Ned & Lois #2 January 31 - March 23, 1994: 4 hr dvd

1/31 Ned leaves Lois to go out to dinner with Kat. Ned has dinner with Katherine and she tells him that there is no way she is switching sides regarding Damian's proposals. Later, Lois calls the Port Charles Hotel about booking the Idle Rich.

2/1 Ned wants to offer Katherine a PR job at the hotel. She heads to PC to talk to Ned and AJ about booking (not knowing Ned & Eddie are one and the same). Lois arrives at the PC Hotel and meets AJ at the desk and begins charming him. Meanwhile, Ned is in the Grille offering Kat a PR job at ELQ. Ned sees AJ and Lois walk in and he dives under the table, then heads to the kitchen. Lois gives AJ a tape of the band.

She runs into Ned in the lobby and he is petrified. AJ agrees to book the band, Lois is thrilled. Ned is stunned when Lois tells him that she is trying to book the band into the hotel and he is dead set against it. He tells her that performing at the PC Hotel is a problem as PC is a big pharmaceutical town and he has a lot of clients there.

Ned leaves Lois to go out to dinner with Kat. Later, Lois calls the Port Charles Hotel about booking the Idle Rich. She heads to PC to talk to Ned and AJ about booking (not knowing Ned & Eddie are one and the same). She sees AJ and the front desk and begins charming him.

Meanwhile, Ned is in the Grille offering Kat a PR job at ELQ. Ned sees AJ and Lois walk in and he dives under the table, then heads to the kitchen. Lois gives AJ a tape of the band. She runs into Ned in the foyer, he is petrified. AJ agrees to book the band, Lois is thrilled. Ned is stunned when Lois tells him and he is dead set against it. He tells her that performing at the PC Hotel is a problem as PC is a big pharmaceutical town and he has a lot of clients there.

2/2 Ned and Brenda talk about making AJ jealous and Ned gives her quite a kiss in front of AJ. Ned tells AJ he opposes the idea of the rock and roll band. Ned gets Edward involved and he refuses to approved the booking much to Ned's relief.

2/8 Ned and Lois in the shower together when Mrs. Cerrillo shows up at Lois' with a tray of lasagna. Lois answers the door and tries to get her mom out of the apartment. Ned walks out in a towel and gets introduced to Mrs. C. She is less than thrilled to hear Lois is dating another musician. Ned excuses himself and Lois & her mom talk about Lois' life. Ned comes back out, dressed, and charms Mrs. C. He tells her about his family, more whoppers about how kind his mother is. Mrs. C quizes Ned about his life. He speaks Italian, kisses her hand, and she likes him. Lois tells her mom she's serious about Eddie.

2/10 Before the Q board meeting, Lucy fills the Qs in on Jenny and Paul getting married instead of Mac & Felicia. Ned looks stunned, even though he knew his ex-wife was re-marrying.

2/14 Ned tells Edward that $100,000 is missing from the hotel account and that AJ took it. AJ gives Ned and Edward the check from Alan to reimburse the $100,000 but refuses to give them any details on why he took it.

2/15 Ned and Lois at the photo shoot for the album cover. He resists having his face on the cover and suggest something artistic. So the photographer shoots his body parts, chest, but to a music montage of shots with "Hot Stuff". The photographer drools over Ned, and Lois shoes her out as soon as the shoot is over. Ned teases her about being jealous, and she admits to caring for him. When he tries to define their relationship, Lois gets very nervous. He tells her that he loves her and they go to bed.

2/16 Ned and Damian plan to charm Katherine and Lucy. Ned treats Katherine to dinner. Katherine wants to go away with Ned for the weekend but he turns her down saying that he is too busy.

2/17 Ned tells AJ he is not off the hook for the money he took from the hotel. One more screw up and AJ is history. Lois invites Ned to a family dinner, and he only hesitates for a moment. Lois calls her mom and tells her not only did he agree but Ned has said, "I love you."

2/22 When Ned shows up at Lois', she has a huge poster of her family tree and begins to tell Ned all about her family. She is wearing a light blue satin nightie and as she talks Ned begins to undress. As she talks, he gets nervous about meeting everyone. She kisses him and they fall back onto the bed as she assures him she can relax him.

