Ned & Lois #1 December 15, 1993 - January 31, 1994: 4 hour original dvd

She takes him up on it and announces to the audience that Eddie Maine will be performing. He meets the challenge, sings "Seventh Son" with the band and blows Lois away with his performance. As he comes off the stage triumphantly, he grabs Lois and kisses her. As he leaves the bar, she goes after him and brings him back. She accuses him of hustling her, that he is really a professional singer. He tells her he is a professional salesman, selling Pharmaceuticals. She offers him a job as the lead singer and tells him he doesn't have to give up his day job. He turns her down.

12/16 Back in his hotel room, Ned answers the door to find Lois lounging seductively against the door frame. She launches into her persuasive sales pitch on why he should join the band. The idea of trying to combine singing and his "day job" doesn't sound plausible to him. She tells him he doesn't have to commit to forever, she just wants him to do another set that night. He agrees and sings "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted" (?). Lois is absolutely mesmerized. She goes back up to his room afterwards and tells him he was so awesome that she will remember him singing that night for the rest of her life! He thanks her but again says he can't join the band. She pushes him down on the bed and crawls over him to kiss him.

Next morning, Ned wakes up with a big smile on his face. He flashes back to the night before. Lois also wakes up with a glowing smile, he tenderly strokes her hair. he tells her that the last 24 hrs have been close to perfect. She again beeches him to join the band. He tells her he has responsibilities and the idea of chucking it all to join a band is outrageous. She gets him to first admit how much he loved performing, then gets him to agree to joining the band for 3 months. Ned is tempted by the thought, and finally agrees. When Ned tells her she can't reach him at home, she makes him swear on a bible that he isn't married. He gives her his cell # as he travels so much.

12/17 Back in PC, Ned calls Lois. She tells him they have their first gig planned. He tells her he regrets ever having to get out of bed with her. Ned & Edward are arguing when Lois calls him next. She says, "Eddie?" and he says "Who?" Then he realizes its Lois.

Next phone call, Ned is having dinner with Katherine. Lois calls to tell him they have a rehearsal scheduled for the next night.

12/28 She arrives at his hotel room and rushes into his arms, they kiss passionately. Then she tells him to take his pants off. He looks a bit shocked. She then tells him she has a present for him. He is not sure what to think about the tight black leather pants that she gives him. They fit perfectly, he models them for Lois without wearing a shirt. At first he feels awkward in them, then decides he likes them and starts singing acapella to Lois. She pushes him down on the bed again, he flips her over this time so he is on top, they make love.

Later, Ned tells Lois some whoppers about his family. He tells her his family didn't have much money but spent a lot of time with him. His grandfather was a jazz guitarist and took him fishing. His mother played piano and sang in the church choir. Lois amazes Ned with her math abilities when she does figures in her head. She comments on how happy he looks. They kiss and make love again.

12/29 The next morning, Ned decides to take the day off! They spend the day talking and making love.

12/31 At the New Year's Eve gig, "Eddie" sings "The Girl Won't Be Lonely Tonight". Ned tells Lois that he is loving every minute of performing. He gives her a New Year's kiss and goes back to perform "Seventh Son".

1/4/94 Edward confronts Ned about his lack of concentration with ELQ business. Ned tells him he is bored stiff sitting behind the desk all day and has to get out into the field. Lois calls him during this conversation and warns Ned not to be late for the gig that night. After the call, Ned promises Edward he won't leave till that day till all the ELQ business is caught up.

Brenda's in the bathtub has a fantasy sequence. First, Ned comes in (looking quite corporate) and she asks about her portfolio. She pulls him in with her suit and all. Next, she imagines Sonny entering (looking very mobster like with a trenchcoat, hat, and a gun) demanding the diamonds she was wearing, she takes them off but drops them as she is about to hand them so he is now in the tub with her clothes and all making out.

Edward and Ned at ELQ Edward doesn't think the suites with private workouts have made any difference in the success. He goes on about the plans on the toxic waste incinerator and who leaked it since it was discussed behind closed doors. Ned assured him that he would handle it. Edward said when he gets through this he has some more issues to deal with. Ned said he would do what he can but A.J left him stranded to take care of the hotel.

