beautiful she looks. Jagger picks up Karen for the prom and tells her she looks better than gorgeous. She tells him that he is also looking gorgeous (he is wearing a white tux jacket). 

The PC High Senior Prom is underway, Jason, Brenda, Darren and Robin stand in the doorway watching all the action as Val’s band plays and students dance. Jason is worried that they didn’t tell Robin about Darren’s girlfriend. He is worried that Robin is falling for him and will get hurt. Brenda says it is just one date and Robin will be fine. Meanwhile, Val pops down off the stage to greet Robin and tell her she looks great.

Jagger and Karen roll up on his motorcycle, not a hair out of place. Brenda makes snarky comments about how sweet Karen’s dress is, and asks if her mom made it? Karen tells her they should just ignore each other that night. Each couple takes their picture: Darren & Robin, Jagger & Karen, Jason & Brenda. Robin raves to Karen about how long she has had a huge crush on Darren. Jagger comes up and Robin asks Jagger if he likes Darren? Robin jokes as they walk off that is good so they won’t cramp her style with Darren when he returns to her.

Brenda watches Karen and Jagger kissing on the dance floor and says they make her sick. Brenda asks Jason if he ever slept with Karen? She wonders if he thinks that Karen and Jagger are sleeping together. Robin is surprised and hurt when Darren's girlfriend Sandy shows up at the prom. He ditches Robin to dance with his girlfriend and Robin is crushed. Darren tells Robin that Sandy is his girlfriend and attends PCU. Sandy was supposed to be out of town and wanted to surprise him with one dance. She wasn’t planning on staying as she didn’t want to ruin Robin’s night. Robin tells him to go ahead as she has a headache and was going to head home anyway.

Karen tells Jagger about numerous after parties. He tells her it is her night and they can do whatever they want. She isn’t really interested in going to the parties as they are all Jason’s friends. In the bathroom, Karen accuses Brenda of sleeping around. Brenda says she has only slept with one guy, Jagger! An upset Robin comes in and tells her friends about Darren’s girlfriend showing up.

6/14 Val asks Jason what happened to Robin’s date, he saw him leave with another girl. Jagger is upset to learn that Jason knew about this and didn’t tell Robin. Val stops them before they come to blows and asks if they really want Robin to come out and see them fighting, that would really give her a night to remember. Val comes in the bathroom and asks to talk to Robin. Val comments on what a class act she is, as she could have made a scene out there. She asks why he is being so nice to her? He tells her that he likes her and he doesn’t want her leaving or hiding out in the bathroom all night. Val turns Robin's night around. He invites her to hang out with the band the rest of the night and teasingly asks if she plays the tamborine.

Karen and Brenda rejoin Jason and Jagger who are still arguing over the Robin situation. Jason says he has to live with the decision he made not to tell Robin about her date’s girlfriend. Karen can’t believe that Darren dumped her like that. This sets Jason off, who demands to know, “Like what Karen? Like in front of all of her friends in the middle of a dance? I thought you of all people could understand exactly where Darren was coming from.” He is alluding to the Valentine’s dance when Jagger showed up and Karen took off with him, leaving Jason alone. Karen apologizes once again to Jason, though Jagger tells Jason he is really getting on his nerves by bringing that up again. Brenda intervenes and drags Jason off to dance. 

Val calls out for the dance couples to change partners. She of course quickly lets go of Jason to grab Jagger. Karen winds up with Jason and tells him he doesn’t have to dance with her, but he is a gentleman and dances with her. They both stare at Jagger and Brenda dancing together the entire time. Val takes a break from performing to dance with Robin. Karen suggestively tells Jagger that she wants to go back to his room. He gets a happy look on his face. He asks her if she is really ready? She says she can’t think of a more perfect night for them to make love. They continue kissing and start undressing each other. Unfortunately, she can't block out her childhood memories. She suddenly pulls away from him and says, “Please don’t”.

