Anna & Noah/Eli Love #1 (also includes Robert's 2008 return)  July 2, 2007 - December 29, 2008 - 8 hour original edit

DVD #1A  At the hospital, everyone keeps looking at Noah oddly. A new doctor questions Robin as to whether or not Noah has a brother to which she replies that he does not. Later, when Noah is clearly aggravated, he questions the staff and Epiphany shows him a newspaper article. She tells him he looks exactly like an 80's rock star named Eli Love. Noah is furious that everyone thinks he looks like a famous rock star. Epiphany wants to know why he's so upset that people find his looks similar to a celebrity. Noah says he's worked very hard to become an acclaimed neurosurgeon. He doesn't want to be compared to someone who threw away his life for rock and roll. Epiphany is furious that he would say that about musicians and storms away.

Robin finds Patrick singing to himself while he is dressing in the locker room. Robin laughs at him when she realizes he is singing a song from the rock concert they saw the night before of Ely Love, the rock star who is a dead ringer for his father, Noah. They start kissing. Ms. Sneed, the director of Human Resources comes into the locker room and sees them kissing. She tells them that they are breaking new hospital rules about showing public displays of affection at the hospital. Robin and Patrick point out that the locker room is a private place and that they aren't kissing in front of anyone else or being unprofessional. Ms. Sneed disagrees with them and plans to report them to Dr. Ford. Noah shows up and asks what is going on? Patrick and Robin explain. Noah puts on the charm and talks Ms. Sneed into not reporting them but just giving them a warning instead. Noah realizes he still has got something that effects women still and boasts about it before he leaves.

Later, Patrick overreacts when Noah asks for a file on a patient that belongs to Patrick. Patrick refuses to let Noah give him any professional help with his patient which leads to a heated argument between father and son. Patrick sinks low when he brings up Noah's former bouts of drinking. Epiphany tells Robin and Patrick that she just got a call that a patient was just brought in with a possible brain embolism. Patrick rushes over as the patient is wheeled off the elevator toward them. He thinks it is his father at first glance  and checks his pulse. Noah comes over when he hears Patrick calling to him and asks what is going on. Patrick looks over and sees his father standing there perfectly fine and looks over at the patient and sees they look identical to each other.

While Patrick runs tests and preps the operating room, Eli wakes up and sees Noah. He says, "Either that was one hell of a party or I'm dead." Noah tells him he's not dead. He and Robin explain to him that he's in the hospital. Eli asks if he's hallucinating since there's a doctor that looks just like him. Patrick tells him, no, he's not hallucinating. He agrees that Noah looks like Eli, which Noah denies, much to Epiphany's delight. Patrick tells Eli that he will be treating him, but Noah wants to be his doctor. Patrick thinks poor Eli will think he's hallucinating every time he sees Dr. Drake Sr. He tries to get Robin to side with him, but Noah tells him to leave his girlfriend out of it. Another doctor ends up approaching the pair and telling them how much Eli and Noah look alike. He says it would be like operating on yourself. Noah thinks Patrick told the doctor to say that. Patrick doesn't think that Noah should operate on Eli and threatens to get Dr. Ford involved. Robin points out that Patrick probably shouldn't be operating on someone who looks like his father, since his own emotions might interfere.

Later, Robin finds out that Dr. Lawrence is available for Eli's surgery. Patrick isn't okay with that. Eli needs the best. Patrick goes to tell Eli that he has an embolism, which is what caused him to pass out. He has to have brain surgery to remove it. Eli tells him to forget it. He's got a concert. Patrick says if he doesn't operate, Eli will die.  Eli Love refuses surgery. Patrick and Robin warn him that his condition will worsen without it. Robin asks Patrick to resign from Eli's case, as he is to emotionally involved. Later, Eli tries to leave the hospital but is caught by Epiphany. Once back in his hospital room, he tells Robin and Patrick that he has a benefit concert he must perform at and Patrick suggests that Noah pretend to be Eli for the concert. Patrick encourages Noah to save the pediatric AIDS fundraiser and act as a stand-in for Eli. Noah is very reluctant, but later pays Eli a visit and offers to be a substitute. Eli flips out, and collapses when he tries to get out of bed.

Robin is startled when her mother rapels down into her living room from the roof. Patrick walks in, minus his shirt, just as Anna is complimenting Robin's hair. Patrick comments that they do have a door she could have used, but Anna balks at that. Robin and Anna tell Patrick about agent life and they explain to Anna about James Craig and how he's never been found. Anna and Patrick talk about how special Robin is and how she wants to celebrate life. She has tickets to the Eli Love concert. Anna goes on and on about Eli Love and how women slingshot their underwear onstage. Anna wants an introduction to Eli at the hospital.  Anna shows up at GH, anxious to meet Eli. Robin and Patrick come up with excuses, but Anna just decides to make her rounds to find Eli.

Meanwhile, Eli talks to Noah about Eli's sex appeal and the money he's raising for Aids research. They also discuss Noah filling in. Eli doesn't think Noah can duplicate his voice. Anna barges in, shocked to see two Eli Loves. Once everything is explained, Noah and Anna walk out of the hospital room and talk. Anna asks him to keep her adult daughter a secret from Eli. She can't stop staring at him and even checks out his rear when he walks away. She goes back to talk to Eli and embarrasses him while she goes on and on and has him sign her t-shirt. Patrick and Robin walk in and tell Anna there may not be a concert if Eli doesn't have surgery. They explain their idea of having Noah stand in and how Eli is against it. Anna thinks she can get Eli to approve of the operation. Later, Anna pages Noah, Patrick and Robin. She tells them she's going to save a rock legend, and then proceeds to tell Noah to drop his pants.

Anna tries to talk Noah into impersonating Eli. Noah dresses up in Eli's clothes and Robin and Patrick mistaken think he is Eli. Anna coaches Noah on some of Eli's moves and gives him the guitar to try and play. Noah strums a few cords. Anna and Noah discuss Eli's health, and the prospect of Noah standing in for Eli at the concert. Noah explains to Anna that surgery is his best chance for survival. Robin approaches her mother and questions her involvement in the Noah/Eli situation, when she knows that at any given moment, she could be called away for work. Anna tells her daughter that if she wants her to stay in Port Charles permanently, she only needs to ask. Robin acknowledges Anna's love for her but doesn't want her mother to give up what makes her happy. She talks to her mom about Patrick. Robin is taken aback when Anna asks her about marriage and children. She does not want to push anything, but tells Robin that being a mom is her greatest joy and she wants her to experience the same thing. Anna is able to convince Eli to have the surgery. Noah is willing to perform in the concert, but is nervous about it.

Robin, Patrick and Noah emerge form surgery exhausted. Anna approaches and tells Noah she has less than an hour to transform him into a rock star. Noah doesn't want to go, but Anna tells him this party is a perfect time to try and on their gig and see if it will work. Noah wants to just tell everyone Eli is sick, but Robin tells him he won't win an argument with her mom. He agrees and Anna gets to work. Patrick talks to Robin about his Dad's alcoholism. He's worried that acting like Eli Love will sabotage his sobriety. At Eli Love's party, Robin and Patrick order drinks and find a seat. A man comes up to Patrick and claims to know him. He thinks Patrick is someone famous. They blow him off and in walks Anna and "Eli". Patrick is surprised at how well his dad is doing at fooling everyone. Robin pulls her mother aside to remind her that Noah is NOT Eli and that he is a recovering alcoholic. Anna says they are going to give the people what they want. While Kate's boss and his girlfriend talk to Eli about backstage passes, Anna brings Eli his drink of choice for a toast, VODKA!