2/23 They arrive at the Cerrilos'. Lois introduces Ned to all her family. When the talk turns to baseball, Ned admits to being a Yankee fan. Her family are HUGE Met fans! She's shocked and covers her face in horror at his revelation. Ned gets into a discussion with her brother comparing the two teams and shows he knows his stuff. Lois' cousin shows up and says Eddie looks exactly like Ned Ashton, a wall street power player. Ned plays dumb about it. Ned sings "Amore" to grandma and all around charms the whole family. Lois is thrilled that he fit in so well, she takes him to the kitchen and kisses him. He tells her the whole day has been wonderful. Mrs. C wants to know when they get to meet his family. He tells more whoppers about how much fun Tracy is, tells about her going to Woodstock.

2/25 Gloria wants to know when she will get to meet Ned's family. Ned makes up a story about his mother for Gloria and Lois's benefit. Lois has a dream about her life wiht a rich musician, and how successful the Idle Rick will be. Gloria thinks that Lois should accept Ned as a salesman and not try and change him.

Kat arrives at Ned's hotel room, he has the Idle Rich playing in the background. He asks Kat what she thinks about the band and she says she likes it. Ned is having a champagne lunch with Katherine. She flirts with him, they kiss.

3/1 The next day, Lois calls Ned to tell him the CD is out. When he arrives at her apartment, she shows him the CD cover. He is not happy that his lips and dimples are shown. He is worried that someone will recognize him. She states that if anyone recognizes him from that picture she wants to know "her" name. Ned tells her again his fear of his business associates finding out about his singing. She questions why she hasn't met any of his family or friends and thinks he's either married or ashamed of her. She is beginning to believe the reason he won't introduce her to anyone he knows is because he is embarrassed to bring home a loud mouth rocker from Brooklyn. He kisses her and assures her that he isn't ashamed of her, they go to bed. Later in bed, she again questions why she hasn't met anyone from his life.

3/2 Ned is at a PC record store looking for the Idle Rich CD to buy up all the copies. Later, Brenda goes into same store, looking for a new CD. She has all the latest hit CDs. The salesgirl tells her about a new hot CD that is almost sold out except for the last one in the display case. Brenda is curious and buys it. Ned is shocked when in walks into the Q's and finds her listening to it. He is curious what she things about it, she really likes them and drools over the lead singer. She shows him the hot guy on the cover. Ned asks what she thinks he would look like in leather pants, she giggles at the thought. He swipes her CD cover as he is afraid she will recognize him.

3/3 Lois enters the Outback and talks to Mac about booking the Idle Rich at the Outback. She tells him the CD sold out in 24 hours in PC so they are targeting PC for their tour. She gives Mac a copy of the CD, he plays it and he and Lois dance. He agrees to book the band.

3/4 Back at Lois' apartment, Ned brings her flowers and she tells him about the Outback booking. Of course he objects, it's his worst nightmare. He tries to talk her out of doing PC by trying to convince her that Port Charles is not a rock and roll type town. Barney calls and tells her that the CD sold out completely in PC. Lois is suspicious when Ned still resists the Outback gig, He tells her there is no way can he play there as PC is his base of operations for his day job. They argue over it, he flips out and says absolutely not. Lois thinks Ned is just nervous and figures if she pushes him to do it he will get over his fear.

3/7 Ned has a bad dream that he is performing at the Outback, he's wearing only a towel, all the Q's are there, and he is so bad they all throw food at him. He wakes up in a terror, Lois tells him it is just an anxiety dream and that he will be a big hit at the Outback. She refuses to cancel the gig, he insists, she refuses.

Ned goes back to the record store to buy out the recent shipment of CDs and runs into Brenda. He is wearing a baseball cap and looking much more like Eddie than corporate Ned, he is in disguise. He has a large bag full of all the Idle Rich CD's. Brenda grabs the bag to see what he is buying and is puzzled why he is buying so many of all the same CD. Brenda says there is something familiar about the lead singer. Brenda puts it all together that Ned is Eddie Maine and figures out that is where Lois comes into his life. She accuses him of stealing her CD cover, she insists he tell her the truth. She is in hysterics when he admits it, at the thought of Mr. Corporate America in black leather pants. He wants to know what it will take to keep her quiet. She wants a lobster lunch to start.