Jason and Brenda wind up at the beach with a campfire. Jason puts the moves on Brenda and leans in and kisses her and they start making out. Robin and Val hang out on the dock, talking. Val really likes Robin and tells her that while he meets a lot of girls being in a band, that he has never met anyone like her. He tells her she wasn’t the loser tonight, it was Darren.

6/15 Brenda puts the brakes on with Jason. Jason accuses Brenda of using him to make Jagger jealous, that she has been coming on to him all night long. Brenda apologies to Jason for leading him on, she thought they had an understanding. He accuses her of using him. Brenda admits that she hates seeing Jagger and Karen together and she wanted to make him jealous. Jason tells her to face it that they are together, and the sooner she faces it the better for her.

Karen grabs her clothes. Jagger worriedly asks what is wrong? She assures him that he didn’t do anything wrong and flees his room. Robin thanks Val. They say goodbye as Val is going to NYC for an audition. After seeing Karen run out of Kelly, Ruby questions Jagger about what happened between them? Robin returns to the brownstone to an upset Mac who was up worried about her not coming home. 

Jason takes Brenda back to the brownstone. Mac wants to know where Robin is? They explain about Darren bailing on her and the musician who likes her. Mac is not thrilled all the details on Val, the musician. Felicia drags Mac off to get something to eat. Brenda thanks Jason for bringing her home. He tells her that he respects her right to say no but she can’t keep pulling this with him. A very happy, dreamy eyed Robin finally comes home. Felicia wants to hear all the details while Mac wants to interrogate her.

Brenda shows up at Kelly’s and asks Jagger about his night last night. He is very quiet, and she teasingly asks him if he struck out with her again? Brenda wants some kind of reaction from Jagger when she tells him she spent the night on the beach with Jason. He tells her if she is waiting for some kind of reaction from him that she is wasting her time. Angrily she tells him he is the most frustrating guy and stomps off!

6/17 Jagger gets ready for the boxing tournament but his mind seems to be somewhere else. Marco tries to get Jagger to focus, he figures he is having woman problems. Marco wants his concentration on the fight and nothing else. Jason, AJ, and Brenda all show up to watch the fight. Brenda teases that Jason is hoping to see Jagger get beaten up? Jason is still hostile towards her and she calls him on it. She doesn’t want to lose his friendship but he doesn’t know if he wants a friend who uses him. She wears him down and he agrees to give her one more chance but makes her promise to never do this to him again.

Karen avoids Jagger to not have to talk about what happened between them and doesn’t go to his fight. Brenda stands ring side and gives him a pep talk. Jagger wins his amateur night middle weight fight. Lucy and Scott also attend the fight. She watches Brenda and Jagger together and tells Scott that Brenda is the face for Pure Deception. She wants to do a shoot in the boxing ring. She wants to set up a test shoot for Brenda. Karen comes in and watches Brenda and Jagger playing around together and walks out. Brenda smiles to herself in satisfaction. Lucy approaches Brenda with the idea of being their new model.

6/18 Jagger catches up to Karen on the dock and wants to talk about what is bothering Karen. Karen tells him that she can’t explain. He is very understanding and offers to take her home. Back at Kelly’s, she blows him off. He knows something is wrong but she just can’t talk to him about it. Karen can't shake her memory from her childhood. At home, she cries, wondering what is wrong with her. Downstairs, Brenda compliments Jagger on his success in the fight. Brenda tells Jagger that she wants her own place. She teases him that she can move in next door to him, or maybe they can share a room? She does get him to laugh. AJ and Jason invite Monica to the next boxing match. Monica tells them that Alan has not called once from the convention. 

6/21 Karen keeps Jagger at a distance with preparations for her graduation. Brenda asks Ruby if she can rent a room at Kelly’s. Ruby wants a responsible tenant and she agrees to think about it. Ruby asks Jagger how he and Karen feel about her living there. Jagger says it is okay with him, that Brenda doesn’t get to him. After he leaves, Ruby tells Karen that Jagger is in a lot of pain and so is she. Karen thinks it is too late for them. Karen cries and tells her that it is too hard for her to talk about. She fills Ruby in on what didn’t happen.

