I had already edited the whole kidnapping storyline on the Just Jason series and I included all of Carly, all of Jason, Tony being nuts, all of Robin's scenes figuring out/confronting Tony/being kidnapped/rescued/taken to GH. I highly recommend the Just Jason series even if you aren't a Carly fan as there is so much good stuff on it for Jason's storyline and you get the complete kidnapping storyline. However, since I had some space left on the end of this Robin & Jason #6 I decided to just include Robin's scenes as she was kidnapped, held hostage, rescued so you do get to see her scenes, and the scenes with her and Jason. I just didn't want to edit the whole storyline twice, this way if you're really only interested in the R&J scenes together you will get those on the R&J #6, plus Robin's storyline. If you also want to see all of Jason's storyline then I recommend the Just Jason edits, he does great work again around the baby's kidnapping. If you hate Carly, you can always forward through her scenes <grin>.

Robin & Jason #6  July 28, 1997 - March 31, 1998 - 8 hr original edit

Robin has it out with Jason when she catches him trying to leave his hospital room before he is released. She points out how he always seems more than willing to put his life on the line and accuses him of having a death wish. She tells him about all the people that she has loved who have died. She wants him to quit working for Sonny and do something else. Mac interrupts them with the news that the FBI is trying to track Sonny. When Sonny and Brenda call to check on her, Robin tearfully begs Sonny to release Jason from his life of crime. Though Sonny explains why he can't just cut Jason loose from something as complex as the organization, Robin insists she will not be able to stand losing another love the way she lost Stone. Sonny phones Jason, who warns his boss that Jax is on his trail. When Jason asks for his next set of instructions, Sonny informs the startled young man that he no longer has a job. Robin confides to Katherine how she's hoping the guy she loves will follow the straight and narrow path from now on. Hurt and confused, Jason demands to know why he's being let go. Though Sonny claims that worrying about his underling has become a distraction, Jason finally guesses that it was Robin who forced his hand. A seething Jason confronts Robin, who tries to explain why she asked Sonny to let him go. Choking back tears, Jason berates Robin for depriving him of the one person who's been both brother and father to him since his "second birth". Brenda and Sonny head towards the rendezvous point and come face to face with the Tin Man. After Jason vows to make Sonny take him back into the organization, Robin warns her boyfriend that she won't stay with him if he returns to his old life. A weeping Jason admits to Robin how frightened he is of losing her. Robin and Karen finally get a chance to sit down together and catch up on everything that's happened in their lives since last they met.

Robin tells Jason she's been accepted into a prestigious program at the Sorbonne in Paris. As Displaying a model of the Eiffel Tower, Robin explains to Jason that he brought the souvenir back for her when his former self visited Paris a few years ago. Jason and Robin exchange a sorrowful kiss of farewell. Later, Mike enters Jason's room. It's obvious something is very wrong as Jason is so upset. Jason shocks Mike by telling him that Sonny fired him and Robin is leaving.

Mac is startled when Robin reveals that she's leaving that very night for a year in Paris. Robin tearfully admits to her uncle that she doesn't want to leave Jason. Jason decides to slip away from the hospital. Making her farewells around town, Robin goes to the Quartermaine mansion and explains to Alan and Monica why she's not going to see their son anymore. After saying her goodbyes, Robin heads to the bridge for a last look around. When Jason appears, Robin clings to him and tearfully confides that she never wants to leave his side. Robin thanks Jason for giving her the strength to get on with her life. Final scenes are a montage of Robin & Jason moments set to the "Montauk" music, "Dance With Life A Brilliant Light" by Bryan Ferry.

Jason, at the penthouse, orders his bodyguard to take the night off. ....Meanwhile, in France....A mature looking Robin enters her room and sits down to write in her diary. In it, she expresses a wish to be back in PC, then imagines reuniting with Jason, on the bridge. He tells her he knew she was lying when she encouraged him to get on with his life and not wait around for her return. They hop on his motorbike.... After writing another passage, Robin's imagination flew away to Mac. She visited him as he was shutting down the Outback, and expressed doubts - that Paris wasn't all it's cracked up to be. Mac told her she should come home if that's what she wants, and that she shouldn't stay in gay Paree just to please him. What he wasn't hot about was the idea of Robin getting back with Jason, and questioned Jason's worthiness. The man in question materialized and Mac grilled him, but eventually gave in and told Robin he'd accept Jason if he had to.... Robin then leads Jason to the Qs for Thanksgiving. They argued like an old married couple for a minute, then were greeted by Lila and Emily. The fantasy was off to a great start, but then Edward blustered in and Robin, imagined a Q family arguement almost perfectly fireworks included.... Eventually, she imagined them back on the bridge, where Jason told he he quit and was now out of the organization. She vowed to never leave him again....Closing music montage: Stefan lurked outside Serenity; Jax and Brenda returned from the grocery store and did some food-prep; Jason turned the lights out and went out to his balcony, and Robin made coffee and went to look out her own window.

