Ned &Lois #19 March 13 - April 23, 1996: 4 hour dvd3/13/96 Ned suggests that all the Qs give Jason 1% of their ELQ stock. Later, Ned admits to Lois he has an agenda when it comes to the stock transfer. Brenda is worried that Jax is giving up on Lois and is ready to leave town.3/14/96 Lois fears that Brenda is just hanging with Jax to make a point to Sonny. Brenda wants Lois to show some interest in Jax so that he will stay in town. Lois convinces Ned to join Brenda and Jax for dinner. Lily and Sonny show up at the Outback for dinner as do Jax and Brenda. Brenda plants on kiss on Jax for Sonny’s benefit. 3/20/96 Edward wants Ned to get rid of Deception. Lois wants to set up a benefit for Ward House after it is lost in a fire. Ned tells Lucy that ELQ will be getting rid of Deception. Brenda tells Lois about her plan. 3/21/96 Lois has some harsh words for Ned when he tears down AJ. Again Ned reminds AJ that he owns him. AJ questions what if Lois found out the truth. Ned calls his bluff. 3/22/96 Katherine and Ned are the lone mourners at Damian’s funeral. 3/25/96 Ned dwells on Damian’s pathetic funeral. Lois wants Ned to give AJ a break. Jason is angry that Ned lied and confronts him. Lois overhears Ned and AJ arguing about the accident. 3/26/96 Ned and Lois argue about his accident cover-up. Ned wants her assurance that she is with him. Lois tells the Qs that AJ was driving the night Jason got hurt. Ned is angry that Lois went behind his back. Ned tells Lois that the Cerullo rules do not play in the Q house. Lois leaves the gatehouse. 3/27/96 A hung-over AJ does not remember telling Jason the truth and learns that all the Qs know. Lois shows up at Brenda’s room at Kelly’s. Lois can’t tell Brenda the whole truth though, as it is a secret that has to stay within the Q family. Brenda arrives at the gatehouse asks Ned what happened between him and Lois. She wants them to meet and talk things out. Ned doesn’t think Brenda is taking this seriously. He warns her that this isn’t about who is taking the garbage out. Ned tells Brenda that Lois doesn’t understand the Quartermaine family code of protecting the family at all costs. Brenda tells him that Lois was too upset to come over and talk to him, and he lied to her one time too many. A confused Emily arrives at the gatehouse. Ned tries to explain things to her. Back at her room at Kelly’s, Brenda reports back to Lois that Ned wants to discuss the issues in their relationship. Lois isn’t making the first move as she isn’t running back to him, he owes HER the apology. 3/28/96 Brenda pushes Lois again to talk with Ned. 3/29/96 Ned thinks that his Eddie Maine performance at the Ward House Benefit is just the thing to win Lois back. Lois tells Brenda that she has booked the band “All For One” for the benefit instead of the Idle Rich. “All For One” play the benefit. Despite Lois kicking him off the bill, Ned sings anyways. 4/1/96 Lily saves Brenda from being run over by a car in the Luke’s parking lot. Brenda is knocked unconscious. Both Brenda and Lily are taken to GH. Ned waits with Lois for news on Brenda. Lois watches in horror from the hallway as Brenda goes into cardiac arrest. She is revived. 4/2/96 Alan tells Lois and Ned that Brenda is holding her own. They get into it again about Ned’s lies. Lois tells Jax that her marriage is on the rocks. Lois suspects that Jax is starting to have feelings for Brenda. 4/4/96 Ned’s mind can’t concentrate on business; Edward pushes him to talk with Lois. When Lois visits Brenda, she wants to know what progress she and Ned have made. Ned and Lois go another round. Last scene is a music montage that ends as Lois stares into the Q living room watching Ned & Edward through the terrace doors. 4/5/96 Lois has a chat with Lila. 4/9/96 Ned finds his ex-wife Jenny in labor. Lois gets the wrong idea when she gets word that Ned is at GH in emergency. Lois arrives to find Ned with Jenny. They both coach Jenny through her labor and she gives birth to a baby boy. 4/12/96 Lois meets a very young Carly at Kelly’s, she has just arrived in town. Carly chats with Lois about planning to stay in PC and getting into nursing. Lois tells her about Monica looking for Wellness Center at GH. A jet setting Brenda returns to Kelly’s with Jax on her arm and the limo driver bearing armloads of her packages. Brenda dishes to Lois about her trip to Malibu with Jax. Ned arrives a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses and surprisingly puts them in Brenda’s arms. Brenda makes an excuse to go up to her room leaving them alone. Ned sits down and tells Lois how much he loves her. He tells her that they have to be in the same room in order to work things out between them. She says she can’t get into this right now. He tells her that if she never calls him “Nedly” again that he doesn’t know what he will do. He misses her, she is his best friend. Lois tells Brenda that she may be pregnant. 4/15/96 Ned thinks of Lois to a music montage of their scenes together to an Idle Rich song “Love in your eyes”? Edward complains about Ned neglecting ELQ. They talk about Lois. Brenda and Lois talk about her possible pregnancy. Lois is still very torn. Ned finds out about Lois’s pregnancy from Amy. Ned asks Lois about the baby. He is so excited and sure this will make the difference in them getting back together. 4/16/96 Lois and Ned discuss the future. Lois tells him she doesn’t want to raise a child with Q values. Ned apologizes and complains about Lois putting him between a rock and a hard place. Lois tells him that she needs time away. A somber Ned stares off into the fog on the docks while he remembers his wedding day to Lois. A desperate Ned heads to Brooklyn to see advice from Lois’ mom. Gloria is not thrilled to see Ned. They are both surprised that Lois has still not informed her mother of her pregnancy. 4/18/96 Ned arrives back at Lois’s parent house wanting to speak with her. Ned and Carmine have a talk about compromise. Lois and Gloria talk about the baby. Ned agrees to give Lois some space but he is not giving up on them. 4/23/96 Ned is thrilled to return home and find Lois back at the gatehouse. Lois invites him to her doctor’s appointment. They hear the baby’s heartbeat for the first time. Ned and Lois have a doctor’s appointment at GH. With Lois back home, Ned comes out carrying his bags and offers to move to the main house, but she asks him to stay with her in the gatehouse. |