Anna and Noah drink with the guests at the Eli Love dinner. Patrick gets angry at Noah for drinking and Anna for giving him the drinks. Patrick confides in Robin that he is worried his father will have a relapse due to the atmosphere he will be subjected to as Eli Love. A woman approaches Noah and he acts as though he remembers her and later tries to get him to drink vodka off her belly. Anna acts like a jealous girlfriend to get Noah away from the woman and proceeds to spray the woman with water. While people are looking on, Anna kisses Noah. Noah enjoys the attention he received impersonating Eli and is optimistic he'll be able to fool the crowd at the upcoming concert with Anna's help. Robin pales at the thought of Noah hooking up with Anna. Robin confronts Noah point blank about what's going on between him and her mother.  Noah wants to know why Robin thinks he and Anna have slept together? He says the hospital is a breeding ground for gossip. He tells her it's none of her business what his relationship is with Anna. He tells them to find something better to do. He leaves and Robin and Patrick talk about the possibility of their parents hooking up. Robin is worried she put the idea in Noah's head to start something with Anna. Noah shows back up dressed as Eli. He's getting ready to go see Anna.

Bobbie fears Noah is risking his sobriety with his charade. Noah has a tough time resisting temptation. Patrick and Robin observe Noah acting differently. While they agree that it would be difficult to accept their parents in a relationship, Patrick admits that his father has seemed happy. Later, Robin and Patrick walk in on Noah and Anna in an embrace. The couple gives their parents the third degree about their budding relationship. Robin tells them it's not good to mix business and pleasure, and Noah accuses them of doing the same thing. Noah appears uncomfortable as he sees a vodka advertisement on the table. Robin sends the men away to talk with her mother. Anna denies any feelings for Noah. Robin tells her that she is a danger junkie who is getting a rush transforming Noah to Eli. Patrick tells Noah that he is getting carried away with the Eli Love gig, and accuses him on drinking again. He tells Patrick that he would be crazy to start drinking again, and that he feels better than he has in years. He is happy to have female attention. When Patrick asks what happens to Anna when the concert is over, Noah tells him that their lives are incompatible.  Anna get a visit from Noah. They talk about the accusations of their children, and end up in a passionate kiss. Anna pulls away when things heat up, as she cannot stop thinking about Robin's warnings. Noah appears disappointed when she tells him she will call him tomorrow.

Patrick walks in the hospital yelling about a lost file. Epiphany has it and tells him if he's nice she'll give it back to him. Robin walks in and through conversation with Patrick; it is revealed that Patrick's bad mood is due to Robin not sleeping with him. She's sickened by their parent's hook up. Noah walks up and tells them that Anna bailed on him. He's mad and tells Robin that it's her fault that Anna is not returning his calls. Patrick stands up for Robin, which surprises her. After Noah leaves, she asks Patrick why he stood up for her. Epiphany butts in and says that Patrick is trying to make up for lost time.

Noah goes to the bar to have a drink. Bobbie walks up and asks if it's him or Eli. He reveals that he is Noah. She questions his drink, but he tells her it is club soda. She wonders if he can make it through the Eli Love impersonation without losing his sobriety. After Bobbie leaves, another man approaches Noah and thanks him for his impersonation. He is saving Eli's life and also continuing to raise money for charity by impersonating the rock star. As they talk, they are both served alcoholic drinks. Noah takes a long drink. Noah goes back to the hospital where Patrick greets him with information about a surgery they need to do on a pregnant patient. He wants his dad to scrub in with him. Patrick is surprised but pleased when his father declines and tells him he can handle it himself.

Patrick is annoyed when Robin spurns him again. He senses something is wrong and presses her for an answer as she leaves for work. They continue to bicker at the hospital until she finally admits she thinks she is pregnant.  Patrick is shocked to learn that Robin thinks she may be pregnant. They used protection. How could this happen? Robin is upset that Patrick is acting like his bachelor life will be ruined by a child. As they argue, everyone at the hospital becomes aware of Robin's possible pregnancy. She decides to leave work and go home to take the pregnancy test. Patrick goes home with her and tells her that he hasn't had time to adjust to the news. He's not sure how he will handle being a parent. Kids make him nervous. When the time is up on the test, Robin checks it and says she is not pregnant. They are relieved.

Anna, Robin, Patrick, and Noah gather in the stage area for the concert. Anna is excited and calls herself a groupie. Noah has cold feet and says he's not going to perform. Patrick gets mad at him and tells him at least he has experience in failures and storms out. Robin meets Patrick back at work. She thought he was taking the day off. He says his dad has neglected patients. He's been too self-centered. Robin tells him she understands. They both have had similar circumstances. Patrick says his father always bails when people rely on Noah. She suggests that perhaps Patrick is the one bailing on his father, now. They go back to see Noah, who has had a heart to heart with Anna about parenting. Noah tells Patrick that he's going to give it a shot. Noah asks if Patrick became a surgeon because of him, and he says yes. All he ever wanted was for his father to be there. He's here now, though, and that's all that matters. Suddenly, Noah trips over a cord and chaos falls all around him. They ask him if he's alright. He says he hurt his throat and starts coughing.

Noah hurts his vocal cords after a microphone falls down and hits him in the throat backstage. Patrick worries about his ability to perform after he complains that his throat hurts and he can't sing. Meanwhile, Robin and Anna show up at the hospital just as Eli is wheeled out into the hallway. Eli tells Epiphany that he is well enough to go home soon. Epiphany tells him that he is not well enough to walk yet and won't be going anywhere. Anna and Robin approach him. Anna kisses Eli when she sees how much better he is doing. She realizes what she just did and can't believe it. Robin tries to get Anna to focus on why they came to the hospital. Anna tells Epiphany that she needs Eli's help and explains to him what happened to Noah earlier. Eli tells everyone that he will have to go and perform the concert himself because they can't disappoint all the fans that came and raised all that money for AIDS. Eli tries to stand up but is too wobbly and has to sit back in his wheelchair. Anna and Robin explain to Epiphany that they need Eli's help. Robin and Patrick show up at the concert with Eli. Patrick has to go on stage to introduce Eli and talk to them about how they can help LifeBeat further. Noah apologizes to Patrick about how he can't sing tonight with his voice all hoarse. Anna, Robin, Eli, and Epiphany show up backstage. Anna tells Noah that she may have a way for this all to work. Later, Noah shows up on stage to perform as Eli with Eli backstage with a microphone and earpiece to sing for him while in his wheelchair. Noah says hello to all the fans with his hoarse voice. Suddenly, the microphone shuts down just as Eli is about to sing. One of the technical guys tells everyone that the microphones aren't working. Noah realizes that he is on his own with no help from Eli.

With Anna and Eli's help, Noah manages to pull off the concert for LIFEbeat. Still on a high from his success, Noah advises Patrick to live life to the fullest. Patrick overhears Anna giving Robin some important advice. She says that since she is an international spy that she can wrap her brain around being a grandmother and encourages Robin to go for motherhood. When Noah spots a helicopter, he thinks it is for him. Anna corrects him and says it is hers and she has to leave town and bids her daughter goodbye. End 2007 Scenes.

April 24, 2008 - Anna called to let Robin know that she was coming to Port Charles. Robin tried to find out when Anna would be arriving, but the weak reception resulted in the call being dropped. Robin seemed less than thrilled at the prospect of a visit from her mother. When Patrick questioned her about it, Robin admitted that she had not told Anna about the baby. Patrick was shocked. He pointed out that she was several months along. He couldn't believe that there hadn't been an opportunity to tell Anna. Robin reminded Patrick that her mother was an international spy. Communication was spotty and there never seemed to be a right time. She was also worried about Anna's reaction to the news. In Robin's words, "How do you tell Wonder Woman that she's going to be a grandma?"  Anna walked into Robin's apartment after her knocks on the front door went unanswered. Robin was in the other room and thought it was Patrick. As she made her way to the door, she yelled out, mentioning her pregnancy. Robin broke out in smiles when she found her mother, a stunned expression plastered on her face, standing in her living room.