Jason is being questioned at the police department (Nikolas has just been shot outside of Luke's club, not shown on this tape but complete sequence is on the Jason & Carly tapes). Jason gets a call from Morena and asks if the news of Luke's party has reached Paris - an implied threat against Robin. Jason is released and immediately heads to Paris to check on Robin. Upon arrival in Paris, Jason has his people tighten the web of security around Robin but takes pains to prevent her from seeing him. While trying to walk away being unseen by Robin as she leaves her favorite bistro, she spots him and they kiss and hug. When Robin calls out his name, Jason forgets his resolve to remain in the shadows and runs forward to embrace her. Robin asks Jason why he is there and he explains that he has taken Sonny's place in the organization and tells her about the drive-by shooting at Luke's. Robin tells him they need to just enjoy the time they have together and not discuss a situation they can't change. Robin convinces Jason to change his travel plans and stay in Paris an extra day. After giving him the grand tour of the city, Robin confides to Jason how sharing Paris with him has been a dream come true. Jason admits to Robin how much he misses Sonny. Robin and Jason admit they still have feelings for each other. Robin then begins to talk to Jason about his new status in the organization. She expresses her concerns and they argue about Jason's safety. Dismayed to hear that both Joseph and Pete have been killed in recent attacks, Robin bitterly reminds Jason that Sonny left him nothing but a legacy of certain death. Though a weeping Robin begs him to stay with her and leave the organization, Jason boards the next flight back to Port Charles. On the plane coming home, Jason remembers explaining to Robin how he can't leave the organization. Robin tells him he can, he just won't. Robin then tells Jason how much she loves him. Back in her apartment in Paris, Robin writes a letter to Jason in her journal. She writes, "Dear Jason, good-bye" and cries.

Brenda has a breakdown at her photo shoot. Jax arrived in Paris and told Robin that Brenda needed her (this is after Brenda has been released from the hospital). After surprising Robin in Paris, Jax convinces her to fly to Port Charles with him to help Brenda deal who has just suffered a nervous breakdown. During the flight home, Jax questions Robin about her affection for a dangerous criminal like Jason. Music montage of scenes: Luke looking in at Carly's empty hospital room, while Carly is shown on an airplane, Jason tenatively stroking baby Michael's hand, Robin showing up at Brenda's door. Robin explains to Brenda why Jax flew her in from Paris. Although happy to see her old friend, Brenda admits that she feels like everybody who comes by is actually checking up on her. Robin assures an edgy Brenda that she has no intention of seeing Jason during her stay in Port Charles. Robin calls fake Mac (Jimmy the Mac look-alike is impersonating him), he doesn't know who she is! But he covers the slip up. Concerned to discover how Brenda has obliterated her own face from her photos, Robin is stunned when her friend suddenly accuses her of working for Sonny. Brenda overheard Robin talking to uncle Mac and assumed Robin was reporting in to Sonny. Brenda warns Robin that she's had some bad news about Jason. After dropping the bombshell about Carly and her baby, Brenda embellishes on the tale by telling Robin that Jason also came on to her. Brenda in her wacked mental state is downright cruel to Robin.Ned is pleasantly surprised to find Robin at Brenda's new place. When Brenda comes downstairs, Ned gives her the bad news that her business manager did run away with all of her assets and hasn't been seen since. He assures her that he's got men looking for the guy but then reveals that Star TV is suing her because of the attack during the photo session. Both Ned and Robin are surprised when Brenda seems overjoyed by the news and even wants to celebrate. Robin calls Jax about her reaction and he agrees to rush over. Catching her on the phone, Brenda kicks Ned out and accuses Robin of calling Sonny. Robin reveals that Brenda told her that he had slept with Carly.

Robin goes to the penthouse to see Jason and is surprised when he comes home with Carly's baby in his arms. Robin asks to see the baby. Jason lets her hold him and she asks his name. Robin is amazed by baby boy Morgan and asks Jason how he wound up with him. Jason tells Robin that Carly asked him to take care of the baby. The nanny comes down and takes the baby. He tells Robin that Carly will be using the guestroom when she comes back. Robin asks when she'll be back but he's not sure, only that she needed to get away. Robin is shocked that she would leave her baby & Jason tells her the story of what happened with Carly. He says he probably should have written and told her. Robin thinks he's helping her steal the baby from Tony and Jason stuns her with the revelation that Tony is not the father, AJ is. Robin's taking her pills and Jason questions how she's feeling. She says the hard thing is telling people even though she vowed to be honest. Robin informs him that Brenda told her about the baby and she wanted to hurt Robin with the information that Jason had slept with Carly. Jason says Brenda kissed him and Robin says Brenda told her he came on to her. She wants Jason to explain how AJ wound up the father. Jason says they had sex, very simple. That part she got but wants to know the story behind it and so he tells her. Jason lets her know he is going to let AJ think he is the father and she tells him he can't do that. Robin thinks AJ has a right to know but Jason doesn't think that anyone owns the baby. He says that if AJ knew he would take the baby away from Carly. Robin believes AJ has a right to raising his son. There's a knock on the door and it's Jax. He tells them Brenda's gone and wants to know if Sonny took her. Jason tells Jax that it is not Sonny, he doesn't want Brenda with him. Jax orders him to find out if someone kidnapped her. Jax tells Robin that Brenda is not stable and they both know it. He thinks she's going to have to be re-admitted to the hospital. Jason makes a call and finds out that Brenda is at St. Joseph's Cemetery and Robin informs Jax that is where Lily is buried. Jax leaves. Robin tells Jason she's scared for Brenda and reaches out to him. Robin thanks Jason for not hitting Jax and Jason tells her he is getting real tired of him. He wants to know when she's going back and she's not sure. Robin says she doesn't know if she should keep running from what she can't have or stay and face it. She tells Jason he's not like Sonny but she's the only one who sees it. Jason has a car bring Robin back to Brenda's. She asks him to promise considering telling AJ but Jason can't break his promise to Carly. Robin's torn on holding the secret. She is glad though that she came.