Ned is going to Buffalo that evening to be with Lois which Edward knows nothing about. Ned introduces Edward to Katherine since he hired her to build up the Toxic waste incinerator. Katherine thinks this needs to be handled very carefully since there are people on both sides. Edward thinks she can talk the talk. Damian and Ned talk about Katherine with Edward. Ned and Katherine talk at the restaurant after Edward leaves. Ned thinks Edwards is attracted to her and sent him home laughing. He then asks her out on a date.

1/5 Then Ned is late for the gig and Lois is ticked. She reams him till he comes out of the bathroom in the leather pants and takes her breath away. He tells her he is having the time of his life. After the gig, Lois tells him she wants him to take singing more seriously. She proposes to go with him on one of his sales trips. His resistance makes her suspicious that he is hiding another woman, but he very sweetly reassures her. The next am, he gets up early and head back to PC before she wakes up. He calls her from the Grille. She once again asks if he is hiding something from her. She warns him that she doesn't like deceit.

1/6 Ned comes in and waits at a table for his lunch with Katherine but as he waits he calls Lois wishing he was there with her and they discuss things for the band. She is working on getting the band an audition for a recording label. Ned and Katherine talk about their deal and how their going to target the elementary grade levels for the kids to get through to their parents. Ned loves her idea since it's a family value kind of thing.

1/7 Brenda wants in on Ned's plan to torture and humiliate AJ. Brenda wants Ned to shower her with attention and presents. She is going to pretend to be interested in Ned just to make AJ crazy.

1/11 Ned and Brenda get cozy at the Grill to make AJ take notice. Brenda tells Ned about her plan to get involved in the business end of Deception. The next time Lois calls, Brenda answers his phone. Brenda queries, "Lois? What's a Lois?" Just as Brenda is telling Lois that no one calls Ned by "Eddie", he grabs the phone out of her hand. Lois is furious with Ned, sure he is going out with Brenda. She doesn't want to meet up with him, "What? Do you think I have stupid stamped across my forehead?" she asks him.

1/12 Ned pleads with Lois to meet him at the hotel bar in Rochester. He is relieved when she shows up. He swears to her that Brenda is like a little sister, the very young daughter of a business associate. Lois believes him. They go up to his room and make love.

Lois talks Barney into giving the band an audition. Ned tells her he isn't interested in recording a demo tape but she talks him into it. At the audition, Ned starts to blow it but he just can't disappoint Lois. Barney offers the band a recording contract, and negotiates a deal with Lois.

Edward is suspicious over Ned's continuing absence from ELQ. Edward tells Ned that he is giving serous consideration to replacing him as CEO of ELQ. Ned assures him he does not have the votes to replace him. Edward questions Ned about "her". Ned realizes Brenda blabbed. Brenda later apologizes to Ned.

1/14 Ned lies to Brenda that he and Lois are only business. Ned wants the truth from Damian about why he was not upfront with him. Damian smoothes things over with Ned and convinces him that they can still be partners to push his proposals through. Great montage of N&L as Ned thinks of Lois to "You Made Me Love You". Then Ned flirts with Kat over lunch.

1/18 Ned agrees to put Damian's deception aside for the good of ELQ. Damian wants Ned to fire Katherine. Ned does not understand why Damian wants Katherine out. Damian convinces him that Lucy hates Katherine and they need Lucy to vote with them. Ned tells Katherine she will not be working with ELQ anymore.

1/20 Ned and Damian try and hustle Lucy for her vote at the meeting. Ned asks Katherine to dinner tomorrow night but then has to cancel when Lois calls.

1/21 At the board meeting, Katherine plays her trump card that she owns .5 percent of Damian's stock and she shoots down the proposals.

1/24 Damian tells Ned that if he does decide to cozy up to Katherine that he needs to keep their goal in mind.

1/31 Lois is ready for a massive publicity before the Idle Rich's record hits the store. Lois at recording session waiting for Ned, he arrives late. Lois is ticked, she is very concerned about his lack of commitment to the band. Session starts and Kat calls him on his cell phones and interrupts session. After the session, Ned and Lois stay behind in the studio and listen to the demo, they make out on the couch.

Ned and Lois in bed at Lois' eating spaghetti. Ned tells her she is the most insatiable woman and he "lives to serve" her "every wanton desire".