Despite Anna's reaction, Robin welcomed her in to sit and try to calm down. Anna apologized for her shock. She was very happy about Robin's pregnancy, but she wasn't ready for the "grandmother" word yet. Robin explained how she met Stacey, an HIV-positive pregnant woman at the hospital who died shortly after giving birth. Robin decided after that experience that she also wanted to be a mother. Patrick wasn't ready to be a father, so they split up. They had a one-night stand after Georgie's death, and Robin became pregnant unexpectedly. Robin didn't tell Patrick at first, but he figured out he was the father of her baby. The conversation was interrupted when Patrick knocked on the door. Anna opened the door for him and hugged the father of her daughter's baby. Patrick mentioned his plans for getting a beer, and Anna thought that was an excellent idea. Robin suggested Patrick get them a table at Jake's, while she and Anna freshened up. After Patrick left, Anna took a phone call and told Robin she had to go. Anna promised she would be back soon and rushed out the door. Robin showed up at Jake's just in time to hear Patrick telling Coleman how hot Robin's mother was.

Anna assured her daughter that Robin was still hot. Robin understood that her mother was having a hard time adjusting to the "grandmother" word. Anna said she needed to get some air, and left to go to the Haunted Star. She walked into the casino to find Luke and Tracy arguing over Luke's safety. Tracy tried to tell Anna they were closed, but Luke offered her a high stakes game. Tracy asked Anna if she was retired, but Anna declared she was very much on top of her game. When Luke walked over to ask Anna why she was out gambling, she confided she was going to be a grandmother. Anna and Luke prepared to play Naked Roulette while Luke gave Anna advice in dealing with her daughter.

An inebriated Luke and a tipsy Anna played strip roulette on the Haunted Star, then set up a hanging swing. Anna reclined in the swing, while both she and Luke admitted that they did not want to get older. They were quaffing shots of liquor when Robin, Patrick, and Tracy arrived on board. Robin and Patrick convinced Anna to go home, leaving Luke with a disgruntled Tracy. After they got back to Robin's apartment, Anna complained of a sore back and talked to Robin about her fears of becoming a grandmother. Robin said that she was glad Anna was there, even if she was hanging upside down drunk in a swing, because Robin needed her mother. They discussed their fears. Robin told about her fears of pregnancy and Anna's dangerous job, and Anna worried about getting old and Robin's health. Robin was grateful when Patrick arrived with food, but Anna wanted to know when Patrick and Robin were getting married.

Robin was mortified and tried to explain that her mother was having a nervous breakdown. Anna felt they should get married since Robin and Patrick clearly loved each other. Their happiness was important to her, and they did have a bun in the oven. Patrick pointed out that he preferred to call it a muffin in the oven, but Anna didn't get the joke. Patrick left to get a drink from Luke, who offered him another after Patrick explained the conversation with Anna. Robin tried to explain to her mother how she first met Patrick. Anna thought Patrick had changed, but Robin said she didn't want to make a wrong decision and make her child pay for the consequences later. Robin wanted Anna to speak with Patrick, but Anna had to delay the conversation after receiving an urgent text message.

Robin was filming a new blog entry when someone began knocking, rather incessantly, on her front door. Robin assumed it was Patrick and said, "I'm busy. Go away." When Robin answered the door, she was pleasantly surprised to see her mother. Anna brought scones for tea time with Robin. Cocktails were more Anna's style, though, so Robin was curious what was going on with her mother. Anna said she was just beginning to face reality and suggested a desk job might be a good change for her new status of grandmother-to-be. Robin didn't think that was a good idea. Anna continued talking about how she couldn't go around "kung-fooing" everyone. Meanwhile, Anna was trying to open the jar of jam. Her pregnant daughter took the jar and opened it for her when Anna couldn't. They were interrupted when Anna's phone rang. She promised her daughter she wouldn't be running off after taking the phone call, like in the past. When Anna answered, she discovered it was Chip, the manager for Eli Love. The rock star was in Rio and had two days off. He had two back stage passes for Anna and wanted her to join him. Anna thanked him for the offer, but said she couldn't go. When she said goodbye, Robin asked her what was wrong with her for not taking the incredible offer.

Anna interrupted Robin and Patrick, when she walked in and told them she could hear them arguing all the way down the hall. Anna felt Patrick should leave, so he left after Robin agreed with her mother. Later, Robin sneaked out while her mother was on a phone call.  At the nurses' station, Patrick served Robin with court papers. Patrick begged her to let him be a family with her and their unborn child. When Robin again demurred, he told her that he had hired Diane as his lawyer and he was determined to get visitation rights with his child. Before he could say more, Anna Devane appeared and hurled him to the floor.

Later in a hospital room, Anna wanted answers from Patrick. When he told her how he really felt-that he wanted to be part of a family with Robin and their child-Anna understood. She told Patrick that Robin got her stubbornness from her father, Robert. She also told Patrick that Robin was scared because Robin's father had not been around and perhaps Robin thought a father was someone who dropped in occasionally. Patrick said that he too had grown up with an absent father and he wanted something different for his child. Anna asked if that was because Patrick wanted to prove something to his father. Patrick said "No." He wanted to prove something to his child. It was clear that Anna approved of his answer.

When Diane suggested to Robin that Patrick had rights, Robin seemed inclined to go to court. Anna overheard as she and Patrick joined the group and quipped that if the case went to court, she would have to testify. Robin smugly said, "Thanks, Mom." Her face fell when Anna added, "For Patrick." Robin could not believe her mother was siding with Patrick and had agreed to testify on his behalf. The two started arguing over Patrick's unwillingness to be a father prior to finding out Robin was pregnant. Patrick agreed he made some dumb comments previously, but he was trying to grow up.

Later, Robin met with Alexis and asked her to take the case. Alexis agreed to be Robin's lawyer but said it was always easier when parents got along. Anna showed up, and Robin explained to Alexis that Anna would be testifying on Patrick's behalf. After Alexis left, Anna stuck around while Robin went to bed. Patrick showed up and Anna let him in. He wanted advice on how to get Robin to understand he wanted to be with her and the baby. Anna admitted Robin's emotional problems were her and Robert's fault. If Anna was able to convince Robin to move in with Patrick and he ended up hurting her, Anna would show Patrick the type of special agent she was at work.

Robin came home to find Anna measuring the windows for bulletproof glass. She also mentioned to her daughter that great strides were being made with Kevlar curtains. Robin reminded her mother that Patrick was the father of her child, not Sonny or Jason. Anna was just trying to keep her family safe, despite the heavy mob influence in Port Charles. They sat down to talk and Anna explained her thoughts on Robin's behavior. Anna realized Robin had no control over her HIV status, but the one thing she could control was Patrick's relationship with their unborn child. Apparently, these comments had hit too close to home, as Robin left and said she needed to get some air. Patrick talked to Epiphany about who could assist him on a surgery when Noah walked in and asked if he could participate. The two chatted very briefly about Noah's work abroad before Patrick agreed to let his father assist with the surgery. During the surgery, Noah asked if Patrick and Robin were getting along any better. Patrick mentioned Robin's hormones from pregnancy and Noah was shocked to hear the news. After the surgery was over, Noah mentioned he hoped Robin wasn't relying on Patrick to be a hands-on father. Patrick was stunned and upset by his father's comments. When the lawsuit was brought up, Noah offered to testify on Robin's behalf.

Patrick, Anna, and Noah discussed the impending court trial. Noah insisted that he would testify for Robin if Patrick did not call off the court hearing immediately. Anna said that she would testify for Patrick. The three were still arguing when Robin returned to her apartment. When Noah said that Patrick would be a rotten father, Robin defended Patrick. Noah said that Patrick only had him as a role model and that he had been a bad father to Patrick. Anna said it was about control issues for Robin. Robin said that it was not about Noah or Anna, it was about how Robin and Patrick could best raise their child. Robin chastised Noah for his demeaning comments about Patrick. A hopeful Patrick was crushed when Robin reiterated that she did not think that fatherhood was what Patrick really wanted. She said that she loved and respected Patrick and believed that he believed that he could be a father to their child, but she had been prepared to raise her child alone and she was still prepared to do so, and that was what she would tell the judge in the upcoming custody trial.