A guilt- ridden Brenda apologizes to Robin for deliberately hurting her. Admitting to Brenda that she went to Paris for all the wrong reasons, Robin accepts her friend's invitation to move in with her. Robin is surprised when her "uncle" expresses relief at her plan to move in with a friend instead of coming home to him.

Robin runs into AJ, she is still struggling with whether or not to reveal the truth, Robin made it appear to AJ that she had known all along about Carly's relationship with Jason. After hearing AJ and Tony vent their anger over Jason, Robin told them that they knew nothing about the kind of person Jason really was. Jason takes the baby to the park for his first outing and quickly bumps into Robin, who reveals that she's decided to stay in Port Charles. Robin cautions Jason to understand that she doesn't intend to simply pick up where she left off when she departed for Paris. Watching Jason beginning to bond with Carly's baby, Robin reminds him that the infant really needs to be under the care of his real father. Across town, Jason reminds Robin that he's only going to stay at the Quartermaines' long enough for Lila to admire her new great-grandson (Robin has talked him into taking the baby to see the Q's).

Meanwhile, Robin is off to see Mac (who James is currently impersonating). Fake Mac flounders in a sea of weak excuses when Robin wonders why her uncle never came to visit her in Paris over the holidays. Tess feeds Jimmy info about the real Mac (who they have held hostage in a cabin). Real Mac gives them false information about his relationships with people in PC and its obvious Fake Mac is acting very strange.

Robin has sent Jason a chocolate cake to commemorate his second birthday (the anniversary of the day he woke up from the coma after the accident). Jason lights the candles, and he and Emily wish each other a happy birthday. She makes a wish and blows out the candles.

After being urged by Robin to resume modeling, Brenda told Robin that she was determined to prove to the world that she was a great model. After seeing Felicia getting cozy with James/Mac, Robin wondered if their romance was on again. Felicia admitted that she liked Mac's new approach, but still was not entirely comfortable with it. Robin volunteers to help Brenda put together a new portfolio in hopes that it will jump start her friend's modeling career. Robin and Brenda head to New York City to look for an agent.

Back in PC, Mike accidentally lets it slip to Robin that Jason is about to have Carly's baby baptized. Robin tries to keep Brenda calm as they wait for word on Jax's missing plane. An exuberant Brenda flings herself into Jax's arms when he finally walks through her door.

As the baptism ceremony begins, Jason is pleased to see Robin slipping into one of the pews at the back of the church. When the Quartermaines suddenly arrive en masse, however, a scowling Jason motions his armed bodyguards forward and Justus warns his family that they'll go to jail if they attempt to touch the baby. Promising to keep the rest of the family silent and in line, Lila sweetly asks permission to stay for the ceremony and Jason reluctantly gives his consent. The chaotic christening is interrupted yet again when Marino and several of his goons stroll into the church. After ascertaining that his "competitor" has simply come to pay his respects, Jason asks the priest to continue with the ritual. Later, Mike is touched but the Quartermaines are outraged when Jason proudly announces that he's decided to name the baby after his best friend, "Michael" (after Sonny). As little Michael is finally baptized, Jason turns around to present the baby to the assemblage and discovers that Carly is standing in the doorway. The baptism concludes and all adjourn to the penthouse for a party. Robin has an unsettling encounter with Anthony Marino, who reminds her that they met years ago when he was doing business with her late stepfather. Jason steps in and warns Marino to stay away from Robin. As she leaves, Robin tells Jason that giving the baby the name "Michael" is the perfect choice.

After hearing about her friend's encounter with Marino, Brenda warns Robin that it doesn't sound like she's really let go of Jason at all. Although Robin insists that she and Jason are through, Brenda remains convinced that her old pal is getting sucked down into a vicious circle which will ultimately destroy her.

A big snow storm has stranded many PCers at the Port Charles hotel. Deciding to string James along in order to find out what's happened to the real Mac, Felicia accepts best wishes on her engagement from a slightly bewildered Robin who is stunned to hear their public announcement. Carly also drops her bombshell about being Bobbie's daughter. Jason takes Robin home and they talk about Carly's revelation. Robin again encourages Jason to let A.J. know the truth about Michael's paternity. She points out that what is going on between Carly and Bobbie is a preview of what it will be like for Michael and AJ in 20 years. Jason doesn't want AJ to know that he is Michael's father. He agrees with Carly that keeping Michael away from the clutches of the Quartermaine's in best for the baby. Robin questions whether he isn't doing this for his own reasons, not wanting to lose the baby. Jason tells Robin how much he loves Michael.

