Ned & Lois #3 March 24 - April 27, 1994: 4 hour original dvd

3/24 Ned sings "You're The Only One I Love" directly to Lois, as she stands at the side of the stage watching him wistfully. After the show, Brenda lectures Ned that "you need to decide who you want to be when you grow up, Ned Eddie Ashton Maine." But Ned thinks he will be able to juggle his two lives, as CEO at ELQ and as Eddie Maine.

A bevy of female fans surround Ned, flirting with him as Brenda and Lois watch. Lois bravely says, "The day I feel threatened by a groupie, I hang it up and go back to Bensonhurst." Brenda senses that Lois is bothered, anyway, and so she interrupts the girls by saying how Eddie needs to get his shot, and they scurry away. Lois hugs her in gratitude.

After the gig, Ned and Lois are lying down together and talking. Lois is bringing up trust issues and Ned tries to change the subject by asking her to not think so much. Very romantic moment as Lois confesses she never before believed in the real thing but that now, she does. But she keeps fishing for more info about where her Eddie lives and it dawns on her that it must be Port Charles, because of how he's been balking over the upcoming gig at the Outback. So he admits to having a post office box there, and a room at the Port Charles Hotel which is rented by his employer.

3/25 Brenda & Ned talk and she can’t believe that he fell in love with someone so cool. Katherine wants to take Ned to a ski weekend. Brenda is teed when Ned accepts. Ned and Katherine leave for Canada.

3/28 Ned and Katherine on the ELQ jet to Canada. They both have ulterior motives for going away with each other. Katherine's dreaming of real romance with Ned, while Ned's heart belongs to Lois. He wants only to sweet talk Katherine into giving up her ELQ stock.

3/29 Lois and Brenda are spending much time on the phone talking, with Brenda trying to cover for "Eddie" as Lois is unable to reach him on his cell phone. Lois tells Brenda she knows that Ned lives in PC and does business there and asks her how risky it is for Ned to play The Outback.

Ned and Katherine make love on the ELQ jet. Meanwhile, Lois arrives at the Outback to finalize the Idle Rich's gig, both Miguel and Mac are totally charmed by her. Although she's currently got her eye on Sonny, Brenda is admiring Miguel at the club. Brenda invites Lois to be her date for Karen and Jagger's wedding, which is held at Kelly's Diner. The guests arrive for the wedding. Brenda introduces Lois to Jason at the diner, and Lois comments that she's so glad Eddie is poor. Singer Daniel Lavoie plays as the wedding begins.

3/30 Karen and Jagger get married. Stone toasts his brother & his new bride. Karen & Jagger ride off into the sunset. Lois accepts Brenda's invitation to stay at the Quartermaine mansion overnight. Katherine wants to know from Ned if their trip is business or pleasure.

3/31 Brenda introduces her new friend, Lois, to the entire Quartermaine clan. The whole family takes a shine to Lois, Edward is fascinated by her knack with numbers and offers her an ELQ job right there on the spot. Lois spots a photo of Tracy and while asking who she is, and commenting that she looks familiar (because she's Ned's mother). Brenda frantically snatches up a photo of Ned and hides it under a chair cushion. Alan of course ends up sitting on the chair and hears the glass break, he retrieves the photo and puts it back out on display.

After an evening in the jacuzzi with the Quartermaine brothers, Lois comes back into the house with Brenda and spies the photo of Ned. Brenda covers by saying how Eddie is like a brother to her, that's why she has a photo of him sitting out.

Meanwhile, Ned is romancing Katherine in Canada.

4/1 The next morning, Lois is anxious to head over to the Port Charles Hotel in search of her Eddie but Brenda dissuades her by reminding her AJ will be there and will be all over her. Brenda then heads over to the hotel and finds Ned at the Grill, blasts him for going away with Katherine because she doesn't want Lois to get hurt. She then delights in telling him that Lois was a houseguest of the Quartermaines overnight! Ned freaks until Brenda reassures him that his secrets are still safe. She tells him the Quartermaine's loved Lois.

Edward arrives, complaining of Ned's frequent disappearances of late. Lois calls during Edward's ranting, and is annoyed because Ned sounds so awkward on the phone. 4/5 When Ned walks into the living room later, he overhears Lila and Edward discussing Lois. They like her very much but both are criticizing her flashy appearance. As Lila and Edward then begin to argue over music, Lila announces she wants to go see Lois's band perform at the Outback and Ned chokes!

4/6 Later, Brenda admits she may have complicated the situation. She admits that she does love Lois. Brenda apologizes but urges Ned to just come clean with Lois before it's too late. She urges him to make a decision between the two ladies.