Lucy comes in for a meeting with Brenda. Ruby tells Karen that Brenda has a modeling job. Karen snarks, “For what? Rat poison?” Lucy asks Jagger to help her convince Marco to use the gym for Brenda's test shots for Deceptions. Lucy persuades Jagger to be Brenda's sparring partner for the photo shoot. Karen apologizes to Jagger for blowing him off. Ruby later does agree to allow Brenda to move in. Lucy and Brenda review the photos at Kelly’s. Brenda gloats to Karen about Jagger being in the gym photo shoot with her. 

Karen has a strange reaction when Rhonda's old boyfriend, Ray Conway, show up in Kelly's. He says that he may decide to move back to PC. She seems quiet and nervous but passes it off on her upcoming graduation.

6/23  Brenda enters Kelly’s, dragging multiple suitcases with her for her move into her Kelly’s apartment. She asks Jagger for help, and he jokes that he thought she was going to be independent. She says she does, and she can take care of it herself as she is learning to be independent. Karen suggests that Brenda learn how to tell the truth. AJ and Jason come into it at Kelly’s. Brenda asks them for help hooking up her new stereo system in her room. Jagger gives AJ attitude when he leaves his jacket at the table. Jagger later heads to the gym and watches AJ in a boxing fight at the gym. Brenda worries that AJ looks pretty good and asks Jagger if he thinks he can take him?

6/24 Ray brings Rhonda and Karen breakfast on the day of her graduation ceremony. Karen declines as she isn’t hungrey. Jagger gives Karen a present for her graduation. Alan returns from the convention just in time for Jason's graduation. Jagger suspects that Ray is the reason that Karen is acting so strange.  Ray gives Karen the creeps.

6/25 Felicia fishes around Robin to see if she knows where Mac is taking her for their first official date. Karen remembers that it was Ray who molested her when she as a little girl. Jagger arrives to pick up Karen for graduation, but she is gone. Alan and Monica meet Rhonda's boyfriend Ray at the graduation. Jagger finds a very upset Karen but she refuses to tell him what is wrong. Karen's speech is less that spectacular and she ditches Jagger after the graduation ceremony.

6/28 Jagger is worried when Karen still has not shown up at her mom's apartment and goes after her. Karen can't escape the memories of her abuse. The Quartermaines have a party for Jason back at the mansion. Alan drops off a present for Karen at Rhonda's. Jagger returns with no Karen. Karen finally returns and lies about where she was. Jagger suspects something is wrong. Brenda gets ticked when Julia tells her that she is not going to consider Brenda for the new Deception model.

6/30 Rhonda finds the graduation gift that Ray gave Karen in the trash. Jagger tells Brenda that if he and AJ both win their next fight they will then face each other in the ring. Julia agrees that she will consider allowing Brenda model for Deception. Rhonda tells Karen that her Aunt Sally broke her hip and she has to go to Michigan to take care of her. 

7/1 Felicia invites Mac to lake with her, Maxie, and Robin on the 4th of July. AJ and Jagger taunt each other at the gym. With Ray hanging around, Karen is not wild about Rhonda being out of town for a long time. AJ is happy when Alan and Jason show up for his boxing fight. AJ makes quick work of his opponent. Jagger defeats his opponent as well. AJ, Jason, and Brenda see Alan kiss Rhonda at Jakes. Karen wants to know why Rhonda feels that she can trust Ray so much? 

7/6 AJ tells Jason that he intents to confront Alan about his relationship with Rhonda. Brenda tells the Q boys that Rhonda probably came on to Alan at a vulnerable moment but Jakes Bar is very public and that people may have seen them together. Karen wants to make Jagger dinner.  Karen overhears Gail and Bobbie talking about a support group and she asks Gail about the group. Brenda and Jagger read in the paper about a teenage boy who overdosed in an alley. Jagger is worried it may have been Mike. Jagger checks with the morgue at GH and learns that it is not Mike that was found dead.  Brenda fills Karen in on Alan and Rhonda. 