Brenda confides to Robin that she's accepted a job making some kind of personal appearance but is vauge about what it is. Robin has found a flyer about an auto show event and figures that is Brenda's job, she shows up to find Brenda in a genie outfit.

Robin shows up at Ruby’s and sits down with Felicia who is waiting for Mac to return from his meeting with Tess. They discuss Valentine’s Day watching a couple celebrate together. Felicia brings up the subject of Jason, and Robin changes the subject to Mac and Felicia’s engagement. Riddled with guilt about lying to Robin, Felicia nearly blurts out the truth about her fake engagement to Mac/Jimmy but decides to keep mum a while longer. Felicia doesn’t give it away that she and Mac aren’t truly engaged and changes the subject back to Jason. Robin admits that it is hard not to think about Jason because she still cares for him so much. Robin goes to the bridge and looks out onto the water. She takes out a Valentine and throws it into the water. She begins to remember back to a time when she and Jason met at the bridge. Suddenly she hears something behind her and turns around. She sees Jason. Robin asks him why he is there and he tells her it is because he was thinking of her. He asks her what she threw into the water and Robin tells him it was a wish she wrote down on paper. Jason tells her he hopes her wish comes true and Robin tells him it won’t because nothing will change. Robin then tells him how much she misses him and kisses him.

Felicia spent the day training Mac to improve his imitation of James doing his imitation of Mac. This included: having more suave manners, buying an engagement ring, whistling surf tunes, with a little more feeling, please, and how he hugged her. At this, things started to get a little flirty; Robin came by though, and Mac dropped everything to catch up with her. When his niece went upstairs, Felicia informed Mac that Jimmy blew Robin off at every turn, and Mac should do the same, or risk putting her in danger. When Robin came back downstairs, he followed those instructions and Robin left, bummed at the attitude switch.

Robin entered Kelly's, Emily introduced her to Sarah Webber. After Sarah left, Emily told Robin about Nik's situation and asked for advice and help (he is having trouble speaking after being shot in the throat). Ms. Scorpio suggested turning him on to speaking in French (which he is fluent in), that maybe he'd feel less pressure, and have an easier time of it.

Robin and Jason had a tender run-in at Kelly's. As Robin prepares to leave Jason walks in and she asks him to sit down for a minute. She tells him the other night wasn't fair to either of them and it won't happen again. Robin tells him she shouldn't have kissed him but he didn't stop her he says. She knows she could have him back but they can't and she doesn't want to do this to him. He resolved to stay away from the bridge, and they reaffirmed that their lives are going in different directions. He understands and she tells him she must leave now and get some books for Emily.

When Emily told Robin that her family wouldn't let her go to Spoon Island any longer to tutor Nikolas, Robin offered to visit him and see if she could help. Robin goes to Windemere and Katherine is glad to see her. Stephan, however, attempts to send her off. Robin gives as good as she gets and goes outside to wait for Nikolas (remember that Robin's father, Robert, was Luke's co-hort in bringing down Stefan's father - Mikos and sending his uncle to prison). Robin meets Nik and tells him that Emily isn't allowed to come any more. She hands him the French books, and he asks her to stay.

At the Port Charles grille, Robin enters the room to have dinner with Keesha. Keesha treats Robin to her Anti-Carly tirade, which culminates in her declaring that Carly is using her baby to get a free ride from Jason. Robin mulls this over as Jason enters the room with Michael. He is having dinner with Carly. At their table, Keesha elaborates on her earlier statement, saying Carly used the baby to manipulate AJ, then Tony, and now Jason. Robin says that she thinks Jason knows what he's doing and can take of himself. Meanwhile, Carly tells Jason about her day of shopping and the luxury of having a facial. She notices Jason looking at Robin and tells him to go over and say 'hello' to her. Jason says that she'll come over and talk to him, if she wants to.......And as Jason predicts, Robin does. They have a brief, awkward conversation about the the baby and Robin retreats to her table. Keesha observes that Robin is still hung up on Jason and vice versa. Robin admits to kissing him the other day, but asserts that they can't resume their relationship, since nothing's changed. Keesha agrees that Robin's doing the right thing.Robin and Keesha's conversation segues into AJ, whom Keesha admits she's still crazy about. She tells Robin about their romantic evening at Kelly's, and their new-found relationship. She then reiterates how badly Carly treated AJ, insinuating her way into his life, and how she's doing the same to Jason. And, as Robin gazes over at Jason and Carly sharing a 'family' moment with Michael, Keesha exclaims: "scratch the surface of that family picture and all you'll see are lies..." Robin looks convinced and heads over to Jason's table again. But just as she's about to speak, she notices Michael looking over at her, and Jason says: "He knows who you are, now". This distracts her from her original task, but she does manage to plant one seed when she says that it's a good thing Carly's back so the baby can bond with *both* parents. After all, babies grow up so fast, it'd be a shame for a parent to miss one second of their development. When Robin leaves, Carly asks Jason if she knows about AJ being the father. Jason tells her that she does.