Robin and Anna were having breakfast before they were scheduled to appear in court for the custody hearing, when Patrick, and then Noah, dropped by. Patrick brought Robin her favorite pastries, while Noah was there to offer Robin moral support. Anna took the opportunity and tried to get Patrick and Noah to work through their issues. It did not go well. Noah was convinced that Patrick was inherently unable to be a good father to his child because of the kind of father that Noah had been. Noah warned his son to walk away from his baby before he ended up with a mountain of regret, like Noah. After Noah left, Robin asked her mother to leave as well. Robin wanted to talk to Patrick. When they were alone, Robin told Patrick that he was a better man than Noah gave him credit for. Patrick chuckled without humor, and pointed out that Robin just didn't think he was good enough to be a father to their baby. Before Robin could respond, Patrick went on to tell her that he loved her and their baby and that was why he had to go through with the custody petition.

Noah and Anna both arrived at court and said they would not be able to testify. When the trial started, Patrick took the stand and declared his love for Robin and the baby. Although he had not wanted to be a father initially, he loved Robin and the baby and wanted to be a part of his child's life. Robin stood up to apologize and stopped the trial. She told Patrick he could see her and the baby anytime he wanted. Outside the courtroom, Noah said he was proud of his son for spilling his guts on the stand. Meanwhile, Anna pushed Robin to talk to Patrick, especially after the public announcement. Robin decided to take her mother's advice and approached Patrick. She told him she was happy he wanted to be a father to their baby, and they both told each other they loved one another. They all thought Robin, Patrick, and the baby would make a wonderful family. They were interrupted when Anna received a text message from Eli Love. He would be coming to town, but Anna was disappointed she could not be with him as much during this tour because she was preparing to be a grandma.

At the hospital, Anna talked to Patrick and Robin about Eli Love's arrival. Although the concert would be great fun, Eli didn't know that his favorite groupie was about to be a grandmother. Epiphany seemed annoyed at all the commotion Eli was causing, and Cassius was annoyed because everyone knew Eli Love was there before he had known. When Eli finally entered the hospital, Robin hid from him behind the nurse's station. Eli kept asking for her, but Robin was determined to stay out of sight. When Kelly saw her, she thought Robin might need a shrink for her pregnancy-induced stress. Robin did her best to explain the situation and asked for help in getting out of the hospital.

Anna dropped in to visit Robin at her apartment. Robin could tell that Anna and Eli had been together. Anna was jazzed because she had been a fan of Eli's for a long time and it made her very happy to know that he enjoyed spending time with her. Anna thanked Robin for not letting Eli know that Robin was pregnant. She went on to tell Robin that she was not sorry that Robin was pregnant and she was very happy for Robin. She was also happy for herself. She said that she did a lot of things wrong when Robin was growing up and she wanted to make up for that. Anna said that she was looking forward to being a grandmother and she felt silly for not telling Eli. Robin said that she understood and that she loved Anna and wanted her mother to be happy. She told Anna that she did not want her to be a stereotypical grandmother. Robin wanted Anna to just be herself. Robin said any child would be lucky to know Anna. Robin said that she certainly felt that way about her life with Anna.

DVD #1B  At Jake's Bar, Spinelli ordered whiskey and told Coleman to keep them coming. Coleman suggested orange soda. Spinelli wanted to drown his sorrows, but Coleman would not serve him alcohol, because he feared that Jason would be upset with him if he let Spinelli get drunk. While Spinelli bemoaned his fate, Eli Love walked in. He asked for the whiskey that Coleman had denied Spinelli. Eli asked Coleman to join him. Each raised a glass as Eli toasted Anna Devane and sang her praises. Spinelli looked longingly at his empty glass. After a few toasts, Coleman asked Eli to give Spinelli some advise about how to get the girl. Eli was glad to oblige. He told Spinelli to learn to play the guitar. Spinelli wailed that he was rhythmically challenged. Before Eli could answer, Anna came in. She said it depended on the guy and what kind of guitar. Eli was delighted to see her. He gave Anna a welcoming hug.

At Jake's, Anna and Eli were sitting at the bar discussing the atmosphere at Jake's. Eli said that the bar reminded him of one of his favorite places in London. Eli suggested that he take Anna to the bar when she joined him on his tour at the end of October. Anna stammered for a moment and said that she would have to meet up with him later in the tour because she had plans. Just then Robin and Patrick walked in. Eli spotted the couple and invited them over. Eli took one look at Robin as she approached him and realized that she was pregnant. Anna confessed that she and Robin had been trying to hide the pregnancy from Eli because of his rock star status. Eli smiled and told Anna that she was an exciting, kick-ass woman. He would be crazy to walk away from her because she was going to be a grandmother. Later, as Anna and Eli were playing pool, his manager brought in a journalist to interview Eli. When she mistook Anna for Eli's girlfriend, Eli explained that his girlfriend was in Sydney on a photo shoot and that Anna was an old friend. To Anna's horror he then told the woman that Anna was about to be a grandmother. Patrick was offended on Anna's behalf. He marched up to Eli and punched him in the face.

At the hospital, Anna and Robin had a heart-to-heart talk after Eli's immature behavior. Anna felt that being a grandmother was a gift from Robin to Anna, and she would not take it for granted. Patrick came over to them and told them Eli might have a fractured jaw. His manager was threatening to sue Patrick if Eli wasn't able to perform his next show. Anna decided to approach Noah and ask if he would be interested in being Eli Love once more. Noah was appalled when he heard how Eli had treated Anna. He declined the offer to be a superstar again, though. Noah was an alcoholic, and the temptation to drink when he was Eli Love was too great. Anna told him he was a good man, but Noah said he was just a slow learner. His alcoholism had ruined his relationship with his son. He couldn't risk an encore as Eli Love.

Later, Eli was preparing to leave after learning his jaw was not fractured, and he would be able to sing. He apologized to Anna for his previous comments and extended an offer for her to come to his hotel room for dinner later. Anna offered to leave with him when he left the hospital, but Eli didn't think that was such a great idea. He didn't want to be seen in public with her, because he had an image to maintain. Anna was furious and declined the offer to ever meet up with him again. Noah took things a step further and punched Eli Love, who fell to the ground. Robin tried to convince Anna to go to the Eli Love concert, but Anna was still upset over the way Eli had shunned her with the press, and refused. She said that she would rather stick needles in her eyes than go to Eli's concert. Robin was convinced that Anna needed to go to the concert to show Eli what he was missing, but Anna refused and left the area. Robin shared her concerns with Noah and Patrick. She begged Noah to convince Anna to go to the concert.

Noah paged Anna and when she arrived on the scene, she told him that she would rather share a dinner with him and catch up than go to Eli's concert. Noah said he would love to do that, but he did not want Anna to use him as a way to hide from Eli Love. Max showed up at Eli Love's concert and Robin made sure all the final plans were complete. Eli Love was to be kidnapped at gunpoint in front of Anna. Robin was worried Anna wouldn't show up, but thankfully Anna came to the concert. Eli was thrilled to see her, and the concert started without a hitch. Everyone enjoyed the music, but at the end, a strange girl ran up on stage and leapt into Eli's arms. Anna was furious, but Robin managed to get her mother to wait with her by Eli's limousine for Patrick's arrival. When Eli appeared, a masked gunman tried to grab Eli. Anna thwarted the would-be attacker and impressed Eli with her moves.