7/7 Jagger wants to know what happened to Karen last night? She plays dumb, he reminds her that they had a date and she didn’t show. He says he called her but she didn’t answer. She covers by saying that she took a shower. He says it must have been an all night shower as he called her a million times. Jagger tells her that he knows what happened to her when she was a kid. Karen looks shocked. He says thinks that Ray probably reminds her of when she was a kid and her mom’s drinking. Jagger assures her things are different now, that they are together.

Alan comes into Kelly’s. He asks if she has heard from her mother? She gets snippy with him and he tries to explain to Karen that he and her mother are only friends. He promises her that he would never do anything to embarrass her. AJ comes in and asks if Alan is getting a little something to go with his coffee. Alan insists that if AJ doesn’t respect him, that Karen deserves respect. AJ insults Karen and makes a comment, daughter like mother. Alan leaves and AJ continues his nastiness towards Karen. He makes insinuations that maybe Alan would like a mother/daughter thing. Jagger tosses him out of Kelly’s. They get into a physical fight until Karen breaks it up. After AJ leaves, Karen demands to know why Jagger did this? He said because he heard what AJ was saying to her. She cries that she doesn’t deserve to have Jagger stand up for her like that.

7/8 Jagger and AJ give each other the evil eye at the gym. When Marco sees them bruised up, he demands to know what happened? Marco tells them the fight is off, as the doctor won’t okay it. He tells them they both have to forfeit. Marco tells them they are idiots. Jagger has a cut over his eye, if he gets hit there, blood will get in his eye. Marco points to AJ’s rib and says that is probably broken. After AJ leaves, Marco asks him why he couldn’t have waited till tonight to get his shot at AJ. Marco insists that Jagger has to stay focused and take care of business. He tells Jagger that he was so stupid.

DVD #6B  Monica hears AJ harassing Karen and learns about his fight with Jagger.  Jason hits a nerve with Karen when he calls her a whore like her mother. Jagger settles her down but she later tells him that she does not want his help. Karen has another flashback of how Ray abused her as a child. When he shows up at the apartment she confronts him and he of course pleads innocent.

7/9  Karen tells Ray she remembers everything that he did to her. He tells her the reason Karen never told her mother what he did to her was because she liked it. Karen refuses to let Jagger in when he arrives at her apartment.

7/12 Jason thinks AJ should not let Alan push his buttons. 

7/13  Karen has a nightmare about Ray. Jagger is worried when Karen is late for work. Felicia shows up for her workout at the boxing gym. Marco succeeds in getting her to leave but she vows that it will not be the last he has heard from her. Brenda tries to help Jagger but he just wants his space. Ray shows up in Karen's bedroom.

7/14 Brenda joins Felicia's picket line protesting the no women allowed policy at the boxing gym. Lila Q joins the picket line. Julia gives Brenda the modeling gig but with deal that she has to go to PCU in the fall.

7/15 Karen is late to work again. Rhonda returns back from her out of town trip, she and Karen argue. Marco allows women to start working out at his gym. Jason tells AJ to back off Jagger as he has no reason for his anger toward him. Monica tells the boys to but out of the relationship with Alan. Karen breaks up with Jagger.

7/16  Jagger can't believe his ears after Karen tells him it's over between them.  Karen tells Jagger that she is not the person he thinks she is. She tells him that he doesn't fit in her life anymore. Lucy fills Brenda in on the photo shoot at the gym. Brenda learns Karen and Jagger have broke up. To make some money, Jagger wants Marco to line him up on as many fights as he can. Jagger gives Brenda the brush off when she tries to be a friend to him. 

7/19 Jagger tells Ruby that he and Karen are finished. Ruby and Jagger try and convince Sly to go home but he does not want to face his dad. Jagger agrees to let Sly stay with him just until he works things out with his dad. 