Nik is frustrated by his lack of progress in speech therapy and has a few choice words to utter in French. Robin tells him that maybe they need a break, but Nik wants her to stay. Nik reads from a book praising a woman's beauty and almost seems to be describing Robin. He gazes at her in a most *unscholarly*manner. Nik gets frustrated again. Robin encourages him. His disability can be treated--others have been injured and no amount of treatment can help them, but they still manage to go on with their lives.

A frenetic Brenda is making plans. Robin asks what's up. Brenda has a Big Surprise for Jax. Robin, sensibly, asks how she's affording it. Brenda is going to max out her credit cards and pawn her jewelry. She is about to go shopping and she opens the door to Jax! However, he has come to see Robin. Brenda bubbles off shopping. Jax wonders how Robin is doing with the revelations about Carly and Michael. He will send her back to Paris if she wants. She doesn't. Brenda, back home, tells Robin she bumped into Jason -- with Carly. She apologizes about the way she treated Robin "when I had my nervous breakdown." She refuses to see that Robin is not in the same fragile state.

Robin greets Jax at the door of the home she shares with Brenda, and settles him in to wait for the surprise Brenda has planned; she has even retrieved his laptop and has it ready to go, in case he want to work while he's waiting for Brenda to send a limo to pick him up, rather than snack on the prosciutto and melon and sip sparkling water Brenda has provided. Jax is uncomfortable, and confides to Robin, only half-joking, that his darkest secret is, "I only like surprises when I'm giving them." He's also concerned about how Brenda is paying for all this.

Robin shows up at the penthouse while Jason is at a meeting. Carly is fighting for the family she feels she has built with Jason, as Robin announces that she plans to tell AJ that he is Michael's biological father. The gloves come off with that statement, and Carly's Spencer genes kick in, resulting in a marvelous cat fight. Robin says that she'll come back when Jason is home, to discuss the matter with both Carly and Jason together. Carly grows angrier when Robin says that Jason is not Michael's father. "Michael is Jason's name in every way that matters." Robins claims that is why she is insisting on getting involved-- she knows how much Jason loves Michael, and how devastated he will be when Carly inevitably takes Michael away, when she tires of life with Jason or gets a better offer. Carly counters that she would never take Michael away. "you're such a liar," spits Robin. Carly explodes. "The voice of heaven has spoken," she begins, dripping sarcasm. "Sweet Robin Scorpio. It's ironic-- my son was christened at a church you think was named for you. And now you show up here and you're going to tell me and Jason how to raise our kid? I don't care what you say or what you do, Jason, Michael, and I are a family, and there is no way I'm gonna let you break us up." Robin still insists that She will inform AJ that he is Michael's father. Carly tells her that for all intents and purposes, Jason is the baby's father. What happens to Jason when Carly takes off again, this time with the baby in tow? Carly lets her know that she has *no* intention of going anywhere. Although no punches are thrown, both contestants manage to land a few low-blows. Robin hurls, Carly might once have been Jason's sex-partner, but that doesn't mean Jason will ever touch her again! Carly zings back that Robin treats Jason like a little boy and can't seem to understand that he's a man, with a full-grown man's needs! Robin retorts that Carly is just a manipulator who is taking advantage of Jason's affection for her son! Carly comes back that Robin acts like Jason is so damaged that he can't make his own decisions! Carly gloats, Or is little Robin just jealous that Carly and Jason had sex, since that was something she wasn't capable of giving Jason herself? HMMM? Robin realizes that she never should have tried talking to Carly. This is between her and Jason, and she will take it up with him.

Robin and Nikolas go to Café Matisse and she thinks it's about time he start speaking with every day people. Robin has him order, out loud, for the both of them. He does so in French. After doing a good job of speaking, he asks Robin to tell him something about herself no one else knows. Robin really doesn't know what to say. She's lived in PC all her life so people know mostly everything about her. There is one thing though, she can shoot. Her parents taught her so she'd be able to protect herself. Robin tells Nikolas her family has a long and complicated history. She remembers hearing his family's name around her house but was told to be careful of them. He has been given the same advice he says. But he informs her they are two separate people. Robin and Nikolas have left the Café and are now down at the dock. He thanks her for seeing him off and asks if she'd like to come with him. She doesn't think they should push things, they did a lot today. Sarah appears on the dock and calls out his name. She is so happy to hear his voice, she thought she'd never hear it again. She asks him to say something else but he doesn't and Robin tells her he can't. He walks away and Sarah says she just heard him talk and Robin tells her they've been working on it all day. Sarah thought Emily was working with him (that's a lie because she was the one who arranged that Emily not be allowed to go to Spoon Island) and Robin says she was but is not allowed anymore. Robin tries to explain the situation to her and asks her to be patient with him. He'll be talking with her soon. Sarah tries again to speak to Nikolas but he won't look at her so she says goodbye and hurries off. He thanks Robin. Nikolas tells Robin he hurt her but Robin believes things will go back to normal for him and Sarah. She still cares for him and who could blame her. Sarah watches the two and then leaves, still upset.