Ned and Brenda go to lunch at the Outback, and he tells her the tale of Eddie and the band. He tells her he can't back out and let down the band and Lois, and also that he is having a blast. Brenda plans on holding that fact that she knows who Eddie Maine is over Ned's head for a while.

Back at the Q's, she teases him unmercifully in front of his family. She tells about meeting Eddie Maine, then plays the CD for the Quartermaines. Edward doesn't care for it, and AJ isn't too excited either. Brenda clues the Qs in on the Idle Rich playing at The Outback soon. After they leave the room, Ned is ready to kill her. She is basking in the clout she has over Ned.

3/8 Katherine and Ned go to Edward about AJ not wanting her to be a consultant to the hotel. Edward tells them not to worry about AJ and hires Katherine. Edward thinks Ned should pursue Katherine.

3/9 At Lois', he again tries to talk her into canceling the PC gig. He is getting desperate. Lois thinks its a control issue for Ned and won't give him a choice. She points out that all he has to do is show up as they can’t keep CDs in stock in PC. Lois wants to know if Ned is in or out when it comes to the band. Ned agrees to play the PC gig.

3/11 Ned and Kat have lunch. Brenda interrupts and teases Ned in front of Kat. He squirms in discomfort, afraid Brenda will go too far but she doesn't let on about him being Eddie Maine. After Kat leaves, Brenda surmises that Kat doesn't have a clue about his singing. He says no, she doesn't know. Brenda asks Ned how he finds the energy to live a double life with both Lois and Katherine. He gets very testy with Brenda and tells her he is walking a fine line between Kat who is work and Lois who is pure joy. He tells her his personal life is none of her business. He will give her anything to end the blackmail. Brenda tells him that she won't tell as its too much fun watching him trying to balance it all, and that her price for silence is to watch him perform.

Lois has fantasies of telling Ned that she loves him. In the first one, he bolts for the door as soon as she says it. In the second, she imagines him telling her about another woman and she screams. In the third, its a great romantic moment complete with candlelight and Ned in a tux. He arrives for real, and a very nervous Lois says she has something very serious to tell him, she is scaring him. He is thrilled when she says, "I love you." They revel in their love for each other, feeding each other grapes. The next morning, she feeds him cold pasta for breakfast. Lois tells him that sometimes he makes her feel so good it hurts. But that him trying to keep her a secret makes her feel cheap and that hurts. Lois feels like he is keeping secrets. 3/16 Ned tells the unsuspecting Damian that his father broke out of prison.

She begs him to bring just one person that Lois can meet. He agrees to bring the woman he thinks of as his little sister.

Ned asks Brenda to go with him to the next Idle Rich gig in Rochester. He tells her Lois will be there. AJ is there and is puzzled why Ned is so interested in the same band he refused to book into the PC Grille. After AJ leaves, Brenda swears she won't reveal anything about his life as Ned Ashton to Lois. Ned warns her if she does anything to mess it up he will skin her alive. She promises to behave.

3/22 As Ned and Brenda drive down to Rochester gig, he very sweetly tells her about his feelings for Lois. He describes Lois as exotic, with unbelievable eyes that are hypnotizing. He goes on to say she has integrity and a pure spirit that shines. Brenda realizes that Ned is in love with Lois and is touched to hear genuine feelings for Lois. Brenda urges Ned to tell Lois the truth, Ned refuses. He says he will lose Lois when she finds out he has been lying. Ned wants to make sure Brenda has his story straight and does not blow his cover. Brenda wants to know why if Ned is so in love with Lois why he is spending time with Katherine.

They arrive in Rochester. Lois and Brenda meet for the first time. Brenda praises Lois for recognizing Eddie's talent and plucking him out of his boring mundane life. Brenda slips and calls him Ned, they cover by saying his grandfather is also Edward so they also call Eddie, Ned to avoid confusion. After Ned leaves to get ready to perform, Lois asks Brenda if there is another woman in her Eddie's life. Lois is a bit concerned as Brenda is so beautiful. Brenda assures her that there has never been anything romantic between her and Ned. Brenda also tells her that Ned loves Lois. She says he described Lois as exquisite and full of pure energy, has an incredible mind, funny, and that he has never had so much fun in his life. Lois is touched that he would say all this to an uninterested third party, and reassures her to Eddie's sincerity in his love for her. and tells her that she is involved with someone else right now. She tells Lois about the “dangerous” guy and Lois warns her to be careful.