Robin met Anna at the Metro Court restaurant. Robin apologized for setting Anna up to foil the phony kidnapping of Eli Love. Anna said Robin she was her daughter and she loved her, but she also admitted that she felt humiliated when she found out the kidnapping attempt was a fake. Robin told her the main reason that she had staged it was to show Anna that she was Robin's hero. Anna was touched and told Robin that as long as she had Robin's love, nothing else mattered and she was not going to lose her self-confidence because of Eli Love.

Eli Love went to the hospital looking for Anna and refused to leave, even when his managers insisted. When he asked Epiphany about Robin, she was very short with him. She asked if he was ill. When he said no, she told him to stop wasting her time. Eli insisted that Robin was the only one who could convince Anna. Epiphany said that Anna was already convinced that Eli was "an ass." Eli did not understand her animosity. He thought that it was understandable that he was freaked out by Anna's grandmotherly status, but he wanted to set the record straight. He told Epiphany how impressed he had been by Anna's actions in his defense on the previous evening and he wanted to talk to her. He told his managers that he was not going anywhere without seeing Anna. Eli was still at GH when Anna and Robin got there. Robin tried to shield Anna from Eli, but he insisted that he had things to say to her. Anna said that she had heard everything that he had to say, but Eli persisted. He told her that he wanted her in his life. He thanked her for saving him, and then he told her that he could handle her being a grandmother, but he could not handle her walking out of his life. Before Anna could answer, a woman appeared with a young boy and told Eli that she had brought his son to see him.

Anna looked on as Eli's manager told the young woman, whose name was Trish, to leave. He told her that she knew the deal, that if she came anywhere near Eli, she would forfeit child support. Trish sent her son, Elijah, to the waiting area to play with his toy cars, while she spoke with Eli. Robin joined Elijah and tried to make conversation, but he was withdrawn. Patrick came over to assist. Patrick was very helpful and demonstrated his parenting skills as he and Robin talked to Elijah about the cars. Robin was very impressed with Patrick's ability to have a conversation with Elijah without talking down to him. While Anna and various hospital staff members looked on, Trish told Eli that she was not there because she wanted more money, but because her son, Elijah, wanted to meet his father. Eli told her that a half hour in a tour bus did not make him a father. He told her that he gave her plenty of money to take care of the boy. Eli asked Trish what it would take to get her and her son out of his life.

Eli was having a bitter argument with a woman who claimed that Eli was the father of her son. Anna, annoyed by Eli's callous treatment of the woman in front of the child, asked Epiphany to take Elijah away. Once the young boy was out of sight, Anna delivered a vicious kick to Eli's jaw. Eli collapsed to the ground. He soon found that there was little sympathy for his plight. No one went to his aid. Patrick bent down and admonished Eli for his behavior. He accused Eli, and men like him, for giving women a false impression of men who want to be fathers to their children. Noah, who had joined the onlookers, was impressed by what his son had said. After Eli was carted away by his handlers, Noah took a moment to let his son know that he was proud of him. At the park, Anna and Noah talked. Anna realized that perhaps her attraction to Eli stemmed from the fact that he looked like Noah. Noah decided to test the theory by leaning down and kissing Anna.

At the hospital, Patrick could not resist telling Robin how sexy he thought she looked. They started kissing and headed to the supply closet. When they got there they found it occupied by Anna and Noah, who asked Robin and Patrick to remember that they were adults and could have a relationship if they wanted to. Patrick and Robin agreed that they were right, which surprised Anna and Noah. Robin asked Patrick and Noah to leave so that she could talk to Anna. After the men were gone, Robin wanted to know if Anna truly cared about Noah or if she was still attracted to Eli Love. Anna said she thought that she had been attracted to Noah in the first place, and that Eli had been the substitute. Her only regret was that she had wasted time on Eli when she could have been getting to know Noah, with whom she had more in common, and who she liked better. Robin accepted that and wished Anna well. Patrick and Noah also had a discussion about Noah and Anna. Noah was surprised when Patrick gave his approval, which made Noah happy. The pair shared a father-son bonding moment.

Robin was thrilled when she saw her mother in the lobby. Anna had been given a leave of absence from the agency and wanted to be around until after the baby was born. Robin was excited but Anna felt Robin might need her more than she originally thought. Anna started to explain about Patrick and Leyla's earlier confrontation with Matt Hunter but Robin asked if they could talk over lunch at Kelly's. Leyla had overheard their brief conversation and as soon as the two women were gone she told Patrick what had happened. At Kelly's, Patrick walked in just as Anna was finishing up summarizing Patrick's sudden urge to protect Leyla from Matt Hunter. Robin wasn't worried, though and she told Patrick she knew what was going on. The smile on their faces gave it away and Anna was thrilled to learn she was going to have a granddaughter. Anna, Robin, and Patrick share a lighthearted breakfast at Kelly's. Anna, Robin, and Mike teased Patrick about being a reformed ladies man and about how protective he had become of his daughter. Mike and Anna discussed the joys of being a grandparent.

Epiphany and Patrick were bickering back and forth as they approached the nurse's station. Robin was curious about what they were talking about but Patrick refused to enlighten her. He asked Robin to trust him and promised her that she would know by the end of the day. Robin jumped to the conclusion that Patrick was going to try to push her to take an early maternity leave. That theory was bolstered by Anna's arrival. Robin made it clear that she had no intention of going on maternity leave early. To emphasize her point, Robin returned to work. While Robin was in an exam room with a patient, Patrick's voice came over the P.A. system. Robin was speechless as Patrick began talking about how much he loved Robin and their baby. As she made her way to Patrick at the nurse's station, Patrick listed all the reasons that he thought Robin was a special and unique person. When he saw Robin, Patrick put the phone down and walked up to her. In front of the hospital staff, Mac, and Anna, a misty-eyed Patrick got down on one knee and asked Robin if she would marry him. He told her he knew they wouldn't always get along, but they would always have respect for each other. Robin had made him want to commit to someone, and Patrick was ready to commit to her and their family. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and their baby. Robin was clearly touched by Patrick's words. As Liz, Kelly, Epiphany, Mac, Matt Hunter, and Anna watched, Robin said it was a beautiful thought but she was too crowded. A very hurt Patrick sat down on the floor while Robin got on the elevator.

Patrick and Anna shared scones and conversation at Patrick's apartment. Patrick wanted her help in convincing Robin to marry him. They had just started talking about how to change Robin's mind, when she showed up to return the flowers and candy that Patrick had sent in his attempt to woo her. Anna left them alone to sort out their issues. Robin remained firm that she did not want to get married. She worried that getting married would ruin their relationship. Robin also worried about her dad, Robert, who was in GH undergoing chemotherapy. She did not want to keep the news from Anna, but Robert had insisted that he did not want Anna to know. Patrick said it was because Robert did not want Anna to see him weak. Robin speculated that it was something in the genes that made him so stubborn. Robin said that not wanting to get married was also in the genes.

Anna dropped by the Port Charles police station to see Mac. She told him that he had to help Robin see that marrying Patrick would be the best thing for her to do. Mac said he wanted to stay out of it. He said that even though he did not think that anyone was good enough for Robin, that if she wanted to get married, he would support whoever Robin chose, even Patrick. Anna said that Robin did want to get married, but Robin was afraid to make the commitment because everyone she had loved had died or been lost to her except for Mac. Anna told Mac that he was Robin's security blanket because he had always been there for her. Anna told him that because of that connection, he was the one who could get through to Robin. Mac arrived at GH with Anna, Robin thought she had an ally, but when she asked Mac to back her up and say that marriage to Patrick was a bad idea, Mac responded that he was not so sure.