7/20 Marco lines up a fight for Jagger. Brenda has her photo shoot for Deception at the gym. Brenda shows up at Jagger's fight despite Marco telling her not to as she would be a distraction. Brenda offers Jagger a ride back to PC after the fight. Brenda's car breaks down stranding her and Jagger in the middle of nowhere. 

7/21Jagger and Brenda wake up after having been forced to sleep in Brenda's car after it broke down. Karen has a pang of jealousy when she sees Brenda and Jagger return to Kelly’s together.  Jagger tells Sly that although he and his dad fight, he is still very lucky to have him. Ruby can sense the tension between Jagger and Karen. Jagger asks Ruby to schedule them at different time at Kelly’s. Jason tells Karen that the reason that things probably did not work out with Jagger was because she is a control freak. Jagger gets word that Mike's foster mother wants to meet with him.

7/22  Holly goes to say goodbye to Mac, Robin, and Felicia as she is leaving PC. Karen learns that Rhonda gave a spare key to their apartment to Ray. Brenda invites Robin and Jagger to a rave. Jagger meets with Mike's foster mom but she has no new leads on him. She does however give him some names of places that Mike hung out at. Desperate for any news on Mike, Jagger wants to see Gina again even though she does not want to see him. Karen tries to stop him as Gina's parents have a court order against him.

7/23 Jagger tells Karen to mind her own business where he is concerned. She has made her feelings clear. Gina's parents call the police on Jagger and he is arrested. Jagger shows up at Gina's house. Karen gets the address of the rave. Karen and Mike end up at the same rave. Two shady guys at the rave spike Karen's drink with ecstasy.

7/26 Brenda wants to know if Ruby knows why Karen and Jagger broke up. Sean, while questioning Jagger, learns that Gina is his sister.  Gina tells Jagger again that she wants no contact with him. She agrees that if she gets any information on Mike, she will let him know. Gina's parents drop the charges against Jagger. Sean offers Jagger some help with finding Mike. Mike steps in and tries to help Karen at the rave. Karen is feeling the effects of the ecstasy but Mike is able to step in and save her from leaving the rave with the two shady guys.  Mike takes Karen back to his place and she still wants to party. Brenda is waiting for Jagger when he returns to Kelly’s. (Note: news interruption: a few minutes missing from this episode, don’t know if any scenes from this storyline involved). Brenda and Jagger go for a night swim at the beach. Brenda tells Jagger that she has never cared about anyone like she cares for him.

7/27 Garcia wants Jagger to come to PCPD to start the search for Mike. Garcia tells Jagger he wants to check all the halfway houses for runways for Mike. Karen wakes up on Mike couch with no memory of the previous night. Mike introduces himself as “Stone”. Karen learns she was drugged. Robin tells Mac that it is a mistake to turn down Felicia as a partner. 

7/28 AJ tells Jason that he feels he will not get anywhere working for Ned. Brenda tells Lila that she will have to cut back her hours as her assistant due to her new modeling gig. 

7/29  AJ wakes up on Julia's couch where Brenda finds him. Brenda stalls Ned from going up to Julia's hotel suite, but then blurts out that Julia is with AJ. Garcia tells Jagger he has nothing new to report on Mike. Rhonda and Karen make dinner plans. Karen cancels dinner with Rhonda when she finds out Ray is going to accompany them. Gina shows up at Kelly’s and gives Jagger a postcard from Mike that she received. She fills Jagger in on what Mike looks like today. Julia confronts Brenda for telling Ned about AJ. Brenda has her photo shoot for Deception. Rhonda calls Karen out for her rudeness towards Ray. Karen gets dressed up for another night on the streets. Jagger tells Brenda that he believes Mike is still in PC. Karen runs into Stone again at the rave. 

7/30 Jagger fills Garcia in on what in learned about Mike. Karen and Stone hit the rave together. Jagger wants Felicia's help in finding his brother. Karen and Stone flee when the cops bust up the rave.  Stone follows Karen.