Lois is still looking for Eddie and checks into the Port Charles Hotel, even bumping into Katherine who notices her outrageous fingernails. Ned is juggling Katherine and Lois, and engages AJ to assist. Ned wants AJ to interrupt his dinner with Kat with an excuse of a hotel emergency, then Ned can get away to see Lois.

AJ, not realizing that Lois is the other woman Ned wants to see, heads to Lois's room and is greeted by Ms. Cerullo in a sexy red nightgown. She tells AJ again that she is a one-woman man and when her Eddie knocks on the door, she shoos AJ out the side door. Lois is thrilled to finally see her Eddie. Ned and Lois make love.

4/7-4/8 As they talk afterwards, it is obvious that Ned is still unenthusiastic about the Outback gig. Lois firmly tells him that he is at a major crossroads in his life and she is very worried that he's going to back out on the gig. He promises her he will do it.

The night of the Outback gig, time for the Idle Rich soundcheck. Mac and Miguel are both still drooling over Lois. Brenda arrives at the Outback on Sonny's arm and is amazed to discover that Lois and Sonny are old friends from growing up together back in Bensonhurst. Lila and Edward take their table, and Lila admires the photo of "Eddie Maine" which shows only his torso and leather pants and she tells Edward that she's fantasizing of buying a pair of leather pants for him!

Lois is fuming as it's obvious Eddie is not going to show, Miguel steps from behind the bar and offers to save the show since he is a singer. Lois is grateful to Miguel but extremely ticked at Ned. Miguel sings.

4/11 Miguel sings another song. Lois raves about his performance.

4/12 After the show, Lois gets a phone call from a doctor in the Rochester hospital emergency room telling her that Eddie Maine is there with a bad case of laryngitis. Lois races to Rochester and grills the doctor, who believes Ned is really sick. Lois growls at him that if he's playing her for a fool, she will kill him herself! She accuses him of faking (he is). Ned works his big beautiful puppy eyes on Lois and she calms down a bit, but she goes back to Buffalo alone.

4/14 Back in Port Charles, Brenda confronts Ned and accuses him of faking the illness and Ned admits that he didn't think Lois really bought the story either. Ned insists to Brenda that he does love Lois. She accuses him of “punking out”. He continues faking that he has lost his voice but eventually confesses to Brenda.

Later, Lois talks to Brenda about Eddie (cute girl talk). Lois wants to break up with him and Brenda talks her out of it. Ned shows up at Lois's apartment with an enormous bouquet of red roses, and she forgives him. She does warn him not to make her regret this. He promises and leans in to kiss her sweetly.

4/19 Back in PC, he calls Lois. Katherine interrupts by barging into his room so Ned quickly arranges a breakfast date. Lois and Brenda are back on the phone, Lois is on top of the world with love for her Eddie and Brenda pumps her for info about Sonny.

4/20 Ned gives Lois a special charm bracelet from Coney Island, and they make love. Afterwards while laying in bed they discuss many things, Lois informs him that she's booked an Idle Rich gig at a resort in Pennsylvania, and that her parents are coming along.

4/25 Lois treasures her bracelet and observes that she hasn’t bought Ned any presents. She did give him the leather pants but she gets more enjoyment out of them than he does! Very romantic moment as Ned tells Lois how she has given him everything, "most importantly, love" but then he bristles when she offers to move to Port Charles and discourages her. Lois wants badly to understand why her Eddie insists on keeping his professional life separate from his life with her, and she is hurt.

4/26 Lois stops by the Outback to pick up the check from Mac for the concert. She immediately gives it to Miguel to thank him for stepping in and tells him that he is worth every penny. She promises him that there is more where that came from and she would love to schedule him for more gigs. Mac steps up and says he would book him anytime. Lois sits him down and wants the story. She doesn’t believe that she has come across yet another reluctant rock star. She wants to know what his story is.

He is resistant but she tells him she can deal with complicated. She realizes he got burned somewhere along the way and he agrees. She guesses that he was in a band before. He tells her it was in Puerto Rico. He tells her about walking out and he gave up his singing for good. He asks her to respect what he has told her. She begs to help him. He tells her that she is a remarkable woman but even she can’t help him. She promises that if he will trust her, that she can give him back the opportunity to perform.

4/27 Katherine tells Ned that her woman's intuition is screaming there's another woman in his life, but she acknowledges exclusivity wasn't a part of their deal. finds a package of fingernail decals and questions why Ned has these in his room, but he says they're for Brenda. After Ned leaves his office, she searches his desk and finds a make up bag with polish, lipstick, ect.

Lois and Mrs. Cerullo go shopping. Mrs. C coaxes Lois into purchasing a sweet, white lace dress because she says it may enchant Eddie into proposing marriage.