At Mac & Felicia's engagement party, Robin gave Mac and Filly a thoughtful moment when she gave them a big hug. They asked what that was for. Robin replied that it was from Stone. He predicted their eventual reunion and made Robin promise that when they got together that she was to give them a great big hug from him (Stone) and give them his best wishes!

Robin comes up to Nikolas. She has a French newspaper for him to read, or he could read the letter from Laura. Nik says that Laura sends lies. Robin reads the letter aloud. Lulu saw Nik's picture and brightened up. Laura wants Nik back in her life. Nik gets more and more agitated. Robin tells about her parents. Nike starts to talk. He's very emotional. "She'll always choose them over me, always!" She points out that he's talking. Nik appears to be falling for Robin.

Robin and Brenda are discussing Jax and how Brenda's not giving up on him yet. Then, Brenda gets a delivery, and she's all agog over her new Genie outfit (and enclosed contract for 6 additional commercials). She takes it as a sign that romancing Jax is the right thing to do. Robin reminds her of what Jax said: Isn't it too late? Brenda " it's never too late...." Then, Brenda makes a budget and declares that she now has oodles of money to spend on Jax. Robin reminds her that Jax is a bazillionaire, and probably doesn't need to be wined and dined... Brenda insists that in order to change his mind, she must be persistant and fun... just like Jax was when he was trying to win her over. "Do you think I'm crazy?" she asks Robin. Robin wisely says "No"...

Later, Brenda is in the genie outfit, and answers the front door, obviously thinking it's someone other than Stefan: "Hello Master!" she says... Stefan regards her quizzically and steps into the room, asking for Robin and ignoring all of Brenda's attempts to explain her unusual attire. Robin appears and Stefan thanks Robin, but says that her services are no longer necessary. Robin replies that she's Nik's friend, and that she was happy to do it. Stefan says that Nik will be very busy now, and will be unable to pursue a friendship with Robin. Robin is dubious of that assumption. Stefan offers her tuition money for her services, and Robin refuses it. Stefan leaves, reminding her that "Everything I do, is in Nikolas' best interest...."

Carly coos to Michael about how good Jason is: a great father to Michael, and a good friend to Carly.... even though she made that bad mistake, having that fight with Robin. She's assuring Michael that she won't make any more mistakes, when the phone rings and Jason's machine picks up: It's Robin and she's got something to tell him....Carly's frantic, thinking Robin's going to spill the beans about AJ. She's punching buttons on the answering machine, but, like the Energizer bunny, it keeps on going. She's about to cut the phone line when Michael starts crying. Robin goes on to say that her Big News is that Mac and Filly are engaged... *Whew* that was close! Carly thinks, and thanks little Michael for saving her from making another mistake! If she would have cut that phone cord, Jason would have figured out why and then she would have been in big trouble with him.

Katherine a shower for Felicia, and while all were waiting for the bride, Robin went off to wrap a black, presumably silky thang - Nik walked in while she was holding it up to herself, about to fold it. After mutual blushing ensued, she rejoined the party and Nik stumbled off. When Felicia finally did arrive, the first thing she did announce that she and Mac *weren't* getting married after all. Of course, everyone chalked it up to cold feet and dismissed her from saying anything further. Next up: gift opening time. As the party was breaking up, Nik arranged another Café Matisse date with Robin.

Post-shower, Robin went to the bridge, where she was approached by Helena, who tried to express her "thanks" for helping Nikolas and wanted to talk abut how much they had in common, but Robin wanted none of it, announcing "I don't know you, and I prefer not to." To Robin's retreating back, Helena shrugged "it's a start."

At the Port Charles Grill, Robin and Jax enter the room where Nik and Sarah are also having lunch. Jax and Robin's conversation revolves around Brenda and her latest scheme to capture Jax's heart. Robin has invited Jax out to lunch, but he suspects she is in cahoots with Brenda on some plan. He's right. Robin and Jax banter, and then she leaves him alone, as she moves over to Nik's table. She introduces herself to sarah, and asks if she can join them. "It's for a good cause," she assures them. What good cause, Nik asks, to which Robin replies, "True love." Nik welcomes her, and Sarah tries to hide her discomfort. Brenda shows up at Jax's table, and is disappointed when he is not surprised to see her. He points out the transparency of Robin's ruse, and utters one of my fave lines of the week, as he says further that after asking him to lunch, Robin soon "abandons me to sit at the table of a guy who looks like he's on a date. I think you've ruined the blonde girl's afternoon." (meaning Sarah).

Over at Nik's table, he and Robin continue to shut Sarah out, comparing notes about shared experiences, turning her every contribution into a reason to talk to one another. Example: Nik makes a remark about Robin helping Brenda with her love life, Robin replies that it's "like La Liaisons but without the malice." Sarah tries to jump in, "You mean 'Dangerous Liaisons?'" Robin replies, "Well, kind of, it's the book. We've been reading it together a lot lately." Robin and Nik are exchanging stories about Paris, giggling and bantering comfortably. Sarah points out that "the oyster man is gone" (hint hint) and Robin leaves to join Jax and Brenda, but not before thanking Nik for dessert. "I liked it better than Cafe Matisse".