Anna walked in and Robin was concerned her mother might be sick. Anna said she was just there because Patrick had asked to see her. Robin was annoyed by the information, but Anna tried to remind her that Patrick had changed his ways for Robin. He had publicly announced his love to Robin and every time she turned him down, it was a blow to Patrick's ego. Robin thought her mother was taking Patrick's side, but Anna assured her that she was not. Patrick brought Anna in to make a recording for Robin on Spinelli's computer. During her speech, Anna told Robin that no man should ever be a substitute for her own self-worth. Robin didn't have to make the same decisions Anna had made, such as raising a family on her own. Being adventurous wasn't everything. Sometimes being adventurous was just being courageous enough to be different. Both Patrick and Spinelli seemed touched by Anna's words. She told her daughter in the recording that Patrick loved Robin and Robin
loved Patrick. At the end of the day, what else was there?

Robin and Anna met in the lounge at the hospital. Robin wanted to know why Anna appeared on Patrick's blog to plead his suit. Anna said that it just happened, but that she really had expressed her true feelings. Anna did feel that Robin should marry Patrick. Patrick came over and showed his latest video, which featured Coleman appealing to Robin to accept Patrick's proposal. Anna, Robin, and Patrick all laughed at many of Coleman's unintentionally humorous and insightful comments. When Robin still would not say yes, Patrick left to get a recommendation from Mac. As he left, Robin was incredulous at the thought that her Uncle Mac would side with Patrick. When Robin saw Mac and Patrick together, she was very exasperated. She started to vent to them but was suddenly struck with sharp pains. Patrick asked the nurses to page Dr. Lee as Robin was in labor!

While Elizabeth and Patrick got Robin settled in a wheelchair, Mac fretted to Anna. He worried that Patrick was stressing Robin out by pressuring her to get married. Mac had a pessimistic attitude and feared Robin would lose the baby or that it would be born with HIV. Anna comforted him. Anna visited Robin and she was relieved that Robin was not in labor. Robin told Anna that she was treating the incident like practice for the real thing. Robin said she was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support she had. A tearful Anna apologized for being an overbearing mother who always knew what was right for her child. She told Robin that she would stop pressuring Robin to marry Patrick, but she would reserve the right to hover. Robin told Anna that she hoped she could be even half as good a mother to her child as Anna had been to her.

At the hospital, Matt Hunter was unconscious and suffering from third degree burns.  Patrick and Noah greeted each other fondly. Noah told Patrick how proud he was of him and Patrick told Noah that he did not do everything wrong as a parent. They shared a father-son hug. Robin asked Anna to find Matt's relatives, so Anna got on the phone. Robin left, but Noah arrived in time to hear that a doctor was seriously injured in a fire. When he heard the name, Matt Hunter, he hurried to Matt's room. Anna followed and asked if Noah knew Matt. With a smile on his face, he said "Yeah."

Anna visited Matt in ICU, and she told him Robin had asked her to locate Matt's family. Matt said it was no use. His mother was deceased and his father had never been in the picture. Later, Noah came in to talk to Matt about his injuries. Matt asked why he suddenly cared. Noah had never been a part of his life before the fire. Noah explained that Matt's mother only wanted Noah to pay child support and pay for part of Matt's education, in exchange for Noah not being a part of the child's life. Patrick was outside the room when he heard Matt yelling at Noah. He overheard the young doctor call Noah, "Dad."

At the hospital, Patrick walked into Dr. Hunter's room and asked if he had just heard him correctly. Noah and Matt both confirmed to Patrick that Dr. Hunter was Noah's son. Matt said he was curious about Patrick and Noah, so when the fellowship came up for him to work at General Hospital, he jumped at the opportunity. Matt told them both that he was no longer curious. Patrick asked if his mother had known, but Noah didn't think she had. Patrick was very upset to learn he had a brother and had never known, but he was also upset that his father had never taken care of his other son except financially. Patrick stormed out of the room with Noah soon following. Robin tried to stop Patrick to talk about their baby, but Patrick was in no mood. Anna and Robin witnessed as Patrick and Noah started shouting at each other in the hallway. Anna acknowledged to her daughter that Noah had not made good choices, but she thought he was still a good man. Robin and Anna went to see Matt and asked if there was anything they could do for him. After all, he was the only uncle Robin's daughter had. She did ask Anna if there was anything else she needed to know, but Anna confirmed she did not have any other children. Matt told them he just wanted a break. He hadn't come there asking for any family. No one took any interest in him until the fire, so he wasn't interested in them after the fire. Patrick walked in and told Matt to be nice to Robin, and the two brothers got into their first fight.

Noah went into Matt's hospital room to talk about treatment options for Matt's condition. Hot on his heels was Patrick. Matt told Noah that since Noah had had no use for Matt as a child, Matt did not need Noah as a dad, now that Matt was an adult. Patrick told Noah that he had no use for him as a dad, either. Matt did not bond with Patrick and sent him away just as he had Noah. Out at the nurses' station Patrick told Robin that he feared that he would be a bad parent because of what Noah had done to him and Matt. Robin assured Patrick that he had nothing to fear because there was no such thing as a bad dad gene. If Patrick wanted to be a good dad, and Robin was sure that he wanted to be, he would be. In the lounge, Noah was surprised to learn that Anna did not hate him. She told him that even though he had made mistakes in the past, she knew that he would do better with his family in the future. He told her that her confidence in him should make him want to go to an A.A. meeting instead of going to a bar where he could sink into a bottle. Anna looked perplexed as he walked away. Robin dropped in to see Matt. He tried to be sarcastic with her, but she put him in his place by pointing out that his behavior toward Patrick had been combative and argumentative. She told him that Patrick had had a rough life with Noah as a dad, also, and even though he had recently had a better relationship with Noah, Patrick had still put their bond as brothers ahead of his connection to Noah. Patrick went to see a prickly Matt, who responded sarcastically to Patrick's offer of a truce. Patrick did not take the bait. Instead he told Matt that even though they did not like each other, they were brothers and Patrick intended to honor that bond. Matt looked as though he wanted to relent.

Anna dropped by the police station to see Mac. She told him that Robin needed some cheering up after Patrick turned down her marriage proposal. He agreed to go see Robin. (he is successful and Anna next returns for the wedding).

At the Scorpio home, while Robin calmly prepared for her upcoming nuptials, Mac was on the phone ordering his police department to act as security for the wedding. Robin felt that Mac was going too far and told him so. As the two lovingly bickered, the sounds of a helicopter could be heard in the distance. It grew steadily louder, but Robin and Mac appeared oblivious to the sound as they continued to argue. Robin was delighted to see her mother when Anna suddenly walked through the front door. While Mac excused himself, mother and daughter sat down to for a heart-to-heart talk. Anna was sentimental as she reminisced about Robin's childhood. She let Robin know how proud she was of her, and how extraordinary she felt her daughter was.  Maxie walked in to find Robin and Anna weepy, and demanded that they stop crying. Maxie was not prepared to deal with puffy eyes before the wedding.

Anna arrived at the church in time to have a cozy talk with Robin before the ceremony. She brought a note from Robert telling Robin how much he loved her and wished that he could be with her. Robin and Anna shared their love for each other. Maxie was in a dither when she joined Robin and Anna. Robin told her to relax. Robin hugged Maxie and told her what a wonderful job she had done to make Robin's wedding special. Anna pulled out a beautiful pendant and told Robin that it would be "something old." She said that Philomena, Robin's adopted grandmother, had given it to Anna when Anna married Robin's father. For "something blue," Maxie gave Robin a blue beaded bracelet that had belonged to Georgie. "Something borrowed" was a handkerchief from Robert and they all agreed that "something new" was the baby.