Robin asks Jax about his lunch. "It was delicious, and memorable, and completely ineffectual. I'm not going to fall, Brenda, no matter what you say or no matter what you do. Thanks for lunch. See you." He goes, and Robin and Brenda dissolve into more giggles.
Robin: "He's going down."
Brenda: "Totally."

Robin enters the lobby and brushes past someone hidden behind a newspaper, apparently reading. Ah-hah--the newspaper is lowered and we see it is Helena. Hel tells Robin how grateful she is for the part Robin played in Nikolas' recovery. Robin politely but firmly brushes her off. Hel concedes graciously, but lets Robin know that should she ever need a *friend*... Next Robin runs into Ed Q and shortly thereafter, Justus. Justus greets her while ignoring Ed. She remarks how well he looks since beginning his "new Life" with Jason. Robin finds Jason on the bridge. He groans in rage and frustration and begins slamming his fists into the stones of the bridge. Robin pleads with him to stop. "Whatever it is," she promises, "I'll help you." "You can't," he tells her. "Micheal's gone." Robin wraps his hand in a handkerchief as Jason blames himself for the kidnapping. The other suspects (Tony, the Qs) have all come up clean. Whoever took the baby was trying to get back at *him*. He's worried for Michael--is he being cared for? Is he scared. Jason never understood before what it meant to be afraid-- but now he does, and it's the worst feeling in the world. "You'll find him," Robin assures him. They embrace. "Yes," Jason agrees. "I'll find him and bring him home. And then I'll find who took him and I'll make them pay." Robin is pressed to Jason's coat, so she can't see his face turn hard and cold.

- 3/18 When she does, Robin comes up and reams her uncle (finally) for his strange behavior. Mac squirms, but Felicia defends him. So Robin yells at her, too.

Robin and Nik are at the park with a take-out picnic of calamari, roasted chicken and salmon, and chocolate eclairs. He toasts her with lobster bisque. "Although I've regained my speech, I still don't have the word s to thank you for helping me." He apologizes for Stefan's attempt to pay Robin off. Tony is in the park with Lucas. Bobbie calls because she's running late handprinting babies. Apparently Tony hasn't heard Edward's broadcast about Michael, and this is the first inkling he has that he might be in trouble. Tony tries to figure out what to do, and plans to take Lucas to ever-ready Betty. Lucas gripes that his dad doesn't love him any more. He's leaving, and even when he's there, he wants to be away. As they leave the park they see Robin and Nikolas. Lucas runs up to Nikolas and informs him that he's 4'2" and 55 pounds. (Reverse SORAS will do that to you.lol) Tony asks them if they can watch Lucas, and leaves. Nik plays with a funny voice with the little boy. While Lucas, having spurned the food, is off at the swings, Robin and Nikolas talk about diabetes and HIV. Tony comes back. While Lucas is tugging his hat out of T's pocket, a piece of paper drops out. Robin calls after Tony, but he doesn't hear her. Nik goes off for hot chocolate, and Robin looks at the paper, which is a receipt for a bassinet and diapers and formula. Robin figures out that Tony has Michael.

Robin wagers that she knows Tony well enough to rescue Michael without incident. Robin, armed with Tony's receipt for assorted baby items, appears at the door to the cabin to confront Tony with the information and talk him into giving himself up. Tony asks if she's told Jason that he kidnapped Michael. She says no; she wanted to come to him first. Perhaps if Tony gives himself up, she adds, he could get out of going to jail. Tony reiterates his reasons for taking Michael and adds that Robin should know how dangerous Jason's occupation is. He also points out that Jason's incapable of forming a bond with anyone. Robin, of course, disagrees with Tony's last statement. Tony says that he was his doctor, and that Jason's emotional base was destroyed in the accident. "Are you saying that Jason can't love Michael?" Robin asks. "He can't," Tony replies. Robin disagrees and says that Jason loves Michael. When Tony asks if Robin thinks that living in a bullet-proof mobster's penthouse, surrounded by guards is a healthy environment, Robin responds by saying that she was raised around guns and guards. And while Tony agrees that Robin turned out well, he wouldn't wish her childhood on anyone... and besides, he adds, Carly's a pathological liar and Jason is amoral. Robin counters with the fact that Jason, at least, doesn't try to justify what he knows is wrong... unlike Tony, who kidnapped a child. "I saved a life," Tony says, and goes on to describe how, for months, he watched Michael grow inside of Carly and then watched him get taken away and put into 'that war zone'. He had to act. Robin says that she understands that Tony had the best intentions, but that Michael is not Tony's child and that she cannot leave him here with him. "I know..." Tony says.... When Robin attempts to leave with Michael, Tony says he'll have to lock her in Michael's room. And then, when he and the baby leave, he'll call the police anonymously and have them rescue her. "You're going to keep me prisoner?" Robin asks, and tries to talk him out of it. Tony tells her not to worry, that he'll get her everything she needs, and then he leaves her locked in the room... Robin admits to Michael that she made a big mistake...

Robin coughs while she pulls a blanket over baby Michael. She soothes the baby and assures him (and herself) that everything will be all right. A smiling Tony enters and inquires, behaving like the host of a bed and breakfast, if everything is all right. No, everything is not fine, Robin answers--she's scared. Not just because she can't believe that someone she's known and trusted could do this to her and to an innocent child. Tony leaves and returns chipper as can be because he discovered a bottle of aspirin. Robin knocks it from his hand. She doesn't have a headache! She has the virus for AIDS and her life is at stake! How can he, as a doctor, justify his behavior. Tony looks sad and says he's sorry, but he's doing this for Michael's sake. "He's not even yours," Robin tells him. Tony promises to try to get her medicine and leaves her locked up with the baby.

When he returns, Robin tells Tony he has to give himself up. She keeps trying to convince him that she's really sick. "You can't keep me here like this any longer." Tony gets flustered. His well-laid plan had started to go wrong. Robin: "Are you hearing how crazy that sounds?" Tony: "Who would have thought you were going to be sick? I am not a bad person! I am a doctor, Robin!" He plans to get antibiotics and then move his schedule up. He locks her in. "Tony, please!" she weakly protests.

Jason arrives at the cabin having put the clues together that Tony had kidnapped Robin. He searches the cabin, calling Robin's name, and kicks in the door to the back room when he hears Robin call out weakly. He goes to Robin first: "You're sick." "I'm better now," Robin answers . She points wea kly to Michael's bassinette. Jason rushes to the baby, picks him up, says a Hail Mary prayer, concludes with Thank You. He's back at Robin's side, giving her the medicine Tony left and water. "You lips are blue, you aren't getting enough oxygen," he tells her, reminding us of Old Jason's pre-med past. Robin says, "Tony says it's pneumonia. Not THAT kind of pneumonia." [that is, not aids-related]

Tony comes through the front door of the cabin. Jason comes to door o the back room, and Tony is not happy to see him. "You got the girl last time. You got the girl this time. But I'm gonna leave first. And I'm taking Michael with me." Tony has a gun and is trying to force Jason into the other room, where he wants to lock up Jason and Robin while he escapes with Michael. He wants to rescue Michael, rather than let him become "another wasted life on the dungheap like you and me and Carly and BJ. He's not wasted yet, He hasn't heard one lie."
"He's not your son, Mr. Jones."
"Doesn't matter. God gave me Michael to make up for the child I lost."
Jason tells Tony it is hard to kill someone, that "you have to make sure the first shot counts, 'coz you won't get another one." There's a scuffle for the gun, Jason gets the upper hand, smashing Tony's gun hand in the process, and Robin appears at the doorway, says "Jason, stop." Jason has the gun poised to hit Tony with it again. Robin pleads for Jason to stop, "He can't hurt you or Michael any more." Jason disagrees, saying, "He'll try again." "Tell him you won't, Tony," Robin begs, but Tony does not speak. Robin collapses, and Jason hurries to her side. Jason's parting shot to Jones, the chilling "What do you think your chances are of living one moment longer than she does?" In the car, Jason is stroking Robin's face and assuring her he's taking her to the hospital. Jason is on the car phone letting Taggert know what has happened. A clearly very ill Robin and the baby are in the seat beside him. He hangs up, Robin says weakly, "I'm sorry."

Jason bursts into the ER with Robin in his arms. Dr. Joe Scanlon takes over and Robin is wheeled away on a gurney. Later, she is in a private room with Jason by her side. She tells him she always knew he would come and rescue her and Michael. Brenda and Jax enter, and when the dr. tells them that too many are in the room, Brenda tells Jason he should leave. Alan and Dr. Joe check on Robin--she's doing pretty well. Mac and Felicia hurry in. Mac wants to know who kidnapped her--as always, Robin defends Jason and admits it was Tony who kept her prisoner. "Our Tony?" Felicia is amazed. Felicia is flummoxed that Tony was the kidnapper. Mac would like to get his hands on Dr. Tony. Only Robin and Filly seem to think that Tony snapped.

Mac chats with Robin, who says she's feeling much better. Robin suddenly remembers that it's Brenda's birthday and that she was supposed to pick up her gift today. Mac volunteers to do it and leaves. Later, Brenda appears in Robin's room pushing a large cart filled with birthday goodies: party favors, boombox, cake. She explains to Robin that she wants to have her party here, and then gushes that Jax asked her out on a 'real date': to the gala for the Waterfront Project. Bobbie comes in and looks upset about the festivities. Robin, Jax, Brenda, and Ned are cutting into Brenda's birthday cake. Ned give her his gift: ten shares of L&B stock. Brenda tells Ned that she spoke to Lois today, and heard Brooke Lynn say "bye bye". Ned looks appropriately enthused/bittersweet and then leaves. Jax gives Brenda his gift: the ruby bracelet Brenda won from the Contessa and then pawned. Robin tells some made up legend about how rubies symbolize true love. Jax expresses his doubts about the story and leaves. Brenda gushes to Robin about how great the story was...