Robin and her family were gathered in the bridal room of the church. Everyone but Robin, was concerned about Patrick's disappearance. Each grew more certain as the minutes ticked by, that Patrick did not intend to marry Robin. Robin disagreed. She had no idea where Patrick was, but she was definite that Patrick had not changed his mind. To ease everyone's fears, Robin called the hospital. Unfortunately, she was told that Patrick had checked out half an hour before Robin had called. Robin remained steadfast in her belief that Patrick would make it to the church in time to marry her. She shooed everyone out of the room so that she could change into her wedding dress. Radiant in her wedding gown, Robin went to speak to her guests. She thanked them for their patience and promised them that Patrick would arrive soon. All heads turned when Patrick ran into the church, calling out Robin's name. Robin beamed as her groom joined her in the front of the church and apologized for being late. He explained that he had been delayed by emergency surgery. Robin and Patrick were set to begin the ceremony but Mac piped up. He refused to allow Robin to marry Patrick without first walking Robin down the aisle. Mac took a few moments to share some tender words with Robin before he escorted her to her future husband. Father Coates began the ceremony, but before the happy couple could exchange vows, Robin's eyes widened. She turned to Patrick and told him that her water had broken; Robin was in labor.

As Robin and Patrick began to say their vows, Robin's water suddenly broke and she doubled over in pain with her first contraction. The minister asked if there was a doctor in the crowd, and the majority of the guests stood up. Kelly rushed to Robin and told everyone Robin was her patient. Coleman helped to usher guests out of the church, while Kelly told Robin and Patrick she didn't want to wait for an ambulance. Anna offered to drive the limo, which turned out to be an interesting and scary ride.  Mac, Anna, and Maxie panicked as they waited for each update. Liz did her best to keep them informed. Robin and the baby were not doing well. The umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby's neck and it was strangling the baby every time Robin had a contraction. Outside in the waiting room, Anna told Mac a story about a time that Robin had been sick and had wanted an old toy that Anna had not been able to produce because she had thrown it out as trash only a week before. She said that she felt helpless then and equally helpless while her daughter was in the delivery room. Spinelli brought coffee. Mac was grouchy, but Anna was thankful for his kindness. Maxie was a bundle of nerves. When she got into it with Epiphany, Matt pointed out that he thought she was just worried and scared and looking for some place to put her anger. Maxie apologized to both Epiphany and Matt then sat down and held Spinelli's hand.

Anna went to see Robin, who was very fearful. Anna gave her a pep talk about how mothers had to give their strength to their children. When she was done, Kelly asked her to leave so that she could begin the C-section. Outside, Anna told Mac that even though she had been strong for Robin, she was very scared for both her daughter and her grandchild. Liz came out of the operating room and told Robin's family that both mama and baby were fine. Only family could go in to see them, though. Spinelli bowed out, and Anna, Mac, and Maxie prepared to go see their newest relative. Maxie reminded Matt that he could also go in, but he didn't want to interfere quite yet. Once everyone had seen the baby, Robin and Patrick introduced the girl as Emma Grace Scorpio Drake. As Patrick held his little girl, he noticed a nick on her ear. The baby had been exposed to Robin's HIV. Outside the room, Mac and Anna confessed their fears to each other. Anna admitted that the chances of Emma getting HIV were low, and Mac reminded her that Emma would be getting a shot to combat the HIV.   Anna came in to see her granddaughter and was able to hold her for the first time. Patrick left to get some water for Robin, and Anna told baby Emma she would be there for any confessions when the child didn't want to go to her parents. Robin smiled but said she didn't like that comment. Anna told her daughter that Robin would never stop worrying over her new baby girl. Robin would worry any time Emma fell down, got picked on at school, or even got a bad grade. That was just part of being a parent.

Soon, Mac and Maxie came in to see Emma. Anna excused herself while Mac held the little girl. Maxie admitted she wasn't a baby person, but she would make an exception for little Emma. Maxie babbled on about how cute Emma was since her splotchiness had gone away. Mac promised the little girl he would be the most doting uncle, and Maxie said Emma would have Aunt Georgie as a guardian angel. Robin smiled as she watched Maxie and Mac with her little girl. Anna left the hospital room and went to the waiting area where Spinelli was sitting. He handed her a handkerchief when Anna started crying. After all of Anna's missions, she couldn't help but cry because there wasn't anything she could do to help Robin and Emma. There was no cure for HIV. Spinelli reminded Anna that the risk of Emma contracting HIV was low. Anna remembered the facts and couldn't believe she had been so silly, but Spinelli said she had just been thinking with her heart. Anna brought Spinelli in to see Emma, and Robin asked Spinelli if he would be Emma's honorary Uncle. Maxie thought Spinelli could also be little Emma's tutor, but Mac wasn't sure that was such a great idea. They all started talking about what they could teach the little girl. Kelly walked in and interrupted them with good news. Emma had not contracted HIV. Everyone congratulated each other until they heard beeping, Robin was crashing!

Patrick worked frantically to get Robin's heart started as Mac, Anna, Maxie, and Spinelli watched helplessly from the hallway. After a frantic effort from the medical team, Robin was stabilized, but the news was grim. Robin's blood was not clotting and she was slowly bleeding to death. Patrick shared the unhappy news with Anna, Maxie, Mac, and Spinelli.  Anna went to see Robin and she reminded Robin of some of the times they had shared when Robin was a little girl. She told Robin how much she loved her and wanted her to live. Anna stopped Jason on his way out of Robin's room. She told him that Robin had told her how much he had meant to her and assured him that she would let Robin know that he had stopped by for a visit. Alone with her daughter, Anna tucked the blankets around Robin and fussed over her. Patrick entered the room a few minutes later, pushing Emma's bassinette. He explained that it was Emma's feeding time and offered Anna the opportunity to give her granddaughter a bottle. Anna realized that Patrick extended the invitation because he was afraid to do the task himself. She assured Patrick that he was up to giving his daughter a bottle, and left. Patrick carefully scooped Emma into his arms and sat down on the foot of Robin's bed. When he offered Emma the bottle, she latched onto it and began drinking. Patrick spoke softly to his daughter while she fed. When he looked up, Robin's eyes were open and watching them.

Before Anna and Patrick went in to see Robin, Anna told him to stop thinking like a doctor and start thinking like a husband and father. She told him to get an optimistic attitude and hold on to it for Robin's sake. Once they went in to see Robin, Anna heard resignation in Robin's voice. She sent Patrick to get Emma, then told Robin that she had to stop thinking that she was going to die and needed to summon up every bit of strength and stubbornness she had in her. Anna told Robin that she had to live for her child and she had to live so that all her dreams would come true.  Robin realized that Anna was right. When Patrick wheeled Emma in, Anna left so that the three of them could share some family time. Robin told Patrick and Emma that she was determined to live so that the three of them could have a great life together.

December 19th, 2008  Anna walked into her daughter's apartment, yelling out about all the stuff she had gotten. She was shocked to see Robert there instead of Robin. She was instantly worried about his traveling, but Robert assured her he was in remission. He would even allow her to call the clinic, where they would surely tell her that Robert had been the worst patient they ever had. That didn't shock Anna, but she still wasn't sure that Robert traveling had been such a good idea. Robert told her to test him with something to prove he was back to his own normal self. They bickered back and forth in good nature until Robin walked in, shocked to see her father. He said he wouldn't be anywhere else while his only daughter was getting married. Besides, he wanted to see his granddaughter.

Robin picked up Emma and told her that Robert Scorpio would be her hero if she ever needed one. Robert was stunned as he held his beautiful grandbaby. He fed her a bottle and told her she was proof that he did something right. When he was in the hospital dying, the only thing that held him back from going to the other side was the need to see and hold his granddaughter. She was definitely worth the fight. Robert was annoyed by the looks he was getting from Robin and Anna, but they told him it had been so sweet to see him with his granddaughter for the first time. Anna and Robert ooed and ahhed over Emma and talked about who she looked like. Anna was sad that Robert hadn't known Robin as a baby, but Robert said Anna had done what she had to do at the time. Robert asked how the wedding planning was going, and Anna was stunned that Robert was interested. He said he was interested because his only daughter was getting married and he was alive to see it. He thought it was a good idea to get married the day after Christmas, because it would make it less likely for Patrick to forget his anniversary. Robin said she and Patrick picked the 26th because they couldn't wait any longer to be married, and it gave her time to get a new wedding dress that fit her post-baby body. Robert asked if he could help with the wedding, but Robin assured him that Maxie had it all taken care of. She asked how Robert was feeling and if he was able to walk around. She wanted her father to walk her down the aisle. Patrick walked through the door and was surprised to see Robert there with Anna. He didn't know that Robert was well enough to travel. Robert said he couldn't miss that father-in-law/son-in-law talk they still needed to have.

December 22nd, 2008  Robin asked Robert to walk her down the aisle, but he said no. Robert said that it was really Mac's place to do it, because he had been a better father to Robin. Robin said that Mac had done it at her first wedding and would not mind if Robert did it at this wedding. Robin said that Robert was her father and since he was in remission, she wanted him to walk her down the aisle. Robert said he would do it if Mac agreed. Then Robert told Robin that he needed some air and left the apartment. Mac arrived on the scene just as Robert and Luke were being taken to the station. He vouched for them and accepted their explanation for being at the crime scene. Luke took his leave when he heard that his Cuban cigar connection had been busted at the free clinic. Mac was overjoyed to hear that Robert was in remission. When Robert told Mac that Robin wanted him to walk her down the aisle, Mac thought it a very good idea. Robert tried to cede the job to Mac, but Mac did not take no for an answer. Mac said that Robert could either walk Robin down the aisle or he could spend Christmas in jail. Robert opted to walk Robin down the aisle.

Anna and Patrick got back to Robin's apartment with food and drink. When Robin told Anna that Robert had left abruptly, she told her not to fret, and was confident that Robert would be back. While Patrick tended Emma, Robin asked Anna to be her matron of honor. Anna was overwhelmed. Robin said that when she had nearly died, she remembered Anna telling her to take her strength. Robin told Anna that she really wanted to share her wedding day with her mom. Robert, Patrick, Robin, Anna, and Mac shared a meal and toasted family. Robin summed up the meaning of family as she told each of them how much they meant to her and how grateful she was to have family around her so that they could share Christmas together.

December 23rd, 2008  Anna and Robert showed up and Anna mentioned how beautiful Grandmother Filomena's necklace would look on Robin with her blouse. Robin brushed the comment off, because she didn't want her mother to know she had lost the necklace. Robert and Anna decided they should start with dessert first, since the past year had taught them to go with the sweet stuff first. Robin was getting ready to tell them they didn't have any dessert when there was a knock at the door. It was Spinelli and Maxie asking for Christmas wishes. Robin said they already had everything they could wish for. Spinelli offered up a gift anyway before leaving. Everyone was shocked to open the gift and find cookies. Everyone except Anna was hesitant to eat something from Spinelli, but Anna took a bite and was in awe. Robert was next to try the cookies, and they insisted Robin try them. Patrick wasn't very happy about Robin trying something edible from Spinelli, but Anna and Robert insisted they wouldn't let their daughter do something that would hurt her. Robin took a bite and couldn't believe the cookies were the exact same cookies her grandmother used to make for Christmas. Grandma Filomena had promised to give Robin the recipe, but had died before giving it to her granddaughter. There was another surprise, Patrick found the necklace Robin had lost.

December 26th, 2008  Anna was at the church when Robin arived and ready for some private time with her daughter while they did makeup. They laughed about Emma being pushy, just like they were. Meanwhile, Mac found Robert pacing in the chapel. He realized Robert was panicking over giving his little girl up. Robert thanked Mac for taking care of Robin when he wasn't around, but Mac turned around and thanked Robert for entrusting his little girl to him. Robert walked into the chapel a little later on and found Patrick. They decided it was time for the father-in-law/son-in-law talk. Robert asked Patrick what he wanted to hear from Emma's husband on the day of their wedding. Patrick said he would want to hear how blessed the man was and that he was committed to making the marriage work, despite each other's flaws. He wanted to hear that the man would never intentionally hurt Patrick's little girl and he would promise to value her, honor her, and love her. He acknowledged that relationships take work, and Patrick wanted to hear that his future son-in-law would never take his daughter for granted, and their love would grow more every year. Robert decided Patrick was fit for his little girl and gave his blessing.

Anna knocked and walked back into the room where Robin was getting ready. Anna couldn't believe how beautiful her daughter looked, and Robin warned her mother not to make her cry. Anna discovered she had left her gift in the car and left to get it. While she was gone, Robin remembered showing Stone the mantilla her mother had worn when she married Robert. Robin had always imaged herself wearing it for her own wedding. In her memory, Stone put the mantilla on her head and told her she would make a lovely bride. Tears streamed down Robin's face until she was brought back to reality by a knock at the door. It was Sonny, and he was there to give Robin his best wishes. Robin said she was just thinking about Stone and how he had wanted Robin to find love again. Stone's dying wish had come true and Robin had found love again. Robin thanked Sonny for his support. When Stone had died, Robin wouldn't have been able to pull through without Sonny. Jason was also instrumental, though, as Sonny pointed out. Robin said she was blessed to have both men in her life. Luke walked into the church and found Robert looking a little seasick. He couldn't believe something like a wedding would cause Robert so much grief, but Robert told Luke he would understand when his own little girl was walking down the aisle. Anna walked in just as Luke was leaving and asked if Robert had run him out. Robert said that Luke had just seen into the future. Robert had also seen Patrick earlier, but he assured Anna he had not run the groom off.

Anna said Patrick had surprised them, and probably even himself, with how much he had grown recently. Watching Patrick with Emma made Anna regret her decision to keep Robin apart from Robert during her first six years. Robert said it was water under the bridge, but Anna said it was her bridge. They both agreed they had a wonderful daughter that they didn't deserve. As Robert prepared to knock on Robin's door, he remembered seeing her for the first time. When he finally entered her room, he couldn't believe how beautiful she was. Anna walked down the aisle first and finally, it was Robin's turn. Everyone turned to watch as Robin gracefully approached and stood next to Patrick.

December 29, 2008 - Robin's wedding to Patrick went off without a hitch. Robin was beautiful in a white strapless gown. Robert walked her down the aisle where Patrick waited with Anna, Robin's matron of honor, and Matt, Patrick's best man. In front of friends and family, Robin and Patrick exchanged heartfelt vows that detailed their rocky courtship and their undying love. At the reception, held in the Metro Court ballroom, the denizens of Port Charles danced and shared well wishes. Robin and Patrick started the dancing. They kissed and spoke of their love for each other. Then Robin danced with Robert, who had a flashback to a memory of Robin as a very young girl. He shared his regret for missing a substantial part of her growing-up years. Robin told him she had everything she ever wanted and she was responsible for her own happiness. She told him she loved him and she thought he was the best dad ever. Anna danced with Patrick and told him that she would trust him with her daughter. Patrick thanked her for her trust and said that he would never stop loving Robin. Epiphany shared a dance with Edward and a jealous Spinelli looked on helplessly as Matt asked Maxie to dance and she accepted. Matt complimented Maxie on the wedding and they seemed to have a good time dancing together. Robin took time to tell Mac how much she loved him and he told her that he felt lucky to have been part of her life. Lainie and Kelly rhapsodized about eternal love while Edward encouraged Luke to court Tracy and pretend to mean it.

Both Robert and Anna made speeches and toasts for Robin and Patrick before the bride and groom cut the cake. As Robert watched, he flashed back to the time that he and Anna had told Robin that they were her parents and would love her forever. When Robert turned to Anna and asked if she thought about the time they had admitted being Robin's parents, they were both stunned to learn that they had both been recalling the same moment in time. When Anna remarked to Robert that she was in awe that a young woman as lovely as Robin had been conceived out of their love for each other, Robert responded that it still ranked as the greatest love of all time. Anna had tears in her eyes as she looked from Robert to her daughter.
